Unleash the Magic in YOU

Do you believe in Magic? These old and ancient traditions of magic were grounded in esoteric wisdom, working with the powers of the mind and forces of nature to face forward and bring the principles of S.U.C.C.E.S.S. into our lives. Magic has been around for a long time; the oldest and most secret of these magic forms is Huna magic, the Hawaiian word for "secret."

Huna magic is made of seven principles that pair alongside the seven principles of S.U.C.C.E.S.S. that drives Face Forward Life S.U.C.C.E.S.S. Each of these principles drives growth, manifestation, and magic alchemy manifestation that will help transform your intentions thanks to the kupua tradition.

Seven Principles of Huna

Face Forward Life S.U.C.C.E.S.S.

The world is what you think it is.

S => Story

There are no limits.

U => Unity

Energy flows where attention goes.

C => Current

Now is the moment of power.

C => Contrast

To love is to be happy with.

E => Equanimity

All power comes from within.

S => Strategy

Effectiveness is the measure of truth.

S => System

These seven principles represent the power of bringing magic inside of you. Each of these principles work to transform the struggle and clutter of your daily life into an energized and powerful path forward. Through meditation and meaningful practice in these Manifestation Evolutionary Stable Systems, you can make your M.E.S.S. Your magic and focus on your Huna and S.U.C.C.E.S.S. principles to help guide your life.

We all can use some magic sprinkled in our life. To use any kind of magic one must know their end game. A clarity on what we seek is a necessity in manifesting. You can seek out clarity through alpha meditation, a tool that will help produce a deep state of mind and retrain your brain to healthy happiness and hard work. Alpha meditation reduces stress and anxiety, reduces impulsivity and addictions, increases happiness and optimism, and increases life satisfaction. A deeply renewing alpha meditation will help you thrive, moving into a stage of magic alchemy manifestation and facing life with happiness and energy.

Distractions will come and go. They appear throughout our lives and lead us to dissipation, dependence, depression, diabetes, and disease, but through expectancy, Face Forward S.U.C.C.E.S.S, and recognizing our truths, we can ground ourselves in the present and work our way towards peace and expectancy.

Thriving through disfiguring life-threatening head/neck cancer broke the world of Magic Alchemy Manifestation wide open. I had to harness all the best luminescence practices to live. Not only did I live, my friends, I learned to create miracles. And that is what I want to share, all that is RIGHT about Y.O.U.

Applying Your Power in Everyday Magic

When you take control of your focus, you apply your power and move energy through everyday magic. That's Magic Alchemy Manifestation at its most basic level of application. When you move energy, you create change. You are blessed with free-will, which you can use to consciously design the life you desire. An everyday magic tip you can use to help shape your manifestation and energy to focus on expecting more good to come into your life no matter what. Building a high degree of enjoyment energy and not only motivation but desire energy will help you stay grounded in yourself and your own happiness.

Use your concentration and begin to direct the show. Stand in your power. Thoughts cloak themselves in emotions, but first comes the power of your thought. Recognize the habitual patterns of thoughts that affect your feelings. We can be whatever we want, we just have to decide. You are what you are today because of the choices you made over many yesterdays. Tomorrow you will be what you are creating today. Emphasize the good in Y.O.U. and others.

Think about positive qualities and they will grow. This is a secret of happiness: accept that you have to continually improve your way of thinking and feeling. Always and forever more, when you feel bad, reach for the better feeling.

Shift consciousness from one feeling to another. enjoyment energy comes from the degree of pleasure you experience from seeing, hearing, doing, feeling and imagining what you like. The level of excitement is a measure of the level of energy that feeds your expectation of more good. A decent metaphor would be that of turning yourself into a powerful magnet for good. Enjoyment energy is a straight line of Divine Design Shine. It is the most direct route to happiness.

You choose what you emphasize. Consciously make degree shifts along the pole of contrast toward the positive perception. Improve the quality of your experience. You no longer permit circumstances to dictate how you feel. Attitude is everything; it is your state of mind and feeling. How you look at the world dictates your attitude.

Your attitude dictates your circumstances. It is not what happens to you but how you see it that counts. Is your attitude helping you or hurting you? Along with the focus and energy aspects of this way, you must go beyond adaptability into recognizing the good, seeking the good, and even finding a way to create the good out of everything that happens. In this way, therefore, bad things never happen. Things may happen that you don't like, but when they do you use them as an opportunity to increase the good, in yourself or in the world.

Magical Thinking Magical Life

The Absence of Magic

If your everyday life is driving you crazy, if you feel that you're stuck in a rut that you had no idea existed until you found yourself at the bottom of it, then you're probably thinking in the way your parents thought and generations before them. Our teaching about how life is has developed over thousands of years, and in truth is not just outdated, it's impersonal.

You are not your parents or grandparents, you are a unique individual, and falling into the birth - school - work - mortgage - retirement trap can be soul destroying, yet people feel desperate and stay put because subconsciously it's safer.

Instant Upending

If you're one of those people being driven crazy by your everyday reality, don't for one second think of throwing everything upside down immediately and making a mad dash for freedom and excitement. You probably have responsibilities, a job, a mortgage, and you don't want to destroy your life you want to improve it.

Instead start thinking carefully about the life of your dreams, don't worry about how practical those dreams are or how you might make them happen. First work out what would be the happiest possible life, then expand out and start thinking about what actions to take.

My personal preference is to use a mind-map and put 'happiness' in the centre, then add anything that, to me, leads to happiness. Once I have the top-level sorted out I then look at each item and see what I need to do in order to achieve that change.

Once you have created a vision you can start creating a step-by-step plan for permanent, positive change.

One Step at a Time

It's tempting to rush at change like a bull at a gate, but if you want to achieve a successful outcome it's better to take a small step, test it out, tweak it or accept it, and then move on.

Don't worry that this sounds like a slow process, it's better to be slow, steady, and successful, than do too much too quickly, fail and give up.

So Many Complications

You may feel that so much is wrong it's impossible to put it right, and I understand that. There was a time in my life when absolutely nothing was working, I was in the wrong place, the wrong house, the wrong job, the wrong marriage, with many wrong people. It took me time to work out where to start, but it was well worth it.

I started with earning enough money to take care of myself and then worked out the rest from there. I needed to move out of my marriage and believed, correctly as it transpired, that no one would help me I would have to help myself. So finance was key to success, and I was successful.

The Magic Answer

We all look for magic answers outside of us, but change will only happen if you believe that change is possible, and if you're ready to do the dreaming, visualising, and taking of actions that will bring about the change.

You might feel that other people know best about you, and people will certainly be happy to share their ideas of who you are, and often have different viewpoints, but if you want to be successful you're going to need to get to know yourself and trust yourself first and foremost. Advice from others is sensible, but at the end of the day it has to feel right to you, and it's very easy to become confused about who you are if you ask too many people.

Always remember that people might have a vested interest in seeing you in the way they do, the only thing that's important is that when you look in a mirror you see you, and you trust you.

Keep Going

If you're going to do this you're going to face hurdles, just take a breath and deal with each one. People will tell you that you cross those bridges when you come to them, and that can sound daunting, just think of the bridges as bridges from a present you don't want to a future you do want, rather than problems. Just steps forward.

Good luck, be strong, trust yourself, create the life you want.

You are the only magician who can change your life!

Dabble! You Have To Start Somewhere (By Sarah Schwab)

Close-up of Beer Bottles on Wood

"If you hear a voice within you say 'you cannot paint,' then by all means paint and that voice will be silenced." - Vincent Van Gogh

Content can take many forms. Of course it can be written, but now it can also be on video, podcasts, teleclasses, webinars, blabs, periscopes, the list goes on and on.

New platforms and new ways of creating content can be intimidating.

Saying "I can't... " is a surefire way to guarantee that you won't create something, that you won't grow, that you won't make a difference.

Even Van Gogh wasn't born being a professional painter. He had to start somewhere.

Dabble!

As adults, we often stop ourselves from trying new things because we think we won't be good at them immediately. We have high expectations right from the beginning. And that often means we never give ourselves the chance to try and to learn and to improve.

To dabble in something has a different feeling.

When we dabble, we lower our expectations. We give ourselves some space to just give it a shot.

Painting Bars

There is a great bar in Milwaukee that serves up canvases with their drinks. (They do sessions led by artists, and other cool things too).

One night, I was there with my husband during "Gallery Night." It was a public event in the area, so lots of people were out and about checking out places in the neighborhood. A couple of guys walked into this bar and ordered a beer.

One of them looked skeptically at the people who were painting, including me, and asked what was going on.

The bar tender explained how it worked and offered him a canvas and some paint. But he declined with a half smile that looked simultaneously embarrassed and "too cool."

But he kept watching other people painting. His friend encouraged him to give it a try. And finally he said, "Okay, why not?"

It was such a treat to watch him (and eventually my husband too!) dabble in the world of painting, something they had zero experience with.

And the result?

It turned out to be a lot more fun than they thought, and the end product was far better than they ever expected.

That's the magic!

Now, those men may never paint another picture again. But they can no longer say that they "can't" do it.

New Possibilities

This painting bar has grown a successful day-time business of hosting corporate groups for team-building and leadership events. It's hugely popular because when people are made to dabble in something outside their norm, new possibilities open up.

They become more vulnerable. They support each other differently. They take risks in ways they otherwise might not.

Many years ago, I thought that when I started my own business, it would be one of those "Paint Your Own Pottery" shops because I love encouraging and witnessing people dabble in new forms of creativity.

Now I do that in a different way, working with entrepreneurs on creating content. The similarities are striking.

Rather than stepping up to a blank canvas, you are stepping up to a blank computer screen or a video camera or a smart phone. In any of these cases you must be willing to put something on it and see what happens.

When you start by dabbling, you open the way toward improvement, new creations, and growth.

What is the thing you've been wanting to try for a while but haven't done it? How can you dabble in it? Get started!

The Thought That Resonates

Vibration. The most powerful force there is. It seems to work like magic, but it is not. It is what we with our free will create from the ground up through our actions upon reality. Like something being built, our vibrations create what we are and what we do. Sure, we can say something like "it just happened to be" or "there is not any explanation", but we would be lying to ourselves so fully that we would not know anything that is going on in any way unless we do admit that it all does come down to vibration.

Sure, that is blunt reality, but what else does matter in any way? Nothing else does. I remember Paramahansa Yogananda and his quote: "Every human wish finds ultimate fulfillment." I see what he meant now, and the way he meant it: I think he should have said that every genuine vibration from the ground up meets ultimate fulfillment. Actions from a deep place are always somehow fulfilled. Have you ever noticed that? Only the shallowest actions are like the low tide of the ocean, doing nothing but making a little temporarily wet sand on the beach that dries normally. In thought, every genuinely energetic from the inside person is a strong vibration like positive tsunami waves that blow across a beach powerfully and memorably. Real power is controlling your vibrations fully without let up or fear of what others think.

Although Abraham Lincoln was a politician, he had one valuable quote: "People are about as happy as they make up their minds to be." He was right about that. The power is always in the reality though. With thought and concentrated action on that thought, all things are possible. We are as happy and honest as we make up our minds to be really. The virtue of life is in living and not avoiding it. So many live by what others think and think that they are living when they find they skipped what they really wanted in life. The love of life makes you vibrate strongly to what you genuinely and really want and need. In fact, I can honestly say that is the real championship of it all, that genuine, permanent happiness that works for you. Not some outer trophy, or even an ultimate win on the outside, but to borrow the Dr. Bert Mandelbaum, M.D. book title for a moment: The Win Within. So, I end with a couple of questions: How do you live your life? Are you an inner driven person or an outer driven person? Do not answer me, answer yourself.

Follow Your True Calling In Life

How important it is to follow your true calling in life is one of the greatest secrets you can ever discover. Out of the blue, your world begins to open up. Events, opportunities, chances and even people who you thought impossible, start to show up as if by magic. Yet, most people ignore it.
So, why do people disregard their real purpose? What is stopping you from doing what you love? How could you ever make a living from it?

Most of us have not just one, but multiple passions in life. However, we are repeatedly educated with the notion that we are supposed to go to school, get a good job and work until we retire. Since countless generations, our brains are wired with this concept on how we are supposed to live our lives.

So, it is no surprise as to why so many people are unhappy in life. Sadly, most do not follow their real reason for living in this world. I agree such path can be either unclear or confusing for a lot of them. But it should not stop you or be the reason why you do not follow your true calling in life, no matter how bizarre it may be.

Why the Need for True Calling
The message I want to convey to you is indeed straightforward. It is your life; so it is essential to do what you love. The hardest thing is to decide to do it and make the first step. All of my life, I went from one job to another, always walking away from following my true calling in life.

And I realized early on that I was not pursuing my real purpose, but instead kept on the wrong path. Just as I did, most of us figure this out when we have our midlife crisis. I knew some people would not understand my decisions and think I was a bit crazy. But I also knew I had to make a change.

When you follow your true calling in life, there is no more fight as you look at yourself in the mirror each morning. We all are going to die, so why not follow your heart and do what you love.

Ignoring True Calling
Working unpleasant jobs undoubtedly helped me pay my bills. But with each position I got, I recognized early on that I was not doing meaningful work. Instead, it felt after a while, like I resented the work I was doing and rapidly lost interest in putting my heart and soul into it.

Therefore, you have to pursue your dreams and follow your heart. You have to go for it, with no intention of turning back. And believe me, at that moment, your life will begin to change.

So, it is essential to follow your true calling in life. You need to understand that your life is not just about you. It is also about contributing to other living beings. And it is about living true to your mission and reason for being here on earth. Lastly, it also is about adding your piece of the puzzle to the world.

Discover Your Purpose
First, take the time to sit down and write out what your dream day and life would look like. Write where you would be living, who you would be with, and how you would feel. Then put down everything that you want to accomplish in your life.

Afterwards, write down what you want to give back to the world and everything that would make your life and the world a better place. You might be surprised at what you discover about your true calling. And maybe, you need to make a few hard changes in your life which at times can be scary.

But these changes will help you in achieving the goals which line up with your real passion and find your purpose in life.

How to Follow Your True Calling
Next, it is crucial to have a vision of what you want for your future. You have to imagine where you want to be in one, three, five and ten years. While doing so seems a little frightening because you do not know how you are going to get there, it still is the step you have to take.

Bits of the vision you may have of your true calling might change as you grow and evolve. But you need to keep moving forward by making adjustments. With your end destination in mind, take small steps to get there.

Change Your Mindset
The idea of a true calling and purpose can become overwhelming and apparently impossible that our brain often decides for us. You have to break and modify your mindset, or you will continue to follow your current habits. They prevent you from taking any step to transform your life.

Take Small Actions
So, think about the first step or a small action that you can take to start achieving your purpose and make the necessary change in your life.

Sit Quietly with Your True Calling
It is imperative to have a place where you can quickly travel and peacefully sit when you need to think clearly. Just sit there, meditate on your thoughts and your life will slowly start to make sense.

Look for the Path of Purpose
You have to look for work that would lead you on the road of your purpose and closer to your true calling. And always have a vision of what you want your life to look like in the future.

Make True Calling Plans
It is essential that you take the time to make a plan for one year and more. You have to break your vision down and plan what you would like to achieve. Make plans for the month to come, in the next three months, as well as in the year so you can turn your true calling into a possible outcome.

Get Inspired
You need to start hanging out with like-minded people. Begin by listening to podcasts, reading articles and books, watching videos, and traveling to places that will continue to inspire you.

Start Living Your True Calling
You have to begin taking steps today that will bring you closer to living the life that is your real purpose. I know that you have so much potential to do amazing things in your life and even have the ability to make the world a better place.

But if you do not know your true calling, you first have to discover who you are, what you love, and what you want to achieve in your life. And then take actions that will lead you on the right path. Animal causes and rights are my passion, and purpose in life because when I look in their eyes, I do not only see an animal or a pet. I see a living being, a friend and a soul who needs a voice.

Of all the things one can be obsessed with in this world, animals are by far my true calling. Everyone learns that angels have wings. Yet, the lucky ones of us discover that very often they have four paws. Not only do animals live in our homes, but also in our skies, in our oceans, in our mountains as wells as in our forests. We have to respect their place in this world.

A Final Word
Yes, the path of true calling is not always easy, yet the results can lead to something remarkable. Remember, people who are successful are the ones who never quit. So follow your true calling and begin to take actions that are going to push you to make an impact in this world.

A Scientific View Of The Law Of Attraction

Since the airing of "The Secret", countless individuals across the globe have desired to fully understand the law of attraction. Thousands of people browse the Internet every day to find out more on ways to utilize this universal law to get more of the important things they desire in their lives. Maybe you are among them.

But there are also people who have actually misinterpreted the fundamental property behind this concept. In truth, it is still not completely understood, even by the big teachers. Those who do not understand, think it has something to do with the supernatural or magic. That is not what the law of attraction is about.

It is more along the lines of something called electromagnetic attraction. In physics, this is what holds the planets in our solar system in place. In the mental world, it's what draws individuals to each other.

In your every day life, every thing that enters your experience is there by attraction. You actually bring occasions, situations, people, and things into your experience.

This is why it has been so difficult to grasp and understand. In ancient times, individuals thought that the sun would enter into the ocean at the end of every day. Now we understand better than that. We know that it is an illusion due to our context.

We tend to think that things just occur to us by possibility or that maybe someone or something outside of ourselves is rewarding or penalizing us. Lots of people have strong beliefs around this, and whether they recognize it or not, they are accountable for everything that is going on in their lives.

In quantum physics, researchers have found that the tiniest particles of matter seemed to defy all reasoning and guidelines that we have actually come to know in our physical world. We simply couldn't figure out exactly what was going on there.

But then we started to notice that these tiny sub-atomic particles behaved in a different way when they were being observed. The simple act of observing triggered these particles to behave in a different way. That is considerable. It shows that what we consider being 'set in stone' can really be changed according to our own inner vibration.

Think about that for a minute.

Law of attraction states like attracts like. There is still much to find out about quantum physics and the law of attraction, and it is evident that these concepts can be utilized to get rid of restricting beliefs and obstacles.

What People Falsely Believe About Destiny

Image result for Letting go

I'm tired of hearing people going on about how they were "meant" for something, and about how something was "meant" to be.

Because...

"Meant" by who or what? And when? And why? Is everyone and everything "meant" for something? Or is it only certain situations? Are the resulting actions thereof also "meant" for something? And the resulting consequences of those actions? Etc.

How many couples head over heels in love with each other would say they're "meant" for each other? How many times have you heard someone say this about their current infatuation?

(Hell, maybe you've even been in a relationship like that.)

... And then a couple of years later they break up after months of deteriorating sex and bickering over mundane problems.

Oops.

It seems it's one of those sayings that doesn't hold up to the simplest of scrutiny or logic. Try doing some basic, reasoned questioning the next time someone talks about someone being "meant" for something.

They're not gonna be able to provide satisfactory answers.

Why do we still seem to entertain the notion that anyone or anything can somehow be "meant" for something?

While I don't know, I'm fairly certain the answer has a couple of components to it...

  • It's one of those things that people say without giving it any thought. Such sayings permeate our language. (No one is being literal when they tell someone to "get bent", either.)
  • For thousands of years, our ancestors have believed in magic and the idea of an omnipotent creator of everything, often one who made a "divine plan" for us. -- Simply because they didn't know any better.
  • It's a deceitfully easy way of looking at the world. Because ultimately it supports the idea that we're not in charge of our lives, and that we don't have responsibility for our actions.

While there are interesting aspects to every point, we can potentially learn the most from the last one. Because it tells us about how we tend to shun responsibility in even the tiniest of ways.
"But that's not what I meant at all!" No, of course not. But from a purely semantic standpoint, it's actually pretty much what you're getting at. Albeit unintentionally.

"But God gave us free will!" Sure. And Apollo could predict the future, and Thor had a magic hammer, and Noah was 950 years old when he died.

Look. If something is predestined for anything beyond the scope of human will and control, it is, by definition, not subject to human influence. However we act towards it becomes futile and meaningless. All considerations about the source of "destiny" aside, if everything is "destiny", it means we're not in charge of our lives.

While I do believe that there's no inherent meaning to anything other than what makes sense to the beholder at any given time, what truly empowers us is the very appointing of said meaning. Acknowledging that there is no meaning but what we appoint to things when we make a decision, take a stand and choose a path for ourselves.

And then, of course, we need to do it. We need to realize that there's no sensible reason to believe that anything beyond our own, inherent human traits and nature somehow "destines" anyone for anything.

We need to realize that we have the ability to be proactive and creative in building our lives; that challenges can always be overcome, and that we need not settle for anything or take anything for granted.

And that very insight is true liberation.

How to Teach People How to Treat You

Are you bombarded with obnoxious behavior from people in your everyday life. You don't need to suffer in silence for this. Show them how you want to be treated and they will treat you the same. What magic actually lies in here? Read on to find out.

The simple magic is that you treat people in a way you would like to be treated. Treat them with love, compassion, empathy and kindness. Leave them with a gorgeous smile of yours. How can they treat you badly after this? You will soon find the reflection of you in them.

Sometimes it's not you but others who react with anger and rude behavior, without letting you know what it is all about. It then becomes hard to decipher them. Ask them if there is some problem. If they refuse to cooperate, stay aloof and don't pay them attention. It will then be the case that they will be running after you to hold a gentle conversation.

Too many a time, other horrible incidents in people's lives make them behave badly towards you. It totally isn't your fault. In that case say as little as possible and outdistance yourself. You don't need to lose your mind talking to these people under such circumstances. You know they had a hard day. Say something polite and buzz away. And forgive them because they are not themselves at the moment. The next time you meet them, they will be the old good, jolly people and you can pursue a happy, worthy conversation with them.

One important tip I would like to give you is never talk ill of yourself to others. For example, "I don't look good", "I am not a good cook", "I am so stupid", "I am so fat" and the list goes on. People you talk to about you this way actually believe you and they will be repeating the same phrases to you in no short time. I can assure you that you wouldn't like it. But it is you who encouraged them to say such things. Nothing to worry. Correct yourself, think good about yourself and be kind to yourself and let others know by your actions what a great person you are. You don't need to brag and boast to prove you are worthy. Your daily actions will speak louder than your words.

Another important tip I would like to mention here is that don't ever confide in new friends and acquaintances that you have been treated badly by people in the past. Because they will believe those people and not you and think that you are not worthy of respect and start behaving ill. So it's best to keep your past in the past and not repeat it to anyone in the present good times.

Sometimes it is just a bad rumor set up by somebody spreading all over the complex you live or the office where you work. None of it is true. But how do you handle such a situation? Because it is spreading fast. Just hold on and pray from the core of your heart. Almighty God can fix everything for you. People will want to humiliate you because they get fun from it but almighty God will magnify you in wondrous ways. And then people will have nothing to say other than appreciate you at large.

So rude and ill behavior from people is not uncommon. It has happened to the best of us. Try to control the situation as much as you can and leave the rest to God and trust Him. Keep your own courtesies and behavior well all the time no matter what. God will be pleased and justify the situation for you. There isn't always much to worry, gotcha?

Believing Dreams Will Come True (By Maria Gemma Hilotin)

Until when will you believe? What if you did everything you could, while believing, and still nothing's happening? What will you do?

A. Let go?

B. Continue believing?

C. Work on something else?

I read somewhere that writing your goals will make it real for you. So, one time in December 2012, I wrote my goals, with a timeline. I felt superman powers that day that I thought by just writing all my very specific goals down (date with events), God will hear it and He will make it come true for me! Yes, like magic!

I believed that.

I believed it truly that every day, I'd look at my list and would excitedly imagine it happening soon! Every morning I'd read my list and I'd pray for it.

Do you know what happened? Two out of the seven items came true! And guess what?! with exact time (month and year) and events!

Was it magic? Was it just perfect timing? Was it pure luck? or Was it because I believed?

What do you think?

But, you know what? to this day I have not let go. I continue to believe that my five other items will come true soon!

I have to tell you though that even if I'd look at my list still, daily, and pray for it, I made sure to leave my concerns, worries and issues in God's hands.

Sister Teresa of Calcutta heard the voice of God while traveling by train, she believed it. She said it was a call within a call that she was to serve the poor in the slums. She asked permission, and even if it took a while for the permission to be granted, she didn't lose hope. She said, it wasn't her will, it's God's will. She continued to believe, and the rest was history.

It is fun to dream! It is fun to look ahead and see the possibilities that are in store for us! It is fun to believe!
As the days passed by in December 2012 and no event was happening, I knew there was nothing I could do if it wasn't time yet. It will never be because I will it, it was all about God's will, all according to His perfect timing.

Friends, there are three important things to think about here:

First, I hope we learn to let go. Not to let go of our dreams, but to let go of worrying, anxiety and self-righteousness. If it is meant to be, God will make all our dreams come true for us. Right?

Second, I hope we will continue to believe in the beauty of our dreams. There will be a lot of times when we feel nothing is happening, but I believe that something within has started to grow, it just hasn't shown in reality yet, but it is coming. It is coming soon!

Third, I hope we won't get fixated that we forget to work on something else! Enjoy life! Show up! Have fun! There is more to life than our dreams! Do something else! Embrace life's other surprises!

I thank God for options and alternatives.

My five items didn't happen as planned. There were a lot of detours, diversions, stopovers, interruptions, challenges, and threats.

But, looking back now, it was beautiful! It was beautiful because it also came with a lot of hope, opportunities, lessons, joy and awesome surprises!

Just like Sister Teresa of Calcutta, let us not lose hope.

If God meant our dreams to come true, it will be in an easy and relaxed manner, in His perfect timing and for the highest good of all.

May all our dreams be blessed.

Message From the Universe: Quality Over Quantity!

"You really don't have to try so hard.

That's why there's magic and miracles.

Remember?

Tallyho,
The Universe"

When growing up, my parents told me that if you work long hours at work, your chances of success are greater. That was maybe true then, in the 80's or 90's but today, working smarter is what creates more efficiency and chance of success grows exponentially. With the tools we have, such as social media, tablets, laptops, and other technologies available at our fingertips, it helps us save a tremendous amount of time to complete the same task if we didn't have these tools. More technologically advanced we are, less time we take to complete the work that would have taken us double the amount of time. In retrospect, the end result is working less but accomplishing more. Because of this, more companies are adopting the telecommuting option for their staff so they no longer need to spend hours in traffic to arrive at the office in the morning and spend another hour to get back home. By telecommuting, employees feel like they are gaining more time outside of traffic and put it back into work and accomplish a lot more.

I can predict that many organizations will use this approach and allow their staff to work from wherever they want, as long as they meet their quotas of production. This option will also allow companies not to need so much working space, which will reduce cost of monthly rent and utilities. When more and more employees will telecommute, we can predict most commercial rentals split their expenses by combining more than one company utilizing the same space and save money. It is already happening but more and more businesses will be inclined to using this approach in the years to come. More leniency employers give to employees, more productive they (employees) will be.

So when it all comes to your goals and dreams, less you make your success a priority, more you will succeed reaching it. Focus on helping others make it first and the rest will come. Less you think of wealth, quicker it will come. Start working on yourself, on your well-being, on your health and I can promise you that everything else you've dreamed about getting in your life will unravel in front of you. Keep faith!

Find Your Big Magic

I've followed Liz Gilbert's recent work on creativity for over a year, and her ideas resonate deeply with me.

At the heart of it all is her book "Big Magic," which I finally finished a few weeks ago. It brought me to tears, and I hope you will read it for yourself (if you haven't already).

She talks about all the things that come up when we strive to live a creative life. (And I happen to believe that entrepreneurship is inherently a creative endeavor!) She explores handling fear, questions of originality, keeping creativity playful rather than heavy, dealing with the crap that comes along with it, and so much more!

It's the kind of book that can speak to different people in different ways. Or even to the same person differently depending on the stage they are at. That's why you should read it for yourself, and let it give you what you need.

But today I wanted to share a little bit of the magic that I got from this book in this moment of my life and business.

This summer I found myself in a creative transition. Between family activities, other projects and a new creative outlet, I wasn't able to stick to my content creation schedule for my business. I was really beating myself up about it, after all I am a Content Creation Coach!! Then, I read this...

"If you can't do what you long to do, go do something else... You might think it's procrastination, but-with the right intention-it isn't; it's motion. And any motion whatsoever beats inertia, because inspiration will always be drawn to motion. So wave your arms around. Make something. Do something. Do anything. Call attention to yourself with some sort of creative action, and-most of all-trust that if you make enough of a glorious commotion, eventually inspiration will find it's way home to you again." (-pg. 254)

I realized that, while I was struggling to write a blog article, I was seeing dances in my mind to every song that I heard. My creative focus had shifted, so I followed it.

I have indeed made a "glorious commotion" that has felt chaotic, spontaneous, uncoordinated and amazing. In my case, I was following inspiration, which had turned its head and gone in a completely different direction.

It was like it didn't have the capacity to look in both directions at the same time. I honestly thought about dropping one part of my life completely, or giving up on another.

However, with time, I'm finding that my inspiration and creative capacity is expanding to include both worlds. The whole process has been really interesting.

Then I read what Liz Gilbert has to say about when things get interesting...

"People quit as soon as things aren't easy anymore, as soon as it gets painful, or boring, or agitating. They quit as soon as they see something in their minds that scares them or hurts them. So they miss the good part, the wild part, the transformative part - the part when you push past the difficulty and enter into some raw new unexplored universe within yourself... As my friend Pastor Rob bell warns: 'Don't rush through the experiences and circumstances that have the most capacity to transform you.' Don't let go of your courage the moment things stop being easy or rewarding. Because that moment? That's the moment when interesting begins." (- pg. 247)

It's in these "interesting" moments that the Big Magic really happens. Now that doesn't mean that you will create the most amazing thing. You might not. Big Magic isn't about the outcome, it's about the experience and growth that happens in the process...

"What you produce is not necessarily always sacred, I realized, just because you think it's sacred. What is sacred is the time that you spend working on the project, and what that time does to expand your imagination, and what that expanded imagination does to transform your life." (- pg. 232)

This is the part that is hard as a Content Creation Coach who works with business owners and entrepreneurs. We want there to be a formula for great content that will always resonate with our ideal clients. But it doesn't really work that way. See, our ideal clients...

"They are just people. They are just like us. They are whimsical and quirky. They're a little different every day, just as you and I are a little different every day. There is no neat template that can ever predict what will capture any one person's imagination, or when; you just have to reach them at the right moment. But since the right moment is unknowable, you must maximize your chances. Play the odds. Put yourself forward in stubborn good cheer, and then do it again and again and again... The effort is worth it, because when at last you do connect, it is an otherworldly delight of the highest order." (- Pg. 195)

And that is the whole point... to connect with other people. Too often we forget that connecting and building relationships is the purpose of our content. And the only way that happens is if we put ourselves out there. If we share the truth of what we know, and even who we are. That's more important than the work being perfect, or original, or brilliant. That is real authenticity.

"Authenticity has a quiet resonance that never fails to stir me. Just say what you want to say, then, and say it with all your heart." - pg. 98

Liz Gilbert never fails to inspire me, so if you are in need of some inspiration, pick up Big Magic, or check her out through any of those mentioned below. And then go make something!

Magic Versus Miracle

The fastest route to achieve anything is either through magic or miracle. Other fast ways are still categorised under these two umbrellas.

In the absence of hypocrisy and judgmental attitude, we all want the quickest means to achieve our goals. Unaware to many, they keep seeking magic not knowing that they should be looking for miracle instead.

Magic and miracle are like two sides of a coin; with so much similarity, but yet different.

Magic is an illusion. It can happen anywhere, anytime and any how irrespective of the conditions.

Miracle is real and It requires a foundation before it can occur. That is, some kind of work on the part of the bearer; psychological and physical.

It is imperative that you understand the differences between the two.

Magic works for the time being and fades away after a while, whereas miracle is natural and it lasts forever.

Even though you may find it difficult to distinguish between magic and miracle, as long as you don't allow self deception to take over, it will become evident.

Are you still skeptical? Let's do some breakdown.

In a bid to lose fat you tend to be susceptible to all sorts of theories and concepts. To make matters worse, the fitness industry is saturated with "lose fat quickly"campaigns. Certainly, you will be tempted to opt for these fast methods, but you have to shine your eyes. STOP GOING FOR THE FAKE.

"Lose 40 pounds in a month" is an example of MAGIC and it's preposterous. With the present technology and evolutionary state of humans, any loss of weight beyond 15 pounds in a month is unhealthy and surely has consequences. Who knows, maybe sometimes in the year 2088, the human body might be able to withstand higher weight loss within a short period of time. We might even have usb ports and wifi connection under our armpits by then to upload fatloss routines into our bodies.

As of now, the healthy way to lose fat is through proper exercise and meal adjustments. Slow and steady is the key to sustainable weight loss.

So how do you get miracle?

You have to lay down the proper ground work then allow nature to do the rest. It is crucial that you comprehend with the fact that miracle needs a foundation to work on. In order words, some work has to be done by an individual before it can take place.

In spite of the high controversy on supplements, they can still be taken but in a safe manner. Nutrition and exercise can be likened to a footballer and his skillset while supplement is a soccer boot.

First and foremost, the footballer must kick the ball before he can score a goal. The soccer boot enhances the intensity of his kicks and protects his feet, however he must ensure that his boot is made of the right material. A bad supplement is like a boot that is fully made of raw metal, not only will it injure the ankle of the player, it will also burst the football.

Using supplements without performing exercise will not work. It's like wearing a soccer boot without kicking the ball. The ball will not move.

Brethren, Set your ball in motion and let nature take over.

Peace unto you.
