Are You Doing Great in Life? If Not, Read This (By Dorothy M. Neddermeyer, PhD )

Because you are reading this article, you are moving towards your ultimate goals and life's purpose. Something 96% of people struggle to do.

Congratulations! You're on a good path-keep reading, you will be glad you did.

Because I truly want you to win, I want you to know every time you buy a personal development product... a book... or a coaching session, you are making a bet on yourself and your ability to live your dreams.

My win/win goal is to help your bet pay off.

Simple... and it is easier than you think!!

The sad truth is, many people (by definition) fail to bet any better than 'average.'

Approximately half the people on the planet are chronically below average-i.e. below average income, average debt of $15,000, average relationships and mediocre life satisfaction and health.

Average is mundane and discouraging. And then, people are desperate and compelled to take anti-depressants to cope.

It's one of the reasons I dedicated my life to live an exceptional life and to help others do the same. No one aspires to spend their life feeling average-no one.

I know you desire to feel Amazing, Strong, Capable, and Fulfilled.

I am here only to be truly helpful. I know you can earn and deserve the respect of many and live the life you desire.

You can live life as a high-energy, in-your-face statement of what's possible for humanity.

And you know what?

Negative thoughts creep into your mind without you even realizing it. Why because nearly everyone around you are verbalizing negative thoughts and as the cliché goes, 'monkey hear, monkey do.'

Even in the throes of incredible success negative thoughts pop up. Here are some of the negative thoughts I hear people saying.

· "I'm too old to make an impact."

· "I can't create anything at my age."

· "I am so far behind where I could be-I couldn't catch up."

· "The rich get richer and the poor get poorer."

· "I've done my best, and still can't get ahead."

· "This is just my lot in life."

· "It's God's will."

· "If I was supposed to have a better life, God would have given it to me."

Yes, even people who have it all-have negative thoughts.

Do you know what they do next?

He/she rejects the negative thoughts from their head like a CD with a scratch on it.

It's not a violent process when people who have it all have a negative thought. Instead it's a gentle "No thanks-not in my life."

Your subconscious mind is your greatest defense against invading limiting beliefs. Your subconscious mind holds all memory about all experiences, all truth and all answers to all your needs and questions. The conscious mind (ego) or unconscious mind is the source of those nasty beliefs that you have held onto for a long time.

As we have come to know, "We are our own worst enemy."

It really matters, that you know your subconscious mind is on your side.

Therefore, when you're about to ask for a raise... sitting outside your boss's office if you feel nervous, then you bet it'll matter whether your subconscious mind is at the meeting.

When you're about to take a chance and launch a business... and your past failure floods your mind with fear... you bet it will matter that your subconscious mind holds all answers to all your questions and concerns!

And if your car breaks down, your plumbing fails, or if there are circumstances beyond your control you need to allow your subconscious mind to give you direction. Or else you're in for a stressful ride! And I know you have had a few stressful rides, and you know people who have stressful rides.

You may have heard that life is 10% what transpires and 90% how you react or respond to it.

Well... when something goes awry, you don't have the time to consciously choose how to react or respond-you need to have a close and personal relationship with your subconscious mind to allow your subconscious mind to take over.

Your subconscious mind is connected to the universal knowledge and can react automatically with precision. Notably, you have heard many instances when people have experienced something that on the face of it, they would be dead. In that instance, it is considered a miracle. The truth is, the person's subconscious mind automatically directed the outcome.

The worse the situation is, the more your pre-conditioned responses take over, which may not be the best course of action or your subconscious mind, automatically takes over and the outcome is the best possible scenario.

So... how do you want your subconscious mind to be on duty 24/7?

What do you want to create for yourself?

If you have one or more unconscious beliefs, emotional or mental blocks, negative patterns or a frustration you can't quite place... then you need to clear the blocks and become the master of your mind-quieting the ego and unconscious mind and allowing the subconscious mind to be in the driver's seat.

When you are the master of your mind you will quickly find that you have a refuge or victim inside.

You can learn to install an ever-vigilant mental bodyguard to protect against negativity.

And you'll rest easier as you remember that your subconscious mind is in control. And you will feel totally safe. Totally secure.

Are you ready to recapture that mental power starting now?

If you are, let me be your best expert on the planet to install healthy new perspectives in your mind.

You owe yourself a chance to discover the latest, most reliable strategies for taking control of your inner voice, the inner voice that heretofore, has been blocked by the ego (conscious) and unconscious indoctrinations and conditioning.

This moment is the first moment of the rest of your life.

Are you willing to take the action required to claim your happiness, success, fulfillment, and enlightenment? Will you take advantage of the opportunity to create a new reality for your life?

It's time to SHIFT and get prepared for what's coming up for your life... so I want you to put your heart and soul into paying close attention to how much mental, emotional and physical pain you are in. Then, step by step you can make the SHIFT gently, easily, and without having to deal with the mental and emotional pain and stress of not knowing what to do, not feeling your best, and all the other OLD WAYS that are holding you back.

Remember you might need to ask for assistance.

Here's to living your best life NOW.

There is no shame in asking for assistance to create happiness and success. If you have read the books, taken workshops, had psychic readings, taken prescriptions and OTC drugs etc. and still struggle; you might have emotional blocks preventing you from moving into your happiness and desires.

This is an investment in your health, happiness, success, fulfillment, and enlightenment. Following the principles in this process will change your life forever and I want you to experience it yourself as soon as possible. Remember only you can take care of your happiness and emotional, physical and spiritual health.

I offer a 20-minute FREE no-obligation phone conversation to answer your questions and discuss how you can discover and create personal and professional success. And you will receive value in the 20-minute conversation.

You are worth it. You deserve to create your happiness, dreams, and desired success. What are you waiting for? You deserve to have someone to take you by the hand and walk you through the maze of unknowns, or to guide you through the obstacles and twists and turns. This is your opportunity to create the dreams you desire. P.S. If you've ever worried that you're missing out because you can't afford specific assistance for you, then this is for you.

You'll quickly find new financial opportunities as you gain control of your inner money story.

Then you'll be able to invest that money into furthering your growth even more.

How nice would it feel to not have to worry about money?

Bet on YOURSELF today.

Remember, the odds are stacked in your favor.

Change Your Life For The Better And Begin To Live Your Dreams (By James Nussbaumer)

Speaking of personal transformation and manifesting anything, here's a true story that may inspire you to take action on shifting to a better life:

Last week I got a telephone call from a long time golfing pal buddy whom I hadn't spoken to in a few years.

Like other people, I was excited to hear his voice.

He said he 'd heard about me making life changes and all about my new writing studio in the center of town, and he wanted to ask me about my new books being released and what's going on in my life.

To my surprise, he informed me that he was let go from his job recently and was going through making life changes himself.

You and I understand that there is no obvious factor when companies want to lay-off or let go of individuals.

From the tone and manner in which he was speaking, I could tell that he has actually ended up being stronger and more excited about the future and making life changes.

He's more open to opportunities and authenticity.

That's not all.

He informed me of further shocking news: his father died a few months prior to he being let go from the job. This, of course, had forced him into making life changes.

I thought to myself, "Oh my God, how is he handling all of this?"

How in the world could anybody ever take the pressure of dealing with the death of their parent and losing a job within a few months' time, and being under pressure to begin making life changes?

Exactly what would you do if these occurred to you? Give up on life? Or would you set your sails for how to live your dreams?

He informed me that he's got to be strong and he didn't want his own children being depressed over the matter.

I'm so happy for him that these unfortunate occurrences in fact made him take and think note about his life and re-prioritize his life, making life changes which he admitted that he 'd neglected in the past.

He turned the loss of a loved one and loss of a job into power and strength and a great personal transformation.

Since these occurrences, he decided and had the guts to be his own employer by joining his young nephew just out of college in a company venture. He feels that he has more control of his life and career, now, than ever before.

He explained to me that he now believes and visualizes that a great future is ahead, and acquires more complete satisfaction from life which he never felt before.

The Course in Miracles states, "In effect, then, what you believe you do see."

My good ole pal has personally transformed a great deal all the while being thrilled with making life changes.

Sometimes it takes a life shattering experience like, loss of family, divorce, loss of job, or other devastating circumstance.

How many of us imagine rising above our adversities rather than staying stuck, and being self-employed and being our own CEO, so to speak, and proceed to move forward.

For whatever fears many us have, often we never take action on doing what it takes to live your dreams.

The Course in Miracles asks us, "Would you join the crucifixion or the resurrection?"

Do you want what occurred to my longtime friend happen to you, so that you 'd actually sit down and consider positive change in your life? And literally begin doing the things that you truly like?

Or, do you wish to simply take charge and change your life for the better by taking action now?

The option is yours.

Do not wait until some sort of tragedy hits you hard to begin making life changes.

Organize your life proactively and change your life for the better. Take my pal's experience as an inspiration to live your dreams.

To living your dreams!

- Live by Integrity

In a survey of over 54,000 individuals who have the foundation for a better life, they determined the necessary qualities of an effective leader; and integrity was, by far, the number one action.

Your level of success in life will directly be proportioned to your level of stability.

The Course in Miracles asks us; "Do you build your house on sand or on rock?"

Theodore Roosevelt said: "Character, in the long run, is the decisive factor in the life of a specific and of countries alike."

Integrity is living an incorporated life around your concepts and self-worth.

Integrity is to take good care of your all-around well-being, your emotional intelligence, your mental health and your spirit.

When one is neglected, the others don't function also and you lose your character, and the foundation for a better life will be built on sand rather than rock.

When you live your dreams and passion in accordance with your true free will you create an inner vision of what you want from life, and you're not far from realizing your dreams.

You require discipline to make every minute count so every day can be one more day closer to your goals and objectives.

Live by integrity in all you do and success is ensured. Quickly you will see all the doors of opportunities open before you.

To a great life!

Say Hello to Inspiration

Isn't it strange, how one word has the ability to change the way we approach things?

There are 4 kinds of people in this world.

The first are the ones who believe, that in order to succeed in life you need to do pure hard work. Then there is this second kind who believe that we need a luck factor to kick in. Then there are those who believe that we need both, good luck and hard work.

I think most are familiar with these. But then I recently came across the fourth kind. The people who believe, that neither hard work nor good luck can help you succeed. You can only succeed... if you are DESTINED to!

Yes! There are some people who believe that if you aren't destined to succeed, you never will. Which may or may not be true, depending on whether you believe in writing your own destiny! Sure, there may be a host of things that could go wrong and you never know what all hurdles you'll face?

Success is never final, nor promised is it?

Nobody ever gives you 100% guaranteed success, without a tiny caption of *conditions apply"!

But to me all that is mere talk. As far as I am concerned, life is your notebook. You get to choose, whether you want to write history or make paper planes. You have a battle and you have everything you need to fight it. Why involve an invisible force? As long as I am alive and able to stand on my own two feet, I can do whatever I want right?

I mean to say, I would never let anything stop me from achieving whatever I want, no matter how many obstacles I face! If I fall 8 times, I'll get back up 9 times. I won't rest till destiny hands me the pen and says, "Go ahead! Make the changes!"

Feel something? A strange rise in the pit of your stomach? A warmth running over your body, as you imagine the endless possibilities if you decide to go ahead and live your dreams? Any fireworks??

Yes. Say hello to Inspiration!

What better way to talk about something, than to show you exactly what it is and how it is done? Less talk, more action, right? Keeping that in mind, today let's dive right into what exactly this inspiration is, where to find it!

What is Inspiration?

'Inspiration is the inner drive or force that makes a person do or make anything. Something, or even someone, who motivates you enough to go ahead and achieve whatever you set out to, is called an inspiration.'

Inspiration is highly subjective. It differs greatly from person to person. It is not at all necessary that two people who are moving towards the same goal, will find inspiration through the same person or thing. One man's food might be another man's poison.

Also, inspiration can come at any time and from anywhere. It's one of those things, where you won't know what hit you! Following are just some of the most common inspirations one hears about on a day-to-day basis.

• Books
• People (could be the president or could be your dad!)
• Money
• Movies
• Stories
• Country (to a soldier or a nationalist or a patriot or even a common citizen)

There could be another million things in this list. So don't worry if these things don't inspire you.

Now, moving on to the next part.

Where can one find Inspiration?

The following places/things are where you are most likely to find inspiration.

• In your day-to-day life
• In your work related things
• At the source of your mission

Let's start at the end.

When I say source of the mission, I mean the very foundation. The fundamental reason why you began moving towards a particular goal, is the best place to look for inspiration.

Why?

Because that's where you found it in the first place!

When you began the journey, someone or something made you feel driven enough to start. So then why not just go back and look for it? In fact, the second time you'll find it even more inspiring! Because it will hit you twice as hard.

There is a saying, "To solve a problem, you need to get to its root!" Here the problem is a lack of inspiration. So go back to the root and find it.

Now we can move to the second point; in your work related things.

For a large number of people, it takes a lot of effort to stay inspired after going through the same routine all the time. Which is understandable. But remember, if you really hated what you do, you'd either get frustrated or quit OR you'd mess it up unconsciously and end up getting fired.

But if neither of those things have occurred and you still can't seem to stay inspired, take a good look around you. Somewhere in the whole situation, you'll find something that will remind you what you loved about the job in the first place. Moreover, it could also give you some new reasons to be inspired!

Then coming to reason number 1; in your day-to-day life.

To be completely honest, we miss out so many inspiring things that happen in front of our eyes, every single day! It often amazes me how negligent we've become over time. Take a good look around you every day. I can guarantee you, you will find something inspiring.

Be it the street kids playing in the summer heat, while we complain in our air-conditioned offices and cars or the arrogant boss, who screams at his employees for being late, but never leaves work, till the last employee has gone for the day.

Keep your eyes open; you'll be amazed at what all you've been missing!

To this end, I leave you with the words of actress Mae West -

"You only live once. But if you do it right, once is enough!"

5 Ways to Live Your Dreams (When You’re Already Officially a Grown-Up)

What are you going to do this year? Piano? Basketball? What’s next? I was fortunate because my mom always posed this question about my dreams and aspirations as I was growing up.

One of our sons, Patrick, is in his freshman year of college. We spent the last couple of years exploring his dreams and ideas. What kind of career do you want? What problems do you want to solve? What school will give you the experience you need?
When we were younger, being asked What do you want to do next? or What do you want to be when you grow up? was a normal and natural part of life. But what if you’re already grown up?
No one has asked me those questions lately. Have you been asked?
When we become “official” grown-ups, it seems questions about our dreams and plans often stop.
If you don’t ask yourself these questions, no one will.
It’s up to you.

I often talk with my clients about how to start change at work or in life, or in my words, start a wave. A common question I am asked is What if I don’t know what my wave or direction is?
It’s OK. You aren’t alone.
Often we don’t know what we want next in our lives because we haven’t been asked or we haven’t thought about this question in a very long time.

Here are some thoughts for getting started on what is next for you, for knowing what your “wave” is and the impact you want to have in your world:

1. Forget New Year’s resolutions.
While they may have their time and place, this isn’t about what you can do better. We aren’t talking about exercising more or being more organized. We are thinking about this differently—from the outside in.

2. What impact do you want to have in your world?
Your “world” may be your family, your neighborhood, your community or the bigger world. You decide. This question isn’t self-focused, but on the outward way you want to affect others or the issues you care about.
I have met Wave Makers who started a small, local nonprofit; created a book club to help empty nesters adjust to a new chapter in life; became entrepreneurs by starting a small company on Etsy; have created large, multimillion-dollar businesses from the ground up. I’ve met business leaders who realized their most important role was developing others, and I’ve met men who banded together to help families in poverty with home repairs.
It’s not the size or scale that matters the most, but your desire to have an impact around you.

3. Dream big. Start small and start now.
This is my mantra. This combination is so powerful because if we dream big, it can feel like too much. Yet almost everything great started with a small decision or action that didn’t seem significant or courageous at the time.
In my research, changes often had simple beginnings over a cup of coffee and great conversation, trying something new to see what worked, or giving the unexpected a chance.
It’s so important to ask yourself, What can I do now? Not after you leave your current job, make more money, the kids are in school or you get out of college. This week. Today. Now.

4. Experiment and explore.
Last week a participant approached me after a workshop. With frustration, he shared that while he had ideas for the impact he wanted to have, he was uncertain which was the right one for him and how to get started. I encouraged him to try a few things now to see what he learned and then assess where it takes him.
Try a small-scale home improvement business on the side before you leave your job in sales. Spend the day with someone in your dream job and see how it feels. Start writing a blog before you commit to a book.
I have and continue to have times of uncertainty, but experimentation can give you the confidence and assurance on where to focus.  Remember, this isn’t a test with one right answer. Try, learn and adjust your course.

5. The time will pass anyway.
I graduated from college 15 years ago—I can’t change careers now.
It’s been 10 years since I was in the workforce. I’m so behind. How can I get back in now?
If only I had realized being an architect was my dream when I started college.

Rhonda had a lifelong dream of being a pastor. But she hadn’t finished college and being a busy mom had been her career for many years. As her last child left for college, she realized her dream wasn’t going away. At 50, she went back to college to finish her undergraduate degree and her applications for seminary are next.

Two years after completing her degree, Mary realized that her successful science career hadn’t replaced her dream of being a nurse. In the midst of wedding plans and business travel, she decided it was time to course correct. She is returning to school and changing lots of plans to make it happen.
The time will pass anyway. You may as well be where you want to be as it does.
It’s OK if you aren’t sure what your dream, your wave or your next thing is. What’s important is taking the time to ask yourself the right questions and then think:
What’s the change I want to see in my life and my world?
And keep asking. Because if you don’t—no one else will.

The 3 Levels Of Personal Development To Live Your Dreams

So having come to this website, you are probably wondering what personal development is exactly? What does personal development mean and how does it work?
Because “personal development” is a very abstract and general phrase…If we are going to develop ourselves and our lives…where do we start? Where do we end (what is the goal)? What do we do?!
Well I am going to explain that all now, in a way that will not only help you understand personal development and what it is, but how to begin to engage in it for your own benefit, and set you out on your own journey of personal development.
And to set you out on this journey I will be laying out for you the basic progression that personal development takes. For you see I have delineated personal development work into three distinct phases, or “levels” of said work. And using this sequence of engagement you will be able to lay out your own basic personal development path and the progression that you want your self actualization and the cultivation of your dream life to take.
So what are these three phases or “levels” of Personal Development you ask…
Well without further ado, here they are for you:

THE THREE LEVELS OF PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT

1.) The “Finding of The Self” and development of ones Ontology – This first phase of Personal Development is the foundation for the other two phases, and perhaps the most important. It is almost impossible to conduct any other personal development work without having a very definitive idea of who you are and what your life is all about. So in True Life Development I teach that all personal development work should begin with finding yourself and formulating your personal ontology. What is Ontology you ask? Well this is the development of your “mission statement” and purpose in life which goes along with the finding of who you really are as a person. Your ontology is your sense of your life’s purpose which gives you the ability to figure out what your “life’s work” is. Without having a good (and definitive) sense of self, and who you really are, you cant develop yourself or become your Ideal self, can you? And you certainly cant find your life’s purpose, much less fulfil it. So it all starts with figuring out who you really are, and what you are all about, so that you can have a definitive sense of what is called your “Identity”. Then once you know what you are all about, you can figure out what your life is all about, and from there, decide what you want your life’s work to be. So this phase can actually be seen as having three sub-levels, which we delineate as such:

A.) Finding yourself and figuring out who you really are as a person
B.) Figuring out what you “are all about”, and what you want your life to be about
C.) Assigning your “life’s purpose”, your “mission statement” and your “life’s work”

2.) Becoming your Ideal Self – Once we have figured out who we really are and what we are all about, we then need to figure out what our ideal self looks like. This is where you decide what you want to develop yourself into and become as a person. This phase of personal development only addresses the development of us as a person, and not our lifestyle however, which we will deal with in the next phase. It is here where you can close your eyes and imagine your dream self, and what they look like, act like, how they feel, what they do, etc. This is you at your happiest, most enlightened, most confident, strongest and most fit and healthy physically, most powerful in every way, most attractive, perhaps wealthiest, most charismatic, best dressed, most affluent in business, and with having everything about you that is important to you idealized in every way. You must assign a definitive identity to your ideal self, and it helps to make a list of the character traits and qualities you want to develop and the strengths you want to possess, and who it really is you want to become. Then once you know the ways in which you can “be the best that you can be” as they say, you can begin to systematically step into that identity and become your “ideal self” using personal development programs and practices. This is where the actual personal development is done, cultivating your character and who you are so that you can become the best you!
And then finally…
Image result for self development

3.) Developing your Dream Life! – This is where you take the personal development work you have done and are continuing to do on yourself but can begin to apply it more to your lifestyle. For once you are developing yourself to be the best you can be, then you can really begin to live your dreams! So you now must think about what your dream life consists of, and write down a list of things that you want out of life, and all the ways in which you want to live most ideally. This is perhaps the best part (or at least the most fun) in all personal development work. This is where you get to decide what it is your dreams are in life, and actualize them. So how do you want to live? Do you want to be a great business person or powerful sociopolitical figure? Do you want to be wealthy and live a life of luxury? Do you want to find love and perhaps start a family? Do you want to live in some idyllic location? Do you want to travel and go on adventures? Are there amenities you have always dreamed of having? Are there any amazing things you want to “do” (like activities) in life? It is important to know what we want our life to be most ultimately, because as you are engaging in this personal development work and becoming your best self then you can really begin to live a better life and effectuate all of your wildest dreams. So if you have not yet dreamed them, do so now! Figure out what you want in life and you will be able to get it through this systematic personal development work!
Exciting isn’t it?
Yes…and this is exactly why I have dedicated my life to personal development. It started with myself, but part of my ontology is not only developing myself to the greatest capacity, but wanting to help others do so, and starting this business so that I can fulfil my life’s work in the realm of personal development to the greatest extent. And part of my dream life is being able to effectuate some real change in this world and make a difference. So thank you for reading this blog and allowing me to help you. You can certainly see how rewarding engaging in such work on yourself is, and not only that but how exciting and fun it is too! I mean having the opportunity to figure out what you want to be and do with yourself and do it is such an amazing thing! And knowing that you have the resources and ability to be anything you want to and do anything you want with your life is such an incredible opportunity, and it feels good to have that doesn’t it? So take a moment to realize how auspicious the occasion to be able to engage in actualizing your dreams, and really allow yourself to feel how good it feels to know that you are now beginning to really step into that picture. And be proud of yourself for being the type of person who gets in touch with who they really are and engages in personal development work to become the best that they can be, and effectuate their dream lifestyle. Because there are many people out there who live their lives not knowing who they are or fulfilling their potential as human beings, much less living any kind of above average way. But not you, you are different aren’t you? You are definitely the above average type, the type who will not settle for that kind of mundane lifestyle. You are going to fulfil your potential and your life’s purpose, to live and be the most ultimate life/person you possibly can be. So congratulations for taking that first step on this journey of self actualization. It all has begun right here right now. Now all you have to do is delineate this journey through these three facets of phases I have laid out for you so that you can systematically progress up through these three levels of personal development for the most ultimate experience in life! And luckily for you, with systems like these, its easy! So what are you waiting for? Lets start now!
Good luck on your path to a better life! :)
