How to Squash Your Fear Instantly With Charles F Haanel

Fear is something that must be destroyed.

Fear leads to the mental dissipation that will return to you the things that you do not want instead of the things that you do.

In the book Master Key Arcana, Charles F. Haanel explained a method by which you can squash fear if you begin to feel it. Here is that method.

Fear is an emotion. It is consequently not amenable to reason. You may therefore fear your friends as well as your enemies or fear the present and past as well as the future. If fear attacks you, it must be destroyed.

You will be interested in knowing how to accomplish this. Reason will not help you at all, because fear is a subconscious thought -- a product of the emotion. There must then be some other way.

The way is to awaken the Solar Plexus. Get it into action. If you have practiced deep breathing, then you can expand the abdomen to the limit. That is the first thing to do. Hold this breath for a second or two, then still holding it, draw in more air and carry it to the upper chest and draw in the abdomen.

This effort flushes the face red. Hold this breath also for a second or two and then, still holding your breath, deflate the chest and expand the abdomen again. Do not exhale this breath at all, but, still holding it, alternately expand the abdomen and chest rapidly some four or five times. Then exhale. The fear is gone.

If the fear does not leave you at once, repeat the process until it does.

Practice this when you feel any amount of fear. As some like to say...

... "Nip it in the bud!"

(To learn more about deep breathing and the positive effects it can have, read Charles F. Haanel's amazing book The Amazing Secrets of the Yogi.)

As you utilize this simple technique, you will become like the guitarist Steve Vai who said...
"I am fearless in my heart.
They will always see that in my eyes!
I am the passion;
I am the warfare.
I will never stop.
Always constant, accurate, and intense."

When you master your fear, you will become unstoppable.

Because fear is the only thing that keeps you from moving forward and attaining that which you desire.

Squash your fear!

Move forward boldly!

Attain your dreams!

You can...

... you will...

... you are...

... because you are the Master Key!

--

People like you who are bold and brave are that way because they read great books.

Mirth, Memories and the Child Within

Our best-loved stories, those we hear and love to tell are the ones filled with mirth. Laughter is healing, inspiring hope way down deep within us. Finding some amusement in the most painful of situations makes the hardest memories bearable. We love the stories that allow us to share humor and even the ridiculousness of life, which is why the best storytellers always have an audience. No matter how painful a memory is, if you look closely you will find something that was simply ludicrous somewhere in the story. The first laugh that escapes from that part of the memory is the healing balm being lovingly applied by the physician within.

Mirth is the merriment erupting from our inner child, signaling that this child has survived adulthood. It is important to retain the innocence of childhood, to carry it forward and revisit it at every opportunity. Children see without filters identifying people and situations exactly as they see them, instantly. Adults temper these images and events, filtering them through life experiences that force them to be acceptable to society or their inner circle. Denial was born the moment the light of our inner child was extinguished. Once denial has been invited into our life it will remain, distorting what we see and imagine we feel. It is a monster that requires our inner child to resurface to call it out fearlessly, to speak the truth without restraint and to laugh at the power it seemingly wielded. Children understand imaginary monsters far better than adults. They will double dog dare them to come forward and fight. This is why the child must survive the passage to adulthood. It is fearless and faithful to the truth.

Contrary to what many believe, the child never dies. It can be muffled and kicked aside in our efforts to become more acceptable to someone or something. Still, it survives, kicking and making loud noises deep within every time we deviate from seeing things discerningly or allow any illusory idea to take the joy out of life. It creates a sense of uneasiness, a feeling that we don't belong in a place or situation, making sure we are uncomfortable. This is the dare flung at us to let it out and begin a new game of life that is fun, one you can win at. Learning to recognize this inner struggle is necessary to identify and ultimately leave behind us the things that will never serve us well.

We are ready to start a brand new story, to begin a new game when we survey the landscape around us in life and realize it is not filled with anything joyful or hopeful. We were not born to be a servant to the taskmaster of fear or hopelessness. Deep within us lies who we really are; a child who will mightily call out what is harmful and quit a game that is no longer interesting or allows the opportunity for innocent merrymaking. Just listen, then act.

11 Ways To Be Fearless and Live Your Dreams

Are you so busy doing what you have to do that you don't get around to doing what you want to do? Do you allow time for wonder and spontaneity? Do you make room for joy?
It can be tempting to live in fear, give up on your dreams and live a life without meaning, purpose or happiness. Don’t!
This is your one-and-only life. You get to design it and plan it. You make the choices and decide what's possible. This is your opportunity to be fearless and live your dream.
My Southwest Quest
I'm currently on a quest to fly to every city South-west Airlines flies into. There are 5 countries, 90 destinations and counting. I'm going to do an act of kindness in each place and stay with an online friend in each city.
Salt Lake City, Utah was the first stop on my quest. I was there to visit Zion National Park and Bryce Canyon. I found both places to be breathtaking and stunning in their natural beauty.
Everyone's dream is different. Think of how you want to live your life. What is your heart calling you to do?
Be fearless and live your dream. Here's how:

1. Accept your greatness. When you are open to your own power, you are able to trust yourself, ask for what you want and be bold enough to move forward. You simply lose all doubt. You know you can do what you set out to do. You are willing to be great in any role or situation, because you are!
2. Design the blueprint. You create the rules. Yes, this is your one amazing life and you get to do with it whatever you choose. If you're unhappy with your life, reflect on the choices you've been making. Rethink what's not working. Make a new plan.
3. Unleash your burning desire to go after your dream. Be willing to do what it takes to make it happen. Take action in joy, knowing that the universe will meet you halfway and that people will be put on your path to show you the way and take you to the finish line.
4. Be still and live a centered life. Practice being aware of your breath; it connects you to your center. Watch your breath when you're sitting in traffic, crammed in an airplane seat or riding a hot shuttle. Quiet your mind and simply breathe in the moment. Keep calm and be kind.

5. Don't torture yourself with procrastination. How long have you been putting off your dream? How would your life look if you would have filled that time with action steps? Stop your excuses. "I don't have enough money." "I don't know the right people." "It's too late." I'm not smart enough." Commit to a life of joy and prosperity. Start now.
6. Release your fear of scarcity. What if you believed there is enough for you? There always will be. Your dream and your abundance have been waiting for you to claim them since the day you were born. Raise your energy. Expect the universe to have your back. Believe that things are happening for you! Be willing to receive and feel worthy.
7. Remember your commitment to purpose and passion. Don't listen to your inner critic. Don't buy into your negative chatter. Remind yourself that you are here to live a life worth dying for. A life without limits. A life that uses up your energy, time and money in a good way.

8. Pray. Pray for the strength to do what you need to do. Listen to your inner guidance. Look for signs that you're on the right path. Ask for Divine Order. Call a prayer line and have others pray for you. I believe in the power of prayer.
9. Choose friends that are going your way. Find others who are travelling the same path. Create a mastermind group. Help each other get ahead. Don't waste time and energy on jealousy and comparison. We are here for each other. When one of us succeeds, it touches all of us.
10. Endless possibility. Take care of your physical, emotional, spiritual and financial health. Fall in-love with yourself and be of service to others. When you do, you're ready for anything. You'll heighten your vibration and be available to all that the world has to offer. In this realm, miracles happen!
11. Be daring. Be brave. Be bold and authentic. Your life is your own. Don't make excuses or apologies. What you do today determines your future. Choose to make your wild and precious life a daring adventure. Let me know how I can help.
