Everything in Life

Everything in life is meant to awaken our sense of being. Every situation that we bear witness to is meant to awaken our true meaning. We are not to pass judgement on these circumstances but to absorb the true meaning of it. Judgment clouds our openness and attaches us to the situation.

When havoc reeks around me I remain with a calm spirit. I am not attached to the havoc nor do I partake in it. I go where my spirit is lifted by the beautiful souls of others or the breathtaking scenery of our lands. I remain in the powerful knowledge of who I am.

The wonderful sound of laughter echoes in my soul as life is fun and harmony is found in those who enjoy it. Another moment, another hug, kiss or touch many on death's door long for. As we live in our moments lets treat each of those as if it is our last. Give of yourself freely without hesitation and you will prosper.

Time of the past we cannot get back, but we can carry the love and the lessons with us. If we continually think of our tomorrows we will be robbed of the precious gift of today. Even though we carefully plan for our tomorrow's life has a way of changing things. Take it all in stride and remember who you are and what you are made of.

A beautiful appearance may not reveal a beautiful soul. A beautiful soul will be revealed by someone's actions and gestures.

Live lightly and don't be weighed down by everything around you. Things will continue to occur and it is to show us good and evil it is to show us no matter how big we may feel, we remain small in a huge world full of things out of our control.

The importance of our parting from this world is by how we lived our time in this world. Give and receive love every moment, do this with no expectations. Do not do this for glamorous reasons, then it becomes falsehood with expectations attached to it. Give because you can and enjoy it.

With each new day open your arms wide and welcome it. Love and enjoy each day as if a child was running into your arms, that feeling of excitement and love should be expressed throughout your day. A child is such a wonderful gift and so is each day we are given.

A smile and friendly hello can work wonders for those who are in need of it. Lift others spirit every chance you can. Release any anger of things not gone right and receive the joy that others give you so freely and make someone else's day better because of it. Do not come from a place of righteousness, but from a place of gratitude and compassion. After all, we all have bad moments which can be replaced with a smile.

With Much Anticipation

With our busy lifestyles we sometimes tend to rush things just to squeeze everything into our busy day. I dropped off the kids at school and made it to work for our important meeting. When I returned home I proceeded to get dinner started, throw laundry in, helped with homework and was finally able to meet with a friend over dinner.

My entire day was busy, spent running and getting as much accomplished as I could. As I wind down at night, as with most nights, I wonder, "Where did the day go?" Time just goes by too fast when you are busy.

Sometimes we rush things, sometimes when we want something we lose our ability to let things happen naturally. Sure, we get all of our business handled but there are times when we wish we could have given a little bit more time or attention than we did. Sometimes when we want something we are in a hurry to get it. We tend to try to speed up the process, but life has a way of teaching us patience.

Have you ever met with a friend and have to leave in a half hour or an hour because you have a full agenda. Sure, you are so happy to have the chance to relax and catch up on things, but you sure wish you did this more often and for a longer period of time.

The thing is, having children is a full time job. Running a household is very time consuming and having a job is very demanding as well. But you have to set time aside for you, no matter how long or short that time may be.

Unplanned events will happen. You are on your way to an important meeting and you get a flat tire. You are on your way to your son's game and he forgot his gear, even after reminding him countless times. Take it all in stride, you'll get through this.

Life has a way of changing things. Our bodies tell us when we need more rest; if we don't get it our body will become ill. That illness will make us rest. Do the things you can, while you can. Don't put off the things you want to do for another day. Make up a list of things that you want to do. It may be a trip that you always wanted to take, it might be taking a class or a certain activity, make the time and do it.

When you are young you think that you are invisible, that you have all the time in the world to do what you want. The truth is, our life span comes into prospective when someone close to us gets ill or passes away. This is when you think of all the things that you want to accomplish in your lifetime. But with time and daily living, this feeling passes and responsibility takes over.

If your lifestyle is busy and stressful, slow down and life will become more meaningful. Your body will appreciate it. Check for the signs of a heart attack and schedule your physical. Just because you feel fine does not mean that your body is. Stress does take a toll on your body. As you do this, remember to relax your mind as well. There are various ways to do this; meditate, listen to music, draw, sing and dance to name a few.

Our lifestyle makes us in a hurry; it is when we slowdown that we realize all the things we missed. Slow down because you want to, not because life forces you to.

Wishing you good health, long life and prosperity.
