The Law Of Attraction And Its Power

You have undoubtedly heard or met what is called the law of attraction and its power that has the tendency to bring forth what you deeply believe in. Then, if it works so well, why is not everyone who follows, attends seminars or read books about it wealthy and successful, and most of all happy?

If all you need to do is think or have positive thoughts, you should be able to create a better world for yourself overnight, shouldn't you, so what is wrong this picture?

Well, it often is because most people see, listen or read about the law of attraction once and then within a few days, forget all about it. Most of them will never actually use what they have learned, practice it and internalize it. You see, it takes a strong commitment, a conscious pledge to make positive change occur, and certainly on a subconscious level.

What you should realize is that even right now, the old you is doing everything in his power to prevent change. It comes up with excuses for not reading this post. It procrastinates and makes excuses for not believing in the ideas of this inner power, even if they are right for you. The reason why is because the 'old you' is comfortable, it has a built in survival mechanism to protect the status quo, and that is why change is so difficult for lots of people.

The law of attraction when used on a surface level always fails. Thousands and thousands of people attend self-improvement or positive thinking seminars, or buy books and videos, and yet very few people derive permanent benefits from them.

It is not because the information is not working or is not valid, it is! It is just that what you hear or read deals only with your conscious mind, but that mind is not the engine that powers your life. It is rather your subconscious or unconscious part of your mind from which your habits, behaviors, and outlooks spring automatically.

Lasting Change Begins Within the Unconscious

So the key to permanent and lasting change is to go straight into your unconscious and to rewire how you think about yourself and your future. This drawing power says that what you believe determines what you make real. You may not trust me, but this is nothing new. In fact, the law of attraction is even ancient. Great thinkers and truth-seekers have been saying it for hundreds of years.

"Everything we see is a perspective, not the truth."- Marc Aurelius, Roman Emperor (121-180 AD)

You may like it or not, but you have now to break through an imprinted mind script that is made for most years of wrong instructions. At the deepest level of your being, you hold many negative beliefs and habits. You have to replace them by anchoring new ways and beliefs into your subconscious, where ideas are formed, and reinforced by perceptions, and thus made true.

Do you still not believe in the influence your unconscious might have?

Then watch 'The Amazing Power of Your Mind,' and you will be amazed by the truth of it all.

How to Make the Law of Attraction Work for You

To make the law of attraction work, you must at first rewrite the way you think and how you perceive your reality. Inside your subconscious mind, for years now, you have encrypted what you see as the truth. Remember, what you accept to believe as true is true, or become true.

Whatever desire you can have. But if you have been told all your life that you will never amount to anything or that being wealthy is something which is impossible, and you still believe it unconsciously, then that is the mindset which is linked to your subconscious, and that is the reality you experience.

So how do you begin to make this law of reciprocity work for you? Most of you have seen the movie "The Secret," and yet there are a few more tips to back up this drawing law. Discover them now:

Not Worrying about How or When

You do not have to understand how or when it might happen. It makes no sense to try to control the Universe by telling it how your life needs to unfold. Just begin by giving a listening ear, a smile or some kind attention to people around you.

Be thankful and give goodness to others while letting that inner power influence your heart. It will, in turn, activate the law of attraction which will pull the universal flow, and improve the conditions of your life enormously.

Visualizing What You Want

The power of intention says to visualize what you want to achieve as brightly and vividly as possible. Whether it is in the form of a picture, a feeling or words, the crucial point is to see yourself as if you have already achieved that desire or objective.

Observe things and perceive the colors. Listen to the sounds. Smell the aromas. Feel the touch of the items around you. Walk through the whole place in your mind, getting in as many details as you would like them to be in your reality. At first, your images may be a bit unclear, but clarity improves with practice. In fact, the greater the details, the better ammo you are giving your unconscious mind to believe it and then to act on it.

If for some reason, you cannot visualize, get in touch with a memory where you were happy. Recreate the scene and relive the moment. It will bring forward a positive emotion that will mentally connect with your future desires in your subconscious.

Manifesting Something New

If you want to manifest something new, you have to get into the habit of creating things you already have. By this, I mean to look at your current possessions, for example, pick an object or someone that makes you feel good and declare: "I have... " and fill in the blank. Then start with stuff you do not have.

You have to focus your intention on what you have now and have already manifested. You may think that this process is strange but it works like magic. When you visualize, feel, and manifest what you have previously gotten, it intensifies the power of the law of attraction, and your focus to bring what you want and changes your whole reality.

Creating Your Desires While Sleeping

Sleeping time is a great moment to contribute to creating desires. As you get in bed and are ready to drift off to sleep, ask to be ONE with your wishes, in heart, mind, and feeling. Begin by saying things such as "I am one with financial freedom," "I am one with wealth," "I am one with my dream house," etc.

Whatever your wish is, feel and breathe it entirely while going to sleep. Then the next day, nurture this feeling of being one with your desires because it is a huge and vital point. This way, you will accelerate your path to the goal. Become your desires in your sleep, and you will draw the power of intention to bring it into your existence.

Accepting Not Knowing How

When you imagine what you want, but have no idea about which steps to take to get it, then your first move is to accept that you do not know how. Do not be afraid and be at peace with that. It is where you are right now. Worrying or wondering will not help.

So let the power of the universe take care of things, it knows how better than you do. In other words, just let the law of attraction carry on with its plan, even if it may not be how you expected it to be. All you need to do is act on the opportunities that a situation brings to you. Let the drawing power of the universe move through you and show you what to do.

Letting it Happen

It is great to do visualizations and use affirmations. But remember that your inner power is like gravity. It just pulls in what it needs. You need to be open and allow the unconscious manifestation of the law of attraction. It will help you not to be stressed.

You should expect good things to come out of nowhere, spontaneously revealing themselves to you. Good things may have just appeared before. So let it happen again. When visualizing or using positive thinking, see things as if they were already a reality. This way, you separate yourself from doubt and set in motion the self-actualization of your desire.

Recognize You Deserve All of It

You must understand that you deserve everything your heart wishes for, and not feel the least guilty about it because, for many of us, we have an unconscious guilt about being happy or wealthy. But why should you feel remorseful about being happy or rich?

Well, it is because somewhere along the line, our parents, our schools, our beliefs or our friends have influenced us into believing that we have to suffer or pay the price for happiness and riches. Or that just when things start to get good, they all turn bad, and if you don't mind me saying, all of that stuff is just all crap.

People say those things because of they, themselves, have a belief system of limitation and lack. If you wait until you feel deserving of having pleasant thoughts about your life, you will end up convincing your unconscious that you are undeserving of happiness, wealth or both, and the result is that you will be unhappy and unsuccessful in most of your endeavors and undertakings.

It is not selfish or wrong to ask the law of attraction to help you get your desires or to be happy, regardless of where you are in life. Happiness is a means to an end which is success and well-being, and it is also an end in and of itself that we all desire.

Trust in the Power of Intention

Believing and trusting in the power of intention will allow you to create the mental habit to be happy the majority of the time and winning in almost every circumstance you encounter.

The last and final point I want to make is: don't think, don't try, and just do. Thinking and trying gives your subconscious the wrong message. Let your unconscious autopilot steer you in the right direction. It is not hard if you don't think or try but just do.

Scientists are just catching up with the immense power of the mind to heal disease, to overcome extreme handicap spontaneously. Countless of people spend hours every day conditioning their physical body to look and feel their best rather than developing their most valuable resource, their minds. The law of attraction and its power shows that the more you condition your thoughts for what you want, the more it will respond.

Self-Improvement Lies In Challenging The Historical Image In Your Mindset

The Ability To View Your Audience Wearing Pyjamas

This has been a famous visualization technique to overcome the stage fright for years. If not centuries, considering the negligent fashion style today.

Apparently, not everyone succeeds in applying this 'imagination weapon' in their life situation. Understandably, as our imagination and its rationalizing derive from nowhere else but from individual brains; only proving that humans pass each other with different concepts in their minds. In a way, we resemble walking means of transport driven by our nerve centres. Therefore each of us will evaluate the same moment differently.

Think of streets with crowds as streets flooded with bare brains levitating past each other like passers-by, along each other like two companions, against each other like two recognized friends or, on the contrary, two people in dispute, and away from each other like two people who have nothing in common (no common history, no shared interests, different address, different aspirations, different personal issues) - one heading towards the last-minute train home, the other only to his night shift.

In this image of interacting brains, like principally in our reality, all the communication is based on no other motion feasibility than the straining of neural synapses and hemispheric sections. This activity involves various emotional, cognitive and memory centres; in our reality dressed in human coats. And that is the whole miracle! Our brains get influenced by each human expression. Are we able to ignore face grim, angry voice, fear from how we look, how we appear or how the society accepts us? Should we be unified, wearing same house pyjamas or going everyone skinhead, the fear of looking inappropriately different would be half-way diminished.

What Is It That Holds Us Back From Entering Any Competition?

Do you keep in mind all the aforementioned power of imagination? Then you can see the answer yourself. It is the fact that, by nature, the homo sapiens, modern humans, are different and judgemental.

Each human brain contains some historical residual from our predecessors. This anthropological evolution of human mind depicts a remarkable research finding of an interdisciplinary researcher, called Rahman Haghighat. In his book Historical Memories in Culture, Politics and the Future - The Making of History and the World to Come, you could come to a conclusion that our brains have partially built-in and partially adopted social assessment measurements and that the whole bunch of brains, the society, has developed silent rules to assess our suitability 'au fait'.

Do you notice what a crucial role do our developed senses play in the enormously critical section of our brain and how this section is flexible, being able to become either enforced or crumbled with each new information intake?

Seeing how operative our mindset is, you may wish to scream: 'Yes, I can restructure my attitudes, momentous flow of thoughts, and judgements!'

Yet, we know that to dismantle this gradually fortified assessment formula in our brains, the step-by-step deconstruction is required. Who would not be discouraged from such an 'uneasy' execution of this aimed change in our judgements?

Luckily, Mere Positive Translation Of Daily Matters Works Well As Our Stimulation Propeller

How? Take the continual process of mind 'deconstruction' versus faster process of mind 'renovation'. There is no need for you to erase your original mindset with all collected assumptions to make the desired positivity happen, do you? Just like with house renovation, define and improve desired areas towards your satisfaction. Now we see that our brain is responsible for our self-assessment, constantly shaken and reshaped by selected niche influencers. This understanding shall be notably beneficial to our mind renovation.

At this point, we shall know that there is a momentous rescue button for switching off the random whiny voice in our head; for it discourages us from taking an action. Pushing this button requires that we justify the authenticity of the whiny voice. How? By questioning its reasons and turning it into a defender of our suitability and the required action feasibility.

Next, another technique comes with a recommendation: 'likening the desire to win to the desire for avoiding the defeat'. For achieving an award is accompanied with flattering recognition in public, among family and friends; such as in Olympic Games. Whereas the defeat depicts states of despair and pain.

There is one self-improved business developer who spoke on the above 3 helpful techniques (identifying the influencers, changing the whiny voice, facing the pain) and who thus deems beneficial to incorporate the so-called competitive edge in our mindset.

He finds it a decisive factor on the way to self-improvement. At least, there can be no doubt that it revives an action-driving adrenaline, which already the nature bestowed to our cradle, in order to survive. This revival would not be needed, if it was not for the societal evolution that diminishes and turns this natural quality into 'escaping' strategies of various forms of act circumvention, such as cheating the systems or illegal frauds.

As the speaker claims, should we adopt the technique of competitive edge (adrenaline approach), focusing on positives (the relief, the recognition, the celebration, and the gate to further development in exchange for invested struggle), this positive mindset shall certainly enhance our stable countenance and sustainable self-awareness.

How cardinal is the art of visualization in your life apprehension? Probably the easiest way, to see how practical this realization could be for you, is to merely keep reminding yourself that all the momentous negativity stems from the image constructed in your head. Hopefully, you will end up laughing at your primary disillusionment, which had no objective reasons to bring you down.

The Power of Purpose (By Tina Tessina)

"Whatever your age, if you learn to listen, your inner voice will speak to you about your path," writes oncologist Dr. Bernie Siegel in Peace, Love and Healing, your 'job on earth.' This wisdom that is directing you from within is your birthright... an inner message, an inner awareness, that says, 'This is your path, this is how you can be the best human being possible.' If you follow it, you will achieve your full growth and full potential as a human being before you let go of the Tree of Life... "

I know Dr. Bernie is right, because I see the power of the inner voice daily in my clients, in my friends, and in my own life. My clients ask, "How can I access that voice, that wisdom, and get my feet started on the path?"

It's easy for any of us to get discouraged with suffering throughout the world: racial prejudice; addiction and self-destruction; political oppression in its many forms (starvation, war, torture, misinformation, imprisonment, denial of rights of speech, health and human dignity, and just plain bigotry and nastiness).

My own reaction, years ago, was despair. "I can't stand it! So much suffering! So many issues! There's nothing significant I can do." Gradually, with the help of wiser people, I came to realize that I wasn't supposed to do it ALL. I just needed to do a part. But what part? Thus I began to learn about my inner wisdom, my unique birthright, my own peculiarities and talents.

We are all unique, with different genetic mixes, different fingerprints, different gifts and personalities, so let's suppose that there must be a reason for our differences; a Plan. Included in the Plan is a special place for each of us, and we have been designed, by a Super Intelligence, for a special task within the Plan. Supposing that Plan exists, what is your part in it? What were you designed to do? What's your "job on earth"?

If you feel confused or overwhelmed by life, or if your life seems to have no meaning, no important reason for your existence, spend some time pondering the Plan. Whether you call your Source a Higher Power, Spirit, or God, try reading Its mind a little: Imagine-If you were God, and you had created the human being that is you, what would you have created such a person for? It's an interesting puzzle, and the clues are in your unique characteristics. Are you a good listener? Then maybe counseling is your intended "job". Can you explain things well? Perhaps you're being directed toward teaching something. Are you a mathematical whiz? A musician? An artist? Can you make people laugh? All of these talents can be used in unique ways to make the world a little better. For example, if you like to make people laugh, and you enjoy elderly people, perhaps entertaining, volunteering, or working in a senior citizen's center is your special place. Or if you are a survivor of abuse or illness, perhaps your "job" lies in helping others survive.

Like me, many others have found it useful to ponder solve this riddle. The clues and hints are subtle, but they exist. The secret to your life's purpose is hidden in your heart's desire. Discover that, and you discover meaning, joy and purpose. There is a Plan, and you fit within it. No one has been omitted, every small link fits. As you discover your secret mission, and join the rhythm of the Wise Plan, life begins to run itself, doubt fades, and joy becomes a more frequent companion. Try listening to your heart, and to the obvious things about you, and you'll find it works.

" 'I give you something, you know not what, enrich it, you know not how, bring it back, you know not when. And remember, I shall be watching you.' Said the Sun to the newborn child." - so children's writer P.L. Travers expresses the mystery of finding your 'job on Earth.'

"To find in ourselves what makes life worth living is risky business," writes Marsha Sinetar in Ordinary People as Monks and Mystics: "for it means that once we know it we must seek it. It also means that without it life will be valueless."

Did you know that problems with compulsive eating, substance abuse, destructive addictive relationships, and obsessive behavior are most often misguided attempts to satisfy the heart's desire?

We are such amazing miracles of creation. Within each of us is a driving force, that will NOT give up and go away. We can attempt to drown it out with loud, raucous living, to anesthetize it with food, drink or drugs, to avoid it through some zealotry or other, to run from it by being frantically busy, to ignore it by working obsessively, to be too overwhelmed drama and agony to notice it; but as soon as the unavoidable quiet moment happens, there it is, urging us on. Often, people misread this uncomfortable inner restlessness and call it "fear" or "loneliness", but it is only the call of the heart. Until we acknowledge it, it will not allow us to be at peace. Believe it or not, our hearts are filled with purpose and meaning, and will constantly press us to discover our true desire and act upon it.

A spectrum is a wide range of something, like the colors light creates when beamed through a prism. A rainbow. My rainbow, the one I want to share with all of you, is the warrior rainbow. It's the wide range of people who are willing to face their own fear and anger, to brave the terrors of the inner deep, to challenge the naysayers and the criticizers, because they know how important it is to be who they really are. It's a broad spectrum of people, all colors, orientations, beliefs and experiences. Nothing elaborate is required to take your place in the warrior rainbow-just the courage to be you-to face your fears, to believe in yourself, to be willing to fight where you can, while remembering a rainbow warrior always takes prudent risks-self-destruction is not encouraged.

I find that many people who come to me for counseling are "autophobic" - afraid of themselves. They are afraid of feeling emotion, afraid of being forced to be alone with themselves, afraid to find out what is actually inside them. It actually comes down to fearing the power within. We run very fast, in an attempt to escape who we are.

"If the person insists on a certain program, and doesn't listen to the demands of his own heart, he's going to risk a schizophrenic crackup," warned philosopher Joseph Campbell. "Such a person has... aligned himself with a program for life, and it's not the one the body's interested in at all. The world is full of people who have stopped listening to themselves or have listened only to their neighbors to learn what they ought to do, how they ought to behave, and what the values are that they should be living for... my analysis... is that we would rather feel alive than be alive. Sometimes it kills you, to feel so alive out there on a battlefield somewhere, or in a corporate environment where it's quite clear that you're heading for a heart attack, and you don't change your course because you are living in that stream of energy and aliveness. You wind up bargaining your life away for it."

Reading through the wisdom of the ages, I have come across this advice time and time again. Humankind's greatest teachers insist that the costs of denying your heart's desire are far greater than anything that could happen by following it. Every time my clients overcome their reluctance to know who they are, they release an inner power that transforms their lives.

What better time to become a rainbow warrior than now? Here's Dr. Campbell's advice about how to begin: "You must have a room, or a certain hour or so a day, where you don't know what was in the newspapers that morning, you don't know who your friends are, you don't know what you owe anybody, you don't know what anybody owes to you... a place where you can simply experience and bring forth what you are and what you might be... the place of creative incubation... if you have a sacred place and use it, something eventually will happen... Where is your bliss station? You have to try to find it. Get a phonograph and put on the music that you really love, even if it's corny music that nobody else respects. Or get the book you like to read. In your sacred place you get the "thou" feeling of life... for the whole world... if you follow your bliss you put yourself on a track that has been there all the while, waiting for you, and the life that you ought to be living is the one you are living. When you can see that, you begin to meet people who are in the field of your bliss, and they open the doors to you. I say, follow your bliss and don't be afraid, and doors will open where you didn't know they were going to be."

I invite you to get acquainted with your heart's desire, join me in a resolution to surrender, to slow down and find out what is inside, straining to get out, longing to make contact with you. Make a "sacred space" for yourself, and spend a little time in it, at first reading or listening to music, and little by little listening to your heart. Perhaps it will change your life, as it has so many others. God has already blessed us, every one.

Here Are The Advantages of Reading Motivational Quotes

One of the greatest motivational speaker Tony Robbins once said, "In life, you need either inspiration or desperation."

Just as harsh as it sounds, the truth is that we all are desperate in our lives. Desperate to become happy. Desperate to be at peace. Desperate to succeed.

And has this desperation taken us anywhere good? Don't think so! Stress, anxiety, depression are common to us. So, if a few words can motivate you to find relief, the question is why not? If a few words can boost your morale, the question is why not? Motivational quotes have an important role to play in our lives.

If you are still not convinced about the power of motivational quotes, here are a few advantages that will convince you otherwise.

Motivational Quotes Simplify Complex Ideas

"Sometimes you have to give yourself pep talks"

No offence to anyone, but hours of lecture on motivation can be boring. Compiling the ideas together into a book that features self-improvement quotes has a greater appeal. One simple quote can express ten different ideas without boring you out. In fact, a single quote can have more positive implications on a person downtrodden with negative thoughts than long lectures and presentations.

It is easy to remember them (and use for daily references)

"Life is a one-time offer, use it well!"

Incantations are extremely powerful. When you keep repeating the same thing again and again, your subconscious mind becomes aware of it. And once you penetrate the deep wall of your subconscious mind, your brain will work according to it. Since encouraging quotes are easy to remember, you can keep reminding yourself of the same to guide you, and get a result that is effectively positive.

These are the most effective inspirational tools

"It is always the simple that produces the marvelous" - Amelia Barr

Whether you are depressed or stressed, feeling low or just blank, a little motivation can never help. While there are different types of inspirational tools, a motivational quotes book is the most effective one out there. Reading those arousing words can help you channel your negative emotions and deal with them constructively.

They help share POVs

"We may encounter many defeats but we must not be defeated." - Maya Angelou

You are not alone! Somewhere someone has been experiencing the same problems as you. And a piece of advice from such a person, with whom you will never meet, but share a wonderful connection of hearts is the best gift for you. So, the nest time you fuss and fret over an issue, search for a quote as such. You will be at ease!

You can find them everywhere

We live in a world that is primarily controlled by the internet (and let us not focus on the cons for once; let us use this gift as a source of all things good as well). And the fact is that encouraging life quotes are easier to come across than finding tickets to lectures. They are free of cost and scattered in abundance all over the internet. Be it Facebook or Instagram, Twitter or Pinterest, you will find one perfectly suiting your temperament easily available. And you should definitely be taking advantage of that!

Motivational Quotes help you move forward

"Push yourself because no one else is going to do it for you."

Inspirational quotes remind you to move forward in life. That is self-explanatory! When you feel stuck somewhere, stuck in the past, recycling the old memories, one right quote can motivate you to get up and, move past your past regrets and have a fresh approach to life. Motivation quotes are the support you will ever need.

Because motivational quotes push you to take actions

"Thoughts Become Words, Words Become Actions, Actions Become Who You Are"

You think, you plan but fail to take an initiative. An inspirational quote can help you take that action which you were failing to take. These quotes remind you to take action, not just reflect your life with empty words. That should be enough to help you get up and get going.

Motivational Quotes act like a coach

Be it, Zig Ziglar, Tony Robbins or Nick Vujicic, these people have provided us with ample of inspirational quotes to move forth in life and achieve our dreams. Since they are not available for a session physically, reading their pieces of motivation can act as the perfect guide in your life.

So, stop contemplating and start reading!

This is no time to whine. So what you failed your exam? So what your boss doesn't appreciate you? So what life is unfair? Pick a motivational quote, get ample of encouragement, put your act together and walk forth. Always remember-

"Never let a stumble be the end of your journey"

Reading the motivational books make you indulge more and more towards the content and help you relate with your life's definition. We all need motivation in our life to fulfill all our dreams and aspirations and look at the life from a new window.

The Big Joke

Woman Lacing Up Her Gray and Pink Nike Low-top Athletic Shoe

All right self-help and self-improvement lovers, here is the joke and punch line in one sentence: We are the cause of our own problems and our own solutions. Now, I am going to take the rest of this article to explain the joke, punch line and position.

Our effects all come from a cause, right? Yes. That cause is within us however we may try to look at it. When we look at effects as stand alone causes without causes, nothing can be solved. When we look at effects, from the standpoint of "we caused them ourselves", something can always genuinely be done to improve the situation.

Today, and every day, I realize that my attitude genuinely makes my reality work or not work. What I mean by this is: Whatever happens with me or to me, my attitude is the currency that gets me through it or holds me back. Sure, we can all "make money" if we really want to through normal efforts. But the 'amazing effort' comes with changing our thoughts and causes genuinely for the better even when all evidence says otherwise. Think about it, anyone can get angry and retaliate, but it takes a strong soul to genuinely think it out and do what is genuinely right at the right time instead of blaming effects. Indeed, the cause is where it is at.

Sometimes, I just want to let out a scream when something goes really wrong or at least complain a bit. Mostly, I just look at the cause and say to myself after the musings or whatever: "This is a slip, not a fall, start over with a little more experience." Now, I am not perfect or ideal by any means, but for the most part, I would rather approach things with this attitude rather than blame effects.

Sometimes, in the spirit of complaint, I talk "angrily" to my Mother about the effects around me "just for the fun of it" without meaning a word of it (and she knows it, and "she in a sounding board way lets me blow off the steam"), but inside I realize the causes and concentrate on them and let the emotions go through me without meaning any genuine thing or affecting me. In reality, I concentrate on the cause and let the "chips of effect" fall where they may. If the effect is bad, I start over, if the effect is good, I continue on with my path. My point is, failure and bad effects are a bad joke, only good effects and realities count. If you are reading this with honest, sincere seriousness, you are ready. If you file it under "The musings of a silly man about real life", you are not ready. Either way, you chose a path. Either way, you get it. One path is longer, and one path is shorter. One path is harder and less successful, one path is easier and more successful. Either way:

"When everything seems to be going against you, remember that the airplane takes off against the wind, not with it."
"If you think you cannot do a thing, or if you think you can, you are right."
Both of the quotes here are generally attributed to automobile industrialist Henry Ford.

What Do I Do With My Fear?

Two Woman and One Man Looking at the Laptop

Self-improvement can start when I set a specific goal for myself, which I wish to achieve within a finite time frame. The first requirements are commitment and continuity. The volume of enthusiasm I show in the initial stages evaporates with time. Once I lose that steam, I slow down. But my expectations of getting quicker results might force me to take shortcuts which eventually fail. Frustration often makes me change goals, hoping to find an easier and softer one. That doesn't happen anyway. Now I become cynic, negative and wither away. What exactly is ailing me?

Present continuous - Key to progress

"I have achieved many things in the past. I have many years of experience in my field. I have been the best player in my field". This negative approach blocks my progress. "I have always failed in the past. I am a failure now. I am sure I will fail in the future". This approach is sure to land me in a state of psychological and emotional paralysis.

Acceptance

Acceptance of my present state with no prejudice is perhaps the first step to self-improvement. I need to make a list of my strengths, limitations, and liabilities. The first parameter could be imagination, innovation, focus, hard work, smart work, etc. My limitations could be related to my grammar, sentence formation, thinking speed, logic, etc. My liabilities could be related to inconsistency, intolerance, procrastination, denial, blaming, etc. Identification of these factors could give me a reality listing.

One Step at a Time

No matter I choose to run, brisk walk or slow walk, I take only one step at a time. My first focus is preferably on my strengths. By focusing on my hardworking, I can reduce inconsistency and procrastination.

Having realistic goals is very important for me. I can know about my achievable goals for "one day" when I analyze my previous performance and take the average. I focus all my efforts to achieve that goal. It takes time and patience. Persistence is not easy. It needs constant effort to stay in the present and work consistently. Today I might achieve only 30% of my target. But as I see, this is better than zero. In my next step, I focus on getting 50% of the expected results. I might end up at 35% or 40%. This process continues until I can reach my goals fully.

In the next step, I try to achieve my goals within the 24 hours span. I may get 30% success. I continue without worrying too much about results. I can realize them with time, without my being conscious of them.

Fear is My Best Friend

Fear has two distinct flavors, realistic and unrealistic. The first type is related to anything that could cause harm to me. If I don't work, I won't get paid. This realistic fear makes me work hard. Unrealistic fear is born out of uncertainty and confusion. "What if I fall sick tomorrow? What if I don't get orders tomorrow? What if my customers don't pay me for my work? What if I lose my consistency? What if my work quality goes down? What if I fail?" are some of the unrealistic fears I might have. I need to make a list of them. I might not be able to categorize them right now. Soon the serenity will dawn on me if I accept these fears.

When I understand my fears, I can learn how to live with them. I have heard of many people talking about freedom from fear. I have not been able to get that sense of freedom, at least not in the long run. My fear-factor is something that keeps coming back in one or the other form. My personal experience is I could not fight them. I couldn't even run away from my fears. So I took them as my friends and started learning from them.

Action is the Key

Whenever I have to face the fear of failure, I get up and start working. Slowly fear takes the backseat. It doesn't go away. But at least it won't dominate my thoughts. If I am afraid to my apartment owner (When I am unable to clear bills), I talk to him and borrow time. Meanwhile, I start working on what is required to earn money and pay the bill.

Psychological factors can affect my thinking ability to the greatest extent. Peer pressure, competition, survival, sustenance, and progress keep haunting my mind consistently. I get bogged down by my own stress factors. I have written this article in the first person so it doesn't sound like an advice. Personally speaking, nobody might like to be advised. By using the first person I hope I could create a better sense of relevance to the readers. What I have written here comes from my personal experience.

You Are The Secret To Your Own Prosperity

In truth, you are the secret to your own prosperity, but to realize it, you have to understand a fact: life has strange ways. If you took all the money in the world, divided it equally among everybody, it would soon all be back in the same pockets as it was before it was shared. So how can you change the odds?
Could you change the cards you have been dealt with? How can you transform it? What should you do? Is it possible?

Most people struggle with personal growth and self-improvement as it is challenging lifetime pursuit. It is hard for people to give up their blame list because it is always easier to blame things or circumstances around them than oneself. And making a transition is often hard for anyone to do.

You have to realize that it is not what happens that determine the major parts of your future because what happens, is going on for all of us. Rather, the key is what you do about it. So, to create your own prosperity, you have to start the process of change by doing something different.

Prosperity is something you attract, not something you pursue. Instead of going after it, you should work on yourself and success and wealth would soon follow. You have to set goals for yourself which are a thing no school, college or university teaches you.

The perspectives and thinking you adapt, shape your life, and when you change your perspective, you can create an immediate shift in your own prosperity, life and job or business. To create success in whatever endeavor, you must always look for ways to sharpen your outlook.

Change Yourself to Change Your Prosperity

Since you cannot change your circumstances to get your ideal of prosperity, you have to begin doing things differently with the same conditions. You need to transform yourself and what you do. Learn to take responsibility instead of putting it on someone else.

I know it is a challenging mission, but if you change, everything will change for you. You do not have to alter your outer personality, but rather your inner nature. Do not wish for things to get easier, wish for you to become better. You have to want the desire for more skills, not fewer problems.

"To have more, you have simply to become more" - Jim Rohn
If you begin working on yourself and making all these changes, prosperity will change for you. To have better, you need to get better. It is a simple formula and yet, many struggles with it. You should be able to figure out where the problems are to work on them.

Increase Your Value to Increase Your Prosperity

Prosperity includes many benefits but one often comes out more than others, and it is 'finances.' The key to understanding economics is that you get paid for bringing value to the marketplace, also described as the real world. It takes time to provide value to this market, but you have to realize that you do not get paid for time.

Let's say you make twenty dollars an hour, well, it is somewhat not true because if it was, you could just stay home and get your money. So you do not get paid for the hours, but for the value, you put in the time you use.

It is a great psychological prosperity trait which I have read, heard and learned from the business thinker, Jim Rohn. So is it possible for you to become two or three times as valuable as you now are, and make two or three times as much money within the same time?

Of course, it is, and yet, this code of belief goes against the mold of what schools teach, or how most of us are raised, and what media depicts to the general public. So to build your own prosperity, you have to increase your value, it is that simple. And if you do understand this great attitude and apply it to your life, you will improve, develop and ripen a considerable benefit over those who do not.

Improve Your Skills to Improve Your Success

People often do not do much to upgrade their skills or value but rather blame the economy, their job or the state of their scarcity of income. If somebody is happy for making minimum wage, then they will always remain at the bottom because it is the value they are bringing into the market place.

It is a pitiful way to live! Start something and not grow, change or become more valuable. Why does someone get one million dollars a year while others make only fifty thousand? Well, it is quite simple. That person has become more valuable to the marketplace than the other.

Of course, I must make a distinction. The one who has a low revenue might be a good relative, friend, or member of the community which is a different kind of prosperity. It is a fact that if you do not improve your skills to develop your value, your success and prosperity level will remain the same.

That is why wealthy and prosperous people get paid so much, but I have great news for you: it has become an equal playing ground. Nowadays, information is accessible and free almost everywhere. So it is up to you to decide how valuable you want to become, what is your definition of prosperity and how much you want to pay forward to others. Quite simple, isn't it?

Turn Your Life Around to Better Your Prosperity

Do not wait for a raise as it is easier to climb the ladder. To be able to prosper, you must continually discover ways become more valuable. You have to create your own prosperity by sharpening your skills, learning better methods through resources and always trying to better yourself.

When you want more money, you have to earn it by bringing more value to your job, business or customers. You have the ability to create more prosperity and happiness if you do understand this small step. You can always turn your life around to better your wealth.

"Learn to work harder on yourself than you do on your job. If you work hard on your job, you can make a living, but if you work hard on yourself, you'll make a fortune." - Jim Rohn
You need to work on yourself. Strive to become a better person. Be different instead of comparing yourself to others. How can you become more valuable and change your prosperity? By learning new things, improve on stuff you know and be better at everything you do.

Tips to Offer More Value and Increase Prosperity

Do something that provides more value for you to change your current income level. Here are some tips to increase your prosperity and bring you value so you can get better than others.

  • Learn to work harder on yourself than on your job.
  • Be an expert by choosing a specialized area. Study your trade and learn from others.
  • Become efficient by learning how you get done what needs to get done.
  • Have an awareness of knowing your strong points and what you are best at doing.
  • Be productive in knowing what and how much you get done to increase prosperity.
  • Get a vision by having something you see that others do not, like a bigger picture.
  • Create a mastermind by surrounding yourself with people you can learn from to get more value.
  • Get a good reputation through what others know and think about you.
  • Become an influence by persuading others to get things done.
  • Acquire a popularity status by understanding how well your colleagues or audience see you.
  • Have a great personality by treating others as well as how you want to them to treat you.
  • Get the right attitude to grow your prosperity by taking care of yourself and others.

If you work harder on yourself than on your job, then there will be no limits to your prosperity and success in whatever you do. It is time for you to take responsibility for your financial well-being. So, commit now to become more valuable and better your own prosperity. Remember you are in control regardless of the external circumstances surrounding you.

Making Decisive Choices for Self-Improvement

Woman Wearing Yellow Button-up Long-sleeved Dress Shirt

Are you taking action to improve your feeling of achievement in life?

Today in the area of human development, we are finding more reasons to focus on words as they apply to our lives. The word achievement is one that connects to feelings and emotions often spanning a lifetime. One can feel achieved, but be worried about offending others at the same time. On the other hand, someone may appear to feel achieved, and secretly feel deflated. The choice is yours, and the one change you can make in your life is to take action faster.

Ideas are presented to the subconscious mind and while there, they attempt to get your attention. As an idea grows inside of you, there are a few feelings you will notice. First of all, you will go "Wow that is a great idea". Or, you may just shun the idea away from you and take no action at all. To feel achieved, it is so important that you recognize the times when an idea came to you, you said YES and positive results became evident to you.

Human development and self-improvement continue to reign supreme in the world of developmental skills and new platforms for improving esteem. What chances can you take today that will speed up your feeling of achievement? I would like to share a few ways in which I use techniques in human development to improve my life.

Emotional Intelligence is one area of human development that is gaining momentum in the workplace, relationships and career choices. One of the skills you can practice is in tapping your intuition and hunches as they relate to situations or people. Your emotional intelligence level will support you in creating more balance in all you do.

Neuroscience and Self-Development is another unique area you may want to explore in feeling achievement in your life. The brain has so much to offer in the area of emotions and reactions. Knowing how and why you feel the way you do in different situations is key to totally understanding how to feel good about your life.

Emotional Freedom Technique is another skill you can master to fully expand your life experience. Using energy meridians to tap with your fingers, you can release old emotions that may have attached to the lack of feeling achieved. When you do this enough, with powerful affirmations, you start to shift the focus of your mind from defeated to empowered.

5 Self Improvement Tips for Personal Power, Peak Performance and Prosperity

I believe that, ultimately, we all want peace and fulfillment more than anything else.

Of course, there are other things we want. And truth is, we must actualize some of these other things if we are to attain deep and lasting peace.

Of course, fulfillment itself comes primarily, if not exclusively, from actualizing our other needs, such as the need for growth, contribution, stimulation and mattering.

All of these things mean we must master our mindset - our beliefs, habitual thoughts and expectations. We must be committed to personal development. Only if we are developing personally will our lives develop materially.

Here are five tips to create greater peace, motivation and mindset mastery.

1. Accept only self-compassion and positive self-talk.

This is a tough one. Most of us engage in self-flagellation, to one degree or another. This emanates from our belief-set; our mindset.

Make an active and habitual practice to seek out and compliment yourself on your skills, virtues and wins.

Habitually recognize, praise and congratulate yourself, as you would a child you love.

Seriously. Make a conscious, active and habitual practice of this. You will be amazed at how this practice alone will massively change your habitual mindset, feelings and emotions. Increasing your state of being, motivation, joy and fulfillment.

At the end of each day, make a list of three to five things you did well. Also add one thing you will do better next time. Always keep the ratio skewed at least 3 to 1 towards the positive.

2. Never compare yourself to others.

We all have our own path, our own brain, mind and personality. Another's path has no bearing whatsoever on our validity, ability or journey - other than in the empowering lessons we can take from their lives.

Learn from others, but don't ever compare yourself to others.

Use lessons from others for personal development and success. But never compare yourself to another.

Believe in yourself. Be aware of and grateful for your strengths, while determined to constantly grow and improve.

3. Accept, even celebrate, that life will absolutely have disappointments and pain. They are the fuel to self improvement.

We all want to grow. To figure things out. And to matter. We all want to create and experience personal success.

Success equals change. Positive change. Growth.

If WE aren't growing and developing, our lives cannot grow and develop.

When do we grow most? Heck, for most of us, most of the time, when do we grow at all?

When we experience obstacles, disappointments and pain. When we hit setbacks, which fuel motivation and determination to change and make things better. And only when we change for the better do our results change for the better.

Hack your mind to revel in obstacles, disappointments and, yes, even pain. Know that they are not permanent. Nor are they an indication of any lack on your part. See and feel them and beautiful opportunities to take advantage of and accelerate personal development. They bring us closer to being the person and success for which we are destined.

4. There is no failure, but in failing to begin or failing to continue.

I passionately believe this to be true. Whatever our outcomes, we only fail in not trying or giving up.

Stay true to your ultimate purpose, mission and vision and adjust your strategies and tactics as wisdom dictates.

Changing direction isn't necessarily failure or negative. Don't give up on your dream, but do stay true to your soul. If you are truly meant for a path other than the current one you placed yourself on, accept that and move passionately onto the new path.

Be generous, loving, kind and compassionate with yourself. Have and hold yourself to high standards, but with loving compassion and optimism that you will capitalize on and prevail in all circumstances. Treat yourself with the love, patience and compassion a wise altruistic elder would treat the beautiful soul of a child.

5. Love yourself. Believe you are perfect. But that you will become more perfect each day and that the journey is never over.

Keep this self-image. Constantly love, support, praise and humor yourself as you would the child or friend you most love or as you would be loved and supported by a loving, more seasoned and wiser person who would love you.

But also keep the thirst for personal development and success burning within. We are all works in process. Perfect as we are today, but driven to an even higher level of perfection today and tomorrow.

There you have it. Five habitual practices that will help bring you all you are after: Love, peace, prosperity, growth, stimulation and, probably, anything else your soul desires.

Cheers friends.

What do you want more of? Money? Career growth? Fulfillment?

As they say: "to get something we've never had, we must do something we've never done."

There is definite science & art to prosperity & success.

How To Work With The Law of Attraction

Millions of people have been hearing about the latest and greatest ways to help with their daily life. If you have been looking at self-improvement, then you may have heard about the Law of Attraction. This is a set of principles that state you can bring about powerful energy from your mind, and spread it across the intangible world. When you spread your energy to the world, you can literally attract a response that is going to help you out completely. That can be seen as prosperity, healthy living, and so much more. There's a beauty to this that many people are attracted to, and it's taking off in a whole new way. How do you work with this? Well, it's a matter of learning the defining lines and then moving forward to attract great things.

Writing Down What You're Focused Upon

Before you can work with the law of attraction, you must first assess where you are and where you want to go. This is a very important tool for moving forward. When you write down the things that you are stumbling over, or perhaps the things that are weighing heavy on your shoulders, you'll start to see that you need to change. You cannot change anything if you don't know that something is wrong. Start to work on this, and list things out on a piece of paper so that you can start to progress in changing them.

Meditation (Breathing)

There are several ways that you can focus on this, but most often than not, you're going to be looking to learn how to breathe right. Breathing exercises can help with stimulating your mind's eye, calming down your anxiety, and give you a certain level of power to change things that are difficult. When stress manifests, breathing slowly can help you gain control over the things that are around you. Within the confines of meditation, you can send positive energy to you, and away from you, giving you an attractive element that could very well change your life forever.

Exercising With A Purpose

Another way to start working with the law of attraction is to exercise. Not just any option, look at moving your body around so that you can release stress, engage energy levels, and focus on changing your body for the better. When you exercise with a purpose, you're going to be clearing your mind and inviting change to take root. This is a great thing, and will showcase a great deal of beauty over time.

At the end of the day, working with this notion of attraction is about self-improvement. When you start to give yourself the tools that change your daily routine, you will start to manifest positive things. As long as you continually work on evolving with your daily routine, and happiness, you'll end up with a lot of great things overall. There are a lot of amazing things in life, and if you just pursue them, from the inside out, you'll start to gain access to the keys of success across your entire life.

The POINTS Of Knowing Yourself

How can anyone, become the best, he might, possibly be, until/ unless, he does, all he can, to know himself better, in an honest, introspective, objective manner? Whether this refers to one's career, profession, aspirations, etc, or simply, an attempt at self - improvement, it must begin, with identifying, enhancing, and focusing, on, the POINTS of truly, knowing, one's self. With this in mind, this article will briefly attempt to examine, consider, and discuss, using the mnemonic approach, some of what this means and represents, and why.

1. Personal strengths (versus weaknesses): While it's important to set goals, priorities, and aspirations, you can't become the best, you can be, until/ unless, you become capable of being objectively introspective, and identifying, both, your personal strengths, as well as areas of weakness. This must be used effectively, so you begin to properly, effectively use your strengths, to best advantage, while admitting, and addressing your weaknesses, by proceeding with the inner fortitude, to focus on becoming better!

2. Organized; options; opportunities; offer: Never proceed in a haphazard manner, but commit, to proceeding in an organized, focused way! There are generally multiple options and alternatives, and one must select, the best course of action, for him, to take, which might best align, with his strengths and abilities. Be prepared to take advantage of the opportunities, which present themselves, by knowing how to recognize them, and having the quality judgment, to make the best choice. Always ask yourself, what you have to offer!

3. Integrity; intentions; interests: Differentiate yourself from the masses, by maintaining your commitment to proceeding, with absolute integrity, especially when some shortcut, might seem convenient! Unless you do so, how will you ever, truly respect yourself? Know your interests, and why, and be certain of your intentions, consistently.

4. Nurturing; needs; notice: How will you align your personal needs, with the best way, to proceed? Will you maintaining a nurturing attitude/ behavior, which will motivate and inspire others, and attract them, to you, in an inspiring way? Will you notice and observe, all the necessary idiosyncracies?

Accept Who You Are

What is self-acceptance? How do you accept yourself? When you discover yourself, do you just stay like that? Well, these are the questions that an individual asks him or herself. Many people don't accept for who they are. And most of these people end up being failures.

Let us first describe what self-acceptance is. Self-acceptance involves accepting your weakness and negative habits. But the question is, do you accept and do nothing about your weaknesses or attitude? Do you give in to your laziness and look for excuses for leaving everything as it is? Well when you accept yourself and not doing any improvement to improve your habits, then that is not technically self-acceptance.

Self-acceptance.
Many people don't usually understand the term self-acceptance. The term self-acceptance itself is not well explained either. In self-acceptance, accepting yourself is only the first step of the long journey of self-improvement. Just acceptance does not contribute to any self-progress and self-improvement in any way. A point to be duly noted is that you do not accept your fate or life as it is.

Weaknesses habits
You must first become aware of your weaknesses habits and your personality. You must look at yourself as you currently are. After you have accepted who you are, then you begin to put yourself in a better or improved position, unlike the current one you are in.

Knowing yourself

knowing yourself opens the doors of possibilities of your capabilities. Through that, then you can devise ways to improve yourself. Self-improvement requires the understanding and deeply knowing your character; habits quit the comparisons you make of yourself with other people and knowing your capabilities or the lack of them. Doing this will comfort you by getting rid of guilt, bring about happiness and lightness

I accept myself as I am
"This is who I am. I accept myself as I am. I take my failure, my fate, my achievements and this is how it will always be". This is just an excuse that many people make to feel better because of maybe constant failings or regular unpleasant occurrences. The first thing that should be noted is that these deficiencies happen because of not genuinely engaging yourself or self-assessment.

No one is a failure or a disappointment. All it takes is for a person to know his or her personality, habit, character and failures then, start building from there. Then initiate the improvement process. Sooner or later, you will be amazed at what you can do.
