Prosperity Requires A Mindset That Drives Your Passion To Action.

The real power driving your level of prosperity is a matter of passion and persistence along with one other ultimate determining factor.

We all know you can't do anything without money or by trading something of value. Hard work can get you money, but there's a limit to how much work you can mentally or physically do or tolerate.

Consequently, your total money and wealth is limited and rarely increases over time, unless you apply additional factors.

That fact stops many people and businesses in their tracks and often leads to failure or at least an attitude of, "It's the best I could do."

The good news for people and for businesses is that there is no lack of opportunities in any economy to quickly improve your financial status. The problem for those who disbelieve that unlimited opportunities exist for making money is one of eyes that don't see and ears that don't hear.

Nobody is standing in line to teach you or prove to you there are more than enough options available to improve your financial circumstances.

Fortunately, most people and businesses have an open mind for discovering other ways to increase their income. Their difficulties arise with skepticism, inability to recognize real opportunities, lack of self- confidence, and lack of an ability to create a new mindset.

The mindset is a fixed belief about something or a conviction that nothing can be any better than their original belief patterns that got them this far.

The definition of prosperity is not limited to wealth or money. It is defined as a successful, flourishing, or thriving condition. Prosperous is defined as having, or characterized by, financial success or good fortune.

How does one create a new mindset?

You need a "prosperity" mindset which opens doors for you that are beyond your imagination. Even for accomplishing this goal, there are requirements that need to be met. You have to give yourself permission to change ideas, thought patterns, actions, and expectations because your unconscious behavior is to try to prevent changes.

1. Your mental training begins with your personal virtues which are necessary to set yourself apart from all the others and will immediately allow you to attract prosperity. You never want to be chasing money.

Lee Milteer, widely known mindset and performance coach, describes these virtues as:

  • The Quality of Your Personal Philosophy.
  • The Quality of Your Thinking.
  • The Quality of Your Behavior.
  • The Quality of the Value You Create to Exchange for the Prosperity in the world.

It means, after you have taken a very hard look at yourself, you have reached a point where you are ready to accept these issues:

Positive thinking is one form of mindset.

  • You are worthy of receiving wealth and prosperity.
  • You do have opportunities, you just haven't recognized them yet.
  • You understand that you are capable of higher accomplishments.
  • You are able to focus on possibilities you had never thought of.
  • Your confidence, energy, and desire increases daily.
  • You don't just "think" you'll succeed, you just "know" it somehow!

2. You need to accept the fact that nothing happens without taking action on your intentions and new mindset. This involves stepping out of your comfort zone and taking some calculated and well planned out risks as all successful entrepreneurs do.

You do what you need to do to unload your previous mental baggage and plan your strategies and goals looking only at your future. This process allows you to move past any previously established conditions you might have set for yourself. The foundations for your new mindset are the result.

Every successful person understands that through the process of visualization about your goals and where they want to be in the future, they arrive at the point where you truly believe they are capable of reaching where you want to be. You believe in yourself, trust yourself, and magically understand that you are capable of doing it all.

Certain behavioral strategies cause business and money to fall back in your lap:

Money, Coins, Heart, Ruble, Euro, Handful, Economy

1. Your mental focus and behavior must be about prosperity and wealth.

You are now taking action on your plans. There are absolutely no limits to what you can create because you have unlimited options and resources right in front of you. You can now see them.

In addition, you understand that creating wealth comes from personal decisions, your own background knowledge, and actions you take, which have little to do with the state or local economy. Your abundance is a mindset that feeds your prosperity. Passion is what feeds your mindset.

"If you see yourself as prosperous, you will be. If you see yourself as continually hard up, that is exactly what you will be."

Robert Collier

What you think about every day is what drives your behavior. Others know that fact. You have to convince yourself of that.

2. Being creative propels your prosperity:

Creativeness can be learned, taught, and expanded. It's a behavior of constant vigilance for recognizing ways to improve things. You may find a different use for a product or service, use your abilities and talents in a completely different way, and see the need for a service or product that is not yet in existence.

Your conscious mind can't think of everything, every use for services or products, or ways to solve problems. But, once you start the thinking process seriously about how to accomplish something, your subconscious mind, like your bratty sister or brother, insists on getting involved in spitting out ideas.

Dr. Maxwell Maltz, author of the original book, Psycho-Cybernetics, recognized for his in-depth studies and experiences about how the mind functions, explains how the mind works. Dan S. Kennedy revised and updated the original book titled, The New Psycho-Cybernetics.

The activity called "masterminding" brings the brilliance of minds together and their thoughts shared. Sitting around a table with others discussing how to solve a problem is the most effective means of finding solutions.

Each person mentally digs into his or her memory banks, experiences, and imagination for ideas that are not the same as every other person sitting there. The benefit of ideas from multiple minds can't be overstated.

3. Negativity is a brain-eating animal that destroys ambition:
Wreath, Girl, Field, Flowers, Witch, Sun, Rye, Harvest

The very high probability of "negative thinking" by those around you being able to directly influence your ideas and thinking process, is well known. Such people do not understand, nor are ever able to recognize, that there is another dimension of thought that improves life, called positive thinking.

Stay away from negative thinking people who predictably will stomp on every good idea you ever have about improving your life.

Positive thinking people are constantly supportive of new ways of thinking and doing things. Being around that kind of person multiplies your energy, ambitions, and actions. That frame of mind inspires you to expose yourself to the sequence of steps leading to maximizing your true potential in life.

4. The integrity trap:

As you move up the ladder to prosperity and wealth, you will increasingly discover that those around you try to influence you to get off your chosen path. You must guard yourself from straying away from your goals and principles. Maintain your trust and belief in yourself and your ideas.

It doesn't mean you won't consider new ideas others offer you. Just don't let them become directly involved in your decisions, because they will try. Once you let them in on your decisions, you will let down your emotional barriers and expose yourself to increased stress.

It causes you to unconsciously begin depending on someone else for your success. And that "hybrid" success that happens in the wake of sharing will never be satisfactory for you.

Steve Jobs, recent CEO of Apple Computers, phrased it this way:

"Your time is limited, so don't waste it living someone else's life. Don't be trapped by dogma-which is living with the results of other people's thinking. Don't let the noise of others' opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition."

Make prosperity happen in your life because you've earned it:

There is such a strong tendency for you to try to make prosperity impossible for yourself to achieve by being reminded of the negative factors that we all face on this journey. You will find that these negative influences become fewer and fewer as you continue to move upwards.

Fear is the primary obstructive emotion. As your confidence increases, as it will, fear becomes less of a problem for you. The many facets of fear gang up on you at times. But, overcoming fear is something you will learn to handle, one aspect of fear at a time.

Elements of fear that most of us have to some degree:

  • Fear of failure.
  • Fear of wasting money.
  • Fear of making the wrong choices.
  • Fear of disappointing family and friends.
  • Fear of never being able to recover from failure if it happens.
  • Fear of not having enough competence to do everything.
  • Fear of not having the knowledge or training needed.
  • Fear of never reaching your ultimate goal.
  • Fear of being able to find help when you need it.
  • Fear of how to handle your success when it happens.

"Do the thing you fear, and the death of fear is certain." ---Ralph Waldo Emerson

The stumbling block of fear is overcome by your passion to reach any realistic goal you choose. In most cases prosperity is required to get there.

Your mindset for prosperity begins with a passion to accomplish what ever is required to reach an affordability level for the lifestyle that gives you persistent satisfaction and enjoyment.

Passion is what you develop when you can visualize your affluent future in the theatre of your mind. Repeated engagement with expansion of that mental picture eventually becomes a real belief that you do have the capability of reaching that objective. Once you believe you can do it, passion takes over and drives what you do and think after that. This driving force you feel is the mindset you need for success.

Remember that this doesn't happen overnight. Be patient as you see the progress you are making, just don't force your progress.

The remarkable thing about this process is that your self-confidence increases to the point when you realize you have capabilities far beyond those you once thought you had. Everyone tends to underestimate their talents and skills. This is where your driving passion uncovers capabilities you never dreamed you had. At this juncture success is inevitable and it rises to a level you choose.
