How to Be Happy When You Live Alone

Living alone? Ever thought you could be happy that way? It is possible! Read on to find out.

Here are some clues to get you started:

  1. Count Your Blessings

Start the day by counting your blessings. Think mentally for all the things you are grateful for the day. Really relish and breathe through them. And feel happy.

      2.  Pray or Meditate

From a point of gratitude, the best next thing to do is to pray or meditate about the things you badly want. Feelings of gratitude make wanting your desires and believing in yourself so much easier. It helps you to send good vibes to the Universe while you pray or meditate which makes it convenient to manifest the things you believe in.

      3. De-clutter

While back home from your work or even if you work at home, you can take some time out to de-clutter your wardrobe, bookshelves and kitchen on different days and make room in your home for more. Remember less is more and that brings happiness to you and your home. Free energy and air flowing around are rejuvenating for your home, health, happiness as well as wellbeing.

      4. Write

Starting from the simple step of recording your journal entries about the day's blessings and events, you can actually start writing books in your niche, on fiction or self-help - whatever might interest you. It allows you to be creative and as you write from scratch and do some research over the mighty reign of web, sure you will come up with more and more ideas, and actually end up writing your dream book(s). The more love and effort you put into them, the better success they will bring along with happiness.

     5. Paint

Water colors or crayons in kindergarten may have been intriguing for you. It's time to rekindle that spirit once again. Get canvas and paint or drawing board and watercolors - choose the right combination that works for you and start coloring or painting and see how it goes. Try to paint looking at real objects, sceneries or a color book and see where you feel interested. Experiment with colors and make your life colorful and happy.

     6. Cook

Instead of relying on fast food or junk food, start cooking healthy diets. Get a cook book, follow the recipes you like and cook them. Invite a friend or two to comment on your cooking skills and also enjoy and laugh together and be happy.

Summing up, these six major tips come to my mind at the moment which could keep you happy and enlivened while you live alone. You could actually battle your loneliness through these activities, meet new people, make more friends and even meet your soul mate. Pretty cool, right?

Is It Time to Ask For Help?

Many of us feel disinclined to ask for help. Even asking for directions can require a huge effort. We may be loathe to appear vulnerable or incompetent, telling ourselves, 'I'll be fine, we must be nearly there by now, it will all work out in the end'!

But whilst we may feel that asking for help is a sign of weakness, the reality is it can often be a sign of strength. Appreciating the value of additional support or input can positively influence our chances of success, saving us time and allowing us to maximise our resources. There's nothing weak about doing that!

Here's to recognising that it's time to ask for help.

- Feeling overwhelmed, out of our depth, not sure where to start or how to proceed is an important indicator that it's time to ask for help. Whether we're in a study, work or domestic situation it can be frustrating and futile to fritter increasing amounts of time not knowing where, what or how to begin. Overwhelm can result in anger, frustration and feeling de-motivated, especially if we're new, young or lacking in confidence. If we're unable to determine the way forward we may end up feeling stupid, useless and choose to walk away.

Asking for help from the outset means we potentially start with a clearer overview and directions or instructions from day one. We're able to make notes and continue using any of the channels of communication we've opened, so helping us become more confident about speaking up if and when required.

- There may be areas of our life which really cannot be ignored any longer. A team may be struggling to bond, a disruptive relationship may be causing havoc or staff development may not be as successful as was planned. Outside help may provide a better, more neutral perspective, see things differently and be able to work effectively to bring about positive results.

If our personal relationship is struggling, outside help can be beneficial in the form of relationship counselling. This can be a good decision even when the only option left is to split, facilitating a more respectful resolution, especially when there are children to consider.

- Stress often builds up over time, perhaps being triggered by a catalogue of day-to-day pressures, unhappy mindset or precarious physical wellbeing. Learn to recognise the signs that your stress symptoms are starting to appear. Signs may be poor concentration, accidents and mistakes, not sleeping well, losing your joy in life, each alerting you to the need to start saying 'no', develop better coping strategies and start asking for help.

Counselling and hypnotherapy can be a good way to deal with old unhelpful habits, support good decision-making and introduce effective stress management strategies. Find time for fun, things that you're good at and commit to taking regular breaks.

- What about those occasions when we're already doing too much, yet still agree to take on more, rather than say 'no'! Such behaviour can come from a fear of appearing incapable, inefficient, not coping or we don't want to disappoint or risk losing a client. We may want to do it all, be keen to be involved in every step of the process, perhaps not trust others to do as good a job or prefer to micro-manage everything.

Asking for help allows others to feel included, part of the team and so enable them to develop and even suggest better working practices. Or there may be some real value in forming alliances with other associated businesses and offering a more comprehensive menu of goods and services, a win/win for all involved.

You gain by having additional time for other, perhaps more important things, or free up some time for fun activities. It might be viable to pay for help with domestic chores, like gardening, ironing or cleaning or engage business expertise to support your accountancy, social media, admin needs; all could be money well spent.

- Perfectionism is often a barrier to asking for help. Easing our stress levels through constant checking may bring its own temporary reassurance, but it's often short-lived. Learning to move on from one piece of work when it's finished, good enough, can save a lot of time and stress. Besides that, going over something repeatedly often means we become de-sensitised and word-blind to any flaws or errors. A fresh pair of eyes can often zone in on something straight away.

- Trust other people's areas of expertise. If you know someone who's already practiced or familiar with what you're attempting to do invite them to share their experiences with you. Chances are they'll be only too happy to help and you may be able to reciprocate at another time. Alliances like this can bring advantages to all involved.

Our business skills or personal capabilities may benefit from the introduction of a coach, trainer or mentor to provide guidance, motivation and accountability. Soliciting help can move us out of our comfort zone and take our personal and professional development to the next level. When our aim is to grow and develop it's often important to ask for help.

The Real Meaning Of Respect

Respect is about accepting anybody for who they are, even when they're different from us or we don't agree with them. Respect builds trust, safety, and well-being. In contrast to nourishment, regard costs nothing. Respect and sense of pride are by and by, socially, politically, and ethically significant. Our demeanor and actions have huge impacts, can't be messed with.

Dignity might be something we underestimate. We may find how significant it is the point at which our sense of pride is compromised, or we lose it and need to work to recover it, or battle to create or keep up it in a troublesome situation. A few people find that at last having the option to regard themselves is the thing that issues most by kicking a disturbing propensity, or safeguarding something that they regard. Respect and confidence are profoundly associated.

Respect is a mentality. Show others how respect is done. For youngsters, it's simpler to completely grasp a thought in the event that they see another person using that thought emphatically. This is called modelling behavior. It will motivate other people especially your kids to follow.

Treat others the manner in which you need to be dealt with. When speaking with one another, guardians and teenagers need to dodge indications of discourtesy like shouting, utilizing a dreadful manner of speaking and exhibiting cautious non-verbal communication.

Listening is essential in building respect. Learning the sense of pride is guided by how we see ourselves. The individuals in our lives go about as a mirror in this procedure. At the point when individuals who are essential to us give us consideration and support, we see positive pictures of ourselves. At different occasions, our connections with others may make us feel ugly, uncouth, or even undetectable. Little kids fabricate their feeling of sense of pride from their communications with others. At the point when they are made to feel unique and esteemed, youngsters develop to regard themselves.

A positive feeling of one's self enables the developing youngster to regard others. Sense of pride is at the core of regarding others. At the point when you can distinguish and value your qualities and acknowledge your vulnerabilities, it's simpler to really regard the incentive in others. It is broadly recognized that there are various types of respect. Regard is a responsive connection, and common talk about regard distinguishes a few key components of the reaction, including consideration, yielding, judgment, affirmation, esteeming, and conduct.

In this manner, regarding something appears differently in relation to being negligent or apathetic regarding it, overlooking or rapidly rejecting it, ignoring or dismissing it, or heedlessly or purposefully misidentifying it. It is in uprightness of this part of cautious consideration that respect is in some cases thought of as an epistemic prudence.

So, if you want to respect others, try to respect yourself first. What you think and feel is just as important as what somebody else thinks and feels. In fact, respect for ourselves guides our morals and respect for others guides our manners.

Principal Elements Of Self - HELP

How can we become, the best, we can, possibly, be, unless/ until, we focus on our personal strengths, as well as areas of weakness, and effectively, use any strength, while, addressing any weakness? Many people are comfortable, giving advice to others, and effectively advancing their business/ professional careers/ lives, but, often, pay far too little attention, to the best approaches, to self - HELP! With that in mind, this article will attempt to, consider, examine, review, and discuss, using the mnemonic approach, what this means and represents, and, how, we can better, become, our own, best friend.

1. Healthy; happy; heroic; head/ heart: When we are healthy, we generally become far more capable, and willing, to be, truly happy, and self - satisfied. The better we look, introspectively, and objectively, within, and give ourselves, a check - up, from the neck - up, the easier this becomes. Don't be afraid of this challenge, or feel, it is impossible, and/ or, unachievable, but, rather, focus on yourself, and give a personal, heroic effort, in your best interests! When one proceeds, consistently, with a head/ heart balance, and balances his emotional and logical components, in a personally, satisfying way, you begin to start, helping yourself, in a meaningful manner!

2. Examine; energizing; excellence; emphasis; endurance: Begin your quest, with thoroughly, examining, what you want, out of your life, including your personal goals, priorities, perceptions, and what makes you happiest! Seek your utmost degree of personal excellence in this endeavor. Doing so, will be energizing and enriching, when the emphasis, is on your own well - being, etc. Have the endurance, to work, your plan, and proceed, with the necessary persistence!

3. Listen; learn; leading: We generally think of a leader, as someone who directs others, but, a real leader, is someone, who also, is leading, himself, wisely, and in a well - considered, manner! Effectively listen, and learn, from every experience and conversation, so you might be, the best, you might become!

4. Priorities; pleasure; planning; perception; process: When was the last time, you truly, took the time, and made the effort, to consider, your priorities, and reasons! What gives you the most pleasure? Are your perceptions, positive, and healthy, or negative, and defeating? Will you commit, to the degree of planning, being a winner, requires? This is a process, and you must be ready, willing and able, to commit, absolutely, to it!

No one can help you, and you can't serve others or humanity, until/ unless, you begin, with a focus, on self - HELP! Do you really want to help, yourself, become happier and healthier? It's always, up, to you!

Message From the Universe: "Fool Me Once, Shame on You, Fool Me Twice, Shame on ME!"

Photo of Men Pointing To Each Other

"Speaking of ships silently passing in the night...

Even your own path crossing with a complete stranger, on a sidewalk, down the hall, or at Starbucks, on this holiest of adventures, amongst the billions now alive and the zillions who could have been, means so much more than most can even comprehend. Suffice it to say, however, that in such moments these fellow adventurers are closer to you than a brother or a sister, no matter who they are.

You are the "King" of the world,
The Universe"

Everyone that you will meet in your lifetime will have an impact on you and your well being. Some will change who you are for the better and others will make you live with regrets as to what did you do to deserve such encounters. You will come across some vampires that their sole purpose is to drain you from everything that you have and once emptied, will jump to the next victim and live you there, laying in a puddle of pain. Many will suffer from the same predicament, and stop trusting anyone else in their lives because of just a few bad apples/vampires. As you can understand the point of the story here is that people will change you as a person, because of their behavior. Just like a chameleon, changing colors as they bounce from one object to another, your personality depends on who you meet or come across with. Do you think this is the way to go? Aren't you suppose to be who you are, regardless of others behavior? Why should it depend on anyone else's malicious act on you for you to become just like them? The expression "Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice shame on me"is applicable. Learning from mistakes and moving forward is crucial to all aspects of your life. Do not allow to make the same mistakes over and over again, especially if it's by the same person. It is hard to predict anyone's attention for that matter, but be vigilant and pay attention to signals, sudden change of behavior, things that seems to be odd or unnatural to you. Once you see them erupting, take immediate action and do not allow more problems to sink in. Work on protecting yourself first and foremost, and the rest can be handled the way you see fit.

I am not saying that everyone will look for ways to take advantage, because there are just a few who do that but because of them, it leaves everyone else wonder the kind of screwed up society we live in. Don't allow this to change you as a person or allow you to become like them. Continue doing the things that you used to do, such as helping others in need. In this case, avoid to pay it forward when it comes to being taken advantage of, as you do not want to do the same to others. Follow your gut feeling that by doing good to others while someone did something bad to you is breaking the link, the bad connection that creates so much anger and frustration to others. You want to avoid this at all cost. Something very important to add is to never judge anyone as you do not understand the kind of battle they are living with. Some people might be always smiling or looking happy but the reality is that they may suffer from severe depression and other kind of illnesses. Not taking this in consideration can push you to retaliate in the wrong way when someone is having a bad day because of whatever reasons. When someone is mean to you, try to understand that it is NOT your fault nor your actions that triggered this anger. Something else is lurking in that person's mind that pushed them to behaving aggressively towards you.

Message From the Universe: There Is Always Another Beginning!

"All that you must do, you've already done.

Let everything else be what you want to do.

That's what I want,
The Universe"

Just like all farmers out there, you need to plant seeds before you can benefit from the crop. Every step you take today, at this moment, will have positive effect in the future. If you just stand still, and not doing anything, in a year from now, you will look back and live life with regret, wondering why didn't you start then. So here, I am giving you that opportunity to look into the future to revert back into your immediate past. Without the use of the Delorean from Back to the Future, you are using existing experiences to put into action what you were meant to do in this world. Sometimes, a rude awakening is needed to bring you back to a place you weren't meant to leave, a path that you need to stay on to ultimately reach your life's goals. It is ONLY you who can determine the best path to take in your life and make sure not to stay on it. I am not saying that you wouldn't face challenges, obstacles, hurdles, disappointments while on that path, but it will be up to you to choose if it is the optimal option for your well being. It is hard to guess, I admit, since we can't really read or predict the future. Even though you may have a good sense of the best path to take, there are good chances that you may have to take a few wrong turns to eventually reach your destination. During these wrong turns, you may come to a point of wanting to abandon the journey, wonder if the choices you took were the best ones and start second guess yourself from that point forward.

There is NO shame is starting over, or going back to the beginning and looking into a distant and uncertain future to select another path. It might be difficult to do this at a later age in your life but just remember that you will never make the same mistakes again. So the time you took originally to reach a certain point in your life wouldn't take the same amount of years reaching again that same exact time where you failed and move on from that point forward. Everything will be on warp speed. If you can all remember the movie with Tom Cruise, "The Edge of Tomorrow", where every time he got killed, he woke up and started at the same exact point where he was dumped in the beginning of the movie. By going through the same journey all over again, he anticipated actions from the alien enemies and was able to deter death as much as possible. He failed, of course, but he eventually succeeded when he woke up at the end and it was the end of war with the aliens. The writers and director and the movie had somehow an awakening when coming up with a script like that. Was there a message behind this movie? Even though the physical body does expire, consciousness always remains. Was this movie trying to tell us something? Was the underlying message trying to connect with our subconscious mind? The answers are up to you.

How To Become Wise

Wisdom is the ability to make sound judgments and choices based on experience. It's possible to be quick on our feet and skilled in processing complex information without reaching sensible solutions to problems. Cultivating wisdom is a deliberate choice that people can make regardless of age and intelligence.

We need to think before we speak. It's something we possibly know we ought to do, but may find difficult because once we say it, we can't take it back. Before we open our mouth to say something, make sure it's something we would be proud to post everywhere on social media. If it's something we might regret later, then maybe it's better if we kept it to ourselves.

Moreover, wisdom is the ability to look beyond our personal desires. People who have gotten where they are by not taking other people's interests into account or even by actively thwarting the interests of others cannot not be viewed as wise. However, it doesn't mean that wise people are self-sacrificing. Well-being and success both suffer if we're too focused on others or on ourselves. We don't have to be selfish just to get what we want. People who pursue personal gains at the expense of others ended up destroying their relationships and reputations.

Wise people are willing to question rules, instead of accepting things as they have always been. They are willing to understand than judge. However, many people are judgmental. They judge the actions of others. But wise people resist this impulse. Over time, this emphasis on understanding rather than evaluating yields an advantage in predicting others' actions, enabling wise people to offer better advice to others and make better choices themselves.

Put things in perspective before jumping to conclusions. Emotions always soar high when people are upset. But problems can occur when we engage in conflict with another person before we calm down because if we're too caught up in our anger, we're not going to think clearly. Wise people realize that they are always in control of their thoughts, feelings, and actions. Most people let others' behavior affect them negatively without realizing that they let that negativity permeate their lives and make them miserable.

Wise people have purpose and a goal. Acting on impulse can lead to regrets. If we don't take the time to think things through, we might create problems. Wise people use a combination of logic and instinct to come up with the best decisions possible.

Wise people don't get blinded by charm, personality, or looks right away. In defiance, they are also not turned off by anyone who is not beautiful or charming on first impression, either. Meaning, they take the time to get to know people and judge them based on their inner self, not who they appear to be. Physical appearance is just temporary. What's more important is the beauty inside out. Wise people never judge rudely. They practice empathy by putting themselves in another shoes and trying to see the situation from their point of view.

Indeed! Thinking like a wise person is very difficult. But with constant training and control of our emotions, we can do it even if it is easier said than done for many people, but it is really possible to think wisely.

Message From the Universe: Sharing Your Dreams With the Right People Is Crucial to Success!

"The instant you have a new dream, the masses are notified.

And every single one of the billions of people alive today who have complementary visions, whether to be your future customer, reader, mentor, fan, lover, partner, agent, golf caddy, or tanning salon operator, all add their power to yours.

After all, you just might be their "lucky break."

Move boldly,
The Universe"

Do not let your dreams go unfulfilled. You decide the content and start processing that information. There are many dreamers, but not enough doers. You need to put these thoughts into action and not hesitate. It is imminent that you first determine the viability of your dream and make sure that it is feasible. Do not dream about creating a bridge between NY and Portugal when you have no civil engineering knowledge. For everything else, sky's the limit. The reason as to why you need to hang around people with big dreams is because it will inspire you to keep on going with your dream. Naysayers will always try to discourage you or bring you down to earth by mocking your dreams. Avoid these naysayers at all cost. First, you do not need to tell anyone what you are doing or thinking about doing or implementing any kind of dreams. The ONLY permission you need to ask is yourself. No one else out there is aloud to tell you what to do or how to do it. You are the master of your own self so start applying it. Produce all the dreams you want and take action as soon as the opportunity arise.

Joining a group of dreamers is crucial to your well being and to your confidence level when it comes to making all of your dreams a reality. Since you all share the same thought process, everyone can encourage to others when it comes to holding on and keep moving forward. This kind of encouragement is a must, especially during the embryo stage of the dream. You need the right support so you can avoid pitfalls. Mentors are good performing the task of encouraging others and sharing their point of view with the creator/entrepreneur. If you have the opportunity to talk to a mentor, make sure you pay attention to every word they share with you, every advice, every comment or feedback because they are extremely valuable. They will help you avoid costly mistakes that can save you time and money, especially where you need it the most at this stage of your business. Take my word for it, I have helped many avoid MY mistakes.

Leap & the Net Will Appear (By Clarena Wise)

Image result for happy life

February 8th 2017. That was the day that I officially took a break, took a step back, got some much-needed rest, went on hiatus... became unemployed. I'd spent most of my adult life working in an industry that was foreign to the word; down time. Being open 24-hours, 365 days a year, meant that like the career I'd chosen, I was available ALL THE TIME. It'd become commonplace to receive a call at 11pm (just after I'd had my third glass of Sangria), from a colleague stating that he couldn't show up for work, and of course needed me to cover his shift. It was upsetting to get that text at 5am suggesting that I come in to scramble some eggs, because the breakfast cook had yet to arrive for her shift. It was hellish to be on vacation and receive a flood of emails, texts and voice mails indicating that my division was represented negatively on TripAdvisor, and I had one day to respond... from the boat... in the middle of the ocean... on my anniversary... on my vacation.

I complained a lot, imbibed a bit, complained some more, drank some more, and chalked it all up to, "that's why I get the big bucks!" I consumed stress for breakfast, lunch and dinner, and gobbled it all up with a hint of thyme. After the company closed my division, I accepted a job offer with another like business. During my first day of training, a colleague joked about the busyness of the company. His exact words to me were, "prepare to never sleep again." I'd learn later that he'd just returned from a two-month absence due to a heart attack. In the days that followed, I'd worked 10-12 hour days, pacify livid customers, placate irate staff threatening to quit, reconcile payroll from three weeks ago, and assist the police with a drug sting... no, really.

On the fifth day of my 'training', I excused myself to the restroom. I grabbed my purse on the way the door, and walked directly to my car, where I sat for several minutes with my head buried in my hands. I sobbed uncontrollably, and experienced a panic attack so troubling that I considered driving to the ER. I called my husband, and in a rapid, incoherent rant told him that I just couldn't do it anymore. I apologized repeatedly, and highlighted the many reasons that I was having a mental breakdown in my SUV. Expecting him to be sensible and urge me to put my big girl panties on and get back in there and push through it, he simply said, "Baby, just quit and come home." WHAT?!?! Did he just tell me to quit? Doesn't he realize that I have a car payment? Doesn't he realize that we've got a trip out of town coming up? Doesn't he realize that we have one more dependent child left at home? Doesn't he realize that I have a handbag addiction? Doesn't he realize that the house payment is coming due, again? WHAT?!?!

February 20, 2017. I woke up at 9am (instead of 5am), because I could. I watched as my gorgeous husband made me a killer omelet, followed by me enjoying an hour-long relaxing bubble bath. I took my doxies to the lake and was able to leisurely walk along the shore with them. I sat on the bed with my two youngest daughters, reminiscing, laughing, and sharing family memories. I followed up with clients from as far away as China, and thus generated additional income. I wrote some more chapters, and submitted another blog. And then it happened. I casually looked over at him as he worked on an art piece for an upcoming show, and it clicked... this is what I want, this is actually, ALL that I want.

Now, don't go searching for the GoFundMe link at the bottom of this page, because you won't find one. And no, I'm not selling my Coach bags on eBay... yet. But I can tell you what I am doing. I am seriously investing in myself, and focusing on my personal businesses. I fully intend to take my 'hobbies' to the next level. I am cutting expenses in my life that are eating away at funds best used elsewhere (buh, bye Sirius XM, it's been fun cable TV). I am setting the stage for what I will, and won't settle for in my life. The older I get, the less tolerance I have for drama and BS. And most importantly, I'm spending quality time with the ones I love. The past few nights have been the most restful, and enjoyable evenings I've had in several years. I went to bed knowing that no one would be calling, emailing, or texting me with an issue. It was fantastic!

Will I ever go back to working for someone else? I don't know. Will I ever sacrifice my health and well-being for a plaque on some wall attempting to showcase my worth? Definitely not! I'm sitting in my PJ's wrapping up my novel, invoicing clients, listening to Prince, sipping my oolong tea, petting my pooch, and watching him paint. I'm unsure of how long this ideal happenstance will last, but I am sure that I will work towards it extending a lifetime.

I feel good. I feel really GOOD. And now that I've leapt, I'm fully confident that the Universe will cause the net to appear...

Cakra Meditation For Personal Development

Image result for meditation

Cakras are wheel-like vortices within the body that spins and through which energy flows. They are energy centers that determine your health spiritually and physically. It is important therefore to ensure the health of the cakras to keep the energy flowing.

There are seven major cakras that you need to know about. Starting at the tail bone is the Root cakra. This energy center is responsible for your basic survival needs. When it is not in balance, you will feel insecure, unsafe and unhappy.

The second cakra above the Root cakra is the Sacral cakra, often called the sex center. It is located in the lower abdomen just under the navel. This energy center associates itself with issues of pleasure, sexuality and well-being. In cakra meditation techniques, this is where pro-creation begins.

The third cakra is the Solar Plexus cakra. It is at the upper abdomen on the stomach area. This energy center is responsible for your self-confidence and self-esteem issues.

The fourth cakra is the Heart cakra. As the name suggests, it deals with issues of love, passion, joy and healing. It is located right at the center of the chest. The heart is an important component for manifestation because the heart does not judge, unlike the mind.

The fifth cakra is the throat cakra. It is located right at the throat and deals with expression and communication. The throat is where a major portion of a person's karma resides. Removing karma from the throat is a daily ritual if one is to succeed in life.

The sixth cakra is the Third Eye cakra and is located on the forehead between the two eyebrows. It deals with wisdom, imagination and decisions. The Third Eye is also where the pineal gland resides. The pineal gland is the window to the spirit world and where manifestation takes form.

The seventh cakra at the top of the head is called the Crown cakra and represents our connectivity with God or the universe. God's energy, or the energy of the universe, enters and exits the body through this vortice.

Cakra meditation is the use of quantum sounds for each of the vortices. When the quantum sounds are pushed into each vortice with meditation, they spin faster and become stronger.

Starting at the Root cakra, the kundalini energy will rise through the spinal column and pushes itself out of the Crown cakra, the result of which you will become spiritual and will vibrate in higher frequencies.

What does this really mean? It means manifestation becomes easier and more common. When using cakra meditation techniques for personal development, one certainly has the advantage over the masses.

Cakra meditation is a tool for personal development. In this highly competitive world, having the power to create or manifest with just a thought, places you far ahead of your rival. Master the techniques of cakra meditation at this blog http://cakrameditation.com and excel in your career and personal life.

5 Ways in Which Exercise Aids Recovery

Woman Doing Exercise Inside Gym

When a person gets addicted to an illegal substance, he or she constantly craves the substance at the expense of everything else in life. At times, people fighting substance abuse may even disregard their physical and mental health, exposing themselves to the harmful effects of addiction. When abusing drugs, such people do not focus on their actions or choices, which, in turn, leads to irreparable damage to their physical and mental health.

However, when a compulsive alcohol or drug user decides to lead a sober life, he or she faces innumerable challenges in combating the constant cravings for addictive substances and lead a normal life.

Studies show that indulging in healthy habits, such as regular exercise or eating a healthy diet, can pave the way for overall well being, such as improving blood circulation, strengthening the heart, maintaining weight, relieving stress and sharpening the mind.

For a person recovering from any sort of addiction, physical exercise can play a key role in uplifting the mood and maintaining overall health. Apart from helping in the release of endorphins, which the body craves during recovery, exercise repairs the psychological and physical damage of chemical dependency caused by alcohol or drug abuse.

Here are some benefits that a person can gain by exercising while recovering from an addiction:

  1. Keeping oneself busy: One of the major benefits of exercising on a regular basis is that it keeps the person busy and helps focus on the present. Exercising on a regular basis keeps stress and boredom at bay and helps avoid thoughts of using alcohol or drugs.
  2. Relieving stress: Stress and tension can result from several situations in life, such as work pressure, deteriorating health or substance abuse. Exercising can help the body get rid of stress and negative emotions. It is important to get moving and start physical exercise since avoiding it might increase the chances of the person opting for unhealthy ways to get rid of the stress and tension such as relapsing to drug and alcohol use.
  3. Enhancing natural levels of endorphins: When a person abuses alcohol, it releases endorphins, the neurotransmitters in the brain, that create euphoria. However, using it for a long period of time causes dependency and creates a chemical imbalance that interferes with the person's ability to feel pleasure, happiness and satisfaction.A better way to enable the release of these hormones is by exercising regularly. Regular physical activity assists in restoring the natural levels of endorphins in the body.
  4. Inculcating a better outlook: Exercising on a regular basis helps one develop a positive outlook toward life. It not only helps in boosting the person's self-confidence but also instills positivity.
  5. Healing body and mind: Engaging in physical activity protects a person, especially those recovering from an addiction to alcohol, against deadly diseases such as cancer, heart ailments, etc. When a person in recovery exercises every day, it increases the number of new nerve connections in the brain that helps heal better from the effects of substance use.

Seeking professional help

Alcoholism not only affects the physical and mental health of a person but also those related to that person. It is important to note that alcohol addiction is a disease that can be treated.

Message From the Universe: Where Logic Has NOTHING to Do With Your Reality!

"What if every single decision you ever made was the right one, all things considered?

They were, and you totally rock.

What Would Do?
The Universe"

Yes, I know, I just stated something IMPOSSIBLE, or I should say: IMPROBABLE. Obviously, no one is perfect enough to be right, ALL OF THE TIME. But let's analyze this for a second. The decision you will make today will have direct repercussion in your life and probably, in others as well. Depending how you are related, your decision can affect the well being of others, either it being positive or negative. It is obvious that you will do everything in your power to think things out properly before jumping quickly into action. You want to make sure that all options are presented to you so you can select the one that will render the best results. This is human nature, and many adapt this approach in their everyday life. What would you do if every decision you made was right? Now, when I say that it doesn't mean that it was right in the eyes of others, but primarily right for you. That's what counts right? Of course, when you have people depending on you, such as kids or spouse or siblings, you will need to take into consideration many factors prior to making decisions so everyone comes out a winner. All things considered, you will feel accomplished, like a king, like a master that knows NO WRONG. Amazing feeling isn't it? This is how you should feel when you look at your life when you take action. Be confident with your decisions.

I agree that life doesn't always offer you these opportunities of being right all the time, but when you are not, you need to admit to it and confess. It is your responsibility to understand that your decisions today will have an impact tomorrow or in the near future. Be ready to assume responsibilities for your action and correct them at all cost. When you screw up, you fess up and this is what many have difficulties in doing. They rather stop talking to the person they did wrong instead of making amend. This is definitely a good way to screw yourself up in the future. People make mistakes, it is a part of life and admitting to these mistakes is what will make you a better person for yourself and everyone else. There is no need to hide behind your wrongdoings, just come out and breathe the air around you and start fresh. Most importantly, learning to apologize will take you very far in life, no matter if it wasn't all your fault.

6 Things We Should Start Saying To Promote Body Positivity

We live in a body-obsessed culture. If you consume any media, it's nearly impossible to ignore the conversation around what is conventionally considered beautiful. Sadly, the definition of beauty that is perpetrated in the media is narrow and excludes most of the variety that exists in reality.
The body image discourse has been on repeat for years. When I bring it up to friends and family, it mostly generates a "not again" eye roll. Despite sounding like a broken record, change is slow to trickle into the media. Yes, some great advertisement campaigns have begun to slowly shift the conversation, but breaking out of this mindset will take time, while the pressure to conform to unhealthy and unattainable prescriptions seems to only increase.
In my opinion, having a positive body image consists a bold political statement. In a world where we're constantly reminded that we are not enough, loving yourself is taking a stance against unrealistic ideals, and against the objectification and hyper sexualization of bodies. The best place to start promoting a positive body image is to change the way we talk about our own bodies.
By gently challenging negative statements and shifting our language into one that celebrates beauty, diversity and confidence, we can change the popular discourse.
Here are six things we should start (or continue) saying to promote positive body image:

1. "Thank you!"

While humility is an admirable quality, it's also important that we recognize our beauty. It can feel much easier to deny compliments when they're given, but rejecting a compliment can sometimes serve to acquiesce with the pressure that is placed on us to dislike our bodies.
Instead, try flashing a big smile and give a heartfelt “thank you” when you receive a compliment. Some days it might be, “Thank you, I really needed that,” or “Thank you for being so kind.” Whatever you respond, try move away from the “Thank you, but ..."
I’ve found this small change — taking a compliment to heart without deflecting — makes me integrate into my life and psyche the qualities and traits others find beautiful about me.

2. "I like doing ____, and I feel great!"

We're drilled to punish ourselves for the tiniest pleasures. Whether it’s "indulging" in a decadent dessert, swapping the gym session for a spa day or taking time to explore our sexuality, we have a tendency to focus on the harm done rather than enjoying the benefits.
Our bodies can be a source of immense pleasure; isn’t it a shame to not be fully present in those moments? Take the time to relax, give in to things you like to do once in a while and encourage others to do the same. Sharing these experiences serves as a reminder that it’s great to enjoy and discover the amazing ways we can feel.
Moreover, spending time with our bodies in a positive frame of mind helps reinforce those body positive thoughts and attitudes. Indulge in a nice moisturizer, go for a massage, get that lower back pain checked out, have sex ... and talk about it!

3. "Exercise makes me feel energized/strong/happy."

In most conversations (and most exercise studios) physical activity is sold solely for its weight loss benefits. It’s often hard to remember — or even notice — the exhaustive list of benefits provided. Exercise keeps you in good health, physically and mentally, and we need to refocus our definition of health to include things other than physical appearance.
Sure, that rock climbing class has toned your arms, but have you noticed how much stronger you are now? And regardless of how many calories you burn during Zumba, you always leave with a spring in your step.
Find activities that nourish your body and mind. Carve out time for them. Help reframe the conversations to include all aspects of wellbeing, not just your pants size.

4. "I'd rather not talk about this."

Sometimes, it’s hard to ignore conversations about body image. Next time someone says something that strikes you as negative body image, share how important it is to resist giving in to popular discourse. By doing this, we take back the power in the discourse and minimizing the importance of those features that are glorified in our narrow discourse.

5. "The women on TV and in magazines don't represent me."

Acknowledging the lack of diversity in media is the first step in creating change. While there have been some body positive campaigns, the truth remains that the majority of what we see in the media is monotone: white, able bodied, thin, fit, Photoshopped models.

If you know of an alternate, body positive source of information, share it. For example, I have begun following Instagram accounts that illustrate diversity. Seeing them on my feed is a welcome change every day and reminds me that beauty can present itself in a million other ways than what's fed to me in fashion magazines.

6. "I understand."

Developing a positive body image is hard work! These pointers are meant to encourage you and bring you on a journey that will take time and will likely be filled with moments of defeat. Many of us have begun the journey toward developing a positive body image, and it’s always nice to know that we’re not fighting this fight alone.
Deciding to reject beauty standards is hard, and there will be constant reminders to steer us back to where you started. But if we can support each other, it can be done!

When You Start Doing These 15 Things, Your Quality Of Life Will Improve

Though we all give our best to make the most out of our limited time on this planet, there is always something missing. To improve your life doesn’t have to be an uphill battle. Sometimes a few tips are all that you need to start living better.

1. Realize that only you can make your dreams come true

Take little steps every day to move closer to your dreams and ambitions. Speak to the people you need to speak to, learn the skills you need to have, and gain all the knowledge you need to know.
Simply, do all of the things you need to do to reach a better quality of life; no-one else can do it for you.

2. Cut out fake people

Most people have a friend or two who isn’t worth their time. It can be hard to cut people out of your life, but surrounding yourself with loving and supportive people can make a huge difference to your well-being.
Try to describe how you feel when you are around your friends in five words. Are any of those words negative? If so, it might be time that you two move in separate directions.

3. Cut out being fake

It can be hard to admit, but no one is perfect. Often people end up in difficult situations, leading to little lies which can snowball quickly. Lying and keeping up false pretences can be stressful and exhausting, as well as lowering the quality of life you have. Try being honest every day, to everyone you meet; you may be surprised to see how well it works.

4. Understand that failure is important

This may seem cliched, but it is unarguably true. There are often hugely beneficial lessons to learn whenever you make a mistake. Failure isn’t a choice, but learning is. Make sure you get the best out of the worst whenever you can.

5. Spend some time alone

With work, hobbies, socializing and sleeping, it can be hard to actually find time to spend by yourself. However hanging out by yourself can be great for your general well being. Catch a movie, cook a meal you love – do anything that makes you happy. Learn to love yourself, and you may notice a lot of unrest in your life leaving.

6. Live life by your own expectations

Often people live life according to what other people think is best for them; their friends, their family, the media, or the society we live in. However, pleasing other people and living up to their expectations can leave you feeling like a failure, or at best stressed out.
Don’t try to keep up with everyone else’s expectations, set your own and achieve them. You only get one life – personalize it, and live it.

 7. Be good to your body

While joining an extreme ocean diving club could actually add more stress to your life, exercise and good food have been proven to improve your well being. If you hate running, try walking or yoga. Drink more water and buy more greens. You don’t have to become a fitness freak, but love your body as much as you can.

8. Keep exercising your mind

Not many people want to do Math once they’ve left school, but exercising your mind can help sharpen your intelligence and your mind at any age. If you hate Math, find something else that challenges you, from knitting to crosswords to learning new recipes. Keep your mind fresh and keep learning, and you may notice some restlessness leaving from your life.

9. Put aside your fears

While confronting your fear of spiders could be useful, it could admittedly also be terrifying. Specific fears like this tend to stuck, but we have already made a huge step in the right direction, if we manage to get rid of general fears like the fear of failure, or step backs, or your job. Develop a deep trust within yourself, and watch your quality of life improve.

10. Don’t hold on to negative feelings

Everyone has felt betrayal, pain, anger and resentment. How you act on these feelings determines how much they will upset you. You cannot avoid being hurt by other people, but only you can choose how you deal with pain. Let your anger over past hardships go. It is extremely likely the anger is affecting you more than anyone else.

11. Live in the present moment

Be happy and grateful for all that you have now. One day you may have more, and once you may have had less. You are travelling towards a goal, but often people find the happiest times in their lives are during the challenge, not the success.

12. Unplug from technology

Whether it is once a day or once a month, spend some time without any technology around you. In this society social media plays a huge role in most people’s free time, and often it can cause you stress, lowering your quality of life. Make the effort to enjoy some time alone without checking up on everyone else around you. Read a book, do anything you want – just log off and spend some time with yourself.

13. Actively be kind to others

Most people would class themselves as kind to others, but thinking you are doing something and actually doing it are different things. Ask yourself when you last helped someone and got nothing back in return. Was it recently? Do you feel good about it?
Helping others makes most people feel great, and it adds purpose to your day. From volunteering to donating to charities, there are hundreds of ways you could raise your quality of life while helping others.

14. Don’t be a pushover

While being rude or stubborn won’t help improve your life, stick up for yourself whenever you have to; at work, at home, with family. Stand up for yourself if you believe you are being taken advantage of or wronged, because feeling this way can be stressful and upsetting – and it will only encourage others to keep taking advantage of you.

15. Make a commitment to yourself

Make a commitment to stick to all of the changes you wish to make. Promise yourself you will, and then create a plan you can stick to on a daily basis. Little changes can become big changes, and promising yourself this is the beginning of something new which means you’re much more likely to stick to it. Good luck!
