Enemies of Success

The race to become successful is one many of us are on. There are many obstacles and roadblocks we must face to get there but the goal is always the same; Massive Achievement. For many that goal never becomes a reality.

Why? Because success has enemies. Anything worthwhile will require focus, dedication and determination to become a reality. Along with these traits we must also prepare to do battle with the enemy of success. It has many faces but only one goal: mediocrity.

Here are some common and hard to defeat enemies of success;

• Negative Mentality - whatever the mind can conceive and believe it will achieve. A positive mentality sets you up for success. You feel like the entire world is under your feet and nothing is too difficult for you. Conversely if you have a negative mentality then you feel like the whole world is on top of you and no matter what you do there is no way of escape. To become the success, you were destined to be you must remove negative thoughts and replace them with thoughts about how all things are possible because you believe in yourself.

• Defeatist Attitude - when we face challenges that take us out our attitude can go from "right up my alley" to "why the heck did I try this in the first place?" We second guess our intentions, actions and motives. To prevent a defeatist attitude from sinking in remind yourself that the only thing that can fail is a try. You are not a failure because you tried something that didn't work; you fail if you refuse to get up after being knocked down. When hit 7 times all you must do to win is get up 8.

• Mediocrity - mediocrity is to success what good is to great. When we perform at a mediocre level it's not that we have failed; we just didn't succeed greatly. Its average, just enough to get by but not great. How do we go from well (mediocre) to great (success)? Strive to live at your potential. Don't settle from just getting by or getting over. Strive to annihilate your obstacles, climb to the top instead of stopping on the way up and give over 100% into everything you are involved with.

• Settling for winning a battle instead of winning the war - much like being mediocre we must focus on overcoming the war not just winning a few battles. For example, if you are an alcoholic and you wish to stop drinking you can go a whole day with no liquor and be glad. But to think you have defeated alcoholism with 1 day of not drinking is winning a battle for the day but losing the war. Fight to win wars, not battles.

Be prepared to win. Be prepared to succeed. And stand against any enemy that stands in your way.

Yes, You Gotta Believe in Yourself - But There's a Catch

Woman In White Lace Dress

Believe in yourself.

Ah, how quaintly those three words ring throughout our collective childhood memories.

And for many a good reason. They're age-old wisdom, really. You know how some people say that every one of those cliché'd sayings always have their legitimacy back somewhere?

Yeah, this one's a prime example.

Believe in yourself is something we're usually told as we grow up. It's the predictable point of every other fable, fairytale, kid's show, cartoon, or other type of narrative cultural product aimed at children.

And indeed, why wouldn't it be? ALL confident people believe in themselves. The one common denominator for everyone who ever stood up for themselves and made a deliberate effort to change the world for the better, is confidence. And that means believing in yourself.

Oh, and claiming that believe in yourself is somewhat of a mantra within the world of self-help and self-development would be an understatement on par with "Batman Forever isn't exactly the greatest movie ever" or "Donald Trump can seem a little self-centered sometimes".

So then why is this one confidence coach all of a sudden coming along and telling you to NOT believe in yourself??

Well, I'm not.

But...

Like I've written about before, simply loving yourself isn't gonna cut it in and by itself if you want to achieve lasting confidence. Well, this is kinda the same thing.

And indeed, the two are highly alike. One couldn't very well love oneself without believing in oneself, or vice versa.

In fact...

Loving yourself = self-esteem.

And...

Believing in yourself = self-confidence.

"Okay, wait a minute, WAIT A MINUTE! So you're saying that there's a "but"... If I want to build my confidence... by being confident?!?"

No.

My point is, that simply believing in yourself is not enough to build lasting confidence if what you're doing doesn't truly support you and matter to you.

I'll even say it again for good measure:

To believe in yourself is not enough to build lasting confidence if none of what you're doing is truly supportive or truly relevant to you.

For example, you might believe in yourself when it comes to playing video games. And your confidence in your video game skills might be ever so justified. But if you sit around playing video games literally all day, chances are you're not gonna have much going for you out in the real world.

(Unless, of course, you're one of those professional gamers who go to tournaments and win huge cash prices and whatnot.)

You might believe in yourself in a whole lot of areas and still end up making a complete crash-landing of your entire life -- or even worse.

Think I'm kidding? I know this, because I did this. And lot of people I know did this, too.

... In fact, pretty much every successful person ever did this.

Yes, you gotta believe in yourself if you want confidence. It goes without saying. But the crucial "but" here is that your confidence won't last unless you...

  • Do what matters to you
  • Know what you're doing
  • Know why you're doing it
  • Do the right things at the right time
  • Stay focused
  • Keep at it and never give up

Do all of the above check out with you? Good. In that case, you can hardly believe in yourself too much.

How You See Yourself Means Everything

Woman in Blue Bikini Sitting on Brown Wooden Folding Chair on Beach

Indeed, how you see yourself means everything since it is impossible to know how another person is going to feel, think or even look at you. When you realize it, you can then focus on the only sure thing in your life that you can control, and that is how you think, perceive and feel about yourself.
What do you see when you look in the mirror? Do you speak to yourself? If yes, what do you say? Are you thinking about yourself negatively or positively? Do you take action or are you pushing things until a later time?

Whatever you do, you have to understand that you cannot control how others feel about you. It is hopeless to think that everyone would like you. There will always be people who will mistreat you, judge you, criticize you, or spread lies about you while others will support you, love you, speak kindly of you or be your greatest fan.

What is more important is how you see yourself. You have to be proud of who you are, and not be worrying about what someone else thinks of you. Why should you spend years trying to please other people, or wanting them to see the good in you? It is a waste of time. Just realize that you are good enough, smart enough, pretty enough, skinny enough, kind enough, or successful enough. You need to believe in yourself.

How You See Yourself Is Believing
At first, there are always people out there who will be haters. It does not matter the good that you do for yourself or this world. So do not let those individuals undermine how you see yourself because it can destroy you. Instead, use their ignorance and dislike as a drive to push forward.

On the other hand, you might not believe in yourself or your abilities. You may even feel sad or discouraged. Well, don't! Get up and look at yourself in the mirror and observe the person that is staring back at you. Realize that to believe in yourself; you have to love yourself first.

Do you know someone who is an incredible person, talented, beautiful, intelligent, but they do not see it? No matter what you tell them, they do not believe you or themselves. It may be you, right now, facing that mirror. You must know that how you see yourself is crucial, much more than how others see you. It determines the results in your life long before you even get to them.

See Yourself by Imagining
At the end of each year, people often come up with some New Year's resolutions and goals to change some things in their life. But even if they always begin with the greatest intentions, most never follow through. In my experience, anyone who ever decided to do something once a year never got very far.

You may have huge goals in mind, but what often happens is that you get the strange tendency to underestimate your capacity and you see yourself not being able to achieve what you want.

Therefore, the thoughts you have about yourself is what is stopping you from taking action and doing what is necessary. If, however, you decide to see yourself as someone who can learn new things and can imagine all of the things you can accomplish, then your conviction will directly support what your desires are.

See Yourself Letting Go
So, you have to realize that you need to let entirely go of caring or worrying about what anyone else thinks about you. Instead, start aiming solely at how you should feel about yourself. And block out other's opinions of you and focus all your attention on being the person you want you to see yourself to be.

When you forget about seeking other people's approval, you begin to live your life focused on doing the best you can each day. You no longer need to compete with anyone else but yourself.

Remember, no one is perfect. All of us make mistakes. We have to learn from them and move forward determined not to make the same mistake again. You have to make the most of your gifts, talents, and potential. And never compare yourself with other people's skills.

See Yourself Being Confident
As you start to let go and switch how you see yourself, your confidence grows. Then your talents and abilities blossom in ways you never thought possible. And your life is suddenly full of blessings beyond measure in every facet of your life. So the only opinion that you need to focus on is yours.

As a result, it makes you happier, more success comes your way, and you enjoy a better life. You have to believe and see yourself capable of what you feel is right for you and stick to it. Life is not about waiting to feel good. It is about having confidence in yourself, fully living in the present moment, and appreciating who you are.

Therefore, ignore people who drag others down into a state of misery with them. Those people are insecure and feel like they are not good enough and that it is why you have to avoid them. If you see yourself prosperous, you will be. But if you see yourself unsuccessful, that precisely is what you will be.

Your Thoughts Create Your Reality
You become what you think. So, your thoughts are things, and they continuously create your reality. Whatever you think about increases, expands and multiply in your life, so that is why it does not matter what others think about you. It is what you think about yourself that matters.

Therefore, let me encourage you to carefully consider believing in yourself and celebrate the abilities and qualities you have. Make the way in which you see yourself your main concern because it is indeed the source from which all your choices, decisions, actions and results are based. And it makes all the difference in the world.

Remember that you can be anything you want if you just focus on doing your best. How others see you is not important. But how you see yourself means everything. So stay true to yourself and never be afraid of doing what feels right to you. Decide, believe and stick to it.

Message From the Universe: Never Look Back

Person Sitting Outdoors

"Once you make up your mind and start something. Once you commit to it, say "Yes!" and never look back. Do you have any doubt that I won't rush to your side?

That legions won't be summoned? That players won't be drawn to help, assist, and fall in love? That connections won't be made? Circumstances won't be crafted? Dots won't be connected?

That the course of history won't be irrevocably changed?

Good, I didn't think so.

I'd say you're ready,
The Universe"

The time is now and you should go for it no matter what. Never doubt yourself or your capabilities. Study your market, put all the odds on your side and do not wait for that PERFECT moment because the truth is, it might never come. However, by starting something, you are creating your perfect moment by molding it the way you want. Planetary alignment happens once in several hundred thousand years, so I am not sure you will be around for the next one. When you want something in life, you create the opportunity for yourself and you never look back. Believe in yourself that things can happen the way you expected and the Universe will follow with your wishes. There is never the right moment, but there is always YOUR moment. You can make the changes you want in your life and focus on your goals and dreams while navigating through your life's journey. Never hesitate, never doubt, never question your own motives and when you feel the moment is right for YOU, you need to take actions and get things done.

We all choose our own path in life and never expect others to make decisions for you. Life is filled with opportunities but you need to be the one going out there and seek the one that is the best for you. I am not saying to take everything that crosses your path, but select the ones that will make you happy. You need to wake every morning and be grateful and appreciate all your blessings. It all starts with a thought followed by beliefs and take action. You can't just sit on your ass and expect things to happen. History tend to repeat itself somehow so you need to make sure that you are at the right place and at the right time. How can you know? Well, you have the master key in your hands and you are in front of hundred of doors leading to different opportunities. You can't really know in advance the outcome when walking through a specific door but by studying, researching and learning, you might retrieve more information needed that will guide your senses to the right door. You will make mistakes, you will fail but because of being better prepared, you will always think of plan B or C or D and move forward, no matter what challenges you will face in life.

Mindset Vs Skill - How to Succeed in Business (By Kathleen C Olivieri)

Photo of Woman Sitting By Table While Looking Away

An online mentor of mine, Jennifer Allwood, shares that "business is 20% strategy and 80% mindset". While the "strategy" of a business is very important, to be successful you must have the right mindset about yourself, your company and your customers.

If you are a small business owner and you are looking for the "secret strategy" to change your business, you could spend all of your time in search of strategy. For example, scroll through Facebook and you will see the 100's of trainers, coaches and experts who are trying to sell you the latest "gadget" for success.

Stop enrolling in every Free Group and Free Download that you see. You are WASTING your time by chasing a shiny new object that is just not out there.

Learn the skills you need, know your audience, and stay plugged in to your industry. After that? It's all about Mindset.

How do you know if you have a mindset problem?
You keep searching for the "right" skill, the "right" training or that "right" coach that will give you the Magic Pill or Secret Sauce for success. Here are a few examples that might indicate you have a mindset problem:

  • Complain about the success of others
  • Enroll in every course/training you see on social media
  • Continue to ask for the Right Words to describe your product or what you do
  • Buy every planner in search of a better system
  • Always busy but not completing Income Producing Activities
  • Not consistent in small, daily activities

If you are searching constantly for skills, then you don't believe in yourself or your business. To succeed, you need the mindset component along with the skills.
Subconscious Mind
Your Subconscious Mind runs the show based on unfiltered information known as beliefs. Your Mind believes everything that you think. For example, when you say these things, your mind believes it:

  • Why am I so stupid?
  • I will never get that promotion.
  • I'm not very pretty.
  • I'm not smart enough.
  • I'll never be successful like "Suzy".

Each and every time you say these phrases out loud and in your mind, your brain believes the statement! Next, you must learn how to change your mindset.
How to Change Your Mindset?
If we know that changing our mindset is key, then why are we not doing it? And most importantly how do we change our mindset? It's not easy, but keep it simple and you can Change Your Mindset!

There are several recommendations that I can make for changing your mindset.

  • Personal Development?-?I highly recommend Mel Robbins and her resources.
  • Daily Affirmations! Write them on your bathroom mirror or maybe a Pinterest board.
  • Eliminate Distractions and get new friends
  • Don't allow yourself to say negative things about yourself
  • Make it an everyday habit

To get the life you want, you must let go of old limiting beliefs. Tackle the mindset beliefs that are keeping you from moving forward, keeping you from reaching your greatness!
If you have a small business, please know that you must have the skills for your business. But, you must also have the right mindset for success. You need skills and mindset!

How do you continually feed your mindset?

7 Steps to Build an Unshakeable Self-Confidence

Man in Black Peaked Lapel Blazer Crossing Arms

Would you like more confidence in your life?

Confidence to run your business powerful?

Confidence to make the right decision and lead people/others?

What would having more confidence mean to you?

Confidence is not just felt but heard and seen by everyone.

The more confident you appear to the world, the better one can connect with the right kind of people.

A confident person, not just catches the attention of the people, but can play the role of the influencer as well. If you want to get heard and most importantly wish to influence others with your words and actions, then you must build up a level of confidence that gives you the strength and authority to stay strong and calm in any situation.

We are surrounded by critics, self-doubts, failures and sometimes all things overpower us to an extent where our self-confidence touches its low. Work on your positive and negative aspect and give an edge to your personality that makes it hard for others to ignore you.

We all are blessed with some extraordinary traits, but we are engrossed in so many trivial things that we fail to realize our USP.

7 powerful ways to boost confidence:

Visualize the future: Imagine yourself as a successful entrepreneur or a successful professional. When you consider yourself a confident and successful individual you train your mind to work to achieve it.

Create a goal: Life without a goal is haywire. Setting up goals help in channelizing the energy in a right direction. And this will definitely help in making things better for you.

Uplift your self-esteem: Believe in yourself and view yourself as a successful person. The ways we perceive our self-image help us in deciding a course of action. The day you start believing that you can, your destination is within your reach. Nothing is impossible for a mind full of plans and heart full of vigor and positivity.

Self-examination is a must: Doubting yourself one thing and being the inner critic is another thing. When you question yourself, you get the better picture of the whole scenario. It brings out all the possible outcomes, and challenges that might cross your path. So analyzing the plan and checking them on the parameter of reality checks ensure better tomorrow.

Feel good: The concept of power dressing is creating a fad and trust me wearing a right outfit and sitting in a right posture can give the instant boost to your personality. Wear what looks good on me

Embrace rejection: Young mind comes up with new ideas, full of enthusiasm, but only a small percentage of people remain in the race for a long run. Why? Our schools, college don't teach us how to deal with rejection and failure. The more open one becomes to rejection and failure, the stronger they become. When you have no fear of rejection, you can expand and give trail to new ideas and plans as many times as you want.

Help others: Does it sound clichéd? Well, helping others not just bring happiness and satisfaction. But it also helps in focusing on what good we have to offer others. This will do wonder to improve your self-confidence.

4 Powerful Reasons Why Setting Goals Is Important

Winding Road Photography

Goals are what move us forward through life; they are the oxygen that fuels our dreams. They are the first step we take in every journey. It is essential to realize the importance and significance of setting powerful goals and how to apply this information to your life. If you don't know why you should be setting goals in your life, here are four powerful reasons why goals are important.

They Give You Focus

You may have all the potential in the world, but without focus your talents and abilities are useless. You can't achieve anything in your life if you haven't set goals for yourself. It is your goals that give you direction in life. Having a sense of direction gives your mind the ability to focus on a target rather than just wasting energy drifting aimlessly through life. When your mind is focused, you are better able to reach your goals.

They Move Your Forward

Having goals with specific deadlines provides you with something to plan and work toward. Goals give you something to focus on and visualize to connect yourself with your deepest desires better. Goals give you the motivation and energy you need to work through challenges and setbacks in life. When you write your goals down, they become an external representation of what you desire most and are a constant reminder of what you need to accomplish.

They Help You Believe in Yourself

Setting goals is a way to fuel your ambitions. It isn't just about creating a plan for your life and a way to hold yourself accountable; goal setting gives us the inspiration needed to aim for those things in life that we never thought were possible. If you want to accomplish something, you have to make a goal for yourself and work every day toward achieving that goal. If you aren't able to see the progress you make, your dreams become nothing more than vague notions floating in your imagination.

They Help You Live Life to the Fullest

Taking the time to set goals will ensure that you are living your life to the fullest. There are many beautiful things in life to do and experience. However, without concrete goals, the things that you want to accomplish and experience in your life will be nothing more than a dream. If you're going to get the most out of your life, you have to know what it is you truly want.

This doesn't mean that you have to have every minute of your life planned out in front of you. However, if you don't have clear goals for your life, you'll never be able to do what you want and live life to the fullest.

Passion Is the Glue That Stimulates Commitment

Woman Doing Leg Stretching

Do you commit whole heartedly to a new project or venture. Do you see it through to completion and commit to whatever it takes or abandon your project half way through? To increase your stick-ability increase your passion. If you are only mildly interested you are not going to feel the enthusiasm to continue when the going gets tough, you are likely to flounder at the first hurdle.

So before you start, is the project something you want to do or is it something someone else wants you to tackle? How strong is your desire, why do you want to do it? How will the finished result make you feel? Do you feel the commitment required warrants the effort necessary to complete it. How passionate do you feel about the project, is it a burning desire?

So if you score well on all these points, dwelling on the end result and how much it will mean to you will help you to increase your commitment. Visualise the end result, set a date for its completion and a plan to execute it in the time-scale. The more you dwell on the end result the more excitement you will feel for the tasks required. It will become a labour of love. You will enjoy the hours you commit to your project. The drive and passion will grow and help keep you on track to achieve your dream.

Think of all the people who set out to build their houses and execute it to the end despite set backs and running out of money, they find a way despite challenges. Did you see on the news the group of elderly ladies that 20 years ago set out to build a community housing project so that they could all live in close proximity and help each other. Their dream finally came to fruition, the oldest lady was in her eighties. They are now advising a couple of other groups to do the same. Take heed if they can do something as large as that, you can achieve a simple project.

Believe in yourself and your abilities, each project you complete will help you grow. You will gains stick-ability and belief that will be better than will-power alone. Do something every day to advance your project so that your desire doesn't grow cold. This will enable you to see progress and of course never give up.

So what is your new venture or project? What are you going to see through to the end and enjoy the result of? Could it be you want to work at home like 2,000,000,000 others that are searching Google to find ways to do just that.

Affiliate marketing is a simple way to begin online, and with the guidance of a coach who provides excellent products and good training you can start earning commissions whilst you are learning the necessary skills.

So whatever your new project or venture follow it through to the end and you will feel the satisfaction and achievement. You don't want to leave a trail of half completed projects behind you any more, become dynamic and confident in your ability to achieve. Not only that but you will achieve your dreams.

Have you ever asked yourself why is it that some people seem to have massive success with Internet marketing whilst others don't. Have you ever tried to make money online and failed? Don't worry it's not your fault. Most people are using completely the wrong affiliate marketing strategies.

Shift Into Divine Alignment

Being in divine alignment feels so good because it allows us to freely be who we were meant to be. We don't have to pretend or be inauthentic because of the expectations of others. And we can't worry about who accepts us and who doesn't. Do you want to know something? Not everyone will and that's more than okay! Their acceptance of us can't block our blessings or our path to success. Those things have already been established. But when you worry about the opinions of others, and scale back on your big dreams because of their small mindset, that can hinder you.

Focus on who you were created to be and the change you were born to bring into the world, and the gifts you are meant to share. When you focus on those things the opinions don't matter. Because you don't have the time or energy to invest in that negative nonsense.

So don't hide your gifts and don't be afraid, show up in the world in a big way. You never know what God has on the other side of your leap of faith. Believe in yourself even if nobody else believes in you. You can't control how others feel about you but you can control how you feel about yourself.

Life is too short to live it in the box that others try to put us in. We were made for more and we deserve more. We deserve the amazing and phenomenal life that have been divinely designed for us. So go for it!

Fear Limits Our Vision

I've learned that fear limits our vision. Transforming fear into freedom is great! Believe in yourself! Have faith in your abilities! Ability is what we're capable of doing. Motivation determines what we do. Attitude determines how well we do it. It is our choices... that show what we truly are, far more than our abilities.

Sometimes fear can make even the smallest changes seem extremely uncomfortable. Fear can prevent you from breaking destructive habits. We all know that smoking, poor dietary choices, excessive alcohol and a sedentary lifestyle are a recipe for health problems, but we often gravitate toward these habits because they help numb our anxious or fearful feelings.

If you have ever tried to break a bad habit like this, you know how stressful it can be because suddenly you are filled with anxiety and you don't know how to handle it except to run back to your "pacifiers" - the very habits you are trying to break. Fear can prevent you from taking risks.

Fear can prevent you from pursuing your goals. Fear can prevent you from expanding your life. How to stop fear from limiting your potential. They are merely a perception that things "could" go wrong - but that doesn't mean they will.

We often talk about getting over the fear of failure in order to move forward, but is the fear of success holding you back? Fear is unnecessary worry. Fear is a lack of self-confidence. Fear is evidence of an inability to control one's thoughts. Fear is often the underlying reason for failure.

Fear is in everyone. And thankfully, fear is controllable and can be overcome. So what can you do about it? Sometimes all you need to do is "out" the fear by admitting to yourself that you are, in fact, afraid.

Which of these classic fears is keeping you from succeeding? Think these through to begin overcoming the fears within yourself. Fear of not coping with success. Fear of becoming someone else. You must realize that life is in constant change. It throws down a challenge. Change or get left behind.

Fear of not being up to the task. Remember when you were little and every time the task didn't really sound appealing to you, you pulled out that, "I can't do it" excuse, and most of the time, it worked? What it can really mean is, "I don't know how to do it.

Fear of not living up to the task. You may wonder if the first victory was a fluke. Fear of not being worthy. Perhaps you've always wondered if you could succeed at something. You may not have felt worthy of this success. Fear of making enemies.

Remember, playing small does not serve the world. People fear success for many other reasons. Look fear in the face and become unstoppable.

Hang around with people who will challenge you. Change the way you think. Don't worry if things don't progress as fast as you want. Keep trusting God's vision for your life.

Message From the Universe: Not All Money Grow on Trees

"The trick with spending money lies in knowing, with every fiber of your being, that it will return.

And so it must.

As if on wings,
The Universe"

We are hear that money do not grow on trees. Besides the Federal reserve and the illegal underground market, NO one is legally aloud to print money whenever they need it. It's unfortunate for many of us to not have that privilege to have a printer and just print out money at our convenience. However, there is somehow, laying deep into your subconscious mind, a little printer that is compose of neurotransmitters that can somehow bring in the money that you need at the right opportunistic time in your life. It is what we call: "Belief". Many fortune 500 magazine authors will write articles about living frugally to obtain wealth and invest the saved money to grow your portfolio and retire with no financial stress. It's in our mindset that we should invest today and live frugally to enjoy our future in luxury. Are these articles written by financial advisers working for banks and investments firms so they can make more in brokerage fees from you, the investor of the future? Is there any guarantee for you to enjoy the fruit of your hard work and investments? The ingredient that is missing in many people's mind is the belief that spending today means that you will suffer tomorrow and regret your purchases. You need to change this mind set. Of course, it is necessary to spend the money that you have, and not in credit cards. You can't go and spend more than what you have or earn. However, if you save to buy a big screen TV and have the attitude that you are capable of making the money that you will spend on that purchase, you will be exposed to opportunities to recoup that money and not feel like it will never come back. If you have the discipline to save for the things you want and have the belief that the money will always come back, do not deprive yourself and get what you want and enjoy your life TODAY.

We save and save and save for tomorrow and forget to live for today. We work hard for the things we would love to have but fear that if we spend the money, we won't be able to have money for emergency days. We live for today to only anticipate the worst for tomorrow. We live in FEAR of what can happen and not in the belief that we can control many outcomes of our lives if we believe in ourselves and our skills. When you learn to understand how life works, how you can work around many things that you can somewhat predict the outcome of some of your decisions, whatever else comes through your life journey should be welcomed and dealt in a mature and responsible way. Life will throw you a few jabs here and there and there is NO way you can avoid them all. However, if you truly believe in yourself and how to overcome uncertainties, your life should go smoother from this point forward. Always believe that the Universe is NEVER against you, it ONLY listens to your thoughts and actions. The belief part is all up to you.

Message From the Universe: New Positive Thoughts=New Opportunities

"There's nothing that "thinking new thoughts" can't solve, make happen, or improve.

Wow, sent that one just in time, huh?
The Universe"

So kick into high gear and start thinking new and improved positive thoughts. Don't be afraid of your own dreams, it's allowed to think big. Many will say to focus on the small things and forget the big dreams because nothing will ever get accomplished if it's too difficult to reach these goals. These are the naysayers, they are afraid that you WILL reach these big unreachable dreams. Who are they to control how you think, how you dream and how motivated you are to get to where you want to be? You make that decision so just go for what you believe. Do not delay anything. There will be never a perfect moment for anything. Just take that leap of faith and get yourself moving.

Just look at all the great scientists, inventors, artists who pursued their dreams and made them happen. Thomas Edison with the light bulb, Alex Bell with the telephone and the many others who did what they felt was required to make peoples lives a bit easier. I am sure that if these two mentioned above didn't pursue their dreams, maybe someone else would have. I am not saying that we wouldn't have the light bulb, or no telephone if it wasn't for these two. Someone else would have probably the same dreams and it would depend on them to reach their destination. Edison tried 1000 times to make his light bulb work, and at the 1001 one time, it did. There will NEVER be success after the first try, but it is your mind that will push forward to the second try, and the third and the thousands of try that might be needed to make it work. Believe in yourself, believe in your product that it will work. Never be afraid, never hesitate, and always be willing to change. Never let insanity kick in by trying the same things over again and expecting different ending results. You need to allow yourself the time and effort and determination to make things work. By changing your thoughts, you can change yourself. New thoughts will open doors to opportunities, and you might change path along the way but at the end, your focus would be the same. Never let go of your dreams, of your passion, of your desire to succeed. Remember that success is not determined by your material assets, but what you did along the way to help others grow and become better people.

The Golden Words For A Successful Life

It is pretty obvious that when we use golden words to our advantage, we get a better chance for a successful life. These words which work like magic push us to keep going and not quit. Yet, too many of us give up too soon when it comes to sticking with a change or a brand-new thing in our lives.
Why do people decide to make a change then just give up? What makes it happen? What is the reason that pushes them to quit on things? Have you ever given up on something in your life?

At times, I know I did. We begin by getting excessively happy and fascinated to chase something we just set for ourselves. It feels like it is worth it, that it will work out, but after a while, we come across barriers standing in our way. Then our emotions get the best of us, the dream fades away, we are disappointed, forget the golden words, and so we give up.

So, how do successful people keep going while the others call it quits? Well, it is because we live in a generation where instant gratification is the 'new style.' Therefore, most people are impatient as they judge that things are just taking too long or getting too complicated.

Patience, time, hard work, sacrifices are a part of the process for any successful life. Failing, making mistakes and going through hell is going to happen no matter what we do. It is in those times of hardship that golden words come even more into play.

In life, many things do not go according to plan. If you fall, get back up. When you stumble, regain your balance. Never give up. Do not quit. Keep going. Those are golden words you could use to push yourself through when you encounter fences, walls, barriers, and obstacles in life.

Using Inspirational Words
We all need such inspirational and motivational words made of gold to start, keep going and reach our goals. The barriers in front of you will not cease to exist, but you sure can prepare yourself. Therefore, you have two choices:

  • Keep going and overcome the walls, obstacles, doubts, and fears you get.
  • Give up, quit and walk away.

So, using any golden words can keep you strong and motivated in any situation in life. Know that your feelings frequently get in the way and try to take control as you face difficulties. These emotions are not doing you any good, so you have to use powerful phrases to get a boost and keep a move on.
The Essential Golden Words
We all use golden words of motivation to drive us further in life or through something we believe in. Do you ever give up when things became too hard? If the answer is yes, why do you?

I know we all did at some point in time. But next time, do not quit. Stay on track. Follow one course until successful. Below are my top golden words for you to use anytime you feel like starting something, pushing through and keeping at it until completion.

Believe in Yourself
The first golden words and the number one rule for success are to believe in yourself. You need to believe beyond doubt that you can do it. Not just on the beginning, but all the way through. So, repeat "I believe in myself" and trust in your abilities.

Next time someone tells you that it is impossible or you cannot do it, prove them wrong. Learn about and copy successful people. It is time to awaken the warrior within you.

Be Determined
The next golden word you should get is "I am determined." You determine to get through barriers that will make you a successful individual. If you can keep going, be determined, push on with your efforts, and do not quit, you will inevitably arrive where you want.

Remember that all you worked so hard for will be gone the instant you choose to quit. So, be like the wolf climbing the hill, coming to get what you came for, and always hungry for more.

Be Grateful
Know that no matter how hard your life now is, the moment will pass. Therefore, be thankful in any circumstances, even the most difficult ones. The phrase "I am grateful" is of those golden words that keep you in a positive state while problems arise.

I know it is not easy, but you have to focus on cultivating gratefulness, and your life will change. Do it even when your life is good or not so good. Do not settle for anything else.

Keep Going
Time is often necessary. Things will not happen overnight. You just have to keep going and find a more efficient or even another way to go forward. The golden words "keep going" should often be used and kept in your repertoire. Focus on them when you have a hard time, think there are no more avenues or feel like giving up.

Do not underestimate the power of these unique words which can help you complete specific goals. Just like the soldier in the film "Hacksaw Ridge" that keeps going all night to save as many of his injured fellow combatants as he can. And says to himself "just one more." Therefore, be the hero of your own story.

Stay Strong
"Stay strong" is another of those golden words you should keep in mind. The road to success is everything but an easy one. If something is harder than you thought, it is time to stay strong and keep going.

Staying strong will help you progress so that over time, things will get easier. Do not be discouraged if things are not going your way. Remember: the goals we are most proud of are the most challenging.

Be Patient is also a Golden Word
Great things take time, but nowadays everyone is a hurry to get. Most people want instant gratification. But remember this golden word: "Be patient." Anything worthwhile creating takes a lot of time, and each thing has a natural time to come into life.

Be Always Inspired
You have to always be inspired, so just imagine your end goal, and continually remember why you are doing what you are doing. Remember what do inspire you in the first place about your goal and focus on the golden words "I am always inspired."

When you begin a project, make a change or create something new, you feel captivated, inspired and all pumped up. After a while, these emotions start to wear off, and you realize it is not that easy. So always keep your inspiration boost up.

Face Fears
Another of those golden words is "I am not afraid, and I face my fears." Know that by facing your fears, you can leave your comfort zone. You can then grow and develop. Once you have obtained each milestone you set for yourself, you will be able to go even further.

Therefore, when you leave your comfort zone, you go beyond your limits and boundaries. You learn new skills and get more knowledge.

The Ultimate Golden Word: Never Giving Up
When you think that things should be easy, but they are harder than you thought, you may feel like quitting. That way, no more effort is necessary. You could give up, and no more problems. Welcome freedom!

One of the most famous golden words you need to have is "I never give up." All successful people do persist, keep going, move on even after failure and never give up. If you copy this mindset, you are well on your way to a successful life.

A Final Suggestion about Golden Words
A final suggestion is that you may have to repeat these golden words to yourself over and over, many times. You just have to do it until you get it becomes a natural part of you. And remember that your present conditions are not your definitive results.

A beautiful thing about golden words is that you can acquire and learn them. Stay strong. And do not be discouraged. Successful people always use the above phrases and keep going no matter what. You do not have to quit anything. Just know that you were born a winner!

Stay Active After PTSD - Overcome Your Post-Trauma Predicament in 5 Easy Steps

Introduction

According to the National Comorbidity Survey Reports over 7.5 million people are diagnosed with post-traumatic stress disorder every year in the United States alone. Most of them suffer from the post-trauma predicament. A predicament is a security system developed by our instinct which prevents us from further trauma. We make a mistake when we think it is an unmanageable disease. Yes, it's definitely a complicated health and mental issue but we can bypass it using simple techniques.

What is a trauma?

A trauma is condensed stress. When an event of our life or a chain of events pile up a huge amount of insecurity within our subconscious mind, we experience a trauma. The major characteristic of a trauma is that it is more of a subconscious affair than a conscious matter. So, to deal with trauma we need to specifically work on our subconscious mind and generate a habit of feeling protected. To do that we need to understand that our subconscious mind is connected to a few things, like- our body, our memory, our environment and the community we live in. If we can manage all these aspects then we'll be able to balance rejuvenate our subconscious mind.

How does post-trauma predicament behave?

The post-trauma predicament is a security system developed by our instinct which protects us from further trauma. Yes, it's a security system that saves our butts. But in this process, it ruins us the other way. In a post-trauma condition, our body cuts the connection between our nerves and muscles. It stops the flow of oxygen in the Neuromuscular junction and we cannot move our limbs. We know this situation as a predicament.

Let's understand this in an example; suppose you want to check your email and you turned on the email app on your mobile phone but there's no internet connection. You can see the "loading circle" on the screen. Your device is trying to synchronize the app with your email account. And, it fails. You try again and the same thing happens. The email app in your mobile phone cannot load the inbox page because the connection between your mobile phone and the internet is broken.

Same thing happens with us when we go through a predicament. We try to do some activity, our brain initiates the process but the muscles cannot perform it because the connection between our nerves and the muscles is broken.

How to stay active?

Most of the P.T.S.D. challengers spend a good amount of time lying in bed and sleeping. They get out of bed, have some food and go back to sleep. If you are one of them then don't feel ashamed. It's totally okay. Your body needs that rest. You need to give yourself a minimum time to recover from the immediate shocks of the trauma.

1. Start with 'No-brain Activities':

(Use your sensory organs)

You should start by doing the 'no brain-activities'. After the immediate shocks of trauma, our body develops a practice of feeling stressed all the time. While feeling stressed there is more blood flow to the back part of our brain (mainly in the hypothalamus) and less blood flow on the frontal lobe. The frontal lobe executes all logical and analytic processes. So, it's difficult for us to perform actions. That's why we should start with no-brain activities.

Use your sensory organs to start working. Use your eyes, your ears, your tongue. You can start by simply watching TV or listening to music.

2. Engagement Is The Key

(Use your hands)

Next, you need to do physical tasks. It's the time when you introduce your hands with your eyes and ears. You need to practice what you have learned so far. Simply start singing, start dancing, try to enact your favorite scenes from your favorite TV shows, start cooking, start drawing, do make ups, start working out, literally anything that involves physical engagement. Just keep in mind you should pick one or two of the tasks you like. Do not overwhelm yourself. If you overwhelm yourself with a bunch of projects and cannot finish any of them then you might end up sabotaging yourself. You can schedule a routine that you'll cook in the morning and paint at night or whatever suits you.

Remember, you still do not have enough blood flow to your logical brain so your brain cannot handle more than one or two tasks. Don't set goals, don't pressurize yourself. Just hang out with your task and try to create a relationship with it.

3. Join a community

(Utilize The Power of Collective Humanity)

Next, you'll need to join a community. A community is always helpful. You get to meet a lot of people dealing with similar challenges like yours. You also meet people who have survived similar situations. You'll get to talk to them, you'll get to listen to them. They'll empathize with your pain. And, most importantly they'll recognize your achievements. Also, when we are around people who support us we feel more protected. It is a good therapy for a PTSD challenger.

So, join a community that shares similar beliefs and interest. The community should be a physical community and not an online community.

4. Start a Venture

(Use your legs)

Starting a venture is more of an advanced stage and probably the most difficult one. Most of the challengers fail to nail this one. But, the fact is if you are able to execute stage 4 you'll never look back. It's like a reward to yourself, it's a gift from the Universe. So, you have to start a venture.

Now, what is venture? Anything that is dedicated to a purpose and requires consistent engagement is a venture. If someone has a family he is a member of a venture, if someone works for a company then he is a member of a venture if someone works for a nonprofit group he is a member of a venture. Now you also need to be a part of a venture.

Either join an existing venture or create a new one. It's the best way to attract gratitude which will bring you recognition and empowerment. And, empowerment is one of the best remedies for a post-trauma condition.

5. Keep the ball rolling

(Maintain Continuity)

Now, you have to maintain the continuity. It is said that most of the trauma challengers fail to stay active because they fail to continue the process. It's a secret how to keep the ball rolling.

a. You Need A Strong 'Why'- define a purpose of your life. It's a way to hack the rules of the Universe. As a human being, we tend to stay active if there are people depending on us. If you can convince yourself that there are a few people depending on you, you'll more likely to stay active than if not.

b. Create a Community of Yours- create a support group of your own. They'll keep you motivated and even help you to start a venture. Your community should contain a core and a buffer group to help you in different situations.

c. Establish your actions with rituals- you have to establish the activities I taught previously. Rituals are the best way to do that. A personal 'Mantra' or 'Japa' can help you. Even lighting up a candle can help you to continue your journey.

JUST BELIEVE IN YOURSELF

It's all about what you believe. A trauma has a two-way effect. It affects our physics and our psyche. We do not have much control over our physics but we can control our psyche. And, by controlling the psyche we can govern our physics to some extent. The goal of a PTSD-challenger should be to get full command over their psyche and guide their physics to recovery.

You Only Live Once So Make The Most Out Of It

We all want to live our lives in every way possible. We want to make the most life has to offer. But then again, there are just so many things that are impeding us from getting the life we deserve.

There is work, money, time, other people and OURSELVES! Yes, may be the reason why you are not living the life you ought to live is because you are not letting yourself be in that kind of life. You are so focused on what should you be rather than what you want to be. It is like not being able to differentiate your wants from your needs. You don't have to have what famous people have to say that you are living a life.

It is not about the things that you don't have that make a wonderful life, rather it is the things that are already in your possession and how you utilize them. Take note, the bests in life come with no price tag.

Be positive. All the time!

Negativity is just around the corner waiting to consume you. Try seeing the positive side of everything because that is only when you have quality thoughts and happiness. Positivity is a choice.

Believe in yourself!

Happiness is when you do something you wanted to do so badly but the thought of failing is making you take a step backward. The first critic of your actions is yourself. You cannot make people see your worth if you don't see it yourself. Remember that you are winner that is why you are here (and not those other sperm cells.)

Be courageous. Take risks!

Big opportunities only knock once so when they do, open your doors. Everything is a gamble because you cannot foresee tomorrow. Don't be afraid to fail because without it, you cannot value the moment when you've finally succeeded. Your what if's will be your greatest midnight hunters.

Be crazy. Violate rules!

Obedience is awesome but rules, like promises, are meant to be broken. Violating rules once in a while is fun, even a simple crossing on the road when the light turns red with the presence of traffic officers will be fun. Just don't get caught and run as fast as you can. The moment you will be in that place again, I am sure as hell that you are going to laugh at yourself.

Be yourself!

You can idolize someone but don't try to be completely like them. You are your own unique self and you don't have to be like someone else to be part of the group. Honesty is the best policy and be honest of your own self. It is so much better to be hated for who you are rather than be loved for what you're not.

How you handle what life throws at you is the secret on how to be successful and how to make your life worth living. Happiness is a choice. As Leo Tolstoy would say, if you want to be happy, be.

What Makes Happiness Knock Into Your Life

Image result for happiness

It is a legendary question of all times: How can happiness make its way into your life? There are several ways and they are not hard to implement. Read on for highlights.

Here are some tips:

1) Happiness actually arrives when you stop looking for it. Stop thinking about it and go ahead in your life, doing your everyday work and enjoying it. Whatever stands in your way, beat the odds and stand upright on your own two feet. Believe in yourself and in the power of prayers. Happiness is bound to knock into your life.

2) Keep yourself motivated every day. One day's motivation doesn't last - you have to keep doing it on a daily basis. Find something to celebrate or call someone for a fun conversation. Make a list of things that motivate you. Choose one every day and do it. You will be happy.

3) Appreciate what you already have. Don't keep looking outside of yourself. Look within you. What are the blessings that you already have? Can you make a list and stick to your PC's monitor where you can see it every day? Add, delete and edit the list and keep looking at it. Appreciating what you already have makes room for more blessings to enter your life and makes you happier.

4) Happiness is a state of mind. If you are feeling remorse and low in spirits, think of the past happy moments in your life. In this way, make a mind shift. And your spirits will soar and you will be a happy person again.

5) Think of how you can be more of value to your family and nation at large. Try thinking two or three ways and expand the list gradually. You can start small for instance, keeping your room tidy the minute you get up from bed and end up large by being the manager of your company. Yes it's possible - say that to yourself. You will have bigger challenges now - fight your way through them and end up victorious. You will have moments of bliss. Think of more ways to overcome your upcoming challenges. And it becomes a game of life, with you winning over them all the time and be full of smiles.

6) You cannot help others without helping yourself. So help your community, your kids and family, friends and colleagues. When you make others happy, you also catch their vibes and become happy. Laugh and play together during free times. Life on this earth is meant to be happy. So find ways to help others to make them happy while you become happy in the process.

Summing up, those are six ways you can boost your happiness level. Try those which resonate with you. And in no time you will be beaming with lovely smiles, drawing others to you and becoming a happier person in their company.

Develop Your Passion, Believe in Yourself

  1. "Don't wait until everything is just right. It will never be perfect. There will always be challenges, obstacles, and less than perfect conditions. So what? Get started now. With each step you take, you will grow stronger and stronger, more and more skilled, more and more self-confident, and more and more successful." --Mark Victor Hansen

Reason Why If You Believe in Yourself, Anything Is Possible

How many times have you wanted something but failed to reach it? Have you tried believing in yourself before achieving the very thing you wanted badly? How does it help? Read on for insights.

Anything you want is already inside you. You just need to manifest it. Now the easiest way to manifest it is by believing in yourself and taking daily actions towards it.

That way your energy aligns with your Higher Power and reaches out to the mighty COSMOS which aligns with your energy and sends you back signals, resulting in manifestation of the very thing you desired earnestly and that very desired element gets delivered to you, provided that you stay detached after letting the Universe know your intention.

Believing in yourself, when nothing else works or the people around you are unsure whether you will ever get your desired element, is often the sole solution.

I myself have tried this technique several times when everything else seemed bleak and dark and I found that it always worked. It is that powerful I should say.

As it goes, the word "Impossible" says "I'm possible", therefore there is nothing impossible in the world. Anything you want or desire badly is sure to manifest only if you can gather up all the courage to believe in yourself.

Once you have manifested on a small scale your desired element, you can start trying bigger stuff in the same way. That is because the way you do little things, you do big things. In this case, you just believe in yourself.

People will be astonished at how fast you achieve your desired elements and hence would like to know your secret. Tell them simply: Believe in yourself and it will work wonders.

From time to time, God, the Almighty will test you and knock you down hard. But in that case as well, never stop believing in yourself and everything will start to fall together once again.

I have had so many low times, disappointments and subtle challenges in my life. But I bounced back again and again just by simply believing in myself and achieving what I desired.

The magical power of believing in yourself is that great because that makes anything possible for you. Now that I have demonstrated and exemplified it, why don't you give it a shot and try it? See how it goes. I believe it's worth the effort.
