How Does Positivism Affect Our Lives?

Woman Doing Split

For me at the beginning it was impossible. I realized that 95% of the day I am angry, sad, mad at life and full of negative thoughts.

Secondly I realized how irritation it is every single minute to try to switch. I gave up multiple times until one day I decided to be patient, persistent and really try. It took me two months to reduce the negativity from 95% to 75% and I realized the benefits of being positive. See, there is much more happening in our body, not only our mind, if we keep up with the high (happy) vibration.

So here are some facts that really shocking but in a good way.

Stress and how we better cope with it

Thinking positive thoughts is not always an easy thing and stressful situations will arise no matter how much you try to stay away from them. When you are a positive think, you can cope with these stress factors much better and more effectively compared to the pessimists. While pessimists tend to take problems as something that they cannot change, optimists will more likely come up with an action plan and call for advice and assistance from others for the issue to be resolved.

What I do when I am stressed out? I breathe deeply. I relax and let my brain soak deep into the situation happening at that very same moment. Have you ever regret the things you said or did when you were angry and stressed out? I did? That is why when you step back, sit and wait your brain calms and you feel confident and "sober" again. After anxiety is gone you can think straight and never regret the outcome. After all situations like this makes us stronger.

Strengthen your immune system with optimism

It has been recently discovered that a person's mind can have a powerful impact on one's body. If there is one area which can be greatly influenced by your attitudes and thoughts, that would be your immunity. Based on one study, when negative emotions are activated in the brain, a person's immune response to flu vaccine tends to be weaker. It was discovered that people who are positive about a crucial and particular area of their lives, like how they perform at work, showed a much stronger immune response as compared to the ones who nurse negative thoughts regarding the situation.

A positive mind will not just improve your immunity and ability of coping with stress. At the same time, this will affect your entire well-being. Experts associated several health benefits with optimism, which include less depression, reduced chances of death caused by cardiovascular issues and increased lifespan. Even though it is still unclear how positive thinking can benefit the health of a person, some say that people who nurse positive thoughts are the ones who follow a healthier lifestyle. As they cope better with stress and avoid unhealthy behaviors, they also improve their well being and health.

So, be positive, be healthy, it is that simple.

Flexibility

Being flexible means having the ability of coping with problems in different situations. Flexible people are the ones who can face a trauma or crisis with better resolve and strength.

They do not fall apart when stress comes their way and instead, they carry on, eventually overcoming the adversity. It is no longer surprising that flexibility is greatly affected by positive thinking. As mentioned earlier, optimists look for ways on how to fix an issue when faced with a challenge.

They do not give up hope and instead, they marshal the available resources and never have any qualms of asking for others' help.

Sticking to a positive mindset is very important, because with positive thoughts you will be able to create the path that you want. You won't be afraid of stepping out of your comfort zone and taking risks. You won't be imprison with thoughts of the past or worries about the future. And most of all, you will have faith in yourself. Because you are one talented, incredible, one of a kind human being. You are capable of everything you wish for.

3 Major Reasons Why People Give Up On The Law of Attraction

You may see this throughout the online world. People are throwing in the towel in regards to the Law of Attraction. There are always going to be negative people in life, and with the internet, many of them have posted things online. When you research this concept, and start to learn about how you can improve your life, you may be tempted to fall into the negative side of things. Skeptics are going to always push you in the wrong direction, and that's not a good thing. There are many major reasons why people stop pursuing attraction. The following illustrates just a few of them.

It's Easier To Be Negative

Folding one's hands, and just scoffing at the future is easier. Cynics are born every day, and the more skeptical people are, the more negative things can become. It's easy to join this side because it is just a lot easier to band together with those that aren't seeing anything good manifest in life. You could turn on the television and see a lot of bad news and dwell on that. You could join the millions that are anxious, mad at life, and just don't want to get anywhere. That will lead to more negativity and issues than if you were to chase the opposite direction.

People Assume Bad Things Will Always Happen

Ask someone about why they are unhappy with their job, life, spouse, and more. They'll have reasons and they'll most likely just fold their arms. They just assume that things are always going to be bad, so they are happy with the status quo. This is not a good thing. The status quo is not going to help you grow or feel better about your life. Furthermore, if you have children, they are going to manifest the same disdain that you may have for things, and the cycle of negative momentum will continue through the years. It's not a good thing. People give up on attraction because they assume that bad things will always happen, and that's not true.

Riches Don't Manifest Fast

People assume that by adhering to the principles found in the Law of Attraction, that they will win the lottery. This is not a good luck charm. When you look at this like a fortune telling machine, or something that is going to pay you dividends for just being positive, you will lose sight of the bigger picture. While you may be more prosperous, it will not occur overnight, or by gambling. You'll have to put in some work in order to get more in terms of riches. There's no shortcuts to being positive, you have to remember that.

At the end of the day, it's easy to give up on being positive in life. Millions of people do that. However, those that don't give up, those that continue to find silver linings in their lives, are happier, see more positivity manifest, and enjoy life as a whole. Try this out, and see how far you can go with the many benefits of attraction overall.

Law of Attraction - Believe it or Not, it Leads to A Positive Mental State

Image result for joy

In a post "The Secret" age, most people are aware of the "New Age" idea of the law of attraction. The mere act of changing your thoughts that can in no time change your life and take you from a dismal job to your dream job paying 3X more than anyone else. But, is it legitimate?

One logical aspect of implementing a mindset in the way of acknowledging the law of attraction is that it is a conscious effort to change mentally your thinking and change the ruminating thoughts that fill our minds perpetually.

Whether that be the idea of, "I wish I could get a raise," to acknowledging that thought, but then immediately changing it to, "I am so thankful I got that raise!" It is a conscious effort to recognize our thoughts and monitor them and when thoughts are in a negative light doing an 180-degree turn with them and change the entire concept.

The idea of the "Law of Attraction" and that by changing our pure thoughts in the depth of our minds it suddenly lets off electronic waves that perpetuate into the universe all around us and changes the course of events is still up for debate. But one thing is for sure, and that is the case that there is a self-check aspect that is healthy mentally in keeping yourself on the up-and-up.

Indeed, instead of praying a prayer similar to, "Dear God, please take away these bills," which books such as The Secret explains the Universe does not hear the words "take away." Instead, make the primary words of, "God - Please - Bills," causing no change to happen. Instead, it would be a prayer such as, "God, Thank you for letting me end those financial worries!" It is all positive.

Whether it truly does make a difference, there is one factor that does, and that is that you change your mental thoughts and are so conscious of them they do not get going on their spiraling into a worry instead of being positive. It begins a practice of being mentally aware of the thoughts you consciously and subconsciously know. And that method has been scientifically proven to have an impact on your life and mental health.

Following are three great exercises to begin working on your mental processes in the coming days.

1 -- I am...

"I am blessed and excited to have paid that last bill!" And many things could be slipped in that place to get the same effect. And instead of a perpetual way of praying such as, "Please help... " and "If you can... " and instead becomes a declaration that also boosts your mental moral. It causes you to be more positive and have a feeling of accomplishment than direr and needing with an overarching underlying thought of need, begging, and pleading. It is instead declaring with confidence that it has already happened.

2 -- Pre-Conclusion Thanks

"Thank you for... " is a simple three words that would be followed by a need you need help make happen. Instead of focusing on the tiring act of begging, instead, you are already praying like it has happened. Do not feel like this is being pushy with God or your higher power. No, it is only moving a mentality to a much more active place. And, it lets God know that you fully trust in him and are already declaring that he will do what is in your best interest.

3 -- Dream Board

One aspect of the law of Attraction is the importance of visual stimuli and reminders. In multiple writings and books on the topic no matter who the author or contributors are they have a consensus of the idea of a "Dream Board." The bigger, the better and begin finding your dreams and putting them on the board. Not with the mentality that, "At least I can see what I know I can't afford." No, not in the least. Instead, it is viewed as a look into the future. Watching the house you think, "I cannot believe I own such an amazing residence!" Or of a vehicle, "I am so blessed to be able to have this vehicle with room to help the neighbors get the kids to and from school and soccer practice!"

It isn't a board to look at and get a "Woe is me" attitude. It is there to be a reminder that, "Oh, don't forget that this is right around the corner, just as soon as the universal energies matches up to bring your ideas hurtling to you!"

You could be a huge believer in the law of attraction or someone who thinks it is a bunch of woo-woo stuff. Either way, here is the reality.

By practicing these ways of mentally thinking, the worry is all but eradicated, and a focus on joy and gratitude persist in your everyday life that scientifically is proven to boost moral no matter what!

Life Lessons - The Secret of Positive Perception

Emotional Intelligence, Overcoming, Personal Growth

For many years I went through tough times and I became driven to find out why these things were happening to me. This became one of my life's greatest challenges. I was so stuck in a victim mindset of why me, that I almost missed out on life's greatest lessons and tests that were being presented before me. Little did I know, that I was in preparation for my advancement. At that time it felt like I was living in hell. The perception I had of my experience then was not great, I was more focused in the negative, full of fear and looking for someone or something to blame and take responsibility.

Then one day I discovered that I was not the only one going through tough times, there were many others going through tough experiences too. Even though their experiences were a bit different to mine, they were still being challenged to the core, so this gave me comfort knowing that the tough journey was not just for me. Due to this understanding I began to give myself permission to come out of the victim mindset that had me in a mental prison for many years. You see all of us have to go through some tough times at different periods of our lives and nobody really knows why we need to have these experiences. This then causes us to ask ourselves what we can do about it? Most people get stuck here, because of this question. You tell yourself that you don't know what to do which basically is a recipe for mental bondage that then leads to the victim mindset.

What you choose to do here will define the path that you will follow. Lets take an example. Have you ever felt like you were a victim of any circumstance? What follows that mindset is a spiralling down into negative emotions you will start to feel helpless, hopelessness and pretty quickly you are down in the dumps? This is very common to most of us, we have areas were we are adamant that it's beyond our understanding, so it's easier for us to make the assumption that it's somebody's fault, so when you start to think like this it makes you lose your power over what's happening. Once you get in that state of mind or belief it's very hard to come out of it, you will need something much more powerful than that state of mind for you to be free.

At this point many are asleep, so they need to wake up from their slumber. When you wake up something changes, you become aware of how you have been playing small and have become a victim. Once you are aware of this you open a door for your perception to change. The journey of being positive starts here and this experience is what I call a shift into a new way of thinking. This transitioning time of transformation is usually slow but well worth the wait.

We all know that transitioning is usually a challenging time as you are working on letting go of the old so that the new can set in. Most of us find change very difficult to deal with as by nature we often fight against any change, because we prefer to sit and dwell in the things that we are familiar with which is otherwise called the comfort zone. In the comfort zone most of us dwell there for very long periods, what we don't realise is that change is going to happen anyway whether we accept it or fight it. So it is usually good to go with the flow instead of resisting and fighting. For you to accept the change and be in flow with it you need to have a positive perception of the circumstances that you are going through.

The most challenging question that many people ask is how to stay positive? Generally we are creatures of habit we find just changing one thing out of our usual pattern rather painful but it is consistence, endurance, persistence, perseverance and patience that usually brings the greatest results.

Being Positive Means More Than Just WISHING!

Nearly everyone realizes how important it is, to maintain a quality, consistently positive attitude! The reality is you can't become the best you can be, until and unless, you seek the best way to perform, and focus on how you can, rather than why you can't! In my over three decades of involvement in leadership training, and personal development/ self - help, I have trained thousands to not only think positively, but to also arm themselves with the tools, to be ready, willing and able, to achieve, when others fail! Maintaining a genuine, positive attitude, means not only hoping and WISHING, but proceeding in a positive way, in everything you do, and focus on!

1. Wisdom, 5 W's: Just using rhetoric which sounds positive, is far different from truly maintaining that type of attitude! When it is accompanied with a commitment to achieving and performing, and one seeks knowledge and relevant wisdom, he propels himself to maximum greatness! Great leaders understand this, yet most of us, in our everyday lives, seem to permit our fears and insecurities overwhelm our positivity and forward - thinking! To do so, we must get into the habit of asking the right questions, including: who, what, why, where and when! Who will we trust and rely on, what are our real goals, why do we do what we do, where to start, and when will be proactively proceed?

2. Ideas - oriented; interesting: What are you really interested in, and why? Would others find you, and your ideas, interesting and worthwhile? How do you come up with your central ideas, and are you propelled and focused on concepts and ideas, or do you proceed by using, merely empty rhetoric, silliness, and popularity (or lack of stress, etc)?

3. Strategic; sustainable system: Just as in leadership, each of us must strategically plan, our personal goals and priorities. Are you goals - oriented, and do you look at the larger, more sustainable, future, or do you merely proceed day - to - day, constantly applying band - aids, rather than seeking solutions. Do you look to how to become your personal best, and believe you can, or do you just do whatever is easiest, least challenging, and settle for being mediocre?

4. Head/ heart; hear; heal: Being genuinely positive, does not mean being pie - in - the - sky, unrealistic, or a dreamer! Balance your logical and emotional components, listen effectively, and proactively heal wounds, both your own, as well as others, so you can become stronger and more effective!

5. Ideology; integrity: Do you believe the ideology you articulate? Can you maintain your absolute integrity, regardless of controversy, or ease/ comfort level, when others abandon (or never attempt) theirs?

6. Needs - centric: Have you identified what makes you happiest, and what your core needs, concerns and priorities, are?

7. Generate goodwill; get results; greatness: Do you inspire others by the level of your existence? Can you get desirable results, and do you consistently focus on greatness and quality?

You can try to, but you can't really fake being positive! Begin by realizing it takes far more than mere, WISHFUL thinking!

Too Afraid that You’ll Actually Succeed?

Are you wasting your manifesting energy?
Seriously. Are you visualizing, affirming, focusing, being positive and ecstatic without really planing to act upon it when your manifestation comes to you? If you’re saying: “No, good heavens no, I’ll jump on it as soon as it comes!” – are you completely sure?

Let’s Check

This will only take a moment. Let’s imagine a few situations:

Situation One: Manifesting a Successful Career

A man wants to move up the corporate ladder and to become a senior executive (or something); he believes that he possesses the required skills, he’s smart and ambitious, everything works in his favor. One day, while he waits for his time to come, he meets a vice president of the company he works for on a cocktail party – it turns out that he’s the fiancee of our guy’s cousin.
The two of them start chatting and the vice president gives our guy his business card, telling him to call his office to schedule a meeting to discuss his future in the company. Our guy is ecstatic at first, but as the time passes he starts doubting that the other guy meant what he said. Eventually he forgets all about it.
A few months later they meet again. The vice president, surprised that our guy hasn’t called, informs him that they had a position in the company that our guy would be perfect for, but he thought that he just wasn’t interested and they found someone else.

Situation Two: Manifesting The One

A girl visualizes Mr. Dreamy every evening, she makes room for him in her life, she’s joyful when she thinks of him, she knows he’s on his way.
Then a friend calls her and says that she won two weeks in the Bahamas asking her to come along, but they should go the next day. The girl says “no, thanks, I’was planning to redecorate my apartment this week, too busy.” That is true what she says, she has been planning this for a few months. So she doesn’t go.
Her Mr. Dreamy came to the Bahamas two days later, didn’t meet her, went back home and married someone else. She is still waiting for her manifestation to come.

Could This Be You?

These are typical “what if” situations and they don’t have to reflect the way you’d handle them, but ask yourself if you’d be willing to jump on every opportunity the universe throws your way?
True, there was no reason for the girl in our story to even think that Mr. Dreamy would be in the Bahamas; true, the guy from above has been let down before.
But it’s also true that none of them had nothing to lose if they had tried. These weren’t some everyday opportunities for neither of them, and still they didn’t see that it was how their manifestations were to come to them. Too scared, too lazy, too unable to trust anyone or anything, they both let the opportunities pass.
Now, you could say: “Well, the girl had other plans”. True again. But it wasn’t something that her life depended on, she could have changed them. When you really are a match to what you want, the universe will bring it to you in such a way that everything comes in place – if she had chosen to go to the Bahamas then she wouldn’t be redecorating her apartment alone, or she’d move in with The One and her apartment wouldn’t need redecorating after all.
The guy above, he was just too scared. It was a jump to the unknown that he wasn’t willing to take.
We often get paralyzed by the mere possibility of our dreams coming true that we have no trouble making ourselves believe that it won’t happen, that it’s not worth it or that there’s a price to pay.
Investigate your beliefs. Don’t dismiss anything, jump on every opportunity that feels good, even if it’s just for fun – that’s how you’re supposed to see it!
