Stimulating Your Creativity So As to Live in Peace

Resting one's mind is not so easy nowadays with so many issues arising in the news. There's much that we can do to help others; yet, the world sometimes seems out of control. Perhaps we all should do that which is within our reach so as to make this world a better place. However, an additional dose of creativity will soothe the mind while illuminating the thoughts of others. Creative endeavors, ranging from crafts to music to drawing, help the artist relax. If one thinks outside of the box and aspires to create, she will also spark interest in those around her.

When a creator feels she must invent a new object or write a new book, it gives her a motive to wake up each morning. She works very hard to achieve that goal rather than to give up on life in passive acceptance of the mundane activities of the majority. Art, music, writing, as well as other creations give people good reasons to live. Such creations stimulate conversation between people of various backgrounds as art provides a common meeting place that transcends nations and continents.

If you don't have any idea about how to utilize your creativity, you might brainstorm so as to make a list of all of your interests. You might pursue woodcraft, calligraphy, or collage. You might prefer reading poetry aloud or acting in a theatrical group. Whatever you do, make certain that you apply the technique of assemblage (linking things and events together in new and unique ways). Although we think of assemblage as being the art of connecting objects that have been collected, I would like to propose the use of an assemblage of the imagination. By looking for connections between all that happens in our lives, we can assemble the events together in a manner that reveals the importance of birth from the spontaneity of randomness. Ultimately, others will find interconnected meaning in their cut-and-paste efforts to understand the workings of the inner mind.Such creative connections should stimulate better communication and worldwide peace.

Change Your Future by Setting Goals

                       Ball on Hoop

When you look at successful individuals the world over, no matter what area of life they have achieved their success in, you will find that almost all of them have one thing in common and that is this unwavering belief that they WILL accomplish their goal, regardless of what obstacles stand in their way.

It's not surprising either that in some way, shape or form their goals were put down on paper long before they set out on their journey to success.

Goal setting is an important part of success, it gives you a purpose, something to focus on and when written down is a powerful way to help program your subconscious mind on finding a way of achieving even the most improbable of goals.

To achieve anything in life you need to know what you want and where you are going. Getting your goals down on paper gives you a tangible manifestation of your thoughts, dreams and ambitions.

When I say 'getting it down on paper' it doesn't always have to be in the form of written goals. Neither does It always have to be 'on paper', after all in this digital age where we have our mobile phones with us during every waking hour, what better place to have your goals than on a screen you probably look at a hundred times a day!

If you don't fancy writing down your goals then how about a 'vision board' made up of images, photographs and magazine cuttings depicting your goals in a more vivid way. Or as I tend to do, why not use a combination of the two?

Regardless of how you decide to get your goals down, it's IMPORTANT that you do for three main reasons.

Firstly, Just the act of writing down each goal or searching for the image of that 'dream car' starts to get your subconscious mind working and takes you a step closer to making it a reality.

The second reason to get your goals on paper is to give yourself direction, after all you wouldn't set out on a journey before knowing your destination would you?

No!

So why then, do so many people stumble through their lives without knowing where they want to go or how they are going to get there?

In the end, if you don't know where you are going how will you know when you finally arrive?

Thirdly, if you have goals to look at everyday, no matter how big or how small it helps you to build up a positive mental attitude, this in turn builds momentum that little by little coupled with some form of action will help turn your goals into a reality.

Okay! how do you do this...

First grab yourself a few sheets of paper and a pen, sit down in a quiet room where you will not be disturbed and clear your head of any limiting thoughts that may restrict your ambitions.

Then just start writing...

write down everything your heart desires, everything you want to achieve, everything you want to own, how much money you want to make, where in life you want to go - both physically and emotionally, every character trait you want to change or improve, where you want to live, what car you want to drive, the places you want to see, the people you want to help.

Be positive and write it all down, no matter how improbable it may appear to you at this moment in time, do not limit yourself to goals that you think you COULD achieve, write down what you WANT to achieve no matter how crazy it may seem.

For most people all our lives we have been told by parents, teachers, work colleagues and friends that these things are beyond us, we are not the kind of people who can achieve these heights, we don't have the right education or we are being silly for even wanting these things in life, worst of all when we hear it over and over again from so many different people we come to believe it ourselves.

Therefore what we have to do is break a lifetime of limiting thoughts and conditioning...

So how do we even start?

Well, once you have everything down on paper read through it again and make sure you have it all covered. Don't worry about how silly it may sound when you read it out loud to yourself, we all feel that way when we first do this, it's only natural. After all you are going against everything you have been told all of your life.

Anyway nobody is going to be reading this but you!

What you need to do next is take each goal and write it out again, but this time write it in as much detail as possible and as though you have already accomplished it...

Woman in Black Sleeveless Top Leaning on Black Table While Holding Cheek

For example if one of your goals is to be more confident don't just write...

'I want to be confident'

Write...

'I am a naturally confident person and very self-assured even in the most difficult of circumstances'

If you have decided to do a vision board then post images of people you admire for their confidence or a photograph of you when you were in a situation where you felt particularly confident.

If some of your goals seem extremely ambitious or even beyond what you think you are capable of achieving at this moment in time, don't worry...

look at how you can break those big goals down into a number of smaller more attainable goals. This way for every smaller goal you accomplish you are one more step closer to the big one.

The trick is to be as detailed as possible so you convince your subconscious mind that what you are reading or seeing is actually a reality.

Once you have your goals clearly written out or your vision board prepared then you need to look at it EVERY DAY - NO EXCEPTIONS!

Visualise each goal in your head, do it in as much detail as possible, see yourself in the situation, feel the emotions you will experience once it is achieved...

Walk through that dream house looking into every room. Notice the decor, the furniture, the smells and sounds...

Climb into your luxury car and breathe in the aroma of the leather, feel the texture of the steering wheel in your hand...

Count the money you are making, seeing every bill as you place it onto the table...

Feel your self confidence grow as you walk up to give that big presentation...

Enjoy the taste of your fruit cocktail as you recline on that secluded beach in the Maldives...

REMEMBER - EVERY DAY, NO EXCEPTIONS!

Two, three, four times a day or more, but once a day at the very least...

Preferably before you retire, because the time just before we drift off to sleep is when your subconscious is most susceptible to absorbing the information you are sending it.

It's generally believed that we need to repeat something 30 times or more before it becomes a habit. What this means to you is that for the whole of the first month you are really going to have to make an effort to do this on a daily basis. However over time it will become a natural part of your daily routine and once it does then you are well on your way to turning those dreams, goals and ambitions into reality.

Having said that, setting goals alone will not accomplish anything unless you take action.

You can hold an acorn in your hand and visualise the mighty Oak tree that it will become, but none of this will come to pass unless you TAKE ACTION! You need to plant the acorn in the ground and make sure it has the light and water that it needs to grow and flourish.

Similarly just like the acorn you need to action your goals and provide them with the sustenance they need to realise your eventual objective.

All the visualisation in the world is not going to help you achieve anything unless you do something about it in the real world.

As the old proverb says "Even the longest journey begins with a single step"

As long as you take action - no matter how small it may seem at first, visualise your goals and continue to do so on a daily basis the change will come.

Suddenly you will start to notice how ideas are popping into your mind, you will find solutions to problems you previously had no idea how to solve, everything is starting to look much clearer than it did before and opportunity seems to be around every corner.

In short IT WILL change your life for the better.

Why Your Skills Are Put to the Test in Any Achievement

Everyone has something they want to achieve in life. Do you just dream about it without taking action to attain it? Do you know the steps it takes?

Many people who want to and become high achievers almost always accomplish what they set out to do. This is because they stay true to their passion for life. Things they are not passionate about never become their focus. They don't waste their time on those things. High achievers know that to attain their goals and to overcome any setback they may encounter they have to stick to what they are passionate about.

High achievers also understand that finding what they are passionate about takes time but they have the patience to try different things until they find out what it is. When they find that one thing that excites them, find that one thing they would do for free, find that one thing they look forward to getting out of bed everyday to do, then they know they have found their passion.

People that are high achievers don't procrastinate. They don't wait until tomorrow to do what can be done today. If a productive thought comes to them they will take immediate action on it. This is what sets them apart. High achievers will always seek help. They do not think they know everything. They will embrace mentoring, they will embrace the intelligence of others, and they realize doing this doesn't make them weak. They realize what they are strong at and what they are weak at. They will use everything at their disposal to improve and achieve.

Individuals that are high achievers use their passion to pursue happiness and fulfillment. Their passion brings a sense of fulfillment and this allows them to live a happy and content life. Many people set goals, but pursuing fulfillment is more important than pursuing goals when it comes to your happiness. High achievers realize how important it is to have positive thoughts. They are able to keep a positive mindset in the midst of negative situations. They are very good at keeping their mind in control and they are proud of it.

Lastly high achievers don't give up. They expect the unexpected and they prepare for it. They realize that obstacles and setbacks will come and their preparation helps them to remain focused. They keep their eyes on the prize. This is the difference between dreaming and achieving. Are you ready now to become a high achiever? If so read below and contact me.

Message From the Universe: You Are the Dark Matter of Positivism!

Universe, Person, Silhouette, Star, Joy, Hug, Search

"Can you keep a secret?

You know the space between you and all things, the void. Like right now, the space between you and your computer.

That's where I hide... and watch.

Looking to see what your expectations are: of yourself, others, abundance, health, and happiness.

And from this space as I catch your thoughts, hear your words, and see all you do, no matter where we are, I manifest the next moment in time.

Fade out with "I believe in miracles, you sexy thing" by Hot Chocolate -
The Universe"

If you look up in the sky, and stare at the stars, you notice dark material in between the stars, in between the white dot that lightens the sky at night. What can that be? Is it just because it is night that we can see the distance between the stars that is covered by black material? Obviously, during daytime, it can be difficult to notice it. What you see in between stars, planets, and galaxies is what we call DARK MATTER. Why do we call it dark? Well, that is because scientists have not yet figured out what is the material/composition of Dark Matter. What and how do planets float in our Universe? On the one hand, within our Milky way Galaxy, we have Dark matter that keeps stars and planets floating and keep them where they are supposed to be but yet, OUTSIDE of our galaxy, we have Dark Energy, which is similar to Dark Matter but instead of keeping galaxies floating in our Universe, it pushes them far away from each other, at lightning speed. Some say we are about to experience a Big Crunch, where all of what we see will go back to its original point of Singularity, where energy will be highly concentrated into a pea size ball and then create the Big Bang explosion all over again. However, others disagree on that Big Crunch theory since Dark Energy is now a part of the equation in quantum theory. IF Dark Energy pushes galaxies away from each other, that means that the Universe is ever expanding right? That is simple logic. So how can scientists come up with this theory of the Big Crunch? Since the Hubble telescope can ONLY see all the way back to the beginning of time, when the Big Bang happened, 13.1 billion years ago, it is hard to assume that this actual event of the Big Bang is a repeat of an alternate Universe that occurred because of a Big crunch and created the Universe we see today.

The point of this study is that we the matter between our thoughts and actions is the nature of how we conduct ourselves daily, how we see life, how we appreciate the things we already have. By staying positive, no matter how things happen in our lives, we should focus on being grateful and thank the Universe for everything we are able to see and enjoy. Every thoughts you create, every word you say, every things you see can and will manifest itself in your future so start thinking positive. Are you experiencing issues? WE all do, so get to work and fix them. More you keep that negative energy from within, more you will experience negative results. The opposite is also true so keep on smiling, keep on moving forward and walk with your head held high. There is no other ways around that.

Would you like to inspire others to live their best life possible? If you are an amazing, authentic, and ambitious individual then why not help others to succeed in life? And you can also make a great living in the process, while feeling great because you are making a difference. Coaching is a wonderful profession and it has room for you and your divine gifts.

If you have been feeling like you have no idea what you are supposed to be doing in life or if you want to switch your career, enhance your career, or start a coaching ministry then you are at the right place at the right time. Sometimes we don't quite feel like our life is as happy as it could be, or we feel like we could be making a bigger difference, or we wake up every morning desiring a sense of greater fulfillment. And those are all signs that God still has more in store for us.

I am a firm believer that in this life we go from level to level, meaning that we are always growing and evolving. But growing and evolving is challenging when we allow things to stand in the way. Things like fear, procrastination, self-limiting beliefs, and all of the other success blockers. I have been there. You don't have to let any of those things stop you from pursuing your personal and professional goals.

Imagine all of the wonderful things that can happen for you if you commit to connecting to your next level of purpose. You must realize that God has work for you to do and He has uniquely gifted you to do it, and He has already programmed you for success, regardless of anything that you have been through. I have been through so much in my life and I can assure you that God is amazing when it comes to empowering us to transform our tests to testimonies. Testimonies that help others to live their best life possible. There is a greater version of who we are within all of us and that person deserves to emerge. Every single day you deserve to live a life that makes you smile and feel wonderful. And it is possible for you!

Affirmations to Help You Deal With Addiction

People, Portrait, Adult, Drink, Woman, Alcohol, Bar

Disconnected from Life's Source

Addictions are notoriously difficult to deal with and work through. Strategies that advocate simple solutions such as just say no, just get up and exercise, or just do something, often fall short of understanding the problem or providing the kind of helpful support that would contribute to dealing with addiction. Surely everyone knows that exercises contributes to health, lessens depression and supports working through addiction. Yet, for one who is trapped in one of these downward spirals, the act getting up to exercise is oftentimes not simple at all. Some experience this inability to be motivated as a feeling of being disconnected from whatever it is that produces life's energy and the addiction, whatever form it may be in, may be a way of compensating for the feeling of disconnection.

Spirituality, among other things, may be thought of as being aware of your connection to that life source, by whatever name it is known. Spiritual practices then are the activities you engage in to strengthen the awareness of that connection, such as meditation, prayer, selfless service, and charitable contribution, for example. These activities, like exercise, generally contribute to feeling better and generate healthy energy and optimistic attitudes. Yet, these activities can be equally as difficult to begin as exercises is for one who is struggling with addiction.

Gentle Steps To Reconnect

A gentle place to support whatever strategy is being used to deal with addiction is self-talk. Affirmative self-talk, also known as affirmations, is accessible and usable anywhere, and at any time because it takes place, often silently, in your own mind. David Straker on his Changing Minds website writes that "Repetition can also lead to understanding, as it gives time for the penny to drop. What at first may be strange, after repeated exposure become clear and understandable."

When said over and over again, simple affirmative phrases become normalized through familiarity and we become more likely to accept them. With gentle, silent repetition of affirmative phrases, you may well recreate the feeling of connection to life's source and support yourself in taking either the first or the next step through and out of addiction.

To be powerful, they must be believable

The practice of affirmative self-talk does not replace any existing strategy or treatment; rather, in collaboration with your health care professional, affirmative self-talk can become a cherished instrument in the tool box of those who continue to do the daily work that contributes to their wellbeing. Keep in mind that affirmations, to be powerful, must be believable. Feel free to adjust the words in the examples below until they feel comfortable to you when you say them silently.

  • I am open to an easy flow of health and wholeness
  • I accept help and support with ease
  • Every day I am remembering the truth of my being
  • There is that within me which is peaceful and calm
  • Every breath I take increases my clarity
  • I bring my love to every situation I encounter

Do You Always Know What You Want?

Man Wearing Jacket Standing Near Tree

Do you really know what you want and are you prepared to do whatever it takes to achieve it?

I have been watching a TV program called the "Seven Year Switch". When I saw it advertised I thought it would be a group of youngsters like "Love Island" not my cup of tea, however I happened to see the second episode by chance and realised it was a serious attempt to sort out failing partnerships. I was hooked.

By pairing with another couple each person was able to realise their faults with the help of their temporary new partner, who was able to see the situation from a new perspective. This encouraged dialog. With the result that three out of the four couples decided they would work on their differences and make their relationships work. During this period they were helped by two councellors.

This got me thinking about the situation many couples find themselves in. Swamped by day-to-day living it is easy to lose sight of what you really want, and how to support the fulfilment of dreams for yourself and other family members.

So often nobody talks about irritations, desires or hurt feelings they lie buried to resurface periodically as harsh words and rows. We seem to have lost the knack of really communicating our wants needs, hopes and desires in a caring way. Anger is at the forefront of relationships everyone seems stressed, selfishness and thoughtfulness seem to have taken over.

Even world leaders like Donald Trump and Boris Johnson are known for their thoughtless tweets and comments. Diplomacy appear to have gone out of the window!

Road rage is rife instead of courtesy and old-fashioned good manners. Youngsters swear and run a mock in schools and in the streets upsetting residents, besides threatening staff, in schools and hospital and even the fire brigade are under attack in some areas. Why is there such a breakdown in good family values and disciplined.

These wayward youngsters, often knife carrying, gang members, don't seem to know what they really want out of life, or have the desire to live a law-abiding existence. They follow the wrong role models and rampage for want of something better to do.

Sometimes businesses lose track of their direction and without changing strategies can haemorrhage great losses.

So to get what you want out of your relationships, your work or business, your hobby or life generally stop and think and then communicate with those around you, and listen to their needs too. Learn to compromise and you will be in a happier place.

I am a great fan of positive attitude books and the power of the mind for turning things around and achieving goals. These can be particularly helpful if you are going through a rough patch. In essence they all say - you are the captain of your ship steer it in the direction you want to find yourself or you can end up on the rocks!
