5 Simple Holiday "No Stress" Survival Tips

The traditional intentions for the holidays are family, friends, food and socializing. Chanukah, Christmas, Advent, Kwanza, Yule... so many cultural events, this is the spirit of the season. Yet, it is well known that there is also a risk of stress and overwhelm.

Winter is a season of celebration, it is also the season of the element of water. Water can be turbulent and have us flailing and feeling like we are drowning. It can also be a season of rest, renewal, and going with the flow.

My intention is to share simple tips for helping you to choose rest and renewal. Guiding you to navigate the energies and emotions and arrive at the new year rested, renewed, and ready to create and prosper. My gift to you and your gift to yourself.

Following are a few simple tips to help you balance the fun doing and the restful yin energy of the winter water element and enjoy a holiday with less or no stress.

The ideas are simple and may be familiar. However you relate to them please receive them as reminder-invites to be in practice.

I invite you to:

  1. Join the fun - Remember it is your holiday too! This sounds simple but often we focus on giving, creating, and making it wonderful for everyone else and forgetting it is our holiday too. For years I was guilty of working to create the holiday then sitting back to observe while others enjoyed my creations. My energy and appreciation for the season changed when I put myself first and remembered to join in the fun and celebration.
  2. Be Sense-uous - At least once a day, stop the doing, breathe and take in the spirit of the holiday with all of your senses. By pausing, breathing and bringing your whole being to the experience it will feel like a mini-retreat. The other day, I stopped along Sixth Avenue to take in a deep breath and enjoy the fragrance of the pine trees for sale on the sidewalk.
  3. Boundaries - Allow yourself to set boundaries on your time and energy. Be intentional about your time, your eating, your drinking, your helping, and when you say "Yes" or say "No". Some days will be all about the party and others will be about your needs and desires. It is OK to say "No" when you are doing too much. The winter element calls us to simplify, let go, and conserve energy whenever possible.
  4. Big-Kid-friendly - Be sure to add some mindful and mindless fun to your holiday. Get in touch with your inner child, reveling in art, music, and play. Be intentional about activities that get you out of your head with all the thinking and planning and into a lighter body and mind. It can be as simple as joining your children, grandchildren or pet on the floor with their toys, building a snowman or flying a kite. As long as it includes some movement, laughter, or using your hands more than your head.
  5. Retreat & Renew - Plan time just for you. This may be a quick break during the busyness or more time after the holidays. Put it on the calendar NOW! It can be part of a day, a whole day or more. It may be a day you enjoy being home alone with a bath, book, and music, or going out to a spa. A day of art and creativity or a walk in the woods. A day when you enjoy your first nap in years, or maybe a simple day with nothing on the calendar. Even if you don't know what you will do, set the time aside and put the date on your calendar now.

5-D Time Is Not Linear. It's a Spiral. It's About the Now Moment, and Divine Right Timing

Were you taught to make lists of things that you have to get done?

Do you enjoy checked them off?

Do you sometimes add things you've finished to the list just for the joy of crossing them off as done?

Were you taught to feel pressured to meet deadlines?

Do you become more productive as the deadline nears?

Were you taught that time is limited and you can "run out" of time?

Do you have anxiety issues around be late?

These lessons were all about living in 3-D limitation. In that reality, the onset of technology changed our relationship with time.

Before the Industrial Revolution, time was about seasons (summer, fall, winter, spring) and about the movement of the zodiac.

Before the Industrial Revolution, humanity lived in harmony with nature. We followed the subtle messages of when to do what was needed, such as plant and harvest crops, sleep and wake up, eat meals, and so on.

While sun dials existed, the length of daylight hours changed every day, expanding in summer and shrinking in winter. Time was malleable and different each day in harmony with nature.

After the Industrial Revolution, our experience of time changed because machines don't need to sleep and production on a factory assembly line has to be precisely coordinated.

After the Industrial Revolution, we became chained to clocks and watches and schedules and the needs of machines. We forgot how it was to live in the NOW moment, close to nature, because we allowed technology to dominate our lives.

The focus was all about getting up with an alarm clock, starting our day "on time," moving through the day "on time," getting places "on time," completing tasks "on time." We set up "time zones" around the planet. Then we started playing games with time, such as moving the clocks forwards or backwards an hour twice a year - just to keep us off balance.

All of this is entirely artificial, not natural.

The shift into the Fifth Dimension is about letting go of linear time.

Linear time is the idea that there is a past, a present moment, and a future, all on a straight line, and that our lives move from the past, into the present moment, and then into the future.

Linear time is about a straight line going in only one direction.

Linear time is an illusion.

You can only live in the NOW moment.

Only the NOW moment exists.

Each and every moment is a NOW moment.

The Past is gone.

The Past no longer exists because it's outside the NOW Moment.

The Future doesn't exist until it becomes the NOW moment.

You can imagine visiting the past, like watching a movie on a DVD and doing a "rewind" to view an earlier scene, or watching the same movie many times.

The past is a concept, not a place, and doesn't exist any more. You can't go there in 3-D. You can only remember it, and while that might seem like you traveled into the past, you didn't.

You can imagine and create all kinds of futures, too. Some of what you imagine seems to arrive more quickly and more easily because of your expectations, but in truth, you create in each NOW moment what you choose to experience in the next NOW moment.

For most of our 3-D experience, time moved very slowly. This was because everything vibrated at a much slower rate.

That's why some things you intended to manifest didn't show up for lifetimes. Others took years and years to appear. As we moved into the last 25 years of the 20th Century, the acceleration began.

Since 2000, even the acceleration has accelerated. And 2020 is continuing to gain speed, faster and faster!

In 2020, everything is accelerating because everything vibrates faster and faster and faster. This makes the "future" seem to appear more rapidly.

This is why you'd do well to monitor your thoughts and choose carefully what you want to experience. At some point, whatever you think will immediately appear, before you have a chance to say, "Wait - that's not what I really want."

At some point, whatever you think

will appear immediately,

before you even have a chance to say,

"Wait... that's NOT what I really want."

Whatever you focus on and energize is what you are creating in each NOW moment.

In this NOW moment, some things take longer to create than others because they require that certain other things or situations or energies be in place first. Often you don't understand this, so you become impatient when something you intend to create doesn't show up right away.

In this NOW moment, some things take longer to create because you keep changing your mind about what you want. When you do that, everyone assisting you in the higher realms has to stop what they're doing and make changes that will bring about your chosen experience.

Your Soul, I Am Presence, Angels, and Spirit Guides have a greater awareness of what energies and patterns have to be put into place before what you choose to manifest will appear in your life. They work behind the scenes, so to speak, to bring all the energies and patterns together to fulfill your requests.

It can be helpful to send them love and support and appreciation for all the work they do for you.

In addition, you may be choosing something that you may not be quite ready for, even if you believe you're ready for it. Subtle changes may be necessary for you to fully experience what you are choosing.

This is where the concept of "Divine Right Timing" comes into play.

When your chosen manifestation doesn't show up immediately, it can be helpful to acknowledge and request that it will appear... in Divine Right Timing.

Divine Right Timing means that it will appear at the most auspicious, perfect moment for your personal benefit.

You may not know when that is, but your I Am Presence knows because that aspect of you is multidimensional.

When you live in many dimension, each with it's own frequency patterns and speeds, you have more awareness and knowledge of the process of manifestation at it's subtlest levels.

Divine Right Timing is about trust, about giving up control of what you seek to create so the forces of Divine Consciousness can take over and complete the manifestation process.

TIME IS A SPIRAL and so is everything else. This video illustrates how are solar system moves in the spiral through our galaxy:

So remember... time is a spiral. Everything moves in a spiral. And the only moment you can access is the NOW moment.

This awareness will make your transition into 5-D Living easier.

How to Nail This One Step of the Law of Attraction

I realized something pretty interesting the other day. Yes the energy we put out comes back to us, but there is something much deeper going on underneath the surface. If you can nail this one law of attraction step, you will truly step into a place of being able to create more of your dreams!

There is a lot of discussion on how what we put out comes back to us. From an energetic perspective. So if we are feeling overwhelmed or stressed out, we will get back more in our life to be overwhelmed and stressed out about, like unexpected bills, getting stuck in traffic, clients having issues, etc. On the flip side, if we are relaxed and happy, we receive more back that makes us feel relaxed and happy, like new opportunities, finances increasing, a surprise from a loved one, etc.

BUT... here's the kicker...

It's not that these things are magically showing-up, we're creating them! And I'm talking about this being deeper than just the law of attraction (LOA). Per the LOA, if you're miserable, you will attract more into your life to be miserable about.

As an aside, a mentor once explained the whole attraction thing like this and it made perfect sense. It's not so much that you're attracting these things into your life and they're magically appearing, they're already there. It's more about what you're seeing. So if you're saying that you want success, but deep down you don't feel worthy enough, you're putting out an unworthy energy.

You will not see the solution that is already there to create the success you're wanting because your energy doesn't match it. You literally will not see the next step or opportunity that is right there waiting for you. You will miss it. You need to feel worthy and positive in order to see the solution. Since the solution is positive, you need to feel positive to see it and receive it. >>

It's all about the feeling.

So now back to my revelation.

I am going to take the above concept even further. It's more than just operating on the same frequency as what you are asking for, i.e. more peace, love, abundance, etc.

It's that you're making decisions from this place.

Your decisions have energy.

So when you are overwhelmed, you are really attracting / seeing, whatever you want to call it, more decisions that are in alignment with that energy.

It's the decision that is causing what you are creating.

If you're overwhelmed, you will make decisions from this place. You're thinking at a low vibration and therefore so are your decisions. You continue to take on more then you should, you have poor boundaries, you don't give yourself enough time, you are making yourself crazy with plans! These poor decisions keep you in overwhelm. It goes round and round, until you become aware of it and make a different, more empowered choice.

By contrast, if you're feeling relaxed and happy, you make decisions from this place. You decide to do more that brings you joy and peace. You make more time for yourself, and what you love (like exercising & meditating), and you are conscious about how you are spending your time. You are making empowered decisions that lead to empowered results.

And here's the real gem. Wait for it... YOU LET GO EASIER!

Of the drama, the stories that keep you in other people's business, the gossip, the high expectations and the hurt feelings.

You let go of this stuff sooo much faster - the expression "letting it roll off your back" rings true. If you even realize it's on your back to begin with.

Hmm.

So let's look at A) how you're feeling deep down, and B) how you're making decisions. Shift the decision, shift the energy, shift what you're creating.

Creative Brainstorming: How to Channel Your Best Ideas to Create a Winning Product

Creative Brainstorming is that phase in the production process that is all about idea-generation. Some of the best ideas known to man have been thought up during this phase. But just what happens during the brainstorming phase? It's hard to pinpoint exactly how brainstorming occurs because it can be different for different people. But we have focused in on some of the most important elements of brainstorming that aid in the creative process.

THE THEORY OF EVERYTHING

In science there is an idea about "the theory of everything," which implies that every single idea or thing came from one central original thing. It's an interesting idea and can be applied somewhat to the idea of creative brainstorming. Consider brainstorming as the generating of numerous ideas that come from one major concept. From this major concept you can brainstorm various subtopics that can fall under the main topic and then further expand from there. This technique is good when you need one major concept from which you can build specific details and ideas that surround the central theme. This sort of brainstorming often works well with "mind maps," which take the idea of growing ideas from one major concept and expanding out.

IDENTIFY GOALS

Once you have let all of the creative ideas out in the open, you will want to focus on your goals. Whether it be for more sales in your business, more engagement from readers (as an author), or just more interest in your ideas, you need to decide what it is that you wish to accomplish from your efforts. This will guide your brainstorming so that it won't include every single thing, but begin to be more focused toward reaching the goals you have set forth.

WEEDING YOUR GARDEN

In this phase of creative brainstorming, you will want to consider each and every idea that your team through out in the initial brainstorming session, while always considering what you should eliminate to fine-tune the concept. For example, if your central idea is to expand your Human Resources department, in the weeding phase, you will want to focus on all of the ideas that you think you could feasible carry out within your organization and weed out those that you don't have the budget for, or which are not practical within your work environment. Don't forget though to also brainstorm ways you could try new ideas, including outsourcing work when needed, in order to meet your goals.

FINE-TUNING THE IDEA INTO A MARKETABLE CONCEPT

Steve Jobs once said, "There is a quantum leap between an idea and a marketable product." There is a lot of truth in this. So when engaging in creative brainstorming, you will eventually want to fine-tune the idea into "what sells?" In other words, while money is not the entire goal, you should always keep the practical aspects of your idea in mind, and how it will sell once on the market. You must also brainstorm what market your finished product will likely fit into as well.

FROM CONCEPT TO PRODUCT

During the process of brainstorming, you will want to not only brainstorm about your product or idea, but also about the market that you plan to put your product in. By knowing your specific market, you should be able to fit the needs of your customers more to your product, thereby increasing your sales and loyalty to your product over the long haul.

Creativity in brainstorming is not hard. But it involves going through the stages from original concept to production, so that you not only focus on the idea but also on the end result. In business, this is as important as the creative process itself and it keeps the creative process focusing on end product, so that there is more of a fit between what you create and the customers' needs and wants. In creative arts like writing or music composition, for example, it will help you to fine-tune the art that you put out so that your work not only inspires the imagination but also finds its audience.

Your Presence Is an Everyday Projection of Who You Are

Man in Black Suit Jacket Wearing White Headphones

To live life fully ought to be mandatory. If it were, it would instantly be the cause of forming an action group to protest about the invasion of one's individual liberty and freedom of choice. It would, also, need to take into consideration the many examples of individuals who are constrained, through no personal fault, because of incapacity, physical or otherwise, from fully engaging and participating in life's opportunities and challenges.

Limited though one's opportunity may be, for whatever reasons, the morning brings an additional 24 hours that need to be met and confronted and if one has the physical and mental capacity to engage, it seems a terrible waste of the value of that time not to exploit it and maximize what ever opportunity it presents or allows us to create.

Only a limited number of Einsteins grace the Earth but each individual brings a unique package that composes their own persona and allows them create an insight, perspective and comprehension of what each day presents. It is in that space that the individual has the capacity to triumph; to see, appreciate and interpret those day-to-day situations and circumstances and stamp their meaning on them; it is within those internal contemplative configurations that, while perhaps only lasting seconds, the individual has ownership of how they perceive and how they will respond or react to the world around them.

All of the incidents and instances of life are made up of those milliseconds and either fade into oblivion or grow into something of benefit and value depending on how they are first conceived, perceived, interpreteded.and actioned.

In the day-to-day manifestations of those instances, we each have opportunity to assess how best we may respond with the gifts we have at our disposal to create something of use to others from what is presented. We ought not to wait for the, "Big Bang", type of occasion or opportunity. There are frequently chances to offer just a word of kindness,;offer a helping hand to someone struggling with a heavy load; offer a meal or drink to someone seeking help; offer to shake the hand of a stranger and welcome them into your community; offer a compliment to a stranger serving in a store or driving your bus; write a note of thanks or encouragement to someone in need.

There are many opportunities that we pass each day when a little effort and awareness on our part could just make that difference.

Three Steps to Take Today to Get Your Work Off Your Hard Drive

Photo Of Woman Using Laptop

When your work, your writing, your ideas and your messages languish on your hard drive, not much good can show up from them. When you publish, create, write, build a video series or audio series, you can attract clients, attract business growth, build a legacy, and change the planet's consciousness.

Here are three steps you can take today to change the world, in some way, with your message.

The first is easier than it sounds: take inspired action.

The second is harder than it sounds: release the hold of judgment you fear from family, friends or well-meaning colleagues.

The third is vital and easily misunderstood: be strategic in how you take action. Choose among the venues and avenues for creation - blog, podcast, video series, book, eBook, webinar, speaking engagement.

So for the first action step, what can you build or create today that would change your life right away? Ask yourself these questions: can I make a video today? Can I record an MP3 audio today? Can I write a blog today? If you have work on your hard drive, ask yourself, what can I release or plan to release, today?

Next, you want to attack the judgment piece head-on. This is something some people call "the elephant in the room." When you fear recrimination, you might be stuck with lots of beautiful and inspirational messages that can't get out. To release this, first, commit to releasing the fear of judgment. Next, know that your trepidation could be awareness. What if some people judge you? Could you let that show up without blocking any of their perceptions? What if some people believe you are crazy? Since I personally communicate with spirit from the other side, this has happened to me a time or two. Could you let all the judgment show up and still honor your creations with expression? Yes, that. Today, commit to that. Or make a solid beginning.

And for the third step, choose a medium that is the most expressive for you. Begin with one medium, and by this I refer to an MP3 (audio) or an MP4 (video) or a written expression (blog, article or book). Choose some means of releasing some part of your message to the world. Tune into the audience: would it be more YouTube, Tumblr, Podcast or Amazon related? Would it like a hard piece of something to show for itself (a true CD or DVD or book on paper)? Would it be totally fine with online download-able content?

You aren't alone on this journey.

The Difference Between Creativity and Innovation

I think creativity is indeed thinking up new concepts/things. Innovation is making this new concept/thing practical in a novel way. Creativity is dreaming up a new invention and innovation is making it real in ones own unique way. When you bring something new into existence you can say you created it. You cannot say you innovated it. And again when you improve something that already exists you cannot say you created it but you can say you innovated it.

Henry Ford created the assembly line for car production. The Japanese perfected this concept by introducing their own unique innovations/changes/improvements. Lots of people are creative but they are not innovate enough to make their creations practical. Innovation makes creativity practical and efficient. Most inventors fail because they are not innovative enough. Most painters are creative but when they introduce innovation in their creation/art they become artists. Without creativity there is no product/concept that needs implementation and once something new is thought up it needs innovation. Research and development is about innovation. Sometimes innovation can lead to a realization of the creation being impractical and so this new creative idea may be abandoned and a new creative idea may be born thus innovation may lead to creativity. Innovation is giving a new direction to an existing idea.

There is confusion and fuzziness between creativity and innovation because indeed innovation is about creating new ways to implement the existing/created concept. Thus they both have creativity in them. Innovation also involves elements of creativity.

All PhD courses are for researching innovative ways of doing the old stuff in better and more efficient ways. Innovation is about solving existing problems. At a deeper level innovation is research. At the research institutes they are creating better and better innovations for existing solutions. One does not require a PhD for creativity but for innovation at the cutting edge highest level a PhD is almost an essential requirement. In fact at the university level innovation is preferred over creativity. For any newly created ideas are doubted till they can be scientifically defined, measured and tested and this involves complex and time consuming investigations not to mention finances. However anything that is already in use and has proved its utility then any improvement through innovation is accepted whole heartedly. My own invention, 'Vacuum power generators' is based on a sound principle that, 'nature abhors a vacuum'; however it was rejected at the highest levels of the US government because of another sound principle 'The law of conservation of energy'. The law of conservation of energy says that the energy you put in will give back less due to friction. But in nature there are exceptions to this law! Hydrolic pressure, fulcrum power all give back more energy then they take in. And vacuum power is the fulcrum of wind power. But it is an unproven and too radical an idea and also requires tons of money to make a proto type. On the other hand my little innovation of tweaking a little improvement in the baby milk bottle I was able to sell right away.

Creativity is essential for innovation for a product must exist at least in a concept stage for you cannot innovate anything that does not exist. Thus innovation depends on creativity while creativity does not depend on innovation. Though the better success of creativity depends on innovation.

Creativity = Invention while Innovation = improvements = changes to make it effective and efficient = making it practical = researching new ways to produce and improve creativity = the act of producing the same concept in a newer and improved form.

Developing Your Creative Genius

Do you wonder why it is important to understand our true birth identity? Do you know your spiritual gifts and talents? The answer to these two questions might spark an interest in getting to know more about the creative genius in which you are. You are born with the ability to create and manifest and you may have noticed that in elementary school. There are three strategies that can help you develop your creative genius.

Connect to Your Intuition

The first strategy is to take the time out to be still and quiet your mind in some form of meditation and mindfulness practices. This will allow for you to connect to your intuition, which is your higher self, or creative force that allows you to connect with your inner child. It's the part of your soul that allows you to create and imagine all the possibilities in which you can take to carry out your dreams. Your intuition gives you divine guidance on which step to take next and how to present your creative works in the form that works for your gifts and talents.

Take Time Out to Practice

The second strategy is to take the time out to practice your gift. It's not the time to perfect it, but it allows your creative juices to flow and allow you to create work much more effective and within less time. You may discover during this practice time that more gifts are revealed to you that will help you finalize any of your creative works. For instance, as you are in creative meditation, you may discover that you should also add in a new layer to your chosen creative works as practice allows for your intuition to be in sync as you are creating.

Serve Humanity with Your Gift

The last strategy to developing your creative genius is to share it with the World. Your gifts and talents will make room for you and it is important to have the confidence to share your creative works with the world so that it can help them. People will also give you constructive feedback about your creative works and their feedback will continue to help you refine your gifts and talents. Before you know it, you will be achieving a new level of creative genius.

It is your divine birth right to live boldly and intuitively! After all, You are a Creative Genius!

17 Pretexts Why Most People Are Giving Up Way Too Easily

It appears that often, most of us are giving up way too easily when it comes to make a change or create something new in our lives. We begin by getting excited and captivated, but when we come across obstacles that are in our way, we decide to let our emotions get the best of us and give up.
Why does it happen? Why do people give up on things dear to their heart? Why have you given up on some of your dreams?

At the start, you get excessively happy to pursue a goal. You are even enthusiastic about it. You believe that it is something worth doing, something you want to master but after a while, when the euphoric emotions start to fade away, you often feel disappointed and walk away from the all thing.

This topic is a subject that takes me to heart! It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure why most people call it quit way so easily. Typically, it is often because their goal gets too hard or it just takes too long. Unfortunately, people have all kinds of pretexts for giving in after a couple of failures.

But failure is a part of the process to success and is going to happen no matter what you do. You are always going to encounter walls, barriers, obstacles. It is normal in the beginning to be inexperienced or clueless about what you are doing.

"Every master was once a beginner, and every pro began as an amateur" - Robin Sharma

The Need to Face Your Difficulties
You should realize that obstacles in your way will not vanish, but you can get ready for them. You can prepare to overcome these walls, barriers, obstacles and even the doubts you have. As you progress, you get to learn more, practice more, and build more commitment towards your goal which in turn prepares you even better for difficulties that may arise.

Often, when you are facing problems, your emotions get in the way and try to take control. These feelings are not helping you to achieve the success you desire. During those times, you do not see the prospect of the long-term rewards because these protecting reactions only care about the present and not the future.

The primary cause people do not get what they desire is because they give up way too soon. Success may have been around the corner. Have you given up on things before? If you are anything that is human, you probably did.

At some point in life, we all packed it up and walked away. Do you remember the times where you have decided or tried something and then quit when it became too hard? How many times have you put off taking action until later, because you felt like it was not the right time?

The fact of the matter is that many of us give up far too rapidly! So, why do most people give up so easily? Here are my top 17 pretexts which people are using when giving up. I added a tip to each reason to get around it.

1. Lack of Determination
Understand that by having a lack of determination, all you worked so hard for will be gone the instant you choose to give up. You have control over this kind of decision. No one can do it for you or give you this willpower.

It is your duty to finish what you've started. If you can persist, be consistent, carry on with your efforts, and do not give up, you will inevitably arrive where you want.

2. Unbelief in Your Abilities
At one point in your life, someone close to you told you that you could not do it, and you did believe those words. Next time a person says such thing, begin to read biographies of people who have succeeded against all the odds knowing that such words have no power whatsoever.

The ultra-marathoner David Goggins has a video which is very inspirational. If you have never seen it, you should watch it. Do not worry; I will be here when you have finished.

3. Someone Else's Goal
If you ever work for someone else or had goals chosen by relatives for you, you know what I am talking about. These targets that are not yours! It is tough to keep being motivated if you feel that this is not your purpose in life.

You need to choose your own goals, take possession of them and act.

4. Life is Already Good
You should realize that the better your life, the more you feel tempted to let things the way they are. You might think that your life is good enough, so you settle, and give up on going further.

Let me tell you that no matter how good your life now is, it can always improve. Therefore, next time you feel like settling or stagnating, think about the facets of your life you dislike and focus on cultivating them.

5. Not Desire to Put Time in
Do not underestimate the time it takes to complete specific goals because you then get overwhelmed and have no desire to put the required time in.

You do not need more time; you just need to use it more efficiently. Focus on your priorities which are the most important things first. Use the Pareto Principle and spend 80% of your time on what will get you the most results, instead of just looking busy.

6. No Self-Confidence
When making changes or starting something new, you need self-belief, self-confidence. If there are any doubts about your abilities to succeed, you will have the desire to want to give up.

When I need a boost in my self-confidence, I close my eyes, take a deep breath and recall all of my skills, experiences, knowledge, as well as other assets I have.

7. Not Wanting to Do the Hard Work
The road to success is everything but an easy one. In adding to the issue of time, the difficulty comes into play. As soon as something is getting harder than you thought, it can be discouraging but know that the goals you should be most proud of are usually the most challenging.

If something is harder than you thought, it is time to work harder than you should. Strengthen and cultivate the abilities you need to progress so that over time, things will get easier.

8. Absence of Focus
What keep you from focusing nowadays are all the many distractions you have, which takes your time away from aiming at the important stuff! Social Media is an excellent example of that! The absence of focus leads to unproductive efforts which incline you to quit.

Create time by switching off or logging off social media sites and turn off your phone's notifications. This way, you will stay focused on the task at hand.

9. Interruptions
Interruptions and distractions might be coming by way of other people, television, phone or noise. You should know that it is impossible to jump from one goal to another, as you never feel or find that you are making any progress forward.

You should avoid any interruptions by finding a place where you will be in peace. Work on one thing at a time. Efficiency is the key here.

10. No Immediate Results
Today, everyone is a hurry to get instant gratification. But remember that anything worthwhile creating takes much time, and each flower needs time to blossom.

The more you work towards your goals; day in and day out, the earlier you will achieve them.

11. Very Little Reward
By working so hard and put in all that time, you thought you would have better outcomes. You get disappointed because your goal does not transform into the desired results. A lot of people give up easily when it feels like they are working hard for nothing.

You have to set mini milestones along your path and bit by bit you will see the rewards. Success will not come overnight to transform your life. As in any sport or as for any athlete, you need to train and practice to master.

12. No Enthusiasm or Inspiration
As you start making a change or creating something new, you feel full of enthusiasm and you are inspired and motivated. Then these feelings start to wear off, and you realize it is not that easy. Your inspiration fades away, and you just abandon.

Just think about your end goal, and remember why you are doing this. Remember what inspired you about your objective and put emphasis on those features.

13. Habits are Difficult to Change
Getting started is not always the hard part. The awkward phase is often getting rid of your habits or lifestyle, and to replace them. Changing a pattern is not an easy thing to do. There is also the fear of a new habit and the appeal of an old one.

You have to focus on your progress, not perfection. Realize that falling back sometime into old patterns is a normal reaction. Personal change is like taking two steps forward and one step back. What is crucial is to keep momentum to move forward.

14. Not Worth the Effort
Perhaps you had an idea but realized that it was just a short wish. You then understood that it was not worth the effort, the sacrifices or that you are going in the wrong direction.

Revisit and evaluate your goals, and if they are no longer what you want, then it is not giving up. Know that you were born a winner!

15. Scared of Leaving the Comfort Zone
Even if things in your life may not have been perfect before, you felt comfortable with them. It was a comfortable and easy routine. But in leaving your comfort zone to get into a world of doubt and struggles, you miss it.

You should only know that without leaving your comfort zone, there won't be any growth or progress and that once you have obtained what you want, you will be able to go even further.

16. A Ridiculous Idea
People think you are too old to begin all over and start something new. They believe that following your dream is not a realistic concept, or they believe it to be a childish fantasy.

Well, what people think is their problem. It is your life and your future. So choose wisely!

17. It Should Be Easy
You think it should be easy but when things are not running as they should, you quit, and so no more effort is required. You just give up, and the problems related to that go away. Easy does it!

The minute you start something, surround yourself with and talk to people who encourage you and are interested in your success.

A Final Word on Giving Up
The one important thing that sets successful people apart from the people who do not is their capacity to persist, keep going even after failure and never give up.

My final suggestion to you is that sometime, you may have to lock yourself in a room and scream at with all your strength. Do it until you get it out of your system. Then move on and get back to work.

Know also that your current circumstances are not the final outcomes.

A great thing about not giving up is that it a skill you can acquire. Be patient enough and do not be discouraged by the lack of instant results. A lot of people are using the above excuses and give up way too easily. Just decide that you're not going to quit. And instead be unstoppable!

Mind And Money - How To Begin Experiencing Wealth Attraction

If the truth be told, you already know exactly how to create in a powerful and almost instant way. You've been doing it your whole life. The problem is you've been using this power to create what you fear, what you hope doesn't happen and what you most deeply dislike over and again.

Now to discover the conscious way of creating exactly that which you most desire to experience. Leave the fear and dread at the door and move into a brand new way of life.

First get very clear about exactly what you want. Write down your dreams and then go back over them to fill in the details all the way to the end. For example if you want more money, start there, but go all the way to what you want the money for. Do you want freedom to travel? Where to? Do you desire a nice home? What exactly does it look like. Being detailed brings a vividness to your dreams.

Once you have moved into a full knowledge of what you desire to experience use your most powerful manifestation tool, your imagination. Go deeper than just thinking of your dreams, be there in the real life experience of you being, doing, experiencing from that very reality. You do this when you worry, you create a final picture of what "will happen" and feel it very deeply. Use that level of imagination to FEEL your state of being, your new life, new you, during this time of imagination.

Practice this morning, noon and night until it is more real to you than the life you are now living. It gets easier as you go along and you will begin to feel an urging to go into the imagined state to participate with that life. Follow that nudge and allow yourself to feel that you are that new person living that new life.

You must at last be willing to receive this new life through awareness of it forming around you. Celebrate each unfolding experience. Understand that as the new begins to form the old you, the old life, will begin to fall away. Don't grab on and try to keep them or you will return to your old life with nothing changed. Accept that this is the natural way of manifestation. A seed when put into the darkness of the earth transforms into a new experience. This is the way of creation.

These are the only steps you need to consciously create a new life, practice them faithfully and you will soon develop strong manifestation powers whereby you create exactly according to your desires.

Off Kilter? This Helps You Find Balance No Matter How Life Tilts

Change is constant, and yet, it can feel overwhelming at times. We are each unique in how we approach changes, how we experience transitions, and how we maintain balance.

And it's not just external changes. Our energy influences our balance, too. So, here are 5 tips to enhance your understanding of balance and help you find it.

1. Balance comes from drawing on your full range of energies, not a 50/50 split of work/home activities.

Balance is less about how much time you schedule for each sector of your life than it is about how you approach activities energetically. For example, if you follow up an ambitious, sales-oriented day at work with a game of handball, then engage in home remodeling until bedtime, you are not allowing yourself to relax, reflect and simply be.

Likewise, if you end a day of care-giving by tending to family and grooming your dog, you have no opportunity to challenge yourself in self-directed physical or creative endeavors. Your drive, your receptivity, your originality, and your caring are all distinct energies that complement one another. Their variety adds depth to your life.

2. Balance is about how you use your energy.

Balance entails living in dynamic equilibrium. Learn to recognize the feminine energy and masculine energy that feed your vitality. Observe when you create and dream, and when you take action. Alternating freely between these 2 energies helps you balance and integrate what is essential in your life.

3. Balance is about taking care of yourself.

To balance your life, learn to quiet yourself and identify messages you may be working from. Balance comes from discerning each fear you hold and how it drives your choices from moment to moment. As you become aware of your rhythm, you can pace yourself more successfully. You will sense when outlays of effort need to be followed by something restorative. To live in dynamic equilibrium, learn to accept that you can only be in one energetic place at a time.

4. Balance is activated by aware actions.

Observing yourself and embracing lessons from your intuition (or inner guide) are fundamental balance skills. Attune yourself to the signals your body provides to assess the situation, your environment and your choices. Act from an enlightened, inspired, balanced position.

5. Balance is learning to create harmony with yourself.

Using your time and energy harmoniously will smooth out the wrinkles in your day. You will feel more content and grounded by creating a balanced base for your daily activities. Assess your time choices and motivation by asking questions about how you are using your time in the moment.

  • What do you need more or less of to create a balanced base?
  • How are you off-center?
  • What happens?
  • How can you regain your balance in the moment?

The Thought That Resonates

Vibration. The most powerful force there is. It seems to work like magic, but it is not. It is what we with our free will create from the ground up through our actions upon reality. Like something being built, our vibrations create what we are and what we do. Sure, we can say something like "it just happened to be" or "there is not any explanation", but we would be lying to ourselves so fully that we would not know anything that is going on in any way unless we do admit that it all does come down to vibration.

Sure, that is blunt reality, but what else does matter in any way? Nothing else does. I remember Paramahansa Yogananda and his quote: "Every human wish finds ultimate fulfillment." I see what he meant now, and the way he meant it: I think he should have said that every genuine vibration from the ground up meets ultimate fulfillment. Actions from a deep place are always somehow fulfilled. Have you ever noticed that? Only the shallowest actions are like the low tide of the ocean, doing nothing but making a little temporarily wet sand on the beach that dries normally. In thought, every genuinely energetic from the inside person is a strong vibration like positive tsunami waves that blow across a beach powerfully and memorably. Real power is controlling your vibrations fully without let up or fear of what others think.

Although Abraham Lincoln was a politician, he had one valuable quote: "People are about as happy as they make up their minds to be." He was right about that. The power is always in the reality though. With thought and concentrated action on that thought, all things are possible. We are as happy and honest as we make up our minds to be really. The virtue of life is in living and not avoiding it. So many live by what others think and think that they are living when they find they skipped what they really wanted in life. The love of life makes you vibrate strongly to what you genuinely and really want and need. In fact, I can honestly say that is the real championship of it all, that genuine, permanent happiness that works for you. Not some outer trophy, or even an ultimate win on the outside, but to borrow the Dr. Bert Mandelbaum, M.D. book title for a moment: The Win Within. So, I end with a couple of questions: How do you live your life? Are you an inner driven person or an outer driven person? Do not answer me, answer yourself.

It's Only Make Believe Recovering Inner Reality Skills

'You create your own reality' has become an overused cliche; everyone has heard it, some believe it, a few understand it. Those who do understand it know that life is a lot like make-believe. Children are accomplished at make-believe. They understand they can create any reality and 'live in' any situation they choose. This works beautifully until some adult who has lived long enough to forget how things work crashes into their private world to proclaim that what they believe is real is only make-believe.

Have you seen the poster that features a lion and his cub walking together? It says 'I thought about quitting but then I saw who was watching.' An astute person will question who thought about quitting, the father or the son! Both of them had a reality they were walking towards, likely different but real to each. We are all born with instinct, like the animals. The instinct to survive is the strongest by far. The instinct to create follows closely. We enter a brand new world, a new existence devoid of anyone else's ideas. It is instinctive to begin creating, to make-believe that what you need or want is before you exactly as you imagine it would work the best.

If you are born in a country where the language is English or any nation where the language is not tonal the creative side of your brain is forced to develop mush faster. You are probably more accomplished at making believe your world is perfect in your own eyes. Those who are born into nations that have tonal languages become masters at duplication. They can copy anything with mastery. China is a great example of this. You expect a lot less in your 'perfect world' because you have not developed the natural creative instinct to create more.

The more one is exposed to people who are jaded and do not believe in making believe the faster they lose the ability to create a reality that embraces their personal dreams. Children believe the adults who surround them. Authority figures like teachers, preachers and older peers they perceive to be intelligent or believable alter their course dramatically based on the things they say and how they live. Children observe their reality. If trauma and hardships become a part of their daily lives they are even more inclined to bury hopes and dreams and adopt a victim attitude. Their creativity is encompassed in those hopes and dreams.

Things happen that we have no control over as we are growing into adulthood; many times it feels like we had no choices. The deeper that idea is embedded into your consciousness the less likely you are to understand the profundity of what is possible by using the creative side of your brain. That is the place where what it is capable of becoming reality as you understand it develops. If you are stuck or thinking of quitting it's time to make-believe again!

Create Your Own Path in Life

"You must make a decision that you are going to move on. It wont happen automatically. You will have to rise up and say, ‘I don’t care how hard this is, I don’t care how disappointed I am, I’m not going to let this get the best of me. I’m moving on with my life.” – Joel Osteen

You Have The Power to Choose and to Create

“Look to your heart and soul first, rather than looking to your head first, when choosing. Rather than what you think, consider instead how you feel. Look to the nature of things. Feel your choices and decisions. It just might change everything.”

How To Create Your Holy Hour For Intense Focus

Add caption
Let's face it, the day and age we are living in today is kind of crazy.

We are constantly bombarded by instant messages, WhatsApp messages, Facebook notifications, Instagram updates, Snapchat stupid videos, unsolicited phone calls, spamming emails, mind-numbing TV programs filled with buy-this buy-that ads, lazy coworkers who are best with gossiping, uninspiring friends or even family members.

With all these multiple angles of attention attack, our attention is constantly being pulled away that has drastically drained our energy.

While it's hard to eliminate all of these attention-seeking mediums once and for all, we can definitely maximize our productivity by creating what I call the "Holy Hour".

The Holy Hour is a period of time where we make everything non-negotiable except your No.1 priority of the day. This 60-90 minutes time slot is purposefully created for you to work on nothing else but that No.1 thing.

So during this period, you do everything possible to make yourself unreachable, untouchable and unavailable.

Things like:

Putting your phone away in another room and switching it to Airplane Mode
Putting a big sign in your office door saying, "Seriously, if the building isn't on fire, do NOT disturb me pal. My next available time slot will be 4:30pm -5pm and I'll entertain all your questions you may have."
Turning off your Wi-Fi altogether if all you need is to write some amazing contents out
No food. No alcohol. No drugs. No kids. But lemon water is allowed.
Then set a timer of 60-90 minutes, lock yourself in the room, and go dominate your most important, most urgent, highest-leverage task of the day.

If you are just starting out to play around this productivity trick, all you need is to design just ONE Holy Hour per day. Schedule 60 minutes every single day (ideally the same period of time) and focus that hour on your highest leverage task.

As you keep practicing it every day for a month, you'll grow your focus muscle much stronger and you will be able to extend those 60 minutes to 75 minutes and eventually to 90 minutes.

I don't recommend going more than 90 mins as you want to incorporate strategic rest in between. So when you are ready, add your second Holy Hour in your daily routine.

When you're able to do 3-4 Holy Hours throughout the day, you'll be able to finish things in a single day which takes a week for average people.

Go use it today. Go master it today. And go experience 500% increase in productivity very soon!
