The Big "What If"

Woman Holding Bonzai Tree

What you genuinely want does matter, not the silly "what if" questions you have about it, if the goal is right for you do not matter. Let me explain: Reality as we all can feel genetically from birth pretty much is a double-edged sword of sorts and there is a certain way we all must swim if we want to live off of the fat of the land and be genuinely rich in our hearts and souls. So, here is the measuring rod to whether your goal is right for you.

  1. Is it important to you?
  2. Does it feel good?
  3. Is it moral?
  4. Is it realistic?
I put "does it feel good?" before "is it moral?" for this reason to answer one of the deepest questions in life: This question appeals totally to your intuition and conscience exactly in that pecking order and nothing more. If you cannot answer question two successfully, you automatically cannot touch question three or four, even if question one is approved by others, supposedly. Let me put it another way even if that way is kind of controversial in some ways: So, let us say that you were Adolf Hitler with a choice to make about life at a time where it could go either way, and you had the power of those four questions to make the right choice quite clear in your mind. Would the same line of events have happened? Or would everything have happened differently? My point is that, even someone as evil as Adolf Hitler seemed with that choice would want to benefit themselves, really, and if they had the chance they would probably change fates or choices to accommodate that reality instead of going for that quick glory that ruins everything. That is the crux of my point, and that should show clearly the realistic import of an important, good feeling, moral and realistic goal that lines up with your intuition and conscience. But without that line up, you cannot benefit anyone or anything, especially yourself. Everything is and feels like just one big "No".
When everything lines up, everything is one big yes, even if you do fail at first, you know what is right and you stick to it until you genuinely do succeed. Is that simpler than the answer I gave above, or what? Then again, everything being what it is, we can try to lie to ourselves and never really succeed, just like Adolf Hitler if he followed the same life path with those honestly come by realities in his head right down to the cyanide bullets bitten. So, what you want genuinely does matter, when you do feel the answers accurately like Michael Jackson felt the song, music, moves and dance was right to make the money he made. I am also saying that if you go against the right feeling and attempt to lie to yourself, it will destroy you. Also, Michael Jackson knew the pain medication and artificial sleep drugs would destroy him, of course, indeed though at that level, he lied deeply to himself. After all, all of his genuine allies said he "had it together" on the stage very well, of course. It was off the stage in his "normal life" and reality, he was a "nutty mess". I also, mention this part as a warning, it is better to "have it together" in reality than to have a great show going on outside of reality if you get what I mean by now.

So, with all that said, what would you rather have? A great fantasy? Or a great reality where everything genuinely checks out successfully with that first question about "is it important?" answered well, and all the questions checking out right down to "is it realistic?" We all decide, and it is clear we do. The reality about human nature is:

"Character cannot be developed in ease and quiet. Only through experience of trial and suffering can the soul be strengthened, ambition inspired, and success achieved." Helen Keller
The key is there, open the door and go on through. I have the benefit of being honest with you about it all. If you want better, it has to be earned, not given. Thank you for reading.

Life Challenges Me, Then I Wonder (By Liah Howard)

As a psychic, people often ask me, "What is my purpose? Why am I here?"

While there can be many different answers to those questions in terms of one's life path, career path and destiny, ultimately there is only one reason why we are all here. I believe Alana Fairchild said it best in her book, The Rumi Oracle.

She writes, "... The purpose of the soul incarnating in this world in the first place is to realize its divinity through the sacred crucible of life... "

How do we live in a sacred crucible of life and how do we realize our divinity? According to Google's dictionary, the word sacred means "connected with God (or the Gods)... " The definition of a crucible is "a situation of severe trial, in which different elements interact, leading to the creation of something new." For example, "their relationship was forged in the crucible of war." When we unite these two words, sacred and crucible and apply them personally, the purpose of living is to allow life to turn up the heat and melt away all that is not true to our divine nature, so that we are transformed. Through this transformation, we remember our connection to one another, to nature and to the divine as souls.

Like the soldiers in the foxhole facing death, we must be willing to face our own deaths as well. This doesn't mean just our physical death, it can refer to the loss of a role we have played, a career we have had or a belief we have held. One of the most courageous paths we can walk within the context of "the sacred crucible," is to challenge our long-standing beliefs and allow them to burn up as fuel for our awakening.

When we become vulnerable and honest about our insecurities and doubts, we can transform them. When we become willing to see ourselves from a higher perspective and act accordingly, then the divine can lift us and carry us to a new realization of who we are and why we are here. Within this crucible of change, we come to know who we are beyond our former definition of ourselves.

Life is constantly inviting us to reinvent our lives. There is a strong inner calling that beckons us back to wholeness and to transmute feelings of separation, inferiority, lack or shame. All things in nature seek to grow. We are here to remember our soul's blueprint and to grow beyond all concepts of duality, death and fear. The purpose of life is for the soul to realize its divinity. Our divine selves know that this world is temporal and that no matter what, there is a peace beyond all understanding that exists in the core of each of us. So the next time the universe strips away your cloak of "I've got it all together" and leaves you standing naked in the rain, know that you are in the sacred crucible. Remember that you are the perfect expression of the divine in action and humbly bow and say "OK, what next?"

When we surrender, we open to new possibilities as yet, unseen. In stillness, we can hear the voice of our soul; the voice that tells us to let go and trust that all is well. If we allow ourselves to be remade in the sacred crucible of our life experiences, we will ultimately realize that who we are is limitless.

Trouble, the Transportation to Transformation

Image result for reach destination

Just in the midst of our gentle walk through life along comes trouble, trouble everywhere; the shortest walk we ever take in life is the walk towards trouble. The one constant is that it never arrives alone. Everyone gets their turn at meeting this undesirable companion; it happens when we are being remodeled to become something more. Trouble is the method of transportation.

Many times trouble is accompanied by losses, one right after the other. It is a shedding of the old that will no longer be needed as we become the new. What is without dispute is that a multitude of methods may be employed to take what you have but no one can take what you are destined to become. This is the joker in the deck that can trump every other card! By whatever method Is available, we all become what we are being reshaped to be.

Being forced to travel a road that is particularly difficult signifies the depth of the change we are being prepared for. It is also an indicator of how far off our chosen path we may have strayed. There are very definitive steps in the process. Just as a package is dropped into the mailbox, picked up, dropped at the post office, sorted and transported to the next facility and then on and on until it arrives at the desired destination, there are short, temporary stays on the way for humans. There will be times when the package will be temporarily out of place until it is delivered. So too is the human who is becoming; the life path will make short stops to readjust and be rerouted in order to be successfully delivered. This may leave one feeling like they are totally out of place. It is a part of the plan on the way to being delivered to the destination. Setbacks are set ups for success!

Take heart if you are in this process. Trouble prods you on down the road and forces turns that you may not have dared in the past. Those uncomfortable places where you feel stalled and stuck are the times to pay close attention. Even though you are certain you have no need to learn the lesson before you rest assured that just down the path you will need everything you have learned there to successfully navigate to your destination. You are on the way to a successful delivery to your highest and best good!

Perhaps the best part of this transformation in knowing that once you have learned these lessons and become balanced and confident in the 'new you' life will have prepared you and made you strong enough to charge the gates of hell with a water pistol... and win!

What Makes an Energy Healer Powerful?

Image result for healer

The quality of her consciousness.

A healer is powerful when he or she:

  • Is a clear open channel for healing energies.
  • Has clearly focused intention.
  • Is grounded.
  • Is open to infinite possibilities.
  • Is heart-centered.
  • Is filled with integrity.
Let's explore these qualities together.

A powerful healer is a clear open channel for healing energies.
To be a "clear open channel" requires that a healer continually works on herself to raise her consciousness and maintain her openness to receive and work with the highest frequencies possible.

This means that the person is committed to her own spiritual path and to their service as a healer. Working on oneself includes, but is not limited to these activities.

  1. Eliminates limited thinking and beliefs that can interfere with bringing through healing energies.
  2. Knows how to manage her own emotions so that they don't get "dumped" onto the one receiving the healing.
  3. Clears one's own channels daily so that more energy and a wider variety of frequencies can be channeled for purposes of healing.
  4. Begins each session with a prayer asking to be a "clear channel" and ends each session by clearing herself, the healing space, and everyone in that space.
A powerful healer has clearly focused intention.
For a healer, a clear, focused intention requires three things:

  • Knowing what your own intentions are as a healer.
  • Asking the one receiving the healing to tell you their intentions
  • Making sure that your intentions and your client's intentions are aligned.
Aligning your intention as a healer with the intention of your client is very important because:

  1. Putting your own intentions over those of the one receiving the healing violates higher law and creates karma for the healer.
  2. Setting intentions that do not align with the life path and higher purpose of the one receiving the healing can cause problems for that being down the road.
  3. Muddled intention leads to muddled results.
A powerful healer is grounded.
To heal, you must be grounded, meaning that your consciousness must be present in all parts of your own physical body and connected to the Earth!

  1. A healer cannot heal issues in the lower parts of their own body unless she is willing to be fully present with therein.
  2. To fully experience your life path, you have to be fully in all your energy bodies.
  3. A powerful healer is grounded so she can assist her clients to also become grounded.
  4. A powerful healer is Open to Infinite Possibilities.
Being open to infinite possibilities opens the door for miracles.

By setting that intention, the healer gets him/herself out of the way so that healing can happen.

A powerful healer is heart centered.
Being consciously heart centered means you are more likely to offer Divine Love and Compassion to your clients, and that is the basis for powerful healing.

A powerful healer is filled with integrity.
"Integrity" means having coherence within yourself because all your "parts" are fully integrated.

"Integrity" means that you say what you mean, mean what you say, and follow through with your commitments.

"Integrity" means telling yourself the truth about yourself. "To thine own self be true." Only when you do that, can you be honest with others.

"Integrity" is necessary for trust. If you have integrity, all parts of you trust yourself, and others can trust you, too. To be a powerful healer, you must be trustworthy.

How to decide if a healer is the best match for you.

When seeking an energy healer, you can determine to what degree someone meets these criteria by asking your body to help you sense or feel whether the person is a good match for you, your animal, or another family member.
  • You can use muscle testing, a pendulum, or just tune into your own body.
  • Think of the healer you are considering contacting.
  • Go through the list of characteristics and ask, in each case, to what degree you feel this person meets the criteria.
