How to Channel Anger Within & Be Massively Productive

Man Inside Gym

Anger, desire for revenge and rage are very strong emotions. These emotions, if used for bad, can do harm and cause damage in your life on a multitude of levels. After all, "holding onto anger is like drinking poison and expecting the other person to die" (Buddha). However, since these emotions are so powerful and full of energy, if channeled toward goals, dreams and the greater good, can soar you toward success.

Here Are 3 Ways to Take Your Anger Within & Be Massively Productive

Refocus Back To you

When we are raging mad at someone who hurt us, we spend our days and nights ruminating on that person and everything they did to hurt us. The focus is on them. Instead, shift the focus back to you. Take a step back and think about what you want out of your life. Set goals for yourself and begin taking steps to achieve those goals right away, today. The motivation and energy you can muster up in a body full of adrenaline can be intense and can propel you forward. Forget baby steps, this anger channeled toward being productive instead of vengeful can send you leaping toward your goals.

Get Physical

Now, more than ever, is a time where you need to feel sexy, handsome, beautiful and full of life. Nothing can make you feel as confident in your own skin like physical activity. Exercise allows you to minimize negative emotions and release endorphins (those feel-good neurotransmitters). Take the power of anger to run faster and lift more weight. As you work out, imagine your body transforming into what you want it to become. Exercise can also reduce stress, so that when you leave the gym, you are more mentally clear to make strong, solid decisions in a time that might be chaotic and upsetting.

Learn More About Yourself

During a time of anger and rage a man/woman shows their true character. It is how you handle these strong emotions that shows your true colors and level of integrity. It is okay to be angry, it is a normal emotion but the key is how you release that emotion and what you can take from a trying time in life. To really gain self-awareness, journal. You can say all those nasty things you want to say, in your journal. In your journal, you can voice all your concerns and even how pains in your past might be coming out now in your adult years. Write about your emotions, decisions and thoughts. Writing things out does two things at the very least. First, it allows you to vent and get emotions out safely. This can help minimize nightmares and panic attacks that can stem from a buildup of emotions. Second, it allows you to note patterns of thoughts and behaviors. Eventually, this pain and these emotions will pass. You can then look back at your writings and note patterns and better understand what led you to certain emotions, actions and reactions. You can use your past journal entries as a tool to help you be more self-aware in the present and to help you react differently moving forward.

Are You Restricting Your Child's Creativity?

selective photo of a girl holding bubbles

People label creativity as an innate talent, approaching it with a self-discouraging attitude that silently speaks 'I just don't have it." or "I don't know." This mindset is so contagious that children catch onto it quick. The last thing a child needs is to be told that he or she can't do something. The truth is creativity is not a talent, but a skill. It can be learned, developed, fostered, and mastered.

If you're questioning the importance of creativity, here's why it's so significant that creativity is an essential component in expression, happiness, and success. Being creative allows the individual to be more flexible when encountering problems, which will naturally pave different avenues for the person to approach the issue. Now that we've understood the nits and grits of creativity, here's how you can foster this precious skill in children.

Children require resources to express themselves creatively. They require tools, toys, and objects to fumble around with. They also need an adequate amount of space and time. What this translates to is that your patience with them is absolutely necessary; because you're going to be cleaning up after their creative mess! The best playthings for your children to foster creativity includes art materials, building materials, blocks, or even Lego (just be sure your child doesn't swallow any!).

As a parent or an adult, you automatically become a role model in a child's eyes. Be as encouraging and participative as you can be when you're experiencing a child's imaginative behaviour. The worst thing you can do is to enforce too many rules during play. The result will be your child feeling restricted and controlled, which discourages them from doing anything extraordinary. Instead, allow your child to make mistakes and guide them to seeing the value in making mistakes. Parents focus too much on correcting their children's behaviour that they fail to realise that they're cultivating a negative perspective in the child simultaneously.

Another common parental blunder when fostering creativity in children is doing routine activities. This means that your child plays with the same toys and does the same things repeatedly. You should challenge the boundaries of your child by immersing him in different environments. This allows him or her to absorb different perspectives, different ideas, and different learning experiences. So if you find yourself taking your child to the beach for the third time this month, discuss a potential activity that your child would like to do. Including children in planning processes engages them in discussion, which provides them with more space to be creative.

Fostering creativity in a child is definitely possible, regardless of the child's intelligence. There are no bad children; but only bad parents. So don't make the same parental mistakes that everyone else makes, and start developing your child's creativity!

How To Not Fail With Your New Year's Resolutions

New Year's resolutions are a hit during the beginning of every year, but it has acquired a bad reputation due to people giving up on their resolves. Statistics show that only 9.2% of people feel like they were actually able to achieve the resolutions they made.

Why do people give up? Some blame it on the lack of enthusiasm or passion; however, these reasons are too shallow. If enthusiasm or passion determined if we will reach our goals or not, then we wouldn't be failing in the first place.

People have a hard time accomplishing their resolutions not due to the lack of enthusiasm or passion but because of limited knowledge about behaviour change. Let's understand more about this first and later we will look at five reasons why we can't keep our New Year's Resolutions and see how we can fix it.

THEORY OF PLANNED BEHAVIOUR

The Theory of Planned Behaviour by Icek Ajzen is considered to be one of the best models for behaviours affecting New Year's Resolutions. This theory explains why these resolutions fail and states that intentions or goals are built on three elements that serve as the foundation of being successful at keeping resolutions.

  1. Attitudes around a behaviour
  2. Social network's attitude towards the behaviour
  3. Belief in one's ability to reach success at a behaviour

When all the three elements are lined up to support your goal it will be easier to achieve success in whatever area you want.
Let's look at this example. If you prioritize good health and the people you surround yourself with don't smoke, you will feel strong enough about quitting smoking so setting yourself up towards it won't be a problem.

But if good health isn't your top priority, and you're surrounded with people who smoke and have tried quitting but only to fail, then setting yourself up towards quitting smoking won't be that easy.

Also, what we can notice from this model is that goal setting is not the last step. It's important to know that there is a gap between the intention or goal and the behaviour. This gap is the reason people fail at keeping their resolutions. There is a need to act and take on the right kind of behaviour so that your intentions will turn into a reality, because if not, then goals will never be achieved.

Once we understand this model, we'll get an idea of the five reasons New Year's Resolutions fail. Let's go through these reasons now.

FIVE REASONS WHY NEW YEAR'S RESOLUTIONS FAIL

Reason #1 - No Strong Reason Why

When you have a weak attitude toward your goals, there is a high chance that you will fail at keeping your New Year's resolutions. Make sure you are clear on why your resolution is important. Answer the reason why you need to achieve your goal and what will happen if you achieve it or if you don't.

Cultivate a strong attitude by making sure that the resolutions you make will impact your life for the better. In 2, 3, or 10 years' time what do you think life will be like if you keep your resolutions? The answer to that question will be a great motivation, an energiser, and a means for you to stay focused in order to accomplish your goals.

Find a compelling answer to WHY you need to keep your resolution.

  1. Why do I need to accomplish my fitness goal? So I'll do well at my child's school sports day instead of becoming an embarrassment.
  2. Why do you want to travel? So I can treat my parents who sacrificed their trips in order to provide first for my needs.
  3. Why do you want to be successful at your new business venture? So that I can provide a better life for my family, my children can go to a better school and help my parent's pay their mortgage.

Those are just some answers to questions that will keep you on track. Always remember that a good answer to WHY will motivate you when it seems like you are about to give up.

Reason #2 - Weak Support Network

The five people you spend most of the time with is who you most likely are or who you'll become. That's how important a role the people you spend time with plays in your life. So, more than thinking about surrounding yourself with cool people, it's important that you have forged close connections to people who will hold you responsible for the accomplishment of your goals.

Even the most successful person will sometimes struggle in finding the motivation and accountability to keep a New Year's Resolution that is why surrounding yourself with people who care enough about your success will help keep you focused.

Here are some examples on how you can surround yourself with the right people who will help you achieve your goals:

  1. Do you want to be fit? Join a gym near your area and tell your trainer to not go easy on you.
  2. Do you want to start your own business? Find a networking organization and join them. Commit to attend their meetings.
  3. Do you want to own a property? Consult and be mentored by an expert on property investment.

People who will challenge you, hold you responsible and push you to be better are what you need in life. Go out and find them if you don't have any now. Again, your close connections can either help you or break you into keeping your goals.

Reason #3 - Lack of Self Efficacy

Self-efficacy is a psychological construct first created in 1977 by Albert Bandura. This belief is related to one's ability to be successful in the accomplishment of goals.

There are actually two ways self-efficacy affects one's goals.

First, self-efficacy is linked to how a person creates challenging goals. The more confident they are of themselves, the more likely will they create goals that are more challenging and fulfilling. Second, self-efficacy determines how likely a person will take action after they are done setting their goals.

Cultivate self-efficacy daily until you reckon that you are unstoppable. This is important because achieving your goals requires that you believe in yourself. Here are 4 different ways to increase one's self-efficacy:

1. Performance Accomplishments

Goals can be broken down into smaller bits where every accomplishment is celebrated.

2. Vicarious Experience

Find someone who you consider as a role model. Observe how they act and apply what you have learned from them.

3. Verbal Persuasion

Everyone needs to be encouraged. Find someone, a life coach or a mentor perhaps, who will tell you the things you need to hear to boost your belief in yourself.

4. Emotional Arousal

Before taking any significant step toward the accomplishment of your goals, condition yourself by watching a movie or listening to music. There are actually other ways to do this, but the two I mentioned are the fastest ways to get you into a positive state.

Reason #4 - Lack of Compelling Goal(s)

A to-do list is different from a set of compelling goals. Just imagine, if both of them were the same, then people high-fiving at each other when they ticked off something from their shopping list would be a common sight to see at the supermarket.

One of the things that makes a compelling goal different is the excitement that it brings once you have achieved it. Compelling goals challenge people, they stretch out one's limits, requires the development of skills, increase of knowledge and enhancement of abilities to make the goal a reality.

For example, if you want to improve your financial situation, a great first step can be opening a savings account with a bank; however, since opening an account will just take seconds to do it just becomes an item in the to-do list, not a compelling goal. A compelling goal would be to find a side hustle that will match your monthly salary.

Another example is that of a person who wants to write and publish a book. Yes, you can setup a blog that will take only minutes to do but a compelling goal would be to finish a book after two months and start publishing 1500-2000 articles daily.

If the goal is not too compelling, not inspiring or not challenging you to go beyond, then you're going to go south with the accomplishment of your New Year's Resolutions.

Reason #5 - Lack of Action

A goal will remain to be words on paper if they are not put into action. What to do to avoid it being just mere words on paper is to ensure that your goal or resolution is crystal clear in order to turn it into a reality.

The problem with taking action though is that most people are afraid of it especially if the action required is not something one has engaged in and successfully done before. This is why an action plan is deemed important. Large goals can be broken down into smaller chunks and then you make your way into accomplishing each so progress can be made.

If you ever built a snowman before, you know that a lot of effort has to be put into it to get going. You form small snowballs first by rolling them around, this would seem to be taking forever to do and you're going nowhere with it, but in the long run, you'll notice that the ball becomes bigger and you'll be needing more snow to continue to form bigger rolls.

The same strategy is applied with our goals. You'll need to act small at first, do it consistently and you'll be building momentum. Through the actions you have taken, your knowledge and experience is widened. In time you'll see that the progress toward your goals increases as well.

Taking action should not be optional. You cannot just expect your goal to be accomplished on its own. There is no way that the law of attraction will be in effect without undertaking the necessary measures on every opportunity that is presented to you. Make sure you're doing something - whether it's big or small, do something every day. No matter how small the steps you make are, if it's going to get you closer to realizing your goals or your resolutions, then do it.

Also, be wary of engaging in the same behaviour or approach as before especially if it did not work out the first time. Go and do something unusual. Don't confine yourself in a box, get out of your comfort zone and act on the things that will make you move in the direction of the accomplishment of your goals.

That's it! Now that you understand why New Year's Resolutions fail, it's time that you incorporate the steps taught here when planning your goals. I also have a goal setting playbook you might want to check out for more help. If you already have your goals set up, just adjust it accordingly so as to include the tips we mentioned in this article.

Give your New Year's Resolutions a boost by giving it the attention it deserves. It's definitely time to say goodbye at failing at your resolutions, and hello to reaching success this year and the years to come that is beyond what you can imagine.

The World Is Against Me (By Dick G Morris)

man covering face with both hands while sitting on bench

My appointment is at nine-thirty. So I have time to do a little shopping. I put on my coat, leave the house, and walk the short way to the shop.

It is a bright, clear morning, and I am certain I am going to enjoy my day.

There in only a handful of people in the shop at this hour, and nobody is at checkout. So, it is going to be easy.
I don't bother with a trolley, or a basket, because this shouldn't take long. I just want a packet of frozen fish for my lunch. I quickly find what I want, and then head for checkout.

Two people stand in front of me and before the till. This shouldn't be long, and I hope it is not: the packet of frozen fish is cold; indeed, it is freezing. It chills my right hand.

An old lady is next. She places her basket on the counter and the assistant begins to take items out. She takes three items out, charges for them, and then inspects the fourth. It is a jar of yellow something, and she cannot decide what to charge for it. She studies the packing carefully, squinting as if she suffers long sight, before finally shaking her head and smiling at the old lady. Finally, the assistant calls out to the back of the shop, for Mike, for assistance, and stares in his direction.

Where is Mike?

My hand gets colder. It begins to get numb.

I switch the packet of frozen fish from my right hand to my left.

Minutes seem to pass.

Finally, Mike comes hurrying from someplace back in the store. He joins his fellow worker and takes the jar of yellow something and examines it in turn. He shakes his head. "I don't know," he says. "Charge this lady... " He quotes a price that seems very low.

And now, at last the customer has placed the final item into her shopping bag.

And now she starts looking for her purse.

What? Now?

Didn't she have the thing ready? Ready to pay? She has waited until now to start looking for her purse?

God!

And it seems she can't find it.

You stupid woman.

I look on as the woman fiddles in the depths of her shopping bag. Ah! Now she has found it. She takes out her purse and opens it, as my left hand gets number. The woman finds her credit card. So that's it. Please go, lady. Please go. She puts her credit card away. But no. She's now fiddling with her shopping bag. Tidying the things in it. For God's sake woman! Please go!

Now, at last, she picks up her bag and leaves the shop.

Just one more shopper to go.

And then I notice what he is.

He is a bearded, bespectacled, male. And I begin to worry.

In my experience, glasses mean trouble. And beards mean trouble. And beards and glasses mean quintuple trouble.

And, yes, the male shopper begins to chat with the sales girl, holding up something he wants to purchase. He asks her something.

Her advice, it seems.

She talks to him.

For minutes...

But, it seems, he is not happy with what she has to say.

They chat on as I glance at my watch. I am going to miss the first of only two buses. I switch the packet of fish to my other hand, again.

But now, at last, the male shopper shrugs and pays for his purchases.

And now, thankfully, and at last, I pay for mine.

I leave the shop and hurry home. I let myself in, put my packet of fish in the fridge, and leave, locking the front door, for the bus stop. I have missed the bus I wanted to get, but, no matter, the service is regular: every ten minutes.

And the buses are reliable.

Until today.

I glance at my watch. No bus has come for nearly fourteen minutes.

I stare at the bend in the road in the distance. Just before this, there is a left turn, which, itself, is just in front of a very large building, a church. A car goes past me in the opposite direction. The vehicle signals to turn left, and stops, waiting. Is the vehicle coming the other way the bus I am waiting for? My eyes glued on the bend in the road, I wait and wonder how many times in the past I have watched that bend waiting for a late bus, just as I am waiting now. Then the vehicle the car is waiting for comes into view. It is a truck! And there is nothing immediately behind it because another car is turning left and not stopping for oncoming traffic.

I glance at my watch. I am going to miss my appointment. Thanks to that stupid woman. But now the bus comes. I get aboard it, pay, and take a seat. The driver moves away from the bus stop. Slowly. This bus is late! Get a move on!

At the next stop, a woman with a female companion comes aboard. They take the seat on the other side of the bus opposite mine. And they begin to chat. Both have loud, clear voices. These cut through the noise the bus is making. Indeed, the only thing I can hear is their loud clear voices. They discuss their health, or, to be more precise, their recent operations.

I have no interest in their health or their operations. Yet they continue to discuss these things in their loud, clear voices. And I pick up every word, every detail.

I glance at my watch. Why is this journey taking three times longer than it usually does?

"There were complications with my stitches... "

Shut up woman!

Now, at last, we reach the city.
But now we come to a red light.
And it takes a long time to turn orange.
"I wasn't happy with the care I got in that hospital, either... "
For God's sake, please shut up!

But now we move.
But the earlier bus is in our bay.
The bus driver stops the bus to wait for the earlier service to leave the bay.
"Oh, and I want to tell you about my hyst... "

I stifle a scream.

How many more things are going to go wrong today?

The bus in the bay reverses out in the very greatest slow motion. Then the bus I am in moves forward equally slowly. But now, at last, we reach the bay.

The bus stops.
Thank goodness.

People get up from their seats. I, some way to the rear of the bus, wait until there is a gap in the passengers passing me, and slide out of my seat. But now the passengers in the gangway in front of me stop. For a bent, crippled, white haired lady to get up from her seat. She picks up a walking stick and heads slowly down the gangway. Then she comes to the steps. She turns. To speak to the driver!

The queue of passengers waiting to get off the bus stops as the white-haired lady chats with the driver quite unaware of the people waiting behind her. I overhear a few words of their conversation. She is asking the driver about the times of the buses going back.

Come on, you stupid woman!

Ah, she has got the information she wants.

Now she is trying to get off the bus. But she is having difficulty going down the steps!

For goodness sake!

Why didn't she wait until all of the other passengers had disembarked before she tried to do so? She could then have taken as long as she had wished to talk to the driver and get off the bloody bus.

Finally, she gets off the bus and hobbles away.

Luckily, my destination is just a hundred yards down the sidewalk.

I glance at my watch. I am ten minutes late.

I hurry.

A family comes down the sidewalk towards me. A mother and a father, and two young children running ahead. One, a small boy, runs to one side of the sidewalk and so I move to the other side of the sidewalk to avoid him. But then the boy changes direction and runs directly at me. Or, to be precise, directly at my knees. This has happened to me so many times before. Especially when I am in a hurry. Do I have magnetic knees? That is the only explanation I can offer for what happens now. Magnetic knees. For that is where these small children head for. Always. My knees.

I sidestep the little brat and hurry on my way. I come to the office. I go through the revolving door and head for the secretary. She looks up.

I give her my name. "I have an appointment at nine-thirty," I say.

She consults a sheet of paper on her desk. "Ah, yes," she says. "It's with Mrs Jones-Jones, isn't it?"

"Yes," I say.

"I'm afraid Mrs Jones-Jones is running late this morning," she says. "She should be able to see you in about thirty minutes. Would you take a seat, please?"

Yes, it is a typical day.

3 Foundational Practises for Inner Joy, Fulfilment and Peace

Woman in Black Crew-neck Top Wearing White Cardigan

I would like to share with you 3 helpful practises that will help you to live joyfully in the present moment, feel a sense of Oneness and Connection with Source and all of Life.

These practises, if applied, will align you with your natural state where you can experience peace, joy, wellbeing, bliss and Oneness within and all around you.

We are all conscious beings having a physical experience in the body. What we think and believe is true will be reflected back to us through The Law of Attraction.

As Conscious Creators, we have the power to influence our experience here and as such, we also have enormous ability to be of great service to the rest of our 'selves', for we, humanity, and all living beings, are One.

So, let me dive into the 3 practises that will support your alignment as your Divine self, totally free, natural, and just happy to be alive here and now.

Appreciate Nature

We are at a cross roads in our collective evolution where people are realizing that not all is what it seems! We have the opportunity to live from a place of Oneness, to realize and wake up to our true Divine Being-ness, and to actualize our authentic selves in the world.

Our God-Is-ness always Is, we just haven't been aware of it.

One of the ways we can naturally abide in stillness, and thus re-cognize our true nature, is by being more appreciative of Nature herself. Being in nature helps us to slow down and has a calming effect on the mind.

Since we are One with Life itself, when we acknowledge and give our attention to and appreciate nature, we feel nourished and vibrant.

Being in nature rejuvenates us.

In our increasingly technological society, where we have our eyes and mind on our mobile devices for much of the day, we are forgetting to look up and around us, at the natural world.

Did you listen to/notice/feel the birdsong today?

The bird population as well as other species, has been declining and if we don't start giving our attention to nature, we might just find that one day she is empty of life forms... what a loss that would be!

As our (human) population has been increasing, we are infringing on the habitats of other species as the need for housing and feeding ourselves increases.

Nature is nurturing, relaxing and calms our nervous system.

There is an energetic field in the woodland that helps to harmonise/illuminate our own auric field. No wonder we feel so good! WE are literally glowing as we are in the most dense bio energy field available to us on the planet!

We came from nature and lived in tune with her natural rhythms.

Now we need to return to and restore the garden that we have been neglecting, within and without.

Nature is in harmony with your natur-al self.

The colour we see mostly in nature is green, the colour of the heart chakra.

Without the pulse of the heart, the pulse of the Universe, life could not be.

It is balancing for our bodies to walk in nature, in the woods, by the ocean etc.

Dear sisters and brothers, you are an Earthling!!! You are not the Borg, half man, half metal!

You are made from the cosmos, your living cells dance and vibrate every nano second.

You are designed for the natural world.

The Great Mother gives us Oxygen, the air we need to breathe. If we continue to take from her, we are literally denying ourselves and our children of a more pleasant life and natural world to enjoy.

How about giving your child an acorn instead of a mobile phone?

Are outdoor games a thing anymore?

Start appreciating nature today, you won't regret it.

What you appreciate expands. It's the law. You attract more of what you give your attention to. You can't be depressed when you're in appreciation!

Loving nature is also loving yourself!

Start appreciating nature today, she is you, and you are her.

Meditate

woman sitting on bed

Meditation is a must in re-discovering your inner most sense of Self.

When you meditate, you connect with your higher wisdom, truth and 'I Am' existence.

The real YOU is beyond your thoughts and emotions. You are ONE with the infinite eternal Mind of God. You are that.

Meditating every day will allow your mind and body to relax.

It is well documented that meditation relieves stress and helps to centre oneself.

And again, in this speedy technological daily fuzz... all these transmissions, information overload... we need to take time out, to breathe, to slow down... and just Be.

Take time to connect with your inner being/Source today.

This is your lifeline, literally.

Meditation is your opportunity to recharge, to give all concerns and worries to God/The Universe. You can ask questions of this infinite intelligence about certain things you need help with. You are never alone in that sense.

You have a Higher Power within you! Infinite Love is available at all times, to help you. This Infinite Universal mind that knows all and knows what is best for your happiness, your wellbeing, your balance. Simply ask, relax and listen.

Eat a plant based diet

As human awareness expands about the consequences of our actions in ecological terms, there is a huge movement growing towards adopting a 100% plant based diet I.e vegan.

In ecological terms, it has been proven that a plant based diet will cut our carbon footprint by as much as 70%.

A plant based diet is more benign to the planet and compassionate to animals, as well as being highly recommended for good health.

The vegan diet is respectful of life and all beings right to life. Following a plant based diet can increase our appreciation and reverence of nature.

Eating natural plant food tunes you into the natural rhythms/cycles of nature.

Plant foods, and in particular, green leafy vegetables are very alkalizing for the body. Alkalizing your body assists in calming the nervous system, which makes it easier to slow down and meditate.

I believe a plant based diet assists in having deeper meditative states.

An alkaline diet helps you drop down, and relax, so it's a helpful preparation for meditation, as well as providing a good baseline for wellbeing.

Eating a plant based diet is the compassionate way forward in our conscious-love-expanding evolution.

"We connect more with other sentient beings after we go vegan. After I was vegan for 4 years and practising presence, I had an awakening and I felt Oneness with all living beings - nature, people and animals. This knowing of the Oneness within all of life has continued within me, and is the core theme of my continued realization today" - quote from the author.

Dr Gabriel Cousens MD, plant based nutritionist and scientist, recommends eating a raw plant based diet for spiritual awakening and physical wellbeing.

There is plenty of proven evidence, health-wise and ecological wise, to support reasons for switching to a plant based diet.

I highly recommend you consider a vegan diet as one of these 3 practises for expanding consciousness and joyful wellbeing.

I believe we will be happier humans when we do not take another's freewill to live their lives away from them - quote from the author.

So, that's the 3 foundational practises for wellbeing, bliss and greater connection with yourself, life all around you, as the One Divine Being, that YOU ARE!

God is everywhere if you just look within and all around you.

We are all One, and blessed to be here on this planet at this time.

Life is a gift.

When you feel that sense of Oneness, you will know that all is One and you will feel to be of service to your other selves, by whatever theme you are inspired by!

Use your talents to express your unique being-ness in the world.

Everyone desires upliftment as well as balanced and happy role models at this time.

You will know when you are ready to do that.

You are part of this big puzzle of Life and you are an important part of the whole... you can make a difference by taking responsibility for your state of being, embracing compassion for other living beings, and living lightly on the planet.

Nature needs YOU to wake up to your untapped potential, and to use it to benefit the whole. Be the change.

We are being called to awaken to our own Divine power to create positive change. Know that you are contributing by being your authentic self.

We are remembering we are powerful Creators.

No ONE living being need be a slave no more!

It's not about handing over responsibility to the government anymore and waiting for things to change, it's now down to each one of us. Don't wait.

We are the collective and we have power!

Let's unify our vision for an awakened responsible civilisation that is kind, compassionate and giving.

Are YOU ready to wake up, evolve and shine your light?! Go to it!

Your Only Limit Is You

man standing on rock under green aurora borealis and white clouds

Nowadays, the belief that your only limit is you is an actual fact. Each day, ever more evidence comes to confirm this point as an inevitability. You should be aware that your mind is everything and controls every aspect of your life. It has even a significant influence over your body.
How is it possible? Why is your mind creating limits? How can you get past those boundaries?

To begin with, your body hears all things your mind thinks or says. So, if your mind, for example, can talk your body into feeling right or wrong, what else can it do and what power does it have? Have you ever paid attention to the way you speak to yourself? What does it look like?

The difference is how you look at the glass, is it half empty or half full? You see, when you think about it, your only limit is you. Perhaps you have never actually considered this small distinction as necessary before. However, it can make an enormous divergence in what you achieve in life. Only because when you believe that you cannot, you put a limit on your potential.

The fact is that when you let your thoughts wander, and your mind consider that there are limits, you start to get doubts. Therefore, you think your glass is half empty, and you tell yourself that you cannot. Then, of course, what unfolds is that you begin to believe that you cannot indeed.

You declare stories to yourself which in turn your mind believes, and it then shows that the only limit is you, just you. These fictions are internalized, and they slowly become part of your identity. You have to be careful of which stories you are feeding yourself because they will start to reflect in your life and your outcomes.

The Only Limit Begins in Your Mind
To get rid of any limit, you have to establish in your mind that what you desire is stronger than anything else you want. Then, you have to burn the bridges behind you and say once and for all that this is it. That way, you have no retreat and no choice but to continue all the way to achievement.

To go for what you want is not so hard if you are determined, but to stay motivated is what is challenging. It is quite easy to dream big when your dreams are just in your head. The only limit comes when you have to do the tough things such as the everyday grind, the perspiration, and the hard work.

Your only limit is you since there is a lot of power in determination. So, you have to begin to pay attention to the way you talk to yourself and get control of it so that the stories start to be positive. Your mind and body will respond, and limits will fade away. You will begin to have better outcomes. In turn, it then attracts good things and better people to your circle. As a result, you start to realize that the only limit is you and believe that you can do anything you set your mind to do.

The Only Limit Is You
You are not stuck, incapable or without talents. To learn and know more, you can read a book, take a class, then move on to the next thing, because you are not a victim of your circumstances. You get to decide if the only limit is you. So, make a conscious choice to move the needle in an area of your life that has been frustrating you.

You have to be dedicated, committed and willing to struggle through the learning process. Do not back down from a challenge. One of the greatest ways is to remember why you are doing it in the first place. Whether your objective is to get fit, be a champion, learn a new thing, or start a business, it does not matter.

If there is something that you decided to go for; then there is a reason you decided to go for it. And yes, at times, it is going to be hard as hell. It even going to feel impossible sometimes, but you have to recall why you are doing it. You have to remember that you do have all the skills you need and that the only limit is you.

Believing in Yourself Tears Down Limits
Accomplishment is your duty, your obligation, and your responsibility. You have to forget and let go of what other people think or tell you; it is their mind talking, not yours. Listen to yourself instead. And know that you cannot better yourself if you come with excuses why other people are successful. It is a dangerous game to think that you have limits.

Believing in yourself is the best thing you can have as it tears down any doubt you might have. It is hard to get over doubts even you do not believe in yourself, and it cripples you. Disbelief, uncertainty, and doubt are things that make everything else seem impossible. So when you realize that your only limit is you, you find a way to believe in yourself again and therefore, nothing can stop you anymore.

There is no escape; everybody has a hard road. But your mind is everything. If you do not believe you can do something, then you cannot. You have to fight to get greatness. It is like having to save your own life. Nobody is going to do it or save it for you.

Limit and the Power of the Mind
You got to give everything you have to get where you want to be. Dwelling and crying won't help a bit. If you quit, you are going to lose. When you have a resolution, and I am not talking about a New Year resolution, but a real one, something to accomplish, you have the resolve, and you know that it is going to happen.

So, your only limit is you. If you are ambitious, you have to show it. You have to push yourself to do your very best and go beyond your limits. You have to understand what giving everything looks like. In life, it is always up to you. Just know and believe that tremendous power rests in your hands. It does not matter if you are a king or a slave, you have power, and that is the power of your mind.

You should take an honest look at your life. See and realize that as humans, we are conditioned to delude ourselves, even lie to ourselves by not taking a good look at the results we are getting. If you do so, ask yourself if you are actually living the way you want to live.

Eliminating Any Limits You Have
Work, determination, discipline, and ethics eliminate fear, doubts and the limit you have which is you. You have to go for what you want with everything you got. Take a risk because later on, you will look back and you can say: "I used the most out of this day as I possibly could." And that is what living is.

It is better to reach for the moon, and land among the stars, than not aim at all. It is better to try and fail, than not try at all. The reason being is that you do not want to live with the idea of what would have happened if you just tried. Your destiny is in your hands, and you have to go after it.

Again, the only limit is you because if you are convinced you are going to fail, fall or get hurt, it will come to fruition. It is what you are visualizing. You have to be willing to fail but do not ever imagine yourself failing. It is what stops a lot of people, and that is really what separates people from accomplishing or being what they could truly be.

Knowing Your Only Limit Is You
At some point, their mind says "Oh no, I cannot do this. I am incapable of doing it. I probably get hurt or fail in the process." But if you approach anything you want to achieve with that hesitation, you will inevitably fail. Instead, you should approach it like it is going to work and that you can figure it out, no matter what it is, even if it takes you months or years.

You have to believe you can do it because your only limit is you. Mohamed Ali, way before he became a legend, told everyone what was going to happen as he said he was going to be the next world boxing champion. When you do think that way, it is an all different ball game.

A lot of people do not get the fact that the only limit is themselves. But it is your life, your moment and it does not matter what you have been through. You are the only one who can make the decision. If you want something great in life, you have to make sacrifices and do things that most people are not willing to do.

By knowing that your only limit is you, you can use your determination to take action and do so. You have to prepare and get ready to get to the top by looking at the summit and not to the bottom. You have to be inspired and keep striving to be the best you can be. So, I wish you great success!

Fixing Your Life Is Like Fighting a Hydra

How often do you have problems in your life? Like buses, you can go ages without one then three arrive at once. This is because problems are cunning, clever predators. They hunt in packs. If you focus on sorting out your finances, your relationship dramas loom in the background.

It's the most depressing game of Whack-a-Mole of all time. Bop one problem and three take its place.

How do you go on when nothing seems to help?

In Greek mythology, there's the mighty Hydra. When you cut off a head from the terrifying serpent, two grow to replace it. So, do you keep swinging? It's hard to, when every effort only makes things worse.

So, do you give up? Lay down your sword and let the Hydra devour you?

Or do you look for a better solution?

The answer to the Hydra problem is fire. Cut off the head, then cauterise the wound. Deal with the problem and stop it returning. That's fine for battling a regenerating serpent, but how can you do the same thing in your life?

The fire trick deals with the problems at their source. The heads aren't the problem; they're the symptom. The real problem is the Hydra itself.

Just as all problems in your life have a common cause.

Sometimes it's obvious. For example, a lack of confidence can undermine your career, business and love life. And it's usually pretty obvious when this is the case. Other causes can be harder to spot.

The good news is that you don't have to identify them to treat them.

I worked with a client who had problems. That's how he defined them: "problems". To him, they were like a big, black, swirling cloud. He knew they were bad, but each was so intertwined with the others that he couldn't make sense of any of them. And he had no clue on how to even start resolving it.

This is common when your problems hunt in packs.

The solution?

I asked him to explore the cloud of problems. This takes patience, as it can be slow work. It also takes discipline. If you succumb to thinking bad thoughts about the problems... well, you've just created a new one. You need to observe the problems critically and with detachment, like a curious scientist exploring some aspect of the natural environment.

This allowed him to strip away the fog and reveal a small seed. This seed was the source of his problems - the common factor behind all his current anxieties, woes and missteps.

What was this seed and how did he resolve it? Finding out was not easy. But, since this was just one obstacle, it was easy to get started.

This is how you fix your problems. Like fighting a hydra, you can't rely on brute force. You have to be smart.

Are you curious about how I stripped away the fog of problems? It's quite a simple and fun technique, once you know how. I explain everything you need to know to apply it to your own life in this month's Awakened Thought.

Imagine being able to resolve emotional blockages in a few moments of thinking. You can experience more than relief as it frees up your energy to focus on what you want in life.
