To Prepare Yourself For A Better Tomorrow, Do All You Can To Be Your Best Today

The Aggregation Of Small Habits Leads To Greatness

Do you realise your best is yet to come? How do you feel when you read that statement? Do you think: "My best is behind me"? But what if you don't know what you're capable of unless you continue to move forward towards your goals and dreams? Let me give you an example. When Michael Jordan failed making his high school basketball team, do you think his career was over? Perhaps he thought so at the time because not making the team might have seemed like the end of the road for him, but it wasn't. It was the beginning of his career as one of the greatest basketballers of all time. Why? Jordan loved to play basketball and spent hours practicing and fine tuning his skills. The setbacks and defeats he experienced were part of the process to achieve greatness. They were inflection points in his career and why your best is yet to come, as long as you continue moving towards your goals. Warning: you must believe your best is still to come and keep taking the right course of action.

Your best will come from your habits, practice, growth, setbacks, victories and knowledge gained over the years. To prepare for a better tomorrow, we must commit to the tasks of today that lay the foundation for tomorrow. Nothing good can come of delaying that which we must attend to now. Whilst many of our daily tasks or habits can be tedious and time-consuming, with the right mindset they will transform our efforts into achievement. We must do our best whatever that looks like, knowing the aggregation of small habits leads to greatness. This is the essence of what motivational author and speaker Brendon Burchard refers to in High Performance Habits: How Extraordinary People Become That Way where he writes: "Being on your A game means that you are giving your best effort with full focus on the singular task at hand. To get it, you need to stoke the internal and external demands of necessity. Specifically, you assume the identity of a high performer and you set up situations that require full immersion." How does this idea appeal to you? Is this something you're prepared to invest in or are you already taking inspired action in your life? Whatever the case, investing in ourselves means committing to that which makes our hopes and dreams come alive.

Focus On Priorities That Make You Come Alive

We are the vessel upon which our tomorrow is created or conversely, one in which we will live with regret. Either way, regret is nothing more than ineffective action because we have squandered our time on things that don't matter. To be your best today, requires bringing your whole self to every situation. What do I mean by whole self? I mean the entirety of your being, including your mind, body and spirit. The person who brings their whole self to their task is inspired by a greater purpose for their life. A person who brings their whole self to their undertakings unites with their deeper intent, so each action is purposefully guided and emanates from passion and direct intention. We are the habits of our yesterdays and the victors of our tomorrows. What we plant in our mind and sow into our hearts becomes the seeds of greatness tomorrow.

So what are you committed to? What actions are delivering you tangible results? We must be clear whether our labour compels us to move forward or keeps us stationary. Stagnancy is a misdirected purpose in the form of resistance because we are frightened by the success of tomorrow. Yet, this is the purpose of daily actions and habits: to sharpen the saw as the late Dr. Stephen Covey wrote in his book The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People. It is the opportunity to refine, review and reward ourselves for actions we undertake that bring our hopes and dreams alive.

Nothing good can come of setting aside that which can be completed now because what we put off for tomorrow compounds and soon enough we face yet another fear. Our task is to minimise fear from our lives, so we can focus on our highest objectives through purposeful action. We ought to pursue things that make us come alive, not make us feel weary and uninspired. We must do away with commitments and obligations that hinder our progress or better still, delegate them to others so we can focus on that which makes us come alive. We must bring forth the song within our heart because this is the song that touches those whom associate with our work. So I ask you: what are you putting off today that may inhibit your tomorrow? Can you commit to the smallest task, even when you feel less inclined to? Without doubt, if we are inspired by some greater purpose, then the smaller tasks will fuel our actions because a better tomorrow is possible when we commit to be our best today.

Big Things Have Small Beginnings

This is a quotation from the book and film titled "Lawrence of Arabia." If you have not seen that film, I suggest that you watch it, and pay close attention to an array of characters whose lives sing. Mostly, the story is true. It seems that while the vast majority of people stumble through their lives and merely react to what happens to them, ever so often, a world-shaper comes onto the scene.

The thing about T. E. Lawrence is that he recognized at an early age, his ability to cause monumental change. In fact, read about him before you watch the film. See how a person of privilege, who seemed to be mediocre at best, identified the world that he would change, studied it, and prepared to enter it before an opportunity came that would allow him to plan how to do it. This is such out-of-bounds thinking from the rest of us. The rest of us, being those who are not the stumblers, are achievers of something, but probably something petty, something that enriches only us. Yet, it is rare to find such a capable person as Lawrence, who might achieve greatness for himself, yet he chose to help a people be great, and not the people with whom he was affiliated. In fact, British army generals and British politicians were convinced that he had done extraordinary things for Britain when he did them, but that was not true. He did extraordinary things in order to enable Arab people to reclaim independence that they once had.

Today, much emphasis is placed on technology, but what is technology without a human being to wield it? What was Lawrence's small beginning? He rode alone into the desert on a camel to meet with a local tribal leader. If he could not impress the Arab, he would be killed. He hired an Arab guide, and straight away, he listened to the guide, and he counseled him like a father might counsel a son. The two of them played a game during their journey, each trying to be the most moral. When Lawrence understood that his Arab guide greatly appreciated personal arms, he gave him his pistol, his only personal protection. Already, he reasoned that he was not going to accomplish anything worthwhile through personal combat, so he did not need the pistol. Instead, he would do great things through personal example.

From a beginning of no consequence, Lawrence created a consequence when he stood up to the Arab leader just after the leader killed the guide because he drank water from the leader's tribal well. At the risk of his own life, at the risk of any greatness that he might have done, Lawrence berated the leader for placing so much value on his tribal trappings and so little value on the life of a brother Arab. That was the small, but risky beginning of a great thing.

If you are going to do something big with your life, you must be all in. No one can find a flaw if you are true and transparent. Other people follow those who behave that way. They follow the sort of people who give meaning to everyone's life. The key to accomplishing something great is to be a true leader, and to plan and prepare to lead. That is how you and everyone else who follows you will do something greater than yourselves.

Message From the Universe: The Power of Make Believe

"I do believe that if people would just start by saying "it's fun," when it seems hard; "I'm happy," when they seem sad; and "I know," when it seems they don't... they'd finally discover that it really is, they really are, and they always have.

Works for me,

The Universe"

The same goes with the famous phrase: "Fake it till you make it". By constantly reiterating your future success even though it feels like it will never happen, you need to make others believe that your vision is there and it won't budge for anyone or anything. The majority of people want to see others fail to feel better about their existing situation. Because they do not have the motivation to move forward, the drive to succeed, the desire to achieve greatness, they prefer that others follow the same path. They are scare to be left behind while others are living the life that most of us would die for. Make them feel that you are already on your path to greatness and NOTHING will stop you. They know they are incapable of doing anything for themselves, so the only thing they will try to do is make you feel that your goals are IMPOSSIBLE to achieve. Hope you won't let this happen.

Everything is about a personal feeling about how you perceive yourself and how much you want to succeed. It all starts with a thought, then goes the belief, and then of course the feeling it already happened, and finally ends with affirmative action. All of these four components are crucial for your thoughts to become things, and by believing in the Laws of Attraction, it is imperative to include all of those if you want to experience greatness. Just like quantum entanglement, all subatomic particles in space are somewhat connected and behave similarly to each other even though separated by thousand of light years. These 4 components means nothing by themselves, but together can make miracle happens. When you focus on achieving the impossible, always remember that you are possible and all can be done with just a bit of belief, feeling and imminently, action.

Ways to Improve Quality of Life - Improve Your Life With Long-Term Changes

Man Wearing Black Zip-up Jacket Near Beach Smiling at the Photo

There are qualities that we need to address to improve quality life. We all have these to some degree and must be cognizant of them so they do not take control of our life.

Fears change?

I have listed 4 qualities that we need to change. Once we will learn how to overcome these, surely we will obtain what we desire in life.

Enjoys Seeing Others Fail - There are individuals out there who enjoy seeing others fail. Some of them hide it well but instead of congratulating a person when they attain some form of success this individual deep down inside wishes that successful person falls flat on their face.

These feelings could stem from the individual having a narcissistic personality or some deep-rooted psychological problem. A successful person likes to see others achieve greatness as well, the more people who succeed the greater the wealth for everyone. This "evil eye" mentality may come back to haunt the person who enjoys seeing others fail.

In business and life if you help people they will help you at some point in time but if you kick a person when they are down you may find yourself in a similar predicament in the future so try to help individuals whenever possible. If you feel this way then seek out professional help, having this condition is not a character flaw but failing to get it treated is a sign of selfishness.

Irritable And Angry Most Of The Time - Everyone has a bad day here and there but if a person is constantly irritable that other people avoid them then that is a sign this particular individual is either in the wrong position or is dealing with internal challenges.

The reason a person gets angry is they feel like they are overwhelmed and out of control otherwise they wouldn't be angry. Unless the individual in question is suffering from withdrawal due to a drug addiction i.e. smoking cigarettes there is no reason for them to be irritable all the time.

This negativity can be toxic for your company, nobody wants to go near an individual who is constantly negative so if this sounds like you it may be time to look at your workload and maybe adopt some stress management exercises to keep the angst in check. We all get angry from time to time but it is how we deal with it that makes all the difference in the world.

Will Find Excuses And Blame Others For Failure - No one wants to fail, but we only fail if we stop trying. Whenever something happens that seems to be negative an individual with the wrong mindset will look for excuses why a particular project did not go according to plan.

Some of the excuses are "not enough time" "not enough money" "someone else dropped the ball" all of these excuses are nothing more than lies, the project did not go according to plan which does happen to the best of companies.

A successful person would say "you know what, this is what we did right and can implement and this is what didn't go according to plan and we can avoid in the future". By making you accountable to yourself and those around you will exude confidence and people respect that, no one likes a whiner and if a person constantly makes excuses they are essentially that a "whiner".

Does Not Set Goals - If you do not set goals in life how will you measure results? Not trying to be rude but if you do the same things day in and day out without willing to make goals and measure them then what is the point of living?

Please don't take this the wrong way but if you had a job and you went to work every day but did absolutely nothing your boss would fire you. You are the boss of your own life so if you are not doing anything to make your life better what kind of message are you making about yourself as a person?

I know you are scared, we have all been there but you only have one life to live so why not try something different, positive and see where it takes you, who knows where you will be but one thing we know is what you are doing now does not produce results so take the first step and try something new.

Erase these negative mindsets and embrace new things to improve your life with long-term changes. You do it for the better.

Message From the Universe: Where Being Successful Is Just Another Way of Life

"Why is it that so often those who are extremely successful in virtually everything they do are so unable to see that this is the case?

Yeah, you might not be the right person to ask.

I love dragonflies,
The Universe"

Go to any entrepreneur and ask them how they reached ultimate success and they will answer with: "I worked very hard, never stopped, had a clear vision to what I wanted in life and went for it no matter what". However, if they had to explain their journey to success in a detailed manner and how they perceive their new life, they would answer you with a shrug, like it is inevitable that I would succeed. Because of the amount of hard work they put in day after day and how persistent they are to achieve greatness, they forget their difficult journey and feel like all the sacrifice they made is forgotten, as it is something in the past and to never be remembered. Suddenly, the struggles and hurdles they face no longer seem to be a part of who they are, like it is something that was inevitable to achieve success. Now, as the good times are settling in, they are finally able to enjoy their hard work and appreciate them even more. It is only through major challenges and hurdles in life that you appreciate the good times and never feel entitled to anything.

For some, wealth do not change who they are or were when they were starting through their journey of challenges and difficulties. They are still humble and do not let wealth of abundance change them in any way. They are still the same person they were in the beginning, living a normal life, without purchasing things they don't need. Just like Warren Buffet who lived in the same home in Omaha for decades and driving a regular car, or Zuckerburg still renting his home and driving his VW to work, fortune and glory is just a step towards them feeling a sense of accomplishment in their lives without the need to flaunt it as there is no reason to do so. As the world already know their worth, the desire to show what you can get but DON'T get it shows a sense of the quality of the person. It is OK to live and take advantage of what life has to give, but needing to have a 10 car garage is not essential to your happiness. Your success is because you made it happen, and working towards accomplishing greatness was based on your desire to be different, unique and thinking outside the box. This is something to be proud of.

The World Can Be Changed With a Little Inspiration

Humans are naturally flawed; it is what separates us from God. We face numerous difficulties in our daily lives and find it tough to rise from our dire situations to achieve greatness. After a point we become complacent in our lives and work hard to just maintain it. We would only need a small push to do better than we think we can because we have the potential but we only need to step out of our comfort zone for it. So how do we step out?

When someone achieves something seemingly impossible it makes us believe, even if only for a brief moment that we can do something similar. After all, they are as human as us. It is true that their situation and background must be very different from yours but that in no way means that you can't do your best too.

Let me share a story with you, one that always inspires me to keep pushing further.

An 18-year-old boy was diagnosed with a cancer of the bone in his right leg. After many months of treatment and operations, his leg had to be amputated to save his life. He could have chosen to lie in bed or sit on a wheelchair all his life. He could have learned some small trade and lived an insignificant life because it was justified by his cancer. He could have let the cancer beat him even after the doctors extracted it all from his body. But he didn't. He didn't just sit down and complain about life or cry to God or tried doing little things in life to just exist. He trained 14 months on a new leg. He got up every day and went for walks so his body could be trained into believing that nothing had changed too much. And this was only possible because he made a decision and had the determination to stick with it. His next step was to run from east to west, across the country of Canada to make people aware about cancer and do something about it. He wanted to save lives. And it is important that we notice how his wish wasn't dependent on anyone else fulfilling it for him, he didn't ask anyone to run in his name but he got up and did it himself. On April 12, 1980 he started his 'marathon of hope' as people called it, from the easternmost point of Canada. He woke up at 4am and ran 26 miles every day, which is the length of an average marathon. It didn't matter if it rained or snowed, if the sun was shining on his head, he kept running. On his journey across the country he inspired millions. And he does so even today. His name is Terry Fox.

So if an 18-year-old boy can achieve something so difficult for him under the situation he was put; if he can stay as hopeful and determined as he did, so can we. Terry Fox has been and will continue to be an inspiration for everyone across the globe because we can all achieve the impossible, we only need to inspire and be inspired every now and then.

Stay Focused And On Purpose

The best way to survive and thrive is to stay focused, and disciplined. With that simple sentence, I begin this article. When we lose focus or "space out" or whatever, nothing genuinely works. We need focus. Focus is the key to control, all sorts of genuine power, and seizing a great destiny.

When I think about and act rationally on the subject of focus, the last sentence in that last section comes to mind, especially seizing a great destiny. I mean, really think about that fact for a moment. Reality comes down to those who think and act right, and those who do not. But, the key to it all is genuine, powerful, pinpointing focus. Sure, discipline is important, but focus is the key to discipline, like a magnifying glass full of the rays of the sun shining through it and making a fire without a match.

Without focus, you can light a room, but not have enough focused light to light a fire. This is a metaphor, of course, that says reality starts with a focused purpose, and after that purpose is focused, it must be seen through to its fulfillment, I will not say end. Because life and existence are endless realities controlled by focused purpose and fulfillment. But, the essence of what I am writing is that life is nothing without focused, disciplined purposes, and control of yourself and your reality. This can be used positively or negatively, of course. It could be used by the alcoholic to get the next drink at any cost, or the drug addict to get the next high at any cost, or it could be used to achieve greatness. It is all our choice. It all comes down to a focused purpose and discipline. Also, I would just like to say here that when it comes to the good, positive and great goals: Genuine quitting time is for losers, for if there is a problem there is ultimately an answer to it. Everything has an ultimate solution that can be found and solved. In fact a goal is something that needs to be achieved as a solution to something that needs to be fulfilled. In essence, a goal is a "problem that needs to be solved", otherwise it would not need to be achieved.

So, think about this final fact, we really do have all the achievement power we decide to have as long as we know that if there is a problem or a goal, there is a solution or an achievement.

10 Powerful Affirmations That Can Change Your Life

If you believe that you are what you feel, then life truly stems from your thoughts and emotions. Affirmations or the process of repeating positive words can boost your spirit to new levels. We must translate our thoughts into words and eventually into intention in order to manifest what we want in our reality. Affirmations are proven methods of self-improvement because of their ability to rewire our brains and have the power to change people’s lives. Science also says that positive self-talk definitely brings about changes in the brain. Here are 10 powerful affirmations that can change your life.
1) I can achieve greatness
One of the most influential ones is to tell yourself on a daily basis that you can achieve all the greatness in life. Focus on your vision and dreams and then attach the emotion to that vision. By telling this to yourself and believing that you can achieve greatness, it will eventually turn into reality.
2) Today, I am brimming with energy and overflowing with joyJoy starts from within not from outside of yourself. It also starts as soon as you rise. So make it a habit to repeat this to yourself first thing in the morning.

3) I love and accept myself for who I am

Self love is meant to be the purest and the highest form of love. When you love yourself, you automatically start appreciating and respecting yourself. If you have confidence and pride in what you do, you will begin to see yourself in a new light and be encouraged and inspired to do bigger and better things.

4) My body is healthy; my mind is brilliant; my soul is tranquil
A healthy body starts with a healthy mind and soul. If either suffers from negative emotions, the others will be affected. The number one cause of health or disease is you. You can also remove and revoke all permission that you have given consciously, subconsciously, to all the ills of the world because you share that pain. You are conquering your illness and defeating it steadily each day.
5) I believe I can do everything
You need to say this to yourself every day. Because this is something that is so important for counselling yourself to stay encouraged. By saying this, you are able to do anything and everything that you put your mind to.
6) Everything that is happening now is happening for my ultimate good
There are no victims, no accidents and no coincidences EVER. They simply do not exist in this reality as you and others will only attract what you and they are a part of. So know from the bottom of your heart that everything happens for a reason and in perfect synchronicity. You are at peace with all that has happened, is happening, and will happen. Your fears of tomorrow are simply melting away.
7) I am the architect of my life; I build its foundation and choose its contents
This is something that you should tell yourself when you wake up every morning. Every new day offers a fresh start and also makes an impact on others around you. You can make anything of that day that you like because you are the architect of your own life. If you begin your day with a positive thought and feeling it will transform your day into something incredible. Works every time.
8) I forgive those who have harmed me in my past and peacefully detach from them
That doesn't mean you forget what they did, but you are at peace with what they did and the lessons served. Your strength to forgive is what allows you to move forward and your reaction to any experience is independent of what others think of you. You can forgive one thousand people and even if none of them forgive you, there will always be a sense of peace and freedom within you that they will never have until they share that sentiment. Your power to forgive them also instantly changes how they react to you.
9) My ability to conquer my challenges is limitless; my potential to succeed is infinitePlain and simple, you have no limits but those you place on yourself. What kind of life do you want? What is stopping you? What barriers are you imposing on yourself? This affirmation will help you address all of the boundaries.

10) Today, I abandon my old habits and take up new, more positive onesRealize that any difficult times are only a short phase of life. This too shall pass along with your old habits as you take in the new. You are a fully adapting being with creative energy which surges through you and leads you to new and brilliant ideas and the mindset that allows that energy to flow.
