What Does the Coming of Tomorrow Mean?

The coming of tomorrow can be just another day or less frequently an unpredictable day. Yet you can have some influence over that to a great extent. How is that? Read on to find out.

For most people coming of tomorrow would mean coming another day of your routine life. But you can change the pattern to some extent because coming of tomorrow does not have to mean always that way.

You can make tomorrow a memorable or victorious day of your life if you plan ahead of time. By preparing and taking actions ahead of time you can make tomorrow a grand day be it a party day, a day to accomplish something great or just simply a day for some family time together. Even little things can bring happiness while monumental stuff will bring triumph.

What is it you desire, you have to take action and plan ahead of time to make tomorrow different. That's the sole secret.

For instance, consider throwing a grand party - you need at least one whole month prior to tomorrow to make the guest list, the shopping list, preparations for ordering food items, arrangements for sitting and decorations for your home and so on. It cannot happen in a single day.

While a family out together depending on how small your children are, it can be organized quickly within a day's notice. You just need to plan whether it's a park to play with your children you will go or to a restaurant to eat out together. Either way, it is easy to plan and organize and yet tomorrow can be a great fun day for you.

On the other hand, if you are trying to accomplish something great, say your PhD Dissertation, well that would take weeks of practice and rehearsal for best results. You have to present your presentation in front of a committee of people and other audience; you need to have your thesis compiled and assembled into a formal proper book and probably you have to burn the soft copy of your thesis on a CD or two. That way you have well planned. Additionally you have to prepare yourself well for giving proper answers to the questions posed by the audience on your dissertation day which happens to be tomorrow. If it all goes well, there you have it - you are conferred upon a PhD degree- something of great triumph.

Sometimes coming of tomorrow may be as unpredictable as losing your job, demise of someone close or simply a bad day. Try to repel the negative energies as much as you can and make it bearable for you. It always will happen once in a blue moon and therefore, you don't have much to take to heart most of the time.

On the other hand, why does it have to be routine work for another tomorrow? Simply because people don't plan to do anything special or do anything to make it special. Next time you think of tomorrow, let your creative juices flow in and plan a great day. Why does it have to be a day of boredom and drudgery? You can make it a beautiful memorable day if you only want it to be so with a burning desire. Think about it next time before tomorrow comes. It's worth giving it time and thought.

How to Feel As If Life Is on Your Side for Once

The more introverted you are, the more you feel like staying inside and thinking negative. Let me cheer you up by a single comment which goes like this: "You are not what has happened to you - you are what you choose to become." Now how do you feel the Universe is on your side and not otherwise? Read on for highlights.

Get yourself outside of home and start walking around the block. You will see children playing and licking lollipops. You will see guardians alongside them. You will also see couples in love hanging around. You will watch the green trees and the beautiful flowers that have blossomed. When you observe these things, your mind automatically gets the positive trigger and starts thinking a little positive.

Go to the nearest coffee shop and while you sip your coffee, read the novel you have brought with you in the sunny afternoon. Doing this makes you feel good and you hardly think the Universe is out there to get you.

As the sun starts to set, watch the beautiful scenery from a place where you can appreciate it fully. You have taken in all the positive things of your outside world as much as you can. Now time to head back home.

When you go home, continue with your reading for a while. And then stop. Call your favorite friend to cook and have dinner together.

That would be fun. You will be cutting vegetables, meat like beef or chicken and others. You have the light spices ready and so are the saucepans and fry pans. Cook a pot of rice as well. You are going to have a good, healthy dinner. While your friend helps you with the cooking, you laugh and crack jokes. Where is the scope to feel life is acting against you? You feel for once everything is going your way. You relish the dinner with your friend and after a little chitchat together, your friend leaves.

But you plan ahead how you are going to spend the rest of the evening without feeling negative or lonesome. Several good ideas will be:

a) Continue with your novel

b) Tender your garden

c) Write the plot of a stunning story

d) De-clutter your wardrobe

e) Make some phone calls to your dearest ones such as, boyfriend, relatives, parents, siblings and even some charity home to make a donation.

Doing one or more of these five things you will have spent the rest of the evening delightfully as well. Until you retire to bed, do a few minutes' reading on your novel and fall asleep, feeling exhausted and spent out in order to wake up afresh the following morning with full vigor.

Therefore, this is how you take one day at a time and feel the Universe is fully on your side for once, while you do and act everything in your own sweet ways.

5 Reasons Why People Fail To Achieve Their Goals

There are a lot of people that never achieve anything. Then there are those that fail to get past their initial attempts at gaining leverage in the goals that they have. Goal setting is an absolutely important thing in life. Without this, you'll find that you cannot go anywhere in life. Sure, there are some that seem to scrape by, but if you're honest with yourself, you'll find that this is an important aspect of your present, as well as your future. If you want to get ahead, consider the following 5 reasons why people fail to achieve their goals and learn from the mistakes of others.

1. They Don't Plan Ahead

First and foremost, people don't plan ahead. They simply jump into things and they expect ease from the outcome. There are also others that just assume that they know it all, so they go ahead and chase whatever the end result they assume will manifest. Without a plan, you're going to find failure hits you hard, and fast.

2. There Are No Milestones To Cross

When you're going forward in life, you need to have milestones. Otherwise, you are going to be chasing a marathon. Most people can't run a marathon. When runners go for this, they first train with milestones of endurance, then they go for the big one. No athlete in any sport starts with professional level focus. They work at it, setting milestones, and then crossing them over and over again to get to a new level.

3. They Quit Before Results Manifest

People quit nearly everything they try. The percentage of people that have failed at something can seem astronomical. You may be one of the millions that have faced off against this. The reason why many quit is not so much because they aren't trying, it's because they don't see results, so they just assume they're doing something wrong, or that it's not worth their time.

4. Quitting After One Failed Attempt

One and done. This is a process that happens a lot. Someone tries something, fails, and then they never try again. This is an awful thing to subscribe to. If you chase this, you are guaranteed never to get to a place of greatness. Simple as that. If you want to gain victory in anything you do, sometimes, you have to go beyond one failure, and even three or four failures.

5. No Support System In Place

Perhaps the biggest reason why people fail to achieve their goals, aside from not putting in the effort for goal setting, is their lack of support system. If you have no support system in place, you will not make it. Everyone needs encouragement, whether it's from a friend, spouse, or just about anyone in their life. Without a support system in place, you will not be able to gain traction in anything that you do.

As you can see, there are 5 things that can be isolated in regards to failure. To overcome, learn from these, and work towards goal setting, milestones, and keep pushing. The more you push, the more you'll learn, and that's the key to success.

5 Ways to Get the Most Out of Your Mornings

Take the stress out of your morning routine

Do you feel stressed during the day? Always feel like you're rushing around playing catch-up? The culprit may not be your day. It may be your morning.
The tone we set for ourselves in the morning sets the tone for the rest of our day. If you start your day feeling rushed and unsettled, chances are you're going to feel the same way when you get to work and throughout the rest of the day. So anything you can do to start your day on a calm, happy, and stress-free note is well worth the effort
... and it does take effort.
Productive people are not effortlessly productive; it requires planning, commitment, and excellent time management. The good news is that what works for them can work for you. Here are five of the most commonly used strategies for highly productive people who want to get the most out of their mornings and set the tone for a calm, productive mind-set to get them through their hectic days.

1. Plan ahead. Prepare for your day the night before. Unless you're single, this doesn't necessarily mean preparing only for yourself. In addition to picking out your clothes and organizing/packing everything you'll need for the next day, you also should plan as much as possible for those you take care of. If you have children, help them get their things together the night before as well. Not only will this make for a less frantic morning, it will teach the kids good habits that will help them as they grow. If you or they take lunch to work or school, make as much of it as you can the night before, or if your children are old enough, have them do it (see #5). Get home work backpacked and school projects put together/ready to go before going to bed. Some people even get breakfast started the night before, such as making overnight crock pot oatmeal, or putting together protein shake ingredients in a blender the night before and refrigerating. The more you take care of before you go to bed, the less you'll have to do in the morning.
2. Get your blood flowing. Most experts recommend a morning exercise routine. However, a structured work-out program is not everyone's cup of tea nor is it the only way to get your blood flowing and your mind ready for the challenges of the day. If you're not the work-out type, take your dog (or yourself if you don't have a dog) on a brisk walk around the neighbourhood. The fresh air and sunlight will stimulate hormones that will lift your mood and give you energy throughout the day. If walking isn't your thing, try turning on some up-beat tunes and shake it up as you're dressing or making breakfast.
3. Eat. The best way to start your day is by fuelling your mind and body with a healthy breakfast. We don't expect our cars to run on empty. Why would we expect our bodies to do it?
4. Don't let technology derail you. In the tech-frenzied world that we live in today, it's rare to find someone who doesn't wake up and immediately (or almost immediately) check their gadgets for messages. Unless your job requires this, my advice is to resist the pull. It's very easy to get derailed by emails and text messages, which will lead to unnecessary rushing to get out the door on time. Getting out the door late sets off an entire series of bad situations, including speeding (dangerous) and arriving late to work (stressful), so why set yourself up for that? Check your work email at work and your personal email on breaks. Rarely does something so urgent happen during the night that you have to know about it first thing in the morning (and if the message is that urgent, it wouldn't be sent electronically anyway).
5. Delegate. High-achievers tend to be poor delegators because they usually can do what needs to be done better and faster than others. However, not everything needs to be done better or faster. Does it really matter if your bed or your child's bed isn't made perfectly? Of course not, so delegate this task to your children or your partner. Many time-consuming household chores can be delegated the night before or in the morning, so that you have time to do the things that require your involvement.
By developing a calm, productive pre-game routine to start your day, you give yourself the best chance of having the same kind of day. Here's to a great morning!

5 Ingredients for Startup Success

Ready to be your own boss? These smart keys to starting your own business will make your vision of independence a reality.

You’ve decided it’s time to start your own business, but you’re worried you don’t have the assets, capital, contacts and experience necessary to get it off the ground. Relax. Now’s your chance—with time on your side—to lay the groundwork so your new enterprise can start off at maximum advantage. Sitting at the kitchen table with a laptop or pen and paper doesn’t cost anything.

Plan Ahead

The first thing to do is outline the opportunity. You need a strategy that covers not only opening the doors but bringing traffic through them for the first couple of years, with a wide range of contingency plans.
Your first step: drawing up a business plan. Why do you have to do this? For one thing, it becomes a guide to keep you on track and not distracted, but the real importance is getting you to think through the necessary steps and conduct research in the field you’re entering.
This doesn’t have to be a huge document covering every possible detail. You’ll need to describe the product or service you plan to offer, with some background on the industry. Other essentials include an introduction to your leadership team with mini-biographies and an outline and timeline of your strategy to start turning a profit.
In the business plan, it’s crucial to identify and profile potential customers and explain why they would migrate to you from existing commercial channels. What makes your offer compelling? What’s a likely percentage of early adopters?
You’ll need to test those assumptions. The New York Times outlines a smart next step: “Identify a list of likely customers and call them,” avoiding friends and acquaintances. The people you’ll call should give you an honest assessment, and you can get a wider-angle view through the use of online survey services like Constant Contact or SurveyMonkey
Your work here is a smaller version of what big companies do when they launch IPOs—and it means honestly presenting the full range of possible outcomes (even the negative ones) and a comprehensive assessment of the market you’re entering. If disruptive market changes loom on the horizon, mention them in your business plan. Just as writers producing book proposals outline the existing works on the subject, you’ll need to make a list of competitors along with the strengths and weaknesses of each. The deeper your understanding of the market, the better. You don’t want to be surprised by what should have been obvious.

Find the Funds

The next part is the hardest in at least two ways—most people hate raising money, and in the current economic climate it’s darned difficult. You’re probably going to have to reach beyond the comfort zone of friends and family (though don’t rule them out).
If you’re determined to own 100 percent of your business, it helps to have deep pockets—think of a worst-case figure for how much money you’ll need, then add some zeroes to it. Many great companies have been launched on a bold entrepreneur’s credit card. According to the Pioneer Institute, borrowing against your credit cards and loans from relatives are the two most common financing models for startups with five or fewer people. You’ve heard of a little company called Google? Sergey Brin and Larry Page started it in 1998 by spreading their modest costs across three credit cards. You can also borrow against your assets, but that’s risky—in truth, just about all financing is risky, and all new businesses are a gamble.
The crowdfunding revolution has created more avenues than ever to secure capital, but there is plenty of competition on popular sites such as Kickstarter and IndieGogo, so make sure you’ve created a pitch that will pay if you decide to go that route and be prepared to compensate your sponsors in at least some small way.
Assuming you’ve got the money, you’ll still have to decide what kind of business this is—a sole proprietorship, a partnership or a corporation—and file the necessary paperwork (either with a lawyer or by yourself). And you’ll need a memorable name that’s legally clear. The current trend seems to be colorful phrases that have nothing to do with the actual business—Pandora for a music service, Yelp for restaurant reviews and Uber for an online taxi service.

Love It or Leave It

Given the very real possibility of failure, does it help if your new venture is a labor of love? Absolutely, because you’ll likely be starting with a base of knowledge and enthusiasm that large companies in the field sometimes lack. But you can’t let your passion for the field create the illusion of a business opportunity where none exists. A classic example is the passionate cook who starts a restaurant in an over-saturated market.
Still, don’t underestimate the power of doing something you really care about. Dawn (a physician’s assistant) and Brian (a mechanical engineer) Riesett weren’t horticulturalists when they launched their Maryland-based Dreamland Christmas Tree Farm in 2004. “We knew nothing about Christmas trees,” Dawn told the Frederick News-Post. “It was a dream we came up with.” This was no walk in the park—the Riesetts had to learn about tree diseases, fungi and bagworms, which they had to pick off of trees by hand. Drought killed their seedlings one year. But they persevered and are still selling trees and wreaths today.

Learn from Life

Kimberly Catlett of Boise, Idaho, had plentiful business experience—she spent 15 years in management and marketing. But to find a great small-business idea, she needed only to look down at her very petite size 5½ feet. It was difficult to find shoes that fit, so she quit her job and developed the Bella Modi brand, which markets kits that allow the buyer to custom-assemble shoes into different styles.
Don’t defer your dream just because the money pile isn’t high enough. Ann Marie Sastry, a former University of Michigan engineering professor, had nothing but a concept and an eight-page PowerPoint presentation when she sat down to create her solid-state battery company, Sakti3. What she did have was conviction and clear goals. Finally, following years of after-hours work, she quit her tenured position to create next-generation cells for a receptive auto industry. The company has landed $30 million in venture funding, including capital from big players such as Khosla Ventures and General Motors.
Confidence is key, and it helps if you’re willing to gamble. “All you ever get is a reasonable chance to succeed,” Sastry says. “If you only do the things that are assured of success, you’d never do anything at all.”

Don’t Be Closed-Minded

A lesson we can glean not only from Sheldon Adelson but also from Elon Musk is to follow new opportunities wherever they may lead. Adelson might have stayed in computers, a subject he knew well, but in 1988 he saw an opening and bought the aging Sands casino for $128 million. A gaming empire followed. Similarly, Musk took his $165 million windfall from the sale of PayPal, and rather than starting another online business in his comfort zone, he followed a longtime interest and began SpaceX, then invested in (and took over) a struggling electric car startup, Tesla Motors. In both cases he combined business potential with personal passion.
Tesla is soaring now, but the business has had many setbacks and negative headlines along the way. Failure, as Musk put it in an interview, is always an option. If things are not failing, he reasons, you’re not innovating enough.
Do the lessons of billionaires like Musk also apply to people starting small, even part-time, businesses? Some do and some don’t. Raising money will loom as far more important for the fledgling entrepreneur, and establishing credibility without a track record can be a challenge. But any new business faces doubters, and Tesla’s success is inspirational on any scale.
The odds of your venture not making it are indeed fairly high, but don’t believe every negative thing you hear. The Small Business Administration reports that “about half of all new establishments survive five years or more, and about one-third survive 10 years or  more.”
The longer you’re in business, the better your odds at staying in business. Getting over the startup hump is the critical challenge faced by any newly hatched entrepreneur.
