Message From the Universe: Living ONLY for Today!

Man on Gray Shirt Portrait

"Sometimes, the person whose life looks the easiest, has had it the hardest, but they're just really good at not dwelling on the past, keeping busy in the moment, and rolling "like that."

And I know you know what I mean.

Proud like a farmer in the spring after it rains,
The Universe"

Everyone is battling their own struggles so when you are arguing with someone, no matter how mean they are to you, do not let your emotions take over and strike back aggressively towards that person. The best way to handle situations like that is to understand more of how much this person is suffering inside. This argument might be the perfect case of being at the wrong place at the wrong time for this person to lash at you, but in all actuality, they would have lashed at anyone else, you were unfortunately the chosen one. Nothing personal really, unless you really screwed up and they are just responding to your actions. Overall, it is important to put your ego aside and keep yourself calm during these difficult times. You want to be the person who deals with difficult situations and still come out of it unscathed. By doing so, you are showing better leadership than anyone else by staying calm and collected. Life is never really fair, no matter which way you look at it. Instead of trying to work against human nature, you would need to work with it. Avoid letting conflicts grow and tackle issues as soon as they show up, especially the important ones. Work on yourself and take meditation classes that can help calming yourself down during times of conflict. You would want to create a serene environment every chance you get and allow yourself to become a better person. Growing spiritually is crucial and working towards this goal will make you feel more accomplished than having a successful career. If you are not healthy mentally, you can't be healthy in any other area of your life. It all starts with the mind!

When you see people trying to lose weight and fail, it is become their mind didn't catch up with their body's desire to lose the pounds. Even when they do reach their physical goals, they suffer from body dismorphya, which can be a mental disorder, especially when looking at yourself in the mirror and still seeing your old overweight body. Work with yourself from within, which is the spiritual mind, and then focus on the physical part. As mentioned, everyone deals with daily struggles, and some more than others. Even the ones who seems like everything is going amazingly well, they had their share of struggles but they know not to let these past struggles occupy their mind and stop them from living their lives TODAY. They mastered the "how" to leave events in the past and focus on what to do at this given moment. Trying to control everything is what will make you miserable. Stop focusing on that part of your life and learn on how to let go, especially for the things you CAN'T control. Learning to let go of things and allow the Universe to take over is the best thing you can do. Go with the flow at times, just like swimming downstream instead of against current. At the end, you will more than just your energy.

Simple Tips To Cope With Anger

Man Wearing White Dress Shirt With Black Necktie

I often hear from my colleagues, friends and some family members that "I couldn't control my anger and stress"? "How I can cope with my anger or anxiety without messing up? " Well, I must say human is incomplete without emotions and anger is one of them, but things get serious when we cannot control the outcome of anger.

The excess of everything causes harm, likewise excess of anger invites other disorders like headache, heart disease, high blood pressure and sleeplessness. It affects your health and personal life. One may lose the chance of getting respect and people around us may leave due to aggressive actions.

I would like to share some simple and basic tips to avoid such conditions when bouts of anger attack.

• The first thing you must do is to calm yourself down, staying calm will help you figure out what's going on around you. After, knowing the cause of anger and understanding what others are trying to say, don't counter punch them.

• Take a deep breath and repeat some calm words to yourself while breathing deep.

• Drinking water decreases the level of anger and enhances your health, so take some fresh water.

• After that, identify the cause of your anger. Are you angry because you feel ignored or disrespected? Didn't someone obey your orders? Once you will let go of the anger, identifying and addressing the problem will be much easier.

• Analyze the problem, remove yourself from the scene until your brain cools down, go for small walks and listen to your favorite music.

• Think of some good things and memories related to your personality and try to divert your mind.

• Try to talk with your friends or closest one who listen and make you laugh.

• Force yourself to smile at other people as it will help change the way they talk to you.

• When you make yourself relax, you must express your feelings and thoughts to that specific person. Don't bottle up your anger, spill it out just after making yourself relax because shouting and loud words make any situation worse. Avoid making any decision under the influence of anger.

• Avoid caffeine, drugs or anything that makes you uncomfortable and hostile.

• Try to forgive and forget because excusing those who make others to feel shame for their own bad things and forgetting all negative thoughts, make you happy and healthy.

Although different articles suggest you how to avoid aggression, but nobody can force you to follow those rules or calm you down until you determine to manage your anger. Stay calm and live happily. People, who fail to control anger by using different techniques or even with these simple tips, don't waste time and consult a psychiatrist.

How To Escape When You're Feeling Helplessly Stuck And Depressed (By James Nussbaumer)

In previous articles I discussed being indicted by a grand jury over a foolish securities violation, and a warrant out for my arrest. And that I would be sentenced to 10 years in prison, and why staying calm under pressure when all hell breaks loose is so important.

Harboring the feeling of being trapped and unable to sleep that night, turning and tossing while the obvious was flooding my mind, I looked over to the bedside table to see the red, lighted numbers on the clock: 2 AM.

The full moon glowed and glistened over the calm, glasslike water, and soothed the feeling of being trapped. These dangerous types of feeling trapped anxiety thoughts ran through me.

Still gazing down at the lake, I continued to punish myself with guilt and the feeling of being trapped increased. It seemed as though they were aware of my presence and the feeling of being trapped.

The starry night was beautiful and warm, and was getting me through feeling depressed and stuck.

I put on my bathrobe and slippers to walk out into the yard and down the slope near the dock at the lake.

Even as they slowly streamed away, the ducks seemed to be looking back at me until they faded out of the darkness and into the glow of the moon.

I sat on the dew-soaked grass and continued to stare out over the lake, which was my friend for helping me how to escape. For years I had known this lake, and I 'd caught many fish here.

And many years earlier, back to the 1940s, my grandparents had owned property adjacent, where my mother had spent much of her childhood on the lake, fishing, swimming, and boating.

Thoughts like these and my memories of the lake were overshadowing my immediate pressures of feeling helpless, and I decided to lie down and gaze out into the starry moonlit sky until I dozed off.

The Course in Miracles asks us to answer this simple question: "Do I want the problem or do I want the answer?"

A catnap I would allow myself, hoping to rid the feeling of being trapped.

I entered into a dream that had only two characters, which were two different reflections of myself-- each with a different shape and size, as though seen through a carnival mirror.

The real me projected the feeling of being trapped as real and being thrown into a dungeon and sentenced to remain there for the rest of my life.

The dungeon was musty and dark, and the only time I saw anyone was once a day, when the other me, a massive unpleasant guard, opened the heavy steel door and placed a plate of food on the floor.

He then would shut the door and go away, intensifying the feeling of being trapped.

I made a decision to let go of the feeling of being trapped. When the guard opened the door I would attack him. I was better off dead than continuing with the feeling of being trapped forever in misery and darkness.

I reached over and braced myself against the door handle.

When I touched the door handle, something strange happened. The weight of my grip made the handle move, and the door cracked open.

I stepped forward and opened the door a little further.

The guard had a firm look on his face but stepped aside, as I, the prisoner, walked through the door and right out of the dark dungeon into the light.

There was nothing to it; that simply I was free of the feeling helplessly stuck and depressed.

To overcoming the feeling of being trapped!
