Message From the Universe: Be the Problem Solver

"Holy Mackerel, it's not supposed to be easy!

Please, never think or say that again, ever. OK?

It is easy.

(The sound of thunder fading into the distance... )
The Universe"

When we have solutions to all problems in our lives, we feel empowered to tackle anything or everything that crosses our path. We feel nothing is impossible to accomplish. We look forward to the challenges because we know that solutions are just one step away. When in school, when you studied very hard for an exam, you felt ready to Ace the test and come out the room feeling like a champ. You didn't fear anything and ready to tackle whatever was on the exam. Imagine life had a manual where you would study its content thoroughly and never be stuck when challenges arose. Would you feel excited about your life? If everything was presented on paper, there is really nothing worth looking forward to since you already know where you are headed. We feel our challenges are difficult because of not finding solutions to all existing and pending problems. We end up feeling depressed and irritated because of these reasons. Your mind created these problems so it can allow itself to find their solutions. Depending how you perceive the complexity of these problems, you are in control of their outcome. It's all up to you to make everything easy for yourself.

One famous quote of Albert Einstein:

"Problems cannot be solved with the same mind set that created them."
If you allow your mind set to be negative in nature, you won't be able to find solution to your problems. If you look for the good out of all the bad, you are changing your mind set to solve every problem that crosses your path. If you feed your mind with negative thoughts, chances are that more of the bad will show up in your life and you will start feeding more negativity that will render more depressing outcome. If you know that negative mind set can destroy your potential, why adopt it? As mentioned previously, if your life had a manual, it would tell you to stop thinking this way and change your outlook. Wouldn't be great to predict the future as to what would be the best relationship for us and avoid going on many dates to eventually discover that the person is missing a few chromosomes? If that would be the case, all online dating sites would go bankrupt since we would find our significant other after the first date. This is when common sense is crucial and when you see more and more people going into toxic relationship because of their past toxic relationship, you start wondering what is WRONG with these people? Why are they constantly going back to the same type of relationship knowing it will have disastrous ending? I guess only psychiatrist can figure out the answers to these questions. I guess the root of their problem is from childhood where they faced abusive parents and had to create alternate solution in their mind where when being adults, they feel they can save that abusive partner and be their savior. Whatever the reason, you will never be qualified to enter someone's mind and find the solution to their problem. You can help them, but not save them. Start by saving yourself first and keep yourself sane throughout the process. This is your life, live it well.

Change Your Mind, Change Your World

Have you ever felt like you are not given the kind of respect you deserve? In a way like you are taken for granted or not taken seriously? In one way or another, all of us have felt this way. We've yearned to be looked at as an authority, someone people look up to and trust. We're not taught in school how to do this or our parents didn't tell us the secret on how to gain authority. It's something we learn and gain by ourselves. And the answer is as simple as changing your mindset. What? No way! Oh but is. People tend to underestimate the power of the mind. Change your game by changing your mind.

Take the time to look back and think about all the people in your life who were an authority, a leader, guy at work who has more credibility than you or the man who you look up to and inspires you. They are up there not for the reasons you think. If you really think about it, they aren't the smartest of the bunch, not the most educated, neither are they the best. And in no way do they even call themselves an expert or guru. No. Instead, they are up there because they are great teachers and advocates for the success of their customers or employees.

Let's take for example Richard Simmons. Who doesn't know this guy? This famous fitness personality has been a household name ever since he started gaining popularity during the first few years in his career. Stop and think though, do you really think he is the best person to really get people into shape? Is he the Einstein of fitness and nutrition? Or does he even call himself a master of his craft? Of course not.

People look up at him and give him authority because he is a great educator. Instead of sharing information that's far too complicated to understand, he figures out what your problems are and finds out a way to fix them. He even has social media that he updates on a regular basis with topics that are helpful and easy to understand for his fans and followers.

He doesn't try too hard to impress his followers because by now they're already pretty impressed with the commitment and desire to solve people's problems.

Depending on what field you're in, you can share with people things you know that you think they will want to know as well. If you're a nurse for example, you can make a blog post for common health problems and quick remedies people can do at home. Remember, the simpler you can make it, the better. People will trust you better if you give them easy solutions. Like Richard, you'll soon be the expert you'll want to listen to.

You can be an advocate also by showing people that you have their best interests at heart. Using the nurse example again, they can start up conferences to take up people's concerns and try to solve it they best way that you can.

So let's make a recap. How will you be viewed as an authority again? Make that mind shift. Find out what concerns and troubles your target. Give solutions. Show that you care. And help them climb up that ladder of success. Ladies and gentlemen, that's how it's done.

5 Simple Steps to Elevate Your Life

I know what it’s like to think that the lifestyle you want is out of reach. Just over 12 years ago, I would lie on my bed in my tiny 400-square-foot studio apartment and flip through magazines, wishing I could have the luxurious lifestyles I read about.
Despite that negative, nagging voice in my head that reminded me I could barely afford rent, I’m now living a beautiful life I created for myself from scratch. Instead of moping around an apartment I can barely afford, I now have the means to travel and to inspire others.
How’d I do it? By deciding not to settle for being average and thinking BIG.
Changing your mindset can be a challenge, but the rewards are well worth the cost. Here’s how you can get started…
  1. Eliminate negativity. This includes negative self-talk, too. Why would the universe bring you a better life if you don’t appreciate what you already have? Show gratitude for everything in your life now. Those seemingly bad days happen for a reason, so whenever you find yourself thinking, “I can’t do this” or “that’s impossible,” reframe it as the opposite. “I can do that, that is possible…” You owe it to yourself to give yourself the love and support you need to succeed.

  2. Document your dreams. I wanted to manifest a new house, so I listed all of the qualities in my dream home: a 3-car garage, workout room, walk-in closets… (Don’t censor yourself! Anything is possible, even if it seems silly now.) I also bought some real estate magazines, cut out pictures of homes I love, and created a collage. I’m constantly updating my “dream board,” which is now proudly displayed in my dream house!

  3. Surround yourself ONLY with supportive people. I only shared my house dream with friends and family I knew would support my decision. (NOT those prone to phrases like “Are you crazy? Who do you think you are? Ms. Trump?”) Your true friends and family will be happy to share in your dream. If you don’t have anyone else to support you, then it’s time to make new friends—join a local networking group or a mastermind.

  4. Decide, believe, and watch for clues. It’s not enough to make a decision to work towards your dreams. You must also truly believe in them! Don’t worry about HOW your dreams will manifest themselves. Watch for clues, and the HOW will find you, perhaps in the form of a new business partner or a new client. But remember that the dream comes before the HOW.

  5. ACT on opportunities when they appear. Action involves risk. You might have to hire more people to help with a new client. You’ll need time to research that prospective business partner. Or figure out how to hire that amazing new mentor. But it’s up to YOU to take action when the path is revealed. The universe is supporting you, and each step will bring you closer to your dreams.
