The Law Of Attraction - Is This The Whole Story?

You may well have heard of the Law of Attraction, a concept that infers that like attracts like. But what does this mean? For me, it means that if you wholeheartedly want something (and you do something about manifesting it) chances are that you'll get it.

But does the concept really work?

As a Life Coach I am hot on forward thinking and working towards what I call 'ideals'. An ideal is simply something positive that you want to see happen - it's a vision, a mission, a purpose, a goal.

A number of years ago I compiled one sheet of paper that contained my overall life purpose, my vision, my goals and a list of projects stemming from those goals. Everything I wrote down came from deep within me, and had been an integral part of me for years.

I have been looking at that sheet of paper almost daily since compiling it without thinking too much about how the things on the sheet were going to manifest.

The reason why I refer to the sheet so often is simply because it makes me feel good. It directs me and stirs me in a positive way. In short, it represents everything I want to manifest in my life.

More recently I attended a meeting with some colleagues and we talked about developing an enterprise. As the discussions went on I realized that much of what we were talking about resembled what was on my sheet.

On returning home I looked at the sheet and laughed. Practically everything I'd written down was covered in the meeting. This happened not because I was pushing my own agenda. It happened naturally because we were all of the same mindset with similar aspirations and wanting to achieve similar life and business goals... like attracting like.

I've now realized that everything I've aspired to may come to fruition by default if our enterprise is successful.

So does this concept of attraction really work? Yes I think so!

Now you could say that nothing I've put out there has yet come to fruition. This is true. However, the meeting showed me that things are already beginning to shift.

If I hadn't produced this sheet I doubt whether the conversation in that meeting would have gone the same way. I may well have been more easily led by the others around the table, because I would have had no real perspective of my own.

By clearly articulating my purpose, vision, goals and projects, and referring to them on a daily basis, my subconscious mind is already recognizing opportunities that will help to make these a reality. That meeting (and the subsequent enterprise idea) is one of those opportunities.

I do believe, however, that there are certain caveats to the concept:

Windows of Opportunity

Once you've clearly and specifically established where you want to go, windows of opportunity begin to open for you. It is for you to grab those opportunities and immediately take the action necessary to achieve your goals. Otherwise, those windows eventually close and the opportunity is lost.

Letting Go

I also believe an important element is that you let go of the outcome. Be OK with achieving your goals and aspirations, and with not achieving them. This is because, in my view, becoming desperate about your achievements pushes them away. Becoming more relaxed about them increases the chances of you achieving them. For me it's also about recognizing that your aspirations may not always manifest in the way you envision them - and being OK with this.

Giving It Time

I also think it's important to give yourself the time you need to manifest your ideal. Specific timeframes focus and galvanise you into action. However if those timeframes are unrealistic they could have the opposite effect. You may feel that if you've not reached your goal within the timeframe you've set yourself that you've somehow failed.

Allowing yourself the time to mature with your vision and grow to become the kind of person who can make it happen may well increase the chances of you succeeding.

So yes I believe the law of attraction works if:

· You're clear and specific about precisely what you want

· You focus daily on what you want

· You take full advantage of the opportunities that show up and do the work that's necessary

· You let go of the desperation and...

· You give it time

Feeling Frustrated - God Has the Right Timing for Everything

Ever wondered why your dream goals are not manifesting? Be patient. God has all the answers. For more insights, read on.

You may have waited for too long with hope in your heart. But you didn't see your dreams materialize. You needn't change your dream goals. You can meet all of them but you need a shift in mind or attitude or you may think about a detour in the direction towards your goals.

Still feeling frustrated? Affirm all your dream goals and let go of them. In reality I have seen the dreams I let go of and forget, get manifested quickly. While the dreams I cling to and get attached hardly get manifested. So, after you have written down your goals and intention and addressed to the Universe, it is very vital that you let go off gracefully and do not think or worry about them at all. Because the longer you attach to them, the longer and harder it becomes for the dream(s) to materialize.

Another important tip I will pour over here is work on one important goal at a time. After it gets realized, take another goal and work on it. And the process goes on smoothly and effectively.

Still another tip I could dispense here is that even if you are detached from your dreams, you may realize, they are taking too long to manifest. This is because God has the right timing for each of your dreams to manifest and keep your faith. Do not let self-doubt creep in at all as it will hamper the manifestation process.

Your emotions also play an important role in the realization of your dreams. Happy and joyous as well as cheery mood always help to give you what you desire fast by the universe because you become the right vibration match for it and it is able to land on you your most desired goal.

On the other hand, bad energies such as anger, sorrow, worry and doubt will cripple the vibration around you and the Universe finds it difficult to reach you your goal. So remember to be happy and full of fun after you have affirmed your dream goals.

Summing up, yes those are all the reasons why your dreams haven't manifested yet. Abide by the tips in this article and you are sure to have all your burning desires land on your being. Gotcha?

Becoming An Empowering Individual Now To Live The Life You Imagine (By James Nussbaumer)

There were very few tools available to me for finding inner power when I started learning to empower my career as an author.

For those who know my story, yes, I had to become an empowering individual from inside a prison where I 'd spent 8 long hellish years.

I had to do a lot of visualization meditation on my own, and when I was released from that hell on earth, and WOW did tools ever become available to me for things like finding inner peace and for manifesting my dreams.

Fast forward NOW and technology has become much more affordable and available.

Nowadays as an empowering individual, you can use tools to make your life easier, and you just have to pick the right ones.

Imagine being able to manifest your dream life. I mean without hard work or struggle.

Whether your wish is for more wealth, success, happiness, better relationships, good health.

I particularly like how the Power of Manifestation on autopilot will manifest happiness, prosperity and abundance.

You can do the opposite by using empowering affirmations that will shift forward your inner power to take action.

It's impossible to empower yourself and to attract abundance, happiness and wealth if you're focused on putting yourself down.

Here are some examples to try during your visualization meditation sessions:

Empowering affirmations that span across time: Think about what's already happened, what's happening now, and what's yet to come.

Put it all together like this:

-" BEFORE, I was in the dark and really broke, in the dumps and miserable and hated the world.

Use visualization meditation affirmations that are crystal clear and saying something like:

-" I am loved" or "I am powerful and blessed" is a good start, but they're a bit vague.

Previously I discussed tapping in to your real inner power now to bring forth prosperity and abundance and to live the life you imagine.

As for being blessed and powerful, you can say:

-" I'm blessed with infinite and powerful resources and opportunities, and my life is abundant and full."

Be sure you use affirmations with an attitude to empower, and another way to supercharge your subconscious is by being a little cheeky with your statements.

Adding some light hearted humor amplifies your signal and makes it easier for the Power of the Universe to hear your thoughts.

When you improve the quality of your thoughts and perceptions, to empower is as if your circumstances will rearrange itself on their own.

These changes to empower yourself will seem to happen without doing much on your part. The truth is that you're already doing the heavy lifting by disciplining your mind.

Empowering affirmations are those that use time as your partner.

The Course in Miracles teaches that, "The universe uses time on our behalf."

Think about what's already happened, what's happening now, and the life you are yet to lead as an empowering individual.

Starting today, you can apply these visualization meditation tips I've just shared with you to shift forward in your mind and reflect your inner creations to your material world.

The more you practice them, the bigger the shift will result from your efforts. I hope you make use of this knowledge to empower yourself so you can indeed get the life you want.

That said, begin to consider the ways to empower and start bringing results home.

(Please note I suggest searching the net fo further material on personal transformation uncovered now to release a scarcity mindset and live the life you imagine.)

To success at living the life you imagine!

5 Tips to Take Control of Your Mind and World Using Affirmations

You are a powerful creator. We all are. Every day with the thousands and thousands of thoughts that run through your head, you are creating your reality. If you are not happy with any aspect of your life, you have the power to change it. That's right, you, and only you, have the power. So, why hasn't anybody ever told you this before? It certainly wasn't because they were keeping a secret from you. Most likely, it was because they didn't know.

Don't think that you are capable of manifesting anything?

Think about all the different thoughts you let roam freely in your mind. Those thoughts can range from "do they like me?" "Do the kids have any activities after school today?" "Oh no, I hope my co-workers don't ask me to go to lunch" or "why don't my co-workers ever ask me to lunch?" "I don't know why you got promoted, I deserved that promotion." Just think about what a busy place your mind is. Only you know the thoughts you have and never share with anyone. Most of those thoughts are ego based, I don't mean ego in a negative way. You are the center of your world so of course, everything revolves around you. If you are unhappy with any part of the world your chaotic thoughts have created why not simply create something better? So many people are unaware that their thoughts are creating the good and bad things in their lives, they simply let their world run on auto-pilot. Affirmations are just one way to bring clarity and positive things into your life.

Affirmations can help you to get clear on the things you would like to bring into your life. Once you start to focus on the positive, you will start to bring more positive into your life. Whatever you focus on, whatever you see, you will always draw more of that to you. For example, if you are constantly saying "I hate driving with idiots. Why is it that all the nuts are out when I'm driving." Guess what, that's an affirmation. Your mind doesn't hear sarcasm and so your wish is its command. Just like that you have created and successfully manifested for yourself just what your mind was focused on, driving with idiots.

Affirmations are positive statements about something you would like to bring into your life. You could easily affirm for yourself, "I am surrounded by courteous and competent drivers, at all times." I know which one I'd rather have.

It's easy for us all to focus on the negative. It's easy to run on auto-pilot. It's also easy for us to take control of our world, to see the positive in situations and then focus on that positive and draw more positive into your world.

The person who learns to control their thoughts can have and do whatever they can visualize for themselves; everything is there for you just waiting for you to create it and bring it into being.

Here are some tips to get you started with affirmations.

1. Always start your affirmation by focusing on the positive.

2. Your affirmation should only be about you. Why? Because we all have free will. You must never try to force or bend someone to your will. Respect other peoples choices (Yes, this can be challenging).

3. Whenever you say the words I AM, be aware of the next thing you say or think. I AM is one of the many names of God. When you say (or think) I AM you activate the God power within yourself and connect to universal energy. It doesn't matter what name you call God or if you even believe in God, it works just the same. Just like gravity, it works whether you believe in it, think about it, or not. Whenever you say I AM you start to create and bring what you have affirmed into your life.

4. Take control of your world and your mind by choosing your words and your thoughts carefully. Don't allow your mind to run on auto-pilot give it something positive to focus on.

5. Discover the power of silence, even in the midst of noise and activity. Just a few moments of silence with your eyes closed or open can relax your body and shift a busy mind into deeper peace. You may not always find the time to meditate, but you can still experience sitting in the silence at any time.

Even with your eyes wide open, you can mindfully rest in the presence of peace within. Focus on the easy rhythm of your breath and bring your awareness to the sacred space of your heart. By focusing on your breath and your heart you'll find you are only a thought away from inner peace. Allow yourself to drop into the silence and visit this holy sanctuary within your heart to find deep inner peace.

Try affirmations out for yourself become the powerful creator I know you are. Experiment with affirmations, gratitude and focusing on the positive and watch your life change for the better.

Change Your Life For The Better And Begin To Live Your Dreams (By James Nussbaumer)

Speaking of personal transformation and manifesting anything, here's a true story that may inspire you to take action on shifting to a better life:

Last week I got a telephone call from a long time golfing pal buddy whom I hadn't spoken to in a few years.

Like other people, I was excited to hear his voice.

He said he 'd heard about me making life changes and all about my new writing studio in the center of town, and he wanted to ask me about my new books being released and what's going on in my life.

To my surprise, he informed me that he was let go from his job recently and was going through making life changes himself.

You and I understand that there is no obvious factor when companies want to lay-off or let go of individuals.

From the tone and manner in which he was speaking, I could tell that he has actually ended up being stronger and more excited about the future and making life changes.

He's more open to opportunities and authenticity.

That's not all.

He informed me of further shocking news: his father died a few months prior to he being let go from the job. This, of course, had forced him into making life changes.

I thought to myself, "Oh my God, how is he handling all of this?"

How in the world could anybody ever take the pressure of dealing with the death of their parent and losing a job within a few months' time, and being under pressure to begin making life changes?

Exactly what would you do if these occurred to you? Give up on life? Or would you set your sails for how to live your dreams?

He informed me that he's got to be strong and he didn't want his own children being depressed over the matter.

I'm so happy for him that these unfortunate occurrences in fact made him take and think note about his life and re-prioritize his life, making life changes which he admitted that he 'd neglected in the past.

He turned the loss of a loved one and loss of a job into power and strength and a great personal transformation.

Since these occurrences, he decided and had the guts to be his own employer by joining his young nephew just out of college in a company venture. He feels that he has more control of his life and career, now, than ever before.

He explained to me that he now believes and visualizes that a great future is ahead, and acquires more complete satisfaction from life which he never felt before.

The Course in Miracles states, "In effect, then, what you believe you do see."

My good ole pal has personally transformed a great deal all the while being thrilled with making life changes.

Sometimes it takes a life shattering experience like, loss of family, divorce, loss of job, or other devastating circumstance.

How many of us imagine rising above our adversities rather than staying stuck, and being self-employed and being our own CEO, so to speak, and proceed to move forward.

For whatever fears many us have, often we never take action on doing what it takes to live your dreams.

The Course in Miracles asks us, "Would you join the crucifixion or the resurrection?"

Do you want what occurred to my longtime friend happen to you, so that you 'd actually sit down and consider positive change in your life? And literally begin doing the things that you truly like?

Or, do you wish to simply take charge and change your life for the better by taking action now?

The option is yours.

Do not wait until some sort of tragedy hits you hard to begin making life changes.

Organize your life proactively and change your life for the better. Take my pal's experience as an inspiration to live your dreams.

To living your dreams!

How The Law of Attraction Can Improve Your Life

In life, there are a lot of different things that can positively affect your life. You may not immediately think of certain things, but it's true. For instance, you're not going to find many people scoff at the notion of eating right and exercising. In fact, this is the premier thing that you can do for your body. It helps with weight loss, management, and can even stabilize mood. It's something that can absolutely pay off in a lot of different ways. The body can be mended and helped with exercise, but what about the mind? People may find that the mind is a difficult thing to really work on, especially when it comes to getting a handle of anxiety, and more. To elevate the mood, you may want to look at why and how the Law of Attraction can help.

The Problem With Negativity

The first thing that you are going to find to be true is that millions of people are negative. Just turn on a television and you will be hit with a lot of news and updates that are absolutely problematic. There's nothing good that can come from manifesting this into your life. Millions of people are dwelling on the wrong things, and they are starting to see themselves get sick as a result. If you don't cast aside the elements that are anything but positive, you will start to slowly weigh yourself down. When you're dwelling on things that are outside of your control, you will no longer have positivity in your life, and that can be problematic. The law focuses on removing these issues and building up your self-esteem, confidence and more.

An Outward Change

One of the premier things that the Law of Attraction does is it makes you a bit more jovial. When you go into work, when you talk to others, and when you are just living your life, you're going to exhibit a great deal of outward happiness. This beautiful update will allow you to become more popular, and people gravitate towards that. You'll be surprised by how much a smile can change the way that people see you. Imagine walking into your work smiling, laughing, and enjoying the day. That's the kind of positivity that is infectious, and it's part of the notion of attraction overall.

The Big Question

The biggest question that you will no doubt ask is simple, does this work for everyone? The short answer is absolutely, yes. However, it doesn't happen overnight. If you're going to make a lifestyle change, you need to work on it slowly so that you can see a great amount of momentum come your way. If you expect changes to occur permanently, over 24 hours, you will not get moving forward. However, if you take your time, and you work through the positive elements that are necessary, you will end up in a whole new world of positivity. Test this out a bit and see why so many are seeking out attraction instead of dwelling on the negative elements that can manifest in life.

Becoming Your Desires (By Kathy Wilson)

A while back I attended a workshop/retreat entitled "Let's Manifest". The information and exercises we were guided through were by far the most effective I've experienced of all the manifesting workshops and seminars I've experienced.

What made it different and more powerful was this one concept: Before you can manifest or create what you want to have in your life, you must become the person who already has it.

This is called "modeling" in some schools of life betterment. As you become that person who already has what you want, your vibration shifts to align with your desire. And, as The Law of Attraction demonstrates, those things of like frequency are magnetized to each other.

I'm here to tell you modeling is not always an easy accomplishment. Most of us don't have a clue about who already has what we want, let alone what that person is like. I'm in that group, and not the group of people who know who their model is and also knows all about them.

So after thinking about my model person until I gave myself a headache, I finally realized that my model didn't have to be a real person. That one fact made the project easier because most of the people I wanted to use as a model all had some trait or belief that I found was contrary to one of my own. This one detail then colored how I viewed all their other actions, beliefs, and values that I wanted to emulate... and usually not to the plus side.

That little obstacle handled, the next hurdle was to create my model so I'd have a guide. This was easier, since the method I came up with is something I'm very adept at - asking questions.

If you'd like to try this very powerful technique to manifest your ideal life - or any part of your ideal life - here are some of my questions that you, too, can use. They may spark new questions as you use them or you may wish to change them somehow. Well, you go right ahead. After all, this is about creating your desires, and this creation is unlimited. (This list is in the feminine so if your model is a male, of course you'll want to change the questions to reflect that.)

  • Who is this person that has what I want?
  • Is this person real or is she my creation?
  • What are her top five core life values?
  • How does she prioritize when she makes choices?
  • What kinds of groups does she belong to... or does she belong to no groups?
  • What are her friends like?
  • What gives her delight? Makes her cry? Drives her to anger?
  • How did she get what she wants?
  • When she had setbacks, what did she do?

As you continue to get to know or to create your model of the one who already has what you so desire, more questions will no doubt arise. The more details you have, the easier it will be for you to know what you need to do in order to become the person who already has what you want.

The Law of Attraction and Our Children - How Do We Explain the LOA to Our Kids? (By John MacLeod)

Recently I have been thinking about the Law of Attraction and children, and how learning about it could be so helpful to them in their growth. But then I wondered, how do we explain the Law of Attraction to our children? In what ways can we help them understand the way we attract things to our reality in a world where not everyone accepts this as being the truth?

Ever since I learned about the Law of Attraction, I have often thought of how my life may have taken a different path if I had known about the LOA, or better still, been taught as a child that I could create my own reality. What if I had known that my thoughts and feelings played a role in how my life was playing out? I feel very blessed for the life that I have, but what would I have done, what kind of manifesting would have been possible for me if I had learned this law right from the beginning of my life? How amazing and refreshing would it be to have a new generation of children who understand that they don't have to be at the mercy of their outside conditions, and that if they believe and more importantly, expect a certain result, it can come to fruition?!

Teaching our children about the Law of Attraction should actually be easier than teaching an adult. Kids don't have the emotional baggage that a lot of adults carry around, plus many of our limiting beliefs were formed when we were very young. Many times it is this baggage that causes many of us to have resistance either consciously or subconsciously to manifesting what we truly want in our lives. If we can explain the principles to children of how the LOA can work for them at an early age, I believe they will enjoy a much easier time harnessing its endless powers.

I know what you're thinking. How can I explain the Law of Attraction to my child? First off, we should help them understand that they can have the things they desire, but show them that there is a process to how this happens. Maybe tell them that not everyone knows about this power that they have. Helping them to understand their emotions and why they have the feelings they do is a great way to begin. They should understand that each emotion they have is the universe's way of giving them a message, and that it is OK for them to feel a certain way, be it sad, angry, happy, etc. Instead of getting them to avoid or suppress their emotional feedback, we need to help them embrace it. Once they understand that they can express their feelings and try to learn from the message they are giving them, the quicker they will be able to find a better feeling vibration. The key here is to not be judgmental of whatever they may be feeling. When they know it is OK to feel their emotion, they will be able to trust their own gut feelings to figure things out on their own going forward in life. They will understand that every feeling has a purpose.

Don't deter your children from dreaming as big as they choose!

Sometimes we as parents may feel that we don't want to give our children false hope or set them up for disappointment. However, we shouldn't let them feel limited in what they wish to create for themselves. As we know, the Law of Attraction doesn't know any limitations to what can be manifested. As long as we help them understand that there are many ways for the universe to help them realize their dreams they will develop the confidence and faith that they can create anything they desire.

Personally, I came from an environment with many limiting beliefs. Like many of their generation, my parents had a scarcity mindset from what they experienced growing up. This had likely come from their parents who had experienced tough times during the depression. I sometimes have to catch myself with how I respond to my children when it comes to this topic. It can be a challenge getting the message across to them that there really are no limits to what they can manifest if we have any attitudes that represent a contradicting or limiting point of view. This could confuse the child as to what they should truly believe. I have been trying to be very careful how I choose my words these days as my children aged 1 ½ and 4 are very impressionable and absorb everything we say like sponges.

What if the Law of Attraction was taught in the school curriculum?

I recall Bob Proctor saying one time that the Law of Attraction should be taught in the schools. What a good point, I thought. Children are taught about certain important dates in our history, but nothing about how they can shape their existence using the LOA. I believe that we are getting closer to a day where using and understanding the LOA will be common thing for the masses. Every time I think of this possibility, I have a renewed hope of a huge shift of the consciousness of the world. Once this shift occurs, you will start to see how humans are naturally supposed to live. People will want to find peaceful solutions to their problems. Wars will become a thing of the past; the fears of accepting and integrating different cultures within our borders will disappear. People will see their similarities and how deep down we are all the same, instead of judging and focusing on our differences.

When I look at the world right now, I see a great divide in attitudes when it comes to acceptance of our differences, especially in the U.S. and the U.K. It seems that many are frustrated with their situations in life and think that by going back to "the way things used to be" it will somehow fix these problems; some have a real issue with our changing world. It seems that there is a group that wants to progress and embrace change in a positive fashion, and another who wishes to repeat the mistakes of the past. This simply will not work! The universe is meant to be constantly changing and evolving, in constant flux. This time in our history may come to be known as one of the most important in the entire history of mankind. We need our youth to be influential in a more positive, inclusive manner so that the world can move forward.

I often think about Dr. Wayne Dyer's story of how his daughter was upset with him for something and how he explained to her that she was the one who manifested herself into the physical form to be here on earth, and it was her who chose him to be her father. He had mentioned how she was so surprised to hear this and that she said something to the effect of "I chose you?" I always found that to be a very telling and amusing synopsis of how all of our existence here on earth has come to be. I have told my 4 year old this same story and his response was very similar. He said, "Really? How did I do that?"

When our children understand that their very purpose of being here on earth is to be creators and that they have the power to create their own existence here on earth, what other possibilities are in store for them? I truly believe that we have much to learn from our children, especially their imagination and sense of wonder. I think back to the statement that I have often heard about "seeing the world through the eyes of a child." Maybe if more adults viewed the world this way, we wouldn't get in our own way as we so often times do. A child's natural instinct is to love; hate is something that is learned. Anything that is learned can be unlearned. If we truly want to change the future of humanity for the better, we need our children to be the driving force of that change. Teaching the next generation of children of the great power they possess in their hands using the Law of Attraction is a huge step in the right direction to accomplishing the unity that the world so desperately needs. I feel that we are on the precipice of a monumental shift of consciousness, and we all have our role to play, one positive vibration at a time.

Visualization - What to Do When You Have Done All You Can

Manifesting your burning desires using techniques you know is somehow not working at all. You are feeling very frustrated. What do you do then? Read on to find out.

You have tried meditation, believing in the Universe, remaining happy after setting your intentions and what not! Now none of that works for you. You are at your wits' end, still figuring out what to do. Fear not because I have a bright solution for you in this regard. Just trust me.

In that case, I would suggest "Visualization" boldly. You need to know what you want badly. Then close your eyes and visualize yourself having it in your hands. Put all five senses - sight, touch, hearing, taste and odors into use. Visualize the picture as detailed as you can - where you are, what it feels to touch the thing you desire, what sounds you hear, what food and drink, if any, you are having and what odors of your surroundings you are experiencing. Make it as real as you can.

Try this visualization exercise as often as you can. Also try to visualize it fully while lying on bed before retiring to sleep at night.

If you execute this visualization exercise as much as you can, you are bound to get results shortly. Have faith in the process and do not question it but believe in your vision with all your heart and soul.

The Universe will grant to you whatever you desired promptly. Sometimes it works within as little as three days or even less and sometimes several weeks. But the process will work definitely after you have developed full faith in the process.

Why is visualization so effective? Because it implants an ingrained image of your vision in your mind and the subconscious part together with the conscious part of your mind work to give you results - in fact, positive results for that matter.

The process of visualization gets better and better as you continue to practice it. It doesn't require much work but you just have to let your vivid imagination flow and run. And then everything falls into place. Yes, you will be able to visualize properly and eventually manifest your burning desires fast and speedy.

So when nothing else works, try visualization as I have explained. You will be over the moon with the output - I guarantee it. In order to enhance your visualization process, you can have two copies of your vision board where you stick images of your desired elements by cutting out images from magazines or printing out images from the web. Keep one in your office and one at home where you can view them comfortably and then comes the best part: Be prepared to receive astonishing results!

How Thinking and Believing Will Cause Doing and Receiving

How do you end up with the COSMOS delivering something to you that you focused on? It's pretty easy and doesn't need much work. Read on to find out.

The COSMOS aligns its vibrational energy with what you think about constantly. Then you start to believe in your thoughts and in yourself. The COSMOS picks up those energies and materializes them for you within weeks and they become real and receivable. In most cases you need an extra criterion in the process: ACTION. You need to act upon your beliefs and thoughts. That way COSMOS is able to deliver you the most desired element easily.

So let's sort out the whole process in a lucid manner:

1) Thoughts: You have made up your mind that you want something. You have a burning desire for it. You become what you think about. But you also need the next steps.

2) Beliefs: Before your thoughts can materialize, you need to believe in yourself. Never doubt the process or question about why your desire is getting delayed in manifesting. Stay calm after letting the Universe know what it is you would like to have.

3) Action: The next step would be to act upon your beliefs. Talk with a mentor or a friend or take the help of a book or tutorial. Therefore, take the necessary action(s).

4) Receiving: This is the best part. You have executed the first three steps and become detached from what you really wanted. The most wanted element will take form in reality eventually. Give it time depending on how small or big it is. You have all the privileges to let the COSMOS hand it over to you.

This is how merely thinking and deciding what you want badly enough ends up with the COSMOS delivering it to you. The whole process is a four-step plan and if you execute it right, it never fails you. So the next time you want something badly enough, try out the 4-steps and you will be the winner of the very element you longed for with a burning desire.

Following the 4-step process may not work the first time round but with practice, you get better and better at it. Once you have mastered it, the process becomes simply a piece of cake for you. Others would like to know your secrets. Share with them. Because you have nothing to lose in passing on the knowledge and it works even better when you pass it over and share.

Taking The First Step Towards Manifesting What You Want In Life

We all know someone who seems to always get the best result from any situation. Someone who is able to manifest everything they could ever need or want in life, seemingly magically. How is it that these people are able to manifest a full and happy life, yet you seem to be challenged in doing so?

You may think that person is just lucky, and you might even get a little bit jealous. The truth is, they're not lucky. They just understand the concept of attraction and manifestation. And it's time you learned it too.

Attracting wealth, prosperity and all the good things in life requires education. No, I'm not talking about sitting in the classroom. I'm talking about studying the Law of Attraction and practicing the act of manifestation. It may sound strange, but it's something you can learn quite easily. You just need to apply it on a consistent basis in order to get good at it, as is true with any skill.

Some people seem to be naturally good at attracting abundance. But, that doesn't mean you can't learn to be good at it too. One important factor, is believing that you deserve the thing you want so strongly, it becomes a part of your very being. It has nothing to do with luck. It's about putting yourself in alignment with what you want.

In order to start out on the road to attracting everything you want in life, you must first understand the basics of the Law of Attraction.

Understanding how this law works is vitally important. Everything begins in thought, which is the first step in manifestation. Those thoughts then affect the what people and things come into our lives, and also determine the actions we take. It is these things combined that are the core of the manifestation process.

The Universe loves specifics. You must focus on the specific thing you want. Don't just say "I want more money". Focus on the exact amount you want.

The Universe also loves speed, so make sure you are ready to take immediate action when the inspiration hits you. Being inspired to take action, then doing nothing, is unnatural, and will cause you to repel the very thing you are wanting to attract.

A quick note about manifesting money. Never, ever say that you can't afford something. In fact, take the word "can't" completely out of your vocabulary. When you say "can't", your mind shuts off from all ideas and inspiration, and you will never manifest what you want.

Manifesting the things you want and need in life is not difficult. You simply need to educate yourself, learn the basics of the Law of Attraction, and take consistent action toward what you want. Soon, you'll find manifestation to be as easy as breathing.

The Law of Attraction - Why Can't I See It?

In the beginning I just went with it, and did all the affirmations, and intention setting stuff. I wrote my 'wish lists' and 'bucket lists' by the hundreds, and had all my yellow 'post-it' stickers around the house telling me I was 'Beautiful', or 'Rich' or 'Prosperous'. In fact, according to all the stickers, if you put them all together, I was probably the most perfect human being on the planet!

But even with all of this, and all the visualising and meditating, I felt like I'd spent years without really "GETTING IT"!

Oh, I'd find the perfect car park when I wanted it, or a situation would unfold 'just as I'd imagined it'. But I still didn't think I'd totally got it!

I went back, and started reviewing this whole 'Law of Attraction' thing, and realized I'd never really appreciated the most important step. The last one. Step 3.

You have to be clear on what you want (check); You have to 'put it out there' (check) and you have to give it up to God/The Universe/The Divine/The Almighty/ {put your understanding here} and wait for it to happen (UNCHECKED!!).

I was great at doing the first two, but then got impatient waiting for the last one. I'd give up and doubt the process. I'd get impatient and decide it wasn't happening. This is the part I was most active in, and this is what was sabotaging my first two steps!

On a scale of 1 to 10, how much did I do the first two steps? Always and absolute 10!

On a scale of -1 to -10, how much did I do the last step? Always a -10!

Add the two sums together and the answer was a massive big, fat 0! The realization hit me like a sledge-hammer. I was cancelling out any positive 'vibes' working towards manifesting my intentions with the doubts and impatience in my third step! I realised I was constantly looking for 'proof' that the Law of Attraction was working, and in doing so, this sent out the message that I doubted it worked, which is what I consistently got back in return.

So now I do steps one and two, and then spend most of my time sitting back and enjoying step three. I've shifted my mindset to accepting that "when the time is right" I will get what I've intended (or better), in the same way that night follows day, which follows night.

Detaching from the outcome - That's the missing link!

Is Life Really This Hard Or Am I Making It This Difficult?

Every day it seems like there are more problems, fewer solutions, less money and more stress. Keeping a positive attitude is not easy when you are on the "lack" side of things. Pessimists always get a bad rap. Is that because what they say is too hard to hear? There is a fine line between the reality of "what is" and a pessimist giving an opinion. An optimist may make you feel better for the moment, however, after that moment passes, you have to deal with the present.

I do believe "manifesting" is viable. It is definitely easier to practice virtually any positive activity while things are going your way. It is easier to give money when you have plenty of it. It is easier to give advice after you are successful. It is easier to talk about weight control after you have accomplished great weight loss. My applause are saved for the brave few that venture out to share when they have not yet aspired to their greatest height. The risk they take is criticism for speaking without a podium and self doubt.

One of the biggest problems I frequently see is the fear that is created by worrying in advance of a situation. All of the "what if scenario's" rolled into a big ball. The more they spin around the fear, the bigger the fear ball becomes. It is physically impossible to cross a bridge until you get to the bridge, yet hours are spent in anguish, worrying about a future event, demanding every possible variable and combination of variables be mentally played out, fretting every possible outcome, before there is a problem. Since that is 100% impossible, all the time and energy given to this endeavor is truly wasted.

For the sake of your health, both mental and physical, stop everything fear based. No decision can be made while you are surrounded by fear. Without the ability to make a decision, no action can be taken. Without any action, you are frozen in time, rendered immobile How long can you stay this way? Some people spend their entire life living in this constant state of fear rather than coming to terms with it. No matter what actually happens, nothing is ever as bad as imagined.

To overcome FEAR, do the following 3 things:

1. Make a list of your biggest fears, cross off all but the 3 things you fear most.

2. What is THE WORST thing that could happen to you if ANY of these 3 fears came true?

3. What is the BEST thing that could happen if NONE of these fears come about?

Now ask yourself, What do you really have to lose? Is it worth taking a chance of failure to achieve success?

How to Bite the Juicy Lemon of Life

Imagine this. A bright, yellow lemon. Under a flowing stream of water. Cool. Gleaming. You wash it off. Wrap it in a soft towel. Glistening droplets fall to the floor.

You set it on a cutting board. Next to a glass of ice.

Then you cut the lemon. See the juice pour out. Cut again. Milky yellow drops slip to the board.

You create perfect slices. Pick one up and squeeze it over the ice. Add some water. A little sugar.

Then on a whim. You take the next slice, plump with lemon juice...

And put it in your mouth.

Then you bite down. Feel the juice squirt into your mouth. So tart. Sour. Fresh. So so so so lemony tart. Wow. This is a really strong lemon. Stronger than you were expecting.

Your mouth waters. Soooo tart. Your jaw line spasms. Your face contorts. One eye closes. Your throat constricts. Holy cow. This is one sour lemon.

So...

Is your mouth watering right now?

Why? There is no actual lemon. There is no glass of ice. You have not bitten into anything at all.

Yet you can still feel the juicy, tart reflex in your mouth.

Now ask yourself. What else am I imagining in my life? And how is that manifesting in a physical reaction?

The power of the mind.

We can taste the lemon. We can feel the sour. We can imagine our worst fears. We can rehash the latest argument. We can stew about the most recent injustice.

And it is so real. It causes so much pain. It inflicts so much damage.

Back to the lemon. In its tart juiciness. It caused quite a stir. And we can easily see how the action was imagined.

What might you imagine? How might you replace the fears, anger and angst? How might you create a new picture? A new soft breeze cooling your face under the hot sun?

Our mind is beautiful. It can free us from the dank and dark corners. Or it can guide us to bone crushing, gut wrenching sorrow and fear. So much of the time, the darkness in our life is self-generated. Like the lemon. And even when the chaos is real. Even when tangible things happen to derail, hurt or confuse us... we can still find a way to manifest joy. Or at least manifest a reprieve from pain.

You have the ability to connect to something familiar. The simplest memory. The sweetest taste. The most encompassing hug. The softest pillow. The funniest joke. The rockingest song. The deepest breath. The bluest blue. The warmest touch. The coolest pool. The most infectious laugh.

So many options to pull us from a state of... whatever. To pull us toward the juiciness of a lemon.

So whenever the pull of mire threatens to disrupt your life. Whenever your mind wanders to worry. Whenever your "what if" becomes a laundry list of potential disaster.

Stop. Get out the cutting board. Pick a lemon.

And take a big, juicy, tart, life fulfilling, oh-so-sour bite.

Add a little sugar. And let the lemonade wash away the worry. Reward yourself with a peaceful breath. And a new starting point.

Where you are free to imagine whatever will help you most.

Life can be so sweet. Take a big bite.

Control Manifesting By Controlling Your Feelings: Using the Law of Attraction

We use the law of attraction to achieve our dreams. This law states that we attract into our life whatever corresponds with our vibrations. Our vibrations are set by our feelings. Therefore, you will control your manifesting, by controlling your feelings.

Perhaps the most important lesson we have learned over these years since 2006 when we began this study, is that your emotions are your prayer, your power, and your lifeline. Keep them positive. Emotions are energy generated by feelings. We have a feeling of love or satisfaction and we generate emotions. We have a feeling of sadness or loss or envy, and we generate emotions. Emotions are "energy in motion" as defined by Anthony Robbins. They are neither good nor bad, but they are set by our feelings. This energy impacts, for better or worse, the divine matrix surrounding us. It is in the divine matrix that we manifest. To manifest good, or abundance, we must generate positive energy, or positive emotions. We control our manifesting by controlling our feelings.

Philosophers, self-help gurus, and coaches have been explaining the power of positive thinking since the early 1900's, particularly as it impacts our health and our "luck" or success. More recently psychologists have discovered that this is because our thinking generates feelings, which bring about behavior. In between feelings and behavior is the divine matrix which changes reality.

To explain let's look at an example. Let's say, you have the intention of increasing your income. You believe that you can increase your income. This excitement and enthusiasm generates a raised vibrational intensity and increases your emotional energy. This affects the divine matrix surrounding you, which begins to change reality. As you tune in to intuitive nudges, changing your behavior, you will find yourself on the road to a higher income. The original idea/belief, brings about feelings which then bring about behavior change.

The inspired behavior is not always directly related to "making more money." You might be inspired to spend time in places that make you feel great such as the ocean or the mountains, or any beautiful spot. This will help by increasing your vibrational rate, which improves your mood. Control your manifesting by controlling your mood. Little by little, the good mood, and increased vibrations, increases your emotional energy which impacts on the divine matrix, creating miracles that improve your life.

So that's all there is to it. Keep your feelings happy, and your thoughts positive, and your position will improve. Even if you seem to be having a setback, that setback might be necessary to set you in a different direction for your long-term goal. Trust yourself as it was always you that created today. It was you that moved you to where you are today. It will be you that manifests your next place/goal. It will be your good feelings that manifest your next success.

Manifesting 101: What You Need To Do First!

Woman Wearing Blue Bathroom Robe Near Red Wall
Is there any area of your life in which you feel like you're in a rut? You find yourself thinking, doing, and saying the same things over and over and - predictably - you're getting the same old, frustrating, unsatisfying results? You've probably heard it said that the definition of insanity is doing the same things and expecting different results. Yet, it's surprising how often we do this.

So, perhaps, you decide you really do want something different. You decide you are going to manifest better health, a better relationship, or more money to do the things you really want to do in your life. Do you have a clear picture of what it is that you want?

What is it exactly? How will you know when you have that? What will it feel like? Specifically, how will your life be different?

Now, those may seem like obvious questions, but in reality they're the ones that get many of "hung up." Do you really know what you want?

Unfortunately, it's all too common to be so used to doing what we think we "should do" or "have to do" that we lose touch with what really lights our fire. When we constantly push ourselves and force ourselves to do what we don't want to do, we dull our inner senses. We lose our ability to feel the passion that pulls us forward and the signals that guide us there.

Do you ever wonder what would really make you happy?

Have you given up even asking that question?

Have you settled into settling?

Have you rationalized that with spiritual pleasantries like, "Just be happy with what is," while, inside, you just feel bored with what is or afraid to venture something new?

What if you are equipped with an inner guidance system that is constantly sending you signals that would break you out of your ruts? What if your body is guiding you with sensations which tell you exactly what you want and how to get it? What if it was just a matter of paying attention and learning to discern what those signals are telling you?

In my experience, it can be as simple as pausing my busy-ness and following my interest.

What if you took a conscious break from your "shoulds" and "have tos?" What if you gave yourself a period of time every day in which you did exactly and only what you were really interested in doing? It doesn't matter how long you do that, just that you make it a top priority and do it every day.

For example, what if you've been dreaming of being on a beach and went to TripAdvisor.com and looked at possible destinations? Or, stopped at that yoga studio on your way home from work and picked up a class schedule? Or, browsed through the bookstore for a magazine or book that catches your eye? Or attended a meet-up focused around a subject you're passionate about?

What might happen if you took time to indulge and participate in something that interests you-no matter how pointless it seems? What if you followed wherever it led you? What new experiences might open up? What new paths might appear?

If you did that, when you got to the end of each day you could look back on whatever happened and say, "Today, I took a step to manifesting something new!"

When you participate in anything that interests you and follow where it leads, for even a few minutes every day, you grow new possibilities. You take the first step to manifesting a new reality.

Enjoy your practice!

Are you ready to be free from negative thoughts, feelings, and beliefs that keep you stuck repeated the same old results?

Focusing on Love Versus Happiness

There are a lot of conversations these days that are focused on happiness. Happiness as a means of making significant successful changes in a person's life, and as the basis for building an ideal life on. If the job you are thinking of applying for doesn't make you happy then don't apply for it. Or if the person you are having a relationship with doesn't make you happy, then find someone who does to share your life with.

And this is all really great and definitely a good way to build an enjoyable life.

In fact, I really enjoy being happy. Living a life of happiness is so much better than living a life that is led by any other dominant emotion or vibration. One of the most important concepts (if not the most important concept) of the Law of Attraction is that the first thing everyone should do before they attempt any manifesting, is to get happy!!

But...

Happiness is just one emotion. As a human being I have a whole range of emotions that I fully appreciate and want to experience as they arise and are relevant to what is happening in my life.

Recently, a much loved member of the tribe of coaches that I belong to, passed away. The sadness and grief that was expressed by her friends, clients, and peer coaches was so strong it could easily be felt through the internet.

There was no happiness in this situation. No way to turn what had happened into something to rejoice or feel happy about. The only option, the best option in my perception, was to feel the grief and sadness until that grief and sadness was complete and decided to leave on its own. Anything less, any attempt to force happiness in a situation like this was unthinkable.

But what was also there, amidst the grief and pain and sadness of this huge loss, was a real feeling of love for someone who had touched so many lives in truly amazing ways.

And on the very day I had heard about this person's passing and was reading the messages with their outpourings of sadness and grief, I also saw this message from Rumi: "This is a subtle truth: whatever you love, you are." Yes, I do believe in synchronicity.

Happiness is an emotional response to what we do in our lives, to the actions, the experiences, the activities that make up our lives. And yes, the more actions, experiences and activities in our life that make us happy, the better our life will be.

But...

If, through all the actions, the experiences, and the activities that make up my life, including those that elicit the full range of human emotional responses I have, I can still feel love along with that emotion, then that's who I am, not just what I do, or what my life is like.

What if I built my life on things that I love, rather than on things that made me happy? The travel experience isn't something that makes me happy every single step of the way, but travel is something I love. Because travel something I love, then the parts of travel that make me frustrated, even angry, are all part of what makes travel so wildly awesome and lovable. And that is who I want to be. And that is the life I want to live and am working on building right now - on bringing into my life things that are so wildly awesome that I will love, unconditionally, every aspect of them - including the times when they don't make me feel happy.

Unconditional love and unconditional self-love is a love that goes way beyond happiness. Those are the activities, the experiences that I want to be. That I can experience a life full of unconditional love and unconditional self-love through even the deepest, most painful bouts of grief, or sadness, or fear, or frustration, well that's the wildly awesome life I'm looking for.
