Road to Success - How to Drive Faster Living by Faith!

Living by faith will help you drive faster on the road to success than anything else; it influences every area of life. Nevertheless, understanding how faith works is vital. The principles are simple yet mind-boggling. For a long time, I complicated the matter. This article unearths what I learned along the journey.

  • Believe you have it before you have it to get it.

Therefore, I say to you, "Whatever things you ask when you pray believe that you will receive them, and you'll have them. (Mark 11:24). When you pray, you must take what you asked for. Faith is now - not tomorrow, next week, or next year.

  • Tell it the way you want it to be.

In any event, do not tell it like it is. Faith calls things that be not as though they were (as it is written, "I have made you a father of many nations) before God whom he believed, and who raises the dead, and calls things that do not exist as though they did- Romans 4:17).

  • Put pressure on the circumstance by using the Word.

Recall how Jesus resisted Satan by repeating what was written. Imitate his behavior.

  • Keep hearing to build up your faith.

So then faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God (Romans 10:17). Do not limit your hearing to the message given by the pastor on Sunday morning. The more you hear - the more your faith will increase.

  • Meditate on the Word.

This Book of the Law must not depart from your mouth; but thou shall meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success (Joshua 1:8). I have utilized Psalm 32:8 (I will instruct you and teach you the way you should go) and Isaiah 48:17 (I am the Lord your God who teaches you to profit who leads you in the way you should go) relentlessly for making business decisions.

  • Block all unbelief.

Why do you think Jesus removed all unbelievers from the house before he raised Peter's mother-in-law or the little girl from the dead? He only took three disciples into the house with him. Meditate on that.

  • Stay on the wagon.

Faith is consistent, and faith is aggressive. Therefore, apply it in all situations.

Talking to the Angels

A tiny baby's smile while sleeping is often referred to as 'talking to the angels' and maybe it's true. Who are these angels that entertain our newborns? If they talk to us as when we are a tiny baby, where do they go as we grow older, like us?

That 'higher consciousness' many try to connect with is also the 'parking angel' that guides us to the perfect, safe parking spot in a crowd, the one who whispers, "take a different route today" that seemingly knows the regular route could have been disastrous for us. The angels that surround us, whisper in our ear, raise alarms for no apparent reason are with us from the very beginning. Newborns have not been told they are not real and readily recognize them, especially during sleep time when we enjoy a different conscious state of mind. Sleep makes the world go away, for a time. But young children and certainly adults are wiser... aren't they?

As children we knew what we believed was real, were never afraid of dreaming and surely not afraid of voicing those big dreams. And then, a joker name reality strode onto the scene in the form of trusted adults who warned us that those things were not real, we were imagining or even being dishonest about those angels, dreams and odd stories. What we 'knew' quickly became filtered through the lens of cynical adults who had long since ceased to believe. But they were wrong.

The practice of dashing dreams has been instilled in most adults; we become adept at being cynical and disbelieving of all that cannot be processed through the filters of what we now believe. Is it any wonder that so few dare to dream, and believe in them? There is a very simple explanation of who those 'angels' are; they are parts and parcels of you, the parts that remain with you always, yet not enclosed in the human body. If all the parts of you were contained in your body you would appear just like an angel, a being of light. The human body cannot contain all the parts of who we are.

The parts that remain outside of us are identifiable; the innate that surrounds and protects each of us, warning of danger around you, illnesses that require attention and people in your surroundings whose intentions are potentially harmful. They are the 'parking angel' the sixth sense, the intuitive part of you, the higher self or higher consciousness imparting information that is always benevolent because it comes from a part of you that exists in a higher consciousness.

Everyone who still believes in dreams, dreaming and the ability to reach their highest goals is highly intuitive. They have parted ways with those warnings about what is real or not real, understanding that some people will consciously choose to sleep through their life experience; but not them. They have reestablished the connection to those parts of themselves and rely on the inner guidance they receive. Intuitive they are, because they listen and believe in those gut feelings (the most reliable, incoming from the innate) the sense of just knowing, or an answer to an issue received in dream time.

We call them intuitive or psychic because they know things we seemingly cannot know. Intuitive people understand that the same higher consciousness that surrounds all of us is willing to communicate with those willing to assist in delivering the important messages. Can you image how much better life could be if everyone reestablished the line of communication with the best part of themselves? Fear would become a thing of the past and dreams would soon be a new reality. Just imagine!

Bullying Made Me Believe I Was Ugly (By May Esohe Olusola)

BULLYING PLANTED SEEDS OF SHYNESS

I found this throwback picture of me taken in 1987. I was 20 years old, painfully shy, void of confidence; but most importantly, a product of mental bullying that took root in my life and molded me into believing what I definitely wasn't. As ridiculous as this sounds, I used to believe I was very ugly and here is why.

I was born with a pronounced red birthmark on the left side of my face. Back then, it was the first thing you saw if you were meeting me for the first time. I was very conscious of it and used to feel like I was from another planet, because no one seemed to have a face like mine. The kids in school didn't help matters with their constant showers of horrible names to hurt my self-esteem, like: "Red-faced Monster," "Ugly Girl," "Map of the World," and "Your-Mother-Must-Have-Slapped-You-With-a-Red-Spoon.".

These taunts laid the foundation for many pity parties. "Why me?" was the question I used to put before God, and whenever my mother came home from work and saw I'd been crying, she would try her best to convince me I was beautiful. Her words had a way of gently draining away the malicious words I had suffered. Thank God for a mother who kept speaking life into me with statements like: "You are beautiful," "You are going to be great," and "You are somebody." This became a cycle, till I slowly started believing there might be some truth in my doting mother's words. I gained a tiny bit of confidence and was at the point of figuring out a permanent way to dismiss the bullying.

AN ADULT UNKNOWINGLY JOINED THE BULLYING CYCLE

I was almost there when one day my teacher wanted to get my attention. However, instead of calling me by name, she called out: "Come here, Red Face." You can't imagine the shock that bolted from head to toe. She had betrayed my innocent mind to such an extent that I am fighting back tears as I write this. For an adult to confirm what the kids were daily saying proved to me that I was indeed a red-faced monster. Her words had added salt to a wound that caused unimaginable heartache for years.

Thank God for special friends back then. They celebrated and encouraged me in very memorable ways. By the time I graduated from the university, it was not as bad, but still bad. I just did not find myself worthy. This belief followed me into adulthood, creating some painful chapters that robbed me of many opportunities. In no time, my self-esteem graduated from low to invisible.

My turning point came the moment the word of God took root in me and I resolved to reject the fear of rejection and believe in myself no matter what. The light bulb of revelation had finally come on. I made a conscientious effort to start the change from within me. In no time, the layers and excess baggage that weighed me down for many years started falling off one day at a time.

A BETTER PERSON EMERGED FROM THE DUNGEON OF BULLYING

Today, I can look in the mirror and say to myself,"Thank You Lord; I am beautiful!" I truly appreciate the way God made me. I love myself, I do what makes me happy and permit what enters my space. (If you don't guard your space, shenanigans will guard it for you.) If God wasn't on my side, who knows the other options I would have sought to medicate the pain bullying birthed in me? No matter what you are going through, the first step to recovery is believing in yourself. Forget what the world says about you. You are fearfully and wonderfully made.

It is imperative we form and maintain the habit of using words wisely. What we say to others matters a great deal. We can make or break ourselves and others with our choice of words. Let us be a part of putting an end to all forms of bullying today.

4 Steps to Becoming Free and Happy

Whenever someone tells you that your way is blocked by discouragement or confusion, check over these 4 Steps. It won't be long before you will find the barrier at your back and find yourself on the open highway once more.

1. A sincere desire for inner change

You must really want to be different. Your first desire should be for the truth itself, not for ideas that please you by backing up what you already believe. The earnest man dares to sail uncharted seas. When he finally reaches port, he finds that this new world, though strange at first, is what he really sought all along. You can change the thing that is wrong in your life. You just need to be prepared and ready to do it. Whenever you develop the desire, you can take away from your life what is defeating it. The capacity for reformation and change lies within.

2. Contact with workable principles

This means we must be in contact with some sort of genuine help. This can be a person who has already set himself at liberty, it can be a book, or it can be a matured way of thinking. You must be aware of counterfeit; you must not accept something as true merely because it appears so to you. You must make every offered idea prove itself to be a workable principle. You must personally verify everything. The road to happiness lies in simple principles: do what interests you and that you can do well, and put your whole soul into it every bit of energy and ambition and natural ability you have.

3. Self honesty

Genuine courage consistent in being honest with yourself. What makes men free is for the most part is the truth which men prefer not to hear. The really heroic person is one who is willing to be wrong for the present in order to be right later on. But honesty does not mean that you change your viewpoints really for the sake of change; it means you explore your viewpoints in order to separate truth from falsity. Then truth dissolves falsity. There is nothing of more practical use than self honesty.

4. Persistence

You may be sincere, and you may have found a source of genuine help. And you may also have a full supply of self honesty. By adding one more thing, then you have all you need for swift strides forward; it is an old-fashioned and admirable quality called persistence. You must keep going. As the New Testament phrases it, he must not fall by the wayside. Persistence pays. Persistent people begin their success where others end in failure.

To be happy, rather than say "if only" substitute instead the words "next time". Success consists of getting up just one more time after you fall.

Entrepreneurs average 3.8 failures before realizing a final success. What sets the successful apart is amazing persistence. There are a lot of people out there who have good and marketable ideas, but pure entrepreneurial types almost never accept defeat.

The line between failure and success is so fine that we are often on the line and do not know it. How many a man had thrown up his hands when a little more effort, a little more patience, would have achieved success. A little more persistence, a little more effort, and what seemed like a hopeless failure may turn into glorious success

If Only You Believe - Why It Matters

Human nature may be defined by two groups, those whose focus is on the probabilities in life and those who dare to focus on the possibilities. The possibility group is always focused on what can be possible while the probability group denies the existence of anything they cannot see, touch or test. For many in the latter group extraordinary events, even miracles are often pooh poohed and mocked. Impossible, they say! And for them it may be.

Our planet has recently entered the outer bands of multi-dimensional energy. The possibility believers will notice the changes first. Things that others called impossible begin to manifest before their eyes! Information and events they have longed for and dreamed of can soon become reality as cures to difficult diseases seem to appear in totally unexpected ways. Information will arrive to those who are seeking answers even though they may not recognize the source, they simply know this may work; and it will. Aging will be dramatically slowed, not by fancy products but by people who learn to move into this new energy. Life spans will be lengthened while the quality of life is greatly enhanced. The physician within will be heard and acknowledged. All these possibilities are likely to be deemed as nonsense, impossible even, by those probability believers. Why does it matter what you believe?

Look carefully at events that have transpired in your own life. Look closely at events that happened to others, events that caused you to search deeply for how it could have happened. Those are the times you were confronted by the differences in what you believe. Colonel Sanders is a great example. This senior citizen may have been the only believer in possibilities, yet he persevered forward to become a household name. The same is true of Mary Kay, a host of artists, authors and even world leaders. Their legacy is defined by what they were willing to believe; they became a part of the rich history of world events. Imagine how different history would have been written if not for these possibility believers!

What is the real difference in these two groups? Probability believers are severely limited to what they can achieve or become in life. Everyone's opportunities in life are limited to what they can accept as reality, now or in the future. Those who rebuff possibilities are limited to what they already know, what they already believe is possible. Their focus does not extend beyond 'practicality' unless they are forced to seek a miracle. This often happens in doctors' offices and hospitals where the unthinkable has arrived on their horizon and crashed into their lives. No one knows anything that can help a desperate situation and suddenly, they look beyond the probabilities which are unacceptable.

People who are creative and in touch with harmony and the energy around them are the strongest examples of possibility believers and they affect our lives. They are always on a quest for something new; a new design, a new idea, a new way forward. They can become strong problem solvers because they routinely look beyond the obvious. Benjamin Franklin, Albert Einstein and Thomas Edison are among the more famous of those who affected our world because they dared to believe in what might be possible.

If you are willing to remove the self-imposed limits on what might be possible, dispose of the idea that others may find you frivolous or uninformed, you will be poised to take a leap of faith directly into energy that is more magical than we ever dared believe! Obstacles can easily be disposed of while solutions arrive unexpectedly. Miracle shall follow miracle and wonders shall never cease, if only you can believe.

The Magical Life

You have got to believe in something inside and outside of yourself, I realize that, for life to mean anything. But, here is the catch to that simple sentence: You have got to think for yourself about what you believe in, you have got to know for yourself if it works or not. The responsibility to lead yourself in where you go falls on you as it falls on me. Sure, I could write in a less blunt way about this subject. Indeed, though, I would genuinely feel I am doing you wrong and creating bad cause and effect for myself (Bad Karma). So, I am going to endeavor here to tell the honest truth, and create good cause and effect for myself (Good Karma).

When we look at things with a different and more conscientious consciousness and genuinely think for ourselves, everything becomes easy not to take for granted, even a normal church day on Sunday becomes wonderfully magical where God or Intuition speaks through normal situations that take on a whole new meaning, right down to prayer and affirmations of faith and belief. So, I will skip to this look for the magical in all things normal and strange, and magic there will be, right down to simply and consciously enjoying a normal day in genuine ways that does not take things for granted. To lift a line from singer Paul Simon, medicine is magical and magical is art, and I genuinely believe magic can be found anywhere, everywhere and all the time if we just genuinely perceive it, act on it, affirm it and appreciate it.

When I think about all of the above, I cannot take a thing for granted, not even my relationship with my Mom. Although things do get a little contentious between us at times seemingly with small arguments and little disagreements. They blow over, and I love her very much and all and I genuinely respect her and listen to her. In fact her advice is the greatest magical medicine for me, because she gives me a better slant on things I otherwise would not have.

Beyond that, I genuinely take nothing for granted though, not even "given realities". I truly know what it means when it is said in the Christian King James version of the Bible, The Book of Matthew, Matthew Chapter thirteen, Verse twelve For whosoever has, to him shall be given, and he shall have more abundance: but whosoever has not, from him shall be taken away even that he has. Sure, I edited that saying a bit. Indeed, though, you get that picture. It could say: To those who take things for granted without genuine appreciation that which they have will genuinely leave or be taken away, to those who do not take things for granted with genuine appreciation, they will genuinely get better and more. I reversed the order of the verse too, because of something I believe fully about life. If we do not get "it", we never get "it" until we get "it". If we do genuinely get it, we can grow genuinely.

I spelled out a lot here, some will get it, some will not. But, all I know is that the value is there, and I do not take what I write for granted. With that reality humbly and consciously given, I can say what I mean and mean what I say.

Ask Yourself, Why, You WANT, To Be, You?

I want to be me. These famous song lyrics, although, compelling, inspiring, and motivating, fail to answer, the key question, which is, why, you WANT to be, you! Groucho Marx told us, It's a matter of mind, over matter. If you don't have a mind, it doesn't matter! Few of us, seem, ready, willing, and able, to, truly, proceed, in an introspective, objective manner, and attempt, to give ourselves, a check - up, from the neck - up. With that in mind, this article will attempt to briefly, consider, examine, review, and discuss, using the mnemonic approach, what this means and represents, and, why, the happiest, healthiest people, are those, who take the time, and make the effort, to learn, what makes them tick, and are able to be happy, with themselves, etc.

1. Who (are you); what (you think and believe); where (your personal vision): Who do you want to be, and are you, close to, being that person? How might you be happier, and more content/ self - satisfied? When was the last time, you focused on, what you, personally think, and believe, and proceeded, with the independence, to be, your own person, rather than simply, trying to fit - in, with any particular mold, society sets and creates? How important, to you, is your personal, vital vision, and where, do you aim, to be?

2. Attitude; attention; aptitude: When, one possesses, and proceeds, with a true, positive, can- do, attitude, he looks, at ways, to achieve, instead of, reasons, why he can't (or, it's impossible)! How one focuses his attention, often, determines, his results, and judgments! When this is combined, with the commitment, to, develop, the finest possible, skill - set, and well - developed, aptitude, you become able, to achieve, to the best of your potential!

3. Needs; nurture; nuances: When was the last time, you considered, thoroughly, your specific needs, and tried to nurture them, by coordinating your actions, with, what you seek, and desire? Rather than, merely trying to be accepted, by fitting - in, to the group, around you, develop a willingness to accept and use the nuances, which most appeal, to you, personally!

4. Timely; trends; truthful: It won't help you, if you lie, to yourself, so be, truthful, discover your true strengths, and weaknesses, as well as what makes you happiest! Never procrastinate, but commit, to, consistently, proceed, in a well - considered, timely manner! Make today's trends, your friends, by learning and analyzing them, and focusing, on your best, personal path!

What do you hope, and WANT, to be? If you won't, no one else, will care as much, as you do!

How To Believe In The Power Of Infinite Possibilities

Life Can Change When We Least Expect It

Warning! This article may not appeal to you if you are not open to entertaining the likelihood of infinite possibilities. You may even find evidence why the universe is based on science, and mathematics to disprove infinite possibilities. I don't intend to persuade you into believing my point of view, for that is the least of my intentions. I hope you will come to see that infinite possibilities are conceivable and life is anything but fixed. Before we go on, I want you to reflect on moments throughout your life when a situation occurred beyond the realm of normal. Perhaps it was a chance encounter of a love interest you reunited with after decades, or you were one of a thousand applicants for a job interview and were offered the position, despite interviewing poorly for the job. Whatever it was, recall the experience as best you can and see if you can get a sense of how you felt at the time.

There are numerous examples that prove infinite possibilities existed throughout history. To mention them here means reciting what hundreds of other articles have already written. So it begs the question: what does infinite possibilities mean to you? Where does it begin and end? For example, is it in the realm of miraculous healings or otherworldly events? Infinite possibilities for me is associated with a mindset that anything can happen within the fabric of reality. I have experienced moments over the years which helped me realise that sometimes life can change when we least expect it. Perhaps you've witnessed this yourself, whether it was an event that worked in your favour or otherwise? One example that took place two decades ago related to my father who was ill at the time and given a diagnosis by his doctors he wouldn't survive until the end of the week. He not only survived but lived another five years. It was then I realised mankind has limited knowledge of what is possible within the scope of a greater intelligence. I'm not sure what you call this intelligence, if you call it anything at all. I prefer to call it God, co-creating the circumstances of my life within the container of free will. It is important we abide by our beliefs but also be willing to upgrade them when or if new information becomes available.

Keep An Open Mind And Don't Hold Firm To Fixed Ideas

Some say infinite possibilities is nothing more than coincidence, providence, luck or chance. I recognise it as a state of mind more than an event or experience. Therefore, we needn't believe in them but keep an open mind and look for evidence when they arise. I don't know about you but I'm inclined to be impartial about endless possibilities existing than remain close-minded because my belief system does not agree with it. I would rather change my mind when new information comes to light that disproves my earlier beliefs. I think this is important because we mustn't hold firmly to a belief system just because it has been the case for our entire life. We ought to upgrade our beliefs and perception of reality as new information comes to hand. What are your thoughts on this? Are you open to new information or do you hold on to fixed beliefs because you don't want to be wrong? I think the key is to be mindful of what we believe or not believe while recognising that our earlier beliefs may be incomplete.

As an example of this, I was recently reading about the South African scientist, Prof Tim Noakes, who for decades espoused the high-carbohydrate diet. It wasn't until he was diagnosed with type II diabetes he publicly stated that his understanding of nutrition was incomplete and thus he adopted a low carbohydrate/ketogenic style diet. Irrespective of what you think about Prof Noakes, it took a great deal of courage to declare he was wrong and change his stance because he had a lot to lose by way of credibility. I highlight Prof Noakes as one example of somebody willing to keep an open mind and not hold firm to fixed ideas. We ought to accept that anything is possible even that which was impossible in the past. This relates to our health, finances, relationships, career, etc. We should entertain the possibility that sometimes life can weave its magic and a situation can resolve itself or improve beyond our understanding. Because when we believe in infinite possibilities, we are open to the notion that life works through us on a higher dimension. Knowing this, I invite you to think back on the experiences I asked you to recall earlier. Write three lessons you gained from the experiences and how they shaped your life. Could you have foreseen these events in hindsight? If not, could you entertain the notion that a greater universal intelligence may function within the backdrop of your life? You see, being open to infinite possibilities means to accept life exactly as it is without preconceived ideas. This my friends, proves the universe is a mysterious entity because as Deepak Chopra once said: "Be comfortable with and embrace paradox, contradiction and ambiguity. For uncertainty is the womb of creativity."

Message From the Universe: A Path That Only You Can Take

Woman Wearing Black Cardigan Sitting on Black Mesh-back Rolling Armchair and Using Silver Imac

"You do realize, don't you, that there have been others - in lifetimes, millennia, and civilizations past - who have been to some of the same "places" you've been to? Yet, they got so scared they lost control, turned away, or flat out quit.

Yep, and they surround you now in the unseen. Your greatest admirers.

Thanks,
The Universe"

If I had to tell you that 97% of every person who tried to start a venture on their own, failed at it and gave up, you wouldn't believe me. Unfortunately, this statistic is correct. You would be surprised on how many have brilliant and creative ideas, have the know how to get it started but somewhere along the way, they felt overwhelmed with the responsibilities and just gave up on their dreams. They felt they weren't good enough, or smart enough or anything else to move forward. At the first sign of imminent obstacles, they just gave up. No business will succeed the first time around, unless you create a vaccine for the AIDS virus and introduce it to the world. Not sure how pharmaceutical companies will accept you in their circle, but I would recommend you to go somewhere and hide as they will want to track you down. Either way, you need to put all your energy and belief in everything you do in life. There is no way around it.

As for the path you need to take, it is really up to you. Would you prefer being like the majority of people who just give up quickly and decide to go work for the minority of people who succeeded? The choice is yours to make. Not many are willing to cross the difficult path, or to venture into the unknown. It is a scary path, a very lonely one and many will not join you, however, you can be sure they will be waiting for you on the other side and ask you to share your wealth with them. You have plenty of people like that out there. Just like the ones who give you dangerous advice knowing that you will be the ONLY one that will assume the consequences to their advice. They really have nothing to lose but you do. So stay away from these toxic people and focus on what you believe in. The rest will come easy.

Believe You Are Creative?

Boy Looking On A Tidied Desk

"Creativity is as much about the ability to come up with ideas as it is about the courage to act on those ideas. He calls it creative confidence." - Tom Kelley

Do you consider yourself creative? Many people do not consider themselves as being creative. Typically, you hear "I'm just not creative," or "I can't do that", or "I'm not good enough to do anything like that."

Believing you are creative begin with you being a leader to take charge of your creativity. This is where you begin showing others that you can be creative and be a leader in generating and creating business breakthrough results.

The problem lies somewhere in your past where you were creative at one time, and then because some told you, "That does look anything like what you said", you took it personally and stopped being creative. Gordon McKenzie, a former Hallmark Creative Director, went to each grade in schools and noticed the wonderful art work. He asked the magic question to "How many artists are there in the room." "Please raise your hands."

The responses were very telling. In kindergarten and first grade class rooms, every student threw their hand up in the air. In kindergarten, everybody was an artist, two-handed artists: "Me! Me! Me! I'm an artist!"

In second grade classrooms, about three-fourths raised their hands in response. In third grade, only a few students help up their hands, some very timidly. So it went each grade a little worse than the one before it until he finally reached sixth grade. In response to Gordon's question, most students looked around to see if anyone would admit to being an artist, as if such an admission was a violation of group norms.

In the span of Kindergarten to sixth grade, students had un-learned their naturally tendency to be an "artist." Why?

The question to you right now is, Are You Creative? In reality, everyone is creative in one way or another. Because you have not been creative or don't think of yourself as being creative, let's think for a few minutes.

At home when situations take place, how do you handle them? If you think first about what to do, you are being creative. When problems, challenges and difficulties take place in the workplace, do you react with "Who knows how to solve this?" Or do you think first before reacting or responding. By giving up, you let others know you are not creative.

Instead, most likely you think about how to deal with the situation the best way you know how. Sometimes this is the creative way to actually solve the situation. If you don't use your creative muscles, your creativity will not be there when you need it most.

"Creativity is contingent on willingness to be judged. At some point, many people lose that." - Tom Kelley

Making Mistakes - If you work for a creative and innovative organization, it's okay to make mistakes. As long as you learn from your mistakes and don't make the same mistakes again, you are fine.

Be Curious about Everything. Essentially be aware of the things around you. What triggers an idea for you to work on?

Start looking at things from a different perspective. This view may give you an idea to work on something you wanted to do. It may even if it takes you to do something different without feeling uncomfortable. For example, go to your favorite restaurant and order something different from the menu, or go to a different restaurant. Take a different route to get to work.

"What is the biggest obstacle to creativity? Attachment to outcome. As soon as you become attached to a specific outcome, you feel compelled to control and manipulate what you're doing and in the process you shut yourself off to other possibilities. Creativity is not just about succeeding. It's about experimenting and discovering."

• Gordon McKenzie

Believe you are creative. Studies show we're all capable of creative genius, you just need to recognize - and hone in on your abilities. Your leadership skills and talent is demonstrated as you use your creative skills and talent to become the "Go-to-Person" in your organization.

How to Tame the Beast (Anger) in You?

Woman Wearing Red Sports Bra Sitting on Red Yoga Mat

"Anger is the wind which blows out the lamp of the mind." (Bodie Thoene, a historical fiction writer from USA)

But the irony is that when in a fit of anger, one does never care whether the flame is alive or dead. Again, those who often get angry for petty reasons are lovelorn and need more love, so goes a popular quote. But that hardly is a solution. And if that is considered to be one, then we are doomed. Think if such a person gets so angry at the drop of a hat that they kill you in that fit of anger! You must be alive and kicking to make love. The coincidence is that each one of us has a bit of anger somewhere within us. At a peculiar situation when we lose our patience to tolerate their anger, we too might get angry and react. A mishap cannot be written off in such cases. So is there a way to tame this beast 'anger' in us? I wonder if any external force can ever do that.

Look inward, you might get a way out. And as you do that, see if you can follow an agenda like this:

1) Realize that your anger is a weakness which you are unable to overcome yet. And it is quite natural to have many such weaknesses as human beings. Indian-American author and public speaker Deepak Chopra says, "If you try to get rid of fear and anger without knowing their meaning, they will grow stronger and return."

2) Look for ways to tame it from all sources that you can access - a good book, a psychology expert or a friend who has successfully dealt with it.

3) Shed all your ego and inhibition, and raise your hand up for help. Someone from your family, a sincere friend or your teacher might come forward to help.

4) When you are receiving the inputs that might help you in getting rid of the beast, listen to the counsel and believe that it helps. There is no scope for your intervention. Do as directed if you are serious about letting the beast go.

5) Be patient and know that time heals too. Continue to practise all that you have been preached. Just know what the Buddha's teaching says, "Letting go gives us freedom, and freedom is the only condition for happiness. If, in our heart, we still cling to anything - anger, anxiety, or possessions - we cannot be free."

6) After a while, maybe after a couple of months, evaluate yourself in terms of how you react to certain things that you don't like. Compare and see if the magnitude has come down. If you have been honest in practising the ways to control your anger, you shall see a positive difference.

Do you remember what the famous English Poet of 16th Century, John Milton, says about human mind in his magnum opus Paradise Lost? "The mind is in its own place, and in itself can make a Heaven of Hell, a Hell of Heaven."

Message From the Universe: Feel the Universe Around You

"The evolution of faith usually spanning millions of years, typically looks like this:

Not believing in "the Universe."

Believing in "the Universe," but secretly doubting it, too.

Fearing "the Universe," but secretly loving it, too.

Loving "the Universe," but secretly fearing it, too.

Realizing that "the Universe" was you, all along.

Yours truly,
The Universe"

You have rights to your own feelings. You can believe, you can fear, you can love, you can hate, you can do basically whatever you want, as long as it is legal and not destructive in nature. If you had the opportunity to go 20 years into the future and purchase an Almanac of all the sporting events or the index of all the stock market and come back to the present and start bidding or investing, wouldn't that be SPECTACULAR (hint: Back to the Future II, when the older Biff gave the Almanac of all sporting events of the next 50 years to his younger self to invest and become wealthy)? You have the results in front of you so it is guaranteed wealth right? You might say I do not want to distort the future because it wasn't meant to be for me to be wealthy so I might screw something up. If we follow the logic of Hollywood, yes, you might create an alternate future that would have never occurred if you didn't possess this Almanac. This alternate future is based on your actions or behaviors focusing on what you personally created with your pursuit of wealth and happiness. There is really nothing wrong with that. With great power comes great responsibilities.

While you pursue this wealth and happiness (even without the Almanac), never forgot who you were when you first started. With your humble beginning and your hard work and constant pursuit of your dreams, you will appreciate more what's coming to you. You might see success quickly or deal with lots of failures. You might be angry at everyone as to why you can't make things happen even with your 24/7 work schedule. You might point fingers to him or her for all your shortcomings. You need to remember ONE thing. All of what is happening is the result of your own thoughts. You created all of this and it is with your thinking that you can change all this again. One little failure might create a slew of negative thoughts which can, if not under control, have a ripple effect on many more negative outcomes in your life. As per the famous mantra:"Thoughts become things"(The Secret:2006) and with your thoughts, you render either positive or negative things. If you know that and you apply it to your everyday thinking, why would you choose the negative? The answer is right in front of you, just like the Almanac with the exact scores of all sporting events in the 21st century.

How Developed Is Your Belief System?

Woman Sitting on Chair While Holding Smartphone

I am a great fan of Anthony Robbins and other great writers they all say it is your beliefs that control your life. Even Henry Ford said "If you think you can do a thing or think you can't do a thing, you're right". If you believe you will get over a life threatening illness you are much more likely to do so, as many people have demonstrated including Dr Hugh Murphy in his book "The Power of Your Subconscious Mind". He even cured himself of a malignant Tumor. Changing your beliefs can change your life.

The National Geographic magazine has an article in the December 16 issue on: The healing power of faith called "Mind over Matter"

Norman Cousins an American biochemist who studied the effects of human emotions on disease, suffered with excruciating pain (caused probably, by ankylosing spondylitis, or post-sreptococcal reactive arthritis). He alleviated the pain with intravenous vitamin C and belly laughter created by watching comic movies which he found gave an anesthetic type of pain relief. He lived much longer than the doctors anticipated, in fact 26 years from first diagnoses, despite the above and heart disease.

Your belief is a feeling of certainty, whether good or bad, but you are sure the outcome will be as you anticipate. Now it is obviously an advantage to have a positive outlook and always "know" there will be a good outcome, but how can we change our beliefs?

As Anthony Robbins states it is not so much events that control our lives but the meanings we attach to them. Parental behaviour might influence one son to be a drunkard and thief, another could be spurred on to reverse his up-bringing. I know a child whose mother abandoned him at 3 years old. He was left to play in the streets with little neighbourhood supervision. He has since grown into a great guy, a successful business man, and has a beautiful house and trappings, a lovely wife and an adopted daughter.

Many of our beliefs about ourselves stem from past experiences, often from childhood. Some people haven't updated their beliefs since then when they felt small and inadequate, there has been no adult reasoning.

If you want to strengthen beliefs about yourself, think of them as "legs" supporting a table top. Find examples to boost an inadequate belief system to re-enforce the messages and strengthen the "legs" List all the occasions when you have succeeded or achieved things, however small. The longer the list the more proof you have to reassure you and strengthen your beliefs.

To read more about beliefs, and personal growth, Anthony Robbins wrote a great book "Awaken the Giant Within". He also has many YouTube videos that are great for building confidence.

So with this new-found confidence what would you most like to achieve? Write a book, learn a language, learn to paint or play the piano. Maybe get fit or lose weight. Or you could start a business, so eventually you could work at home.

Affiliate marketing is the simplest way to start-up online and if you enlist the guidance of a coach and mentor it will be a lot simpler. You only need basic computer skills, a desire to learn, and commitment to succeed at your venture. Take a look at magazine racks to find a niche to excite you. When learning with a coach you can start earning commissions whilst you are learning the necessary skills.

Message From the Universe: Daily Inspirational Quote

Woman Wearing Black Bra and White Tank Top Raising Both Hands on Top

"It's always been my intention that one day you'd inherit the earth, have dominion over all things, and thoroughly "kick butt."

How does today sound?

Think of it,
The Universe"

Your positive thoughts will become positive things, which also includes positive action plan with belief that you do deserve it all. You can think all you want, even if all your thoughts are primarily positive, but if you do not believe that you deserve these great things to happen, you will even things out, hence, nothing will happen and you will confirm your belief of neutrality. The Universe is a mathematical equation that deserve to be handled using equilibrium on both side of the scale. If you think positive, believe positive. You can't allow contradicting thoughts entering your mind which when belief is not in sync with your thoughts, nothing really good will happen. Positive thoughts in itself are very powerful, but they are not the ONLY parameters needed to live a productive and healthy life. Everything needs to be aligned properly for things to happen the way you expect.

Your subconscious mind is a very powerful tool that can control more than what is happening in your direct environment. It is, I admit, difficult to BELIEVE that your mind can control what happens in the Universe. With the billions of galaxies, with billions of stars and planet within these galaxies, and the multiverse theory which allows parallel universe to exist, it can be difficult to fathom that your mind can control how things can happen to benefit your life. Never underestimate your power because that belief will destroy any potential you may have to change the world around you. Remember, you need to focus first on yourself, changing your world from within and once you have mastered that skill, you can go and help the Universe fulfill your dreams of wealth, health and happiness.

This Is Why You Live In The Feeling Of Your Thinking And Experience Life From Inside Out

Experience Life From Inside-Out

The late Scottish born philosopher Sydney Banks stated: "Someone once said to me, 'Are you telling me that chair isn't real, that it's only thought?' I said 'Of course the chair is real. But it comes to you via Thought'."

Banks went onto discover The Three Principles of Mind which influenced the practice of psychology and psychiatry in the years to follow.

The Three Principles of Mind are:

1. Mind: The universal intelligence behind life which is the source of all.

2. Consciousness: The awareness of life unfolding and what we create.

3. Thought: The ability to create, through thinking.

How does this relate to you?

Stay with me a moment as I unpack this further.

Many people subscribe to the outside-in paradigm whereby circumstances out there are responsible for the way they feel.

And that makes sense.

I don't disagree because I've experienced such moments until I became aware of my thoughts.

The point is, you create your experience of life from inside-out, not the other way around.

American sports psychologist Garret Kramer says: "You're never feeling your circumstances. You're always feeling your thinking, which, independent of your circumstances, is constantly in flux. This explains why a circumstance can look troubling one moment and okay the next."

No one or no event can make you feel what you don't already believe. I may try to impose my thoughts or reality on you, but if you don't believe it at the level of thought, you don't experience it emotionally.

It was the Cuban born essayist Anaïs Nin who said: "We don't see things as they are, we see them as we are."

Your reality is the sum of your past conditioning. It has to be, because no two people share the same view of reality, even twins differ in the way they perceive the world.

This is empowering for several reasons, not least because it confirms we are in control of how we respond to life's circumstances.

The Four Noble Truths

Life does not happen to you, but develops through you.

Moreover, life is happening for you.

I know it may not seem that way and I didn't believe it until I upgraded my perception of reality.

When you allow life to be what it is without attaching a narrative to it, suffering is diminished because you cease to oppose what is.

Consider life being akin to water instead of a rock. Since water is malleable, it will flow around the rock and erode it to find its own level.

By embracing the same attitude, you abandon your storyline of how life should develop in a certain way and allow life to advance in its own way. Your thinking is a mind-made narrative and not the reality you experience.

The Japanese writer Haruki Murakami writes in What I Talk About When I Talk About Running: "Pain is inevitable. Suffering is optional."

Pain and suffering are important tenets espoused in Buddhism and encapsulated in The Four Noble Truths:

1. The Truth Of Suffering

2. The Truth Of The Cause Of Suffering

3. The Truth Of The End Of Suffering

4. The Truth Of The Path That Frees Us From Suffering

The point worth emphasising is that suffering is a state of mind. This is illustrated in Viktor Frankl's personal experience as a Holocaust survivor in a German concentration camp.

Frankl writes in Man's Search For Meaning: "Life is never made unbearable by circumstances, but only by lack of meaning and purpose."

Similarly, the evangelical Christian pastor Charles Swindoll said: "Words can never adequately convey the incredible impact of our attitude toward life. The longer I live the more convinced I've come to believe that life is 10% what happens to us and 90% how we respond to it."

The connecting theme lies in our response to events outside of us, not the circumstances themselves.

"Knowing that your feelings come from the inside (your thinking), and not the outside (your circumstances), is what allows your state of mind to self-correct when you are troubled," affirms Garret Kramer.

You Live In The Feeling Of Your Thoughts

I often hear my young nephews cry out when their playing together turns sour: "He made me feel this way." In that instance, I'm reminded how naïve their perception is, albeit given their age.

However, I've heard the same conversations in adults who subscribe to the same thinking. Curiously, these same people endure intense pain and suffering, since they concede other people or life's circumstances are the cause of their suffering.

They are not wrong, nor are they right. They are simply unaware of the inside-out paradigm and respond to life based on their level of awareness.

Can you see how misleading and painful this line of thinking can be?

No one outside of you is responsible for the way you think and feel, if you don't already act that way for the most part.

They may try to impose their beliefs on you and succeed because you already subscribe to those beliefs and so they become active in you.

You also needn't follow the Buddhist Eightfold Path to overcome suffering, but just realise you live in the feeling of your thoughts.

When you become aware and awake to your thoughts, you are less attached to the meaning they carry.

You become an outsider looking in on your thoughts. You are the witnesser and observer, rather than the person whose thoughts are being imposed upon them.

Message From the Universe: What Is Behind the Big Black Hole in Our Universe?

"Remember the joy you used to feel when you'd find a quarter in the street?

And how exciting it was when you got older and found a crumpled $20 bill in the pocket of a pair of jeans you hadn't worn in months?

Well, brace yourself, because the day isn't far off when in-between taking naps, swimming laps, or doing the routine happy dance, you'll be busy gathering documents for your tax return accountant and suddenly find a statement to a bank account you don't even remember opening, with more than enough money in it to do whatever your heart now longs to do, probably twice.

You do trip us out.

Sure enough,
The Universe"

This is how you should feel everyday of your life, when anticipating that great things will come your way. It may not be in the form of a bank account that you opened years ago and suddenly accrued enough interest to allow you to get the mansion down the street you always dreamed off. As long as you feel like great things will happen in your life and believe that you worked very hard to make all this happen, the Universe will start listening and paying attention to what you do, how you behave or act, how you treat people, how you help others so that it can render the results you expect the most.It may be hard for you to believe the HOW it will happen, or the WHEN. This is NOT your responsibility as the Universe is capable of doing that without even blinking. The supernatural force we have up there is just like that, SUPERNATURAL. However, that force is a creation of your own mind, you own desires and dreams, rendering reality based on your thoughts and actions.

I agree that all of what you are reading at this moment may seem far fetch, but until you start believing that all of what you see around you is a part of a creation that all started from this ONE point of singularity to eventfully create the world we see today. Without going too far in the theory of general relativity or quantum mechanics, we need to figure out how it all started with the big bang. If nothing was there, who had the thought to create what we see today. Obviously, all this can only be a theory as we can't see that far out after the 13.1 billion of years but it is possible that if what we see today started from that one point in space, that single pea size energy bubble that exploded, we can also assume that before the big bang, we had a big crunch, OR that on the other side of a big black hole, there is another Universe waiting to be created after another Big Bang, hopefully not happening around our solar system or galaxy. As no one was ever able to survive going pass the event horizon and live to tell the tale, we may just assume what happens if anyone or anything crosses the event horizon (sphagettification can occur after you pass the event horizon). Let's keep it all to just theory, how about that?

What It Takes To Be A Success In Life

If you ponder about what it takes to be a success in life, you have to realize certain uneasy aspects of what it is. You got to step out of your comfort zone. Have persistence and determination. Be broke for a while. Lose some friends. Have some sleepless nights. But most people simply do not get it.
So, what does it takes to be successful? Why is it so scary for many people? What can you do to keep going when things get tough? How can you persevere to be a success in life?

Success is not a straight line, and the only way to it is crooked. It is going down in the valley and then back up over a mountain. Most successful people have failed more times than you ever even tried. You should not wait for the stars to realign, you have to reach up and rearrange them the way you want. In this way, you create your constellation.

But there is only one slight difference between what it takes to be a success or a failure, and that is that you cannot stop believing in any way. No matter what anybody says, or tells you, you have to know beyond what is humanly possible.

You have to believe in your mind that you can. Do not allow anyone, even family, friends, acquaintances, teachers, or whoever it is to tell you that what you are dreaming for yourself and your family is not possible.

Anything is possible if you do not stop having faith that you can be a success. You have to plant your seed, water it, and accept it as true, even before it happens. Success requires hard work, persistence, and determination but other things come into account also. Here is some of the stuff it takes to be a success.

To Be a Success - Persistence and Determination
Persistence and Determination are a great combination to be successful. Persistence is an incredible quality which allows you to continue doing something or trying to do something, even though it is hard or opposed by other people. Determination is never giving up, especially in your own mind.

How true this is but not simple! So, a part of what it takes to be a success in life is definitely determination and persistence! If you are persistent, you open the door to many more possibilities and have a deeper appreciation for all of the things in life, especially the little things.

If you do not begin or do it, nothing is then possible. Most people do not even try, sadly, and many just try then stop or give up. Very few people try and try over and over, do again and again, and never give up. But those are the people that ultimately succeed and win.

To Be a Success - Hard Work
The bridge between reality and a dream is hard work. No ideas work unless you dare to do the job. Ideas without execution are simply disillusions. You can have the best concepts in the world, yet you have to understand that your ideas and the way it supposes to happen are not the only approaches in which it can occur.

To be a success, you have to stop making excuses and focus on making it happen. You have to focus on one thing, one area at the time. Put all of your energy in watering one area because if you spread the water across many seeds, you do not have as much water for one seed.

So, when you have mastered that one seed; you can then move on to the next one. If you believe in your dream enough or in what you are trying to accomplish, then you can see it. You have to foster the belief in what you are dreaming, put in the work so that it may become a reality. The way to the top and to be a success is through persistence, intelligence and hard work.

To Be a Success - Words Become Reality
Many of us are where we are based on upon what we believe. And it is not what you believe on the surface, but deep down in your subconscious that is holding you back from moving into the life, you feel you deserve. Your unconscious is running a tape through your mind telling yourself you are not good enough, not worthy, not smart, which is an audiotape that is playing for too many people.

If you are not conscious of that, then you end up acting out of this belief system and not out of what you know to be the truth. You are, in part, where you are today because of what you have been saying about yourself.

Words are like seeds. When you speak something out, you give life to what you are saying. And if you continue to say negative words, it can eventually become your reality. You are planting seeds when you talk, and at some point, you are going to eat that fruit. To be a success, you have to plant the right seeds. You are going to reap fruits from the exact grains you have been sowing.

In other words, you cannot talk negative, expect to live a positive life and be successful. You cannot talk defeat and expect victory. And you cannot talk of lack, not enough, cannot afford it, or never get ahead and expect to have abundance.

To Be a Success - Actions and Change
To be a success, you rather have to prophesy good things and wins about yourself. Then your life will move in the direction of your thoughts and words. Too many people go around and prophecy just the opposite. Things such as "I never get any good breaks in life," "business is slow," "I probably get laid off," "Flu season is here, I will get it."

Most people do not realize that they are predicting defeat. It is just like they are calling negativity in.

You have to act the other way around and believe that good things are already yours, and act as if they already are. This way, you can draw this to yourself while you are working towards it.

This way your actions are in alignment with what you say and think. The actions and choices you have previously made are created because of what you believe to be true for yourself. When you want to be a success, you have to act and change the way you think. You have the right to be great. Be different. Stand out. Change your destiny. And quit talking that it will not happen.

To Be a Success - Willpower
It is not enough to think you can be a success; you have to declare it out loud. Do it in front of a mirror. You have to speak out your future. Those words, repeated over and over, will get deep down inside of you. They will not only change your outlook but also change who you are.

Yes, life is hard at times, but you have no option. Handling the tragedies of life is difficult. It is hard when you put all of your efforts into something, and it does not work. Misfortunes happen to all of us, but when it happens, the real question is what are you going to do with it? Ask yourself the resources that you need to be a success and how to make it happen.

You have to fight back, one inch at a time. There will be many sleepless nights, but you will get to the next level if you keep moving. You have the choice to either give up or keep going. If you fail and still want to be a success, try again.

To Be a Success - Self-Education and Sleepless Nights
You have to read books instead of getting frivolous things. Material things come and go, but knowledge and experience are indestructible. You have to work on yourself and fill your mind with what you need to be a success. All people fail, even the most successful, so forget about your past and make the rest of your life the best of your life.

Most people read a lot of books on how to become successful, but writers tend to leave out the dark parts and rarely put them in the books. So, when others tell you that you will never amount to anything, just keep grinding. Do not stop hustling because these people are waiting for the time when they can say: "I told you so."

Do not let life tear you down. Do not spend so much time comparing yourself to others. Do not try to be in somebody else's life. Instead, do your own thing. Keep going and believe you can be a success. It will bring you where you want to be. Have confidence in what you do. So be relentless.

To Be a Success - Friends' Loss and Help
Remember that anytime you walk into a room, know that you are special. You have to know that you mean something to this world. Sometimes, the outcomes are not always what you desire them to be but real failure in life is not trying at all.

You are the master of your fate. And it is very likely that you will lose friends along your journey to be a success, but they will be replaced by value and quality rather than quantity. The path to success is the definition you have of it. Real success is what makes you happy, but you have to be willing to work for it.

But realize that to be a success, you cannot do it alone. You have to ask for help. Most successful people will help you by giving advice, principles to live by, solutions and not money. Some might not step up and help you but others will. But know your worth and let no one put you down. And do not assume but ask.

And yes, to be a success, people will laugh, try to talk you out of your dreams, or turn their back on you. They will not understand what you are trying to achieve, and a lot of people will not be ready for it. But let me remind to continue to dream. It does not matter where you start at, or who tells you what or who you can or cannot be, I believe in you.

Message From the Universe: Believe in What Doesn't Exist, YET

"Straight from the fabled Akashic Records:

Time and Space is where you chase things you pretend you don't have - love, friends, and abundance - while worrying about things you pretend you do have - problems, challenges, and issues. Until one day, you happen to notice the prophetic powers of pretending.

In case that helps any.

Tallyho,
The Universe"

It is said that " It is Not a lie if you believe it". Obviously, that can be concerning for most, but this statement is real or factual for events that YOU personally believe it happen, even though it didn't. If you start believing in things that you personally think it is true, is it really a lie per your standards? You can really say anything you want but your belief is what really matters. If you truly believe in something, or if you pretend it already happened, is that considered as a lie or just your ambitions? If you claim that you invented the cure of cancer and you know you are about to make it happen, how can that be perceived by the scientific community? Is it safe to move forward and state that fact publicly without having any significant proof to back up your claim? It might not be the greatest idea until it is certain that all samples tested have come out positive with your cure. Belief is a personal thing, make sure to keep it as such. However, what helps is pretending that this belief is occurring in your life, as we speak.

I heard of an example in the past that will demonstrate what I am trying to convey. A woman was complaining to her therapist that she wasn't able to meet any man. She tried online dating, face to face meetings, blind dates, professional dating agency and nothing worked. The reason wasn't because of any physical abnormalities, but because of her attitude and her belief. Let me explain. When the therapist visited her home, she noticed in her two car garage that she was parking her car in the middle of the garage, instead of either right or left. In her bedroom, she was occupying 99% of the closet even though, if well organized, her clothes can occupy one side of the closet. The therapist asked her what side of the bed does she sleeps in, she answered: "I prefer the middle, because there is no one there anyway, so why occupy only one side". This is where it all clicked. The woman didn't leave space in her mind to accept someone coming into her life. She eliminated the possibility of this happening because of her belief that it will NOT happen, hence, acting as she is alone and no need to allow space in her life for anyone. The Therapist suggested to do something interesting. First, she needed to start parking her car on one side of the garage, not in the middle. Her closet had to be reorganized so if anyone do come into her life, she will have designated space for his clothes. She had to start focusing on sleeping on one side of the bed, even if the other side is left empty. She had to pretend someone was there even though her dream man didn't exist yet. After a few months of changing her attitude, her life changed when she met the man of her dream at a place she regularly attended but never was mentally free of allowing someone to come into her life. Her perception changed, hence, her life followed. By believing in yourself and pretending it has already happen, the Universe will work in your advantage and will make things happen the way you predicted. Try it, it will work!
