Message From the Universe: Where YOUR Happiness Is YOUR Number ONE Priority!

"You are creation's first and last chance... to be you. Just as you are today. That's all you have to be.

You really lucked out,
The Universe"

So why be someone else? Is it because you have others telling you they are not pleased with who you are and you need to change so you can make THEM happy? What is the deal of making others happy at your own expense? Isn't your happiness more important than theirs? Why this infatuation of being so afraid of what others think of you? Can't you think for yourself? People who want you to change will always use the guilt trip approach to make you feel bad for the person you've become. You worked hard to be who you are today but your new approach to life disappoint others. WHO FREAKING CARES! Be who you want to be and not who others want you to be. Take initiative as an individual and avoid falling in the trap of feeling guilty for the person you've become. You might often hear: " I am very sadden by your behavior. I never thought you would become so selfish with your actions. I no longer recognize the person you used to be. What happened to you?". These statements can become harsher if you stay adamant to your feelings and identity. Some will use other guilt statements until you crack and you do the things they want you to do. They will try to use intimidation strategies if they see how strong of a person you've become. If you stand ground, they will eventually experience defeat and will leave you alone. This is when you can feel at peace with who you are, as a person, thinking for yourself.

There are many like that out there, trying to drain you as much as they can and get the most out of you, just like vampires. They look for a prey, get the most of what they can by using techniques of intimidation and move on to the next victim. You are left there, all drained from self-esteem. You try picking up the pieces to move on from the damage they left behind. Do not fall in their trap by doing the things you DON'T want to do, just to make them happy. Ignore their request, ignore who they are, and go on your merry way. Do what you feel is best for you. Do not fear how they will feel about you. Stay away from this negativity and work on bettering yourself. Sometimes, these vampires can be family members, or close friends. So what to do? IT can be tricky as you have no way to ignore them because they are blood relatives. Just look at it this way. If they are treating that bad, what kind of people are they anyways? Do they deserve your kindness? Do they deserve your attention? Should you expect to on your hands and knees and obey, waggling your tail, just like a dog? You are human, just like them. If they want something from you, respect is a must. You will need to use smart tactics to ignore them without making it to obvious. Be polite but firm and continue doing this over and over again until they realize how serious you are. Stay focused and make yourself as busy as you possibly can. This way, your time will always be as important as theirs.

Try Committing Non-Random Acts of Kindness and Watch Your Happiness Grow (By Dr. Noelle Nelson)

Traveling through Burma (aka Myanmar) recently--a fascinating country, known as "The Golden Land" because of the tens of thousands of pagodas gleaming with gold-leaf covered spires--I learned about the different ways Buddhism is practiced there. Oh, the essential aspects of Burmese Buddhism are the same as in Bhutan, Thailand or India, but there are some differences, according to my guide.

One of the most intriguing differences to me, was the importance of the daily "merit."

Every day, a Burmese Buddhist is to perform an act of kindness, thereby earning a "merit," which is important to their soul's evolution.

This kindness takes many forms; from adding rice to a Buddhist monk's begging bowl, to helping someone carry a heavy load, to soothing a distressed child who's lost sight of their parent.

It's what we would call a "random act of kindness," but done on a non-random basis. As in, every day.

What a wonderful concept.

More than a concept, what a soul-enhancing way to live life. If every day, you are on the lookout for some way to do an "act of kindness" then kindness becomes a way of being, not just something you do on an occasional basis.

Now, what's awesome about acts of kindness, is that not only does the recipient of your kindness benefit, but so do you. Research on altruism, compassion and service--the basic components of acts of kindness--shows that giving of yourself benefits your physical health, improves your longevity, and makes you less prone to depression.

Plus there are cardiovascular advantages: according to Dr. David R. Hamilton, acts of kindness release oxytocin, a hormone which protects the heart by lowering blood pressure, among its many other contributions to our well-being.

But perhaps the sweetest benefit of doing acts of kindness is that it makes us happier. As Sonja Lyobomirsky, Professor of Psychology, UC Riverside states: "People who engage in kind acts become happier over time... When you are kind to others, you feel good as a person--more moral, optimistic, and positive."

Why not, then, make acts of kindness part of your daily routine? So that you add to your personal happiness quotient, even as you are expanding the good in the world? It doesn't take much, for an act of kindness doesn't have to involve heavy lifting (although sometimes it may).

An act of kindness is as simple as letting that person with just 2 items get in front of you in the supermarket cashier lane. As smiling at a homeless person on the street, who usually is greeted with a blank look, if any look at all. As making room for a driver to make a lane change more easily, rather than your charging forward. As typing "Thank you!" in the "comments" section of an online order form, rather than leaving it blank.

Every time you commit an act of kindness, be aware of the positive impact it has on others, including those who merely witness your kindness, and enjoy the good-feeling your kindness can engender in you.

Let your kindness be more than "random," commit as many acts of kindness as you are inspired to every day, and watch your happiness grow.

Law Of Attraction - The Key To A Happy Life

Surviving the ordeal, is how some people see their lives, whereas others, see it as an experience to be cherished. No matter who you are, what your background is, how much wealth do you have, the topic we are going to discuss, will affect each and every moment of your life. The only thing that your happiness depends on is you and your outlook.

Believe it or not, the world is governed by one simple law. This law talks about energies and vibrations around you and also opens doors on how to harness them. The very basic language that can explain the law is, you will become what you think. Have you ever wondered, why some people always stay healthy, happy and positive throughout their lives, whereas some people seem to be irritated, unhappy and negative. After all we live in the same world and face the same challenges everyday. You may argue about the money in people's pockets and use a logic saying more money means happiness and less of it means worry. But, what if I tell you that most of the sleepless nights are experienced by the rich and wealthy and the most peaceful sleepers are the ones with less or no money at all.

So, with this logic failed, what exactly is this mysterious law that brings happiness and positivity in your life. The three magic words that can make or break your inner strength are 'Law of Attraction'. I'm sure you might have heard of it somewhere or the other. But, have you ever wondered what is it and how does it work?

This law basically governs your life, completely. The definition is simple, it is what you attract will affect your life. If you attract positive energies with your thoughts, you change for good and if you do the opposite and attract negative energies, the results will be demotivating. The next question that arises is how to really attract these energies around? There are no special skills involved. Voluntarily or involuntarily, we are all doing it throughout our lives. From the first breath that we take to the last one, we are unknowingly being governed by this universal law.

Let us get into detail with an example. A common situation with today's youth is the job search. Something which haunts their parents as well. Now, let us take two friends A and B who have both graduated from college but could not make it into any company. Now, A is a happy go lucky person who believes in working hard and staying positive whereas B is a negative thinker and has a perception that something once gone wrong cannot be corrected. Who do you think has more chances of getting a job? The answer is obvious. This situation explains the basics of law of attraction.

Various other situations and circumstances present themselves in our lives. The only key to being successful is believing in a better tomorrow and never giving up. A world renowned comedian and motivational speak, Jim Carrey, said a very beautiful thing in one of his speeches. He asked people to have faith and not hope. He referred to hope as a beggar and faith as a believer. There was a time when he had nothing in his life, but he never gave up and one fine day, the movie Dumb and Dumber happened and changed his life forever. You too are just a few steps away from being the one you've always wanted to be.

Believe me when I say that while I write this article, I am facing one of the worst situations someone can face in life in their lifetime. The only thing giving me strength to stay positive and write this article is this universal truth. It is the law of attraction that helps me attract the positive from the universe. Just think of the good part and let it work it's spell on you. Problems are a part of everybody's life, what matters in the end is how you see it. Remember, there is light at the end of every tunnel, you just need to take a few more steps to be free.

3 Best Things You Should Do When You Are Stressed Out

Do you feel stressful right now?

Are you constantly worrying about the future?

Have you caught yourself thinking about the negative future potential consequences of the things you currently do?

The truth is that stress is an inevitable part of life.

While it sounds good in theory that we could eliminate stress altogether and be carefree for the rest of your life, that's simply impossible in reality.

Having said that, if you are overstressed for a prolonged period of time, it's going to interfere with your happiness.

Excessive stress robs people of their energy away.

That's why you feel drained whenever experiencing it. It can actually prevent your body from optimally performing its normal functions such as fighting off disease, your immune system is lowered when you are stressed out.

This is why excess stress can lead to diseases. The natural healing mechanism the body uses to fend off the diseases will be diverted to fend off the stress, thus you are more vulnerable to infections.

Too much stress can also interfere with happiness.

Although we can try to make ourselves happier just by actively engaging in positive beneficial activities, a chronic stress can overwhelm your positivity at those tipping points.

To combat these regular stress sources, here are a few tips on how to reduce them:

#1 Exercise And Workout Regularly

When you include exercises, especially cardio ones, in your normal routine, you are stimulating your brain to release the happy chemical called endorphins. It makes you feel good.

When you have a real chemical change in your blood stream, stress will be harder to kick in and bring you down.

Also, when you are doing these high-intensity exercises, you tend to shift your focus into the moment and thus think less about those stressful situations. You're transforming your aggressions into different forms of energy and this can lower your levels of stress significantly.

#2 Take Imperfect Action On The Things You've Been Procrastinating On

When you choose to proactively engage with the tough situations you've been avoiding, you'll become less stressed over time because it's often the imagination of the situation rather than the situation itself that stresses people out.

By "eating the frog" and doing the hardest work early in your workday, you'll free yourself up the anxiety, fear, and over-thinking that pop up throughout the day.

#3 Spend Private Time With Yourself Daily

Solitude grounds you.

When you spend some quiet time (maybe just 20-30 minutes) each day just for yourself instead of entertaining others and the world, you will give yourself a window of opportunity to relax and clear your mind.

It can be as formal as quiet meditation, but it can be as casual as sitting in your room and journaling what you had accomplished, won and learnt in the day.

Stress is going to bombard you no matter what. The key is to accept them and find ways to transform these energies into productive motivations so you continue dominate your mission and keep hustling.

Make progress consistently and happiness will ensue.

Darling You're Not Messed Up, You're Just Misinformed! (By Jentana Dabbs)

Often times I have clients come to me and ask me to fix them. They say that they are "messed up." I tell them that they're not mess up, they're just miss informed about themselves, the way they should be living, what they should be doing and most of all they are misinformed about what "normal" really is!

The definition of normal

According to the dictionary, the definition of normal is conforming to the standard or the common type; usual; not abnormal; regular; natural.

The problem with the word "normal" is that there are so many mixed signals about what "normal" really is, based on our circle of influences, what our parents tell us, what schools tell us, what we see on TV, hear on the news and what we see on Social Media.

The cycle of madness

Most people are so caught up in wanting to be told what is normal, that they get caught up in this cycle of madness, trying to find it, have someone tell them what normal is and to just be able to fit in.

The Big Fear

The big fear for many people out there is the fear of rejection. They fear that if they are not what they perceive or are trying to perceive as normal, they won't fit in and they will be rejected, tossed aside and possibly die, so there is a lot of attachment to becoming normal. But again, what is normal really?

The social media crap trap

One of newest and now largest contributors to feeling messed up (next to our parents) is social media. Yes, those wonderful photos and posts that are posted everywhere for all the world to see of happy people, couples in love, success, money, travel, friendships, great food, PERFECTION, everything looks perfect and happy not a care in the world, no problems, these people aren't messed up, so why are you all messed up!

The Truth

They are just photos and posts, most of these people are just as messed up as you! (See you are normal after all! ) The real truth is, that "normal" has so many different perceptions, beliefs and opinions that you really can't judge your actions, character, your life and your happiness based on what someone else says.

So here are 3 ways to get better informed about yourself

1. Catch yourself every time you find yourself getting envious of others on Facebook, Instagram or anything else and allow those emotions to pass. Remember that those people have their own problems that you don't know about as well.

2. Learn more about who you are and what your biggest strengths are by diving into quizzes and studies about your brain type, organizational style, personality type and so on. You might find that the reason why you keep getting fired from office jobs is because you are a creative person and office jobs don't work for you, regardless of how hard you try.

3. Get some support from a qualified person to help rebuild your self-esteem and find groups of like minded people to support you as well. You've gone a long time believing that you were messed up, so now its going to take some work to reverse that old belief and change your perception about yourself, but with a little work and the right support, you may just start believing that it's everyone else who is messed up and not you!

The Unknown

We all want to feel better, to be successful and to enjoy our lives. Yet when it comes to making the changes needed, many of us get stuck at the threshold of the unknown.

For some, the option we choose is turn back around and talk ourselves into complacency. We tell ourselves the lie that our existing situation is the best we can do and fall into a state of numbness, discontent or even worse subtle depression.

For others, we unknowingly go about sabotaging our situations into crisis. Yes, you heard that right. WE force the change without the conscious realization that we are at the hands of the crisis and the irony is that ALL of this is done just to avoid the unknown! We shy away from occupying the unknown. We fret over what will happen if we go there.

Why you ask? Well, because the unknown is made out to be a terrible place. We are conditioned to believe that buying real estate in the neighborhoods of the unknown is a bad investment. That this place should be feared and is full of potential pain. We make the unknown out to be a dangerous place full of big, scary things.

The truth is the unknown is your ideal location. It is the best place for you to be because it holds the richest market of opportunity for you. The unknown is the needed pause before your visions manifest. The unknown is the undiscovered place of beauty where NO thought obstacles exist. It has no sinister secrets to hide. The unknown is the place where your thought seeds grow to become your reality. the unknown is what YOU make it to be.

It is NOT the unknown that threatens your happiness or prosperity. It is your conditioned thought seeds of self-doubt, mistrust and negativity where caution is required. So take up real estate in the unknown, get comfortable in the stillness and see what your automated self wants to plant. Is it the unknown that's scary or the thoughts you habitually plant about your future?

This takes practice. It takes time to get comfortable in a space that does not have the answers. This is why we put the doubt and the "what ifs" in place. Take the time to be comfortable in the space before your visions manifest. Take the time to be OK with positive outcomes. Be ready and anticipatory of your success and happiness.

4 Tips To Improve And Boost Your Self-Confidence

Many people today believe that having self-confidence has something to do with ones accomplishments or societal status. Others think it has something to do with having a certain kind of body, the way one looks or even how popular they are with friends and society in general. The idea of self confidence is perhaps one that women need a lot of clarity on because often times we see promotions on what new thing to get, which make-up to use and which "fix you up" products that are all supposed to magically give you an increased sense of self-worth and greater confidence. But does any of this really work?

Personally I know it doesn't work at all for I started off trying to get rid of my insecurities, self-loathing and criticism by buying all the best things I could find to enhance my beauty and confidence.

What experience has shown me, which numerous researches conducted can now confirm is that nothing can increase your self-esteem and self- confidence. Your happiness, fulfillment and overall well-being is very much limited or expanded by your level of confidence and self-esteem. No external thing therefore can truly bring you joy and fulfillment or that sense of deserving except a belief in your own value, which is always determined by your level of inner confidence, and belief in your own Self.

In our modern and rapidly developing society where material possessions are considered a standard measure of value, more and more people are secretly battling with this idea and try to mask whatever emotions they might have by working harder than ever to get more stuff, bigger accolades and more social recognition in the hopes that this will in some way fill the inner void that continues to brew.

This is the worst way to build your success or your self-esteem because none of the outer possessions no matter how good will ever satisfy you or even last very long. They aren't meant to add or complete you where you feel a lack, when we use them for such, we welcome all the evils that divine teachings have warned us against.

What is self-confidence and where does it come from?

Confidence is defined as the feeling or belief that one can have faith in or rely on something or someone. Self-confidence then is the feeling or belief that you can have faith in and rely on your Self.

It all comes from the Self and the error we have made far too many times is in making our capacity, abilities and sense of worth dependent on something other than self. Which brings me to the first point I wish to drive home, the self is the real, infinite and eternal you. But that self-experiencing your current life is under a certain belief, idea, concept about who and what it is. This idea is called self-image. It is the image of self that your mind has believed and defined as you. If this image is healthy and built or a right foundation then you have a great thriving lifestyle because your confidence is booming which means you're deliberately designing and generating the kind of conditions rolling out in your life. However if for one reason or another you didn't form a healthy and true image of self, then real confidence and belief in yourself is something you struggle with which naturally reflects on the quality of life you get to experience on a daily basis.

For the most part, we see all the erred views on self-confidence and self-esteem stemming out of this false paradigm and approach to the self, which causes people to look to the external rather than to the self for a strong, confident and a high sense of value and worth as human individuals simply from just "being" instead of doing or having a particular thing.

The difference between a person who's got a good healthy self-confidence and one who doesn't isn't about how they physically look, what they have or the kind of accomplishments they've made. It's a deeper more profound knowledge and understanding as well as complete appreciation and embracing of all that they are. One of the question's I get asked the most is: What can I do to increase my level of confidence? Here are a few ways:

1. Disentangle your real Self from your conceptions of self

The great endeavour we all need to frequently do as we often get lazy and get pulled back into mass kind of thinking is to disentangle the real Self from the beliefs attached to the self. The "I" in you is the real Self and is not the idea of you that you've formed throughout your lifetime. Your real Self is independent of all the conditions, labels and attachments you developed while on earth. It is this self that gives you life and makes it possible for you to even read this now.

This same self is the one you must learn to believe in, have faith and rely on implicitly. But since many people have no idea how to access or live from this self, the outside alternatives have continued to be promoted because humanity has long gotten used to the idea of looking for power outside in the world of effects. We find it difficult to trust in what is beyond our intellect and yet we can feel that all things tangible are limited. Your self-confidence will increase greatly when you learn to tap into your real Self and live from that authentic and infinitely powerful aspect of your existence.

2. Learn the truth about perfection and imperfection

Mankind has gotten so used to the idea of being imperfect. It's drilled in almost all schools of life and the idea of perfection has been given such a bad humanistic and almost vain taste that stating it here I know will arouse the criticism of the uninitiated minds. But the truth always stands and it is that you are perfect! You were born perfect and that's why you innately feel as though you need to express it.

Because you are spiritually perfect, there is no need to ever believe that something needs to be added or fixed. No need to ever believe that you need to seek it because being already perfect, the process of human living is the progressive unfolding and evolving of that inherent perfection. Start viewing yourself as such and life will show you just how perfect you can be as long as you continue progressively moving forward with ease and confidence in who you really are.

3. Discover the biggest war zone in the world and heal it

This is a big one for most people everywhere. Do you know that one of the biggest and hardest habits to break for the human being is that of self-judgment? Neuroscience found this to be one of the most detrimental habits most people indulge in almost unconsciously.

Within your mind is an ever on-going conversation about everything you are experiencing and especially about yourself. This conversation needs to be guarded and reshaped to reflect the kind of lifestyle you wish to manifest before you can hope to have it as your reality. If that conversation is only fault-finding, blaming, arguing and criticizing it will be very difficult for you to ever feel good enough or worthy of a good life. People spend so much time worried about the outside world while if only they could go quiet and listen in, they would soon discover a similar war going on internally.
4. Learn to embrace

Embrace all of you. Not just the good parts but all of you... Ambiguity is natural to you because you exist as Body - Mind - Spirit. When you discover the kind of image you have attached to your "I", it's probable you'll even feel ashamed that you attached such a disgraceful belief to yourself and let it define who you are. We all experience that - but what you need to know is that it doesn't really matter anymore as long as you're now awake and ready to take action and create an image that truly reflects the kind of person you want to be. Hiding, feeling ashamed or guilty over the things you discover from your old beliefs and mindset does nothing except harm you and keep you stuck.

Don't forget these are just a few tips on a very deep topic that every individual needs to work on intimately because it makes all the difference in the quality of life. I have a lot more on this topic and you can have more access in greater details of ways to help you recreate your self-image.

Above all else, understand that changing your self-image and improving your confidence requires time and consistent practice because it's a major factor in mastery of self. As with all things, the mastery requires certain consistent effort and practice to be invested before the great harvest can be enjoyed. But every step along the way will already move you closer to your ultimate goal and small manifestations that help you track your progress will always be noted so keep working at it, start with these simple ideas and trust that you are all it takes to be this new you that you want to bring into physical reality.
