Trusting Without Reservation

Almost all of us believe we are worthy of trust. But, trust is a fragile illusion that is easily broken. When you learn not to trust, you cannot feel betrayed. Trust is a choice, a belief. It is a verb and a noun. Trust is imaginary. Trust exists only in our minds. Take another look at the short list of "trustworthy" people and professions I suggested in the beginning of this piece.

Trust no one, but have the love for everyone. You can love them with all of your heart, but do not trust them. You and only you know your own heart. Trust only your own intuition. You will make mistakes, but you will not feel betrayed. Someone here please tell me I'm wrong! Better yet, show me where I'm wrong. Even better yet... prove it!

I have seen people close their hearts after, because they had been hurt, and this is not a wise thing to do, and this was done out of fear of being hurt again. People do not understand the Power they have. Life and Death flow from the tongue. Many folks are very sensitive and their Trust is broken they feel betrayed, if your Trust is broken by someone it is their failure to understand karma, it is not your fault for being too Trusting. Love is not a weakness, and neither is Karma.

Image result for the importance of trust in a relationshipwww.askideas.com Trusting someone means that you think they are reliable, you have confidence in them and you feel safe with them physically and emotionally. Trust and love go hand in hand in a relationship.

Trust should always be mutual in a relationship. It's very important to trust your partner and to be trusted in return. In fact, trust is what keeps a relationship away from complications. In spite of differences and arguments, trust assures you that your partner loves you.

Love makes you feel special, but it's trusting that keeps you strong. Trust keeps insecurities at bay. When you trust each other, you know that you can fight all problems. You feel safe and invincible being with your partner.

When you trust a person, you don't need to explain everything you do. On the flip side, when there is no trust, you can see the relationship getting into trouble. Trust helps you avoid being selfish in a relationship. When you trust someone, you allow them to have their personal time and space, and most importantly, a life apart from you. And, the best thing is that you don't feel worried and insecure because of it.

In a relationship, there can be many obstacles. At times, when we even tend to fall out of love for silly reasons, trust ensures we get back and love again. Unless you trust someone, you'll not be able to let go of hurt and feel the same as before. There are times you want to give up and walk away, but since you trust the person you love, you will feel like starting over in spite of the problems. Trusting a person takes time.

It is incredibly frustrating and causes unnecessary drama. So, knock down those walls and learn to let people in. They aren't so bad. Honesty is the best policy, right?

We engage ourselves in meaningful relationships that we value. Trust precedes love. We think that love can save us from emotional roller coasters. It is the glue to every gap and difference.

The Magical Life

You have got to believe in something inside and outside of yourself, I realize that, for life to mean anything. But, here is the catch to that simple sentence: You have got to think for yourself about what you believe in, you have got to know for yourself if it works or not. The responsibility to lead yourself in where you go falls on you as it falls on me. Sure, I could write in a less blunt way about this subject. Indeed, though, I would genuinely feel I am doing you wrong and creating bad cause and effect for myself (Bad Karma). So, I am going to endeavor here to tell the honest truth, and create good cause and effect for myself (Good Karma).

When we look at things with a different and more conscientious consciousness and genuinely think for ourselves, everything becomes easy not to take for granted, even a normal church day on Sunday becomes wonderfully magical where God or Intuition speaks through normal situations that take on a whole new meaning, right down to prayer and affirmations of faith and belief. So, I will skip to this look for the magical in all things normal and strange, and magic there will be, right down to simply and consciously enjoying a normal day in genuine ways that does not take things for granted. To lift a line from singer Paul Simon, medicine is magical and magical is art, and I genuinely believe magic can be found anywhere, everywhere and all the time if we just genuinely perceive it, act on it, affirm it and appreciate it.

When I think about all of the above, I cannot take a thing for granted, not even my relationship with my Mom. Although things do get a little contentious between us at times seemingly with small arguments and little disagreements. They blow over, and I love her very much and all and I genuinely respect her and listen to her. In fact her advice is the greatest magical medicine for me, because she gives me a better slant on things I otherwise would not have.

Beyond that, I genuinely take nothing for granted though, not even "given realities". I truly know what it means when it is said in the Christian King James version of the Bible, The Book of Matthew, Matthew Chapter thirteen, Verse twelve For whosoever has, to him shall be given, and he shall have more abundance: but whosoever has not, from him shall be taken away even that he has. Sure, I edited that saying a bit. Indeed, though, you get that picture. It could say: To those who take things for granted without genuine appreciation that which they have will genuinely leave or be taken away, to those who do not take things for granted with genuine appreciation, they will genuinely get better and more. I reversed the order of the verse too, because of something I believe fully about life. If we do not get "it", we never get "it" until we get "it". If we do genuinely get it, we can grow genuinely.

I spelled out a lot here, some will get it, some will not. But, all I know is that the value is there, and I do not take what I write for granted. With that reality humbly and consciously given, I can say what I mean and mean what I say.

The 3 Pillars of Success - The Next Great Advancement in Success Movement (By Derek P Bliedung)

The three pillars are a system that I have developed which comes from years of research & practice from Napoleon Hill's teaching of the theory of success. Zig Zealar on his power to motivation mass group of people and Silver Raven Wolfe on her teachings of the mysticism and metaphysical practices. Each of their teachings is different, but there is a common thread in all of their teachings. I have taken there teaching have analyzed all these masters teachings and found what if we practiced on all three of what I call the 3 pillars of success? Would we take something good and turbocharge it into something great!

I have used these three models on myself and found even those I am working in a role that I don't feel is the best fit for myself. I am becoming better and stronger or gain more success in what I am doing. I have been a practiced many other forms of success building such as Law of Attraction reading books from the above authors. Yes, it helped but was not the magic built that we all looking for.

What are the 3 pillars of success? Making you physically stronger, making you mentally stronger and making spiritually stronger. This is the key to success in anything that you do or want to do in life. Don't forget to follow the teaching of Napoleon Hill one must follow his passion (heart), ones burring desires and have the commitment to your dreams. I will expand on each of these areas.

1. The physical: Do some form of physical activity (experiences) at least 3 times a week for at least 15 minutes. This is just a minimal amount more is better. Eat healthy food and try to avoid junk food. Make sure you get the sleep your body needs. Our society has overstressed the importance of the physical and under stress the importance of the mental and spiritual development.

2. The mental/emotional: If you can have some quiet time to envision what you really want. And envision that person, item, job, career, car or what you really want. You can light some candles, play some meditation music, burn some Incense. Do this for 15 minutes or longer a per day. Do positive affirmations such as "The universe gives me everything I need", "I have the perfect career", "I am worth $100,000.00 per year". Be creative and make your own affirmations or search the internet for some more ideas.

3. The spiritual: For some attending a region ceremonial weekly is enough. For others, they have to experience the higher power and are the witness of this God/Creators/Universe/Spirit. Not all of the population is meant to walk in the path of psychic, healer or mystic. For the ones that are brave enough to experience the higher power, this is what you need to do? One will start with mediation, this is the key to opening yourself to the universe. Why do you think so many westerns are driven to the eastern religious? They seem more mystical in what do they do, they mediate! You will have to find the meditation that is right for you. Don't be scared try one if you don't like it try another one until you find the one that is right for you. The one I find that is very powerful is called the white light meditation. You envision a white light ball of light above you see it going through your crown chakra and continue to go through all your 7 Charkas. You envision golden roots coming from your feet going into the ground and going to the center of the earth. Feel the energy coming from the ground and moving up from the ground and moving into your body and going into your heart Charka. Let it come out as a white mist and form a white ball around your body. Spin it in any direction. Say to yourself or out load I send my excuses healing energy to the universe or to the planet earth to service the higher or greater good. Have this ball of light keep spindling going faster and faster. Then let it explode and fee the energy leaving your body. Wait a few moments. Next, envision a ball of light forming around your (I like to change the colors of the light each day: red, orange, yellow/gold, green, pink, blue, purple, and white) spin it in different directions until you have 3 balls of light spinning around you in different directions. Try to do this daily. This will heal you and open up any blocked charkas. This will ground and protect you all at the same time. You're also improving your Karma by sending out healing energy. When you start walking to the path of metaphysics the cosmic boggy man (Darkness, Evil, Demons, Devil) does not like you and will want to harm you. What if don't know want you out of life? Pray for assistants, meditate on it, ask your spiritual guides or guardian angel for help. It will come to you. But you have to be open to the signs. The God/Creators/Universe/Spirit has a team that can be dispatched to aid you just have to ask.

The law of attraction is a good tool for opening you're self to the universe. The law of attraction aka the Secret is using the positive thoughts, doing to others as you want to do to yourself. Treating others with respect and honor. Bring the energy of love, joy, gratitude, happiness, tolerance etc. Try to remove and eliminate negative thoughts such as hate, anger, jealousy, intolerance etc. Doing daily affectation, and mediation. Doing all this will start awakening you from the dream that we all live in and you will start experiencing spiritual world.

What else can you do to make the experience more powerful? Like I said the basics are already given. Have a place in your home you can start a holy altar. Place symbols that have a meaning to you. The basic candle color is white for God/Creators/Universe/Spirit. The yellow or gold candles will aid you to attract what you want. Green candles for healing and good luck. Pink is for love and Relationships. Red is the colors of fire and is used for acceleration and one seeing lust and sex.

The basic crystals are clear quartz is for improving energy, so you place it with another crystal or a set of crystals will amplify the energy. If you are looking for a good set to manifest this would be my personal recommendations Aventurine, Carnelian, Yellow Citrine and Clear Quartz. If you would be trying to attract love this would be the set I would recommend Moonstone, Prehnite, Quantum Quattro, Yellow Citrine and Rose Quartz. Don't forget you can still use the clear crystal to amplifier these crystals. Everyone has a different opinion about clearing, charging, and programming crystals. One of the easy ways to use Selenite crystals to do the clearing and charging for you. The programming is what do you want the crystal(s) to do for you. It is placing your intentions into the crystal. You can speak to the crystal, you can pray over the crystal. You can envision your intention leaving your 3rd eye going into the crystal in the form of a beam light. You can write what you want on a piece of paper and roll each side of the crystal over the writing.

There is all type of information on candles, crystals, and incense on the web or a local metaphysical store. Reminder it is the not the crystals, candles or incense that do all the work it is you! So, do spend a lot of time or money buying that special candle, crystals or incense. Yes, they help! But some of my most powerful experience was without using the aids. This is discipline you have to train yourself to do this, if it does not work at first keep trying, it will work.

Let me give you little more background on myself. I have been working many years in call centers never like it, feeling drained and worn out. To me, it is the devils' workshop! My solution was to get a better job outside of this call center environment. It seemed hard to find something better. And when I received something better what happened it did not last and I had to go back to the call center. By the way, college-educated graduated from a top 20 university and graduated with honors from another university. This should not be happening to me? I read a number of this book from the above authors and many others to help me fix my problem. It did come to me why I always seem to be gravitating to the call centers? It because you have to learn how to be the master and not the slave of this situation. Once you learn to become the master it, you will move on. This the teaching of Karmic law. I feel my purpose is to teach others these pillars of success and teach others how to heal themselves of the toxic environments that our society has created.

Affirmations - Subconscious Mind Power - Take Charge of Your Mind and Become Successful Today!

silhouette of woman raising her right hand

A common thread between successful people is that many of them use affirmations to reprogram their subconscious minds. These men and women recognise their own failings as humans and they take a disciplined approach when working at rectifying their negative traits and habits; first by reflection and then through the action of using affirmations. The onset of this regimented behaviour is that they have many positive personal changes in their lives, causing them to be very successful.

Sports people are spending thousands upon thousands of dollars employing the help of clinical psychologists who train them in the art of positive thinking and habit forming to assist their becoming world champion athletes and Olympians. In the business world it is now becoming common practice to spend large sums of money to retrain staff using power thinking seminars etc. From the money that these people are spending we can see that there is obviously some logic in looking at the mind.

Where do our thoughts come from? All thinking comprises of one of two conditions; either thoughts we choose to think or thoughts we are programmed to think. Over a lifetime, our habits have conditioned us to certain thoughts arising. These thoughts are kept flowing through our fears, our expectations, angels and God, as well as our subconscious mind and the superconsciousness - a global consciousness or etheric web that connects all beings. The local or personal mind has two levels of consciousness - conscious and subconscious mind. The conscious mind is that with which you communicate and directly react to your external world. The subconscious mind is a sponge that over the years of your life you soak information into. This soaking of information forms patterns or imprints that the subconscious mind then uses to execute instructions for your behaviour. Your subconscious mind is much like a computer in that it doesn't know right from wrong and executes orders based on what is programmed into it.

Before birth we are influenced by the environment that surrounds our mother, with her feelings and emotions affecting us in the womb. A mother, who reads and talks to the baby and makes a point of nurturing her own soul, will most certainly affect the baby in a positive manner. As we grow from our entry into the world as a small baby, we absorb all that surrounds us. These surroundings, whether they are parents, teachers, television or major events in our lives, program us quietly behind the scenes. We are walking programmed individuals. The down side to this is that we have reactions to situations programmed into us. We have ground-in negative habits and the subconscious mind plays them out over and over again. When it comes to cigarettes, weight-loss and other habits, many of us feel we have poor impulse control; a seeming inability to control ourselves in the moment. This is due to our subconscious programming.

Considering our subconscious imprints, and regardless of our actual conscious thoughts, we are automatically set on an unchecked course where we go about life often wondering 'Why did I do that again?'. An example being that although we know deep down that 'expecting negativity' or being negative in any manner never brings any good, we have habits formed in our subconscious mind that cause us to play out negative thought patterns and behaviour time and time again. To act without 'expecting' negativity is an essential element for growth on ones personal spiritual journey; therefore, this is an area that can be addressed through the re-programming of the subconscious mind.

The subconscious mind does not know right from wrong. This can be positive in that we are able to use this peculiarity and 'feed it' (the subconscious) with affirmations or 'new habits', positively 'reprogramming' ourselves. The subconscious mind can be programmed to 'believe' anything. The procedure is quite simple; however, it requires dedication to a process.

The affirmation process works in two realms. Physically, an affirmation reprograms your mind, emotions and body. Spiritually an affirmation affects your spirit and changes you from the inside out - causing positive inner changes, all the while externally attracting persons who both test and support such changes.

My experience in teaching others about affirmations over the years is that some people are quite lazy and can't really be bothered to reprogram their negative habits. Some people feel that it is much easier to just sit back and let their habits rise over and over again, or in the case of one particular group of people, to take medication as a substitute for their laziness. Or so they think. The reality is that with a little work over time, it is quite easy to get into the new habit of using affirmations on a daily basis. Many ordinary people use affirmations. The irony for lazy people who can't be bothered to do affirmations is that they would have such an easier life and so much less stress and more time to be 'lazy' (or take constructive time out), should they take the path of actually giving affirmations a go. I have learnt that laziness is actually negative karma. The word "Karma" means 'Action' or 'Deed'; therefore if you do not do any action (not counting proper rest breaks) you are creating negative karma and if you do perform action, whatever it may be (providing it is not harming yourself or others), then you are creating positive karma.

We All Have Dragons To Slay

We all have our demons or dragons to destroy.

Just like Don Quixote who set about destroying the windmills of Holland, we all have our own demons or windmills to destroy.

Each and everyone one of us comes into this world with a mission, and part of that mission is to overcome fear or dispel whatever karma we may be working on at the time.

Every challenge in life presents us with an opportunity to learn. We often erroneously think the challenges we face are someone else's doing.

They aren't.We each create our own destiny and learning experiences.

Although there may be a perpetrator, and someone we believe is doing us wrong, that act is something we created ourselves to enable us to solve an issue and create an environment for us to move past some karma created by us in this lifetime or in the past.

After we get past the initial anger, the only thing left to do is to understand what we can do about it and learn from it.

Those instances of perceived injustice can actually make us a better person, and I have found if I don't learn from them, the actions get repeated until I do.

There isn't anyway around them.

In today's world with all the advancements in technology, life should be easier than it ever has been in the history of man, but people keep inventing new ways to make their life more difficult.

This just proves to me that humanity continuously needs new challenges to grow intellectually, deep down inside, no one wants an easy way in life.

We need challenges to stimulate our minds and souls, the unhappiest people are often times the ones who life has handed them a silver spoon.

As a result, slaying our dragons should be one of our main objectives in life.

Many times we worry about someone else's dragons and forget about our own.

There is only one person who can meet their own demons, no one else can do it for them.

We can help, but they have to do it themselves, we should always remember this.

That is why it is often said,"No good deed goes unpunished." When we do too much and interfere with their karma, the universe will let us know in no uncertain terms.

People only want so much help, and to know that someone is thinking of them, then they can do what needs to be done, in their own way.

We have enough to think about taking care of our own issues, and only by solving our own problems can we help anyone else.

I have traversed the globe in search of truth, my truth, during which time I have had an opportunity to study with Aborigine elders, native American Indians, and some of the world's finest intuitive. All of this has lead me to better understand our world and all things therein contained.

What Are YOU Attracting in Your Life? Connecting New Age, Metaphysics and Quantum Physics

"God does not play dice with the Universe." ~ Albert Einstein

In an earlier article, I discussed how the philosophy of, 'we become what we attract' dates back thousands of years. That what you tell yourself becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy through the power of "I am" statements. And that most people are unaware that they continually attract exactly what they do not want through negative statements like "I think I'm getting sick," or "I'm too fat, too old, etc."

New Age thought often connects self-empowerment with Universal energies. Books like The Law of Attraction and The Secret are based on this philosophy of what you put out comes back to you. But to go beyond New Age thought we need to go into Metaphysics that can be explained through quantum physics.

Metaphysics is derived from the Greek word Meta meaning "beyond" or "after," and physics pertaining to the physical. Initially meaning beyond the physical, today it encompasses theories and explanations for phenomena not often explained by the physical sciences. Metaphysics can involve theories of the origins of the Universe, consciousness, the purpose of life, universal laws, and Karma. It can attempt to answer questions that the physical sciences cannot. Metaphysics attempts to explain phenomenon that traditional science does not attempt to explain. Concepts such as psychic phenomenon, telepathy, ESP, Out-of-Body Experiences, Near Death Experiences, Reincarnation and the spirit dimension science usually dismisses through "lack of evidence." However, quantum physics does in fact explain such Metaphysical phenomenon.

The field of quantum physics began in the early 1900's. It is a set of principles that describe the behavior of subatomic particles. Quantum theory provides accurate descriptions for many previously unexplained phenomena such as black body radiation and stable electron orbits. In the development of quantum theory, physicist Max Planck (1858-1947), considered the founder of quantum theory, proposed that energy waves could be described as consisting of small packets or quanta. Albert Einstein (1879-1955) further postulated that an electromagnetic wave such as light was composed of particles called photons. This led to a theory of unity between subatomic particles and electromagnetic waves called wave-particle duality in which particles and waves were neither one nor the other, but had properties of both. Quantum mechanics led to the development of the transistor, electron microscope, magnetic resonance imaging, the laser and semiconductors.

An interesting discovery of quantum physics is that of nonlocality, the phenomenon that when two particles interact, they continue to influence each other and transfer information between them instantly, no matter how distantly separated they become. They can be separated by inches, feet, or millions of miles, and the transfer of information is immediate, indicating instant communication. This transfer of information is not bound by the laws of the physical universe, such as traveling at the speed of light (186,282.4 miles per second). It is believed this nonlocal transfer of information operates in an unseen reality, one that connects all physical events with the universe.

Using theories in quantum physics, we can explain how Metaphysical principles such as energy healing, clairvoyance, and consciousness existing outside the body all function:

Light is composed of electromagnetic energy that has properties of both particles and waves.

These subatomic particles can transfer information as well and are not bound by properties of space or time.

Human thought/consciousness produces energy similar to that of light-energy with the same properties; consciousness is not bound by space and time.

Consciousness/thought is composed of energy that can affect matter near or far.

Science is now explaining how energy can leave the body and affect its surroundings, be it near or far (energy particles are nonlocal). Quantum physics is explaining how energy is composed of matter and can leave the body, affecting various energy layers around it. Science is now explaining what sages, mystics, and religious leaders have professed for thousands of years, that energy travels in

waves and can affect the physical world. Our consciousness is energy that can affect our lives by attracting other energy to it. When we project negative energy outward through self-debilitating thoughts and statements, that energy returns to us. As does positive and uplifting energies that will return better health, happiness and prosperity! It is all based in science!

Quantum physics also supports that our consciousness does not die when the physical body does. Our consciousness is energy that continues on when the body does not. What has been observed during NDE's and in past life regressions (reincarnation) is being explained by the "science' of quantum physics.

The science of quantum physics now explains that our consciousness is energy that can affect our lives, as in New Age thought and that our consciousness is universal energy that can transcend space, time and dimensions as in Metaphysical principles of karma, reincarnation, psychic phenomenon and connecting with those Universal energies. What you are attracting is based on science! What do you want to attract?

Working With Life's Challenges To Gain Knowledge

Image result for challenges

Life is always presenting us with challenges. Life challenges come in many forms as relationships, work, money, illness, and decisions and so on. Why do we have these challenges? What are we to gain from them? How can they be prevented? These are a few things we will be discussing.

We are presented with life challenges for a few reasons. Some are self-induced and some are part of our life lessons. Understanding the difference can help us get through them faster and with less difficulty.

Self-induced life lessons are mainly caused by food and lifestyles. They are things we have the most control over but we tend to overindulge in our senses. When we eat food and live a life that is not balancing for our bodies our bodies create toxins. The toxins build in our body and then accumulate at the weakest point or at the part of the body that is connected to the issues that are causing the toxins. By paying attention to our bodies and associating them with our life we can get signs.

Things that seem to be out of our control are parts of our learning expertise or karma. One philosophy on life it that we are born with lessons we need to learn and help others learn. We tend to want to compare ourselves with others and we may ask why their life is easier than ours. This is all point of view. You may see a person that is successful in business and has a lot of money. What you do not know is that they may have been bankrupted many times as they built their business. As the business grew they may have been greedy or not taken care of employees or did not have a healthy work life balance then the business failed so they had to start over. This may happen a few times until they learn that lesson. Maybe you look at the person in an abusive relationship. They finally get out and start fresh. They could end up with another person who is also abusive. If there is a life lesson we have to learn it is inevitable we will be faced with it over and over. Each time it gets harder and harder until we learn the lesson.

Look at life as a river. You are in an inner-tube floating down. Some parts of the river are nice and slow where you can relax. Other parts can speed up and can represent stress or a lot going on in your life. As you float down the river of life there are obstacles that may pop up, imagine this as a rock. We have a few choices to deal with this. Some people when presented with a life obstacle run from it. They would get out and walk down the edge of the river. Once it seems they pass the obstacle they get back in. But guess what, another obstacle pops up again but larger. This will happen again and again until we are forced to deal with it. Other people take on the challenge. This is a belief system. School, friends, and family may say if you have a challenging figure it out, solve the problem. But when we do this we keep running into the obstacle. We may then start to feel stuck like we are not making any forward movement. We still have the pressures of life, that flow of the river pushing us. Now we are pressed against the obstacle and cannot see around it so it may seem larger than what it really is and we still have the other things going on in our life. Then can make the obstacle seem even harder to deal with. Another option is to recognize the obstacle as a learning experience and work with it. Some of them are easy and some can be very difficult but we will make it through it. Yes, it may suck at the time but it will get better. We may bump into it and have some back pressure but we eventually will make it around it.

The quicker we recognize it as lessons and learn from them, the quicker we can move through them faster and easier. Look for repeated patterns in your life. Do you handle the situation the same every time it comes up or do you process it differently, learning and helping change in your life? Also, keep in mind that the same situation can have many lessons learned from it so do not assume that it is the same lesson. Evaluate where you are in life. Many times the lessons mirror us. We may not be taking care of something we need to or mistreating a person that can come back to us as life lessons.

The lessons that can be the hardest to explain are the karmic lessons. We may be living a balanced life, eating the right food, having low stress, saving the world then bam we get sick. We are thinking where did that come from? Why did this happen to me? There could be many reasons for this. Is it because we are giving and giving and aren't able to receive? We may get so sick that we have to let people take care of us. Maybe it could be that you need to exercise and your illness causes you to do physical therapy.

By understanding that there are many reasons for life's challenges. We can look at them as learning experiences then we can make it through them faster with less of a challenge. So when something good or bad happens to you, look at it and ask what did I learn from this?

The Seared Conscience Understanding Karma

Image result for choices

That small inner voice we hear reminding us why we should not make a choice to do something that is wrong or harmful to another is emanating from within us, from a part that is accompanying us on the journey of life. It is never really separated from us yet many attempt to silence it, to disconnect it from their daily lives. It is a little like hanging up the phone on an annoying caller. The more times we are willing to look away, to do nothing when something is required or choose to ignore the voice and do something we know will harm others, the greater the scar on our conscience becomes. It is seared when there is a total separation in our consciousness from that higher part of ourselves.

Karma is frequently used to remind us to follow the golden rule, 'Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.' The presumption being that karma will get you if you don't. Karma is energy, our own energy. Its range spans from light and clear to dark and murky. Just like our conscience. It carries the energy of our choices in life. It has no attachment to what that energy may generate. It does exactly what it was designed to do; carry the energy until it is time to meet it and rejoin it. Thus, you 'reap what you sow or meet your karma.' It is not vindictive. When difficult things come by way of a karmic debt it is simply delivering the results of the energy expended when it was activated. It is the bearer of the energy of cause and effect or action and reaction. Likewise, when unexpected events occur that bring great joy in our lives it is delivering the results of light filled energy.

It is delusional to imagine that you can 'shake it off' or ignore the energy that surrounds you. You created it through your choices; it accompanies you throughout life. Sometimes the delivery comes in small doses, other times it brings a major event. It arrives with the same intensity it was created in. If your past choices have been filled with darkness, bitterness, anger or hatred you are better served to run to meet the energy or karma. You do this by replacing harm filled events with kindness and empathy towards the affected party. If your karma is filled with light you have been steadily paying it forward and have learned that unexpected kindnesses are a part of life.

So many times we are counseled to 'make good choices.' Rarely does anyone tell us what is going on behind the scenes when we are making them. It is this very energy that is coming to life, emanating around our own life force and will stay until it is resolved, either way. That inner voice is not attempting to control us. It is reminding us that the road will be broken and bumpy with one choice and smooth and easy with the other. It attempts to level the path of life. Still, there is that still small give we are all endowed with at birth, a gift from the Creator called choice. The inner guidance is the wrapping on that powerful gift. To separate it from ourselves is to fall into the darkness derived from a seared conscience. Not in the end, but throughout life, it really is about choice.

What Is the Law of Attraction?

Image result for the law of attraction

There is no definitive answer to this unseen power but the law of attraction has been attributed to many thoughts such as an ancient philosophy, karma, or more specifically, an omnipotent universal force. Some sources liken it to gravity or lets just say it simply exists. The law of attraction responds to what you focus on, feel strongly and think about, which ultimately manifests itself into your reality. The upside is a very positive thing yet negative thoughts can result in quite the opposite.

Those who subscribe to the law of attraction claim that it is an inevitable law, like gravity. While, even those who don't acknowledge the law of attraction are participating in it, nonetheless. Before the popularity of the best selling book and DVD, "The Secret", this phenomenon was probably better known as 'cause and effect' but it wasn't as mysterious or interesting as it is now.

Good Vibrations

A belief behind the law of attraction is the idea that the whole universe gives off certain vibrations. As a part of the universe, you, too, give off vibrations. This is sort of like your personal broadcast, in much the same way a radio transmits sound waves, the law of attraction responds to the vibrations given out by individuals.

If you give off positive vibrations, then the law states you will receive positive things in response. To generate these vibrations, sources say you should visualize reaching your goals and dreams. Every day, you think specifically about those things you want to achieve. Between the times that you are thinking so specifically, you need to cultivate an overall positive attitude so that your vibration will always be positive.

In other words, you can't make up for 23 hours of negative thinking with one hour of positive visualization. Whilst we all have negative thoughts and not a lot we can do about that, we can enhance the process by creating such things as vision boards, reading inspiring novels or just surrounding ourselves with uplifting and positive people.

Like Attracts Like

The law of attraction is based on the principle that "like attracts like." This is why a positive outlook is said to affect you positively, while a negative one does quite the reverse. Are you a radiator or a drain? One who exudes warmth or one who drags you down! Probably not the greatest of examples, but I think you get my point.

The Subconscious

An interesting theory within the law of attraction suggesting the brain cannot distinguish properly between observing an event in real life and one within your own mind. To the brain, so the theory goes, an event is an event. It is perceived as being real, even though it is only a thought process. How powerful is that? This is why the law of attraction can turn your thoughts into reality, good or bad - it taps into the very core of your subconscious.

Taking Action

As opportunities begin to come your way, the need to act on them must be your goal. After all, it was your thoughts that manifested themselves. You should be able to distinguish these opportunities from any other ordinary event, especially if they are part of any goal that you have set yourself. People who study the law of attraction follow up on any and all opportunities that have anything to do with their goals, and on those that just intuitively "feel right." After all, sometimes you can't tell how relevant something is to your goals until you act upon it.

7 Strategies To Get Rid Of Your Bad Karma

Heavy karma can trap us in terrible patterns. We attract the same types of people, jobs, illnesses, events, accidents, and unneeded burdens into our lives. The much-needed break in the karmic cycle occurs when we analyze our personal karma and take the necessary steps to resolve it.
Put into practice these 7 strategies to become unstuck from your current karma and manifest a new reality:
Bad karma feeds off resentment. It makes you attract people who give you even more reason to be resentful.

1. Identify your karma.
Identifying your karma means pinpointing in what areas of life you feel stagnant. Is it in your career that you can’t seem to break through, or a love relationship that just won’t move forward? Have you been suffering the same struggles with certain family members for too long?
We are each bound to a unique karma that locks us in unwanted circumstances. Reflect honestly on your obstacles and understand where the problem lies. When and how did this all start? The first step to untangling yourself from your karmic knots and advancing towards your true potential, is to revert to the origin of the issue.
2. Sever toxic ties.
Feel no remorse in cutting off people who invade your field of energy with burdensome karma. Life is complicated enough — don’t let the wrong people complicate it even more! This doesn’t mean you should create ill-will between you and another person, but that you should politely and respectfully distance yourself from people who bring you more harm than good.
You don’t need to offer too many explanations; a simple note of closure that wishes them well will suffice. If the person’s energy doesn’t feel “right” and they constantly inflict stress on you, you owe it to yourself and your karma to let them go their own merry way.
3. Take responsibility.
You begin to feel your energy shift when you admit your wrongs. Taking responsibility is difficult to do because your ego doesn’t like to be blamed, but it widens your perspective. You start to see where you might’ve gone wrong, and how to do things differently the next time a similar situation arises. You learn from your mistakes. This is not to say that you should feel guilt or dwell on the past, but simply that, in the future, you promise to consult your karma first when faced with a decision.
4. Heal your karma.
Perform actions that nourish your spirit and invoke well-being on every level. Go back and close open doors, alleviate old pains, and comfort your inner child. Learn to accept your karma and work with the universal cards you’ve been dealt. Carry out deeds that counteract accumulated karma from long ago, and contribute to the wellness of our world. Time doesn’t heal all wounds — it engrains them more deeply. Only by healing your karma can you evolve out of your past.
5. Defy your weaknesses.
We perceive ourselves to be weak in certain areas and strong in others. Maybe you think that you’re good at pleasing others, but bad at standing up for yourself. What you don’t realize is that your weaknesses are your secret strengths: they define you just as much as your more prominent traits do.
Learn to see your weaknesses as karmic attributes of your complete being. Don’t become the “victim” of your vulnerabilities; this invites all sorts of karmic scenarios that play on your sensitivities. Develop, instead, the courage to defy your downfalls and take the reins of karmic patterns.
6. Take new action.
If you see that the old ways of doing things aren’t benefiting you, modify your behavior. Sometimes we’re so stuck in acting a certain way that we don’t see its obvious drawbacks. Act on principle; this is the simplest and most underrated way to compensate all karmic debts and generate positive karma. Do good, even when you’re not expected to. Take care of yourself and others. Steer clear of compromising situations. In short, act in ways you would want others to act towards you.
7. Forgive everyone.
Nothing frees you quite like forgiveness. And this virtue comes more easily when you acknowledge its transformative graces. To forgive is to detach — from the anger, bitterness, and frustration you harbor internally. Bad karma feeds off of resentment — it makes you attract people who give you even more reason to be resentful. We often wonder why we can’t escape the wheel of negativity — instead we avoid the truth that it's our very emotions that reel us into such cycles.
Karma is a unique force to each of us — every person is fighting his or own karmic battles. But the sooner we identify the sources of our unsettled karma and take action to resolve it, the sooner we experience the miracle of liberation to fulfill the greater purpose of our lives.
