Message From the Universe: Being Where You Need to Be

"There's a reason you chose Earth, exactly when you did, as exactly who you are, with those already in your life and those who soon will be: To be an example, to shine your light, and to give hope.

Yeah, you were needed.. super bad.

Kind of obvious now, huh?
The Universe"

We all have a mission on planet Earth and whoever we come across will either teach us a lesson, contribute to our success or make us fail. Depending who you are as a person, you either will let your experiences teach you a lesson for you to grow or crush and break you down. You decide the path you want to go. Failures are lessons, and nothing else. Nothing is permanent, except death. In 50 years from now, death will no longer be permanent with advance medical and scientific research, but for now, I guess death is a pretty permanent event in your life. So how do you want your life to be? Will you let things or people bother you to a point of you allowing it to control your own life? How will you react when facing adversities? What are you going to do overcome your pain and still keep on moving forward? Only you can answer these questions. No one will ever do anything to you when helping you with these struggles. Learn to depend on yourself to get to where you want to go. Some family and friends can assist you when walking towards the right direction, but the rest is left up to you. Make sure to not disappoint yourself in this journey.

Nothing is easy and if it was, everyone would do it. If being a millionaire is your ultimate goal, expect to work your ass off to accomplish your goal. You will come across many obstacles along the way, many friends and family members who will do everything they can to stop you from accomplishing your goals while trying to come out as giving you the best advice to guarantee your ultimate success. You need to learn to listen to your inner voice that will be the one guiding you on the right path. If you do come across failure, learn from it and keep on going forward. Some little tweaking might be needed to make things succeed. Once you have reached your goals, you will forget all the suffering, all the sacrifices, all the hurdles you faced throughout your journey to ultimate success. So what will be coming next? Well, it really depends on you. Your new journey has just begun and you will come across the same hurdles and challenges. The difference now is that you know that there is light at the end of the tunnel and if you put in the same amount of energy, the same dedication and belief in yourself, you will again succeed far beyond your expectation. You will now know what it takes to make it big on planet Earth.

Change Your Life For The Better And Begin To Live Your Dreams (By James Nussbaumer)

Speaking of personal transformation and manifesting anything, here's a true story that may inspire you to take action on shifting to a better life:

Last week I got a telephone call from a long time golfing pal buddy whom I hadn't spoken to in a few years.

Like other people, I was excited to hear his voice.

He said he 'd heard about me making life changes and all about my new writing studio in the center of town, and he wanted to ask me about my new books being released and what's going on in my life.

To my surprise, he informed me that he was let go from his job recently and was going through making life changes himself.

You and I understand that there is no obvious factor when companies want to lay-off or let go of individuals.

From the tone and manner in which he was speaking, I could tell that he has actually ended up being stronger and more excited about the future and making life changes.

He's more open to opportunities and authenticity.

That's not all.

He informed me of further shocking news: his father died a few months prior to he being let go from the job. This, of course, had forced him into making life changes.

I thought to myself, "Oh my God, how is he handling all of this?"

How in the world could anybody ever take the pressure of dealing with the death of their parent and losing a job within a few months' time, and being under pressure to begin making life changes?

Exactly what would you do if these occurred to you? Give up on life? Or would you set your sails for how to live your dreams?

He informed me that he's got to be strong and he didn't want his own children being depressed over the matter.

I'm so happy for him that these unfortunate occurrences in fact made him take and think note about his life and re-prioritize his life, making life changes which he admitted that he 'd neglected in the past.

He turned the loss of a loved one and loss of a job into power and strength and a great personal transformation.

Since these occurrences, he decided and had the guts to be his own employer by joining his young nephew just out of college in a company venture. He feels that he has more control of his life and career, now, than ever before.

He explained to me that he now believes and visualizes that a great future is ahead, and acquires more complete satisfaction from life which he never felt before.

The Course in Miracles states, "In effect, then, what you believe you do see."

My good ole pal has personally transformed a great deal all the while being thrilled with making life changes.

Sometimes it takes a life shattering experience like, loss of family, divorce, loss of job, or other devastating circumstance.

How many of us imagine rising above our adversities rather than staying stuck, and being self-employed and being our own CEO, so to speak, and proceed to move forward.

For whatever fears many us have, often we never take action on doing what it takes to live your dreams.

The Course in Miracles asks us, "Would you join the crucifixion or the resurrection?"

Do you want what occurred to my longtime friend happen to you, so that you 'd actually sit down and consider positive change in your life? And literally begin doing the things that you truly like?

Or, do you wish to simply take charge and change your life for the better by taking action now?

The option is yours.

Do not wait until some sort of tragedy hits you hard to begin making life changes.

Organize your life proactively and change your life for the better. Take my pal's experience as an inspiration to live your dreams.

To living your dreams!

Every Flower Must Grow Through Dirt

Why every flower must grow through dirt is a gentle reminder that nothing worth having comes easy. We may look at beautiful things and successful people with envy. But if we take a deeper look, it is clear that we often forget that anything worthwhile had to struggle before rising to beauty and success.
In life, how many times did you go through an unpleasant situation? Did you ever think or ask yourself if it would ever end? Why is adversity occurring in life? What is the meaning of it all?

The message conveys that seeing a beautiful thing, successful person, or even exceptional circumstance is only the tip of the iceberg. But instead, as you look underneath the surface, you can see it was not always a bed of roses to achieve the status they now have.

And that, just like a flower growing through dirt, such things and people have chosen to fight, rise through and flourish despite the adversities. It is such a perfect reminder that remarkable things result from difficult times, struggles and hard work.

Each Flower Must Struggle
What a great feeling to know that there is light at the end of the tunnel. Just like every flower must grow through dirt, you have to experience hardships, develop and blossom before reaching glory. It also shows that no one is entirely immune of living free from suffering and grief. In all of human history, every single period had its full share of chaos, despair, and misery.

While your life may take a painful turn, you might be tempted to ask why it happens to you. Even if it is a typical reaction, you should instead focus on the solution. Sometimes, it also seems to be no light through the darkness of the woods.

As a result, you feel alone, abandoned, heartbroken, yet a flower must grow through dirt and endure the middle of nowhere. You then view your troubles as misfortunes and bad luck. Pessimism begins to occupy your mind. You become impatient in trying to get an answer for your predicament. And you forget that often, patience is also required.

A Flower Must Grow Strong
In nature, flowers that grow up in windy surroundings become stronger. As storms beat around a young flower bud, forces inside the flower head and the stem create changes. These forces stimulate the roots to grow faster and spread farther. Then, it starts to build cell structures that make the flower more flexible to the burden of the wind.

Therefore, it shows you that you learn, grow and become stronger as you face and overcome the trials which you have to go through and pass. You also know that there are times when adversity tests your limits, and you have no other choice.

On the other hand, these adversities allow you to be a better version of you. Thus, a flower must grow through dirt to blossom into something beautiful and glorious. With no adversity in life, there would be no struggles, and with no difficulties, no glory or success.

The Flower and its Adversities
But why is adversity occurring in life? Well, at times, some of your choices produce circumstances that generate hard times. At other times, your decisions or other people create trials for you, which can be painful. And occasionally, out of control situations cause pain and struggles in your life.

The Flower and Its Choices
There are life choices you make which cause you pain and sorrow when the costs of those decisions are wrong. Unlike a flower, as you grow through the adversities you created, it teaches and prevents you from making similar choices in the future.

So, the dirt you are going through is pushing and giving you the real desire to climb the hill and change yourself in one way or another. In the process, it may cost you time, tears, and changes in your habits and lifestyles. But in the end, it will all be worth it, just like the flower that blossoms and reaches her beauty.

The Choices Made by Other People
Adversities in your life can also be the cause made by the choices of other people. It can be challenging to accept and tolerate since you are not in control of the reason. Sometimes, people around you make poor choices, and you also pay the consequences.

Therefore, you feel frustrated by the circumstances you find yourself in. But since you cannot change the choices that other people make, you can only take some quiet time to think of a solution, and listen to what you feel you should do. Just like the sun strengthen the flower by helping her grow through the dirt and lift her burdens.

Out of Control Adversities and the Flower
Why do bad things happen to any of us? Well, there are laws of physics and natural laws that the flower abides by, and so we do. There are no choices. It is all based on actions and reactions to uncontrollable situations.

As a result, the planet we live on follows these laws and it is often impossible to interfere. And though, just like every flower must grow through dirt, it does not seem logical at times, the natural order of things and its ensuing adversities are something you cannot escape.

All you can do is to work on yourself, develop, trust in the process, have patience, mature, nurture, and become an excellent example for those around you. Be like the flower that must grow through dirt so that you can reap its beauty, success, and glory.

Why Hope Will Get You Through Anything

Life is full of twists and turns, it's easy to become despondent.

Obstacles and adversities show up unexpectedly and we find ourselves out of our comfort zone.

People say life is unfair?

I presume they're referring to life being unfavourable when things don't go as planned.

Surely, we're intelligent enough to know, we don't always get what we want. Sorry to rain on your parade.

Regardless, one thing that's helped me remain optimistic, is that not everything will go as planned and that's okay. In fact, not getting what I want is often a good thing, since there's often something greater on the horizon to fill its place.

We must accept life will be full of: obstacles, road blocks, negative emotions and circumstances that will derail our best laid plans. Knowing this should remove the burden, life is not pure sailing, but an adventure full of valleys and victories.

If you fear, "what could go wrong next," you place an unnecessary burden on your shoulders while dreading the worst.

If you adopt a hopeful and optimistic heart, you can breathe easier and expect a more pleasant future.

Hope Has What It Takes

Hope is more valuable than we give it credit for. It's a soft burning flame, unable to be extinguished and capable of enduring any conditions.

Hope has what it takes to get you through anything.

"People usually consider hope among the most wondrous of gifts: it keeps us going when we want to quit and makes possible victories that seem unattainable," affirms author Dr. Alex Lickerman in The Undefeated Mind: On the Science of Constructing an Indestructible Self.

Hope is the belief things will work, especially when it seems otherwise. It helps you stay calm and peaceful when something less than desirable emerges.

Hope believes you will get through it.

Hope remembers the times you made it through.

Hope teams with faith and believes in the impossible.

Emotional Upheaval

When times are tough, our emotions are intensified and not symbolic of who we are.

When the boss tells you the company is downsizing and your position is terminated, when your son gets expelled from school, your partner decides they don't know if they want to spend the rest of their life with you, the doctor gives you an adverse health report or your dog's gone missing, then your emotions are in for a roller-coaster ride.

But with hope, your thoughts gravitate toward optimism.

We cannot expect life to be smooth sailing. Unexpected conditions arise, not to overwhelm us but to test our inner resolve and awaken us to our true power.

Our emotional response in such times, is not indicative of our true self. That's because we respond to our external environment instead of staying composed.

Lessons To Be Learned

Sometimes when a situation is bleak, you're invited to master a lesson greater than you expect. This is when hope will get you through. If you lose your job, there might be a series of experiences during your transition of looking for another job.

You may realise you loathed your previous job and are now more determined to find a career path that makes you happy. Maybe you realise, you want to start your own business instead of working for someone. Consider this something to learn from instead of dwelling on the unfortunate setbacks.

Assuredly, there's a lesson and inner growth contained within your circumstances, even if you can't see it yet.

I appreciate the advice from author Jan Frazier in The Freedom of Being: At Ease with What Is, "The reality is that in the interval between the start of hope and when the outcome occurs, you don't know what's going to happen. The ego-mind dislikes not knowing. Feeling hope is a way of avoiding the discomfort of uncertainty."

Visualise A Positive Future

During hard times, do your best to envision a positive future. In fact, what you dwell upon is what you likely will get. Call it positive thinking, though what you hold in your mind is what you will receive.

We're the product of our emotions, given that we feel our way through life. If your emotions are fixed on negative aspects, you're likely to attract those situations because of your predominant reactions.

The universe reflects what you put out into the ether.

As an example, if I entertain negative thoughts related to not having enough money to pay my bills, I'll see evidence of this echoed in reality. I might notice a TV commercial discussing debt prevention or perhaps someone mentions their financial difficulties. If I'm aware, I recognise the warning signs that my thoughts are out of alignment. If I persist with these thoughts, it's likely to materialise because I've willed it into existence, whether I like it or not.

"Scientists have repeatedly demonstrated that changing our perspective and focusing on aspects of the situation that are in our control can have a hugely beneficial impact on our hope, motivation, and self-esteem," states author Guy Winch in Emotional First Aid: Practical Strategies for Treating Failure, Rejection, Guilt, and Other Everyday Psychological Injuries.

How do you see your future developing?

Close your eyes for a moment and visualise an optimistic path.

It requires work and discipline to create an intentional future and it can't be achieved overnight. This is because you're likely to slip into your old ways if you're not mindful of your thoughts.

Unattached To Outcomes

The world is full of people who have overcome incredible hurdles and failures to become successful and happy. They're unattached to outcomes because they appreciate that not everything goes as planned. When one door closes, another opens at the right time, as long as their thoughts are in alignment.

Allow life to weave her mysterious ways by being detaching from outcomes. What appears detrimental at first may simply be laying the groundwork for something greater late on.

Commit to a life of optimism, irrespective of the circumstances and raise the beacon of hope when times are tough. You can become confident through your willingness to see life from a different viewpoint.

The next time something doesn't go as planned, draw on hope and declare, "It'll be alright, I trust for the best in this situation" and chances are it will turn out as you intend.

Hope will get you through anything, but first you must create the circumstances for it to flourish, before it sets your world alight.
