The Beauty of Your Scars

When you have a learning experience, at some point you will be complete with it. It is then that detachment occurs. Once the learning is complete there is no longer any need for the factors that were used to create it. And so, release or detachment is desirable and necessary.

The scar that is left from the detachment is a reminder of the experience and its resultant knowledge and wisdom that was gained as you moved through the experience.Your scars hold the energy of the detachment and represent the knowledge you gained during the experience. Each scar represents the beauty of the wisdom you received as a result of going through the pain of learning.

You will forevermore carry your scars of learning within you. They beautify you and make you unique amongst all others. Each person has their own beauty which was created by their scars of learning experiences. Without them, you would be bland, indistinguishable from others, morphogenic, homogenized humans.

Those who seek the beauty of their scars will stand out, as they shine their light on others. Radiating it outward, they draw to them those who wish to also have such inner beauty.

Shine the beauty of your scars with those who come to you, for that is the purpose of the scars. Keeping your inner beauty, your scars of wisdom, to yourself does no one any good. The purpose of having experiences is to learn from them and to then share that knowledge and wisdom with others.

Consider all the experiences you've had and especially notice those who helped you have each of your experiences, for they were sharing with you the beauty of their scars in order to aid you in creating your own beautiful scars. Be grateful to them for helping you, as those whom you help will be grateful to you for your assistance in teaching them how to create their own beautiful scars.

And on it goes, each one sharing the beauty of their scars with others, and each one becoming more and more beautiful as they gather their learning experiences and create their own scars of wisdom.

Muse upon your scars. Take them one at a time and explore them until you find the beauty within them. Then when the opportunities present themselves - and they will - share the beauty of your scars with others who may benefit from your story of your learning experience and how you acquired such beautiful scars.

You all need more scars and the appreciation of the beauty of each one of them.

Message From the Universe: Start Looking Into the Future, But Live in the Present

"When you visualize a great dream of yours coming true, what do you imagine?

Do you see yourself jumping up and down, doing the happy dance, looking to the sky, and shrieking, "THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU!"? Can you feel the skin on your face stretch as you smile from ear to ear, or the palm of your hands sting as you slap more high-fives? Can you feel your fingers dialing your best friend's telephone number?

Yeah, I think you should.

"Very should,"

The Universe"

So what are YOU going to do when you have reached your ultimate goals? Will YOU jump up and down a sofa like Tom Cruise when he expressed his love for Katie Holmes? Or will you just take a breather, look up into the sky, thank the Universe for everything and be grateful for all the great things that are about to happen in your life? Will you scream from the top of your lungs with joy and tears coming out for all the hard work and sacrifice you have made to make all this happen? Whatever you do, you deserve it. Do all of what is suggested, or do whatever you intent to do and tap yourself on the shoulder for a job well done. You should be proud of everything you have done, because not many are about to go through the same path as you. Not many have the courage, the determination, the desire, the will to sacrifice to get to where you are today.

One important thing to mention though. You are now a TARGET. Yes, you are wealthy, powerful, and everyone wants a piece of what you have but weren't willing to risk it when you were in development stage of your idea. They will all knock on your door congratulating you for an amazing job, with the purpose of getting something out of you. It is important to really decide what step to take from this point forward. Wealth can play some crazy games with your mind so do not go and spend all of it at once. Do not buy yourself luxury cars or mansions. Get yourself smart and trustful financial adviser to how you can re-distribute your wealth so it can start making more money for you. Stay living the same way as you used to, so no one will come knocking on your door as you can delay response by saying: I have taxes to pay, will get back to you when all my responsibilities are met. Keep escrow account aside to give to family and friends and charities. The rest, invest it in your business, in a corporation that NO one can touch your funds, and develop a plan to make yourself more successful. Do not let yourself be taken by living the life of the rich and famous, as when that dies down, the people who partied with you will disappear with your wealth. Be smart!

Trading Places - Find A Reason To Be Grateful

There is always, always, always something to be grateful for. This is how I once opened a lecture to a group of people who were training to become volunteers for a non-profit organization that I worked for. I was met with "How can you minimize someone's experience?" Fair question, but thought it odd, since I had 2 decades in the field working as a crisis counselor, and I was just trying to convey what I myself had learned. So, I replied "Let me throw out a few examples for you."

While it is true that so many of us make the little things, big things. I try never to minimize what someone is going through. But there are two saying that I have found to be true. One only needs to take a look on social media to see the relevance of these sayings. First, the saying "Talking about our problems is our greatest addiction." Powerful! When we continue to talk about our problems, we feed them, and they become much larger than they may actually be. Second, "Right now someone is praying to have the problems you have." Even more powerful. So, when I was pushed for a better example, I offered up the following.

Michelle was diagnosed with Stage 4 Breast Cancer. Horrific diagnosis. She has not been given a prognosis however. Meanwhile Toni was on her way to dinner with her parents to announce that she was getting married. While on the way, she was hit by a drunk driver. Lying on the side of the road and will bleed out before the paramedics can get to her. Do you think she would be willing to trade places with Michelle? While Michelle's diagnosis is not promising, do you think Toni would like a chance to fight for her life? Or, what about getting her house in order? What about saying I love you to family and friends one last time. Do you think she would trade places?

Jason and Wanda have been trying to have a child ever since they were married. Ten years later, they still are not pregnant. They do not want to adopt, and feel cursed. Meanwhile across town, Lisa, a 14 year old girl got pregnant on her first sexual encounter. Her parents demand that she get an abortion so she does not discredit the family name. She feels unloved, out of options and the boy that got her pregnant refuses to talk to her. Would Lisa like to trade places in order not to feel shamed and forced to have this abortion?

Mark is 68 and in a nursing home and has been in constant pain 24 hours a day. His pain is unmanageable, and has been for the past 17 months. Right next to his bed is Linda. She is about the same age as Mark, is being given Palliative Care, and expected to die within the next 72 hours. She is in no pain, family is gathered around her and will ultimately pass in her sleep. Mark has been praying to die. And he would trade places.

Matt is a Heroin addict and homeless. It is winter. He resides in an abandoned building. Tonight he lies there with a needle hanging out of his arm. He has no food, hope or family support. Rhonda is in a rehab and not working her program. She is disruptive, breaking rules and wants to leave, but can't because treatment is court ordered. Do you think Matt would trade places with her? What do you think he would do to trade places to have a bed, bath, meal and to feel loved again? What do you think would happen if he felt hope again?

Dawn is a successful 30 something business owner. Yet all she does is complain that she is not married. Erin, her personal assistant, has been married for six years and constantly listens to Dawn saying she wished she had a husband like her. But what Dawn doesn't know is that Erin's husband has a gambling problem. What's worse, when he loses big at the card table, he comes home and takes it out on her. Erin wants to get a divorce, but she cannot afford it. Furthermore, she believes that if she were to try and leave, he would do harm to himself or her. Would Erin trade places?

The truth is that someone right now is praying to have your problems. Of course we are entitled to have a bad day and to feel sorry for ourselves. But after 30 years working in mental health, I stand by what I said. And that is "There is always, always, always something to be grateful for." Find that something. Now get on with your life. Because we can't always trade places.

Message From the Universe: Life's Possible Outcomes

"Shall I remind you that the reason you care so much, sometimes even worry so much, is because there still exists between you and life, a passionate love affair.

And because of this, everything's going to be just fine.

xxoo,

The Universe"

Never take life too seriously, as many stress experts would say. Embracing changes with open arms doesn't make you a passive person; it just allows you to learn how to be more flexible and more understanding to life's uncertainties. To truly understand what happiness should be is to accept the things you can't control, and whatever that is, figure out how to extract the positive out of every negative situation. You need to look at things with a different pair of lenses, where the old you would focus too much on the bad where the good is something looking you straight in the eyes but you are too blind to pay attention. Obviously, some bad things in life do not have any positive outcomes, no matter how positive you are, but these are the moments where you should take a step back and allow yourself time to analyze the existing situation and make your own conclusion. Sometime, these moments do not have any conclusion at all, and that is absolutely fine.

Life will do whatever it wants and unless you learn to accept that, you will never really live your life. Constantly fighting against it is a lost battle, so why bother. Just imagine facing Mike Tyson in the boxing ring at his peak where he had the opportunity to train hard while you never bothered working out prior to the fight. Based on this scenario, tell me how that will turn out for you. Not too good right? Well, try looking at life the same way. There are things that we can't change no matter how hard we try. Whatever comes in between your concerns of life and the actual outcomes of your life, you need to learn how to appreciate things more and be grateful.

How To Be Happy - Be Grateful!

Happiness Is A Choice

How To Be Happy? There are 2 types of happiness. There is the happiness that we feel in response to an external event or circumstance. An obvious example of this would be our reaction to winning the lottery!

Then there is the happiness that is cultivated internally. This is the energy that arises as a conscious choice rather than the more ephemeral reaction to a piece of good news.

In this article we are going to focus on happiness as a choice.

How To Be Happy - And How Things Are

We all struggle and strive to attain health, wealth and personal happiness. Yet these three big areas: our health, our wealth and our relationships are where we all get hung out to dry - sooner or later.

It is as though there is an inbuilt design flaw that ensures that we all suffer at some point - one way or another.

In the Buddhist perspective, "seeing things as they are" (Sanskrit yatha-bhutam darshanam) basically means to see that all human experience is stamped by three characteristics:

* Impermanence (anitya)

* No-self (anatman)

* Suffering (duhkha)

This is how things are.

As we become aware of these characteristics our point of focus shifts away from the content of our experiences and toward our response to them.

At time of writing in the middle of the Covid-19 lockdown this is a very pertinent point!

However, as Thich Nhat Hanh writes in "Being Peace":

"... life is filled with suffering, but it is also filled with many wonders, like the blue sky, the sunshine, the eyes of a baby.

To suffer is not enough. We must also be in touch with the wonders of life. They are within us and all around us, everywhere, any time."

Zen teacher Alan Senauke offers the following advice for keeping your Joyful Mind when fear and suffering threaten it:

"Joy is an active principle, not a swamp of passivity. No one can steal it... We have choices even though they are often hard to see."

How To Be Happy - Choose To Be Happy

In the bible (Philippians 4:4 NKJV), the psalmist writes: "This is the day the Lord has made; we will rejoice and be glad in it"

He doesn't say "yesterday was a good day so let's give thanks for that" or "tomorrow will be a good day so I'll scrape through today and hang on for tomorrow"

He says today... now... this present moment... we choose to give thanks for this day.

When we complain it is often self-focused - about our current experiences and what I want or don't want.

Happiness is a choice and it comes to those who look beyond themselves to something greater than their own immediate personal happiness based on their circumstances.

The apostle Paul was frequently imprisoned and on one occasion when he was incarcerated with no prospect of release he wrote: "Rejoice in the Lord always... always be joyful... "

His joy was grounded in his focus and was not a reflection of his circumstances.

How To Be Happy - A View From The End

In 2015, the award-winning journalist John Leland (on assignment from "The New York Times") spent time with number of older people with the initial expectation of learning about how they cope with the effects of aging in terms of physical and mental health and overall quality of life.

However what he found was quite extraordinary, despite their circumstances these people lived positive and joyful lives. He captured and expressed his experiences in Happiness Is a Choice You Make: Lessons from a Year Among the Oldest Old:

"Older people consistently reported just as many positive emotions as the younger participants, but had fewer negative ones. They also had more mixed emotions, meaning that they didn't let frustration or anxiety keep them from saying they were happy.

Consciously or unconsciously, they were making the choice to be happy even when there were reasons to feel otherwise...

Using functional magnetic resonance imaging, or fMRI, the researchers found that the emotional processing center of older people's brains, the amygdala, fired more actively when they looked at positive images than negative ones; younger brains reacted to both equally.

In this, older brains resemble the brains of people who meditate."

Leland offers a compelling explanation from the psychologist Laura L. Carstensen, founding director of the Stanford Center on Longevity:

"Her hypothesis, which she gave the wonky name 'socioemotional selectivity,' is that older people, knowing they face a limited time in front of them, focus their energies on things that give them pleasure in the moment, whereas young people, with long horizons, seek out new experiences or knowledge that may or may not pay off down the line.

Our default position is that we'd be "happy if only" every bad thing went away. Whereas, these old people accepted that there are always challenges in life and they choose to be "happy in spite of."

How To Be Happy - The Cognitive Approach

In A Guide to the Good Life: The Ancient Art of Stoic Joy William B. Irvine shares the wisdom of Stoic philosophy and reveals how its insights and advice are refreshingly relevant to now.

In summary, here are 3 key takeaways:

1. "What's The Worst That Could Happen?" - This is what the Stoics refer to as "the premeditation" - which means that there's a lot of value in thinking through carefully, and consciously about the worst that could happen. In most situations your thought process will show that your anxiety about those situations are out of proportion or exaggerated

2. "Fake It To Make It" - Irvine refers to Seneca, who says that when we are angry we should take steps to "turn all (anger's) indications into their opposites." We should force ourselves to relax our face, soften our voice, and slow our pace of walking. If we do this, our internal state will soon come to resemble our external state, and our anger, says Seneca, will have dissipated.

3. "Make It A Treat" - The Stoics understood that denying yourself something makes you appreciate what you would otherwise take for granted, and they regularly undertook quite stringent exercises in self-denial and over long periods of time.

We have left the best and most powerful key to how to be happy to last.

Be grateful!

The practice of gratitude really does make us happy.

Not only does gratitude make us happy there is considerable research that shows that there are many physical, emotional and spiritual benefits that we can enjoy from this practice.

To make a start on how to be happy, all that is needed is a change in perspective.

You can feel it right now if you choose to.

"Joy does not simply happen to us. We have to choose joy and keep choosing it every day." (Henri Nouwen)

Spreading Happiness - How to Make People Happy Around You

Make people attain happiness. I can promise you it will return to you ten-fold. Guess how? Read on.

There are various ways to make people happy. It's usually helping them get what they want. What do they want? They will be usually in the following forms:

  1. Having more wealth
  2. Having vibrant health
  3. Be in the perfect romantic relationship
  4. Having children
  5. Be successful in their careers
  6. Wanting the perfect wellbeing of their children
  7. Wanting their children to be successful in their careers when they grow up
Now here is a couple of ways you can help them regarding their wants:

1. Health-wise parents and children can do well if they know a good doctor who will give them offers, instructions and advice from time to time. You can help them get familiarized with a skilled doctor who is able to help them in the areas they would like so that their worries will vanish and they will feel happy.

2. About parents and later their children having successful careers and generating handsome wealth, you could introduce them to a good career mentor with bountiful experience who can offer them tips and suggestions on budgets, asset maintenance and savings. If you could help them find such a good knowledgeable mentor, they will become super joyous when they start seeing results and credit you and be grateful to you. Likewise they can introduce a similar mentor to their children when the latter will need so after they grow up.

3. Parents should be an example to their children. They should work out their relationships and understand each other and commit to each other and their families. When children watch their parents in romance, they will carry the image with themselves and behave the same with their partners when they marry and be in romantic relationships. Of course, you could help out troubled parents or their children regarding their shaky marriage, if that is the case, by finding them a good relationship doctor and allowing them to contact her should anything go astray. When they find themselves back on track with her help, they will remember you and consider you to be their valuable living asset. They will be happy when things get back under control.
Summing up, these are some of the ways you can help people around by catering to them with a good health doctor, good relationship doctor and good career mentor. And since they are likely to remember the way you have helped them to make them happy, they will bend their ears to you, asking you how they can help. You have a whole community asking you such a question because you have been helping all the people around.
Think for a while what is it that you would want for your happiness and go ahead and ask. The community will certainly reward you generously. You can't help being over the moon, beaming all smiles.

Dissatisfaction Breeds Creativity

HD wallpaper: blackboard, idea, bubble, business, creativity ...

The famous Bob Proctor asserts 'Dissatisfaction is a creative state'. Do you agree?

Be grateful in life.
Be satisfied with what we have and never ask for too much.

How many times have we come across these statements?

Agree that Gratitude is the genesis of all progress in life. The Law Of Attraction reveals to us that the more gratitude we show for what we already have, the more we will attract in our life.

However, do you really believe we should be satisfied with what we are or with what we have when deep inside we know our true potential is dormant? Dissatisfaction breeds creativity because it sets your mind on a continuous thinking frequency. And this was exactly what I have been going through for the past six to seven years. And my questions in my mind changed FROM

  • Is this all life is about?
  • Till when will this continue?

TO

  • How can I change my life?
  • How can I tap into my true potential and project my real worth to the world?

Way back in Mauritius I had a great job, decent income but yet I was not satisfied with my working lifestyle. The truth is I was not happy with my cubicle lifestyle at all because I knew I wasn't projecting my best version to the world. This bothered me a lot as I did not know how to change my life? Dissatisfaction gave rise to my curiosity and I was intrigued by what affluent people, enjoying a freedom lifestyle, were doing differently from people caged in a cubicle, trading TIME for MONEY: people like me. Some people have defined this state of mind as Creative Dissatisfaction.

No matter how harder I worked, the situation was stagnating or even getting worse. More time was being traded for money. THERE MUST BE A WAY OUT AND I CANNOT BE STUCK IN THIS LIFESTYLE ALL MY LIFE. I kept saying and I kept researching: The Secret, The Magic, The Power, Unleash Your Power Within, Think and Grow Rich, to name a few of the personal growth books that became my best friends on this journey. Through my readings I realised that I couldn't hope for a different result if I kept doing the same thing: as long as I restricted myself in a cubicle and kept complaining, I would never be able to change my life. Research has shown & famous personal growth gurus have affirmed that all affluent and wealthy people have multiple sources of income. And I was determined to create this lifestyle too: A freedom lifestyle with multiple sources of income as I had a burning desire to Escape the Rat Race.

Crossing the oceans in quest of freedom did not instantaneously change my cubicle lifestyle and my new questions did not stop either. However I realised that I was no longer feeling stuck. My new set of questions were changing my paradigms on my lifestyle for me. Suddenly I felt there was hope ahead. My mind had become creative in its state of dissatisfaction. And gradually several options were opening their gateway. The rise of the Digital Economy opened doors to opportunities. Why not adopt the digital lifestyle: The Internet lifestyle!

More than ever, I now believe that the right opportunity comes to the right person at the right time. Oprah Winfrey defines this circumstance as 'LUCK': When Preparation Meets Opportunity.

If you believe your worth is much more than the hourly rate printed on your bi-weekly or monthly payslip,

If you believe that your passion and purpose are beyond a cubicle,

If you want to be different from the crowd and escape the rate race,

Then,

Make the DECISION & Define a GOAL

A decision is like that linchpin without which no other action will unfold.

  • If you wish for change to happen
  • If you are dissatisfied with your current results,

Then you have no other choice than to become creative! Remember, dissatisfaction is the abode for creativity. There must come that point in your life where you make that decision to stop doing what you have been doing until now; Once you make that decision, your whole life change gear as from that point. Set yourself a goal on what you want to achieve.

We need a goal that's such a burning desire for us that we HAVE to get it done to motivate us to do more. Make it something you lose sleep over. Make it something epic. Make it awesome. It will be your motivating force- that target which never leaves your vision.
Create a PLAN

If you don't have a plan, you are just showing up and playing bumper cars with everyone else. You are only as good as your plans. Successful outcomes are a result of good strategies and game plans. Sporting events, business goals, and battles cannot be won without a plan. The success of all of these things are dictated by systems and plans, yet, when we think about our lives, how many of us actually have a plan for success?

Most people don't have a plan because they don't know even know what they want out of life. Once you figure that out, you can form a specific plan to accomplish that specific outcome.

Remember: Detailed goals drive specific actions to achieve those goals.

Which brings us to taking action on our plans...

Take Consistent ACTION

Decision, Goal and Plan are useless if there is no consistent action taken upon. It has to be something you are excited to work on EVERYDAY. It has to be something that DRIVES you. Your PASSION can be your drive. As humans, we tend to only work as hard as we have to. Thus, the secret is to have something driving you that forces you to be creative and take action!

Important part of the journey is learning and educating yourself consistently. You don't have to be alone in your journey.

Seek the coaching and guidance of mentors who have already achieved what you are seeking to achieve.

Most happy, highly successful and fulfilled entrepreneurs have created their own way. That is what separates them from everybody else. These remarkable entrepreneurs create whatever they want, whenever they want with whomever they choose in their life. The common thread between all of them is the drive they possess to write their own ticket.
Do you have a drive to write your own ticket? Dissatisfaction with your current lifestyle can become a drive if your wish to create a better lifestyle turns into a burning desire.

Message From the Universe: When Your Success Is Inevitable

"When in doubt, show up early. Think less. Feel more. Ask once. Give thanks. Expect the best. Appreciate everything. Never give up. Make it fun. Lead. Invent. Regroup. Wink. Chill. Smile. And live as if your success was inevitable, and so it shall be.

Happy global domination,
The Universe"

It's all about a feeling right? Just like the song "I gotta feeling" from Black Eyed peas. Feel the energy you possess, feel the success even before it happens. Feel like nothing can stop you, and that you are invincible. You know you are capable of accomplishing anything you put your mind into so why ever think otherwise. Appreciate everything you have, be thankful, be grateful and get that hungry feeling of getting everything you ever dreamed off. I am sure that despite the challenges you are facing or will face in your lifetime, you will push through and will come out a winner. Never allow anyone to convince you otherwise, and especially that little voice inside you that will try to negate your effort and will certainly create fear in your mind to abandon your goal. Listen to that other voice that direct you in the path of righteousness and encourages you to never let go of your dreams. This is the ultimate voice you need to listen to. During moments of anxiety or stress, I am sure you will always figure out ways to push through these moments and find the best solution that will fit your needs and expectations. Life is a journey, NOT a destination.

As life being a journey, never forget to LIVE that life, and not wait for getting to where you want to be to finally live that life. As we all know that some destination is the end of life, never feel like you stopped living that journey to start living when you arrive at destination. This is never the way to experience life. The moment is NOW, TODAY, AT THIS MOMENT IN TIME. Never think like: "When I get this job, I will be able to buy this or that" or "When I have a family, I will be able to do the things I always wanted to do" or " When I graduate, I will have more opportunities available to me". Nothing is guaranteed so when you do live that life, learn to live it TODAY so you never end up regretting not living it when you are no longer able to enjoy it. Life is too short to live this way to start taking the time to enjoy the moments you have and appreciate the many opportunities you live in everyday. The most important thing is to NEVER give up. Success is right around the corner.

The Mental Growth Spurt

Brown Hawk Flying Above Green Trees Artwork

I've noticed a theme in the last few months. Nothing fits.

I'm talking: clothes, shoes, positions, ideas, reactions, beliefs, relationships and more, have become ill-fitting.

Have you ever felt this way? Like you've outgrown many things in your Life?

Since you've begun your journey to Wholeness and Self-Awareness, you may notice that your newly unclouded mind is not so easily accepting things that no longer serve you.

  • What you once believed in with all your might, you've begun to question.
  • The people you had a great time with, are no longer in alignment with your needs.
  • The job you once hoped you'd get, has become a main source of stress.
  • And that relationship you thought you'd die without, no longer keeps your interest.

If any of those things seem close to the truth for you, YOU ARE OUTGROWING THIS STAGE OF LIFE. Trying to keep things as they are now is like putting on your once roomy jeans that now fit more like leggings and laying on the bed sucking in your stomach for dear life to force the button through the hole. Sure, you've got them on and probably look amazing on the outside. But inside, you're cutting off your circulation praying for the end of the day where you can finally get out of them and feel your legs again.

A few things to consider:

  • Don't force things to fit into your life when all signs point to - You've outgrown it.
  • As inconvenient as it may seem to find new jeans to fit in, more positive people to be around, new positions to search for, and getting to know the new you - it's worth it.
  • You've been asking for change, and so it is. A part of that desire being fulfilled and those prayers being answered, is that you now allow the change to happen.
  • There's a huge requirement to Let Go, just as the trees in Autumn are unafraid when their leaves begin to fall. You too can trust that things you needed before, are no longer necessary for what you will do and be in this next season.

Prepare for the stretch of your wings that free you from the confines of your once needed cocoon. Appreciate what has been and what has served you well in past. Release yourself from people and situations that are no longer contributing to your growth. Trust that you will have everything you need and more in this new season.
Be grateful for the things you've outgrown because they are indicators of how much you are growing.

Message From the Universe: Wealth Is Knocking on Your Door

"You see, there is a choice for all who aspire to live in abundance that only the wisest ever perceive.

You can visualize a life in which you possess fabulous wealth.

Or... You can visualize a life in which you are creatively fulfilled, with fantastic work, dancing in the marketplace... and you possess fabulous wealth.

Do you see the oh-so-subtle difference?

I see you as the dancing sort,
The Universe"

No matter which way you look at it, the bottom result is based on your positive thoughts. If you think positively, you will see great changes in your life and appreciate how fortunate you are to have all your dreams come true. The opposite is also true so why go there? You have to enjoy what you are doing as well, regardless of the money you make. I have heard of many stock brokers making 2 to 5 million dollars yearly jumping off the Brooklyn bridge because of possible stress or lack of happiness. Whatever their reasons, they made a decision to terminate their lives. Happiness is not defined by the money you have in your bank account of the assets you possess, but primarily with how you use these tools to make someone else's life easy. You are lucky enough to be self-motivated, determined, eager to succeed, a go-getter, and whatever other attributes you possess that brought you where you are today. Not many have these skills so be proud of them. So if you enjoy what you do on a daily basis, you will wake up every morning and be grateful for all these opportunities you have been presented with. Life is about enjoying every moments you have on earth and not take these moments for granted as you do not know how long they will last.

Visualizing your path to success is crucial to get the ball rolling in the direction you anticipated when you first started. Just look at the beginning of this journey as the Big Bang when the Universe you see today started as a single point of singularity and exploded to create the billion of galaxies we see today. As the Universe is constantly expanding due to the dark energy in space, we can compare this to your level of motivation that keeps you moving forward regardless of the many set backs you will endure in your journey to ultimate success. Everything will stop when YOU decide to stop. But is this what you really want? Do you want to abandon your journey to ultimate success? The answer to these questions is really up to you. You can decide which way you want to go but as long as you are willing to accept the outcome of your decision, no matter which decision you take will be a step forward to helping you become a better person today, tomorrow and the rest of your life.

Life Is So Simple - Why Insist on Making It So Complicated?

SIMPLE is the name of the game so you confuse me when you say it's COMPLICATED. Stop it and tell your mind to shut up and get it right. Always remember there's someone else in a worse situation than you are so be grateful for what you have and stop complaining about what you don't have. Instead of complaining, work towards things you desire. If you're not waking up everyday with a goal in mind than you're still sleeping. It is so easy to blame external factors for the things you don't have but let's really dig deep within and find out what's holding you back from getting what you want. Stop wishing and start doing. There's nothing wrong with being a dreamer but that in itself is only the first step.

You have your first step nailed down, VISUALIZING what you desire.

The second step is to do something about it. Get up and get into ACTION. If one plan doesn't work then try another and keep trying until you get to your destination.

Lastly be able to make a COMMITMENT to your dreams, goals, desires; whatever it is that you call it.

Write your goals down every morning and every night. Put them somewhere you are able to see it throughout the day. And before you know it you'll be on your way to getting the things you want in life.

The problem arises when we human beings like to complicate things by over thinking something as simple as having breakfast. Good Lord, no wonder why people are living in so many unsatisfied relationships, unsatisfied jobs, unsatisfied careers and the list could keep on going. See, your mind is there to protect you from anything that could hurt or harm you hence the fight or flight response. But darn sometimes you need to quiet your mind to stay and fight for what you want because if you allow it to keep running you, you are allowing it to keep flying away from what could be such as your goals. It's really not always about just getting to your goals; it is about whom you become while you reach for your goals.

Make a decision to stay and fight, don't sit there and wish and complain and moan and cry about the things you don't have. Get up and get into action and take the first step that will lead you in the direction of your goals.

Don't over think it and take calculated risks. Make a choice. Make a decision. Make it wisely. Make it powerfully. Make it consciously.

How to Use Positive Affirmations When Feeling Anxious

The Power Of Affirmations
Writer and speaker Joyce Meyer wrote a book that became an international best seller, titled The Battlefield of the Mind. In it she discusses how our minds are indeed like a war zone, and how we must take charge of our thoughts. Many people have celebrated using the book's life changing advice. Joyce extended her study and discussion in a follow up book called Power Thoughts, which introduces a group of extremely powerful affirmations for use in different situations.

Positive Affirmations Have Power to Help You Overcome Anxiety
In work situations that are extremely stressful, and things can be becoming overwhelming, it can be easy to lose control, and want to take flight from the situation. If you practice beforehand, making your mind up that you will stay in control, and write yourself out positive affirmations, like the ones Joyce Meyer recommends in Power Thoughts, you will go a long way to overcoming feeling anxious.

Prepared Beforehand Leads To Successful Outcomes
You may feel a bit strange at first talking to yourself, and speaking out loud different positive statements, but eventually they will become natural. A well known psychological therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, examines negative, false, irrational and illogical thoughts that we have, and the participants are trained to recognize these, and then instantly replace them with a series of positive and affirming beliefs and thoughts.

Meta-Cognition - Think About What You Are Thinking About
Using positive affirmations is also extremely powerful, because it draws you into focused attention on what you are thinking about. When you are aware of your thoughts, that is meta-cognition. Awareness of your thoughts will help you to master any negative thoughts, and instead replace them with calming and positive thoughts. The beautiful and powerful thing about positive affirmations is that they can be used in literally any and every situation. They can turn an anxiety provoking event into a calm and successful occasion.

Taking Positive Affirmations One Step Further
When you begin your day, each day, take time to reflect on having positive outcomes in your day. Be grateful for the day that you have, and then speak out positive affirmations about your day. Speak positively about the situations that you will be facing that day, allow yourself enough time to get to things that you need to do, and keep yourself organized and avoid procrastination so you become really empowered to overcome anxiety for good.

Message From the Universe: Speak It and It Shall Happen!

"Some people say life is hard. It is not.

Some people say it's easy. It is not.

Some say it's lonely, tricky, or a test. It is not.

Life is only a reflection of whatever you say.

What say you?
The Universe"

Say life is amazing, say life is great. Say that you wouldn't want it to be any other way. Be grateful for what life has to offer. Look into yourself and appreciate the things you already have. Do not complain about having more of this or that, not having enough of $$$, not driving a better car, not working at a better job, not dating a nicer significant other. If you are seeking these changes, life can only do so much. You want more money, look into creating opportunities for yourself. Wanting to drive that nicer car? Get the money first but start looking at the car you really want, go test drive it, look into the features, the color, the model, and so on and so forth. More you are into wanting that car, and more it will happen, based on how the Universe will align itself for that to happen. Obviously, sitting on your ass and not doing anything about getting that car will NOT suddenly appear in your garage. Reach out to the Universe, show that you are willing to do anything it takes to get that car, believe that you will reach that goal and let the Universe take care of the rest.

How about that job? Are you miserable in it? Do you feel that your boss is taking you for granted? Let me ask you. If someone slaps you in the face, will you give them the other cheek to slap? Understanding that jobs are hard to find, but there are some out there waiting for you to fill in the position. Just look harder and you shall find. Miserable in your present relationship? Things are not going the way you wanted? Is he or she taking you for granted? Yes, love hurts but staying in a toxic relationship can hurt more. Look at it like a band-aid, tear it off, do it quickly. It will hurt the first time you pull the plug, so to speak, but the wound will heal and you will be ready to meet someone new and definitely better. Never let them put you down by saying: "You will never find anyone like me out there, or whatever". The best answer to that is: "I hope not. I pray there is only one ass like you out there. Adios Muchachos". So now that all answers have been given to you, start saying: "Life is great, life is good, life is what I want it to be"

Message From the Universe: Wanting More Out of Life

"It doesn't get any more beautiful, any more magical, any richer, or any easier than things are right now. Until, of course, you start expecting it to get more beautiful, magical, richer, and easier.

At which point, I hope you have a really good broker.

Who loves you,
The Universe"
There is never anything wrong in wanting more out of life. You work hard for the things you have but you can also seek a better life than what you have now. Never forget to be grateful for the things you already have though. Thank God and the angels for having health, because that is what's most important. If you have health, everything else in life will be easier. You can be the richest person on Earth but bed ridden, how can you call that wealth? We might all have that strong desire to provide for our families, to give them everything they need, but the reality is how much can they actually receive? Can anyone drive two cars at the same time? Can anyone eat more than what the body can handle? How much more space do you need in a house besides filling that space with junk? I can guarantee you that someone living in a 50 000 sqft house has probably never visited some areas of the house and probably never will. Besides the cost to heat or cool the house, you will never enjoy that much space. The interesting part is that eventually, you will want to eventually get rid of that mansion to acquire something more manageable, and SMALLER. This is what most wealthy people do. Bigger the home, bigger the headaches. Life is meant to be lived having great dreams and goals, but also living it stress and headache free.

My dreams are limitless and I can admit that I seek to obtain that large mansion and live in it for a few years to eventually get rid of it and get something smaller. The idea here is to know that you are capable of doing so, that you have reached the dreams and goals you have given yourself throughout the years, that you know what you are able to accomplish throughout your lifetime. Life is testing every one of us, every single day of our lives, and depending on how you deal with the challenges thrown at you, chance can either be on your sides or against you. By working more on yourself, you will be able to change your mindset when it comes to dealing with obstacles and come out a winner. Effort is required on your part but once you get the hang of it, you won't let the petty things bother you and will focus more on helping others that can't help themselves. When doing that, the whole world around you will change for the better. One word of caution. Always listen to your inner voice when it comes to helping others. Lots of vultures out there looking for easy prey to munch on. Do not give help to those who will deliberately take advantage of you.

The Golden Words For A Successful Life

It is pretty obvious that when we use golden words to our advantage, we get a better chance for a successful life. These words which work like magic push us to keep going and not quit. Yet, too many of us give up too soon when it comes to sticking with a change or a brand-new thing in our lives.
Why do people decide to make a change then just give up? What makes it happen? What is the reason that pushes them to quit on things? Have you ever given up on something in your life?

At times, I know I did. We begin by getting excessively happy and fascinated to chase something we just set for ourselves. It feels like it is worth it, that it will work out, but after a while, we come across barriers standing in our way. Then our emotions get the best of us, the dream fades away, we are disappointed, forget the golden words, and so we give up.

So, how do successful people keep going while the others call it quits? Well, it is because we live in a generation where instant gratification is the 'new style.' Therefore, most people are impatient as they judge that things are just taking too long or getting too complicated.

Patience, time, hard work, sacrifices are a part of the process for any successful life. Failing, making mistakes and going through hell is going to happen no matter what we do. It is in those times of hardship that golden words come even more into play.

In life, many things do not go according to plan. If you fall, get back up. When you stumble, regain your balance. Never give up. Do not quit. Keep going. Those are golden words you could use to push yourself through when you encounter fences, walls, barriers, and obstacles in life.

Using Inspirational Words
We all need such inspirational and motivational words made of gold to start, keep going and reach our goals. The barriers in front of you will not cease to exist, but you sure can prepare yourself. Therefore, you have two choices:

  • Keep going and overcome the walls, obstacles, doubts, and fears you get.
  • Give up, quit and walk away.

So, using any golden words can keep you strong and motivated in any situation in life. Know that your feelings frequently get in the way and try to take control as you face difficulties. These emotions are not doing you any good, so you have to use powerful phrases to get a boost and keep a move on.
The Essential Golden Words
We all use golden words of motivation to drive us further in life or through something we believe in. Do you ever give up when things became too hard? If the answer is yes, why do you?

I know we all did at some point in time. But next time, do not quit. Stay on track. Follow one course until successful. Below are my top golden words for you to use anytime you feel like starting something, pushing through and keeping at it until completion.

Believe in Yourself
The first golden words and the number one rule for success are to believe in yourself. You need to believe beyond doubt that you can do it. Not just on the beginning, but all the way through. So, repeat "I believe in myself" and trust in your abilities.

Next time someone tells you that it is impossible or you cannot do it, prove them wrong. Learn about and copy successful people. It is time to awaken the warrior within you.

Be Determined
The next golden word you should get is "I am determined." You determine to get through barriers that will make you a successful individual. If you can keep going, be determined, push on with your efforts, and do not quit, you will inevitably arrive where you want.

Remember that all you worked so hard for will be gone the instant you choose to quit. So, be like the wolf climbing the hill, coming to get what you came for, and always hungry for more.

Be Grateful
Know that no matter how hard your life now is, the moment will pass. Therefore, be thankful in any circumstances, even the most difficult ones. The phrase "I am grateful" is of those golden words that keep you in a positive state while problems arise.

I know it is not easy, but you have to focus on cultivating gratefulness, and your life will change. Do it even when your life is good or not so good. Do not settle for anything else.

Keep Going
Time is often necessary. Things will not happen overnight. You just have to keep going and find a more efficient or even another way to go forward. The golden words "keep going" should often be used and kept in your repertoire. Focus on them when you have a hard time, think there are no more avenues or feel like giving up.

Do not underestimate the power of these unique words which can help you complete specific goals. Just like the soldier in the film "Hacksaw Ridge" that keeps going all night to save as many of his injured fellow combatants as he can. And says to himself "just one more." Therefore, be the hero of your own story.

Stay Strong
"Stay strong" is another of those golden words you should keep in mind. The road to success is everything but an easy one. If something is harder than you thought, it is time to stay strong and keep going.

Staying strong will help you progress so that over time, things will get easier. Do not be discouraged if things are not going your way. Remember: the goals we are most proud of are the most challenging.

Be Patient is also a Golden Word
Great things take time, but nowadays everyone is a hurry to get. Most people want instant gratification. But remember this golden word: "Be patient." Anything worthwhile creating takes a lot of time, and each thing has a natural time to come into life.

Be Always Inspired
You have to always be inspired, so just imagine your end goal, and continually remember why you are doing what you are doing. Remember what do inspire you in the first place about your goal and focus on the golden words "I am always inspired."

When you begin a project, make a change or create something new, you feel captivated, inspired and all pumped up. After a while, these emotions start to wear off, and you realize it is not that easy. So always keep your inspiration boost up.

Face Fears
Another of those golden words is "I am not afraid, and I face my fears." Know that by facing your fears, you can leave your comfort zone. You can then grow and develop. Once you have obtained each milestone you set for yourself, you will be able to go even further.

Therefore, when you leave your comfort zone, you go beyond your limits and boundaries. You learn new skills and get more knowledge.

The Ultimate Golden Word: Never Giving Up
When you think that things should be easy, but they are harder than you thought, you may feel like quitting. That way, no more effort is necessary. You could give up, and no more problems. Welcome freedom!

One of the most famous golden words you need to have is "I never give up." All successful people do persist, keep going, move on even after failure and never give up. If you copy this mindset, you are well on your way to a successful life.

A Final Suggestion about Golden Words
A final suggestion is that you may have to repeat these golden words to yourself over and over, many times. You just have to do it until you get it becomes a natural part of you. And remember that your present conditions are not your definitive results.

A beautiful thing about golden words is that you can acquire and learn them. Stay strong. And do not be discouraged. Successful people always use the above phrases and keep going no matter what. You do not have to quit anything. Just know that you were born a winner!

Message From the Universe: Doing What You Want, ALWAYS

"Always when you just don't know what you want, want happiness; and when you just don't know what to do, do anything.

You can start today,
The Universe"

If you want something in life, just ask for it! If you want to do anything, just go for it! If you want to succeed with everything, take the first step towards reaching your dreams. Is that SO difficult to ask? We live in a world where most people are too afraid to ask anything, because of their fear to be perceived as demanding, or selfish in some way. Remember that if you don't ask for what you want, the answer will always be NO. The same goes with everything else in life. If you have dreams but do not take a step towards accomplishing the demands of making your dreams a reality, don't go and complain that nothing in happening in your life. You reap what you sow, always remember that. Everything will require hard work, but expecting to do everything by yourself can take more time and be more difficult than just asking help from others. There is nothing wrong to ask when you know it will save you time and possibly money. Asking doesn't make you a weak person, you just have to be tactful and make others WANT to help you. The way to ask for help is what will make the other person be there and provide the help you need. Being demanding while asking for it will definitely give you the cold shoulder, so always ask politely.

So when you want something, always go for wanting everything. However, do not be disappointed if not EVERYTHING comes your way. Always aim for the top but be grateful to have anything coming from your expectations. Learn to always work towards your goal and never feel bad about asking for things throughout your journey to wealth, health and happiness. If you know what you want, then go out there and take what you want, but don't expect everyone to be willing to give you that help that you need to reach your goals. Everyone have dreams and many will prioritize them over yours. You may get 9 No's before you get 1 person willing to help. As long as you keep asking, you will always end up with someone who is there to give you their helping hand. Most people are good and are happy to help, and you should do the same, despite you reaching your financial success or not. Be grateful for what you have and never allow fear to stop you from taking risks and going for what you want in life. This is the beauty of life, it is to have the privilege to take your share, focus on what you want to do and just DO IT.

Message From the Universe: Do the Best With What You Have

"The reason trees are so good at time management is because they do one thing at a time to the very best of their ability.

Well, they do -
The Universe"

We are all masters of our own trade, either be doctors, lawyers, engineers, dentist, and so on and so forth. We focus our best to learn more about what we don't know to become better professionals. You will see a physician finishing his shift at the ER to catch a bus and attend to his brick laying job right? You wouldn't want that doctor treating you in case of emergency at any point in time? Practice makes perfect, and that applies with everything in life. Learn to be the best you can be, with everything you put your mind to. If you love music, just go and practice as much as you can until you become an expert at it and hopefully be a part of a band and tour the world.

Apply yourself in your career, your relationships, your family, friends, and everything else that requires your time and energy. Nothing in life will come easy, well, at least, the things are are worth it. Learn to be patient, and always be grateful of the outcome. Things may not always render the expected results but as long as you have given all you got to get to where you want to be, there is no reason to have any regrets. Love life as much as you can and appreciate the things that comes with it. Life is to short so make sure you enjoy every moments you have with yourself, your loved ones and everyone else you want to share it with. Be generous and spread the joy.

Message From the Universe: The Power of Your Thoughts

"Today, be the person of your dreams.

See life through THEIR eyes.

Make decisions with THEIR mind.

Let every thought, word, and action come from THEIR perspective, as if you had already arrived, and just watch how everything comes together, just like a well designed puzzle.

Peace, love, and lots of happiness-
The Universe"

Envision positive changes, the changes that you've been looking for in years. You feel it because it is new, something that you have never experienced before. You know the changes you have made will direct you to a new path that feel right, that looks great. You are on your way to accomplishing miracles for yourself and everyone around you. It's a given.

Be careful what you wish for, because in many cases, it will happen and it might render much better results than what you've anticipated. Do not let yourself be intimidated by your own dreams, because they are yours and you are familiar with them. You are the one who created them, so there shouldn't be any surprises. For the past couple of decades, you have dreamed of being wealthy, being famous, being this or that and now that it is happening, be grateful but be careful. Do not let all this changes transform your being. Remember where you come from and it was through the hard struggles and sacrifice that you have reached your success. This should always be remembered and helping others reach the same level as you IS a requirement for keeping the wheel turning properly. Life is a cycle, and abundance is there, no matter which way you look at it. Learn to share your wealth and no matter how much you give, it will come back ten fold. So, if I give you 1 dollars, and 10 dollars comes back to me, I would say it is a pretty good investment isn't it? However, if I lose that one dollars, it is OK, I been blessed with a lot more from where it came from.

Let Go of Regretting & Fretting Over Money (By Jeanna Gabellini)

A client complained that his debt wasn't going away. He said he'd paid several big payments toward his credit card bill but the balance was still huge. I asked questions about how he actually felt about the debt. He said he felt bad because "everyone knows that credit card debt is bad." My radar went up.

Did we talk about a plan to pay it off? Nope.

Did we talk about how the debt got there? No, again.

We talked about the perception that credit card debt is bad.

If you feel bad about current debt, you have no freedom. You'll hear voices in your head like:

"Shame on me for using that credit card."
"You are not very good with money."
"You should never buy anything on a credit card ever again."

Take note: These statements immediately make you feel like a victim, weak, and/or wrong. Not very empowering, are they? When you're feeling guilty for something you did in your past, you'll find it very hard to be powerful in the present.

Guilt and shame are the most disempowering emotions you can experience. Not to mention, if all of your attention is going to "bad debt," guess what you will attract? More of the same kind of debt!

Be grateful for what the credit or loan gave you.

Why not be regret-free on your way to debt-free?!

By no means am I telling you to go out and rack up debt. But to feel bad about what has been done is simply useless. The only reason to look back at things you're not pleased about is to look at what you've learned through the experience.

The learning is best done by being objective. Did your actions bring you the desired outcome? What other options could you have chosen at the time?

You can play the same game on yourself when you wallow in sorrow about how you didn't make your income goals last year or how you should've invested in something but didn't.

Your life is not a test on how well you do financially. We're all going to miss opportunities, be compulsive, be scared, think inside the box, or be lazy at some point.

So what?! Move on. Step up to the plate and swing again. Swing with more focus, power, and commitment. And swing joyfully!

When you beat yourself up, you create separation from self. You feel small and make the situation larger than it is.

Two of the most empowering emotions are appreciation and joy. You can even appreciate the lessons you've learned from every decision you've made in the past about money. So, look forward and backward in your life with your highest good in mind. There is no such thing as a mistake. Only experiences.
