When Things Go Wrong In Life, Don't Follow Your Problems

Don't Go With The Problem

Many people are experiencing difficulties in their lives than ever before, given the Coronavirus pandemic and economic uncertainty surrounding it. Problems are inevitable and hoping they go away is only wishful thinking. Challenges are sewn into the fabric of life and there are two ways to view them. We can see them as serving no point in our life, or conversely, that they contain the seeds of opportunities for our personal growth. How about you? What do you believe is the reason for problems in your life? What is your mindset when things go wrong? Do you stay stuck in your difficulties or do you try to find a solution?

I admit, when problems arise in my life, my initial reaction was one of anxiety and worry. I felt I had little control over the situation and found it difficult to deal with. However, I've come to distance myself from the drama nowadays, instead of overreacting. By distancing ourselves from a situation, we create a space between the problem, so we don't ruminate on it. We must also allow the passage of time to reveal more information about what we're experiencing. When I encounter a major problem, it seems that weeks and months later, it has evolved to something completely differently. I had this conversation with a coaching client recently, who experienced the same negative emotions. I invited her to mentally distance herself from the drama, otherwise she was likely to stay stuck in her negative emotions without finding a solution.

Are you happy with the idea that we needn't bring negative emotions to the table each time life doesn't go according to plan? Sometimes, what appears as a problem can be a stroke of luck, if we withhold our beliefs about it. Our problems are similar to horses tethered to a chariot. Given the opportunity, they will run wild and we're unable to keep them from taking off. Things will always go wrong in life and our task is to overcome it as best we can. The key message here is that when things go wrong, don't go with your problems; focus on the solution. We must become solution orientated instead of allowing problems to pull us into a pit of despair.

Problems Are Nourishment For Your Soul

When difficulties emerge, we are inclined to believe life is unfair. I've met many resilient leaders over the years who don't allow their problems to overwhelm them but seek to understand the lessons contained within them. These people have experienced many challenges throughout their life without getting caught up in the drama. You've heard it said that problems are opportunities for growth, but that means minor comfort when we face challenges bigger than us.

For example, think of a recent challenge you overcame? What lessons did you learn from it? What actions did you take to deal with the problem? If we believe difficulties are bigger than us, we remain helpless and stuck, instead of trying to overcome it. I assure you; the most trying experiences contain a solution and sometimes it requires digging deep within ourselves to find it. We may encounter frustration, anger and disappointment, but don't despair when you experience these emotions. It's means you are toiling away in the trenches to find a way out.

What I'm suggesting is; the more problems you face, the better you become at dealing with them. The bigger the problem, the greater your level of growth. Our personal growth is associated with our self-esteem and character, which are indicative of living intentionally and purposefully. We cannot avoid problems because there is always one waiting on the next corner. The problems that frustrate me most are ones that emerge when I least expect it. But I've learned that the universe will test my resolve to see whether I am growing to deal with the challenges.

So, going back to the problem you experienced recently, what is the lesson you're invited to learn from it? What qualities is the universe trying to develop within you? When we resist an experience, we resist the growth associated with it. It is like receiving a present on your birthday, but refusing to open it. You've no doubt experienced enough birthdays to know that a present is a gift to cherish. And so of our problems. The universe rarely gives us an experience packaged beautifully, with a bow on it. They are clothed in pain, disappointment and difficulties. So, when things go wrong, don't follow your problems and create greater worries for yourself. Instead, see the lessons as a gift and your problems will become nourishment for your soul.

Confidence, The Only Thing I Had Over Everyone Else (By Jonar Arpon)

"Confidence is 10% hard work and 90% Delusion."

-Tina Fey

Confidence

True story, planet Earth called me this morning, he said, "Jon I'm taking you on today, I want you to know that."

I was with a friend of mines and I told him

"The world wants to take me on today, you know what to do."

He went to the closet

He pulled out a rope and I put both hands behind my back, and he held the phone to my ear and I told him "the world wants to take me on today? I got both hands tied behind my back, now it's even, Try me."

Confidence

I don't care about anything at all, I'll take it on with confidence. It's the one thing that I've always had. It wasn't always like that.

A long time ago, I couldn't even look anyone in the eye. I walked around as a child with my head down, when someone spoke to me I was scared to look them in the eyes. I don't know what it was but that's what it was.

I came from a private school, but my family couldn't afford it anymore so they put me in public school in 5th grade. I went to public school and they thought because I went to a private school I was very smart so they put me in the smartest classes in public school.

They quickly learned I've had F's my whole life. It was too hard, I couldn't grasp anything they were teaching me. I felt alienated and stupid because the class was so hard. Even to this day, I don't even know how to multiply decimals let alone how to do fractions. So I was having a real hard time. They moved me to the dumb class and I still got an F.

I don't think it was because I was dumb or anything but I couldn't learn how they taught me. I didn't learn the same way other kids did at all. I found out very quick academically I was stupid but socially I was a genius.

The school system put a crutch in my head that I was good for nothing because I couldn't learn like the other kids. I was always in the "dumb" class. And the dumb kids were the bottom of the barrel in society.

But something amazing happened

It's like blind people, because they don't have sight they excel greatly in hearing. I happened to be bad at learning in that environment but I excelled greatly in communication skills, building loyalty among peers and leadership. Also confidence, I was the dumbest most confident person in school.

I don't know why?

But it's borderline delusional actually, I don't get it, I'm very socially calibrated, I'm very emotionally intelligent and can actually cold-read a person and tell them about themselves. But I don't know how to divide.

Here's why I don't feel like that's important. Because every great out there was a great communicator. I'm not going to take a pop quiz and if I fail I lose out on everything. No, the challenges I receive in life is how many hits to the face can I take and keep going? How many strategies can I come up with to continue trying while getting tuning my approach with every rejection I face.

Can I still be confident when my loans get pushed out or drop?

Those are the types of pop quiz's life gives you, it gives you a beating and you need the confidence to pull yourself out of it.

Remember guys, exude confidence and take on the entire world.

Lifelong Struggles of Great People

"Life is temporary, but the struggle is permanent". The struggle is defined as a continuous process of growth and experience in future curiosity, where the end result is not necessarily be in your favor. May be a person who has struggled throughout his life may die a miserable death because eventually happy endings are only in movies. Struggle makes you strong and keeps you running through the phases (Present, past, future) of life. What are real struggles? Are they different from normal people? What makes them different from others? Indeed, they are different. Soldiers fighting at the borders are real Heros. They all have 3 things in common, i.e. Unity, Faith and discipline. These three attributes become part of their nature. People get impressed by their uniform, protocol, grace, etc., but I think the most impressive thing in their nature is that equal level of respect they show for each other. From a soldier to a general of Army staff, each one shows an equal level of respect for all. They all spend their lives serving the nation. In the battlefield, each one of them tries hard to be among those who experience martyrdom. During trainings, they don't meet their families for months. They are not allowed to attend family events. They are always ready to fight against the enemies of their country. They all are strongly connected to gather by one major purpose of life, i.e. to serve the country.

All cancer patients around the globe are real fighters. They die every day before the death arrives. Their whole life revolves around a fear of losing this world. Their eyes wait to see the angel of death. Their hopes, dreams, expectations, love, and hate; all their emotions and thoughts disappear at once. You watch the dying; you let them die because death is stronger than us. It waits for no one.

All orphans around the globe are real fighters. It is very difficult to face the bloody challenges of life without the support of your parents. Kids who lose their parents at a very young age are not mentally strong. Their whole concept of home gets shattered at a very young age. When they grow up, they seem like broken souls mimicking adult's life. They struggle throughout their life knowing the fact that they have got no one's back.

The struggle is never easy. Human beings are designed in a way that they want quick results, but struggle demands patience. Lucky are those who get the reward of their continuous struggle.

Emma Stone - Her Little Anxiety Secret Worth Stealing

This is pretty creative.

Oscar-Winning actress, Emma Stone, opened up to Rolling Stone about her childhood anxiety. She used to believe her house was burning to the ground. She'd feel her chest get heavy... struggling to breathe... almost like the world was ending... Her anxiety was on -and-off like that for years!

Until one day she tried something new and different. She wrote a book called I Am Bigger Than My Anxiety. In it, she sketched a little green monster propped up on her shoulder. This little monster whispers lies in her ear. The more she listens to it, the bigger the monster gets.

If it gets too big, it smashes her.

Or she can ignore it. She can keep working on what she's doing. The more she ignores the lies, the more it shrinks... until POOF - it vanishes completely!

Boom! What a strategy!

Touche Emma Stone.

I've come across different shades of this powerful strategy over the years...

It's taking a feeling like anxiety and transforming it into something metaphorical. You see emotions can be very amorphous. It's tricky to grasp them. Let alone how to take control of them. So when you designate an image or metaphor to them, you're able to work with them a bit more. It makes them more concrete. The trick though is finding an image that empowers you.

Years ago, someone told me, their anxiety felt like a wrecking ball that was smashing and destroying their life. Yeesh! I can't blame them. But this was not a very empowering metaphor. And it was making them feel like they didn't have control over their current challenges. So you want to be careful with the metaphors you use. You want to grab ahold of metaphors that support you.

It doesn't mean you ignore the feeling. Or pretend it's not there. It simply means using the feeling in a different way like Emma Stone discovered.

Whether that's a little green monster perched on your shoulder... turning off the radio of mental chatter... Or watching your thoughts fly by like cars on the high-way... And there are endless ways to do so.

One of my favorites comes from the Buddhist tradition.

Here's one that they use:

Imagine your mind is a waterfall. The water constantly crashing over the edge is your thoughts and emotions. Instead of being the cold current of water, you want to become the calm space behind the waterfall (they would call that mindfulness). Simply observe the constant torrent of thoughts flowing. Watching your thoughts from that distance. But keep that separation.

That's just one simple way. There are boatloads of them out there. You may stumble across others or create even better ones than these. So let your creativity swim wild with this one.

Experiment with it.

Make it your own.

And find the one that works for you.

The Role Of Challenges For Our Growth

Daily, we face one challenge or the other. In our world with an estimated population of 7 billion people, no one is immune to, or exempted from challenges.

Most of us think challenges, also call problems by some, are created by factors, or forces outside themselves. This is not entirely true.

Well, there are also millions of people out there, who know from personal experience that whatever challenges facing them are caused by them and not entirely by outside factors.

A challenge is a test of somebody's abilities, or a situation that tests somebody's abilities in a stimulating way.

This is one of the many definitions of challenge by Google and it is correct. Whatever your profession, vocation, passion, status, or position in life, you must face challenges, daily.

Face squarely whatever challenges you are going through and sort them out. We should not behave like the ostrich and hide our heads under the sand, pretending our challenges will go away, or does not exist.

I am just trying to remind my beloved readers and fans out there that when we face our challenges, sort them out, we grow in wisdom, experience and understanding.

Spiritual, emotional, physical, intellectual, and social growth come from solving problems, taking personal responsibilities for our thought, words and deeds. I am already sounding like a teacher, here. I hope I am not boring you. Sorry, if I am.

In my period of meditation, I read a statement from one of the many digests of The Rosicrucian Order, AMORC the other day.

It says the cosmic masters, who are silently serving humanity today were once ordinary men and women, like you and I.

These masters were problem solvers during their many incarnations on this earth plane.

Now, they are serving the great humanity, the great light, the cosmic, after they have been thoroughly illumined.

The great journey to illumination and service to God and humanity. This sounds good and acceptable to me. But, what do you think, beloved?

Challenges or problems, in most cases are not created by the devil, Satan, our enemies, generational curses, as some religious persons will want us to accept, whatever.

We attract these challenges to ourselves, with a genuine and deep seated, intention to grow in all planes of existence. This is the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth. But, please do not accept it hook, line and sinker. Reflect on it.

Look around you and see those who are truly illumined, great, powerful, spiritual, successful, etc, you will notice that they are problem solvers and that they passed through many challenges and are still passing through.

Creative Choices Curtail Challenges!

relaxation, yoga, meditation, nature, sunny, summer, holidays ...

What are you most afraid of? What is your greatest desire? Most often these two emotional experiences go hand in hand.

That thing of your utmost yearning is being thwarted by your greatest fear. And fear is truly False Evidence Appearing Real! As you will read in the coming weeks, I often make reference to FEAR, because it is such a powerful force limiting the human potential of so many people. But do not be dismayed, the reference only serves to communicate tips, tools and techniques to empower your inner Conqueror! For example, ONE incredible tool I've found to combat uncertainty, anxiety and fear is creativity!

So how does one go about overcoming, overtaking our fears and choosing Creativity? Let's begin with daily habits. What were your rituals when you rose today? What about yesterday morning? And the day before that? There's a pretty good chance that your daily activities, routine will indicate the source of your fears. Your routine, and we all have them, is the repeated and duplicated behavior that creates your circumstances, situations and life. We are what we repeatedly do and that routine has become the comfort zone.

The basis of instincts is to desire comfort, the familiar... you know the true blue that which can be counted on! However to outdistance challenges, overtake hurdles and leap out of pitfalls comfortable won't do. A new perspective is required. Do you happen to remember the definition of insanity? Doing the same thing over and over, looking for a different result. Creativity requires the introduction of NEW information into your current database of knowledge to spark NEW ideas, insights and inspirations.

Recall the daily habits discussion earlier? Well, there are so many opportunities for you to introduce NEW information into your mental database. Here are a few suggestions for as short as 5-10 minutes or as long as you'd like. I recommend starting slow 5-10 minutes for 30 days to establish the habit then increasing. The goal is to BEGIN incorporating innovative information that gives you a fresh perspective propelling you into your possibilities!

Think about beginning your day in Gratitude Journaling. Do you exercise, have a long commute? Listen to a personal/professional development podcast. Watch an informative YouTube or participate in a guided meditation. Read a book of interest. The essential takeaway is that you embrace doing something different to ignite your inventive and creative nature. And like all NEW things, it will take time to adopt a new habit. Repetition is your indicator to once again introduce something new into the mix. SUCCESS will require becoming comfortable being uncomfortable to stay cutting edge!

Two Major Mistakes You Should Stop Making Right Now

"Why can't I just figure stuff out like everyone else?"

"Am I the only one who doesn't know how to take control of my life yet?"

"How did everyone else learn know how to handle all these challenges?"

"How come everyone else seem so freakin' content all the time?"

Any of these ring a bell?

Ever notice how we tend to think that we're the only one who hasn't got it all figured out yet?

Of course you do. We all think like this sometimes. After all, we've never been as old as we are at any given time. And since we haven't, then how are we supposed to know what to do about everything?

It's funny, then, how "everyone else" seem to be perfectly on top of things, even though the same condition applies to them too.

... Of course there's always that one utterly clueless idiot, but generally, "everyone else" doesn't seem like much of a stretch when it comes to these things.

What if I told you that most people think this way about others - including you?

Why is this?

Well, for one thing. Our minds still haven't evolved much in the last 10.000 years or so. We're still subconsciously on the lookout for potential threats anywhere, anytime. But today there's no sabre-toothed tigers anywhere. Our subconscious mind, then, considers our main threat to be other people.

Therefore, we tend to not only overestimate others, but, accordingly, underestimate ourselves.

We want to keep up appearances because they serve us like a barrier towards... well, unpleasant stuff.

Look at the average Facebook pictures. You'll see people's vacations, their nights out, and other social gatherings. The status updates will be about pets, babies, and plain ol' food. So... nice things, really.

What you probably won't see are people's marital arguments. Their sudden panic attacks while at the store. That one time they got too drunk and embarrassed themselves at a family reunion because deep down they were miserable.

Those things aren't comfortable... So we put a lid on them.

Since we tend to be closed about these unpleasant sides of our lives, it's easy to mistake other people's apparent lack of problems for success. Which, of course, it's not. It's simply cultural taboo doing its thing.

Furthermore, it's easy to get caught up in one's own problems. After all, you're the one having them, right? Nobody knows your problems better than you, and they're no bigger to anybody else but you.

The combination of those two things -- overestimating other people's apparent success + underestimating one's actual blessings, advantages and abilities = one debilitating combo.

The problem is, it's easy to let it deceive you.

The good news is, it's exactly that: Nothing more than effective deception.

Statistically, you'll be off like the majority when it comes to having problems. And chances are that you'll be blowing your own ones out of proportion.

If our primal minds are constantly on the look for trouble, they're gonna find it whether it's there or not. This is why people create drama when they're bored: It's what our brains are hardwired to do!

We actually NEED a certain amount of problems in our lives. Otherwise, we'd go insane! Because problems - and the overcoming thereof - feels like purpose, like meaning.

Ever been alone with nothing to do, read or watch for hours on end? We'd go crazy if we didn't have any kind of task, leisure or distraction.

However, to function properly we need to distinguish and prioritize between realistic, relevant problems and perceived mountains where there's only molehills.

When we're aware of these things, we can overestimate others a little less, and underestimate ourselves a little less.

In time, we might even be capable of making realistic assessments of the world.

How about that?!

In short, and in other words:

Never underestimate yourself. And never overestimate others.

(But of course, don't do the opposite, either!)

Message From the Universe: Appreciate Life a Bit More!

Rear View of Woman With Arms Raised at Beach during Sunset

"Now! Go! Stake your claim! Hold out your hands. Move, get ready, give thanks. Imagine, and let go. Act, and have faith. Persist. Do what you can, when you can, all you can. Because never again, not in a million years, not over ten thousand lifetimes, will you ever again be as close as you are today.

Ungawwa,
The Universe"

This message is running up my spine as I am reading it and writing the interpretation. For everyone experiencing different challenges, this message can mean different thing. It is great because it covers such a wide area of possible concerns that many might experience daily, but yet, isn't specific when providing answers. The message is universal because it can apply to everything. The common denominator is appreciation and gratitude and belief. If you have all three, you can accomplish anything and reach all your goals and dreams. I agree that a bit of luck is needed to make it all happen quicker, but overall, with persistence and strong determination to succeed, you will accomplish everything you put your mind into. The key is to NEVER stop. It can be hard as you have no clue if what you are doing today will bring you anywhere, but just pay attention to the signs/signals, your environment, opportunities, and look for what is abnormal in your daily routine. If you find something being redundant, or boring for you, start looking for a change. Determine the best course of action and just take it. Do not hesitate as you will start questioning your every move, on every day. I am not saying to jump on anything without really thinking about it, but after looking at all the option, just take that leap, jump and let the rest unravel in front of you. No one ever succeeded in life without taking risks, putting everything down and going for whatever outcome. You need to understand that we all have some kind of mission, and despite all the challenges we face, we need to still search for our mission, and do whatever it takes to accomplish it. The rest is in the hand of God and his/her decision. This is ONE other thing you can't really control.

When you are having positive thoughts, let them run through your head, desire them to happen and always be grateful for what you already have. It is a very important components to making your thoughts a reality. You need to let the Universe know that you are OK even if your thoughts didn't come true. Learn to be happy with what was already handed to you and it is OK to aim for something better, but do it for the right reasons. Looking to be wealthier? Aren't we all? Well, work on a plan that will make this happen but also accept the way things are today. Are you starving? Are you on the streets? Are you out of a job? If you are reading this article, I can assume that it is none of the above. When reading this article, that means you have a computer with internet connection, or a laptop or whatever else, which mean you probably have a job to afford these items. Appreciate all of what you have and always look to change yourself first, before changing your overall situation. You might ask: "What's the difference between both?" Changing who you are is internal, but changing your situation is external. So focus on the internal first, such as your attitude, your approach to life, your personality, your anger problem, your self esteem issue if you have any. The external is your financial status, relationship or career which is definitely much less of a hassle to change. Start looking to change from within first, and the rest will follow.

Message From the Universe: Avoiding Challenges

woman sitting on floor and leaning on couch using laptop

"I know this may come as somewhat of a shock but of your innumerable and extraordinary gifts, one day you'll consider your present day challenges as the greatest of them all.

Trust me.

Now, wasn't I good to you?
The Universe"

Every day present its own challenges. Every day is different in some shape and forms. Schedules are different, your responsibilities, your actions, your behavior towards different events happening during that day. We might feel we are doing the same things over and over again, but from an outside perspective, it is different. But different is good, changes are important to always keep things exciting about life. Today's challenges might be extremely tough for you but when tomorrow comes, you will realize yesterday's challenges weren't such a big deal after all. The reason is because you are learning to handle them the proper way and becoming more mature about it.

So by changing your inner world towards being more acceptance of these difficult challenges, you are actually building an immunity to how it affects you. You are changing the perception by making decisions based on facts and without any panic. You are changing your behavior so you can look at things optimistically. When crap has to hit the fan, it will hit it no matter what. The question is: Will you stay in the trajectory of the crap coming towards you and panic about it or will you "Matrix Move" it ( When Neo bends backwards to avoid gun bullets from Agent Mr. Smith). The choice is yours.

Message From the Universe: This Is NOT Your Last Crusade

Back view Of A Woman Standing Near Cliff

"Of all the wonderful places you'll go, of all the happy times you'll have, and of all the adventures that now call unto you, each will be enhanced and will more quickly come to pass... with your absolute immersion into today's places, times, and adventures.

Don't you just love having so much control?

Tallyho,
The Universe"

Life without any adventures is a boring life. Even the difficult challenges we face daily are an integrated part of what makes who we are today. It is easy to go through life without any hurdles or frustrations, but without them, you will never progress or develop in a stronger and more purposeful individual. You should embrace all the good and the bad that comes into your life but also not let the bad things weigh over your shoulders and create havoc in your life. There is so much to do and enjoy about life and whatever happens, always be grateful that it is not worst than what it is now. Take the time to look around you and be fortunate for what you have. Nothing will come easy and this is why, by working harder and more efficiently, you will start seeing amazing results. The Universe will work on your side if you allow it but without the proper thought process, you might confuse the Universe to what you really want and nothing will come to fruition. In response to this inevitable situation, you might end up feeling a sense of nothing working in your life and abandon ship. Patience is crucial for things to take momentum, just like a snowball rolling down a hill. It will start slowly but once it amasses snow and speed, it gets bigger and more destructive in nature. This is how we all need to tackle life.

Your adventure has just begun. The question is: What are your plans to live through the many adventures life have to offer? If confronted with some obstacles, will you let life bring you down and keep you there permanently or will you get up and hit back like Mike Tyson in a boxing match. If you recall, he was an animal and won most of all his fights. So what are you waiting for? Get yourself back at the gym, go in front of a punching back and start hitting the bag day after day for as long as it takes to built strength and power. Once done, get back home and take 25 minutes daily to do mindful meditation to train your brain to ONLY accept positive thoughts in your life. Once you follow this training religiously, there are no reasons why you shouldn't win every of your fights. A healthy body will render a healthy mind, and vice versa. Never forgo one for the other. They come together in synergy to provide you with a life filled with dreams and prosperity. Put your gloves on, and let's hit the gym.

Message From the Universe: Actions Speak Louder Than Thoughts

"Hoping, wishing, and praying shouldn't ever be confused with doing.

Know what I mean?

Tallyho,
The Universe"

Great! You've mastered your thoughts, your hopes, your wishes and prayers but that doesn't mean you shouldn't act on them. You've heard of the say: "Actions speaks louder than words" and this one applies to this Message as well. Just thinking about your positive thoughts isn't enough to get the ball rolling. You need to act on it, feel and believe that is yours already but take affirmative action to make things happen the way you anticipated. It will not come easy, that's a fact, and you will fail miserably along the way. My question to you is: Will you let life control you or will it be the opposite? How do you see yourself dealing with the challenges that life will throw at you on a daily basis?

We all have these hopes and dreams that we want to become the best in what we do, the best in our jobs, our family obligations and so on and so forth. You will have to determine if you are willing to put in the effort and the work to make things happen the way you want. It all really depends on you. Everything from this point forward will be within your control. You will need to wake at the crack of dawn to be ahead of the crowd. What others aren't willing to do, you may need to fight through it. The extra hours are a must to your ultimate success. No one will have a gun to your head to do the things you need to do. You are on your own with this one. It may be lonely at times to constantly have your motivation be on high gear but this is what is needed to be where others are very afraid to go. Even though many wishes fortune and glory, most do not know how to handle when it comes. It can be overwhelming to suddenly be in the spotlight and be known worldwide. Be careful what you wish for, as many claims and it is true for most of the time. That shouldn't stop you from gaining advantage among the many others doing the same things as you. Control your own destiny by taking actions and keep the right intentions streaming. Help others do the same as well. Many may not have that same ambition, that same drive, that same desire as you. Be willing to teach so others can relay your accomplishments and succeed. This is how the cycle of life runs.

Message From the Universe: You Are in Control of Your Own Destiny

"When I survey life's majesty: the birds, the bees, and the African Tulip trees. And when I survey life's characters: the Abdullas, the Lilis, and the Kaylas. And when I consider life's tribulations: the setbacks, the losses, the fear. And when I consider life's abundance, its glories, its order. And when I... actually, I could go on forever... literally.

Do you know what I love the most?

How real it all seems.

Wow,
The Universe"

There is a path to everything in life. Depending on which one you take, you must take responsibilities for your decisions. Never point fingers to anyone when you fail but take all the credit when you succeed. Whatever happens to you and in your life, the sun will still rise and set every day, the oceans will still have water in them, birds will still be flying and so on and so forth. Planet Earth is not even in the center of the Universe, as many astrophysicists have concluded, so why should anything stop when you are dealing with challenges in life? Why should these challenges stop you from moving forward? You are not the only one who deals with problems on a daily basis, but as long as you face these problems and find the best solution per your standard, you are good to go. Remember, these are YOUR problems, so whatever solution YOU find, it will be the best for your own outcome. No one is competing with your problems, so you will be the ONLY one dealing with the consequences.

There is never the best solution to every problems, but as long as you can learn from them, you will be progressing and apt to deal with future issues in a more productive way. If a problem is recurring over and over again and you have resolved the issues in the past, you start to expect it to happen again and no longer feel bothered by it. The element of surprise is what takes most people off guard and brings in fear while dealing with the challenge. Adding fear while resolving issues will not optimize its solution. You will need to dissect the problem into little bitty parts and resolve each and every of these parts separately to eventually solve the overall dilemma. Do not let it overwhelm you or it will create more distress and disappointment. You are in control and do not let anyone find the best solution for you. Many will gladly give you their point of view but remember that you will be the ONLY one dealing with the consequences of their point of view. It is very easy to give your advice to others problem when you will not personally deal with its outcome right? Do not seek advice unless you fully trust the person or you will end up pointing fingers to him and her for all your troubles and disappointments. Make your own decisions and go from there.

Life Is Too Short Not To Do More and Be More!

So many of us have the passion to do more and be more, but yet we never take the steps to make things happen. Perhaps because of doubt, fear, or feeling stuck and not knowing what to do next. But every one of us has the opportunity to go to the next level in our lives. We have what we need to make a bigger difference in the world. And we can become more successful internally and externally.

We can't go through life without ever finding the courage to do the things we really want to do. There is always going to be some reason that we can find to put our dreams off until tomorrow. But for many people tomorrow never comes. The best thing to do is to get started immediately while you have the opportunity. You can take small steps that will lead to you accomplishing your dreams and goals. Just start where you are, with what you have, and have faith.

Challenges will always be there but you have to let your faith rise higher than any challenges you face. You can do it! Believe in yourself and trust that God will get you where he wants you to be. If you take a look back in your life you will probably see that there were many times you didn't know how you would overcome obstacles and achieve your goals, but you did it. But there is still more. And you have to use that same motivation and courage to step out into even deeper waters.

Unfortunately after life has ended there are no more opportunities to do on earth the things we wanted to do. That is why you have to seize the opportunities as they are presented. You can't change yesterday and you can't even change the present, but you can take steps today to help create the tomorrow that you desire and deserve.

How to Keep Yourself Together

There are both good times and rough times along the way of living. Sometimes, we get confused all over the small pieces of distractions and fall on our knees whenever obstacles get in the way. The pathway to heaven isn't as delightful as those depicted in fantasies or fairy tales. Life can be confusing to the least, and very complicated for many. It is possible and common for all of us to go through the hard times, face the challenges, and ride along the bumpy roads. Whenever that happens, stress strikes us hard and killed us mentally from the inside. Feeling weary, down, and blue, these emotions affect our physical well-being and therefore lead to illnesses.

Unaware of the lack of inner calmness, we seem to find it hard to keep ourselves together. Inner calmness is crucial for true happiness and satisfaction. Therefore, it is important to keep your mind unoccupied. The best way to make that happen is to stop over-thinking about small matters and try to eliminate negative thoughts as much as possible. It is also best to keep your thoughts light and more to the positive, brighter side. As mood swings, excessive ego, and emotional breakdown adds up fire to problem you're facing, it is best to keep everything simple. If there are complications, take a deep breath and slowly manage the problems one by one. Like using bullet points to separate topics into smaller sub topics, do the same way with life's matters. Whenever you feel like exploding or bursting into tears of varying emotions like confusion, anger, and frustration, remember to keep things simple and eliminate the problem-triggering points as much as possible.

Stress-Relief Breathing Exercises

Breathing is generally an involuntary activity the body does automatically to keep us alive, which is probably why many still don't get it why breathing can make a difference in managing emotions. Learning, practicing, and managing your breaths can keep your mind occupied with the act of breathing itself, which lowers the possibilities of drawing in distractions and the unpleasant, negative thoughts like those of stress. Managing your breathing posture will also aid in an improved attitude and stance. Just fifteen to thirty minutes of correcting your breathing posture will help enhance and clear your thoughts as the brain mainly focuses on the breaths. Breathing deeply without your chest moving, inhaling while the stomach moves away from the body, and exhaling when the stomach moves towards the body will keep your busy minds occupied and at the same instance, improve your breathing posture as a whole.

Stop Telling Yourself to Stop Thinking

If you'd ever find yourself telling yourself to stop thinking about a matter or go nuts over it, know that the more you will 'think' and 'go crazy' about it over and over again like a repeating mix-tape. If you don't want to think about a matter and just waiting for it to go, it is best to just ignore and make yourself busy with other things. Grab a ticket to a movie theatre, listen to Eminem, or call a friend to your house. As long as you keep yourself cheerful and happy, the unwanted thoughts will gradually go away though it might take you some time. For instance, if you are worried about your acne breakouts, you will tend to look out for it more. You might see a few yesterday and see much more today, because the body focuses only on acne production. This not only causes the body to trigger oil production and acne formation possibilities, it also leads to an unhealthy state of mind and the lack of self-esteem.

Message From the Universe: Living a Challenging Life and Loving Every Minute of It

Woman Standing on Sunflower Field

"You didn't choose this lifetime thinking it would be without challenges. You chose it, in large part, for the challenges you now have.

You've got it made,
The Universe"

No one can really choose their family, we are born in it. We see many kids growing up with abusive parents, dysfunctional families, and ending up with huge self-worth and self esteem issues. Some parents aren't set up to have kids on their own, especially when they can't even take care of themselves. They been raised with so much hatred and abuse and repeats the same to their own offspring. It is sad but you see it everyday. Don't people learn? Most things in life can be reversible if you make the necessary changes needed from the start. Never feel like it is too late. When you feel you are gaining lots of weight, don't feel like you are destined to be obese for the rest of your life. You can stop obesity in its track and start exercising and eating healthier. I did that myself and went into bodybuilding. I am not different than any other person out there, I just felt like I didn't want to be jailed by my own body and feel like I lost total control of my life. If I did it, everyone else can do it.

But without challenges, how will life be? Will it be fun, boring, anticipated, uneventful? Why is the line of success never a straight one? These challenges come in, distort the path you are in, to create a new venue for you to cross and offer better opportunities in your life. You should accept and embrace changes in your life, especially when you feel that these changes are going to present new exciting outcomes and allow you to become a better person throughout this process. You are in control of your own destiny, no one can come and intervene, and if so, just ignore the naysayers and move forward no matter what. Remember that those who are to afraid of your success are the one who will come up with negative responses to your actions. They are even afraid of their own shadow, and are stuck in their mundane life that they refuse to accept someone who has more guts than they do. So when you see people trying to put a stick in your wheels, just smile because you know that people fear your ambitions, your dedication and your drive to succeed.

Don't Play The Victim Or You'll Be Victimised!

Life is a school - the more you go, the more you learn.
Rear View of a boy Sitting on Grassland

And one of the things I've found out is that life victimises those who play the victim. In fact, the way it works is, if you lie down, you will be climbed upon; if you sit down, you will be sat on and if you play dead, you will be buried - it's as simple as that.

If you want to win, you must get on your feet, wipe your tears, roll up your sleeves and get into the fight determined to win and don't quit until you do!

It's Just Not Fair - But That's The Reality

The pressures, challenges and difficulties of life will furnish you with more than enough reasons to throw up your hand and say I can't go on anymore.

You may feel like doing so as the pressures bashing against your weary self may strongly suggest it and even your logical analysis will lead you to the conclusion that the best thing to do is to throw up your hands and surrender. After all, you are only human and there is only so much you can bear (you may tell yourself).

But don't do it! Don't give in to that despondency and play the victim. You can't afford to go by what you feel in this case. It may not be fair but that is the reality.

You must press on even when you don't feel like doing so and you must lift your head above the waters even when you feel like surrendering to the storm. If you play the victim, you'll be victimised.

Not Many People Tell The Whole Story

Some of the greatest champions in history in whatever the field, (if they will tell you), came close to giving up. They are all too familiar with that sinking feeling to play the victim and quit but they refused. They pressed through that negative cloud and emerged as champions.

As champions, they are celebrated but not many of them bother to say what they went through and how that almost gave up. And by the way, not many people care to find out what they went through to become the great successes that they became.

You Too Do Stand A Chance To Succeed

That's right. You may be bombarded by the thoughts of giving up right now, but if you press through and end up at the other side (of success and breakthrough), many will celebrate you without caring to know what you went through to get there. What you are being confronted with is not new. That is the stuff that champions and winners go through.

If you don't play the victim and quit, you stand the chance of succeeding and emerging the successful you that you dreamt of.

Not Everyone Is Born With A Silver Spoon

Not everyone that has succeeded was born with silver spoon in their mouth. Some of the greatest heroes ever known were those who had very little to go on and came close to the brink of failure several times but refused to throw in the towel. Against all odds, they emerged as champions and that is even the more reason they are celebrated. If they could, what makes you think you can't?

Most times, it is not how weak or strong you are; it is not how gifted or non-gifted you are; it is not how privileged or underprivileged you are. Most times, it comes down to one thing and that is the decision to press on and not to play the victim no matter what.

Get The Help You Need To win

Where do you find the courage to stand when you feel like sitting down? Where do you find the resourcefulness to press on when you feel like throwing up your hands in defeat? And where do you find reason to hope when all you can see is the dark cloud of hopelessness? I will tell you.

That help can only be found in God. He is a friend of the wounded, despondent and failing heart. He knows how to strengthen a man inside out at his weakest moments and most importantly, He has the power and the resources to turn any negative situation around if you will let Him to step in and help you.

The first step to opening the door for Him to help you, is to come into a personal relationship with Him. And that is what happens when you receive Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Saviour. Believe me, that will open the door to a lot of good things that will surprise you.

Message From the Universe: It Is Time to Say Something

Man On Cliff About To Jump

"Give it thought. Consider every angle. And then speak your mind.

You've not been drawn into anyone's life just to listen.

Loud and proud,
The Universe"

Just like going into business, it is important to take calculated risks before you jump into anything. Prepare yourself to work towards the goals that you set yourself to and figure out the best way to get there. I am not saying that you will achieve everything without experiencing difficult challenges, but at least you will be well prepared in advance to deal with these hurdles. More prepared you are, more chances to resolve your issues. No one can predict everything that will happen before it does happen, but as long as you have somewhat of an idea of the probability that it MAY happen, you will know how to handle the situation professionally and effectively. The line of success is never a straight one, so never feel like a failure if you weren't able to go straight. You will experience difficult moments, problems that are as high as Mt Everest but you will need to figure out how to get around it. There is no IF or BUT about it.

So what should you do? First and foremost is to take your time before you jump into anything and consider every angle imaginable. I am not saying to just find excuses to move forward, but once you are sure within yourself that it is the right opportunity for you, then I would suggest to take that leap of faith and jump. By jumping, you are moving forward towards reaching your goals and accomplishments. If you stay up in that mountain, you will be looking down and see the ones who did take that leap of faith and discover themselves better. You can't let that happen. Figure out the problems as you go along, and you will get smarter doing that as well. Again, you will need to jump off that cliff and figure out how to do things better.
