Everything You Need To Know About How You Can Live Life To The Fullest

Are you tired and fed up of your life zooming by, where every day is the same routine: you wake up, you struggle as you climb out of bed, you drag yourself to get that caffeine burst, the bacon and eggs, the leftover pizza, then you force yourself to get ready, go to work, go home from work, watch some TV and go to sleep...

... in preparation of doing all this once again the next day?

Days, weeks and months fly by, perhaps even years, before you wake up one day and wonder where your life has gone.

Your life has gone into what I call 'routine mode'.

Your life is running on automatic.

You didn't even realize that each day is like the next, until one day the dark realization surfaces and you are shocked at the reality that your life is whizzing by and you have not made any progress in life for you to be particularly happy or proud about.

This can be a huge problem if it's not dealt with quickly and appropriately.

If it's not dealt with today, you could miss out on a great many things that life has in store for you.

So how can you change your life for the better?

How can you start to live life to the fullest?

For you to change your life for the better, for you as your first stepping stone to live life to the fullest, you need to first be in charge of your life.

And the first step to being in charge of your life is to become aware of your day-to-day thoughts, feelings, actions and behaviors.

Get on that journey today by following the 4 steps below.

They will open you to have that all-important part of the equation.

At bedtime, spend a few minutes to ask and answer the 4-steps-to-change questions:

1. What are two things I am grateful for today? Go through your day and search for two things you are grateful for. They could be anything; from being grateful that you're alive, to being grateful that you have a job, food, a roof over your head, water, clothes to wear.

Recall your entire day and fully feel and appreciate at least two things you are grateful for that you would usually take for granted.

2. What could I have done differently? If there's something you did during the day that you're not too happy with, think what you could have done or could do to turn round the situation.

If you responded rather harshly to a colleague, friend or spouse, think of a way you can make up for it. If you ate that extra-large burger, could you have replaced it with a small sandwich or salad?

3. What are two things I look forward to tomorrow? Spend some time thinking about what's going to take place tomorrow. Think of the good things the next day has for you.

If only negative things come to mind, take a few minutes to convert them in your own mind to bring about an outcome that you would like. Imagine and picture the situations turning out that way you would like.

This way you will feel more enthusiastic about tomorrow, where you will wake up feeling more optimistic that you might normally.

4. What do I want to dream about tonight? If you hold on to a particular thought until you fall asleep, more than likely that thought will play a significant role in your dream.

With added practice, you will be able to direct your dreams, enjoy them and remember them fully. This is a very powerful method that could bring about phenomenal changes. It's called Lucid Dreaming.

Get into the habit of going through this 4-step method every night.

You will discover that your life will change dramatically and quickly. And once it has, you can step up to the next level by asking:

"How can I change my life for the better so I may live life to the fullest?" and you'll be amazed at the next set of answers that will move you forward to the next level in your now amazing life.

Before we continue, let's dig a little bit deeper.

Do you feel insecure or pessimistic about what your future may hold for you?

When you think about what you would like to be, have or become in the future, do you feel anxious and frightened that it won't materialize?

Are you anxious that you won't be able to live life to the fullest, or that no matter how hard you try, and how hard you research, you will never discover the true and realistic best ways to live life to the fullest?

Are you worried that this 4-step method will work for others but not you?

Which begs the question:

Are you worried about your future?

And are you worried about the present?

If you are apprehensive and fearful about your future, about achieving, becoming and having what you would like, I then ask you to start, as of this day, in fact as of this moment, to allow yourself to see that there is an alternative to fear and apprehension.

Yes, there is.

And you can begin to work on that right now.

The process is very simple, effective and will only take you five minutes or less.

So, let's begin.

What's the most important 'worry' or 'fear' that you have at this moment that you feel needs to immediately change?

Do you want to change your financial situation, your relationship situation, your health, your fitness level, your lifestyle, your job or career?

Decide which one area in your life you would like to change.

Let's say you want to lose weight.

You want to find the best ways to lose weight; those ways that you will find rewarding, fulfilling, and that will allow you to healthily lose that weight, and perhaps a little later down the road you may want to consider opening your own lose weight business down the road so you may guide others how you managed to be successful at it.

Now here's the process that will allow you to release the negative thoughts and feelings that are holding you back; the inner fears and doubts that stop you from even doing the research to discover the best ways to lose weight.

When you think about the best ways to lose weight, when you search the Internet and visit some websites dedicated to this topic, or you use any other means available to you, what do you feel?

Anxious, worried, scared?

Do you avoid reading the blogs and articles, the eBooks, because they make you feel uncomfortable?

When such a feeling surfaces, when you sense the fear, doubt or unworthiness of losing weight and having that body that you desire, immediately sit back, close your eyes and go deep inside that thought and feeling.

Do not analyze that feeling and do not discard it.

Notice the first feeling or thought that came up, for you will do the process on that very feeling or thought.

It's not necessary to 'name' the feeling, as in, "I feel scared" or "I feel tense". The point is to just feel the feeling or the thought.

Experience the feeling or thought deeply for a short time.

When you're ready, move on to the next step which is where you will ask yourself:

"Could I let this feeling go?" Now the answer may be a Yes or No, either one doesn't matter. They'll both work.

Then ask yourself: "Would I let this feeling go?" Again, the answer could be a Yes or No.

And lastly ask yourself the question: "When?" to which you respond: "Now."

You should feel less fearful, doubtful and less unworthy after this first round.

Should you, however, still have some remaining feelings, repeat the process a few times until you are completely free of that feeling.

This is an extremely powerful process derived from The Sedona Method which I highly recommend you use to release any unwanted feelings that are keeping you stuck where you are.

I use this short, simple and extremely powerful process immediately, literally, as soon as I feel a negative feeling or thought.

Within a couple of minutes I feel much more relaxed having released that obstructive feeling or thought.

Quite quickly my negative thoughts and feelings transform to positive thinking which, in turn, make me feel more optimistic.

Still worried or concerned about your future, your weight challenge, or even your life as it is?

You shouldn't be.

Release on any concerns that you have. In fact, if you're doubtful this process will work, release on that, too.

Release what's been holding you back from having the future, and present, that you have always wanted, fast and with great results.

Are you focusing on what you want in life?

Let's imagine you are enjoying a Sunday drive down a narrow country road and all of a sudden a truck appears round a blind bend.

The truck is heading towards you, going fast. Your eyes widen, and your heart is pounding rapidly.

What do you do?

In that moment, your life depends only on where your focus is.

Many people in such a situation focus their attention on the truck; the object they want to avoid. And in doing so, the inevitable will happen; the head-on collision.

If you, however, place your focus on what you want by looking away from the truck and seeking an empty space to drive into, or any way you can avoid the head-on collision, you will find that way and be safe.

Use this analogy to think about life.

Your life depends on what you focus on.

When you focus on the things you don't want in life, you are steering directly towards them, and, worse, you will get more of them.

Simply put: you get more of what you focus on.

For example, if you are unhappy with your body, you probably repeat things like, "I don't like my body. It's ugly" or "I feel uncomfortable and fat meeting David's children tonight. What if they don't like me?"

Where is your focus?

Your focus is on the things you don't want; you are focusing on the body that you hate and on the uncomfortable feeling you have meeting the children.

So, you will naturally attract more of the same, and in doing so, you will increase your hatred for your body and you will increase your level of uncomfortable feeling.

As human beings, we tend to place our thoughts, attention and feelings on the things we don't want, and we wonder why nothing changes in our lives!

We wonder why we can't live life to the fullest.

Our minds are programmed to bring about more of whatever we focus on.

Actually, if you think about that for a moment, that should be great news, for all you have to do is focus on the things you do want, and when you do so with feeling, they will come to you in due course.

Your mind, or more specifically, your subconscious mind, will work on bringing to reality what it is that you feel you want.

The good and the bad. Be careful!

So, for you to live life to the fullest, pay closer attention to your feelings and to what you're focusing on.

As often as you can, ask yourself this question:

"What am I now focusing on right now?"

If it's on what you don't want, change it to what you do want.

Are you ready to make positive changes in your life?

Have you decided to stop being a couch-potato and actively look for the best ways to live life to the fullest?

If you have, that's great.

The question now is:

Have you done anything about it?

Many people decide to make changes in their lives, yet they don't realize that nothing will change until they take action.

Sure it's easy to sit back and dream about the new lifestyle, but where most people get stuck is in the taking action part.

Look at it this way, when you want to build a house, where do you start? You find an appropriate piece of land, you buy it, you locate and hire an architect, design the house, go over the plan, and so on.

You cannot conceive the idea of building a house and have it miraculously appear.

It's the same when you want to design and build your new healthy lifestyle.

Much like the house, you need to design exactly what your lifestyle will look like; you have to go over the plan by setting goals, and you have to take action to ensure it is built to completion.

Unfortunately, most people want to change their lives yet do nothing about it. They become expert complainers and they wonder why they remain stuck.

When you are ready to take action, you may face some mental blocks, such as, you feel you don't deserve that lifestyle that you desire, you don't deserve to live life to the fullest, or have that dream car or home.

That's fine. You've identified some of your blocks to taking action, now you work on reducing or eliminating these blocks.

How do you do that?

You call your architect, your subconscious mind, and come up with a plan.

This will take some deep deliberation, which you may spread over a few days. When you think about making the positive changes, what are your thoughts and feelings

about that?

Do you feel a sense of unworthiness?

To help you out, try this. Write down these sentences and finish them off:

"I feel unworthy because... "

"I am scared because... "

"I'm alright where I am, I feel safer that way because... "

Come up with any thoughts or feelings that surface. Absolutely no editing. It is imperative that you allow all your thoughts and feelings to flow freely. Write them all down.

Once you have a full list of blocks, work down your list. Choose one block every day and take a specific action, one that is the opposite of your block, until you feel that the thought or feeling has been reduced or no longer holds you back.

Utilize 'positive thinking' as well. Turn the negative into a positive.

If a certain block does not clear in one day, keep at it until it has no power over you.

Keep the power of 'positive thinking' going strong and allow it to gain momentum.

When done, move on to the next block.

Stepping up to upgrade your lifestyle does require effort, and the more committed you are, the more you will enjoy that new life.

Every day choose the actions that will bring about what you want to create.

The great news is that once you begin the process, it will get easier for you to choose the appropriate action, the 'positive thinking' that will work against your block.

Take your time; identify the block and take counter-action.

In a short while you will find the best ways to literally live life to the fullest.

The Significance of a Gratitude List in the Modern Day

Ever wondered how a gratitude list could change your life for the better? Interested? Read on.

I think feeling grateful for the blessings you already have in your life helps you to love yourself and others freely and effortlessly. Whenever I feel bogged down with grief, I try to remember some of the things I am grateful for in my life, and eventually, I raise my spirits.

Is Life about Competing with Others?

When you compare your life with others, you may feel jealous, inferior or less than. Life is not about competing with others. Life is about competing with yourself to become a better and even better version of yourself. Discover your new and upgraded qualities and add them to your gratitude list.

Revise Your Gratitude List

Your gratitude list will grow as you revise it from time to time. It is a great way to start each day by writing down three things you are grateful for as a part of your morning ritual. If you start your morning right, you are apt to prepare yourself for a great day ahead.

Invest Yourself in Personal Development Books

These motivational books make you aware of how you can improve your life and take small steps in the direction of your goals. The more you achieve, the more uplifted you feel and the more you can expand your list of blessings in life.

Teach Your Family and the Neighborhood About Gratitude

You shouldn't keep the knowledge of feeling grateful only to yourself. Rather, you should share it with family and neighbors who are going through difficult times so that they understand that feeling gratitude for the blessings they already have will ease up all tense situations. Ask them to maintain gratitude journals as well. Always remember sharing is caring.

Love and Gratitude Have the Same Frequency

If life has knocked you off harshly, and you are having difficulty loving yourself and others, try gratitude because ultimately gratitude and love have the same frequency according to research studies. Praying and letting the Universe know all the stuff you are grateful for in life raises your frequency, and you will find you can start loving yourself and others gradually once again.

Furthermore, with a raised frequency, you can attract all the stuff you want for yourself into your life effectively. You feel grateful for them once they are manifested, and you list them down in your gratitude journal for remembering them in your later confessions.

My Gratitude List

I do maintain a gratitude list. Dated December 1st, 2019, I have written and revised my gratitude list as follows:

  1. I am grateful for life.
  2. I have a working head, hands, and feet.
  3. I have eyes to see and ears to hear.
  4. My body is perfectly healthy.
  5. I have a Master of Science degree in Software Technology.
  6. I am grateful for writing both at EzineArticles.com and HubPages.com.
  7. I love to grin, smile and laugh. Then I am free.
  8. I am grateful for gas, water, and electricity.
  9. I am grateful for the food in the refrigerator and trendy clothes in my wardrobe.
  10. I am grateful for my smartphone and laptop.
  11. I am grateful for all household amenities.
  12. I love the furniture in my room. I love my room.
  13. I choose to be present and relish every moment. After all, the now is all I will ever have to be happy and enjoy life.
  14. I am grateful to have a reliable chauffeur to take me to the city center where I love to shop and carry out my errands.
  15. I am grateful for the pin-drop silence around me and my peace of mind.
  16. I am grateful that I am still able to dream and hold a lovely vision for my future.
Yes, this is my gratitude list. Some of them may resonate with you while others will be quite different from your perspective. But you get the idea.
Conclusion

Love is the single most and strongest vibrational force on this earth. However, if you are having difficulty with love, I repeat, try gratitude and try listing it down in a journal. It is easier because the more blessings in your life you acknowledge and be grateful for, the more blessings flow into your life. This restores your love for yourself and others.

Maintaining a gratitude list is a simple worthwhile strategy and it always works.

Just forgetting this ritual won't help you at all. Commit yourself to it daily. And you will begin to comprehend its significance in the modern day.

Rewriting Your Life Story

While going through a high period of stress your mind and body are often geared towards responding in fight or flight mode. Due to how pressured you feel, you reach a point where you are determined to change yourself to suit the circumstances better. Even after doing so, when you see no change in the behaviour of others or the situation, you decide that the only option left is to exit the situation and begin again.

This sounds like an effective step and in many cases, it is one that works. However, your life may not always have space and opportunity for you to remove yourself from a troublesome situation for good. When this happens, how can you address your mind's monologue that has decided that everything has been tried and giving up is the only option left?

Wouldn't it be better to develop an alternative narrative where you are kinder to yourself? Here are some ways to actively change how you tell yourself and others your story:

1. Use externalising language - The issue you are facing is not who you are, it is separate from your self-worth and capabilities, it does not define you in any way. It is something that is happening to you and affecting you."When this happens to me I get (... )", "This doesn't occur often but at certain times it decides to (... )", "It is very troubling and unsettling" are some examples of externalising language.

2. Considering social and political issues at play - Is this issue something many others are also facing? Look at what factors of this day and age make it possible for this problem to have the power it does over so many people.

3. Unique outcomes - Have there been times in your life prior to this when a different issue with similar qualities or similar stressors sprung up? If yes, how did you deal with it? Were there previous times when you were able to manage an older issue better than you are managing the current one? Look at what were some of the things you did then that could help you now. Doing this will help you figure out that you probably already have the resources to handle the issue.

4. Find a support system - It is important to have friends who are familiar with how you are rewriting your story and changing your narrative. Sharing your strengths that have helped you combat older issues before can lead to instances where your friends are able to remind you of these resources in times of distress. Sharing with them your new way of talking about the issue is also relevant because it decides how others talk to you about it, how you talk about it in the future, how they offer suggestions and inquire about your well being.

5. Expressive arts (e.g. painting and dance), and journaling are activities that continue to help in externalising the issue. This way, the effects of the issue do not seep into your personality as something that you find yourself constantly thinking about. The energy put into these activities is a way to channel your thoughts creatively, to give yourself the freedom and peace of mind you need to see things objectively and with much required distance.

These activities can help you in stopping to see yourself as the key reason that leads to disaster. By doing this, you are more likely to find hope and motivation to improve those parts of your life that you find are most affected by the issues you face.

Change Your Life In Minutes

Often, I hear people talk about how busy they are and that often they feel overwhelmed. Their lives are disorganized, their vehicles need attention and their relationships are strained.

Rather than piling things up and then feeling like everything is just too large to resolve, try doing things a little bit at a time. Your life can be so much better if you just think about what can be accomplished in five minutes or less.

Following are things that take five minutes or less to do but will give you much pleasure.

  • Manage the dishwasher - It is much easier to make dirty dishes disappear immediately after a meal than waiting until hours later. Better yet, try having an empty dishwasher before meal preparation so that you can be loading it with cooking utensils as you go.
  • Write a short note to someone who you care about. One or two sentences may bring a smile to that person's face.
  • Play your favourite song and dance!
  • Write a grocery list (on your phone or on paper).
  • Water your plants as you take in their aroma and beauty.
  • Bag, tie and take out the garbage.
  • Pray.
  • Move the meat for your next meal from the freezer to the fridge.
  • Choose an outfit and accessories for your next appearance.
  • Open a junk drawer and pull out ten things you don't need or want.
  • Read as many pages as possible in your favourite book (within the five-minute timeline).
  • Sit in a chair with eyes closed and breathe deeply with a goal of feeling totally relaxed.
  • Throw a load of laundry into the washer.
  • Delete unnecessary emails from your inbox.
  • Clean one mirror in your house.
  • Feed the pets.
  • Phone your mother (remember to start the conversation by saying "I only have five minutes")
  • Remove everything from the seats in your vehicle.
  • Think about the next upcoming birthday in the family and how you will celebrate.
  • Exercise.
  • Plan one charity you can help this year (donations, volunteering, encouraging).
  • Journal.
  • Knit, crochet or focus on a hobby (remember, only five minutes!)
  • Brush and floss.
  • Flip through a magazine.
  • Enjoy a piece of fresh fruit.
  • Watch a Marie Kondo video on how to fold clothes (amazing!)
  • Play a game of solitaire.
  • Book an appointment for a massage.
  • List other things that you can do in five minutes or less.
Don't wait until things have piled up around you! Begin using five-minute segments in which you can organize your environment, plan your time and feed your soul.

Change Your Life Around Today By Creating A Life Plan As A Happy Learner

There are various types of people in the world.

Some individuals are happy with the hard work of a good business for numerous years, then retiring, others do not desire to keep the same job for too long and keep looking for something better.

And, still others want to work for themselves.

A Course in Miracles teaches us deeply about 'wrong-mindedness' and 'right-mindedness,' both qualities of the ego-based mind-- that is built on fear and self-doubt.

I've studied about individuals and the charge for success in an extremely-unique method, and I'll give you a taste of what operating from the right-mind versus the wrong-mind means.

There have been a lot of books about ways to sell, how to experience prosperity and abundance, and other comparable titles.

Much of them offer complicated formulas for success.

There are two types of people in the world, wrong-minded and right-minded, and as humans, still both are ego-based.

The 'right-minded' individual still with doubt and fear, and we as humans while in this world will always have these traits, yet this more in tune mind knows deeper within how to reach spirit and be guided.

This guidance he/she receives overplays the doom and gloom scenario occupied by the wrong-minded thinker.

There are happy learning yet still sometimes unfortunate right-minded people, but they know how to listen within, get back up after a hard fall and keep moving forward in life.

Let's begin with the wrong-minded thinker:

These are the people who yell a lot, stress over due dates, and think the world is coming to an end if they don't succeed at every little thing they do.

When they do not succeed rather than learning from past errors, it's another person's fault for not being a sad wrong-minded person, too.

They are also the individuals who tend to pass away young of a heart attack or a stroke because of the massive pressure they put on themselves.

Now, let's go on to the right-minded man or woman:

These people are simply as driven as the wrong-minded guy/gal to succeed, except they take pleasure in every minute of it.

They enjoy the process, or the road taken.

They know success is an evasive victim, but it's the real charge they love more than the success itself.

They will constantly be successful due to the fact that they do take pleasure in the pursuit, not simply the achievement after the win.

They enjoy succeeding and helping those around them to succeed.

I have great news for you if you operate from the right-mind. You are well on your own way to success, so make sure you are actually creating a life plan.

A happy optimistic person gets up every early morning way prior than need be, since they anticipate every day and want to get a head start.

A delighted thinker, still with some doubts and fears, does not have to chew out and bully others because they will follow the lead and because they want to resemble them.

A happy thinker may help you plan your life and leads by example.

Previously I discussed free books and other material available to help an individual tap into his/her inner power for success.

I also noted that this right-minded person let's nothing take control and has learned mind training to charge at fear and self-doubt head on.

You have to do the things a happy learner does if success in your household or business is your goals and objectives and you want to be a happy learner.

If something knocks you down, you have to instantly get back up and take a look at what went wrong, learn from it, and charge after you're your goals and objectives and get the task done.

Are you really a happy learner?

The world's truly optimistic people have their own concept of success and not everyone has the courage to operate this way.

Now let's look the wrong-minded sad learner again:

They stand around being afraid to speak out or to learn something brand new, never doing very much, just kind of biding their time by.

They see the person of true optimism who is not afraid to follow spirit's guidance, and talk behind their backs saying things like, "It must be nice to be that fortunate."

They lower their head and go right back to mumbling and gossiping about successful others, while not doing anything toward personal transformation with their lot in life, accepting whatever is offered to them.

They grumble that anybody who succeeds is just fortunate and that they can not appear to ever get a break.

Now confess.

You understand a minimum of one unfortunate pessimistic person and do you like being around that sad soul?

Are you the sad soul?

I give the following advice for clearing away this self-limiting lack-based lifestyle if you are or have a good friend who is the unfortunate sad learner.

Stop over-thinking, and start taking action to plan your life in this instant right now.

Remember, a happy person creating a life plan doesn't need to belittle or bully others, just to get things done.

To plan your life you must both lead and follow out of respect due to the fact that we are all helping each other while in this world.

We right-minded doers and thinkers are always happy learning more while helping others along the way.

( I also recommend seeking the net for further helpful material helping you define the meaning of success for yourself so you may take steps toward creating the life you want.)

To success and happiness!

How You Can Be As Mentally Tough As A Samurai

I once heard a story about a Japanese Samurai in war torn Japan.

The samurai I am speaking of was a pupil to a highly regarded Samurai who won countless battles.

One day, the pupil went to his master and asked him for guidance.

The war torn Samurai looked at his pupil calmly and nodded for him to proceed.

The pupil anxiously asked, "How do I train my mind to be as tough as yours?"

The Samurai paused for just a moment and slowly pointed outside.

it was the middle of winter and just the night before a fresh coat of snow piled upon the ground.

The pupil was confused...

The Samurai said, "If you wish to have an unshakable mind, take off your clothes and stand in the snow."

This story just gives you a glimpse on how tough the Samurai were.

Standing butt naked in the dead of winter in a pile of snow... we can barely survive our morning drives without our heat blasting!

Now before you go running off naked into the snow I'm going to ask you to pump the breaks.

Cops will be called in no time and you will have one awkward story to tell.

But there is something we can take away from the Samurai on how to build our mental toughness.

Something we can do today to start our journey to mental fortitude.

This "something" is a ritual we all do every day (hopefully).

Drum roll please!

Take cold showers.

I can hear you gasp now.

But yes, as warriors ourselves, mental toughness is necessary to build and create the lives we desire.

The lives that we deserve.

So lets take a lesson form these elite warriors.

Cold showers are a great, effective way to build our mental toughness. You will be amazed on how this can change your life for the better.

Some aspects that I noticed ever since I started taking cold showers were:

1. Increased confidence
2. Procrastination vanished
3. Increased energy
4. Anxiety diminished
5. Skin cleared up

These were just some of the benefits I experienced in the first 2 weeks of doing cold showers.

So what are you waiting for?

One thing every elite warrior does is take action.

Lets take a page out of the Samurai playbook and work on strengthening our minds for anything life may throw!

Keep growing warrior!

How to Change Your Life by Changing Your Thinking

"No pessimist ever discovered the secrets of the stars, or sailed to an uncharted land, or opened a new heaven to the human spirit." - Helen Keller

Depending on where you are living, you could be waking up to spring daffodils and birdsong or, you may be shoveling out from the latest snowfall. Sometimes it feels as though nothing is happening and that today is just a repeat of yesterday. But, whatever your circumstances, remember, this too shall pass. Change is just around the corner.

How can you make the most out of what is or isn't happening in your life at this time? You may not be able to change your circumstances but how could you change your attitude toward your circumstances? What if you were to flip whatever you're telling yourself about your circumstances and re-frame it so that it empowers you? For instance, try removing the words, should, could, can't or never from your self-talk. Replace these with words that build you up rather than tear you down.

We are all engaged in too much negative self-talk. Just look around and you will see it reflected back in the world. The more we focus and talk about everything that is wrong in the world, the more we collectively seed the thought pool of lack and limitation. It's this all or nothing thinking that keeps us stuck in this endless pattern.

Wouldn't it be more fun to feast on thoughts and words that accentuate the positive in our lives? We can all do this by paying attention to what we think and say. As thoughts come up in your mind, notice how you feel. You can tell by the way you feel if your thoughts are uplifting or taking you in a downward spiral of negativity.

Watch what you say. Your words contain powerful energy. Whatever you say out loud acts like a boomerang and comes straight back to you. The point is, you have the power to choose in each moment which path you want to travel through life on. You don't have to go it alone. Find others who are stepping off the beaten path to support you. You could start a book group or join a group with others who may be interested personal growth. You can start right now to plant new seeds of positive thoughts then water them daily with positive affirmations.

You can change your life. One thought at a time.

Success and Winning Changes Everything

Success is the sum of all our small efforts. Winning isn't fast and easy. Our life is built one brick at a time and one moment at a time. But we can develop a wining attitude so that we can win.

Winning is something that builds us physically and mentally every day. You must be prepared for a roller coaster ride to win though. But that is to be expected, because winning is for the hard worker and for someone who wants it bad enough.

There are moments in life when you arrive at a crossroads. Either you keep doing the same thing with the same results or you change your life and do something completely different. Winners do the latter. Winners make a decision to win.

However, to win you must make quite a few small and some not so small tweaks in your life.

First, you have to choose your friends wisely. If they are putting you down all the time and pulling you off your path, you will never win. There is a chance that those friends are losers and want you to be as well so that they can feel comfortable hanging out with you.

Second, don't spend your time in worthless pursuits such as bar hopping or hanging out until all hours of the night. You are too busy and focused for this. This drains your energy and turns you into a loser.

Third, be focused on your goal-whatever it is. Success is commitment to the process. Successful people just put in the time honing their skills and getting better all the time. They are willing to do the work.

Fourth, winners don't expect to get easy rides. They know that it will be hard work. But they believe that it is worth it, and they are willing to put in the time and energy and make the sacrifices necessary.

Fifth, remember, you won't see results right away so don't expect them. But realize that once you are successful for a while, you will be propelled to continue to work hard until you win.

Sixth, there is no magic pill to be successful. Anyone who is willing to work hard will win. So, therefore, if you work hard, you too will win. You just must believe in yourself and trust the process.

Successful know how to win. They put in the hard work and they are willing to be focused on their goal to such an extent that they won't let anything get in the way of their pursuing it. Are you ready for the challenge? Can you decide to work past small burps in the road to your destination? All it takes is the will to win, and once you develop this will, your life will change forever.

Three Steps to Take Today to Get Your Work Off Your Hard Drive

Photo Of Woman Using Laptop

When your work, your writing, your ideas and your messages languish on your hard drive, not much good can show up from them. When you publish, create, write, build a video series or audio series, you can attract clients, attract business growth, build a legacy, and change the planet's consciousness.

Here are three steps you can take today to change the world, in some way, with your message.

The first is easier than it sounds: take inspired action.

The second is harder than it sounds: release the hold of judgment you fear from family, friends or well-meaning colleagues.

The third is vital and easily misunderstood: be strategic in how you take action. Choose among the venues and avenues for creation - blog, podcast, video series, book, eBook, webinar, speaking engagement.

So for the first action step, what can you build or create today that would change your life right away? Ask yourself these questions: can I make a video today? Can I record an MP3 audio today? Can I write a blog today? If you have work on your hard drive, ask yourself, what can I release or plan to release, today?

Next, you want to attack the judgment piece head-on. This is something some people call "the elephant in the room." When you fear recrimination, you might be stuck with lots of beautiful and inspirational messages that can't get out. To release this, first, commit to releasing the fear of judgment. Next, know that your trepidation could be awareness. What if some people judge you? Could you let that show up without blocking any of their perceptions? What if some people believe you are crazy? Since I personally communicate with spirit from the other side, this has happened to me a time or two. Could you let all the judgment show up and still honor your creations with expression? Yes, that. Today, commit to that. Or make a solid beginning.

And for the third step, choose a medium that is the most expressive for you. Begin with one medium, and by this I refer to an MP3 (audio) or an MP4 (video) or a written expression (blog, article or book). Choose some means of releasing some part of your message to the world. Tune into the audience: would it be more YouTube, Tumblr, Podcast or Amazon related? Would it like a hard piece of something to show for itself (a true CD or DVD or book on paper)? Would it be totally fine with online download-able content?

You aren't alone on this journey.

3 Things You Must Do to Achieve Your Goals

As we think about, and plan for next year - here's an idea - what if you set yourself up for success, instead of failure? There are 3 things you must do to achieve your goals, and potentially, change your life.

1. Know Yourself

People, in my experience, forget to take themselves, and how they behave into account when setting goals. They tend to consider what they want, and not consider what they must do to get it.

For example, if my goal is to exercise regularly, I might put "go to the gym" in my calendar three or four days a week. DONE! Woo hoo, I'm going to achieve my goal, right?! If it were that simple... here are some things to consider: Do I even look at my calendar regularly? Just because it's written down, will I do it or ignore it? What usually stops me when trying to achieve my goals? In the past, when I've achieved my goal, what process did I use that worked for me?

If you want to achieve your goals, the first step is to look at yourself realistically, without judgement, and take how you get things done into consideration.

2. Stretch 2 - 5 Steps Ahead of Where You Currently Are (and no further)

As my friend and colleague, Lisa Ferrer, points out, you can only manifest things that your mind believes. If you currently drive a Ford, it's probably too many steps ahead for your mind to believe that you're going to drive a Ferrari next year. Set your goals so they feel like a stretch and a little uncomfortable, in an exciting way. Remember, you can always stretch further. In fact, whenever we have our clients do vision boards, we use a frame that is easy to open so once they achieve the 2 - 5 step stretch, they can open the frame and add a picture of the next stretch goal.

Getting overly ambitious with your goals seems like a good thing to challenge yourself and move forward. Our experience with hundreds of clients is that being overly ambitious setting goals is detrimental to your overall results. So... what do you think about a new BMW?

3. Execute, Execute, Execute

A plan you execute is always more successful than a plan you don't. Make a list of all your goals. Look at all the things you want to accomplish and pick priorities. What is the one thing, if you accomplished that, would have the biggest impact? I went through this process myself a couple of years ago. After I made my list, I had over 20 goals written. I felt overwhelmed. I decided that exercising regularly would make everything else more reasonable to achieve because I would have more energy, my head would be clearer, and my body would be stronger. That year, I exercised seven days a week for over six months, and moved a bunch of other goals forward.

Pick your priorities, and focus on the goals that will have the biggest impact. Don't try to do too many things at a time, and remember, doing something is better than doing nothing.

You must take definitive action to achieve your goals, and these 3 steps are a must. Know yourself, and take how you get things done into consideration, and you will achieve more. Make your goal a stretch that is uncomfortably exciting, 2 - 5 steps ahead of where you currently are. When you achieve that, set the next goal. Lastly, you must execute on your goals to get them done!

Message From the Universe: Be Open Minded!

Two Woman Chatting

"Sometimes, finally seeing things from someone else's perspective can totally change your life.

Which, sometimes, explains exactly why they're there.

Spooké,
The Universe"

We can't always be set in our ways, all of the time. We get sometimes stuck on a process and find it difficult to get out of it. Since we've been working on this problem for a while, we seem to not see the solution that might be right in front of us. We get consumed by the issue and are not looking at the right places. It is important to allow someone else that is not involved in your venture to look at the issue with a fresh pair of eyes, which is return, can allow them to find a solution, yet, very obvious to you, but hard to see. Because of our implication on the project, obvious solutions aren't that easy to find, especially when we are not looking at the right places. Let the right people offer a hand and you might be surprised on how quick they can resolve your existing issue. Their aptitude is not always a requirement to find a specific kind of solution, because common sense gets involved in the process, regardless of the amount of knowledge you may have on the subject at hand.

When involving others, especially mentors, you may have a fresh perspective on what alternative plan could be available to resolve the existing issue. Being open minded to allowing others to help you find the solution doesn't show a sign of weakness or stupidity, but provides you with a better insights as to what can be the best probable solution to your existing challenge. Admitting your limitations is a sign of respect to yourself, that it is OK not to know EVERYTHING. You are allowed to be weak in certain areas of your life, and this is why others are around you to help you get past these problematic scenarios. You are not the ONLY human on Earth with weaknesses and always remember to avoid, at all costs, to compare these weaknesses with someone else's strength. Nothing good will ever come out of it.
