Feeling Betrayed

Feeling betrayed by someone we believed to be a trusted friend is especially hurtful. It feels like we were taken advantage of, deceived, cheated, or stabbed in the back. That is why it is so painful because we would not expect to be hurt so badly by someone we thought we could trust.

Sometimes the person we thought we could trust and count on is no longer the person we believed them to be. Maybe our relationship changed and so did their loyalty to us. Maybe something in either or both of your lives has changed and they became insensitive to us.

There are many reasons that cause people to betray one another. More often they are deliberate and intended to hurt the other person but sometimes they are consequences of choices that are made with no intention of doing any harm to anyone. It can ruin many aspects of life such as trust, wounds, broken hearts and anger. The pain is long and lasting. That's why it is very difficult to mend a broken heart.

The pain of betrayal has a significant impact on the lives of all those who have experienced it which can also impact people's hearts and lives forever. If you have ever been betrayed, you cannot change what has happened to you or make the pain go away. You need time to grieve and feel angry.

Betrayal hurts and there is no easy way to heal it. Betrayal is probably the most devastating loss a person can experience. To be betrayed, the person must first experience trust in the betrayer. It is fairly impossible for you to be betrayed if you did not trust the individual in the first place. Therefore, the definition of betrayal involves the act of someone violating your trust in them.

In trusting another person, we believe that they won't hurt us; when they hurt us, that's the time when we realized that the other person has the capacity to hurt us. We have lost something very important in the relationship. Most often it is a loss that didn't have to occur. It only occurs because of someone's deliberately hurtful behavior, or their carelessness, or their own personal weakness.

Everyone faces betrayal at some point in life. However, the violation of our trust is at the root of betrayal. When we are betrayed by someone, it is likely that we will not easily trust them again. Trust is hard to gain but can be lost instantly.

Betrayal can be forgiven if and only if the person recognize the hurt they have caused and are trying to change the behavior. To want forgiveness the person has to see the behavior as wrong and not intend to engage in it any further.

How To Sustain Trust

As someone who has encountered many obstacles in life, I believe that even in the midst of adversity, I can still find a way to surpass them because I know that God has a reason why he allowed pains and struggles to happen. Just really, really believe in what you're trying to do. Don't let people alter that. Always trust your intuition. From there, you can make all your dreams and everything on the line.

Trust your gut. It is not simply a matter of truthfulness, or even constancy. It is also a matter of amity and goodwill. Trust is the glue of life. It's the most important ingredient in effective communication. It's the fundamental principle that holds all relationships.
Trust is a big word for me. Loyalty and trust, for me, are everything. It's a certain thing that gives you a sense of security. It's the biggest factor in everything I do.

Trust yourself. You have nobody to rely with in the first place but yourself. Aside from that, the most important lesson that I have acquired is to trust God no matter what circumstance you are in.God is always in control and he will never leave us. Most good relationships are built on mutual trust and respect. Besides, inability to communicate leads to problems, not everyone can be trusted.

Love is built on trust. We engage ourselves in meaningful relationships that we value.Trust precedes love. Judgment is clouded by love but illuminated by trust. We think that love can save us from emotional roller coasters. It is the glue to every gap and difference.

Building trust within a healthy relationship happens gradually. How do you know if you should trust someone? Building trust requires mutual commitment. You've probably heard the phrase, "That person is all talk." It generally means that someone's words and actions don't really correspond; they say one thing and do another.

When you love someone, you do not abuse them. They don't need their partner to prove their love and faithfulness. It's the lack of trust that makes those behaviors necessary. It is alright to be cautious because we all want to protect ourselves from getting hurt, but sometimes, people make rash judgments and stir arguments as a result, which only pushes the other person further away.

It is incredibly frustrating and causes unnecessary drama. Trust in a relationship is a must. It is something earned. There are situations where we still get deeply injured because of our flaws and failures as humans. It is also an opportunity to get to know ourselves in a way we might not have otherwise known because we have the ability to open up and explore who we really are.

People get caught up in keeping their secrets safe, and before they know it, they are in "too deep." Most spouses will not only forgive, but they will help you work through your situation or struggles if you let him or her in on it. Don't block yourself in with shame.

Use wisdom and avoid potentially hazardous situations because trust is a must in relationships.

This article talks about the word trust, its worth and value to human beings. How to sustain trust despite some trials in life.

11 Traits of Extremely Effective Salespeople

No business succeeds without great sales. Here's how great salespeople make it happen.

No business can survive without sales. As much as the tech industry would like to replace salespeople with algorithms, most companies still require the human touch to prospect, cultivate, and ultimately close the deal.
The best salespeople make it seem easy. They have a relaxed and natural way of guiding a prospect through the sales process. These people can take a basic business and make it grow in spectacular fashion. There is a reason the best of them command high dollars. In fact, here are 11 such reasons:

1. They can farm and hunt.

Too many salespeople can only hunt or farm. The hunters often eat what they kill and then starve if there is no game to chase. The farmers bring stability by cultivating relationships, but when the market shifts, they struggle to find new business. The few salespeople who can do both consistently close, regardless of market conditions.

2. They think selling on price is a last resort.

A price cut may stimulate a quick boost in sales, but it rarely lasts for long or builds brand loyalty. Smart salespeople make sure customers know they are paying for value that can always be delivered.

3. They understand the long-term value of a customer.

Great care paid to the right customer can pay off exponentially through repeat and referral business. A great salesperson will push and squeeze what they can out of a deal, but never at the expense of the future business. He or she will figure out how to keep all sides in positive territory.

4. They know when to shut up.

Inexperienced salespeople think they can win sales by over-talking the prospects. The best salespeople use discretion and carefully crafted questions to get a prospect to close. Once they have delivered the pitch, they know to step back and let the prospect finish the job.

5. They know how to make the support staff love them.

Successful sales require a lot of work, and doing it alone can slow you down. The best salespeople make sure their staff are happy and feel like a valued part of the team. A great sales team can close five times the business of a solo maverick.

6. They never think they know enough about anything.

So many salespeople like to learn just enough, but they get tripped up with the more difficult customers. Great salespeople are always studying to get an edge over their competitors.

7. They focus on efficiency.

Sales are all about numbers. The more qualified prospects you reach, the higher the probability of closings. Great salespeople use technology and organization to increase their at bats, and rarely waste time talking to people who will never buy.

8. They think selling is fun.

Most salespeople actually hate sales and selling. The most effective salespeople actually enjoy it. They get up every day excited about the product and the prospects. For these few, the high compensation is an added bonus on top of getting to do what they love.

9. They have a rich life.

Customers can tell when the only focus a salesperson has is the sale. The motivation is thin. Great salespeople bring the richness of life experience, which they willingly share through stories and empathy. Prospects can sense their authenticity and self-confidence.

10. They motivate themselves.

Companies spend a ton of money on sales managers who mostly focus on whip-cracking the bottom performers. Great salespeople don't need added incentives or pressure to make or beat their goals. They set their targets and go, go, go.

11. They understand the repercussions of poor ethics.

You never have to explain to a truly professional salesperson that no one deal is worth spoiling your reputation, paying a fine, or going to jail.
