Your Only Limit Is You

man standing on rock under green aurora borealis and white clouds

Nowadays, the belief that your only limit is you is an actual fact. Each day, ever more evidence comes to confirm this point as an inevitability. You should be aware that your mind is everything and controls every aspect of your life. It has even a significant influence over your body.
How is it possible? Why is your mind creating limits? How can you get past those boundaries?

To begin with, your body hears all things your mind thinks or says. So, if your mind, for example, can talk your body into feeling right or wrong, what else can it do and what power does it have? Have you ever paid attention to the way you speak to yourself? What does it look like?

The difference is how you look at the glass, is it half empty or half full? You see, when you think about it, your only limit is you. Perhaps you have never actually considered this small distinction as necessary before. However, it can make an enormous divergence in what you achieve in life. Only because when you believe that you cannot, you put a limit on your potential.

The fact is that when you let your thoughts wander, and your mind consider that there are limits, you start to get doubts. Therefore, you think your glass is half empty, and you tell yourself that you cannot. Then, of course, what unfolds is that you begin to believe that you cannot indeed.

You declare stories to yourself which in turn your mind believes, and it then shows that the only limit is you, just you. These fictions are internalized, and they slowly become part of your identity. You have to be careful of which stories you are feeding yourself because they will start to reflect in your life and your outcomes.

The Only Limit Begins in Your Mind
To get rid of any limit, you have to establish in your mind that what you desire is stronger than anything else you want. Then, you have to burn the bridges behind you and say once and for all that this is it. That way, you have no retreat and no choice but to continue all the way to achievement.

To go for what you want is not so hard if you are determined, but to stay motivated is what is challenging. It is quite easy to dream big when your dreams are just in your head. The only limit comes when you have to do the tough things such as the everyday grind, the perspiration, and the hard work.

Your only limit is you since there is a lot of power in determination. So, you have to begin to pay attention to the way you talk to yourself and get control of it so that the stories start to be positive. Your mind and body will respond, and limits will fade away. You will begin to have better outcomes. In turn, it then attracts good things and better people to your circle. As a result, you start to realize that the only limit is you and believe that you can do anything you set your mind to do.

The Only Limit Is You
You are not stuck, incapable or without talents. To learn and know more, you can read a book, take a class, then move on to the next thing, because you are not a victim of your circumstances. You get to decide if the only limit is you. So, make a conscious choice to move the needle in an area of your life that has been frustrating you.

You have to be dedicated, committed and willing to struggle through the learning process. Do not back down from a challenge. One of the greatest ways is to remember why you are doing it in the first place. Whether your objective is to get fit, be a champion, learn a new thing, or start a business, it does not matter.

If there is something that you decided to go for; then there is a reason you decided to go for it. And yes, at times, it is going to be hard as hell. It even going to feel impossible sometimes, but you have to recall why you are doing it. You have to remember that you do have all the skills you need and that the only limit is you.

Believing in Yourself Tears Down Limits
Accomplishment is your duty, your obligation, and your responsibility. You have to forget and let go of what other people think or tell you; it is their mind talking, not yours. Listen to yourself instead. And know that you cannot better yourself if you come with excuses why other people are successful. It is a dangerous game to think that you have limits.

Believing in yourself is the best thing you can have as it tears down any doubt you might have. It is hard to get over doubts even you do not believe in yourself, and it cripples you. Disbelief, uncertainty, and doubt are things that make everything else seem impossible. So when you realize that your only limit is you, you find a way to believe in yourself again and therefore, nothing can stop you anymore.

There is no escape; everybody has a hard road. But your mind is everything. If you do not believe you can do something, then you cannot. You have to fight to get greatness. It is like having to save your own life. Nobody is going to do it or save it for you.

Limit and the Power of the Mind
You got to give everything you have to get where you want to be. Dwelling and crying won't help a bit. If you quit, you are going to lose. When you have a resolution, and I am not talking about a New Year resolution, but a real one, something to accomplish, you have the resolve, and you know that it is going to happen.

So, your only limit is you. If you are ambitious, you have to show it. You have to push yourself to do your very best and go beyond your limits. You have to understand what giving everything looks like. In life, it is always up to you. Just know and believe that tremendous power rests in your hands. It does not matter if you are a king or a slave, you have power, and that is the power of your mind.

You should take an honest look at your life. See and realize that as humans, we are conditioned to delude ourselves, even lie to ourselves by not taking a good look at the results we are getting. If you do so, ask yourself if you are actually living the way you want to live.

Eliminating Any Limits You Have
Work, determination, discipline, and ethics eliminate fear, doubts and the limit you have which is you. You have to go for what you want with everything you got. Take a risk because later on, you will look back and you can say: "I used the most out of this day as I possibly could." And that is what living is.

It is better to reach for the moon, and land among the stars, than not aim at all. It is better to try and fail, than not try at all. The reason being is that you do not want to live with the idea of what would have happened if you just tried. Your destiny is in your hands, and you have to go after it.

Again, the only limit is you because if you are convinced you are going to fail, fall or get hurt, it will come to fruition. It is what you are visualizing. You have to be willing to fail but do not ever imagine yourself failing. It is what stops a lot of people, and that is really what separates people from accomplishing or being what they could truly be.

Knowing Your Only Limit Is You
At some point, their mind says "Oh no, I cannot do this. I am incapable of doing it. I probably get hurt or fail in the process." But if you approach anything you want to achieve with that hesitation, you will inevitably fail. Instead, you should approach it like it is going to work and that you can figure it out, no matter what it is, even if it takes you months or years.

You have to believe you can do it because your only limit is you. Mohamed Ali, way before he became a legend, told everyone what was going to happen as he said he was going to be the next world boxing champion. When you do think that way, it is an all different ball game.

A lot of people do not get the fact that the only limit is themselves. But it is your life, your moment and it does not matter what you have been through. You are the only one who can make the decision. If you want something great in life, you have to make sacrifices and do things that most people are not willing to do.

By knowing that your only limit is you, you can use your determination to take action and do so. You have to prepare and get ready to get to the top by looking at the summit and not to the bottom. You have to be inspired and keep striving to be the best you can be. So, I wish you great success!

3 Psychological Blocks Holding You Back and How To Overcome Them

A lot of people are yet to achieve their dreams and goals. When you talk to them, they give a lot of reasons as to why they are yet to attain their true potential.

These reasons might seem okay at first glance. They might seem valid as a lot of people have them, but they are no more than what they truly are. Excuses.

If these things are examined critically, you will see that no one should have any of these as an excuse.

First Barrier: I am very busy

A lot of people say that they have no time. If you think that a huge chunk of time will magically appear for you to do that thing you've been postponing for some time, you are wrong.

There might never be enough time. No one has more than 24 hours in a day. You have to find the time and do what you want to do.

There are so many unnecessary things that we do today that take a whole lot of our time. These things are not compulsory, and they add nothing to our lives. Yet, we do them repeatedly and think that time will magically appear from nowhere.

Cut off those TV shows. Stop spending a lot of time on social media. Turn off distracting notifications on your smartphones.

Those things do you no good, and yet you spend a lot of time on them. Cut them out, and you will see that you have a lot of time for the most important things.

Stop waiting for the day or week when you will have a lot of time. Stop waiting for a vacation or a magical break. Create that time now.

Start with a simple time allocation. Then you can increase the time allocated as time goes on.

Second Barrier: I don't know enough

A lot of times we think that what we know is insufficient. We think that we need to take our time in learning everything about something before we start.

We think that we need to spend more time analyzing, researching, learning the ropes, evaluating samples etc.

Yes, it is good to learn the basics before jumping into something new. But there must be a limit to this. You can spend all the time learning and learning. You need to take a step forward.

A lot of people overdo the learning process. They never stop learning. They take too much time without ever starting.

To solve this, give yourself a definitive time frame. Give yourself an exact amount of time that you must use to learn something and spend just that time.

Do not spend more than the allocated time. Once that time is up, stop learning and start whatever you want to start.

Third Barrier: I need this or that to start

Sometimes we think that we need to have everything before we start something.

We think that we need to have a completely furnished office with a secretary before we start a business.

We think that we need the latest camera or the latest photo editing software before we start photography.

We think that we need the latest oven and kitchen equipment before we start our catering service.

We think that we need to get some special clothing, a smartwatch or a home gym before we start exercising.

If you don't start with what you have, you may never start at all. No one started with everything. They started little and added more to what they had gradually.

Google started in a garage. Amazon started in a small office. A lot of big enterprises that you see started as very small businesses that expanded regularly.

You attaining greatness is dependent on you and not on your equipment or gadget. The equipment that you use doesn't matter. It is what you do with what you have that matters.

Conclusion

If you can get rid of these mental barriers, you are on your way to the top. You don't need to know everything or have everything you need. You don't need to be in the mood or have enough time. Get rid of these mental barriers and act now!

Message From the Universe: Waiting for the Perfect Moment to Take Action!

"Funny, most folks "there" are waiting for a sign of sorts from folks "here," before they make a move, take action, or commit.

Same "here."

Let this be your sign,
The Universe"

There is never the right time or right place than NOW. Today is always the right time to do something. We always wait for a sign, or for some indication to make our next move. We will wait to have this before we do that, or we will expect to receive this so we can accomplish that. There is always that feeling of waiting for the perfect moment to take action. Guess what? IT WILL NOT COME. If you are a perfectionist, you may have some difficulties in accepting this statement. You may always want to wait for that PERFECT moment to come to make that life decision. How about going with the flow, surfing the wave of life and see where it takes you. I understand that the unknown can be scary, nevertheless, if you fear changes, you will never accomplish anything in life. Uncertainty is what makes living life so special. There is never a dull moment when you start something new and have no clue where it will take you. I agree that it can be helpful to know things ahead of time so you avoid wasting time doing the things that will not amount to anything. Just remember one thing. Every failure isn't a failure, it is a learning process that will give you the tools to avoid making similar mistakes. I am confident enough that every time I do something and I fail, I use that new found knowledge to accomplish bigger things in my life. There is never a moment where I can say: I regret I didn't go for it, or why didn't I do it and now, someone else took over my idea and is very successful. I go for what I believe and that is enough for me to pursue my goals and dreams.

Unfortunately for all of us, there is no manual that describes every moment of our past, present and future. God only have these needed details. However, God gave you the will and drive to do whatever you want, but it is up to you to make things happen. Free will to accomplish anything in your life without his divine intervention. You must assume all responsibilities of the choices you make and the actions you take. We all work hard towards reaching our goals in life, and that is for ourselves and family. We want to be successful but success has a different meaning for all of us. Some might say reaching material success is crucial in their life, others would prefer a successful marriage or family life and money is secondary. No matter what success means to you, it is still a drive for you to do the things you do today to make success happen. No one needs to justify themselves to anyone as it is no one's else business. You control your own thoughts and actions, so just keep on doing the same. If you feel something has to change, then just change it. Don't wait for that IDEAL moment as in most cases, it never really does. The reason is because the Universe is waiting on YOU to create that ideal moment with your enthusiasm and goal settings acumen. You built your own life as you move towards it. There is no secrets here. Your positive thinking is the foundation of creating the life that you want, the life that you desire the most. So go out there, take action and work on knowing that signs are EVERYWHERE, and that it is up to you to open your eyes and start looking at what is in front of you. The horizon will always appear up front, never on the back.

Achievements: What Is So Glorious and Satisfying About Them? (By Rosina S Khan)

Have you ever noticed putting consistent efforts into your learning processes result in a great fulfilling and joyous sense of achievement? How do you manage to do that? Read on to find out!

How do you actually make achieving great stuff a natural part of your learning processes? Below I cite two such experiences from my life in order to answer this question.

How did I start writing good scholar papers for conferences and journals?

This wasn't easy. I tried in one shot and aimed for Springer journals. My manuscripts were rejected. I tried native journals. Either I was rejected or did not hear from them at all. Then I read and reread the reviews that were available to me describing in short on the grounds my papers were rejected. I tried to polish my manuscripts from research point of view and highlight why my work was innovative, challenging and rewarding. Keeping these points in mind, I came up with better and bigger ideas until finally I wrote scholar papers that were accepted in international journals and conferences. It served my primary purpose of contributing scholar papers in journals and conferences but I also ended up getting a lot of faith and confidence in myself. Was I over the moon? My efforts paid off finally. Yes, I was extremely jubilant.

How did I successfully become an MSc graduate in Software Technology?

While I was looking for opportunities for studying abroad, friends in Germany encouraged me to go there and study. Accordingly I applied, faced the German visa here at home and finally made my way to Germany.

The initial steps were done - now came the hard part - doing the MSc. After two semesters of taking courses along with labs, I had to hunt out a company I could work on my thesis in affiliation with my university.

The company hunting process for my thesis was bewildering and challenging. Because every company either rejected or didn't respond at all to my applications. Well, you have to believe in yourself and stick to something long enough if you want something badly. That is exactly what I did.

Soon a company said yes to my application. I gave the interview and best of all, I came to know I would be working on "Databases" - a favorite area for me in my field of expertise!

It was not long before I was working on my thesis there and had fixed working with a Database Professor back at the university. Together with the manager of the company and the professor at the university, I made a good and brave head start into my thesis.

There were challenging times, of course, when I didn't know how to go on. But faith in myself and in God urged me to go on, beat the odds and make a victory, completing a prestigious MSc in Software Technology.

Having attended a beautiful graduation ceremony, I headed for home with all the memories, being happy and grateful.

This is exactly how my learning processes aided me in bringing about great achievements for myself, and I find them valuable and indelible experiences too.

Rosina S Khan has authored this article, highlighting the points how it is possible for anyone to achieve their dream goals by sticking to fruitful learning processes long enough and how it always pays off.

The Best Personal Development Tools Recommended

Anytime I remember the beginning of my journey into establishing my presence and business online, I smile and laugh because of how I run my business back then. The truth is that I didn't have any direction. Remembering those days when I drag myself out of bed to do a bit of blogging here and there, and placing ads on those blogs still makes me laugh.

I didn't set any goals for myself and was not cocksure of what I really wanted to achieve. The resultant effect of this was that I bounced from opportunity to opportunity because I was distracted by the different kinds of marketing strategies and ideas that captivated my unfocused and goalless mind. But the day came when I realised that results only come from focused efforts in one or two areas.

The reason am telling you this is because I want you to learn from my past experience and to relate it to what I am going to talk about. Apart from not having any clear cut plan, I also didn't have any personal development tools in my arsenal to ensure a continuous success. Believe me, for you to build your dream business (I assume this is the reason you are reading this post) or climb the highest mountain in the world, you need the "right" tools to accomplish this.

Just like a mountaineer needs the "right tools" to climb the mountain, a business owner also needs the "right tools" to use in order to achieve success in their business. You have to embrace personal development because ignoring it will definitely be to your detriment. Those who ignore personal development on a personal and corporate level will surely experience stunted business and personal growth. Hence, the right personal development tools must be utilized alongside a focused plan to achieve and ensure success.

Over the years, I have come across different type of tools and resources which have contributed to my success in the different industries I have been and am involved in. Though these tools are a big part of my ongoing learning process (yes, I am still learning because I want to sustain my success), the success I have attained in my physical rehabilitation business can be attributed to a strong personal development plan and the right tools I use in order to keep me on the right track.

You see, this applies to every aspect of your life too and I want to help you with that. In this post, I will share with you some of the key personal development tools I have come across on my business journey. Like I said at the beginning of this post, apart from not having a clear cut goal, I also struggled with a lot of personal issues, one of which was confidence and self-assurance.

As I am being honest with myself, I also want you to be honest with yourself because I know that once you use these tools am about to teach you, your life and business will be positively affected. So open your mind. Know what you want to get out of this post and what you want to change because this is the first step to positively change your life and business.

1. TED

Have you ever heard about the TED talks? And if you have, how many of these talks have you watched and listened to, and how many of the individuals giving speeches on this site are you following? If you haven't heard about the TED talks, then you are about to find out what it's all about.

TED (Technology, Entertainment, and Design) talk is a global set of conferences run by a private non-profit organization known as the Sapling Foundation, under the slogan "Ideas Worth Spreading". It is one of the best free resources on the internet for education, fresh ideas and enlightenment as far as business and mind-set issues are concerned.

It is a website where people watch videos on a variety of different topics. Though some of the videos there might not be related to what you are looking for, you will surely find some that you will be of use to you. One thing I also want you to know is that the individuals who give speeches on this site are some of the smartest and most successful people in business and in the fields they specialize in. I highly recommend that you check out this site, see what stirs your mind and apply the ideas being discussed.

2. Mindbloom

Image result for mindbloom

As the name suggests, the aim of this site is to enhance your life. This site enables you to work on whatever it is you want to work on by way of creating a "tree" for free. One of the core aspects of Mindbloom is the "bloom" programme. Apart from using it to wake up on the right side of your day, you can also use Bloom as your morning wake-up call, to remind yourself to eat a healthy snack between meals, to shift gears after work by scheduling a bloom with your favourite song and family photos, to remind yourself to pack lunch so as to save a few dollars each day.

You might think these "little things" have no effect on your life, but I can assure you that it had and is still having a great effect on mine. So these "little things" can improve the quality of your life and there are many more personal development tools on this website that can help you with the different aspects of your life. I definitely recommend that you check out this site.

3. Udemy

This is another site that I strongly recommend you check out immediately. If you are looking for a course in a particular area, look no further than Udemy. The site provides a wide range of courses on different subjects. Just name it and Udemy will probably provide a well-structured course on it. These courses are handled by experts who have excelled in their different fields. So you are definitely in good hands.

Let's also look at this from a business perspective. We all know that knowledge is power (that is if the knowledge is put into action) and the more knowledge you have, the more valuable you become. By being more valuable in your chosen niche, you will be able to improve your business income by improving yourself and the business. Less I forget, it is worth knowing that some of the courses on this site are free. What can you get for free these days? What are you waiting for? Check out this site.

4. Lumosity

This is another mind blowing site designed and maintained by neuroscientists. Yes, these neuroscientists really know what they are talking about when it comes to the optimal performance of the brain, the subconscious and conscious mind. Believe me, just as you know your conscious mind is always at work, your subconscious mind too is "never" on holiday.

The development of the mind is so important because the state of your mind can either positively or negatively affect any endeavour you undertake. This is why am also recommending this site for you. The strength of the mind is equally as important as the strength of the will. With more than 50 million users, many paying $15/month or $80/year for full access, the services being offered on the site has caught on like wildfire. Like anything other personal or business endeavour, you only get out what you put in.

As a company, Lumosity work with over 100 researchers all over the globe. Test results after a 10-week period have shown that after working with 4000 participants completing crosswords, half online and half on Lumosity, the Lumosity group improved more than the crosswords group on an assessment of cognition. Like it or not, the statistics are strong. So it may be worth a go.

5. Vision Board Deluxe

This is a great app which does pretty much what it says on the tin. You are at liberty to create your own vision board which will propel your success even further than you think. And this can be done on the go by using your phone or tablet. You may be familiar with this concept of creating a vision board and why people do it if you are a big fan of personal development. And in case you are not or you want more information on this, let me explain.

As I have said before, your subconscious mind is always working. In fact, whether you realise it or not, it's working really hard, even right now as you read this post, filtering all kinds of stimuli from the environment around you. If it doesn't do that, you would go completely mad from everything you have to process. But the subconscious mind is far more important than just filtering all kinds of stimuli. It is also the most important factor in many successful people's journeys.

Once you create a vision board, you activate your subconscious mind by constantly reminding it that what you are doing is so important. You are focusing your mind on what you truly want and because of the excellent bit of kit it is, it will work to ensure you receive everything you desire. You may not fully understand this idea (though I would be happy if you could catch this idea right away), but I promise you, your subconscious will open doors and your eyes to opportunities you didn't even know were there.

I know that there are tonnes of personal development tools out there, so please don't limit yourself to what is here. What I want you to know with this post is the importance of using personal development tools to achieve greater success in your business and personal life. Success is not an abstract idea. You can achieve it. What I want you to know is that if others are making it in life, you too can make it and be successful only if you give it what it takes. Never quit. Remember, if you want to create a better life for yourself and truly reach your potential, the chance is there for you. All you need to do right now is to take action and not to look back in the future and wonder, "Could I have done more with my life?"

How to Work Through the Pain to Get to the Pleasure

Some, not all of us realize that we need to work through our experiences in a conscious fashion rather than analyze, over and over again in our minds what happened and tell ourselves, in our head, that we're okay and we're ready to move on. We tell ourselves such stories! Such tales of garbage.

The Ego is strong and wants to keep you petty and immature. The truth hurts sometimes, yes, it does free you from the constraints of your past history and allow you to see a different way to behave. This opportunity to see through a different lens rather than our own limiting view are the times when we access important information about ourselves and life that was always there but hidden. The learning process may not be easy, but it's full of lessons that bring us wisdom we can't find any other way.

The desire to press fast-forward leads to escapism, contradiction, and denial, all three of which prolong our difficulties and in some cases make them worse. Our willingness to be direct, clear, and courageous in the face of our circumstances gives us the tools to finding peace, understanding and love again, allowing us to move through the situation with resolutions not seen or available to us before.

Yes! I said resolutions! More than one. Armed with this understanding, you may begin to realize that trying to find the fast-forward button is probably not the best option, perhaps it's about pressing the pause button. When you truly grasp, deep down inside that the only way out of any situation in which you find yourself, whether it's easy or difficult is to go through it, you stop looking for ways to escape and start paying close attention to what is happening, in the moment.

This is the first step to shifting your current perspective and putting on a different lens. You, now present in this moment, realize that you are exactly where you need to be. You can now choose a course of action instead of doing the same thing over and over again expecting a different result. With this new found awareness comes something you didn't know before and will now help you make a better choice.

The process of awareness can be easy, gentle and kind or a hard hitting crack between the eyes, either way it depends on how willing you are to give up being right, making someone else wrong or dominating another and choose love, peace, or compassion instead.

Choose to see all perspectives. Get clear on what you would love in your life, is it getting along better with your spouse now that the kids are gone? Is it peace in your work relationships? Understanding yourself?

Love, passion, affinity, contentment, courage, all these feelings are available to you so are hate, annoyed, tense, fearful, guilt, shame. Positive thinking alone will not shift your perspective, but balanced thinking, which opens the heart to gratitude and love will. In the moment you might be ready to fire and employee but with perspective, balanced thinking, you'll see there's more going on than you thought.

When you feel the urge to press the fast-forward button, remember that you are not alone; we all instinctively avoid pain. But in doing so, we often prolong our pain and delay important opportunities to learn. As you choose to move forward in real time and see all sides of the circumstance, obstacle or challenge, ask yourself how does what I think stifle me or serve me?

This balanced thinking will lower your stress and increase your vitality, comprehension and enthusiasm.

The Importance Of Get Up And Go For Yourself

Attitude at all levels (especially inside ourselves) is more important than anything external like suggestion or hypnotic commands from others, which brings me to a point: We must have initiative, genuine initiative if we really want to get things done. Now, sure, this is an article about hypnosis and altered states in a way. But, those cannot be depended on, we must deeply depend on our attitudes about reality to really conquer things. Sure, I could say get the best hypnosis tape, compact disc or MP3, but more important than that is being genuinely ready for the change, the external commands only encourage and help sure. But, the desire for the change must really be there for any "miracles" to happen.

In a way, we all wish for the Fortunata's purse or Aladdin's lamp to solve our problems, and we do have that really, but, only if we are willing to apply ourselves with the proper attitude, intention and conviction. We all must have that first before the "miracles" can be facilitated.

Even in accepted organized religions and other paths and all of that, that kind of belief and faith is required. Nobody is "off the hook" of this effort, especially when you read religious texts good or evil. To get to the cause, you must meet any power halfway for it to genuinely work for you in any way you genuinely want.

Sure, you can have the "best stuff to do it for you that costs thousands of dollars", but I am telling you if the desire is not there, nothing is going to happen. Because the importance of get up and go for yourself is the most important factor in the universe. I did not exactly say "get up and do it yourself" totally, I said get up, go for yourself and really want the goal you are going for.

After all, without the get up and go for yourself, nothing and I mean literally nothing really is coming to the rescue.

If you temporarily fail, look at it as a learning process, not "permanent failure" and next time and the time after that if needed, ultimately you will succeed. After all, let me sum up the message of this article in a few words: Perfection is earned and not given.

I could take credit for that saying in this article, but I will not: I give the credit to Dr. Walter Doyle Staples, Ph.D. and the message in his book "Think Like A Winner". Because I realize through this book that repeatable perfection is fully understanding what fails through experience, and beginner's luck success is not repeatable. So, meet reality halfway, and do not depend on beginner's luck and think like a real winner that can do it in an experienced and repeatable way. Follow and understand this advice, and you really will get it right permanently.
