Message From the Universe: Look at the Big Picture

"Ever notice how when someone dreams of happiness, abundance, health, romance, or friendship, they never have to wonder if it's in their best interest?

But when someone dreams of a specific house, employer, love interest, deadline, dollar amount, or diet fad, they often end up contradicting themselves?

Keep your "end results" general. Everything else is just a how.

To the big picture,
The Universe"

In many of my posts, I claim to be very specific with the Universe when it comes to what you want in life. You need to imagine how you want your life to be, as well as the type of job you always dreamed off, or the type of man or woman you want in life. By being specific with these requests, you may start wondering if you do deserve that wealth or find that significant other. He or she may be out of your league, depending on what you wish for. Sometimes and in some cases, you may just leave it to the Universe to handle the "how" it will happen, even if your own dreams may scare you at times because of how big they may be. Don't fret it. It is important to just plant the seeds in your mind and let it be. Besides watering your plants on a daily basis with positive thoughts, there is really nothing else you can do. Time is on your side, so let things happen the way they are suppose to. You are in control of how you think and the Universe will render the rest. Just keep faith that the "hows" are not really your responsibility.

Once you start accepting this, you will see things changing quickly. You will look at things happening around you differently. The Universe will listen to your thoughts, even though they happen 6 to 8 months ago. Perpetual positive thoughts are more likely to happen then of those that are just random. It's easier to remember the truth than a lie right? So keep on being positive, keep on focusing on the good things happening even when you are feeling down. Everything can get much worst when facing with challenges. Whatever comes your way should be dealt the best way you can and hope for the best. The rest is totally out of your control. However, if you have trust in yourself and in the Universe that things will change in a positive way, you will see start understanding the mechanics of how the world works and how you can control the outcome of everything that could happen in your life. Do not be afraid to be assertive and ask for what you want. Being specific is good, but unless you have a gadget like the movie of the 80's "Weird Science" and can create a woman or man based on your exact requirements out of a computer, then you are out of luck but trust me that the Universe can provide you with most of all your wishes.

Message From the Universe: Keep Looking at the BIG Picture!

"TOGA! TOGA! TOGA!

What, you think the Universe doesn't have toga parties?

Believe me, here it never ends!

The homecoming parties are really crazy! Old loves and friendships are rekindled and spontaneous enlightenment is passed around like, well, like you know what. But then, there are the other parties... whoooeeee! Real hoedowns for the most brilliant, radiant, and illuminated souls in our midst! Fearless beings willing to further the collective consciousness by delving into a kaleidoscope of emotions. Embarking upon the greatest adventure ever imagined into the sacred, hallowed jungles of time and space, where illumination is taken to dazzling new levels and salvation guaranteed, not for what they might do with their lives, but for simply seeing them through. These... are the Bon Voyage parties!

We owe you BIG,
The Universe"

Why think small when you can reach for the moon? If you are putting so much energy into thinking positive, don;'t hesitate into thinking beyond what your mind can imagine or believe. Thinking BIG dreams might be scary, I agree with you on that one. Many would be afraid of looking at the big picture because it can be overwhelming at times, and once you cross that thought process, and understand the requirements of the BIG picture, you will not let yourself get overwhelmed and stressed about it. Everything will come into place and the piece of the puzzle will get together to form that perfect image of your dream. Focus on the small steps and walk them well. Once you have reached the first mile, go for the next and the next after that. Never be afraid of walking the unknown, and avoid following the crowd, they don't always bring you to your destination. Many will be afraid of the unknown, not sure of what's on the other side and will prefer staying in their cocoon rather than potentially experience something greater in their lives. Nothing is for sure in life, and there is always a possibility for failure. But what is the alternate choice? Not doing anything? Avoid taking chances? Afraid of exploring new things because fear have taken over your soul? You should decide what is your best option and take action. Whatever the outcome, you can feel proud that you have made the decision by yourself and can assume the responsibilities of that decision. No one can take that away from you.

No one can accurately predict what will happen tomorrow, next week or next month. Learn to live life TODAY and appreciate what you already have. There is no need to worry about what will come tomorrow, or if you will have that promotion, or meet that right person, or graduate school Suma Cum Laude or whatever else you are trying to seek. If you put the effort and energy in everything you do, the Universe will somewhat take care of the how's it will all happen. Miraculously, without even you knowing how it all happened, events will render the results that you've been expecting, which can also be associated with premonition, without it being a prediction. Yes, it is somewhat contradictory to what really exist in this world, but some power from above is looking down and understands your belief and commitment to making a better life for yourself and the people around you. Just keep on moving forward, focus on what's in front of you and do not look back. There is never anything good when looking into the past, except for good memories.

7 Habits Of Highly Resilient People

We all have those weeks where it seems like everything is going wrong at once. Relationship drama, a bad review at work, unnerving health symptoms. But, you've been through rocky periods before, and you've always made it through.
Rather than focusing on the bad, think about the most determined people you know, and channel their strength. Then, turn that inspiration into action by implementing these seven habits of folks who persevere towards their purpose and get things done.
1. They focus on the big picture.
The thing about hitting rock bottom is that there's nowhere to go but up. Step away from the situation and take the macro perspective. This rough patch is a bump in the road, not the end of the road.
2. They find meaning in the mess.
Failure is one of the best learning experiences you can have. It teaches you what didn't work, so you can find what does. It's proof you can recover, making the next risk you consider seem less scary. And, it makes your successes feel that much more meaningful. Make your struggles worthwhile by learning from them.
3. They take it one day at a time.

The situation you're dealing with probably won't be fully resolved in a day. But, breaking the necessary steps into smaller chunks will make it seem much less daunting. When you start to feel anxious, repeat the mantra, "One task at a time, one day at a time." Making a list and crossing off the steps you've completed as you go will give you a calming sense of accomplishment.
4. They welcome change.

A lot of us fear change, simply because it is unknown. But, every change occurs for a reason. It's up to you to find the opportunity in metamorphosis. If you have to move, it's an opportunity to create a new circle of friends. If your relationship ends, it's a chance to prioritize yourself again. If your company downsizes, it creates space for you to pursue your dream job. Receive change as an opportunity to improve your life, and it will be.
5. They've learned the power of surrender.
If your car begins to skid or hydroplane, the best way to correct your course is to turn into the skid. It might feel counterintuitive, but the same is true of difficult situations in life. Recognize what is in your power and what is not. Take the action you can, and then let go. Recognizing that you can't fix everything is one of the most liberating experiences in life.
Sometimes when facing difficult situations, all you can do is surrender.
6. They turn inward.
Victor Frankl said,
“When we are no longer able to change a situation, we are challenged to change ourselves.”

Rather than struggle to change the external situation you're facing, why not work from the inside out? Check in with your emotions, focus your mind, and center yourself spiritually. Every challenge is an opportunity to become a better version of yourself.
7. They see hope in adversity.
The people who most inspire us in life are the ones who stick to their principles, swing for the fences, and never let their circumstances define them. If you can change your perspective to focus on the benefits of a negative situation, the situation itself is transformed into something good.
"The greatest glory in living lies not in never falling, but in rising every time we fall.” -Oliver Goldsmith

3 Ways to Stay Motivated and Keep Moving Forward

Stop rationalizing, stop stewing. Get up out of your chair and start doing.

We too frequently become adept at pointing out our flaws and identifying failures. We need to become equally adept at citing our achievements. We have to be willing to say to ourselves, I’m on the right road. I’m doing OK. I’m succeeding.
How do we change our mindset from fault-finding and uninspiring to one that’s positive and motivating? Here are three ways to stay motivated:

1. Chart your progress.

Identify things you are doing now that you weren’t doing one month ago… six months ago… a year ago. What habits have changed?
Doing well once or twice is relatively easy. Continuously moving ahead is tough, in part, because we so easily revert to old habits and former lifestyles. So give yourself regular feedback to monitor your performance and reinforce yourself positively. Don’t wait for an award ceremony, promotion, friend or mentor to show appreciation for your work. Take pride in your own efforts on a daily basis.

2. Keep the end result in sight.

Always see the big picture of the ultimate goal you’re working for and the benefits that come with it.
During World War II, parachutes were being constructed by the thousands. From the workers point of view, the job was tedious and repetitive. It involved crouching over a sewing machine eight to 10 hours a day, stitching endless lengths of colorless fabric. The result was a seamless heap of cloth. But every morning the workers were reminded that each stitch was part of a life-saving operation. As they sewed, they were asked to think that this might be the parachute worn by their husband, brother or son. Although the work was hard and the hours long, the women and men on the assembly line understood their contribution to the larger picture.
The same should be true with your work. Each thing you do benefits someone, something—the lives and well-being of adults and children throughout the world, not just generally, but specifically. These are the visions that drive us through tedious details to the top.

3. Set up a dynamic daily routine.

Getting into a positive routine or groove, instead of a negative rut, will help you become more effective. Why is the subway the most energy efficient means of transportation? Because it runs on a track.
Think of the order in your day, instead of the routine. Order is not sameness, neatness or everything exactly in its place. Order is not taking on more than you can manage, without still being able to do what you really choose. Order is the opposite of complication; it’s simplification. Order is not wasting a lot of time trying to find things. Order is avoiding a lot of recriminations because you didn’t do something you promised. Order is setting an effective agenda with others so neither of you is disappointed. Order is doing in a day what you set out to do. Order frees you up. Get into the swing of a healthy, daily routine and discover how much more control you’ll gain in your life.
