The Path Of The Soul

The completion of an isolated task assumes relative importance in my life if I do not insert that task in the broader context, but if it is, it immediately becomes more relevant, at least within that project, because it is an element of the puzzle that finds its place in the larger scheme. In the same way, every chapter of my life is part of what I am building and is therefore fundamental, because it brings me closer and closer to the realization of my goal, the goal of my soul. It is on this basis that I determine how vital my projects are because they are important only within the greater realization. If I have a clear idea of my goal and complete a project that can facilitate its achievement, the latter is doubly important and brings me a step forward towards the final realization.

When, on the other hand, I complete a project that is an end in itself and goes beyond a superior perspective, it is relatively essential, and its meaning is of equal value. Without a context, a separate program is relevant only to the emotional space-time of its attainment and is temporary fruition to be repeated or easily forgotten in the achievement of the following analogy. There is no need for a complicated aim to give a project a meaning. It can be something like increasing my overall happiness or even something fun to give me the drive to move forward or accelerate. All my behavior should be predominantly intentional, and I should tend to undertake projects only when there is a good reason for doing so. In any case, it is normal; usually, an adult person does not dig holes and then fill them, he or she needs a reason.

The difference, therefore, between the objective and the project is that the first is a final result, a point of arrival, a state of being, and the second is the channeling of actions that I feel obliged to take to help me reach a goal. So I start defining the purpose, I create a project to achieve it, and I carry out the tasks to complete it and thus reach the goal. My soul has a goal, also called The Path of the Soul, which manifests, develops, and materializes, with a concatenation of realized projects. Any finished project is part of the path of the soul; even those integrated into the context of basic survival needs, improvement of social status, and the need for security. The soul also needs this because it cooperates with the broader design, that of this life, but not only this. If I am content with little or rest on my laurels, I risk finding my soul hungry, and it is not the best situation considering that it has an infinite journey before it.

All of this quite clearly indicates to me that knowing my purpose or destiny or project of the soul in this incarnation is of fundamental importance. If I do not have an intention, I am stalled exclusively within the context of pure and simple survival necessity, which does not need me to carry it forward. Survival does not need to evolve into awareness, to open up and expand beyond the I AM, into the universal understanding and contact, into the consideration of the infinite other souls with their own countless goals and projects and paths to be traveled. Survival, by its very nature, is hard to master; it always needs something else that is usually placed in the future or hypothetical. But I do not need to master it to start pursuing my deeper or higher purpose. I have to learn to live with it and enjoy the present - already full of everything - as I explore the path to knowing the use of my life and the goal of my soul, which are usually very close, less than a span above my mind.

Why Hire A Personal Life Coach?

Here are a few key reasons how hiring a Personal Life Coach can unlock your highest potential.

  1. Done with therapy. It can feel great to talk about our problems but it doesn't solve them. We can look at what we think is wrong all day long. Or we can change our perspective. Looking back and analysing only gets us so far. We need to take action.
  2. Feeling stuck. People can feel stuck in life and in their current situation. When you are involved in the detail of your life, it can be difficult to see your options. Coaching helps you to see all potential options and understand limiting beliefs so you can really see what is possible.
  3. Feeling lost. Many clients find that they have ended up in a career or a relationship and don't know how they got there. It isn't their passion. It may not be what they studied or wished for. They can feel lost and confused, unsure about how to make changes in their life. Their confidence could be low. They experience the benefit of having support, encouragement and accountability that a coach offers. Coaches ask the questions and the clients have the answers. It's about unlocking a persons potential which is lying dormant.
  4. Unhappy. People can be unhappy for a number of reasons and become familiar with this state of being. Coaching is positive outcome focused, so we are not relying on analysing the unhappiness and digging up old ground. We look at where you are now and how you want your life to be. And then focus on moving in the right direction.
  5. Being Comfortable. Your comfort zone is the zone of safety. Or is it? It is scary yet amazing to feel the buzz when you move out of your comfort zone. Coaching enables people to see their potential and move towards it, without the negative voices or distractions holding you back. The closer you are to moving out of your comfort zone, the louder the voice of doubt and fear becomes. So having a coach is invaluable at helping you to create the life you really want before any self sabotaging behaviours appear.
  6. Feeling scared. Change is scary and it can prevent us from taking action which would lead us to our happiest self.
  7. Feeling happy. Coaching isn't only for people who relate to any of the above instances. When you are feeling great, this is an excellent time to hire a coach to get you feeling even greater. We are never fixed or sorted. We always have more growing and developing to do. We have so much potential which we can unlock further.

Powerful Mantra for Money

Money, like everything else, is energy. Understanding this puts you ahead of the game. The most powerful energy you set into motion beings with I Am statements. Consider how often during the day you make I Am commands! Yes, they are commands. You are knowing yourself to Be that which you are stating. This is the power of creation working in, through, and in you to bring into manifestation that which you proclaim to be absolute TRUTH!

Take a few moments right now to think over how many times you command poverty, struggle, hardships and woe. How often during each day do you refer to yourself in terms that command Source or GOD, to bring you exactly what you say you don't want?

The key is to gain understanding of how you create. When you know yourself to BE a state, like poverty or sickness, health or prosperous, that very thing appears for you to experience. If you would change your life from one state of Being to another, commit to taking fifteen minutes, three times a day to sit quietly with your eyes closed. Use your breathing to relax and enter into a place of silence and stillness. While in this state imagine yourself living the life you dream of. Be there in that imagined place. If you desire is wealth, surround yourself in your imagination with all the things that represent wealth to you. Perhaps it's a beautiful home, or travel. Live in that state of being for at least fifteen minutes.

If your desire is health or love, follow the same pattern. Imagine yourself in that actual life. Fill that space with all that you would do if you were living it now. Using your imagination to the point of feeling it real or feeling it true, brings about a shift in energy, calling that very thing into form. You've been doing it your whole life, but you've used it to create what you worry about or fear.

By following the simply process I've outlined here, you will begin seeing results at once. In the beginning you will notice how different you feel. You are happier, more secure, more hopeful. As you continue to practice these steps you will begin to notice things falling into place much easier and faster.

Stay the course. You CAN have everything you desire. You already have the power. Stay aware of what you are I Am ing into reality! Proclaim only that which you truly desire to experience.

Whose Champion Are You?

When you think of being a champion, what comes to mind? Do you think of winning a competition or earning a title? Do you imagine being awarded a trophy or title and receiving the accolades of an adoring crowd? Let's add two more words and see how the image of champion changes. When you think of being a champion for someone, what comes to mind? Where does the focus go? Who notices? What is the "win"?

At a recent workshop with educators, the focus of our discussions turned to the need of every child to have a champion who believes in them and provides the supports they need until they can believe in themselves. Many kids and teens have been so hurt by their experiences in the world that they react with anger and resist the efforts of those who try to help them. These young people seem to be determined to recreate the abandonment, rejection, and disillusionment that have been their experience in the world. Teachers spoke of their emotional stress as they try to create meaningful connections with these hurting youths and continually experience defiance, hostile resistance, and even volatile eruptions.

Consider the unspoken message in the response of one young man to his teacher when she tried to reach through his anger to let him know how much she cared: "Why should I? You're just going to leave like all the others." His experience was that no one stayed. Teachers didn't stay. His parents were in jail. He had no one but his elderly grandma. When he pushed back against his teacher's attempts to connect with him, he was trying to recreate what he had previously experienced. He needed someone to see him beyond his anger, through the bristling protective shield he had erected, to the young man reacting from a place of emotional pain and needing to be loved, crying out for someone to believe in him no matter what. He needed her to be his champion - to believe in him and to love him unconditionally until he could begin to love and believe in himself.

Who do you know that needs a champion? Who has a gruff, keep-everyone-away layer on the outside that hides the tender being inside? Who reacts and acts out because their life experiences have hurt them so much? Who needs someone to see beneath the layers of hurt and fear to who they really are? There are those who use words to cry out for help; there are even more whose actions and ways of being in the world express their need to be loved and for someone to truly see and believe in them. From a surface view, their actions and ways of being push people away, but look closer to find the beautiful being hidden beneath layers of self-protective anger and hostility. Bristles on the outside speak of broken trust and lack of hope on the inside. Anger and attack speak of inner hurt and disillusionment. Beneath whose protective layers can you see?

There are also those who don't speak or act out to express their need for a champion. They suffer in quiet isolation. Don't assume that because someone is alone that solitude is their desired state of being or that because someone doesn't express their need that it doesn't exist. Everyone needs someone to care, to truly see them and believe in them until they can love and believe in themselves.

Who do you know that needs a champion? Whose inner being do you sense in spite of external appearances? How might you show that you recognize the hidden cry for recognition and affirmation? How might you show that you see and care, in spite of what appears to push away, attack, or be self-sufficient? Whose cry to be seen and loved do you see or hear?

Think back to the young man's words: "Why should I? You're just going to leave like all the others." His teacher tried to show she cared, and he reacted - not the way she hoped, but in a way that expressed his inner hurt. Can she recognize the underlying message and not give up? He will try to push away and recreate what he has experienced. Why should he trust? Why should he believe? But, if she holds onto her inner knowing about him and shows up every day to be his champion, in time, he will begin to let the protective walls down and let her in. In time, her belief in him will translate to his own ability to believe in himself. It won't happen overnight just as his hurt wasn't a one-time occurrence. He needs her to truly see him through the anger and hostility and to keep seeing him through the defences he has erected in self-protection. He needs her to be his champion until he can be his own.

If these words are resonating within you, you already know or sense someone who needs a champion. Will you be like so many others who have responded to what is visible on the outside and backed away, or will you be the one who can see through the outer expressions that seem to say "stay away" to the precious being who is crying out to truly be seen? Trust your inner knowing and be someone's champion. Who will notice? The one who truly matters - the one whom you see. What is the "win"? Something beyond measure by the standards of the outer world - the opening and blossoming of one who has been hiding behind walls of hurt.

Wisdom of the Tao - How to Live An Unhurried Life

The Tao Te Ching is an ancient Chinese text on the nature of existence. According to legend Lao-tzu wrote this book of wisdom. It has been translated more than any other volume, except for the Bible.

The 15th verse of the Tao counsels us: "But the muddiest water clears as it is stilled."

Lao-tzu uses images to describe an alert yet unhurried state of being:

* Crossing an icy stream, watchful yet alert to danger
* Appreciating the unlimited potential of uncarved wood
* Willing to be still and wait for muddy water to clear

Imagine your life as you'd like it to be and then let go. Trust in the wisdom of the Tao. Your life will unfold in its own time when you aren't trying to push the river.

Let the wisdom of the Tao work for you and with you.

Your focus on getting more - wealth, status, power -- leads to a discontented life. It blinds you to your relationship with the Tao. Rather than seeking more, the practice of appreciation promotes a contented life. Recognize your desires. Trust that you will receive whatever guidance is necessary for your life. Stop pushing yourself. By appreciating what you have, you live with contentment.

Let go of your need for more and live without striving.

Practice living in the Now in both mind and body. When you let go of wondering about what comes next, you can live in a state of appreciation. Release your goals for the future and replace them with the power of each moment. Relax your efforts about always doing the right thing and being in the right place. Immerse yourself in each present moment. By living in the moment, you slow down your incessant striving for more.

Allow your unique self to shine through and live in simplicity.

How do you look at yourself? How do you view power and success? Reflect on these questions. Ask yourself whether your views are in harmony with the Tao's wisdom to live simply. The Tao "does nothing" and "leaves nothing undone." The Tao frees you from the burden to be productive and successful in the eyes of others. By releasing the judgments of others, you enjoy a simpler way of living.

The ability to stay calm lies within. The Tao advises you to stay serene no matter what swirls around you. Blame and faultfinding are endemic in the world. Take responsibility for your feelings and your actions. You have a choice in each moment. You can choose how to respond to each life event. You can maintain a peaceful center and live an unhurried life.

Summary

You have a choice in each moment. You can choose how to respond to each life event. You can maintain a peaceful center and live an unhurried life.

Why One Is Not The Loneliest Number

There is a famous Three Dog Night song entitled "One is the Loneliest Number". However is this really true? In our fast paced, complicated lives, we are encouraged to "Just Do It" and make it all happen. We are enticed with emails about fabulous vacations, delicious restaurants, and online classes, etc. We watch reality TV and other shows that make us want to do more and achieve everything on our bucket list - yesterday.

The reality is that for us to achieve true wellness, we must stop and have quiet time. We must have time to reflect, ponder, and dream. The most creative people set aside time to do this. They envision things and play them out in their minds. They brainstorm in their heads and just imagine. When was the last time you "allowed" yourself to do this? If you did this recently, did you feel guilty, that you should have been "doing" something instead?

According to Dictionary.com, the word "solitude" means the state of being or living alone, seclusion. It sounds so negative to me. All I think of are movies when the prisoner is put in solitary confinement. So to put a positive spin on this, I realized that if I want to have some quiet time, I need to create a place where there are no disruptions and is peaceful. It needs to be in a room that has calming colors (like pastels for me) and is free of gadgets including TVs and other devices. Plants and soothing pictures of birds and butterflies are in this room.

In addition, I schedule this time because like many, my calendar is very full. Besides running two businesses and being the mother of three teenagers, there is not a lot of free space on my calendar. By scheduling some quiet time and putting a Do Not Disturb sign on my door, everyone knows to leave me alone (except my cats).

I may have a cup of tea with me but otherwise there is nothing for me to center my thoughts on. I close my eyes and try to let my imagine run wild. This is not necessarily meditation time where I am focused on my breathing, but more letting me just think about anything I want to with no constraints. Sometimes it is about new presentations I want to create, a blog idea, or just what new recipe I want to have for dinner. Other times I imagine myself in a foreign land and meeting amazing people. Regardless of what I am thinking, I do not judge or critique my thoughts and I do not think about what others would think. Some thoughts and dreams are pretty crazy.

I try to stay in the room for at least 20 minutes. I am known for setting a timer outside my door to let me know when time is up versus looking at a clock or my cell phone. Usually I feel refreshed but I admit there are times when I am frustrated. I feel this way either because I wish I could have more alone time (I feel like waking up from a dream too early) or I feel that there is now way too much to do because I came up with more ideas of things I want to accomplish. Argh! Luckily this frustrating feeling doesn't happen often and when it does, it is usually for a short period of time.

If you are the type that can't sit still, try this for 5 or 10 minutes. Also allow some time afterwards to write down some thoughts or ideas that you may have come up with or things that you want to discuss with others. Regardless of how you do this, remember that our brain like our body needs down time and this is a wonderful way to do it.
