Developing Self-Inspiration

Image result for faith

We hate the thought of quitting when things go wrong in our lives. It makes us feel useless, powerless or impotent; we let our lives slip out of our hands: tired.

Life is tough and we find it difficult to make it easy. And for that we strive our very best to make ourselves feel better about our selves and life in general. We face many challenges in life, in occasion fail, or win: life is not easy for us.

But we are fighters in life. Life has taught us to be strong, to fight, and when everyone else has given up on us; we haven't given up on ourselves. We have become so strong in life because we have experienced in life how many left us, gave up on us, or couldn't believe in us. That is why we fight forward.

We have learned in our tough life to inspire our own selves because with the help of anyone else, who else is there to motivate us? No one but ourselves, we feel alone, but we're brave enough to grow, to believe in us, we have most of all the company of our own faith to take us on.

We learned through tough circumstances that have affected our lives made us believe life is not easy, but faith has made our lives bearable, motivate us to believe, to hold on and to strive on.

We might have periods in our lives where our thoughts are filled with doubt and giving up on ourselves! But, no we build our own selves up again, and again with self-inspiration. This is our fuel.

When we catch ourselves filled with fears of thoughts, failure and regressing in life, we remind ourselves about our faith. Faith has given us the certainty we need to keep going, to keep growing, to reach our personal destinations and overcome any challenge and bump life has given us. We do not and will never give up on us.

Our self-faith gives us the courage to fuel our thoughts when they need fire, it cleans our eyes when we see life hazy, and gives us valor when we need to change; for us faith gives us many things we are not.

Sometimes I question myself where does this inspiration come from? It's something, a thought, an energy, something difficult to articulate in our heads, but we understand it; most of all we feel it and know when it's coming. Inspiration is developed and felt from within.

Life has taught us to develop it from our failures, doubts, fears. As life gets tougher, and harder on us, we build a stronger way to overcome these obstacles. What has help us: inspiration lies within, sometimes found in other things or people. We grow it most of all internally.

You have felt it before; a sort of energy once you tap into it miraculous things happen in our lives. We feel happier, stronger, and our mood changes enough to not want to let it go. Hold on to inspiration as much as possible, because as it comes it goes.

I have learned that we build or develop this inspiration by the degree we trust ourselves in life. The stronger we believe and trust ourselves in our abilities, bodies, soul and mind the more it's availability is made.

Inspiration is self-trust: Self-faith.

Trusting my own abilities has given me more focus in life, it will do the same for you! Self-trust gives the self the ability to put it's thoughts into action. It begins to eliminate fear, doubt, un-reasonable demonized thoughts and gives the self the ability to tap into locked away sources. Inspiration is in the person all along we just need to uncover it by trusting our selves.

We start noticing how our thoughts began to change. We start taking action, and creating our thoughts into reality. Most of all we develop the belief that things will get better for us, and grow.

We have to believe in growth in order for inspiration to be given to you. We want to grow, and we will.

Self-trust in one's thoughts helps us uncover who we truly are. This inspires us to keep growing because we realize we are more powerful than we thought to believe. Inspiration transforms us into completely different persons.

As this new self starts growing in us, we become comfortable with our new selves, our true authentic self. As we get closer to that self, our trust becomes solid: stronger.

Trusting our thoughts is key. It helps us uncover a self we have hidden all this time that is more productive, positive and a better version of us. New thoughts must be born from within.

I would like to end with the following. Many of us get inspired in life by changing their thoughts, experiences etc...

However, the best thing we have in our lives is inspiration is born within, developed, learned and if you trust it; it will do wonders in your personal growth. And the only way to get there is by trusting your own thoughts completely.

Strive for the Mountain Top

Don't walk where everybody else walks, it's a reason it's called the beaten path. There will be many that will offer you their advice as to what is good for you. You separate the good information from the bad. The process is called discernment. I advise you to first listen to your self. Welcome change with open arms. Resistance to change will hinder your advancement. Nothing avoids change. Your values should never be compromised but enhanced. Your character should be of the utmost but open minded. Your conviction should be strong but also willing. Our perception of what life is about is based in our values our experiences and our ideology. Some will tell you accepting defeat in some situations is acceptable. You will live to fight another day is a very true and exacting statement. Though this statement is true I disagree with accepting defeat. Life is a learning process and every situation is an opportunity to improve upon that situation. When you settle for defeat that is exactly what you get. The substances of self consist of experiences, beliefs and situations. The substance is invaluable, significant and distinctive. How we manage those situations, events and circumstances is vital.

Your opportunities to succeed are larger than your opportunities to fail. The magnificent gift of life is a gift that is given only by one. The gift is the reason we all are here. There is no gift bigger than the gift of life. It is not to be wasted or unappreciated. When we strive to make the best of our selves we also strive to make the world better. The pursuit of a better life is measured by the road traveled not by arriving at destination. We will discover who we are by not conforming to others opinions of who we are but by conforming to the gifts given to us. The better we manage the lane given to us the wider the lane gets. The more we guard what we say, what we do and what we hear the sharper we become. The inner ear is a true source for knowledge. It will never tell you anything but what is good for you. We just have to be willing to listen. The more we listen the more we gain. The more we appreciate our selves the more we appreciate others. The drive to succeed has to be fueled from what's inside you. It will give you conviction a necessary building block needed to reach your pinnacle.

When transform instead of conforming, we allow the gifts of life to be utilized. When a gift comes upon and you and you are not ready for it, it will pass you by. Spiritual and fiscal responsibility prepare you for a gift that has already been bestowed upon you. To most, this statement is grammatically incorrect. It talks of the past tense giving to the future tense. It also describes faith. If you truly believe something, it will convict you. Conviction is a substance to build upon. When we truly embrace the gifts given to us, our perceptions of what matters will change. Your shortcoming will become opportunities. Once you realize who you are and what you are, the opportunities will become more abundant. Your gifts were set aside for you before you ever knew or realized who or what you are. Where there is cause there is effect. When you put forth the effort, there will be an effect. The effect is dependent on your effort. The effect of believing in your self raises your expectations that you have for your self. In order to get to the top, there has to be more than believing in your self.

Believing in self is good, but sometimes self can get in the way. You need to be guided by faith. Opportunities build character and endurance. With intellect, you can get through anything if applied correctly. Apply faith and it will produce. Allow your gifts to work for you and you will never fail.

Why Gratitude Works

I had to trudge from my bed to my desk, via the ministry of coffee, which doubles as my kitchen.

That's around 13 metres worth of effort. I checked.

Then I sat at my desk, in my chair, and opened up my laptop.

I started reading what was happening in the world of sport (not a lot). Then, while drinking my coffee and contemplating the meaning of not a lot:

BZZZZZZT!

WTF?! Why's someone ringing my door bell? I pretty sure I didn't approve that. Not on Monday. Not during the A.M. slot.

Amazon aren't due with any more one-click books that I'm aware of? Maybe I've forgotten? It happens.

Nope. Damned working person doing work. Needs to check alarms. The cheek. Disturbing me at work.

Back to my coffee.

Now I'm copying out a famous sales letter by hand. It's part of my training. My Hour Of Power. I do this most days to keep learning, keep sharp, develop a rhythm, and yeah, delay the real work for at least one hour. Then all of a sudden:

BZZZZZZT!

WT-actual-F?!

Who's this bothering me at work?

A delivery. Not for me. A man out at work was bringing me a parcel for another man out at work. Weird.

Back to my Monday morning. It's tough being me.

About this point you're probably thinking. Sheeesh. Luke. You've the patience of a saint. All those distractions. How ever do you stay so chipper?

And you'd be right. All those people out at work. Working. Doing stuff on other people's time. Annoying me at home while I'm drinking coffee, on my time.

But here's the shizzle. And it's good shizzle. So listen up:

You too can be this calm in face of such terrible adversity.

The secret is gratitude.

The first thing I do each day is write down what I'm grateful for.

And without exception, one of the things I am always grateful for is that I can earn a good living, working from home, on my time at my pace, on my terms.

And simple as it is, I see people forget that simple truth far too often and far too quickly.

It's no one's fault. It just happens.

You sweat bullets trying to get yourself in the position to work from home.

You ramp up your debt and blood-pressure trying to create your own business.

You lose friends just to get a shot at having your own time and space.

And eventually you get it. And it's good. For about a week.

Then your focus is on something else more money, more holidays, scaling..

It's always the next thing, and the next thing, and the next, and that's good. We need to grow.

But that's why your journal and your gratitude are so important.

They keep you humble, and keep you happy with what you have... even while you strive for more.

Rohn: We All Have 2 Choices in Life...

...to be all that we can be, or to be less.

Each of us has two distinct choices to make about what we will do with our lives.
The first choice we can make is to be less than we have the capacity to be. To earn less. To have less. To read less and think less. To try less and discipline ourselves less. These are the choices that lead to an empty life—the choices that, once made, lead to a life of constant apprehension instead of a life of wondrous anticipation.
And the second choice? To do it all! To become all that we can possibly be. To read every book that we possibly can. To earn as much as we possibly can. To give and share as much as we possibly can. To strive and produce and accomplish as much as we possibly can. All of us have the choice.
To do or not to do. To be or not to be. To be all or to be less or to be nothing at all.
Like the tree, it would be a worthy challenge for us all to stretch upward and outward to the full measure of our capabilities. Why not do all that we can, every moment that we can, the best that we can, for as long as we can?
Our ultimate life objective should be to create as much as our talent and ability and desire will permit—to settle for doing less than we could do is to fail in this worthiest of undertakings.
Results are the best measurement of human progress. Not conversation. Not explanation. Not justification. Results! And if our results are less than our potential suggests that they should be, then we must strive to become more today than we were the day before. The greatest rewards are always reserved for those who bring great value to themselves and the world around them as a result of whom and what they have become.
