YOU SHOULD NOT GIVE MORE LOVE - Says a Heart or a Mind?

"There is a wisdom of the head, and a wisdom of the heart"- are words by Charles Dickens. Said this, a mindful love might had travelled you to your own frantic hands. A situation such where you are unable to twist nut out of bolt- unable to sense if it is coming up or going down. So, after having given the little time you decide to leave it annoyed. But if you go by wisdom of your heart, in case of love, with timely patience you shall see the nut out of bolt, easy on its way.

Well, anger does not always wise up to a good judgment. In your past, it was likely to happen that your love could not reach its destination. Curse- the circumstance. My words would not take you to probable reasons behind why you gave up on love, but reasons to believe in giving love. Be it having qualms about its meant-to-be receiver or self-anticipated resultant aloofness with reference to your or other's past- do not stop giving love. All mindful and heartfelt destinations deserve to be bound for love. You reach there and figure out if it is livable in future. Not all journeys are pleasant but they teach you where not to go.

Not even taking you to universal perspective, but our neighborhood have become rambunctious about the biggest and smallest, wealthiest and poorest, celebrity and follower. Soon after you wash your hands of this taste, you feel the no-love-return investment has hit you while all materialism. Period. You knew how beautiful it was to give love. Coward is those who are unable to express what they feel. Love is unbound for feeling of care, respect, joy of togetherness and intimacy. Tethering to some prolonged grief for the beloved that left you due circumstance needs disintegration.

Often in love, mind is friends with perceived reality, while the heart with boundless optimism. Situation stands solvable by wisdom of both. Relevant is the extent and applicability of either put right. This should ultimately call for disembarkation from any relationship that does not respect love, but not from power of giving it. There are things and people who need love to grow and feel belonged to the world. It is your beauty- show it, your strength- build it. Give more love to yourself and to the universe. It will come back to you in all forms, sooner or later.

Less Stress, More Living

Stress is a real issue in these modern days. It is reported that people who regularly experience physical symptoms caused by stress is 77%. We all experience stress in our lives but how do we handle it? Is it pharmaceuticals? Alcohol? Or do some of us, most of us just live with it. The thing is, living day by day with stress can have a serious impact in our lives over time. I have personally experience this by just not thinking about it and lock it deep inside a locked chess, beneath the deepest parts of my sea of thoughts. Whenever another event takes place that causes stress, I will just place it in there too. Days turn into weeks, weeks to months and before we know it, stress seems to creep out of this overflowing chest of unknowing results. I have never resolved these thoughts that cause these stress levels to climb higher and higher. Some of us are like bombs, one event triggers the mind and before you know it all those thoughts in this chest explodes out uncontrollably, over flooding our minds to where we can't seem to function or breath. This is what most would say is a panic attack. I have been there and it is the worse timing when it happens. So here are some simple ways in dealing with stress and resolve your thoughts instead of hiding them in this chest.

When enough, is enough!

1) Breath...

We all know how to do it! We have been doing it since the first breaths we have taken as an infant. Overtime are technique in breathing does get sloppy. Technique is everything. Sit down, close your eyes and breath. Focus on just your breathing, tune into your body and just focus on that. Slow it down and take deeper breaths, and remember! have good posture as you are sitting. Posture is key to breathing, it helps us gain more oxygen into our lungs. As you breath you will notice that your belly fills up with air first. But have you noticed? That you have more room underneath and on each side. Focus on breathing just a little deeper as you concentrate on breathing AND good posture. Slow down and take the time to take some deeper breaths and you will notice a change in your own conscious mind. It allows us to take this moment to really be present. Not the past, nor the future, but present.

Sam Harris has an amazing podcast that I heard his technique for breathing.

He truly explains in more in depth in this YouTube video, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pzMhLmErz5Q

2) Diet

Your diet can have an effect on your own personality. Eating unhealthy foods everyday can cause bloating. Overdoing your portions in your meals will leave you with plenty of extra calories that you end up storing away. Feeling bloated because you know you over ate, or over complicating your meal can have this affect. Just pay attention to your choices everyday. Do you really need sugary drinks at every meal? Mixing up all these complex carbs can definitely make your body harder to process everything and end up with an unhealthy feeling. Eating healthier can be a little challenging, but it is so much simpler than you think!

3) Exercise

We as humans were meant to move! push ourselves and overcome challenges and obstacles within our lives. Exercising in the morning, before work or anything you do allows us to wake up, get the blood moving and take anything that might come at us in our every day lives. Yoga is perfect for starting the day, you are already learning to breath better, have better technique sitting, take it to the next level! This is just the beginning, from yoga you will be more active and more inclined to try new things. Being active is the key though, through breathing, good posture and your new choice of activity, you will want to experience active things that you thought you could not do before. I have been there trust me on this. Joe Rogan has an amazing motivational video on exercise. Click http://www.YouTube.com/watch?v=e_eJRDl2J6Y

Very simply put, Breathing, Diet and Exercise can help you battle the long struggles of stress. Take these steps when you have had enough! You don't need pharmaceutical prescriptions to help with your own conscious thoughts, or your bloating, weight loss or even depression. It all starts with saying enough is enough! Breath, look into your diet, and exercise. You will be surrounded with people who do the same and those communities are an amazing way to support you into your new life style. Wake up and truly live again.

Finding Contentment in a Chaotic, Confused Life

In a season of reflecting over the fiftieth anniversary of Dr Martin Luther King Jr's passing, there is a stark image presented by the man himself as he speaks to students from Glenville High School in Cleveland, Ohio, on March 31, 1968 - five days before he was assassinated.

Dr King recounts a story of riding the school bus in the segregation era, having to sit on the back of the bus, the white children sitting at the front. He recalls placing his mind on the front seat and promising himself that his body would be there one day.

That's a passion unbound by the circumstances with which he was presented. He crystallised this following concept in his being:

No army can withstand the strength of an idea whose time has come."

- Victor Hugo (1802 - 1885)

Dr King refused to be identified as someone lesser than someone else. He proves the possibility that we, in our minds, can transcend the milieus we find ourselves in. The mind is unimaginably powerful; invincible when it's indwelt with the thrust of integrity and virtue.

When our mind insists on being held by a vision, no matter how lofty, the heart is encouraged. And when the heart is encouraged, faith, as a process, is inevitable. When faith walks forward with feet adorned with the shoes of courage, it's the forerunner of an anointed destiny.

If we live a life that is full to the brim to the overflowing, we don't resent it. Bitterness only spurns a hope that could otherwise be chosen. If pressures fill our lives, we must live as if change will inevitably come. If it is loneliness, we trust it won't always be that way. If it is grief, we know the sun must rise on some soon horizon. Confusion and chaos may be our present location, but contentment amid such noise assures us of a peace-laden destination.

Contentment begins in the mind resolved to choose hope in the mirage of despair.

Psychological And Psychiatric Effects On Human Lives

All individuals experience psychological and psychiatric impacts equivocally and vicariously in their daily lives. What matters is to understand the factors which affect in a pronounced or in an insignificant way. Prior to prodding over the minor or major intricacies of these impacts, we must understand the basic concept and its context.

Kevan Lee explains in his article, "Six powerful psychological effects that explain how our brain ticks." Although his analysis specifically narrowed down to commercial activity, yet it reflects the thinking pattern within an individual. The synopsis of his article highlights that you are more likely to achieve if you remained normal. The extreme approach either cautious or naïve will affect differently in comparison to being normal. A question arises; Is this effect volunteer or spontaneous? We must examine the steps we intend taking to improve ourselves so that it eventually develops your mind.

At the first instance, we should be in good condition both physically and mentally to start thinking in a healthy way. It is an established fact that body and mind work coherently provided they are in a better physical condition. Well-being of an individual within a family is important because it affects the entire family. It then leads an individual or a group to arrive at a sound decision which will benefit productively. The important factor is the motivation which enhances overall performance both materialistically and spiritually.

The synopsis of above factors conclusively established volunteer psychological factors. It can be modified or altered to suit the beginning and end of aims and objectives. Now, it is intriguing to consider the spontaneous or spur of the moment effect. Here, we are concerned by the emotional impact it leaves on an individual. These impacts are directly proportional to implicit and explicit attitude. In comparison, the former is heavily inclined towards negativity.

It becomes interesting to evaluate; how does psychiatry affect attitude? Psychiatry is the medical specialty devoted to the diagnosis, prevention, study, and treatment of disorders. These include various abnormalities related to mood, behavior, cognition, and perceptions.(Ref Wikipedia) I am primarily writing the peripheral impact in a broader sense rather than doing medicinal analysis. The impacts can be serious if the disorder is neglected and ignored for longer time. However, in the initial stages, it can be controlled with treatment and support from psychological tests too.

In 705 CE, the first psychiatric hospital in the world was built in Iraq by Al-Razi (one of the greatest Islamic physicians). In his opinion, mental disorders were considered medical conditions, and were treated by using psychotherapy and drug administration. It is now clear that the human mind, and its illness are the result of cognitive disorder. Its effect can be peripheral or severe depending on the impact it sustained due to many reasons. The crux of the matter is the impact which is psychiatric, and it is should be treated accordingly.

Analyzing variations and deviations within the concept of psychology and psychiatry, it reflects human behavior. It is heavily adopted emotional decisions, thereby, affecting health, wealth and motivation. Here, home environments, social involvements and the will-power inculcate positive behavior leading to dramatic results. It will be a remarkable feat of an individual, and it is the hallmark of a compact decision of psychology and psychiatry.

The Ultimate Time Machine (Forward And Backward)

Your awakened mind is the ultimate time machine forward or backward. When things are seen differently, and lived differently, things happen. That is the honest reality of the situation. Spiritual is just another word for things happening that are genuinely miraculous and amazing. It is like the farmer in Africa looking for diamonds everywhere else but on his farm in the creek bed for diamonds as the genuine temple of the living God is within us all right where we stand in so many senses.

Listen, the ultimate time machine is a perception and a reality, not something I made up on the spot.

Like the movie "Somewhere In Time" or the book "Bid Time Return" by Richard Matheson, all we have to really do is reach back into our genuinely nearest resources to find the genuine miracle. The key to that miracle could be in your local library as a good hypnosis book or book or great book on the mind that teaches you to use your mind right to produce and procure that miracle for yourself.

The only enemy you have to all this really is thinking that the miracle is produced anywhere outside of yourself. To put it another way, "All is within, nothing is without" or the secret of the Emerald Tablet of Hermes said: As above, so below" or as Rodman Edward "Rod" Serling said, "look close, look close into your Twilight Zone".

Why do you think it is a phenomena that the most deep things in life and existence are the simplest or seem to be the simplest and most direct? We must look at and think about the facts of reality with the mind of a child, yet as adult as an old person that has the wisdom. That is done by being open enough to learn, yet closed enough to dismiss what does not work realistically.

The crisis only comes when things get too complicated, or what does not work is pursued as if it does. Every solution is simple because it is done with what is genuinely possible. What do you think it means when it is said that "thought attracts that upon which it is directed", "the early bird gets the worm to eat" or "the quickest most direct way is the simplest"?

So, what does it come down to? It comes down to using reality correctly to get a right result, that is it. All the rest is just beautiful and useless theory, lies and fantasies that lead nowhere.

The Hybrid Mind

Optimistic researchers are suggesting that digital technology is creating the smartest generation yet, freed from limitations of geography, weather and distance - those pesky inconveniences of the physical world. However, other people, such as philosophers and sociologists including many educators, are skeptical of the benefits of technology. They believe that technology alone is detrimental to our overall mental health and well-being.

In order to get the benefits of the digital world, we need nature to help us out. In other words, we can't leave out nature out of the equation and take the time to commune with nature if we are to have a healthy mind and body.

The hybrid mind combines the use of computers to maximize our ability to process intellectual data and natural environments help to ignite our senses and accelerate our ability to learn and feel. So, we need both the digital and nature to have a healthy mind and brain.

The digital era has led to sensory dysfunction. Nature is the way to counteract sensory deprivation and to augment our minds with something that gives us meaning and balance as well as a feeling of well-being and connectedness.

Here are a few ways to counteract our sensory deprivation:

• Take time to be out in nature. Play tennis and badminton with your family and friends. This will get you outside.

• Listen to the birds. Take time to get outdoors, whether it is into your back yard or going out for a walk. Try and name at least two to three different bird songs that you hear along your walk.

• Take a walk in the woods. This will give you a chance to commune with nature in its rawest form. You will be able to bask in the smells and sounds of nature.

• If you are a jogger, make sure that you jog in nature as often as you can. Go to the park or river bank if you live close to one, and run there.

• Choose times to walk when the world is not bustling and busy. Perhaps early morning or evening would be a good choice, depending on where you live. The quieter it is, the more clearly you will hear and commune with nature.

• Have at least four or five picnics every summer. This is another great way of spending time in nature.

By taking these steps, you could be getting the best from nature and you can also get the best out of the digital world by using your devices most efficiently so that you can have time to get out into nature and do the things that you enjoy the most.

Brick And Mortar

We must all build our lives from the ground up, brick and mortar style. In that sense, we are all masons of our lives or spiritual builders. With that thought, I begin this article. Lately, I have personally studying for myself very deeply into the phenomena of the mind, both physical and metaphysical, and I realize one thing: Building a program within the mind takes twenty-one days or a little more, but it is possible to program the mind like a computer or a missile. What I mean to say is, like writing a somewhat complex program for an app or application, that is what it takes really about three weeks (for a good computer coder or programmer) to program the machine to do exactly what is wanted. Same with a human being in a sense. The only thing that may take longer in a human being though, is dealing with emotions and reasoning, but other than that, the same principle works in the same way.

So, line one in a program is like days one through seven in programming a mind in those senses. Week twenty-one is like writing line twenty-one hundred in a program. Beginning of program, middle of program, end of program, it is all the same. In a sense, we are programming a human application, but it is strikingly the same.

When I think of Uell Stanley "U.S." Andersen's work or read any of it, I genuinely and deeply think of these facts, also, if you want to change anything in your life, I suggest you give what I am mentioning in a brick and mortar way some thought too. Change is more basic and genuinely easy to do than you think. What is three concentrated weeks (or a little more) in one life with hundreds, even thousands of weeks anyhow? Not much.

Indeed, we are our own steersmen. If we were not, then, we would not even have individual thoughts or any programming power over our lives. In fact, we really would be blank slates that can "go where the wind blows". Here, in this article, I am getting a basic reality about life across: We become what we think about if we think about it enough. Sure, I lifted/quoted part of that one from Earl Nightingale, but that is a reality that cannot be denied anyhow. What do you think those "nuts" Emile Coue and William Walker Atkinson/Theron Quincy DuMont meant by "Mind Building" anyhow? Some will get it, some will be irritated by the repetition of realities, but I end with the saying of a Bob Dylan song: You have got to serve somebody.

You either make direction or it is given to you. That is what I mean by that one about "you have got to serve somebody". I am not saying "good or bad" or anything, but I am saying direction comes from you or it is given to you for good or bad, that is all.

When Stress Is Out of Control

Stress levels are off the charts these days. Unfortunately, medicine has no answers for all the stress that's killing us. Well, they say they do, but they don't.

Their biggest answer is psych drugs--antidepressants, antipsychotics and the rest of the gang. And these drugs may make you feel a bit better, but the odds are stacked against even that. Worse, these treatments don't actually heal anything.

So you're risking your brain, your nervous system and your endocrine system just to feel a little bit better--maybe. Or maybe not. That doesn't sound like a sensible trade-off to me. If I'm going to risk a lot, I want to get a lot in return, too.

Let's talk about this.

Stress rampages through our bodies and causes woe upon woe. And stress is cumulative. Making it through a rough patch doesn't mean your stress understands it's time to back off and start making nice. Oh, no; stress stays and stays and stays until we do something about it.

And since symptoms vary widely, we may not even realize that stress is the problem.

But since nobody mentions the need to deal with stress, let alone say anything about how we can do that, each stress event starts at the level where the last one left off.

This is not good news.

Let me give you an example. I was eleven-months-old when the drunk driver smashed into my parents' car and mashed my endocrine system; I was 25-years-old when a doctor finally took my health problems seriously. So, stress, in the form of a misfiring endocrine system, had a quarter-century to set up house and go about its business.

If you had an abusive childhood, you're in the same boat. And it's the same if you suffered a violent assault at some point in your life. Or lived through a war. Or worked on the front-lines of a police or fire department. Lived in a soul-sapping marriage. Ate an inadequate diet. And I could go on.

You end up with a bunch of symptoms that don't really add up, so doctors tend to write you off as a complainer, not somebody with real problems.

Medical schools teach doctors-to-be that when they hear hoof beats, they should think "horse," not "zebra." In other words, they should think of garden-variety solutions, not off-the-wall stuff. Then you show up looking and sounding like a zebra with polka dots! What are they supposed to do with that?

Now the truth is, none of your symptoms is exotic all by itself, but you present so many of them, all arrayed in new-and-different combinations that boggle the mind.

Fixing long-term stress is a step-it-through kind of deal; no magic bullets, no one-size-fits-all solutions, just taking one step at a time to get to where you want to go. It's not all that hard, but it has a whole lot of moving parts.

While a single article can't begin to cover all the moving parts, let me get you started down a good path.

Your nervous and endocrine systems, the major players in any stress situation, are controlled by the hypothalamus, a tiny gland that's part of the brain. Unfortunately, this little wonder-gland gets no protection from the blood/brain barrier that's supposed to keep the brain safe.

The last fifty years or so have been really, really hard on the hypothalamus. These days, our now-raggedy little king gets whacked pretty much every day, usually multiple times.

Whacking the hypothalamus causes stress, which the body stores because it has no other choice. So day after day, week after week, year after year, we're doing ourselves in. Not by choice, but because we don't realize the cause or the consequences.

What happened fifty-or-so years ago? That's when hypothalamus enemies started showing up in our food. These enemies, called excitotoxins, rev our brains up to toxic levels, which damages the hypothalamus. Some autopsies have even found hypothalami with holes going clear through them!

Three excitotoxins cause most of the trouble: Aspartame, glutamate and soy. Aspartame shows up in diet foods, mostly soda and chewing gum. Glutamate shows up as monosodium glutamate, which is in virtually all fast foods, restaurant foods, meals from a box or the freezer--everywhere you look, in other words.

Soy's everywhere, too. In addition to being an excitotoxin, soy stomps on the thyroid, throws your estrogen out of balance (breast cancer for gals; prostate cancer for guys), eats the minerals in your body, etc. And most soy gets sprayed with cancer-causing glyphosate. Soy is a disaster.

Eliminating excitotoxins lowers your body's internal stress levels, which gives your body a fighting chance. Giving excitotoxins the old heave-ho takes patience and is probably the hardest part of fixing the problem, but health is worth every ounce of effort you put into it.

And so are you.

Life - An Oscillation Between Commotion And Serenity

Human's existence, progress and propagation have its own volatility. Commotion and serenity compel all of us to meditate in a meaningful manner. What transpires and conspires within and outside the mental sphere of an individual needs to contemplate. Human volatility can be constrained provided sensibility prevails. One factor of volatility is commotion generating undesirable outcome. Generally speaking, the root cause of commotion is insignificant. Nevertheless, it makes a disturbance in and around. If we do not pacify the differences in the group or among people worried, and so it contributes to total chaos. At this occasion, the only element which creates harmony is pacification among disturbed people.

Breaking down the commotion will reveal that the degree of neurotransmitter within the brain becomes off-balance. Hence, it calls for a correction to alter the imbalance to restore normalcy in humans. In simplification, one call for serenity to prevail to become contained and framed. Christopher Bergland is a renowned world-class endurance athletic coach says, "This biological design is generous, but lies dormant in many." It implies we need to explore and execute in the correct way to achieve bliss and felicity.

The word serenity stretches in different direction covering vast regions of imaging. Nevertheless, Johnny Miller is an English film, television and theatre actor appropriately said that Serenity was knowing that your worst shot is even reasonably full. He arrived at a subtle and profound statement which is outstanding by itself. The life is oscillating between commotion and serenity when feelings and mental deliberation contemplate.

An inquisitive mind always wants reasons and deliberations to see why in the first instance it finds. At the outset, commotion and serenity are like hand and baseball mitts. It is shown that whatever conflict or commotion wreak havoc. It is likewise a fact, as mentioned by scholars that human beings are trained to protect themselves. Scientists have enlightened us that we have two amygdala (It acts an important function in motivation and emotional behavior), one along each side of the head, behind the eyes and the ocular nerves. Dr. Bessel Van Der Kolk, in his book 'The Body Keeps the Score', calls this the brains "smoke detector." It is responsible for detecting fear and preparing our body for an emergency reaction."

Human organisms are hardwired subconsciously to certain preconceived ideas due to our environmental rituals and practices., As we remained attached within the similar living and thinking pattern then we develop stagnant intelligence. The logical doctrine and facts and phenomenon get relegated, and ritual takes precedence over our lifetimes. These rituals if devoid of values, then it is meaningless and superstition become part of our animation. Nonetheless, if sense and sensibility prevail, after it becomes a bliss and felicity.

It is at once obvious that people turn the victim of circumstances. They fall prey to gossip and hearsay rather than presenting a second thought to the happenings around them. This is the important juncture where commotion takes a quantum leap and disturbed the peace of mind. The opposite can happen provided people remained calm and composed. The major hurdle is the deficiency of sound interaction and fruitful discourse. Social gathering among families and neighbors will pave the path for greater discernment and humility. Tallying up the argument is to build up a habit of forgiving others and ignoring trivial issues.

The Law of Attraction in Recovery From Alcoholism

You will always find exactly what you're looking for, this is an age-old truth. It still surprises me when I discover how many people don't realize this truth. To recover from alcoholism, which is my primary focus in the recovery community, I always start in the mind. Thoughts lead to feelings, which lead to actions, which lead to results.

So the question is; what are you looking for? Or may I phrase that a different way; what is it that you WANT? You see, wanting is the beginning of deliberate creating, and until you want something, you'll never have it. That being the case, if what you want is not currently present in your life, you must look inward and examine your thoughts.

Our minds are sending and receiving stations. All attraction begins with you. Therefore you must focus on what you want, not on what you need. Because, when you focus on what you need, you're actually focusing on the lack of what you want, thereby attracting more lack (of what you really want).

You must continually seek that which you desire. Every day, every morning, from your bed upon awakening, throughout the day, until again you find it's the end of the day, and your head is back on the pillow. You must continually seek that which you desire. When you do this, a vibrational harmonic frequency will begin to resonate out into the Universe, and all that is in alignment with that frequency, all things that resonate vibrationally with your desires, that resonate with what you want, they will begin to appear in your life. Not just things either, but thoughts and ideas, concepts from Creative Intelligence, they will begin to appear in your mind in the form of inspiration, excitement, and motivation. Things you've watched others attempt, and up until now you've never even dared to think about... but now you want to try them for yourself.

Soon, opportunities will begin to present themselves. New and different people will show up around you. Situations that used to baffle you will suddenly begin to resolve themselves with grace and ease. You will find yourself where you want to be, and becoming who you want to be, more and more each day. This is the way of things, it is Universal Law. It cannot not happen.

Then, it's simply a choice, not a struggle. I have many years of personal experience with these matters, in life generally, and in recovery specifically. When all you desire is recovery from alcoholism, and that becomes a burning desire, and it consumes you every day with a passion that surpasses all others, then it is an outcome with an imminent arrival. Be present; remain open; and trust your Intuitive Wisdom.

Freedom of the Mind and Soul Intelligence

Attention, Distraction, and True Freedom

We are endowed by our Creator with freedom of the mind. Our mind creates our reality. As a whole, humanity has lost its ability to see the connection with aspects of consciousness, primarily thoughts and feelings, and the experiences and circumstances in our lives. Through Divine Grace and intervention, we are now re-awakening to our true creative powers.

This is an opportunity to reassess our lives and our world and to change whatever it is that does not resonate with our true being. We can put an end to suffering. We can put an end to poverty and debt. We can put an end to illusions and experiences of lack. We can experience optimum health.

Humanity as a whole and each of us individually is experiencing cognitive dissonance, or stress, when we are not in alignment with our true power of mind.

By becoming aware of our inherent freedom of the mind, how to reclaim it, and how to harness its creative powers, we can be set free to create and experience our lives and our world according to our true hearts' desires. We can experience abundance and fulfillment. We can tap into the power of our soul, know truth, and consciously direct our minds. We can discover our individual gifts and put meaning and purpose into our lives using the creative freedom that is our birthright. This is Universal Order and it will bring peace and harmony to our planet.

Through societal conditioning, our values and awareness has become skewed. Our minds have been like ping pong balls, bouncing here and there, directed and re-directed through outer forces. We have not retained the awareness of the power of our minds and hearts. We have relinquished our individual sovereignty. We have become distracted from purposeful living. We have developed the belief that life is happening to us rather than through us. We have devolved to victim consciousness.

Time to Reclaim Freedom of the Mind

The first principle to understand when reclaiming freedom of the mind is the conscious direction of attention. Normally, we direct our attention outwardly most of the time. Unless we meditate or contemplate regularly, our awareness is observing outer reality. We need to spend regular period of time directing our attention inwardly to access the power of our soul-our true self. By tapping into our inner wisdom we apprehend truth. We become empowered by our essential nature of spirit. We receive guidance and direction for our lives and we discover our individual gifts and reason for being.

What we place our attention on is where our energy goes. It also programs our memory. If we become conscious of what we are doing with our attention and the impact it has on our life, we can become inspired to make some beneficial changes.

Societal conditioning has occurred by design. If we can be deceived to give up our freedom of the mind, then others can control us. They can usurp our personal power, and they can greedily accumulate the world's wealth of resources through selfish motives and deceptive strategies. It's been happening for a very long time. Technologies are being used in harmful ways that destroy, rather than support, life on our planet. There is much to be brought into our awareness here so that we can rise above it. We can learn to succeed with true values and by using our greater inner technologies.

There has been purposeful programming of our subconscious minds through commercials that contain subliminal messages and symbols. There has been values programming by making us believe our being and our value is determined by what we have. Our perceptions are manipulated to serve the few rather than the greater good of the whole. Waking up to the truth about these issues will help to impress the importance of the changes we need to make to become empowered by freedom of the mind once again.

Geoengineering, H.A.A.R.P., the pharmaceutical drug push, media manipulation through narratives, weather warfare, biowarfare, radiation, and EMF waves from cell phone technologies that are meant to harm or destroy us have no power over us if we master our own minds and vibration. The frequencies of love are scientifically proven to provide better health and welfare. Attune to the frequencies of Earth by going out into nature. Understand the Schumann resonance factor for your health and well-being. Your mind will respond. Your body will become healthy.

Distraction

Distraction is a method of capturing attention and energy. Have you ever had a goal or something you wanted to accomplish and then got distracted? What did you do to eliminate distractions to accomplish your goal? Have you ever "set your mind" to get something done, and then did it?

Imagine eliminating all distractions and focusing your attention on your intended outcomes. Practice setting some intentions and then focus your attention on achieving it, use your mind (attention), your heart (feelings of passion), and your body (physical action) to accomplish your goal. Inside you will feel the intrinsic value (joy, happiness, peace) of being in alignment with your True Self.

Awareness is not a matter of ignoring the truth. It simply places the negative effects of what has been created into the periphery vision of the mind, moving into the causal nature of the mind and whole consciousness, to create something better. No, awareness is powerful. We just can't dwell on things that are negative without having in mind what we are going to replace it with. We are becoming conscious creators.

True Freedom

We can experience true freedom by attuning to our inner core-to our soul self through our heart with inward attention. This attunement is a calibration of consciousness. It connects us to the genius intelligence within. It is where we know that we are essence of love. Infinite, undivided, whole.

It is time for humanity to collectively regain control of our own of minds and be free.. Suffering cannot continue. Oppressive forces cannot remain hidden and attempt to control our minds for us.

Individually we must make the choice and the effort to regain control of our mind. We can do this through conscious attention direction, elimination of distractions, and focusing our attention on solutions provided through the intelligence of the soul.

Let us master our minds and be free!

This is a great time in human history. We are free to create a peaceful world through unity consciousness. We are all waking up together to realize what we focus our attention on determines our vibration and our reality is created by our thoughts. We are understanding our potential now, and we are empowered!

Have a Mind of Your Own

It takes consistent personal effort and that moment of lining up with that decision to eliminate things, tasks, and people, that consumes and drains you to no-end. Or else there isn't really much changes to your current pattern of thoughts and the way you carry yourself in your day-to-day. You're always tired and emotionally drained. In short, a chore to be with. Because you're always dumping your problems and issues onto other people. Or vice-versa, having people do that to you. What goes around, comes around, remember? That's what a vicious cycle is. You get back the exact same thing you put out there for others. That, is the balance of nature. It circles right back to you. You're still giving away what you don't have. I call it having your emotions "in deficit".

Whether you harbor a great insecurity and fear for aging, for your weight, your finances, your relationships, any single one of that respectively is considered being emotionally tied down, as trivial as it may seem. As long as you carry stress and negative habit of thoughts about any single aspect of your life, you're not completely "free". If it pops up in your head constantly and lingers around, you're not free. Most people just grow accustomed to all these negative feelings over a period that it eventually feels "normal" to have it stick around in their life experience. When was the last time you said or heard, "someone said the other day... someone told me last week... I heard from someone... " over your conversations? If that "someone" isn't "you", keep it to yourself and don't pass it on to anyone. Even if that someone is your mother. If you've never tasted it, tried it, felt it yourself, don't tell someone what "someone else" said. That'd be like trying to feed a person food that your own pet dog wouldn't even steal a sniff. If you haven't even tasted it, don't offer it to someone else.

Don't blindly believe everything you see and hear without experiencing it for yourself to see that it truly serves you well too, and don't doubt anything you've never seen or heard before at first chance without trying, and simply write it off without thinking twice. In short, have a mind of your own. A strong and sturdy one that'll tide you through the harshest of conditions. Making the shift or learning how to make the decision to follow your own heart and own mind lays the foundation to customize yourself a belief system that serves "you" well. Self-love and worthiness is validated not by the compliments people pay you, but from your own acceptance to love and honor yourself completely. Each time you feel the need to hear a praise to feel good about yourself, you shoot yourself in the foot and when you constantly need someone else's approval to appreciate your very own self, you'll never feel free for the rest of your life.

Where Does The Fast Lane Go?

"I am a marketing executive working for a company. We are authorized channel partner of a big concern. I have huge targets to be accomplished each and every month but due to the present market conditions I am not able to achieve them. The job is a great pressure and the stress level is much too high for me to cope up with. How can I come to terms with it?"

This person is one of millions trying to live in the fast lane and keep their nerves intact. He is young, educated, dynamic and... disintegrating! The pace of modern life seems so hasty - just a whirl of minutes, hours, and days.

Living in the fast lane is heady. The mind is fully charged and the body keeps on pumping more adrenaline into the blood stream. People are momentarily on a high, but the high is shadowed by the low which comes in its wake.

In metro-cities, commuting to work for an hour each way is normal. Has anybody thought what effect it has on the nervous system and the physique?

Joyce Walsleben, director of New York University's Sleep Disorders Center, says about her research: "We found that people on a long commute, separate from their weight or obesity or age or any other factor, tended to have higher blood pressure and many of them had hypertension."

Walsleben conducted a study of 21,000 Long Island Railroad commuters who travelled more than an hour and fifteen minutes between work and home. "Half of them couldn't stay awake when they had to or they couldn't fall asleep when they wanted to," she says.

Teens today have adapted to busy schedules like they would a second skin. They compromise - on sleep, on homework, on social lives. They learn to get by. Whatever it takes to balance school, sports activities, part-time jobs and family obligations, t complete for a place in college, to have spending money...

Fast food, fast relationships, fast success... people need everything fast. Eating on the run is the most popular mode of eating. Seventy per cent of people in America prefer eating in a drive-through restaurant. "The fat-paced, time-constrained lifestyle that we as a society have developed over the past decade is driving the demand for drive-thrus," says Stephen Spence, served as vice president with Southwest Securities in Dallas. "It's an integral part of the way we eat today."

However, it's not just in America that the fast food craze has taken off. Eateries and fast parlors have mushroomed all over the world and never lack customers.

Life is more exciting but also more tiring. The signs of fast lane fatigue are in evidence. It is clear that the fascination with speed and efficiency has taken a more serious turn. So many people are living in the fast lane, with or without the knowledge that the road ends on a cliff.

But does that mean we should reverse the gear and go back to the good old days? Certainly not. There is no rewinding in the time track. What is more intelligent and creative is to turn the situation into a blessing. Create new devices to relax in the fast lane. Let life run full speed while you sit back and relax in the whirlpool of activity.

It is said that the contemporary man has everything but time. Absolutely true. But what about one-minute meditations? Why not make the most of every minute?

This is what this post is about. There are many fast lane relaxation techniques for you. It's fun, not a serious affair. Life is so short, who has time for lengthy, serious meditations? Let the turmoil be on the surface. Think of the ocean where in the depth there are no waves, no turbulence. It is simply a question of turning in.

If you have a long commute every day, use that time for talking gibberish to relieve tension. Or, sit back and watch the mind. Let the vehicle whir at the top speed, you can slow down within. Be aware of the gaps in thoughts, in feelings, in breaths, between two gears or two cars... Look for the gaps, and your energy will fall into a relaxed space.

Life is full of competition. You can compete with yourself.

Who doesn't get the blues? But you can dance them away.

Especially in these times of panic and fear, it is imperative to hold onto our sanity. If the future seems to be increasingly bleak, start living in the present. Go deeper and deeper into very moment and life in the fast lane will be transformed. Then you will actually start enjoying it without having to suffer from its side effects.

We are really at the crossroad in the world's history. It is absolutely up to us which fork we take - either down towards fear, anxiety, and finally global suicide; or up towards responsibility, consciousness and love - the golden future.

There are millions hits on the internet search drive for Wellness - from mental to physical health, cardiac fitness, cancer, yoga, how to overcome certain ailments such as diabetes, hypertension, obesity, stoke, and tips on weight loss and how to grow taller, with many other ideas getting honorable mention. It takes quite a bit of research to find any one site that has so much to offer on all these fronts, let alone one that can combine all the needs for your innermost wellness - joy, bliss and beyond. For wellness' sake you can stop looking out there, and take some time for yourself, a sort of one-stop-shop: Balanced Lifestyle Wikipedia.

Controlling Your Own Mind

Selective Focus Photo of Woman Sitting on Grass Field Posing With Her Eyes Closed

You are what you think... Scientists are now saying that your mind creates your reality and that what you think about now will create itself and manifest in the future. Thinking about that is a scary thing for some people. However, if you are fully conscious of what you are thinking about every moment of your waking day, then you should be able to control what will manifest in the future. Now, that may sound a bit 'out there', so to speak, and most people think that they are already fully conscious of their thoughts at any given time. Well, I'm here to tell you that you are not.

Try this simple exercise next time you're in the shower:

Think about each and every movement you make while washing your body, how the soap feels on your skin, the texture of your skin, feeling the water from the shower head on your back and head and how that feels. While doing this, count the number of times your mind wanders to another issue or topic that has nothing to do with you having a shower. You will be surprised.

Now this exercise will show you just how quickly and easily your mind gets away from the 'HERE and NOW' and starts to think about things of which you are almost unaware. How many times have you driven your car from point A to point B and been unable to remember how you got there, or at least part of the way?

I know this has happened to me many times. In fact, one day I was walking home from school; I remember walking out of the school gates, and then up the last little bit of the road leading to my home. I have, however, no memory at all of which way I took home or anything else along the way. Now that has stayed with me for over 40 years. It is also a good illustration of the mind, or rather the body, operating on autopilot, while the mind/brain is off somewhere else.

To stay totally in the moment of the Here and Now is extremely difficult and yet so very important. Considering we cannot change the past and have little if any real control of the future, the only thing we all have total control over is the HERE and NOW. What we do and think about right NOW is the only thing we really have full, 100% control over.

This concept is so important and yet so underestimated. Ask any smoker whether he or she is actually aware of taking a puff on their cigarette and if they're honest, most of the time, they are totally unaware of the physical aspect of smoking. In fact, some smokers will light and smoke a cigarette and not even be aware of having done so. It's so automatic that they don't think about it at all. I should know - I used to smoke.

This illustrates just how NOT in control of our mind we sometimes are and how the mind can wander off on a given path without consciously controlling where it goes.

Try this simple exercise. It takes only one minute.

Sitting down or lying down, take slow breaths in and then out. Each cycle should take about six seconds. Breathe in through your nose and out through your nose (not your mouth). Listen to the sound and feel the flow of air moving into and out of your lungs; feel your ribcage expanding and relaxing. Don't think of anything else other than breathing in and out and experience the changes in your chest.

As before, with the exercise under the shower, notice how many times your mind wants to wander off on to what you need to do later or forgot to do so far today. Each time your mind wants to go off on some tangent, refocus on your breath... in... and out... , listen to the air passing through the nose into your lungs and feel the expansion and contraction of your chest.

Over time, as you keep practising this exercise daily, you'll find that your mind will start to wander less often and you'll notice more quickly when it does wander off. Eventually, you'll be able to keep your mind focused on exactly what you're doing for the whole minute. At this point, you are starting to be able to focus on the Here and Now. If you think this was difficult to achieve, try being that focused for a whole day... It's a work in progress for all of us, but it's achievable with practice.

The more proficient you get, the more focused you'll get, and your energy will not get as depleted as quickly. You will also become much better at assessing any given situation less emotionally and more calmly. Over time you will actually gain greater insight into any given situation, because you will not be thinking about past failures or unrealistic future outcomes. You will be much more focused on the task or problem at hand and less scattered by the 'bad news' or whatever has just come up.

Obviously this is not something that can be achieved overnight. It takes time, patience and practise, but if you keep in mind that the only thing you have control over is the Here and Now, then what really matters is what you think and how you react to any given issue now, right now.

Here's another exercise to practice being in the Here and Now. If you have access to a little place of nature, say your backyard or even just a pot plant, look at a flower and focus on it 100%. Do not let any other thoughts enter your mind. Focus on every little tiny detail of the flower. Immerse yourself in every detail of the flower you're focusing on. You will actual notice that you relax more and more as your focus becomes more intense. Try it.

If you don't think you can meditate, think again. By doing these simple exercises you are actually starting to meditate. Meditation is just an extension of the one-minute breathing exercise or the flower detail exercise. What you are learning in these exercises is to take control of your own mind, rather than letting your mind control you. And that's the key.

Why Your Soul Knows What The Mind Cannot Understand

Your Soul Knows The Best Path For You

Have you ever experienced a sense of oneness? A feeling of connectedness with life and the universe? What did it feel like on an emotional level? These types of occurrences are difficult to explain through logic and reason because the soul experiences what the mind cannot explain. For example, how do you describe the attraction towards another person via logic? You might describe how the other person makes you feel, but it is difficult to define the exact quality of the attraction. This is because emotions are the language of the soul and can only be experienced through the heart. Soulful living is an invitation to merge with our heart and mind through these faculties. Is this something you're willing to explore in your life?

I'll admit, it can be difficult to navigate our way through life at the soul level because the communication is hard to distinguish. In contrast, the language of thought is direct because we are familiar with it. This doesn't mean thoughts are the only way to make sense of the world. In fact, many of our problems stem from an overactive mind that leads to stress since we buy into the narrative our thoughts promote. Have you noticed this with the mindless chatter that takes place in your head which can cause chaos and confusion? The language of the heart speaks in silence and relays messages through subtle signs and symbols.

Your soul knows the best path for you in life, yet it may not appear that way sometimes because of the challenges you face. Regardless, these are vital lessons to expand your soul's evolution. I've experienced many of these lessons throughout my life and now realise my soul was communicating to me through these experiences. Whilst they were difficult, a new path emerged following the event that lead me in a new direction. Have you experienced something like this before? Whether it be the breakup of a relationship, losing a job or the unexpected loss of a loved one? Whilst these events can be distressing, they leave a ripple effect in our consciousness and we can never go back to the same way of living.

Acceptance Does Not Mean Resignation

I've written about my life-and-death encounter in earlier articles where I describe a gradual awakening that foreshadowed a new way of living. I began to read books on consciousness, personal growth and leadership and realised my experience was a gateway to expanded living. Regrettably, I lost many friends during this time whom I no longer identified with. It seemed we were speaking different languages that neither of us could understand and our life's journey was taking us in different directions. Naturally, I wanted to hold on to these relationships because I had known these people since childhood. As painful as it was, I allowed life to take the lead, and surrendered to the process. I stopped resisting the changes because they were happening, regardless of my struggle. My resistance only fuelled more suffering, and it was easier to go with the flow hoping it would lead to somewhere special. I'm glad I did because that special place is the one I am living now and the person writing these words on your screen.

Sometimes, what seems like the wrong turn, is the only turn we need to take for life to guide us where we need to be. The soul has a plan for us and knows the people that will enter our life at the right time. It knows what lessons we need for our soul's evolution. It makes it easier when we let go of resistance and learn to accept what is unfolding. Remember, acceptance does not mean resignation, nor does it mean we like what is happening. It means letting go of the mental drama of why things shouldn't be happening as they are. All our problems will melt away when we accept what life is trying to bring us. Sometimes the pieces may be still coming together and the situation may look fragmented. This is an opportunity to practice infinite patience and wait for the storm to pass, before taking the next step.

With this in mind, I'd like you to think about a difficult situation in your life right now. Ask yourself: What does my soul want me to learn from this experience? How does my soul want me to learn and grow from it? Journal your answers in a diary. I assure you there will be responses that come forth which may not make sense at first. Keep exploring them and follow the trail. Sometimes, it will be easy and at other times you will be frustrated because you cannot make sense of what is unfolding. This is natural because you might try to dance quicker than the song being played. The uni-verse (one song) has an inherent rhythm we must abide by and when we learn to synchronise with it, life flows easily and effortlessly. Your soul not only knows what the mind cannot understand, it knows the best way to get there.

The Very Creative Art of Worrying

man on thinking pose

What do you worry about most?

I once knew someone who said when there was nothing to worry about, then she worried there was something she had forgotten to worry about.

When we worry we tend to fixate on an imagined future event. Worry is always about uncertainty and how things may not turn out as we would like, and how we think we will cope with the consequences of that.

It really does require a lot of energy and imagination to come up with the endless permutations - not to mention the intense emotions and stress worry can cause us to experience.

Do you know the original meaning of the word worry?

'To harass by pursuit and barking; to attack repeatedly; also, to tear or mangle with the teeth.'

Interesting. Is this what you are doing to yourself when you are worrying?

Now that is a worrying thought.

And what is it that makes us worry about all the terrible things that could happen, when we could just as easily focus our attention on all the wonderful possibilities? That perhaps may be even better than we have imagined?

Worry really is an art form.

It is a form of creativity in, and of itself.

I asked someone recently, 'of all the things that you have worried about - how many of them have actually happened?'

People who worry often say that they 'just can't help it'. But what if that is not true?

For that to be true you would have to have no control over your mind and that is certainly not true. For many of us worrying is a habit we don't even remember learning.

Your mind will run away with itself.

It is what your mind does. It likes having problems to solve. There is nothing wrong with you. It is the same for all of us, until we choose something different.

The thing is that when we worry it quickly galvanises energy and draws to it similar energies. Have you ever noticed that when you begin to worry about one thing, then you find other countless things coming into your mind to worry about too?

Perhaps worrying is something that you have done your whole life. It is not something that you like, but maybe it's something that you've decided you cannot change. You may even have a point of view that it is just who you are.

As Gary Douglas, founder of Access Consciousness says, 'Your point of view creates your reality.'

And we get to choose our points of view.

So what if you could choose a different point of view?

I know you can.

So the next time you catch yourself worrying. Be kind to yourself. What you cannot see, you cannot change.

Remember this article and try something from the list below.

1. What other information do I require here?

2. What are the facts of this situation?

3. What is actually true?

4. What can I do today to create a different result?

5. How could this turn out better than I can imagine?

6. Find some ways to change your energy. Susan Grandfield has a great blog all about pressing pause. It is worth checking out.

Once you have pressed pause, you can then consciously choose something else.

And let me leave you with a question...

When faced with a crisis do you deal with it or go into meltdown? Truth.

Hmmm, so what if worry (fear) is just imagined?

Just asking.

A life without worry, what would you do with all that extra energy?

How You Can Prevent Negative Thoughts From Assaulting Your Mind And Your Health

There is scientific evidence to prove that the number of information bits that enter into our nervous system is 2 millions per second. These information bits direct our thought process. A major chunk of these information bits can be contributing to our negative attitude because they come from the media that seems to have taken a vow that they will thrive only on negativity. This may be the reason self-improvement experts advise you not to read the newspapers or see the news channels at least during the first few hours of the mornings. Their intention is to help you start your days with a positive mindset.

Of course, despite all the negativity surrounding you, you can be positive and strive to improve yourself. But this is possible only if you change how you think. In fact, if you make purposeful efforts, you can succeed in it. Use these tips to awaken your dormant power.

1. Self-improvement experts classify people into two groups. The first group is called "the-cause people" and the second group is named as "the-effect people." It is because of the former group of people things happen. On the other hand, the second group blames everything and everyone for their failures. For example, if a person in the second group fails in an examination, he or she will say that it is because of bad luck that he or she could not clear the examination. Similarly, those who fail will find out some reason or the other to explain their failure.

If you belong to the second group and if you want to shift to the first group, you must first be ready to take responsibility for whatever happens in your life. Once you change your mindset, you will feel empowered to take the required action that may take you quickly towards your goal. Simply put, if you want to improve yourself, stop blaming others and be ready to take responsibility for all your actions and behaviors and the results thereof.

2. Let us assume that you have picked a book from the library, assuming that it will be interesting. After reading a few pages, you realize that the contents of the book are boring and that they may not do any good to you. What will be your immediate reaction? You will return the book to the library and try to choose a better book. Your thought process should also be the same.

If unwanted thoughts come up in your mind, you should get rid of them immediately. This means you should cultivate the habit of constantly "observing" your mind. In other words, you must purposely pay attention to what you think. So, whenever negative or unwanted thoughts come up in your mind, you should forcibly drive them away by changing your thoughts. You can do this by thinking about some positive or pleasant incident that happened in your life.

Remember that your mind is like a fertile field in which you can grow fruit-bearing trees and flowery plants. But if you allow unwanted weeds to grow in such a 'fertile field,' these weeds can do harm to your crop. Hatred, jealousy, anger, etc. are like unwanted weeds. Replace them with kindness, empathy, sympathy etc. Take people as they are. Everyone has a positive as well as negative qualities. If you look at their positive side, you will not feel hatred towards anyone. This may initially be difficult to adopt but if you practice consistently, you can certainly change the way you look at things and people.

The 1960s saw the discovery of chemicals in the human body that are known as 'neurotransmitters.' These chemicals carry messages all over the body. According to Deepak Chopra, a renowned self-improvement expert, every cell of the human body loves to immerse themselves in these neurotransmitters. This means every cell in your body is aware of what your mind thinks. In other words, unwanted thoughts can negatively impact the health of your body cells and ultimately, your overall health. You may develop what are called 'psycho-somatic illnesses.'

By practicing consistently and training your mind to think only of positive thoughts, you can improve yourself and escape from these illnesses also.
