Words Are Powerful Seeds Planted in Our Minds

Photo Of Person Holding Cup

Words are powerful for good or for bad. Whether spoken or written, it has the capacity to heal our body, mind and soul.

That is, if we choose our words carefully, constructively, and thoughtfully.

It eventually brings about peace, happiness, unity and progress to us, our family, community, state or nation.

Positive words are powerful seeds in action, planted in our minds. These words heal our world, sooth our balms, comfort those who are in low and high spirits. It is godly, it is universal, and it is humanitarian.

The holy book makes it clear that the power of life and dead is in the tongue. This is very, very true.

On the other hand, words thoughtlessly and carelessly chosen and spread also have the capacity to cause havoc. Karmic law of sowing and reaping in action here, you know.

Our five senses are windows through which impressions come into our minds.

But, it is our duty to take a good look at these impressions. Use our knowledge, skill, maturity, and experience to analyze them.

We could discard some of the impressions that do not agree with our mindset and accept or retain others.

This is where words as powerful seeds are planted in our minds and with time will slip into our subconscious minds.

Our subconscious minds only hear go, not come. Please, do not laugh, only smile. The subconscious mind is unlimited and is linked to the cosmic in it manifestations.

Therefore, it is most likely that what is allowed by the mind to go into the subconscious mind will come to reality eventually, good or bad.

We make decisions every minute of the day. Some of the decisions dwell on what to wear, where to go, what to eat, what to drink, who to go into relationships with, when to get married and when to divorce.

Others could dwell on job, becoming a writer, business, social outing, cars, travelling, education, finance, etc.

I have observed that if I think negative words, especially while falling asleep in the night or during waking hours in the morning, it is not good for my activities that day.

It is most likely to accept my mood, make me a little intolerant, snobbish, and my words and deeds may likely be negative. But, I have the power to choose what and how I think.

But, each time I strive to be positive in thought, words and deeds, my activities for that day looks good.

It is not easy my beloved to maintain a positive outlook in the days, weeks, months and even years ahead. Pretty difficult, but doable.

Why Do You Suppose That So Many People Never Achieve Their Goals in Life?

Why do you suppose that so many people never achieve their goals in life?

The reason...

Because they never set goals or lack the motivation to take action.

Researchers found, that only one in five Americans who reach the age of 65 don't depend on Social Security. Some people who do depend on social security include high-paying professions like doctors and lawyers.

Life is full of distractions, chaos and stress, leaving little time for most people to plan for the future. We work during the week and then spend our hard earned salary on the weekends. If you reflect, you may feel that you have wasted in money on items you don't need, there is also the additional tiredness and loss of time from waiting in queues.

The weekend has gone, we are poorer and we are not relaxed.

You arrive into work on Monday morning, tired and stressed. You feel you need to look for another job, as you need more money to cover overspending. We don't stop and plan or set goals, instead we hit the job sites looking for that 'golden egg.'

What a great waste of a powerful, natural resource - the human mind.

Would it not be better to stop being a human 'doing' and be a human 'being'? Taking time out to relax and regain control of your life.

Author of Psycho Cybernetics, Dr. Maxwell Maltz, says that once you set a goal your mind becomes more focused. Focusing will open your mind up to opportunities you may have normally missed. Your mind makes corrections so that you can stay on target. The more specific the goal is, the better the corrections are and more opportunities appear.

A point to remember, our brains can't tell the difference between a real event that really took place and one that we imagined. So, if your goal is clear and firm, your brain will act as if it's been achieved.

When did you last buy another car? You picked it up from the Dealership. You feel like a kid with a new toy, it's a great feeling.

You're focused fully on your new purchase, your mind's recording all your thoughts and feelings.

What happens next??

The whole world's driving your car!

Goal Setting

Take the time now to write a goal statement. Write it in the first person, using pronouns like "I," "my," "mine," and "me." Keep your goal statements short and to the point. Be emphatic. Be positive. For instance, "Today, I am improving my self-esteem with positive statements and positive actions."

Remember the more specific you make your goals, the better your chance to achieve them. These following techniques may be helpful to you...

• Begin with your top level goals, those that are important.

• Break the top level goals into sub goals. These will build your long-range goals.

• Start with sub goals and set a timescale, such as a week or a month.

• Long-term goal timescale could be six months, one year, or five years.

• Using e a specific timeframe, it helps you measure your success.

• Set goals that inspire you, but that are also realistic and achievable. Set a series of goals so that you are going step-by-step. That way, it easier to adjust them as needed.

• Making goals manageable helps with your confidence and motivation.

• Share your goals with an individual or group who might have similar goals. It's great reinforcement.

• Celebrate achievement of your goals with rewards.

• Keep your goals somewhere where you can access them easily.

• Guard your goals. Don't share them with negative people who probably won't encourage you. Share them with positive people who you know well and will support.

Don't' wait until you're 65. Why don't you start making use of it today?

Goal setting does require work, it's a powerful and easy way to help you achieve want you want in life.

Take away

Start by listing down what you want in life.

Write goals down, buy a note book.

Think about SMART objectives -

Specific - avoid 'I want more money'. Be specific 'I want to earn £50000 per year.

Measureable - How will you know you're in the right direction? How do you want to earn the £50K.

Agreed - Is it achievable

Realistic - Is it relevant.

Time - what is your timescale and how will you track progress.

Dreams Will Come True: Have Patience and Be Positive (By Gaurav Dua)

There is a famous quote: "All dreams come true someday".

Well, before I elaborate any further on this or share my philosophy on this quote.

Let me first take an opportunity to brief all my readers and set the context appropriately.

Let me also clarify that my thoughts are not referring to a common man achieving fame, status, adulation, wealth and becoming a Celebrity over night or a highly successful business tycoon or a renowned man or a strong, powerful politician.

I'm actually delighted to share my personal experiences and conclude that most of my dreams have come and have got fulfilled in some way or the other in this life.

I believe dreams are never small or big. They could be material, romantic or creative ones.

If I were to define dream, they are recurring desire, an intrinsic urge to achieve something or accomplish something one would cherish or has been looking forward to for quite some time.

You love to think and feel passionately about it, dream about it throughout the day, you are desperate to achieve it and are touched when someone talks about it. In short, it's your treasure and is dear to you. And the moment you visualize it has been achieved, you are on cloud nine, on seventh heaven.

The feeling is as joyous and special as climbing the Mount Everest or going to space or becoming a billionaire. It's a driving force that can make you work for hour's non-stop. It drives you to work hard, go that extra mile, and be optimistic even under most strenuous circumstances.

I have been dreaming about different things and here's an interesting list of my dreams that have come true till now.

I used to dream of having my own blog, writing my articles and posting them on my blog to inspire my near and dear ones. These articles getting acknowledged or certified by a website was like a step further, not seen in my dream though. I always wanted to write on variety of topics, something positive, to motivate myself and others without even an aorta of negativity or criticism like critics criticizing on any topic. I didn't discover my creative streak till the day I sat down and wrote a beautiful poem complimented by several people.

Featuring in an advertisement like a professional model was really wonderful. And it actually happened with me being able to get an advertisement on social media endorsing a safety campaign for a renowned car brand with a pivotal role in it with numerous compliments for my performance.

Being a health freak, I'm rather obsessed with health. Dream of taking up activities of fitness on ongoing basis - being able to do yoga, pranayama, Surya namaskar, aerobics, dance, joining a gym. Participating in a marathon was another reason of my happiness. It was a very pleasant experience to finish 5 Kms in just 25 mins and being in top 50 in the Marathon.

Being able to work in spiritual domain and counselling people to eliminate or at least reduce problems in their life is another example of a dream getting fulfilled.

Becoming a father of a beautiful daughter and having great fun playing with her every single day. The feelings, affection, love you get in this relationship cannot be described in words.

Being able to coach on personality development, Corporate World, Soft Skills thus influencing hundreds of young men and women to work positively towards their goals is nothing less than an achievement and a recurring dream coming true.

Working for a social cause and contributing towards welfare of our society. I'm thankful to God that I got a wonderful opportunity to work for a Non-Governmental organization thereby contributing towards a constructive cause of educating the poor children. A dream worth living a hundred lives.

Being invited to a Management Institute as Guest of Honour to share my professional journey with them. I was appreciated for being able to inspire them with my thoughts and experiences. I dreamt about this and it transformed into reality.

There is one golden rule which I have realized all these years. If you want your dreams to become reality, one has to be patient and have belief in oneself with a strong conviction and motivation to pursue these dreams.

Dreams have to be converted to reality by constantly working towards them. Working hard, putting in-efforts and consistently reminding yourself.

Another thing I would like to share is that I always convey my best wishes to people especially on their birth day "May God bless you and all your dreams come true". Wishing something positive for people at least your near and dear ones always helps. As our elders say, there is Goddess Saraswati sitting on our tongue. Whether you speak something nice or nasty, chances are it might come true. So, speak nice, positive and good for everyone. This Universe is made up of atoms. Positive atoms release positive energy and the impact multiplies and vice versa.

Pouring water to Sun is an excellent example of generating positive energy. Sun radiates and blesses this Universe with its abundant light, energy and power. Have positive vibes around you. Do things to have "feel good factor" and work in positive environment. This will nurture your brain, your morale, motivation levels and consequently your dreams. Stay away from negative people as they clutter your mind and might create obstacles in fulfilling your dreams.

Mythological finding also states: what you give, comes back to you. You donate, have noble thoughts, put-in sincere efforts, speak humble, and do good deeds. In reciprocation, good things will happen with you most of the time. You do bad karma, utter ugly words, bad will eventually follow you, your work gets spoiled and you suffer from negative thoughts.

Scientifically too, it has been proved time and again, negative energy sucks your mind, body and soul and results in loads of negativity. While, positive energy attracts positive thoughts. So, be positive encouraging, and cheerful. Things will fall in place sooner or later.

Lastly, dream big, have faith in your abilities and in the universe, keep reminding, so that the dreams remain in your sub conscious mind and some day you go beyond your dreams when you reach your destination. God bless!

How To Stay Positive To Enjoy Successful Manifestation

To Enjoy A Successful Manifestation, One Must Be Positive

Everyone is talking about manifestation, the law of attraction and the power of the universe. Many think they know how to use it, how to manifest, and benefit a lot from that knowledge. Many still struggle and keep wondering what are those successful people did to manifest anything they want and harness the power of the universe.

The key is everything is made of energy and vibration. You are what you vibrate. When you vibrate fear to the universe, the universe will send you more event to be feared. When you vibrate anger, you receive even more event to be angry at or people who are angry with you. On the other hand, when you vibrate happiness and positive thinking, you will receive more happiness and positivity in return.

So let's learn how to become a positive person to ensure you don't vibrate any negativities to the universe and start enjoying successful manifestations, and receive only the fabulous things in life.

How To Think Positive Even When In The Most Challenging Situation

1. Always smile

Smiling at yourself in the mirror helps to uplift your spirit quickly as well as reducing your stress. Please bear in mind that you need fewer muscles to smile than to frown.

2. Review all the blessings in your life

It is worthy to go through your diary, old happy photos, amusing VDO clips, or any past accomplishments. By revisiting those proud moments, happiness, and joy, you cannot hold on to the negativities and sadness. You will feel proud, confident and positive. Remember the feeling.

3. Reward yourself sometimes

Give yourself some compliments, flowers, or small rewards sometimes when you achieve something no matter how little it is. You can also reward yourself with some new opportunities to learn something new, to explore something new, or to meet new people. These little awards help you feel good about yourself. It is a way to show your appreciation to yourself. A positive attitude can never arise if you do not even feel good about yourself.

4. Stop whining!

Whining is a reflection of your negativities that have been put into words. It does no good to anyone. On the other hand while complaining you have unknowingly vibrated your negative energy to others and the universe. The law of attraction will work and attract the same energy to you. Moreover, you may get into the habit of whining. And when you do, the negativities will dwell in your constant mood which will attract people of the same kind to your life.

Many people complain to get what they want, the way they want it. There are many ways to get things done, have things we want, the way we want it by using other positive approaches like rewarding, complimenting, encouraging. These positive approaches may work slower but guarantee to draw back only positive energy to your circle.

5. Appreciation!

Learn how to be thankful for everything you have right now. It is always a good idea to thank other people for everything they do for you no matter how big or small. Admiring others and be thankful for others guard away negativities from your mind. On the contrary, these acts of appreciation and admiration vibrate positive energy to the universe and will draw back the same energy to you. Sincere admiration and heartfelt appreciation do not only make people who receive them feel happy but also make you realize your significance and presence.

6. Surround yourself with positive people

Talking to positive people help tuning our mood. We can absorb and study the way they think. Eventually, we will become positive too.

7. Stay away from negative people

Negative thought is contagious. When we hang out with negative people, we gradually absorb it. Sooner than we realize, we will find ourselves a negative person too.

8. Learn Dhamma, motivational quotes!

Reading good books of Dhamma or motivational and inspiring quotes from successful people help to stop us from going down the negative lane. Whenever negativity arises, grasp a book or read a motivational quote we like the most. It helps.

9. Think of others who have less and suffer more

Sometimes when we think about people who are less fortunate, people who are suffering more from the scarcity of necessities in life, we might as well appreciate our lives and what we have more. Moreover, many who suffered poverty and hardship have fought to rise above the water. Many have fought to rise above the crowd and become extremely successful. How could they make such a great achievement? Sometimes learning about other people's success story could inspire us. Learn how they managed to lead their lives from zero to hero.

10. Help others and learn to forgive

Helping other people in every possible way you can would make you feel very positive about yourself. Forgiving people also uplifts your spirit. It makes you let go of negative feeling and make you feel good about yourself too.

11. Blessing others and wish them well

When we bless someone or wish someone well from the heart, we automatically create a positive feeling and kindness in our heart. When we wish, we vibrate favorable energy to the universe. And by that, you have sent the signal to the universe you want a blessing too.

12. Stop thinking negative

Practice meditation to be aware of any negative thought once it occurs. When you realize you have a negative thought, ask yourself whether what you think is real. Ask yourself whether those thoughts are healthy and make you feel happy. What could be gained from holding on to negativity? What could be gained from letting it go and be positive instead?

13. Be careful before asking yourself 'why?'

The 'Why' is good when you need to find out the source of conflict or find a solution. However, asking 'why' to find fault or to create conflict and negativity is not healthy at all. Be aware before asking why. If it is for the good cause, do it. If not, better not asking 'why?'. Try asking yourself a different question like "Why do we expect everything and everyone be as we expected?", "Are we being self-centered?", "Should we think less of what we want and start accepting things the way they are?".

14. Exercise to uplift your mind

Your mind has an impact on your body and vice versa. So when you feel down, use your body to uplift your spirit. Exercise is a great way to light up your mood and generate healthy energy for your body and mind. Try running, jogging, yoga, or any exercises that would help you see your daily progress and experience some new achievements every day. When you are sad and discouraged, try some posture that would light up your mood quickly like smiling, look up the sky and take a deep breath. Your feeling will revert to positivity in no time.

15. Ask yourself some questions

One of the effective ways to tackle negativities is not to believe in those negative ideas. First, you need to be aware of the feeling. Second, find out what was the cause. Then use a series of questions that help to stop you from being negative which are:

  • Is it true?
  • Are there any proofs?
  • Can we prove it wrong?
  • Is it useful?
  • Would this thought make us happy?
  • What are the cons if we hold on to these ideas?
  • What the worse that could happen if we still hold on to these negativities?
  • Lastly, is it necessary that we believe in these negative ideas?

16. Meditation

Practice meditation for at least 15 minutes a day. You can try a peace meditation that helps you calm your mind and feel peaceful.

However, it is better to practice insight meditation. Insight meditation helps sharpen your mind and your awareness. You will be aware of any thoughts and feelings that come to mind quickly and be able to response more wisely. With awareness, you start vibrating only positive energy to the universe and sooner or later the universe will draw the same to you in kind.

17. Singing

Music can pull you out of your misery even for a short time. When singing, you have a chance to release your sorrow, troubles, and difficulties through the song. You feel a lot relieved after that. Music can help you feel good too.

18. Change your attitude

Given the same scenario, two people may have different opinions toward the situation. For example, when encountering difficulties, a positive person may see it as a challenge. The negative person may view it as an obstacle or a setback. So whenever facing troubles, try seeing them as a challenge, or an opportunity to develop your skill to overcome this problem.

19. Start your sentence with 'At least'

When life has been unkind to you in any way, it is wise to look at the positive side of the situation by using 'at least.' For example, when you fail something, you could say to yourself 'At least I have tried my best.'

When you lose your job, you can say to yourself 'At least I still have good health and now the new opportunity to explore my potential.' By looking at the positive aspect of any situations, you will see more opportunity in it and can gain more from the situation than staying negative.

Try practicing these secrets as often as you can until it becomes your habit. The law of attraction will start working on you. You will find your life changing in a positive way and start seeing how the universe is responding to your every wish like a miracle.

You Only Live Once So Make The Most Out Of It

We all want to live our lives in every way possible. We want to make the most life has to offer. But then again, there are just so many things that are impeding us from getting the life we deserve.

There is work, money, time, other people and OURSELVES! Yes, may be the reason why you are not living the life you ought to live is because you are not letting yourself be in that kind of life. You are so focused on what should you be rather than what you want to be. It is like not being able to differentiate your wants from your needs. You don't have to have what famous people have to say that you are living a life.

It is not about the things that you don't have that make a wonderful life, rather it is the things that are already in your possession and how you utilize them. Take note, the bests in life come with no price tag.

Be positive. All the time!

Negativity is just around the corner waiting to consume you. Try seeing the positive side of everything because that is only when you have quality thoughts and happiness. Positivity is a choice.

Believe in yourself!

Happiness is when you do something you wanted to do so badly but the thought of failing is making you take a step backward. The first critic of your actions is yourself. You cannot make people see your worth if you don't see it yourself. Remember that you are winner that is why you are here (and not those other sperm cells.)

Be courageous. Take risks!

Big opportunities only knock once so when they do, open your doors. Everything is a gamble because you cannot foresee tomorrow. Don't be afraid to fail because without it, you cannot value the moment when you've finally succeeded. Your what if's will be your greatest midnight hunters.

Be crazy. Violate rules!

Obedience is awesome but rules, like promises, are meant to be broken. Violating rules once in a while is fun, even a simple crossing on the road when the light turns red with the presence of traffic officers will be fun. Just don't get caught and run as fast as you can. The moment you will be in that place again, I am sure as hell that you are going to laugh at yourself.

Be yourself!

You can idolize someone but don't try to be completely like them. You are your own unique self and you don't have to be like someone else to be part of the group. Honesty is the best policy and be honest of your own self. It is so much better to be hated for who you are rather than be loved for what you're not.

How you handle what life throws at you is the secret on how to be successful and how to make your life worth living. Happiness is a choice. As Leo Tolstoy would say, if you want to be happy, be.

It Makes Sense Being Sure

Being certain about someone or something ensures that you take a step to the next level. However, when uncertainty is on the cards, decision-making can be arduous. Ergo, it is necessary to make a decision based on reason rather than impulse.

When making a career choice, you must make sure that you factor in various aspects like the role, content, salary, long-term goals, etc. If you do not consider any of these and more, you will wind yourself in knots seeking the opportune time for a job change that does not lower your career graph.

Being a part of a friends circle makes life chipper, for sure, but cracks do emerge. When you feel the tension, iron out the problem and move on. A sensitive topic should be tackled with care so that you do not step on anyone's toes. For instance, religion is a subject that most people avoid, ditto with issues relating to one's family.

Marriage as an institution must be factored in with care. The person who you choose to be with for the rest of your life has to be on the same page as you. Nothing is as interesting, in a relationship, than when you agree to disagree. Work on mistakes prior to the 'I do' and you may never wonder why you did.

Being nasty has taken center stage in various facets of life. You have a choice here, deal with the nasty head on or ignore the barbs and get on. The bottom line is that you must be happy with your decision. If you are, no matter what anyone throws at you, you will be able to get by, because at the end of the day, you know who you are, period.

In sum, we come across a variety of situations and people in life. The choice of dealing with the situation or the person is in your hands. You can crib about how life has dealt you with heavy blows or how someone has been nasty or ill-treated you. Alternatively, you can ignore the problem and/or find a solution that keeps you calm.

One basic rule that is imperative to follow is that the past is just that - over, when you dwell on it, you do not get a move on. Instead of being caught in a rut. Even if the present looks bleak, look ahead, because the future will bring you happier times.

Be positive.

Why do we do what we do and never take time off to think?
A decision is a choice that must be made based on reason rather than a sudden flash. A well thought out strategy always pans out down the line and is definitely worth the effort.

How To Boost Self-Confidence - Your Powerful Guide To Help You Start

It would be great to have this outlook and you can be that person, too. This article contains some tips on how to be confident.

1. Avoid Negativity and Always Be Positive

You may need to assess your inner circle, such as your family and friends. While this is hard, it may be time to consider staying away from the people who shred your confidence and put you down.

Always be positive, even when you do not feel it quite yet. Have a positive enthusiasm with the way you interact with others and keep your excitement when starting a new project. Instead of focusing on your problems, start thinking about how to resolve them and make positive changes.

2. Do Not Accept Failure

Do not give up and always think that all problems have solutions. It will boost your confidence when you succeed through an immense hardship.

Negative thoughts often cause low self-esteem. If you always say that you are not good enough, you will become what you are thinking. When you are feeling any negativity, turn it right away to positive encouragement and try to maintain it until you have that self-confidence boost.

3. Make Some Changes

Your body language and facial expressions play an important role in building your confidence. By simply pulling your shoulders back, it will give the impression to others that you are confident. When you smile to people, they will be more comfortable with you and you will also feel better.

Make eye contact to the one you are talking to and speak slowly. Take time to speak clearly and slowly so you will appear more confident to others. Moreover, they will actually understand what you are telling them.

It will also help if you dress nicely and style your hair. This will give you more confidence, make you feel good about yourself, and others will likely see you as confident and successful.

4. Always Be Prepared

Discover everything that you need to know about your task, presentation, field, or no matter what you would do next. If you are equipped with knowledge and always prepared, this will help you increase your self-confidence.

5. Make a Great List

There are times in life when it is really hard to stay confident because of all those difficulties that you encounter. Relax and take a moment to create a list of everything that you are grateful for, and another list for your accomplishments that you are proud of.

After completing your lists, post them on a wall by your desk, on your mirror, on your refrigerator door, or anywhere you can easily see to remind you that you have a wonderful life. If you think that your confidence is dropping, just look at those lists and feel inspired again.

The most significant secret to increasing self-confidence is to take a small action day after day that helps you to build up about your body and mind.

7 Things You Need to Know About Getting Out of Your Comfort Zone

Everybody knows how to say it. “You’ve got to get out of your comfort zone. That’s where the magic happens.”
But it’s always so easy to say it.
It’s the doing that is actually hard. Starting to get out of your comfort zone is easy. It’s what happens after that when it gets scary. That’s when you even question yourself if it was a good idea in the first place.
The comfort zone and outside of it is tricky. This what you need to know.
1) You’ve to raise your standards
Are you still doing the same old things? Are you practicing your craft within bearable range? Are you aiming for a goal you know you can achieve in the first place?
If you answered yes to any of the above, your standards are too low. And when they’re too low, it means it’s still too comfortable.
You’ve to raise your standards. You must do things out of the ordinary and aim for goals or milestones never thought achievable.
And it will never end. The standards need to always go up. Keep pushing yourself.
2) You’ve to change your lifestyle
Are you still eating the same old, fried crap?
Are you getting enough sleep? Or are you sleeping abnormal hours?
Are you just “going with the flow” hoping for something good to happen when deep down you aren’t really sure what you’re doing?
Drastic lifestyle changes must be made. It’s uncomfortable, but that’s the point. You can’t get great results if you think they should happen “somehow” and fit into your current lifestyle.
You only get the results when you work for it!
3) You’ve to get rid of some friends and then feel awkward around new people
That means to say, you need to weed out the toxic ones.
Regardless of the number of years you’ve known each other, the memories you have or that you think they’ve changed, it is a must to get rid of the negative influences in your life. Some friendships simply don’t last forever.
If you want to get out of your comfort zone, then start by surrounding yourself with new, positive people.
But be warned, it’s going to feel awkward at first. Imagine going to a new country and making new friends with the locals there.
You never know what you’re going to get next, but be strong and be positive. The right people who belong in your life will come along.

4) You’ve to be extremely honest and stop coming up with lame excuses
Excuses are the bane of everybody’s existence. They are plentiful and easy to use.
Now, are you always coming up with excuses? Are you doing it to avoid asking yourself the honest, but terrifying questions?
Great things happen outside of the comfort zone, but only to great people. And great people know themselves perfectly. They don’t create lame excuses to justify their shortcomings.
They only make changes to constantly improve.
5) You’ve got to be mentally prepared for things to not work out
Or not being able to see the light at the end of the tunnel.
No venture or endeavor plays out like you thought it would or what others taught you.
Things WILL go wrong. You WILL fail. And you WILL hit a point where you feel like giving up.
That’s how it is outside the zone. The magic happens there, but well, so does a lot of nasty spells.
Stay strong and don’t give up. You already left the zone. It’d be a shame to come back.
6) You’ve to shield yourself from others’ lack of understanding
And it can be harsh. That is when people criticize, lambaste, tease or even attack you.
Mostly, they just don’t understand why you do what you do. They only understand the conventional path laid out for them. And when people do not dare to venture out, they attack what they don’t understand.
Ignore them. You’ve to be strong, alone. Keep working hard and eventually you’ll earn them respect and admiration.
7) You’ve to feel the fear and do it anyway
This is the entire point of getting out of your comfort zone.
You’re going to feel scared, anxious, afraid, filled with fear and even depressed. You’re going to want to turn around and feel safe again.
But the scary feelings only mean that you’re going in the right direction.
You can’t turn back. You’ve to get used to it. You’ve to grow up and harden yourself.
That is how you eventually align your new self with the rewards that will come for you.
That is how the magic works.

It Is Enough to Do My Best

We are all aware that we have to deal with challenges, obstacles, and hardships throughout our lives. Indeed, it is this awareness that fuels some of our negativity. Negative thinking is what holds us back in our lives. If we allow it to penetrate our thinking, it's like condemning ourselves to quicksand. The key to knowing, unlocking, and exercising your true potential, lies in addressing the negative thoughts that plague you.

Let's stop for a moment, is it really right to label challenges or hardships negatively? What most people fail to see is that these difficulties are necessary. They are the catalyst that drive us to learn, strive, do our best, and, in the process, grow.

When you start seeing hardship in a completely different light, then you would practically be erasing a large chunk of negativity from your life. And, once you start leaning more towards optimism, you'd also find that it won't be as difficult anymore to start taking action and solving your challenges. As you learn to be more positive, you also begin to understand the value of doing your best in everything that you do.

Charles Bukowski, in his poem, "Roll the Dice", says, "If you're going to try, go all the way. Otherwise, don't even start." "Going all the way" means commitment, you are committed to do what it takes to reach your goals and dreams, and there is no feeling like it, because you are all in, winning or losing. It is the journey, including the struggles, that is memorable, which makes the reward all the more fulfilling.

Always keep in mind that positive thinking goes hand in hand with finding the will to apply yourself to the best of your abilities, while being confident that it's all you'll ever need to do, to overcome any obstacle that comes your way. Because with this kind of mindset, the sky (the mind) is, and always will be the limit for you. At this point in time, letting the storm of events control you, only leads to a troubled heart, which definitely does not make your life any better. How can one stay calm in situations like these? Right when the storm is raging and threatening to ultimately destroy you? The only way is through achieving inner peace.

We all have a connection to a higher power. In times like these, take time and connect with your inner power. Imagine handing over the challenges of your life.

A beautiful state where you can be calm and strong no matter what kind of turmoil is going on around you. You can reach it by putting your trust, complete confidence, and faith in the higher power. The power you can rely on and that is there for you in the most drastic and impossible situations

How to Start Conversations That Make Instant Connections

For entrepreneurs, knowing how to communicate clearly and effectively is critical in leading a company -- and selling your business ideas. But the words you speak and hear are only a small part of getting your message across to your employees, customers and investors. It is the way you speak and listen that makes all the difference in the world.
Consider these 12 steps for starting conversations that click and, ultimately, lead to more productive relationships:
Step 1: Relax. Stress generates irritability, which leads to anger, and anger shuts down communication. Studies have shown that a one-minute relaxation exercise will increase activity in the brain that is essential for communication and decision making. So before you enter any conversation, do this:
First notice which parts of your body are tense based on a scale of one to 10 (1 = completely relaxed; 10 = extremely tense). Write it down. For 30 seconds, breathe in slowly to the count of five, and then exhale slowly to the count of five. Repeat this three times. Now, yawn a few times and notice if it relaxes you. Assign it a number between one and 10 and write it down. Now stretch your body, beginning with the muscles of your face, scrunching them up, then stretching them out. Then gently move your head from side to side and front to back. Scrunch your shoulders up and then push them down. Next tighten your arms and legs for a count of 10; then relax and shake it out. Take a few more deep breaths. Once more assign a number to your state of relaxation and write it down, noticing any improvement.
Step 2: Stay present. When you focus on your breathing and relaxation, your attention is pulled into the present moment and inner speech stops, at least momentarily. If we bring this "presentness" into a conversation, we hear the subtle tones of voice that give emotional meaning to the speaker’s words. Being in the present moment will allow you to quickly recognize when a conversation begins to go astray.
Step 3: Get quiet. Developing the skill to remain silent helps you give full attention to what other people say. To hone that skill, try an exercise with this online bell. Push the button to "strike" it then focus on the sound. As it fades, listen more closely. Ring the bell several more times, and listen more closely. This is the attentiveness you need when listening to someone.
Step 4: Be positive. Take a mental inventory of your mood. Are you tired or alert, anxious or calm? Then, ask yourself: do I feel optimistic about this conversation? If there's any doubt, anxiety, or frustration—postpone it. If you can’t, then at least mentally rehearse the conversation first, which will help you spot statements you might make that would undermine your goal.
Step 5: Confirm values. To make a conversation balanced and fair, everyone has to be clear and up front, about values, intentions, and goals. If your values are not aligned with those of the person you're trying to do business with, trouble is unavoidable. So learn about the person's values as soon as you can. But beware: some people will mask the nonverbal cues of deceit and just tell you exactly what you hope to hear.
Step 6: Evoke memories. Enter the conversation with an expression that conveys kindness, compassion, and interest. But it cannot be faked. So if you're not feeling it, tap into a pleasant memory of people you love and respect. It will soften the muscles around your eyes and evoke a gentle half smile on your face, which stimulates a feeling of trust in the other person's brain.
Step 7: Watch nonverbal cues. Keep your eyes on the person you're speaking with, but don't stare. And stay focused, making sure you aren’t distracted by inner thoughts. If a person wants to conceal a feeling— out of embarrassment or the desire to deceive— it might only appear for a quarter of second. But remember that micro-expressions can only tell you that a true emotion is hidden, it won’t tell you why or whether the person is purposefully concealing it.
Step 8: Be appreciative. The first words you speak set the tone for the conversation, so begin with a compliment and end it with another compliment that expresses appreciation. Of course they must be genuine. Ask yourself: what do I really value about this person? Then, ask yourself which of those attributes you respect most. Remember this as you talk, too, and listen for an opportunity to share it.
Step 9: Speak warmly. If you drop the pitch of your voice and talk more slowly, the listener will respond with greater trust. When we are angry, excited, or frightened, we raise the pitch and intensity of our voices, and it varies a lot in speed and tone. On the other hand, a warm supportive voice is the sign of leadership and will generate more satisfaction, commitment, and cooperation between members of your team.
Step 10: Slow down. Slowing down your speech actually helps people understand what you are saying and deepens their respect for you. It's not as intuitive as it may seem, and as children we automatically speak fast. But you can teach a child to slow down by speaking slowly yourself because they’ll match you. A slow voice has a calming effect on a person who is feeling anxious, whereas a loud, fast voice stimulates excitement, anger, or fear.
Step 11: Be brief. Limit your speaking to 30 seconds or less. Our conscious minds retain only a tiny bit of information. If you need to communicate something essential, share it in even smaller segments— a sentence or two— then wait for the person to acknowledge they’ve understood. If the person remains silent, say another sentence or two, and then pause again. It also helps to write down major points before the conversation.
Step 12: Listen deeply. Stay focused on the person who is speaking: their words, tone, gestures, facial cues— everything. When they pause, you’ll need to respond to what they just said. If they go and on, then just study them and watch how your own inner speech reacts, without worrying about what you may remember or forget. You’ll actually be practicing a form of meditation that is neurologically enhancing and emotionally relaxing— a far cry from what we usually feel when we are bored by someone speaking.

Simple Ways To Empower Your Brain And Unleash Your Potential

We all know that success doesn't always come that easy and it takes years of perseverance and hard work for us to achieve it. That being said, do you know that training your brain will help you unleash its potential and help you control your success rate? Being successful is all in the mind and empowering your mind will help you to become a happier and successful individual in no time. Below are some ways to help you strengthen your brain and unlock your potential.

Socializing

One way of empowering your brain is by socializing. Socializing helps stimulate the brain thus keeping it healthy. Volunteering is one example of socializing that affects the prefrontal cortex of the brain responsible for problem solving, analyzing and planning.

Learning

Learning new skills and developing it also helps empower one's brain. Learning new sports such as tennis or playing musical instruments helps stimulate the hand-eye motor coordination skills as well as the intraparietal sulcus area of the brain. And since the brain cannot distinguish between actual performance of the action and visualization, visualizing can also help strengthen the brain's neural pathways.

Getting Active

Aside from losing weight, exercise can help improve your brain's health. Keeping the weight off helps reduce fatty deposits that can clog the arteries that are responsible in feeding the brain. Regular exercise increases blood and oxygen circulation in the body allowing more sustenance to reach the brain.

Sleeping

Our brain can get overwhelmed from information that we receive every day and sleeping an ample amount of time will help your brain take stock and recharge. If you are working straight, take a nap for a few minutes to help your brain recharge. Lack of sleep can affect the way we store information as well as lead to mood swings and other mental health issues. The ideal sleeping time varies and can be 8 or more for some; however, some adults need less than eight hours to function well.

Be Positive

Do you know that taking a positive outlook on life can help make our brain healthier? Choosing to take a positive outlook on life helps jumpstart our daily activities and improve our mood for the rest of the day. Thinking negative thoughts can add stress and toxicity in our lives and lower our immune system as well. Do you know that smiling, even if you don't feel like it can help elicit that happiness inside of you? Since the brain cannot differentiate between a fake and a genuine smile, facial muscles cue the brain that the person is experiencing the same emotion thus even if one is faking a smile, the brain is triggered to experience a positive feeling.
