Enthusiasm - How to Find It

Woman Surrounded by Sunflowers Raising Hand

How keen are you to get up in the morning and follow your ordinary day? Have you the enthusiasm needed to do what is fulfilling and good?

"Nothing great was ever achieved without enthusiasm". (Ralph Waldo Emerson, philosopher)

With inspiration, and the enthusiasm that goes along with it, we have energy for living life to the full, no matter what obstacles and hardships it throws in our faces.

What can one do to feel enthusiasm for what one does each and every day?

Danger of enthusiasm carrying us away
We may be a naturally generous, kind, or affectionate sort of person. And so become easily swayed and even enthusiastic about giving away money, time or love. But such inbuilt good tendencies can weaken judgement about a situation. Sentiment or fervent emotion may need the protection of good sense before it runs away with itself.

Our thinking may be realistic or unrealistic. Before giving charity to an alcoholic, remember he or she will likely spend gift money on booze rather than on food. Level-headed individuals do not take risks with their money on dodgy investments no matter the enthusiastic promises made by the salesman. One ignores one's insightful thinking when keenly involving oneself with a charming but good-for-nothing partner.

"When a person is under the influence of strong natural emotions, his rational balance can easily be upset, and he may be carried in any direction." (Hugo Lj Odhner, spiritual psychology writer)

Other examples of getting carried away by enthusiasm are spending "too much" time playing video games or engaging in activity supporting some social or political project to the detriment of family life.

"Enthusiasm for a cause sometimes warps judgment." (William Howard Taft, politician)

Fortunately most of us learn some right thinking from parents, teachers, and friends as well as good ideas from books and elsewhere. Good sense protects the mind against unfounded eagerness or fervour of others. Does such good sense also not come from deeper ideas in ethics, spiritual philosophy, and sacred writing?

Problem of lack of enthusiastic focus
Being enthused is being in the zone. A complete absorption for a while in what one does with loss of sense of space and time.

The opposite to this is the mental state in which one lacks enthusiasm. Energised focus is missing. One is under-involved, and there is a lack of enjoyment in the activity.

Time drags when you are not feeling sufficiently enthused about say your studies, work, or home developments. This lack of keenness can be due to not appreciating the end product, not feeling the spirit behind a project, not being open to the source of its inspiration.

"It is not easy to find something that will intrigue and bind your interest and enthusiasm. This you must seek for yourself." (Walter Annenberg, publisher, philanthropist, and diplomat)

A lack of enthusiastic effort may also apply to spiritual practice. We may remember the effects of meditation, learn the value of mindfulness practice, understand about the application of ethical theory, or know about philosophical ideas. Something may be missing. I would compare true ideas in the understanding with a receptive cup. Do we not need to distinguish between the cup and a limitless source of refreshing liquid which fills it?

According to one view, experience and knowledge about deeper concepts is a vessel into which the rich wine of the infinite spirit can flow.

Intellectualism
There have been good ideas around in contemporary spirituality. Concepts such as the true-self, the new age, one's inner path, or the numinous. Wonderful though many have thought these ideas to be, can they in any way be a substitute for the source of inspiration behind them? Perhaps you put your hope and trust in a higher life force beyond us seen as the source of energy behind the universe? In line with this view, a powerful spirit of illumination and vitality flows into a person through his or her soul. In other words those interested in spirituality sometimes confuse their understanding of ideas with the infinite source that can enliven their framework of conceptual thinking.

Transcendent source of inspiration
According to the spiritual philosopher Emanuel Swedenborg, a powerful source of universal love and wisdom provides higher inspiration. He says this is the transcendent origin of all that is humane in humanity. It both enlightens and energises our thinking about what is useful and important. Without this divine energy we have no enthusiasm.

The infinite source of heat of love and light of wisdom can be compared with the heat and light of our natural sun.

"The sun of our world cannot use its warmth and light to bring forth sprouts in the earth directly. Rather, the sun uses substances in the soil in which it can be present through its warmth and light to make plants grow." (Emanuel Swedenborg, spiritual philosopher)

I would like to suggest that the substance in the soil of the mind are those ideas we have about living a useful life. So, without a ground of rational ideas and understanding, we cannot receive inspiration. At the same time, there is a similar argument. This is that no amount, of such ideas and understanding of themselves, will give us energy and enthusiasm. Do we also not need a willingness to receive divine inflow of love and wisdom? And to acknowledge it comes from outside of ourselves from a higher source?

Sublimate Your Aggressive Energy Through a Positive Way

Within evolution of human civilization, there have been dramatic changes. There has been a continual change in attitudes, practices, rituals, and manners. A tremendous change in human behavior resulted in a revolutionary change in the civilization. As for the behavior, the foremost thing that brings the change and is important to excel is enthusiasm. Enthusiasm can be called a form of excitement or anger in some ways. Especially when we take it in a positive sense. Taking it in a negative way, it is aggression, madness and ultimately destruction.

As attitudes evolved, aggressiveness and rage changed into energy with the coming up of civility. Now, in the present era, with a lot of civilizations existing on one small planet, we see no clear difference in that specific attitude. There are still two aspects that are a positive one and a negative one even within the same civilization. The thing is how to change that negative state into a civil state. For a lot of us, anger is a form of energy as we usually hold the same opinion for this. People who have a lot of verve and gusto are more likely to excel than those who are listless. Your verve gives your mind, energy to work well. It increases your creativity as well.

If our temperament is likely to change every time we encounter the things against our will, we gain a lot of energy in the form of anger. This energy should be sublimated and this can be done in a lot of ways. The most important and beneficial way to sublimate it is to use it in one's interest. Our interests and goals demand energy. If we fulfill the task of our interest with zest we are able to excel in it. Putting our energy, which comes from anger, into our interest or goal is possible because we like to do it.

Interest lightens up the mood and with the completion of it, we are likely to release and use our entire angry attitude that would otherwise be destructive. Destruction does not release anger, it gives rise to it. So the best thing we can do is to make the best use of our own brain. Our thought can make the best or worst use of us. We should think in a positive way. Anger takes over our brain. Educating our mind and having a good control of our emotions can work miracles.

To Succeed You Need a Compelling Reason Why! (By Anne O'Dwyer)

woman using dumbbells

Why is it that so many new resolutions fail after a few weeks or months? Have you ever started a project full of enthusiasm only later to lose interest and abandon it. Do you always finish a book? Have you learnt that language you started, it seemed a great idea last summer! Did you keep up your gym membership for more than 6 months and did you use it regularly? How about your plan to lose weight, did you lose more that 2 pounds and keep the weight off?

Why do we start a new venture full of enthusiasm, and at the first few hurdles lose interest? The ANSWER is we need a compelling "reason why"! If you have a really important reason to continue you are likely to do so. Something really important that will keep you on track despite the hurdles, brick walls, or alternative distractions. You must continually visualize the final picture and think how important it will be to achieve it. Enjoy the feelings and satisfaction of the end result. This must happen daily or even hourly, really "see" how it will benefit you.

It is this that will drive you to success, you will be enlisting the help of your subconscious mind; which in fact is your willing servant waiting to help you achieve. However if you don't give it clear instructions about your desire it cannot help you. If sometimes you are positive and sometimes doubting how does it know what you aim is? There is no need to rely on will-power when you could have all the assistance you need. Just be single-minded about your end result. Your journey may change direction a little if you hit "road blocks" but concentrate on the end result to reach it like a laser beam.

For example it's not so much you want to lose 10 pounds or 3 stone but why do you want to lose weight, what difference will it make to your life, how will you feel, what great advantages will it give you? How will it affect relationships or in what fantastic ways will you gain.

When I was left with 3 children to bring up I used this method. I needed a teaching job to give me school holidays, I love children so it seemed the obvious solution but I didn't have an exam to my name, except in nursing. I set out to achieve my goal and in a few years was the proud owner of a teaching certificate. All this despite it meant a trip of 70 miles a day, and I didn't drive at the time! That is another story, but it is an example of what you can do if your desire is great enough.

I have since moved on to other things now the youngsters have flown the nest. I have learnt basic computer skills and set up a small internet business. So if you are doubting your ability to achieve your dreams, take heed, most things are possible if the desire is compelling enough.

If working at home with an internet business is your dream, affiliate marketing is the simplest starting-point online. Begin with the guidance of a coach and mentor with a proven track record. Someone who provides excellent products and great training in marketing. Believe in yourself and start earning commissions whilst you are learning the skill necessary.

If You Want to Get Ahead in Life

Your enthusiasm, passion and positive energy is what people feel. It's what makes people want to be around you, work with you on any level, and even help you with your goals.

Getting ahead in life is truly an inside job, no pun intended. You have to feel real passion and excitement about whatever it is that you are doing. It is your innate passion that makes time fly by while you exceed even your own expectations, as well as the expectations of those you serve.

Creating something from scratch, in the now moment, can build into a mega-empire. It's not about the future, it's about NOW, and you need to be in love with what you are doing now. If you're not, it's time to move in the direction that ignites you.

Always be trustworthy. Give more than people expect to receive. Treat your client or customer like royalty. If there is ever a glitch, go above and beyond to satisfy them.

NEVER engage in anything illegal or anything that is not one hundred percent ethical. It's just not worth it and would only come back at a later time as karma that you would not want. Honesty is essential. It's okay to say that you are not sure about something, but you can do your best to find out if someone needs certain information.

Be a cheerleader for others! Forget "competition" and move into a much higher energy of positive service for the highest good of all. Competition is fear based. When you are soaring from within you won't have time to contemplate fear because you'll be too busy doing what you love!

Sometimes our careers take new paths as technology creates things we never dreamed of before. Utilize the new technology ethically to promote and share what you are doing. Embrace the new because it's what we are working with now and what was in the past is staying in the past. Have an attitude of acceptance about the new, it will help you far more than being disgruntled resisting it because the good old days are behind you. Make that okay within your mind.

Getting ahead in life is much more of an experience that you love than an external condition that you couldn't care less about. Make sure you go with your heart. People truly feel your energy online. They get a vibe about you. If you're negative, they are going to click off of you and move forward to something that resonates within them on an energy level. Guess what happens? They find a site, or a name, click on that, feel vibrant, glowing, loving positive energy and they become part of your life.

Always keep it positive, sincere, honest, reliable, trustworthy and stay away from everything and everyone who is negative. Give each aspect of your work your all from your heart and you will find that one day you will look back and realize that you really did get ahead after all.

Passion Is the Glue That Stimulates Commitment

Woman Doing Leg Stretching

Do you commit whole heartedly to a new project or venture. Do you see it through to completion and commit to whatever it takes or abandon your project half way through? To increase your stick-ability increase your passion. If you are only mildly interested you are not going to feel the enthusiasm to continue when the going gets tough, you are likely to flounder at the first hurdle.

So before you start, is the project something you want to do or is it something someone else wants you to tackle? How strong is your desire, why do you want to do it? How will the finished result make you feel? Do you feel the commitment required warrants the effort necessary to complete it. How passionate do you feel about the project, is it a burning desire?

So if you score well on all these points, dwelling on the end result and how much it will mean to you will help you to increase your commitment. Visualise the end result, set a date for its completion and a plan to execute it in the time-scale. The more you dwell on the end result the more excitement you will feel for the tasks required. It will become a labour of love. You will enjoy the hours you commit to your project. The drive and passion will grow and help keep you on track to achieve your dream.

Think of all the people who set out to build their houses and execute it to the end despite set backs and running out of money, they find a way despite challenges. Did you see on the news the group of elderly ladies that 20 years ago set out to build a community housing project so that they could all live in close proximity and help each other. Their dream finally came to fruition, the oldest lady was in her eighties. They are now advising a couple of other groups to do the same. Take heed if they can do something as large as that, you can achieve a simple project.

Believe in yourself and your abilities, each project you complete will help you grow. You will gains stick-ability and belief that will be better than will-power alone. Do something every day to advance your project so that your desire doesn't grow cold. This will enable you to see progress and of course never give up.

So what is your new venture or project? What are you going to see through to the end and enjoy the result of? Could it be you want to work at home like 2,000,000,000 others that are searching Google to find ways to do just that.

Affiliate marketing is a simple way to begin online, and with the guidance of a coach who provides excellent products and good training you can start earning commissions whilst you are learning the necessary skills.

So whatever your new project or venture follow it through to the end and you will feel the satisfaction and achievement. You don't want to leave a trail of half completed projects behind you any more, become dynamic and confident in your ability to achieve. Not only that but you will achieve your dreams.

Have you ever asked yourself why is it that some people seem to have massive success with Internet marketing whilst others don't. Have you ever tried to make money online and failed? Don't worry it's not your fault. Most people are using completely the wrong affiliate marketing strategies.

Will a Robot Steal Your Job? Not If You Learn to Stay Relevant (By Ernest B Bray)

If recent events have revealed anything, it's that many Americans are anxious about their jobs - an anxiety based on well-documented facts. There is fierce competition for good positions. Very often, however, it comes not from globalization but from robots and AI.

To avoid becoming a casualty of progress, you need to adapt as swiftly as possible. You need to find ways of staying relevant in a workplace increasingly dominated by software. Although you will never enjoy a guaranteed job for life (those days are long gone), the following tips should keep you from becoming obsolete overnight:

1. Continuously upgrade your skills. The coveted job skills of today will not be those of tomorrow. Hence, you must consistently enhance your education (which doesn't necessarily mean a college education). You need to learn valuable skills, including communications and technology, to remain valuable and agile. Nobody can predict what the most sought-after jobs will be 10 years from now, but some of the knowledge and skills for these jobs can be identified in advance.

2. Embrace technology. Technology is always changing, and so must you. Dedicate yourself to becoming an early adopter. Read about new technologies and be ready to utilize these tools - from office software to database programs. The more knowledgeable you are about new and emerging tech, the better prepared you'll be to work with them instead of being displaced by them.

3. Display energy and enthusiasm. I can't emphasize this enough: when employers make hiring decisions, they always give preference to upbeat people who will bring energy to the company. They don't want dour drones without any passion for the job. High-energy people are always in demand, and will always have a leg up.

4. Be a creative person. Harnessing your creativity will be even more important in the future. More often than not, you'll be called on to use your mind, rather than your hands, to generate new products (in conjunction with AI and robotics). You'll need to creatively interpret data to help streamline and improve processes. People who display their creativity will have few problems finding new opportunities.

5. Communication skills. Regardless of how automated the workplace becomes, it will always be vital to communicate with colleagues and customers on a human level. Most technology will be used to assist employees, not replace them. And AI is a poor substitute (so far) for the personalized communication that so many customers expect.

6. Dress for Success. Don't assume that dressing sloppily is a good idea because some successful entrepreneurs wear sweatshirts and tennis shoes. On average, professionally dressed employees are better positioned to advance their careers than those who dress like middle age frat boys in a misguided effort to look cool.

7. Be very adaptable. Job responsibilities and descriptions may be much more fluid in the future. If you're the type who can only handle one responsibility, or focus on one task at a time, you may not go far. Those who do go far will do what it takes to help the company succeed, regardless of whether the tasks are listed in their job descriptions.

Companies will always need people to manage and use new technologies. In most cases, these tools will merely assist human beings rather than pushing them out the door.

This isn't to say that some people won't be displaced. But if you follow the advice above, it's less likely that you'll lose your job to a piece of software. Instead, you'll be working with that robot or AI software to achieve tasks that might have been impossible just a few years earlier.

Inspiring Others - Demonstrating a High Level of Motivation

Most of us feel bogged down in life with stresses, pressures and challenges. Have you ever thought of rising above these factors and standing out? Why not set a bright example for others? In fact, how can you demonstrate a high level of motivation in order to inspire others? Read on for getting insights.

There are several solid ways you can stay motivated and also inspire others. Have a look at the following scenarios.

· Your wife and child are both sick at home. You are extremely worried. But the moment you reach your office, you start to carry out your duties with such enthusiasm that you forget your family for the time being. At lunch break, you share your personal story and everyone is startled that in spite of that, you are able to work so spiritedly. One hour before the office closes, you give a round-up of your work and drop in a line that you have to leave the office early because of your personal problem. Nobody minds including your boss. You have worked hard and demonstrated it all. So you are well off; you are good to return home and look after your family.

· Your boss criticizes you badly in front of others. He points out the flaws in your work project and rebukes. There is pin drop silence all around. You just say humbly, "I will work it out. " Over the span of the next few days, instead of being gloomy, you take your boss's words as constructive criticism and work in all angles, heeding your boss's requirements all along. By the end of the week, you give a finishing touch to your work project and come up with a smart presentation in front of others including your boss. There is a big round of claps and applause. You not only made it but also were an inspiration to everyone.

· One of your colleagues is stuck with her work project. She doesn't know how to begin. You give her a boost with a few keywords to work on and Google over the web. Your colleague grabs them and gets the head start immediately. In fact, you have inspired her to begin her project avidly.

· Your colleague has been criticized badly by your boss in front of others. He is feeling sulky and embarrassed. You uplift his confidence by pointing to him what options he has to rectify his mistakes. You present to him a few scenarios and tools as well to work with. Your colleague regains his composure and starts to work zealously on what you have just demonstrated.

These are a few ways that you can be a source of inspiration for others, standing out from the rest, setting yourself as a brilliant example for others.

The Number 1 Golden Rule To Get Yourself Highly Motivated

A great writer once said, "The heights by great men reached and kept were not attained by sudden flight, but they while their companions slept, were toiling upward in the night." For this reason, I resolved to work through the challenge of being consistently motivated despite the potential setbacks and hardships I was going to endure down the road

Having goals in my life has been a matter of principle. While having and setting goals is one thing, implementing the goals and seeing to their fruition has been another. I observed that I needed to work myself out if success was going to be within reach. Besides a few other things I needed to do, I had to apply a golden rule to remain highly motivated all the time.

Always being highly motivated is central to success. Although it is not an easy undertaking, it is not impossible either, especially with the application of some very basic tenets.

At one point, for example, I went on a very stringent diet, it was all fun and exciting during the first few weeks but as the enthusiasm started to fade and the toll of the rigid diet started to set in, I knew I needed to keep myself motivated otherwise I was going to lose my entire focus and determination,of course, without applying the Golden Rule I ended up losing my motivation and going off course my long-term goal of losing weight.

The Golden rule: What it is and how it presents itself?

I need to mention first that, before I knew this principle, the more I encountered tough times and obstacles, the more my motivation levels dwindled, thus impeding more and more my ability to fulfill and accomplish goals.

Realizing this has been the foundation for me to appreciate the importance of getting highly motivated all the time, notwithstanding the fact that scientific research has consistently proved that setting out challenging but manageable goals is significant to staying focused and achieving goals. This principle often called the "Goldilocks Rule", is the Golden rule to constantly and consistently being highly motivated. The rule states that, that "our ability to stay motivated will falter when pursuing goals that are outside of an optimal range of difficulty."

To highlight this rule, let's further consider the example I gave on starting a diet. I was able to see myself loose considerable weight and achieve my set initial target in a short period. However, as the progress slowed down to reach a constant, I noticed how my motivation took a downward trend. In like manner, colleagues whose goals were to lose substantial amounts of weight often lost the drive to achieve this goal, they struggled to stay motivated just from the beginning because the task ahead seemed mammoth and outwardly impossible. The good news here is that this golden Goldilocks rule can be used in the pursuit of any goal, moreover, morals and values still remain in check while applying this golden principle.

Using this Goldilocks principle and learn how to get highly motivated

The Golden rule helped me set out a fine range of progressive and achievable goals and cut away from impossible tasks. This draws from the psychology that "humans are at their most driven phase when they assume tasks that are at the very edge of their ability, as they seek a balance between challenging themselves and making progress along their specific course."

If I am accomplishing manageable milestones that are able to make me joyful, I always have the drive for the next one. Additionally, this presents me a chance to make progressive strides and experience the development process. From the time I started deliberately measuring and celebrating each step to success and personal improvement regularly, I have been able to achieve a positive psychological function that has enabled me to boldly face and defy challenges, steadily push forward my performance and achieve my goals within time.

For me, appreciating this rule was the first and just about the most fundamental part of motivating myself and fruitfully pursuing my goals, otherwise I repetitively found myself either failing in intellectual motivation or just stand astounded by the work before me.

Sticking to this golden rule has also helped me to apply other motivational keys, the keys can equally be considered as golden because they always go in tandem with Goldilocks rule. One such key is the ability to measure and celebrate progress and individual development against an ideal.

There is ONE rule to be highly motivated, if mastered, you will be able to easily accomplish all your goals!

How Motivated People Win in Life & Business

Staying Motivated to Win in Life & Business
Motivation is not the same as enthusiasm. Enthusiastic people are energized and engaged, but those who are motivated want to achieve goals beyond the level of just being excited. They are committed to working through problems and succeeding in spite of drawbacks and issues that may occur along the way. In fact, they see drawbacks as a necessary part of the process to help them win.

Motivated individuals are, by nature, geared to win and be successful. These are people with a focus on meeting miniature objectives to maximize the achievement of the overall goal. They can strategically plan how to win, and they have a level of creativity to work around problems and to see the diverse ways to reach their goals.

Internal and External Motivation

Learning how motivated people win involves learning a little about how they are motivated. There are two different sources of motivation. Motivation can be external, or it can be internal.

External motivation is based on rewards or, less commonly, on avoiding penalties or negative consequences. For example, winning a cash prize for the highest sales or earning a spa weekend for being voted as 'employee of the month' are sources of external motivation.
Internal motivation is something that is unique to each individual. It is the ability to challenge oneself, to strive to continually improve and grow as well as the desire to reach success as self-defined.
Internal motivation is a key factor for winning in professional and personal settings. External motivators are helpful, but they don't have the power and the sustainability of internal motivation.
Think of individuals who have overcome incredible odds. These people became winners in spite of the negativity or lack of support from external sources. Learning how to become self-motivated on an internal level is a powerful tool. Once learned, you can use this to chart your course to personal success.

Winning needs to be carefully defined. It is not always based on a specific, tangible outcome. Winning can also be in learning something new, becoming better in a given personal or professional area, or making steps towards your ultimate goal. With each success, you will find the capacity for internal motivation increases, which continues to support your efforts in the future.

Learning how to stay motivated and how motivated people win is key to finding long-term success in your personal and professional life.

Enthusiasm - How to Find It

How Your Enthusiasm Can Be Infectious

Have you tried distinct role-playing in your family or at work? What responsibilities did you shoulder? Did they make you feel good? Most of all, did it inspire others? Read on for insights.

Always be the jolly, happy person at home or work. At home do all the chores whistling a tune or humming a few lyrics. Your children and spouse will get the infectious spirit immediately. They will be eager to be a part of your chores and responsibilities only because you set a bright example for them by being delightful.

At work, it would be wrong to whistle or hum. But simply be cheerful and have a smiling face while you work and also when you talk to your colleagues. While they are all scratching their heads on how to progress, everything seems to come easy to you and you leave the office happily as well.

Your colleagues will have noticed all of that. Now they want to know your secrets. Simply tell them to take it easy and smile. The solutions are all there inside them. Also the mighty vast resource of internet is an additional asset to help them out. Tell them to be worry-free and proceed.

But things are not always easy even for you. Your spouse may be drastically ill or maybe you had an accident and have to go on crutches around home and at work. You choose to be happy no matter what and carry on with your chores and work, helping out your family and colleagues and they will pick up the infectious enthusiasm from you and get along in their own ways happily and cheerfully.

Isn't this a great way to pass on the contagious joyousness? Why stay subdued and unhappy? Life is not meant to be like that anyway. Keep up your spirits and courage in challenging and difficult times and share your problems with your family, keeping them informed but telling them everything would be okay soon.

Everybody enjoys the company of a person who has a sense of humor, jokes in a standard way and gives a sense of joy to be around. People are attracted to this kind of personality and they would love to emulate you and be like you. That's because every single person on this earth wants to be happy while doing household chores or office work. Give them tips so that they can follow them and they too can be jubilant on the home and work fronts united.

Message From the Universe: Limitless Possibilities!

"Often you don't know what you can do until you do it; what you can be until you become it; or what you can have until you have it.

But hey, that never stopped you before!

Arriba, arriba, ándale, ándale -
The Universe"

So why not wanting it all, be it all and can do it all? If your thoughts can dictate and bring these kinds of results, why even considering thinking negative? This is why you have so many great potential out there to be more than they can ever envision their life to be but are not where they are because of their thoughts. So many obstacles they personally create in their mind, so many excuses they give themselves as to why things are not done.Excuses are for losers too scared to accomplish anything they want because it is easier to give excuses than figuring out how to complete the task. Who doesn't want an easy life right? I am sure you do. However, the easy path isn't always the happiest one. By walking it, you lose motivation because nothing is challenging anymore. Nothing gets you to wake up every morning and look forward to tackle life with enthusiasm. You no longer feel you need to achieve anything anymore as everything is given to you. Life ends at this point, maybe not physically speaking, but mentally and spiritually.

However, when you confront fear, hurdles, challenges, difficulties and you figure out ways to finding solutions, your mind keeps active, which in return, gives you the self esteem needed to pursue all your dreams and goals. You no longer are afraid of anything and you do everything in your power to look for more creative ways to grow and prosper. More opportunities open up because of your many qualities and you find more ways to give back to society, because you learned how to pay it forward. Life is all about paying it forward as you are giving back what life gave you in the first place, opportunities. Life chose YOU to create a difference that others do not have the intelligence or capability to do. Because of that, you need to feel extra special knowing how much value life gives you particularly. When you do accomplish all your goals, always remember your roots, and where you came from and how hard you worked to get to where you are today. Never forget that part and always allow yourself to sit for a minute, looking out from your penthouse, and be proud of all your accomplishments.

Some individuals start with goals that they believed were long-lasting. They may attain them quickly, and they realize that their objectives were really part of a bigger long-term one. We open our eyes often to the possibilities when we get a taste of success.

So, short-term objectives are really a terrific method to jump-start us when we're stuck. We can rack up some quick successes and build some momentum. Short term goals are a terrific confidence booster, since they show that we're able to achieve things in life.

2. Have a truly huge WHY.

You need to ask yourself: "Do I actually desire this objective and will this objective offer me a much better life?"

You need to understand your WHY. Why do I want this? If you cannot generate compelling factors, it's OK to discard the objective. Addressing this ONE concern can spark enthusiasm and inspiration that you didn't know you had.

3. Speak up.

You should not keep your goals to yourself, particularly when you're feeling stuck. By telling other individuals about your objectives, you can get support for your objectives and you might simply feel the additional pressure in a good way. It's one thing to quit if you're the only one who understands it. It's entirely another thing if a lot of individuals know.

Keeping quiet can have a negative long-lasting effect, because when you require support, your family and friends may not see you as somebody capable of accomplishing those goals. They could quickly try to talk you out of going for your objectives. You'll be on your own or even worse, working against your naysayers in addition to everything else. Do not make this error.

4. Make a note of your goals.

You're most likely thinking, "Duh!" But do you currently have written goals? Have you constantly had composed objectives in your success journey? If so, you're the exception. This is vital and even more important if you've got a great deal of intricate objectives. Write them down and keep reviewing them. Keep your objectives fresh in your mind and you'll be more likely to work on them.

5. Stay on track and never ever give up.

Stay focused on what is very important. Evaluate your objectives and especially your WHY. If you have a big sufficient WHY and keep that in mind frequently, you won't quit. You can alter your strategies. You can adapt to altering circumstances, however you will not quit.

Do not let frustrations obstruct you. Obstacles are simply opportunities to make a development and attain a short-term objective.

Adventure: 10 Ways to Adventure Daily

Daily Adventure Tips:

1. Ditch Technology.
I know you don't like this one but the truth is you can't be in the moment, enjoying your life, if you're checking your cell phone every 5 seconds to see who 'liked' your post. Let it go. Not only will you feel more relaxed, you'll actually listen and be available to anyone you talk to and you might even want to adventure outdoors for a walk or hike. Don't get crazy now!

2. Talk to Strangers.
Yeah, I know your parents said not to but grow up already. The more people you talk to today, the happier you'll be. Why? Because connecting with others releases happy chemicals that make you feel better. Also, you might have a little laugh, learn something new, or even make a friend that takes you on all kinds of adventures. You never know.

3. Take a New Route to Work.
Don't you ever get tired of the same old drive? Try a new route to work and see what else is around you. You might see a new restaurant you'd like to try, a park you think would be an awesome lunch get-a-way, or even discover that you've been taking the longest route to work for 10 years.

4. Take Your Lunch.
Stop sitting at your desk, gobbling your food down during your lunch break. Get out of that office! Put the work aside and take a breather. In fact, lunch breaks are a great time to meet up with friends, do a little window shopping, or take a walk somewhere new. (Notice the theme of 'new' here? That's what adventure's all about).

5. Start Saying Yes.
At the risk of sounding like a Tony Robbins fanatic, (I do love the guy), start saying YES more often. Maybe you 'think' you don't want to go to that friend's party, meet up for breakfast, or get to know your in-laws, but instead of turning everything down, be more open. You never know what good can come out of saying yes.

6. Get Outside.
This seems obvious but too many people reject the great outdoors. It doesn't have to be anything scary like trekking through bear-laden trails by yourself. (Though, that can be fun). Just walk outside and enjoy the beautiful weather. Take a little walk through the trees, sit on a peer by the water. If you really like to adventure, play woods paintball, go ice climbing, mountain biking, or surf the highest waves you can find! Okay... back to weekday adventure.

7. Dare to Be Silly.
It's okay to stand up on the shopping cart and ride it to your car. No one will arrest you. Dress up for Halloween, sing karaoke, turn up the music and dance with friends. You don't have to be business all the time. You can actually have a little fun, you know.

8. Plan Your Next Adventure
While this doesn't sound too adventurous, you can actually feel amazing looking forward to an adventure.Take the time to think about what you really want to do besides lying on a beach drinking a margarita. If you want to have more adventure, you'll need to create the environment for it. Google, "adventures."

9. Read.
Again, kind of odd, but reading adventure books, stories, and blogs can give you an idea of what you want to do. If you're only going to work, cooking dinner, and then watching Law & Order before bed, you likely won't be inspired to think outside the box to get adventurous.

10. Do Something Alone.
How often do you find yourself doing whatever someone else wants to do? When you take a little time for yourself, you can veer off in whatever direction you like. There are no set plans, no rules, and no one to argue over what to do next. It's great if you have someone that loves to adventure with you but if not, don't let that keep YOU from adding adventure into your own daily life.

So, now that you've seen some simple ways to add a little adventure into your day, what will you do now? How will you wake up tomorrow morning full of enthusiasm and passion about what the day might hold?

6 Surefire Ways to Increase Your Charisma

It's not about what's in you, but what you can offer others.

While research on charisma is still in development, one of the most extensive studies yet has found that charisma is not so much a gift as a learnable skill you can master.
What Presence Has to Do With It
If you meet someone at a cocktail party whose eyes are constantly flitting around the room, do they make a good impression? Do they appear magnetic or charming? The answer is probably not. Their mind is clearly somewhere else—maybe trying to figure out if there is someone in the room who is more important than you. They are not focusing on the conversation, and they may glance at (or even focus on) their mobile devices. Are you likely to want to speak to them again? Chances are you will not. No one is interested in talking to someone who is not present. Worse yet is if they are not present and they are focused on technology. One study showed that the mere presence of a cellphone impaired people's sense of connection in face-to-face conversations.
However, if you meet someone who is completely attentive to you, and actively engaged in the conversation, you are much more likely to find them likable and interesting. If that person’s cellphone rings without them checking it, they get even more points. Why? Because in that moment, the only thing that seems to matter to them is you. You are the most important person there, and they have gifted you all of their attention at that moment.
A charismatic person is able to exert significant influence because he or she connects with others in meaningful ways. It’s no surprise people often describe highly charismatic people—presidents including Bill Clinton are frequent examples—as having the ability to make you feel as if you were the only person in the room. Given how rare it is to receive that kind of attention from anyone, the ability to be fully present makes a big impression.
6 Ways To Increase Your Charisma
We often think of charisma as a special gift—the je ne sais quoi that makes someone a star. Max Weber defined it as:
“a certain quality of an individual personality by virtue of which he is set apart from ordinary men and treated as endowed with supernatural, superhuman, or at least specifically exceptional powers or qualities. These are . . . not accessible to the ordinary person, but are regarded as of divine origin or as exemplary, and on the basis of them the individual concerned is treated as a leader.”

(link is external)
What research shows is that charisma is not so much a gift, some "it factor" that you either were born with or not. But charisma has a lot to do with the ability to be fully present. The study pointed to six elements of a charismatic person:
1. Empathy—the ability to see things from another person’s perspective and to understand how that person is feeling. You can only be empathic and place yourself in another person’s shoes if you are fully attentive to them—which you are obviously only able to do if you are completely present with them.
2. Good listening skills—the ability to truly hear what someone is trying to communicate to you, both verbally and nonverbally. Think of the person at the conference social hour who interrupts you or can’t wait to interject her two cents. She is not truly listening to you because she’s thinking about herself—what she will say, how smart she will sound, how impressed you will be. But if you are distracted or thinking about what to say next—not truly present—you are not truly listening.
3. Eye contact—the ability to meet and maintain someone’s gaze. Eye contact is one of the most powerful forms of human connection. We intuitively feel that when someone’s gaze shifts away from us, their attention has also shifted away. This intuition is backed by neuroscience research, which has found that you use the same brain regions when your gaze wanders as when your mind wanders. When you are present and looking someone in the eye, the impact of that connection can be powerful. In addition to feeling heard, because of your empathy and good listening skills, people actually feel seen.

4. Enthusiasm—the ability to uplift another person through praise of their actions or ideas. Enthusiasm is difficult to fake because it is such an authentic emotion. It can only occur when you sincerely engage with what someone else is doing or saying. For your enthusiasm to come across powerfully, you have to sincerely feel it. Again, your ability to be fully present and engaged is essential.
5. Self-confidence—the ability to act authentically and with assurance, without worrying about what other people think. Many people are so busy worrying about how they appear that they end up coming across as nervous or inauthentic. Their focus is on themselves rather than on the other person. When you are fully present, you are focused on others rather than yourself. As a consequence, you naturally come across as confident; instead of worrying about what others are thinking of you, you are composed, genuine, and natural.
6. Skillful speaking—the ability to profoundly connect with others. It is essential to know your audience if you want to make an impact. The only way to do so, however, is to tune in to them. When you are 100% present with your audience, you are able to understand where they are coming from and how they are interpreting your words. Only then can your words be sensitive and appropriate. When you speak skillfully, you will be truly heard.
Charisma, simply put, is absolute presence.

S.E.C.R.E.T. Of Success Revealed

I often hear people wondering whether they will ever unlock the secret of success or not. On the contrary, there is a bunch of individuals who have discovered this secret knowing or unknowingly in the course of Life. So, what is the secret of success? It is SECRET.

S.E.C.R.E.T.

SLOGGING SMARTLY - Ever wondered what successful people do while you are asleep or partying? Well, they slog and slog. The first secret of success is slogging. You need to put your 300% in the work that you are doing in the smartest way. Hard work is necessarily important but a little smartness can get you a long way.

ENTHUSIASM - Worshipping your work is necessary. Whether you are studying or working upon a project, things begin to die when our enthusiasm dies. If each and everything that you take is taken with utter enthusiasm, you will eventually find yourself putting extra efforts happily. Do not let the enthusiasm die.

CONSISTENCY - Each one of us is prepared to chase their respective dreams, each one of us puts efforts in realising the dream, but what makes the real time difference is consistency. How many of us put efforts continuously, no matter what, when and how? Those who keep toiling upwards, even when they hit the ground, those who keep going even when they are pulled back are becoming successful in whatever field they choose.

REASSURANCE - The greatest games are often played with minds and life is a game as well. There are times when you might feel like quitting and not moving ahead these are the times when you require yourself to reassure that you CAN DO IT. People who have managed to reach the peaks once felt that they cannot do it but they reassured themselves and willingly climbed up.

ENCOURAGEMENT - Stick to people who inspire you to do better each day or for better results encourage yourself to break your own records. You need to get rid of the people who often demoralise you and cause hindrance in your path.

TRUST - Faith is a significant luggage on the road of success. You need to learn the tactics of trusts by trusting people who deserve it moreover it is vital to trust yourself and your own instincts. Unless and until you cannot trust yourself, it is tough for opportunities to trust you.

Success has no short cuts; you need to go a long way putting efforts continuously. You need to inspire yourself and surround your determination in a positive way. There are many who dream but only few conquer their fears, beat the odds and achieve what they have been longing for.

5 Foolproof Ways to Boost Your Public-Speaking Skills

For young entrepreneurs, no matter your industry, solid public-speaking skills are invaluable. And if you want to get to the big time one day, chances are, you'll need to take the stage -- a la Mark Zuckerberg or the late Steve Jobs -- which could possibly open you up to scrutiny from the media, analysts and investors.
If you fall flat, you'll hardly inspire excitement among consumers or check-writing venture investors. But no pressure. After all, practice makes perfect.
Here, we tapped several polished public speakers for their inside secrets:
1. Study with the best.
While it's possible to teach yourself how to become a good public speaker, it’s more efficient to work with professionals. Depending on your resources, this usually means one of three options: Finding a mentor, hiring a formal public-speaking coach or joining up with the local outfit of Toastmasters.
The first two strategies are by far the most straightforward. Both mentors and coaches will evaluate you on your natural speaking style, critique where you fall short and fill in any blanks by walking you through the finer points.
The difference, of course, is that coaches charge big bucks, usually about $75 an hour.
By contrast, Toastmasters charges just $36 for six months. The Rancho Santa Margarita, Calif.-based non-profit sponsors learn-by-doing public-speaking workshops all over the world. There are no instructors at these meetings, and members evaluate one another.
2. Pick a passion.
Passion and enthusiasm goes a long way in this world -- especially when you’re standing in front of a room full of people. So, speak about things that get your blood pumping.
"People would much rather hear from someone who inspires them, someone who gets really excited about the subject of a speech," says Travis Allen, the 21-year-old president and CEO of the iSchool Initiative, an education-focused nonprofit based in Kennesaw, Ga. Allen adds that audiences respond just as well to passionate gestures as they do to passionate words.
"Body language is 70 percent of being an effective communicator, how you say it is 23 percent and content is only 7 percent," he estimates, offering a breakdown based on his own personal experiences.
3. Plan ahead.
In the movies, it makes for great drama when public speakers toss aside their notes and speak extemporaneously. In the real world, however, that almost never happens. Ever. With this in mind, it behooves you to plan out a speech as you would a white paper or doctoral thesis.
Some speakers say this means writing the end first and working backward from there. Others, such as 26-year-old Andrew Schrage, co-owner of Money Crashers, a personal-finance site in New York, say that crafting a simple outline works wonders.
"I write down which specific points I want to cover and in which order, and try to include examples for each point," says Schrage. "I also include a modest timeline with my outline based on the allotted time I have to speak."
4. Use examples.
Audiences respond best when they experience a sense of empathy. This means speeches with personal anecdotes and other humanizing elements tend to work best.
Stacey Ferreira, the 20-year-old co-founder and vice president of MySocialCloud.com, a Los Angeles-based online backup and bookmarking site, says she prefers to select stories that engage the audience and give listeners something to relate to.
"I’ve found that telling stories are an amazing way to get listeners’ attention and bring everyone in the audience into your speech," she says. You might also try incorporating jokes or video clips to break things up, too.
5. Practice makes perfect.
Once the speech is written, it’s time to do something NBA-star Allen Iverson doesn't care for: Practice. With a stopwatch. And no do-overs.
Jeet Banerjee, a 19-year-old serial entrepreneur and college student based in Orange County, Calif., says he tries to run through each speech under "real-world" conditions at least four or five times before the main event.
"Practicing around friends, families and co-workers helps me deliver a much smoother presentation and gives others a chance to critique my speech, which can be valuable," he says. "I don’t think you can ever master the art of public speaking, but you can improve with every speech you make."
