What's Stopping You From Dreaming Big (By Chris Atley)

This was taken right around the time that my big dream to move to California was born. This was on a family trip to Disneyland & Universal Studios in California when I was 8 years old. At the time I was reading the Sweet Valley High books - remember those?! - where Jessica and Elizabeth lived in Malibu and drove around in a red convertible Fiat!! "THAT sounds amazing", I thought!!!

And so the dream was formed!

Funny enough my Mom found some of my old journals recently, where I had written down what I wanted to do when I grew up. Helping poor people and owning the Humane Society were written down. I was watching a TON of those commercials where the German Sheppard was basically crying, and they went on to tell us how much he'd been abused:(

I remember thinking that I was going to own all of the dogs in the world and live on a huge fenced in lot by the beach in Malibu, where people would have to be interviewed by me to see if they were fit to own a dog!

Some things never change. You can count on me to always let you know what is fair and what is not. I'm working on that...

What is that dream deep inside of you that's pulling at your heart strings? Read today's article below to learn where I landed on my dreams, what tends to get in the way of people making their dreams come true, and that it's absolutely okay to course correct along the way!

What's Stopping you from Dreaming Big?

See if you can tune into what you were wanting to do when you were little. I had the memory of California and the humane society, but I didn't realize I had also said that I wanted to help poor people! I remember saying in grade 6 (so age 11ish), that I wanted to either be a lawyer or a model, but not that part.

Well I definitely believe I'm doing my part to help poor people - I'm going to reframe that into helping people live abundant lives! - but the latter - the dog part - came about in a really interesting way!

And no, I don't own the humane society or all of the dogs in the world!

BUT I did work with a client once who is a K9 trainer who helps medics around the world care for the dogs who are on the job. Think guys jumping out of helicopters and landing on jet skis - she helps those types of handlers! Her training has helped to save countless animals, and as we worked on growing her business she was able to help even more dogs and people. When I was working with her awhile back, the realization set in that I was actually helping to make a difference in dogs' lives. It was a cool realization.

Throughout my childhood, whenever I felt "sad" I would think of going "home", which to me was palm trees, sunshine and the ocean. I'm not sure where this came from, but it was there. Like a knowing.

And being able to manifest something like that - that was such a big dream for me - has truly become my purpose - showing others we absolutely can be, do and have anything in life! We truly are limitless!

So what gets in the way?

Well a couple of things.

I do remember dating someone once and I shared with his parents that I wanted to help animals. I was pretty much shamed because they said there were so many people to help and why would I help animals instead?

Hmmm...

Insert doubt. I pretty much felt like a bad person for wanting to do that.

How often do we listen to other people and then talk ourselves right out of something as a result?

Don't get me wrong, feedback and validation are important, but not when it works against our dreams! Not when it talks us out of going after what lies in our hearts.

Our desires are given to us for a reason. It's how we know what our purpose is.

Most people spend tons of time and money trying to figure out their purpose, but we already have the answer inside of us if we would listen. It's our heart's desires, it's what makes us happy and what brings us joy. All we need to do is follow that and let it the rest unfold.

Which brings me to another reason people don't follow their dreams. They can't see "how" their dreams will happen and so they give up. This is one of the biggest areas to let go of in order to use the law of attraction to manifest our dreams and desires. It's not up to us! Look at the K9 medic story! I never could have dreamt that up in a million years!

Which leads me to it being okay to course correct. Our childhood and adulthood desires might look a little different, and that's okay.

I remember a friend saying to me once that I didn't actually make it to Malibu, but I was close! At least that's how I heard her say it anyway.

If we're being that knit picky we've lost sight of the whole thing. The dream was palm trees and the ocean in California, to which I achieved. I consciously chose which area I wanted to be in after living in California for 4 years. We visited San Diego a few times and absolutely loved it and the more laid-back lifestyle. It's what worked for us (insert also thinking about husbands and kids too - which I definitely didn't have at 8 years old;-)

It's absolutely okay to course correct and adapt your dreams as you go. I never would have thought I would be paid to be a speaker or start a second business in real estate investing when I first started my entrepreneurial efforts!

If we're shown the entire picture all at once it would be wayyy too overwhelming to bring to fruition anyway. But if we keep saying yes, one step at a time, to what brings us joy and what we're interested in, we will always be on track with creating a happy and purposeful life!

We just have to go for it!

xoxo

P.S. I don't know about you, but I have been so tired these last few days. I think something to do with a full moon?? Anyway, as I was sitting down to write this article it felt like pulling teeth. I didn't know how I was going to do it. But as I got started, I was reenergized writing about this topic. I got so excited writing about manifesting our dreams that I got a total energy burst! Another sure sign that we're on track with doing what we love ?

Making Emotional Choices

Have you ever watched those television shows where individuals give up their lives to move to another country to be with a person they met online? They do all this in the name of love.

I have been thinking about some of the story lines and the common themes that lead them into bad situations. Many of the choices they make are ones that cause problems even for those who never leave their home country but end up in trouble:

1. Thinking that the unknown will make all their dreams come true. If you haven't done good research, you really don't know what the future offers. Wisdom means that you have a plan and take your time examining all the factors that might interfere with success.

2. Believing others who make promises to you. The internet means that you can have Hallowe'en every day! People often create identities that are deceiving because they think that you won't be attracted to them if you know the truth. Even in everyday life, it is amazing to think about how many people will lie to you or make unfounded claims about things that might never happen the way that they are described.

3. Entering a culture that you do not know or understand. It might seem to be an exciting adventure to move into a new country or area but unless you understand the laws, habits and traditions before you go there, you might get a very rude awakening. I have a French teacher who decided to move from Germany to Austria recently. He has had great difficulties trying to do this because he didn't realize that one of the German laws states he cannot sell his condo for ten years! He certainly didn't know that when he purchased it!

4. Ignoring advice that your loved ones offer. Those who care about you might be able to see dangers that your emotional state blocks out. When someone asks you questions or warns you about entering into a new situation make sure that you think twice before proceeding. They usually are not trying to prevent you from experiencing happiness but are just seeing signs that are troubling.

5. Giving up the secure life. Life can be boring at times but putting one foot in front of the other will usually give you a sure path to contentment as you age. There is a reason why banks offer twenty-five-year mortgages. Employment usually offers cost of living raises as well as promotion opportunities. Giving all this up with the hope of having quick riches could lead to disappointment.

6. Trusting that others love you enough to take care of you. Unfortunately, people are quite self-centered. We tend to do things that benefit our own lives and there is absolutely no guarantee that you will be looked after by another person. Healthy relationships offer mutual support and endeavor to ensure that the needs of the other person are met. Unfortunately, when tough times arrive, it can be "everyone for himself". You can be the most lovable person in the world and find yourself alone!

7. Expecting family and friends to pick up the pieces. Once you find that you are in trouble it is important to remember that you got yourself into it and will need to get yourself out of it. I am always amazed when I hear individuals being upset because they think that the very people who warned them to be careful are not always willing to come up with solutions for those who ignored and abandoned them.
When you are tempted to give up your family, income and life in order to pursue a dream, make sure that you have not only done adequate research about what you are facing but also to consider the consequences of your actions should things not turn out as you have planned.

It's all about making good, healthy choices and not just impulsive, emotional ones!

What's Killing Your Creativity?

As freelancers we are dreamers and we like to see our dreams come to life quite often, but what happens when your creativity is nowhere to be found? Let's explore some of the most common causes of lack of creativity and some quick fixes to get you back on track.

Stress:

Stress is a major creativity foe with the ability to suck those reserves dry and make you feel terrible. Who can't create while panicking about the bills, the crying baby, or the ever-mounting stack of dirty dishes?

The fix:

Ask for help. It may seem like common sense, but so many people forget to ask for help. Anything from dishes to childcare can be outsourced to help you get a better handle on your current situation. If finances are the problem you may also want to make a budget and stick to it through lean times to feel more in control.

Fatigue:

All performers and athletes know that fatigue will ruin their performance. Yet freelancers often burn the candle at both ends and stay up into the wee hours of the morning only to return to their desk again a few hours later. This can make your thinking foggy and leave you with little to no energy for getting out of bed, much less creating.

The fix:

Get adequate rest and go to bed around the same time each night. Keeping a regular waking schedule will also help you to get better sleep. Other ways to sleep better include avoiding caffeine in the late afternoon and avoiding working in your bedroom.

Meaningless Work:

We all have bills to pay, but if you're taking on work that you hate, then you are much less likely to be successful. You may also make yourself miserable and anxious as you slog through this never ending work to get the money in the end.

The fix:

Provide value to customers who can help you to get the work that you love. Of course it goes without saying that top quality work will earn top quality clients. In my opinion, this is one of the best explanations of feeling great and finding meaningful work that I have seen yet from the amazing Charlie Hoehn.

In the end it's important to keep yourself healthy, get enough sleep, and ask for help when you need it. If you are still feeling drained you may want to explore your diet or other factors in your work environment to find what works best for you. Creativity is often essential to freelancing, hopefully these tips will help you to nurture yours.

Impossible Dreams Do Come True (By Sergei VanBellinghen)

Assorted Flowers on Table

While some of us still believe that impossible dreams do come true, countless others gave up this right. Over the years, various people tell us to be realistic. Even society says that we all have limits and reaching beyond these limitations is not possible. But I am firmly against that popular belief.
So, how can you overcome your limits? What is being realistic anyway? Can dreams become real?

The thing you must understand is that virtually everything and anything is possible for you to create. If you believe and take the time required to form the necessary skills, whatever you want, do come true. However, you must also collect the essential resources to bring you there.

But the most important elements for impossible dreams to come into existence are the belief in yourself and your abilities to learn. Your beliefs determine your actions which in turn determine your results. So, if you do not believe you can succeed, then you will not reach your visions. Quite simple!

Realistic and Unrealistic
And when people tell you to be realistic, ignore them. In this world, all progress depends on those being unrealistic. The only reference people with limits have is some event or person that achieved something in the past. Those limitations were impossible dreams years before, yet someone realized them.

However, could you imagine what would happen if everyone only tries to achieve what others have already accomplished? I believe the human race would still be at the Stone Age.

So, it is a fact that you and I, all of us are born to brilliance and that success is achievable by anyone. If you read their biographies, most successful people or greatest performers are self-made and not born with a gift. Therefore, the only problem for most people is that, for some reason, they do not believe in themselves enough or for their dreams to come true.

Impossible Dreams Are Possible
If history teaches us anything, it is that when people assumed things are not achievable, some others preserve the impossible dreams alive. Those are the ones who still dreamed, making things possible so that it may come true over time. These pioneers did not listen to anyone who told them to be realistic. If they did, the world today would still be living in caves.

So, regardless of whether society considers it unrealistic, it is the pioneers, the misfits, and the mavericks who make it happen. They are the ones who follow their heart, stand up for an idea and go after it. It is these brave men and women who persistently push the limits of what the world believes possible. As a result, they are the people who end up remembered in history.

"Dream the impossible because dreams do come true." - Elijah Wood
All Can Come True
Playing it safe will bring you nowhere; it is only out of fear and ignorance that people do. In some situations, it may be good to do so. But most successful people will also tell you that you have to take some uneasy risks at times.

And so you have to make a choice, with incontestable belief. You need to give your impossible dreams a 'go,' or things will never happen, or even come true. Sometimes you have to take uncalculated risks to have what you want. You need to see it in your mind and work it into your reality.

And yes, life is like the art of drawing without an eraser. But life has lessons that no one teaches you in school. Instead, the education system makes you learn history by memorizing dates or events but never the real lesson.

A Story about Impossible Dreams
In November 1989, I told my mother that I was leaving for an international competition in the USA, but that this time I will not come back. The day after, I left my mother and my grandparents behind me, not knowing what lay ahead. Waving as I went, I saw her cry for me for the first time.

As we landed on the tarmac in New York, I could see, from the window of the plane, the Twin towers standing out in downtown. The horse vaulting competition took place but right after, taking advantage of a window of opportunity, I defected.

Being from the Soviet Union, I did not know anyone in this new country, had no place to stay or even a job to rely on. I only had a city name on a piece of paper and fifty dollars hidden in my pocket. And I did not even speak English. Impossible dreams you say. Yet I felt my gut tell me: hunt your dream!

Taking the Risk
And yes, I guess I was taking a high risk to make things come true, but I had nothing to lose. Instead, I had maybe a lot to gain. I soon took a bus to Atlanta, Georgia, then another one going south of the country. We were a Sunday, 5.30 in the morning, when I arrived at the little Greyhound station in Camden, South Carolina.

Outside in the cold, I said to myself "What should I do now?" So I decided to walk down the long street I was on called 'Fair Street.' As I was looking at the houses, my eyes flashed on a big white one, with two columns in front of it.

I felt my intuition telling me "Maybe you should knock at the door and ask for help." So after a minute of hesitation, following my feelings, I mustered my courage, went to the door and knocked. A girl wearing jeans came down the stairs. I could see her through the small glass windows of the front door where I was standing.

Man Holding Microphone

When Things Come True
She did not open the door right away but just asked me what I wanted. I could not speak English, so I got my Russian-English dictionary to find the words I desired to express. After a few minutes, I finally succeeded to make her understand that I wanted a job and a place to live. She seemed not surprised at my request.

Afterwards, the door opened, she let me in the hallway with my suitcase and asked me if I had different clothes to put on. But I could not understand her, so she opened my bag to find a pair of jeans. And when she saw them, she gave them to me saying that I had to wear them.

After changing my clothes, she told me to follow her. She asked me the line of work I was in. I said to her that I worked with horses and was a rider. Her face lit and explained to me that she was a horse farm manager. Suddenly, it all made sense. Impossible dreams do come true! I was at the right place at the right time.

A Life Changing Opportunity
We got in her car and during the ride to the horse farm where she worked; she tried to speak to me but without real success. Finally we arrived at a horse farm called "Sandy Dubose Farm." It was a very big and beautiful place where horses grew for horse racing.

My new friend named Mary Smith told me to wait. Then she left to talk to the owner to see if she could get me a job. She came back after fifteen minutes later, announcing to me that I was hired as an exercise boy, a morning jockey if you will. My work was to ride and train horses each morning.

The Horse farm owner loved European horse riders and was glad to have me on her team. My impossible dreams had led me to a life-changing opportunity. Yet, there was more to come. Mary told me that after work, we would look for a place to live, and she had a good idea of where.

Impossible Dreams Do Come True
The house where Mary was living in on Fair Street divided into four apartments. She lived on the second floor but there was no room for me as it was too small. But that across the hall from her lived another girl, Bridget. And as she had a two bedrooms apartment, she maybe needed a roommate to share the rent with her.

So we finished my first day at work, the horses being cleaned and fed, we went to another horse farm. It was where the other girl worked. We found her riding. Bridget was a pretty blonde with green eyes. After telling her my story, Mary asked her if she was interested in having a roommate, and she agreed.

And that is how, in a few hours' time, I got a job and a place to live in the United States. So never give up on your dreams because impossible dreams do come true if you want them hard enough.

You Can Do Anything
People often forget that life gives them countless of possibilities and choices. They are too busy in their day-to-day routine that they lose sight of what they can do if they put their minds to it. Understand that a vegetable seed has no other choice than to become a vegetable. Its fate is locked into that one reality. But you have infinite potential at your disposal. You can do anything you want.

  • Think any thought you desire.
  • Change careers.
  • Learn any language.
  • Travel to any country.
  • Learn any craft or skill.
  • Start any business.
  • Begin any project.

So, do not be afraid to have impossible dreams others think are unimaginable. Start working towards them. Be crazy in your dreams. Plan when you can. But remember that you have to take risks when you can't. To discover your true limits and what can come true, you do need to challenge your own beliefs about what is real or not.

Dreams Will Come True: Have Patience and Be Positive (By Gaurav Dua)

There is a famous quote: "All dreams come true someday".

Well, before I elaborate any further on this or share my philosophy on this quote.

Let me first take an opportunity to brief all my readers and set the context appropriately.

Let me also clarify that my thoughts are not referring to a common man achieving fame, status, adulation, wealth and becoming a Celebrity over night or a highly successful business tycoon or a renowned man or a strong, powerful politician.

I'm actually delighted to share my personal experiences and conclude that most of my dreams have come and have got fulfilled in some way or the other in this life.

I believe dreams are never small or big. They could be material, romantic or creative ones.

If I were to define dream, they are recurring desire, an intrinsic urge to achieve something or accomplish something one would cherish or has been looking forward to for quite some time.

You love to think and feel passionately about it, dream about it throughout the day, you are desperate to achieve it and are touched when someone talks about it. In short, it's your treasure and is dear to you. And the moment you visualize it has been achieved, you are on cloud nine, on seventh heaven.

The feeling is as joyous and special as climbing the Mount Everest or going to space or becoming a billionaire. It's a driving force that can make you work for hour's non-stop. It drives you to work hard, go that extra mile, and be optimistic even under most strenuous circumstances.

I have been dreaming about different things and here's an interesting list of my dreams that have come true till now.

I used to dream of having my own blog, writing my articles and posting them on my blog to inspire my near and dear ones. These articles getting acknowledged or certified by a website was like a step further, not seen in my dream though. I always wanted to write on variety of topics, something positive, to motivate myself and others without even an aorta of negativity or criticism like critics criticizing on any topic. I didn't discover my creative streak till the day I sat down and wrote a beautiful poem complimented by several people.

Featuring in an advertisement like a professional model was really wonderful. And it actually happened with me being able to get an advertisement on social media endorsing a safety campaign for a renowned car brand with a pivotal role in it with numerous compliments for my performance.

Being a health freak, I'm rather obsessed with health. Dream of taking up activities of fitness on ongoing basis - being able to do yoga, pranayama, Surya namaskar, aerobics, dance, joining a gym. Participating in a marathon was another reason of my happiness. It was a very pleasant experience to finish 5 Kms in just 25 mins and being in top 50 in the Marathon.

Being able to work in spiritual domain and counselling people to eliminate or at least reduce problems in their life is another example of a dream getting fulfilled.

Becoming a father of a beautiful daughter and having great fun playing with her every single day. The feelings, affection, love you get in this relationship cannot be described in words.

Being able to coach on personality development, Corporate World, Soft Skills thus influencing hundreds of young men and women to work positively towards their goals is nothing less than an achievement and a recurring dream coming true.

Working for a social cause and contributing towards welfare of our society. I'm thankful to God that I got a wonderful opportunity to work for a Non-Governmental organization thereby contributing towards a constructive cause of educating the poor children. A dream worth living a hundred lives.

Being invited to a Management Institute as Guest of Honour to share my professional journey with them. I was appreciated for being able to inspire them with my thoughts and experiences. I dreamt about this and it transformed into reality.

There is one golden rule which I have realized all these years. If you want your dreams to become reality, one has to be patient and have belief in oneself with a strong conviction and motivation to pursue these dreams.

Dreams have to be converted to reality by constantly working towards them. Working hard, putting in-efforts and consistently reminding yourself.

Another thing I would like to share is that I always convey my best wishes to people especially on their birth day "May God bless you and all your dreams come true". Wishing something positive for people at least your near and dear ones always helps. As our elders say, there is Goddess Saraswati sitting on our tongue. Whether you speak something nice or nasty, chances are it might come true. So, speak nice, positive and good for everyone. This Universe is made up of atoms. Positive atoms release positive energy and the impact multiplies and vice versa.

Pouring water to Sun is an excellent example of generating positive energy. Sun radiates and blesses this Universe with its abundant light, energy and power. Have positive vibes around you. Do things to have "feel good factor" and work in positive environment. This will nurture your brain, your morale, motivation levels and consequently your dreams. Stay away from negative people as they clutter your mind and might create obstacles in fulfilling your dreams.

Mythological finding also states: what you give, comes back to you. You donate, have noble thoughts, put-in sincere efforts, speak humble, and do good deeds. In reciprocation, good things will happen with you most of the time. You do bad karma, utter ugly words, bad will eventually follow you, your work gets spoiled and you suffer from negative thoughts.

Scientifically too, it has been proved time and again, negative energy sucks your mind, body and soul and results in loads of negativity. While, positive energy attracts positive thoughts. So, be positive encouraging, and cheerful. Things will fall in place sooner or later.

Lastly, dream big, have faith in your abilities and in the universe, keep reminding, so that the dreams remain in your sub conscious mind and some day you go beyond your dreams when you reach your destination. God bless!

Message From the Universe: Make All Your Dreams Come True

Man Wearing Blue Crew-neck Top

"Until you dream, there isn't a mold.

Until you speak, there isn't a promise.

And until you move, there isn't a path.

Yet do these simple things, and you totally own me.

Friendsters forever,
The Universe"

The Universe will always listen to what you strongly desire, as long as you provide clear indications to what you really want. It hates conflicting thoughts, so avoid these at all cost. Work on the positive ones primarily and even if a couple negative ones find its way into your mind, do not despair as they won't come true. Positive thoughts have more weight inside your subconscious mind than its counterpart. It will take a whole lot of negative thoughts to be implemented in your mind for things to come true. So here are the steps to make things happen.

First, you need to dream, and dream big. As big as it can go, to a point of fearing your dreams. You can share your dreams with others but make sure these people won't bring you down and discourage you to move forward. Hence, a good mentor is definitely a must throughout that process of sharing these dreams. Now, without actions, these dreams are just going to be left out as dreams, and nothing else then just an idea that anyone can have but not do anything about. So do you want to be like everyone else? I think NOT.

Second, when taking action, you need to believe. You can't allow contradicting thoughts to not believe in yourself when bringing these dreams to reality. The belief is a crucial element to let the Universe know that you will do WHATEVER it takes to get things going and reaching your goals. You will allow the Universe to pay attention to what you want to do and give you that extra nudge to get to the next level. Never allow anyone or anything to stop you from reaching your destination. Many can't get there because they let fear take over their dreams, so make sure not to be one of them. Dream big, take action but most importantly, BELIEVE IN YOURSELF.

Message From the Universe: May All Your Dreams Come True

"When you look around you at those in the world who flourish, thrive, laugh, and love; those whose lives are filled with friendships, adventure, and abundance... aren't they, more often than not, first and foremost, the dreamers?

You so have it made,
The Universe"

Dreams, thoughts, fantasies are all synonymous words for something that you thrive to obtain. Before you act on any of them, you have that burning desire that you deserve you hard earned dreams because your subconscious mind feels that this is how your life should be. Let's use a little bit of psychology here. Someone who suffers from low self-esteem/them-esteem will encounter a different problem as mentioned above. There will be no sense of deserving anything, which will probably amount to accepting negative outcome coming into your life. This, in return, will allow you to think less of yourself and the cycle continues. You are entitled to dream whatever you want, so if that is the case, why not dream big? All the ones who have become successful, living a life of abundance and thriving to be better people all started with a dream and positive thought. As mentioned in a previous posts, prior to the Big Bang, the Universe was in a point of singularity before it exploded and created everything we see today, our galaxies, planets and stars. If theoretical physicist concluded that all of this Big Bang and Big Crunch happened prior to 14 billions years ago, we are living a cycle in which have probably been repeated for trillion of years. We can assume that the beginning of creation isn't really when the Big Bang occurred, but probably long time before that. Our Hubble telescope can only see as much as the beginning of the big bang, but if we are on a cycle, all of what we see in our Universe happened long time before that.

I can go on and share with you my knowledge in cosmology, but then again, I am not focusing on my original point. When you dream or think positively, you are changing your purpose in life. Before thinking of changing the world around you, it is crucial to change yourself from within. There is no reason as to why you should doubt yourself and not allow great things happening into your life. Open your eyes, see your potential, feel that you deserve the things you work so hard for and act on your thoughts. By doing so, you will start seeing changes happening, even if these changes are very small. When looking to lose weight, you can't expect reaching your ideal weight in a week right? It needs hard work, time and determination. The same goes with your mental and spiritual life. Mindful meditation should be incorporated into your life on a daily basis and focusing on yourself and your happiness, all of what you wished and dreamed for will eventually come.

Message From the Universe: Make Your Dreams Come True

Image result for be happy

"Q: What would you call a world where each challenge bears gifts, your enemies are ancient friends in disguise, and by simply pretending your dreams have already come true, mountains are moved?

A: Earth.

Too easy?
The Universe"

Even though you do not see great things happening in your life just yet, it is important that you are feeling the excitement that it will happen soon. You need to look at everything you always wished and know for certainty that it will happen in your lifetime. You want to believe that all will happen, and with the strong sentiment that your success is very close by, anything great can happen in your day. You will start perceiving life with a more upbeat attitude. Your attitude will change as you start feeling the chills in your body when you go visit your exotic car dealer. You start looking at homes and which one you feel like purchasing in the next coming 6 months. Everything around you seems to be changing for the best because your approach to life has changed. No more negativity is entering your mind as it did before and you are enjoying this new side of you. You want to enjoy every single moment of this process as the reality will soon start to kick in. The famous adage: "Be careful what you wish for" will be in full motion as you will start experiencing what the rich and famous deals with every single day of their lives. Be ready for an exciting adventure.

It is not THAT difficult to think of success in your life. You simply need to have your thoughts aligned with your beliefs, put actions into your thoughts and allow the Universe to clearly understand what you are looking for. Patience is a must during this phase because even though you may believe that you deserve success today, the Universe might feel differently about the timing. However, by seeing how persistent you are and the level of determination you possess, there is no reason why you can't expedite the process and send a clear and concise message to the Universe that you are ready for the Big Bang of your success. It has no other choice to oblige to your demands. Allow the Universe to work with you when it comes to aligning everything the right way for you to experience greatness. There is no rule of thumbs that all positive people will experience positive things and negative people will experience negative. However, why not put the odds in your favor and focus on the positive and let the rest unravel in front of you. I am sure that you will see changes that will happen either sooner or later, but they will happen. Don't abandon the ship without having the certainty that it will sink. Sometimes, your success is so close by that your continuous pursue it essential to experience it. Keep on digging until you reach the gold, as long as you've done your research that gold is actually there.

Believing Dreams Will Come True (By Maria Gemma Hilotin)

Until when will you believe? What if you did everything you could, while believing, and still nothing's happening? What will you do?

A. Let go?

B. Continue believing?

C. Work on something else?

I read somewhere that writing your goals will make it real for you. So, one time in December 2012, I wrote my goals, with a timeline. I felt superman powers that day that I thought by just writing all my very specific goals down (date with events), God will hear it and He will make it come true for me! Yes, like magic!

I believed that.

I believed it truly that every day, I'd look at my list and would excitedly imagine it happening soon! Every morning I'd read my list and I'd pray for it.

Do you know what happened? Two out of the seven items came true! And guess what?! with exact time (month and year) and events!

Was it magic? Was it just perfect timing? Was it pure luck? or Was it because I believed?

What do you think?

But, you know what? to this day I have not let go. I continue to believe that my five other items will come true soon!

I have to tell you though that even if I'd look at my list still, daily, and pray for it, I made sure to leave my concerns, worries and issues in God's hands.

Sister Teresa of Calcutta heard the voice of God while traveling by train, she believed it. She said it was a call within a call that she was to serve the poor in the slums. She asked permission, and even if it took a while for the permission to be granted, she didn't lose hope. She said, it wasn't her will, it's God's will. She continued to believe, and the rest was history.

It is fun to dream! It is fun to look ahead and see the possibilities that are in store for us! It is fun to believe!
As the days passed by in December 2012 and no event was happening, I knew there was nothing I could do if it wasn't time yet. It will never be because I will it, it was all about God's will, all according to His perfect timing.

Friends, there are three important things to think about here:

First, I hope we learn to let go. Not to let go of our dreams, but to let go of worrying, anxiety and self-righteousness. If it is meant to be, God will make all our dreams come true for us. Right?

Second, I hope we will continue to believe in the beauty of our dreams. There will be a lot of times when we feel nothing is happening, but I believe that something within has started to grow, it just hasn't shown in reality yet, but it is coming. It is coming soon!

Third, I hope we won't get fixated that we forget to work on something else! Enjoy life! Show up! Have fun! There is more to life than our dreams! Do something else! Embrace life's other surprises!

I thank God for options and alternatives.

My five items didn't happen as planned. There were a lot of detours, diversions, stopovers, interruptions, challenges, and threats.

But, looking back now, it was beautiful! It was beautiful because it also came with a lot of hope, opportunities, lessons, joy and awesome surprises!

Just like Sister Teresa of Calcutta, let us not lose hope.

If God meant our dreams to come true, it will be in an easy and relaxed manner, in His perfect timing and for the highest good of all.

May all our dreams be blessed.

The Secrets of Making Your Dreams a Reality

Can you really make your dreams come true, yes you can, enough people have already done just that, me included. So what is the magic formula? A burning desire, belief, courage to follow through, visualization and a plan of action.

Over the years I have achieved a number of dreams, the first when I was left with 3 children to bring up, I needed work that fitted around children. Teaching was the perfect answer, but I had no qualifications. Within 5 months I had 6 passes and an art portfolio, and had accepted a place in a teachers training college, which meant travelling 70 miles a day. It wasn't easy and took some planning and determination but I did it; 3 years later I qualified.

So how badly do you want your dream? This is the first step, you must want it with a passion, a burning desire. Have you thought through the end result? If you have more than one dream, be sure they do not compromise each other, or it is like driving with breaks on you will go around in circles. Also be sure that it is really what you want.

Belief: Do you really believe it is possible for you to achieve your dream?

These two elements have to become the centre-pin of your daily thoughts, both a burning desire and having the courage and determination to follow through. You must "know without a doubt you will do it". Once you have built that belief and passion, hold on to it and your dreams will have wheels and you are well on your way.

Visualization: You must see the desired result in your imagination in every spare moment, dwell on it. It will almost become an obsession.

Plan of action: You must decide when your dream will happen, decide on a future date to give your dream substance. A plan of action, how you can achieve your dream, what steps are required. You may have to raise cash to fulfil it, or decide when and how family commitments will allow it etc.

Then every night and morning and spare moments visualise the dream completed, make it as real as possible. Believe it will happen and trust your subconscious to help you bring it to fruition.

A few years ago I had two more dreams; to winter somewhere warm and to set up an online business.

I now have an affiliate marketing hobby business which I can work anywhere with a laptop and internet connection, and we are wintering in Spain on the Costa Calida; where we bought a house near the beach, and within a few miles there are several beautiful beaches. The midday temperature has scarcely fallen below 20 degrees which is perfect.

We had to find a way to do this, so my daughter lives in the house and we have a mobile home near fishing lakes for the summer months in England. We now have the best of both situations, warm winters, and England at its best in summertime.

If you would like the freedom of working anywhere with your laptop, affiliate marketing is the answer. Enlist the guidance of a mentor, who will provide products, sales pages and training, leaving you to collect commissions for your efforts, and you will be earning whilst you are learning the techniques. You can then work at home wherever home is!

How Do I Make My Dreams Come True

Girls on White Red Jersey Playing Hand Game
Why do some people achieve their dreams and other don't? Well there are a few ingredients to help your dreams come true. A bit like making a cake leave out the eggs and your cake won't be a cake, well not a very edible one. The same with achieving dreams put the right things in the mix for a good result. These are the things that have helped me:

Belief - you have to really believe, without a doubt that your dream is possible for you to achieve. The more you dwell on it the more you bring it into focus and into your life.

Plan - you have to make a plan of how it can be achieved. For example if it takes money, how will you raise the money; if it takes time, how will you fit it into your life. There are only 24 hours in anyone's day, something may have to be dropped to give you the time needed.

When - is it the right time for it to come to fruition; this year, next year, in 5 years time? You may have current commitments now but that doesn't stop you making a start. You need time for the dream to grow from an idea to your desired outcome. From little acorns, oak trees grow!

Desire - you must develop a burning desire or passion to achieve your dream, to grow it from a fleeting wish to a dream come true.

Action - then of course take action, or it will remain a wish that will wither and die, leaving you with regrets Nothing changes until you change and take action.

It is possible to make dreams come true, it does take effort, consistent effort, but if you build your desire and belief sufficiently it won't feel like effort as "whatever it takes" is bringing you nearer to your dream. As the desire and excitement grows it becomes an unstoppable force, so be sure before you begin your dream is really what you want. When your desire is strong it keeps you on track when you stumble.

A number of years ago I met a young girl, whose life revolved around a wheel chair. It hadn't always been like that she used to be fit and healthy, but one day she awoke with no feeling or use in her legs and lower body. Overnight she had become a paraplegic. Despite medical intervention nothing could be done to help her.

Everyday for years she stood for a while in a wooden frame with the help of carers, she was determined she would walk again and has never stopped believing.

The last I heard she had raised enough money for stem cell treatment, and went abroad for treatment. The good news is feeling has begun again in her legs. She had belief and a strong desire, visualised the end result, without knowing the exact development in medical research; she didn't give up however impossible it felt for years. You can achieve your dreams too! Are you determined enough?

Now in comparison my dreams: to start an online business, work at home and winter in the sun, sound quite tame but I'm doing all those things and loving every minute. Whatever your dreams, they are your dreams and just as important to you.

What are your dreams? Do you have enough courage and belief to achieve them? Is your desire burning hot, do you think about your dreams every day and visualize the end result.

I love my new lifestyle, if you too would like to set up an online business, affiliate marketing is the answer if you are looking for a simple way to begin online. With a mentor providing your products and training you can begin earning whilst you are learning the techniques. Turn your hobby into an online business.

This Simple Morning Ritual Primes Your Brain for Success

Gratitude can make your dreams come true. Here's how.

Want this to be the year you finally achieve some of your biggest goals? It can be--if you get your subconscious mind on board. That advice comes from May McCarthy, serial entrepreneur, angel investor, and author of The Path to Wealth
"Good leaders know that for a company to run successfully, managers must set specific, measurable goals and act on any opportunities presented to achieve them," McCarthy explains. "However, just setting the goals is not enough; holding regular planning sessions and reviewing goals is vital for success. The same is true for individual success. Attaining your goals requires identifying clear, specific, and tangible goals and consistently focusing our attention and intention on them."
Once you've established your goals, she says, it's just as important to schedule regular (she recommends daily) planning meetings with yourself. This helps you not only review your path toward your goals so far and plan next steps, it also implants those goals and plans in your subconscious mind, giving you a very powerful ally.
Ready to give it a try? Here's what to do:

1. Put yourself on your calendar.

"Treat your morning meeting with your inner self seriously," McCarthy advises. Begin by choosing a space that's free of distractions. Make sure you have the materials you'll need: an uplifting book that describes others' successes achieving their goals, and a pen and notebook.

2. Read something that inspires you.

Spend the first five minutes of your "meeting" reading something that inspires you. "As you read about the success of others, your mind will look for ways to make those kinds of successes familiar and normal for you," McCarthy says.

3. Write a gratitude letter.

Spend the next 10 minutes writing a gratitude letter. "Be grateful for the good things already in your life, as well as the things you hope to have soon," McCarthy says. "Psychologists agree that gratitude and happiness help you be more focused and able to solve problems."
To get your subconscious mind on board, she says, "Express gratitude for what you have and also what you want as though you have already received it." Giving thanks for what you don't yet have creates cognitive dissonance. Your subconscious mind will seek to resolve that dissonance by looking for ways to make your goal come true, thus making your statement a reality.

4. Read your gratitude letter out loud.

This may seem awkward and embarrassing, even if you're by yourself, but give it a try anyway. "Studies have shown that when we read something out loud, we anchor it into our subconscious, which will help us to notice more possibilities to make our statements true," McCarthy says.

5. Visualize reaching your goals.

Spend up to five minutes with your eyes closed imagining your goals achieved. What will that look like and feel like? Who will be there with you?
"Olympic athletes use this technique as part of their training," McCarthy says. "They see themselves making the shot, winning the competition, celebrating with teammates and family. If you want to win and achieve your goals, see yourself doing so first."

6. Now, listen to your subconscious mind.

Finishing the above five steps should take between 20 and 25 minutes. Once you've done them, go ahead and start your day, McCarthy says. "Your subconscious mind will begin to do its job."
Often, that job will take the form of intuitions and hunches that you can't necessarily explain. Be on the lookout for those intuitions, and for unexpected leads and opportunities, McCarthy advises. That might mean calling someone whose name comes to mind out of the blue, or following a spontaneous urge to go somewhere that wasn't in your plans. Once, she says, she followed a gut instinct and drove 15 minutes out of her way. She wound up running into a potential customer, an encounter that later resulted in a contract worth more than $400,000.
"Some of these might not seem to make sense," she says. "But as Steve Jobs said, 'Have the courage to follow your heart and intuition.'"
