We live in a world of laws, and it is the key law of the universe that I wish to tell you about today, and that is the Law Of Attraction. You see, the LoA states that whatever you think about most dominantly in your mind you will begin to attract into existence. For example, have you ever longed to see an old friend? I mean, thought about this person almost to the point of obsessing over them for days on end and out of the blue someone else begins to talk about that person, or even better, they call you up to talk out of the blue? Now, all that obsessing and thinking simply created that situation into happening. You, through the secret law of attraction brought that into your life.

Obviously, that may have gone way over your head if you haven't heard this before, I would ask that you stick with me through this article and I promise you will be in a happier mood than when you began this journey of personal growth.

Your thoughts put out frequencies into the world, these frequencies have vibrations (you've heard of good vibes?) which will begin to attract anything else of the same likeness, being that all things are in constant motion and vibrating matter. You can begin to feel happy and excitement and like a magnet you will begin to attract the things that you want in life, cars, homes, and health.Though, the opposite is true if you are thinking negative thoughts, say for instance, you are thinking bitter and angry thoughts of debt and incompetence, you will naturally attract more debt, being that you are putting all your focus and thought on the word, "debt."

What do you really want in life, where do you see yourself, what are you doing? I would ask that you write it down and visualize yourself already having the things that you want, that's right, see them in the present tense and in doing so you affirm it to yourself. The universe is like a catalog, endless and full, use it to your full advantage, this is your life we're talking about. Remember to feel excited and joyful when doing this exercise. Passion allows things to manifest even faster, being that you are revving up the vibrations.

3 Steps To Take:


  • Ask - You will attract like a magnet the things you need in life if you use a laser like focus to contemplate them day in and day out.
  • Believe - Know with unending faith that you will have this want, in the time that is perfect for you.
  • Receive - The last step is to receive the things you need with a wonderful and loving gratitude, being so joyful that you didn't get discouraged and had self-doubt.

Many pessimistic people like myself have a hard time with this at first, freaking themselves out by learning the power of the secret. Pessimist's know that their thoughts always run towards the negative realm of ideas and situations. Hope is around the corner in the fact that scientists have proven that a positive thought is hundreds of times more powerful than a negative thought, so, understand that when you train your mind to become an optimist (over time, through personal development) and you develop a passion for the things you desire it will manifest more quickly than if it were a negative thought and action. So, remember to give your positive thinking a tune-up if it has been on the back burner for a while.

Another good thing about the Law of Attraction is that the universe has a time delay switch for the thoughts that you put into it. That's to say that, not everything will manifest from your thoughts all at once, it would be terrible if you thought about flock of seagulls ruining your party and within seconds they appeared and started relieving themselves everywhere. If you think a bad thought here and there, don't be too alarmed.

With the hundreds of thousands of thoughts you have throughout the day, this may all seem too overwhelming to you, are you wondering how to keep track of all those thoughts, and how to rid all the bad thoughts? Simply put, our thoughts give off feelings inside our minds and bodies, this is an easy way that the universe gave us to have and idea about what we are creating in our life and for our future, i.e. good results.

Depression, Anger, Self Doubt, Anxiety.

Remember, you get what you are feeling about, not what you are thinking about. Feeling comes from the core of your body and is a more accurate gauge on what will manifest. If you are feeling terrible, having a no good day, your day will continue to spiral downwards until guess what? Until you put a stop to that terrible feeling and shift your emotions more positively to create a wonderful change for your entire day.

Recommended Tasks To Help Get Out Of Your Bad Mood:

Turn on happy music.

Play with your family pet.

Go for a walk / run.

Read.

Write a list of all the things that you are grateful for.

Have fun with this, enjoy yourself, try different things. One of my favorite things to do is lay in bed at night and think of all the things I am grateful for and when I am emotionally high I think long and focused on the one thing I want most. Now, it is easier for some to start with small things, like I maybe more followers on your blog or subscribers, set a number and focus on it.

It is not uncommon to see many couple fighting over irrelevant issues that allows both parties to stand ground and let their ego take over the arguments. It can be related to mental insecurities because of a previous relationship and the present argument triggered these feelings. We all have to choose our battles and focus on what is really important to argue about. It is totally normal not to see eye to eye on EVERYTHING, and we all have our own ways of doing things that might not be in sync with your significant other OR your business partner. No need to be alarmed at all. It would actually be very concerning if you do agree on EVERYTHING. This is when something is definitely wrong. Communication is key and should be paramount to make things flow progressively. When something is felt at a specific moment in time, holding it in will ONLY aggravate the matter and in many cases, can augment to a point when the individual's behavior is so erratic that it can require asylum assistance. Never let it go to that point. Express yourself but not when angry and emotionally drained. Both parties have to step back for a little while, let yourself calm down and only then, approach each other in a very civilized and serene way to address the problem. Remember that the other person doesn't know how you are feeling if you do not communicate it well so it is not fair to dump everything you feel on that person.

All humans, or I should say, MOST humans have feelings and their erratic behavior is not there to punish the other person. We all express ourselves differently and it is important to understand the other person and empathize with how they feel. Never judge or justify why they feel a certain way. As long as you listen and carefully analyze each words without interruption, I am sure you can both arrive to a productive conclusion and allow each other to grow closer and happier. When you choose to be with that person, you choose them the way they are, and NOT the way you wish them to be. If you can learn to accept them as a whole, you will suddenly see the relationship differently and start opening your eyes to address arguments more efficiently. We are constantly learning about new ways to communicate, either using technology or face to face. Research on human behavior will NEVER end, and that is because humans adapt to their environment and their mental state have to change to properly function in society. Humans are NOT website templates, or plug and play like hardware in computer. There is a lot of customization to be done and understanding that part will allow you to create new plug-ins (just like WordPress) and study them carefully so you can create the ideal situation that works for both of you. So by understanding my analogy, humans need acceptance and by allowing self expression and proper communication, we will be able to take a step forward to peace and serenity on our Planet.

I can tell you it didn't immediately feel wonderful when my internet went down. Again! After I'd already had three service techs come out in one week [including one appointment that lasted more than 3 hours], each one assuring me I would have no more issues. It didn't immediately feel wonderful. In fact, my stomach was in knots and I felt awful.

But the thing is I can't stand to feel awful anymore. It's just not OK anymore.

So I did what I coach my clients to do - Step back and ask: "What's perfect about this?"

Determined to feel better, I breathed, chanted and sincerely asked "What IS perfect about this situation I do not like?" In addition to sweet relief, I got these answers:

*I can practice Feeling Good No Matter What.

This is the muscle I most want to strengthen. I want to be the kind of Conscious Creator who can notice something unwanted and immediately DECIDE to be OK. Feeling good inside is SO much more important to me than external conditions.

*I can remember I am never required to feel bad.

There is NO situation that requires me to sit in prolonged suffering. The first thing to remember when something unwanted happens is that I have a choice in how to respond. I am the decision maker for my life and I get to choose!

*I can practice rising above unwanted circumstances.

It feels good to take my power back and shift my focus. It feels good to know I have the ability to raise my vibration and feel good regardless of conditions.

*I can appreciate what I DO have and what IS working well.

Appreciation is always helpful in climbing back up the emotional scale.

*I can remember that feeling good is the most important thing.

My desire to feel good is the reason I want the reliable internet service or any other condition anyway.

I get it. Sometimes expecting ourselves to find something perfect in truly dire circumstances is a stretch. At those times, a softer question such as, "What wonderful thing will come of this?" might be easier. We can all remember unwanted situations that turned into something truly valuable.

Another good question to ask and answer is, "How can I feel good even under these conditions?" [A takeaway from my first Abraham-Hicks workshop, May 2005 in Asheville, NC.]

What's perfect about this?

How can I feel good even under these conditions?

These questions enable me to quickly find my way back to feeling good no matter what.

Everything that happens is a gift bearing the opportunity for higher levels of joy and empowerment within. I accept that I simply can't expand without real world opportunities in which to practice.

Each time I choose to feel good no matter what, I raise my dominant vibration - which makes it quicker and easier to find my way back when contrast brings its next gift.

Each time I choose to protect my vibration as my most precious treasure,life becomes more fun and more joyful.

As Abraham reminds us: "If you had one goal, and that was to feel good, you would never again need to hear another word from anyone. You would live successfully and happily and in a way of fulfilling your life's purpose ever after."

Build credibility. Show concern and involvement in the welfare of others, but don't indulge. Keep up the promises and assurances made earlier. Make it a point to attend, if feasible, all the social functions and mingle with others. Raise genuine doubts to get noticed by all people.

Instil confidence. Any action or word spoken should be the outcome of decisive thoughts. Convince the people in every way to claim their strength and support. Sincerely appreciate the good works of others and don't forget to give the credit due to them.

Promote goodwill. Organize camps for social awareness and medical check-ups. Get involved in social activities and charities to spread happiness and harmony in the society. Forget and forgive the mistakes of others.

Synchronize with Nature. Do the routines like eating, sleeping, etc. on time to maintain good health and remain cheerful. Timeliness is essential to keep the body fit and put up a smile that infuses confidence in the atmosphere.

"Don't Get Your Hopes Up!" We've heard that advice all our lives. Family, friends, books and movies have all warned us not to get our hopes up. It's part of our popular culture. You may even say it yourself, but did you ever think about what you're saying?

Don't Get Your Hopes Up is possibly the worst guidance ever. It's advising us not to hope and not to have desires - which can only result in a low vibration.

Like most people, I absorbed this teaching by osmosis. I also remember when I said it for the last time.

I was in my 20's and I was telling my brother about a job I really wanted, adding that I'm not getting my hopes up about it. Whereupon my older, wiser brother - who had by that time studied Eastern philosophy in India - pointed out how stupid I was being - as only a sibling can! He went on to explain why not getting my hopes up is ridiculous. Thank you, dear bro, for waking me up.

So why IS it ridiculous to avoid getting our hopes up? Besides the fact that it's unnatural to quash our hopes and dreams and besides the fact that it keeps our vibration low, it's all fear-based.

It's based on some crazy fear that if we don't get what we're hoping for, we'll end up feeling disappointed. But I ask you, is disappointment really too much to bear? Isn't disappointment a part of life that most of us learned by age 5 is survivable?

Here's the most significant thing. To refuse to get our hopes up is to ignore the Law of Attraction. Because hope is a high vibration. Because the power of hope and positive expectation actually help us attract what we want. Because hope works for us, not against us!

Plus, I hasten to add, hope feels good! Refusing to be hopeful is a missed opportunity to feel good. And, since we know that feeling good is the best way to attract what we want, refusing to hope is like shooting yourself in the foot.

If you don't get what you want, you'll live; you'll grow; you'll get greater clarity; something better will come along. But if you continue suppressing your hope, you won't live well.

And one more thing. Refusing to get our hopes up does not guarantee we'll avoid disappointment. In fact, refusing to hope sets us up for disappointment.

Two questions:

*Do you want it?

*Will you allow yourself to have it?

If yes and yes, then absolutely do get your hopes up. Get them up as high as possible. Ride the high vibrational energy of positive expectation and enjoy the journey. If it doesn't happen, so what? Focus on the next desire with all the hope you can muster. And keep hope alive!

So what do you do in the meantime? You are excited about your new purchase and can't wait for the post office to deliver it to you. Now, do you GO back online and RE-ORDER the same exact product in the fear that the store haven't taken care of your purchase? Do you call them 5 minutes after your online confirmation to make sure your credit card has been charged or you are confident enough that the item will be shipped and arrive safely to destination? I guess it's the latter right? This is exactly how it should work when you put up your thoughts to the Universe and let the Universe process your order and allow manifestation of these thoughts.

Time is in your favor when it comes to allowing great things happening. Success doesn't happen overnight, and it takes time and energy and hard work to reach the summit of your career. During that journey, you will F.A.I.L (First Attempt In Learning) and will recover from this failure no matter what it takes because you can do that. We adapt to our environment and can move on towards bigger and better things. We need to control our own fears and not allow it to control us. It is important to always be ready to accept whatever comes our way and learn to change things around so we can focus on what is ahead. This is YOUR life and you have every right to decide the path you want to take. Never allow anyone to take control of your destiny, because NO one deserves that power, except yourself.

Are You Designing Your Life Or Simply Reacting To It?

Living by merely reacting to everything that occurs around you could be thought of as "living by default" or "living on luck." Living a life of reaction is difficult and dissatisfying. Individuals who choose to live this way only have access to random events. They're mainly driven by discomfort and avoid producing their own opportunities.

On the other hand, developing, or creating, your life is more assertive, gratifying, and controllable!

Think about these concepts to create your life instead of just reacting or responding to it:

1. You'll understand you're responding if the quality of your life varies in between bad and tolerable. This is the dead giveaway of responding.

You'll jump into action when your comfort falls below a particular standard. You'll strive to bring it back up to a bearable status. Then you'll relax again, just taking further action when the circumstance ends up being alarming once again.

2. Failing to select a direction for your life is choosing to fail. Without a selected endpoint, there is no objective. Without an objective, you'll get whatever just happens to come your way. People with wonderful lives didn't arrive at that point on accident. Be brave enough to pick a course and stick with it.

3. Discover the power of visualization. Visualization is powerful on numerous levels:

Visualization forces you to identify what you want. You should decide before you picture anything.

5. Exactly what could be more fulfilling than producing a life that influences and thrills you? Reacting to life consists of resolving one problem after another. Who wants to invest in their life doing little more than dealing with unneeded difficulties or passively waiting for the next issue to appear? Living in this manner welcomes tension and unpredictability. Produce the life you desire instead!

6. It won't happen automatically. There's been excessive focus lately on the concept of enabling the universe to provide the results you want while you wait patiently on the sofa. Perhaps you know somebody who woke up one morning to a brand new Porsche in their driveway, but it's highly unlikely.

When you're clear on what you desire, you'll have the opportunity to take inspired action to obtain it. You'll notice opportunities to be successful and take advantage of them.

7. Respond to obstacles with purpose rather than automatically reacting to them. Instead of just responding to the issue at hand, avoid future reoccurrences. Most of the difficulties you have today are the same ones you have actually been dealing with many times in the past. Weigh your options so you can prevent the same issues from happening in the future. Making the same mistake consistently is foolish and unnecessary.

Choose today to pick the kind of life you wish to enjoy. Remind yourself of your choice by picturing it routinely. Benefit from the opportunities that you discover. Prevent living by default and develop the life you prefer and should have!

How To Make The Law Of Attraction Work For You (By Kathryn Corbin)

One of my stellar clients [they're all stellar!] wrote on his Session Prep Form that he had received yet another promotion at work and his co-workers were teasing him about "building an empire."

He also said co-workers have been asking him how he does it, i.e., how he continues to receive promotions and expand his team and excel at a pace that is unfamiliar for most. Plus, he's only 31 years old and most of his direct reports are significantly older.

I don't think they were really expecting an answer and probably wouldn't have understood his real answer anyway, but I asked him the same question. How do you do it? He acknowledged that as an excellent question and promised to think about it and let me know what he came up with at the following week's session.

He decided it had to do with deliberate focus and positive expectation. He said he is very deliberate about what he wants and makes sure his desires are backed up by belief.

I totally agree with him about those two and I would add one more - feel good. In fact, I'd put feeling good first.

As we continued our discussion, it occurred to me that these three steps apply to more than this client getting a promotion at work. They actually apply to everything and are the three steps to making the Law of Attraction work for anyone.

Let's recap:

1 Feel Good. Maintaining a high vibration is essential to allowing in what you want. When you feel good, your vibration is high and you're a vibrational match to your desires.

2 Deliberate Focus. Clarity is required here. You must know what you want and you must be clear about what you want. With a clear and deliberate focus, you broadcast a laser-like signal and the Law of Attraction easily matches that signal.

3 Positive Expectation. As he told me about this most recent promotion, he said, "I knew it was coming!" He has trained himself to believe that his desires are not only possible but probable. How many times have we heard people who get in the "hot seat" at an Abraham seminar say, "I knew I would get up here!"

If you think the positive expectation part - the belief part - is difficult, it's not. We've been taught that our beliefs are set in stone, but that's not true. We now know that a belief is simply a thought you keep thinking. And you can choose to think thoughts that align with your desires.

To me, knowing that we can choose new beliefs is the most empowering information ever! Is it difficult? No! Does it take practice? Yes, it does!

The questions then become:

*Are you willing to feel good and take good care of your vibration?

*Are you willing to get clarity about what you truly desire and focus deliberately in that direction?

*Are you willing to practice thinking thoughts that align with your desires until they feel like a sure thing?

If you're willing to do these three things, you can easily and joyfully make the Law of Attraction work for you!

Taking The First Step Towards Manifesting What You Want In Life

The Universe loves specifics. You must focus on the specific thing you want. Don't just say "I want more money". Focus on the exact amount you want.

The Universe also loves speed, so make sure you are ready to take immediate action when the inspiration hits you. Being inspired to take action, then doing nothing, is unnatural, and will cause you to repel the very thing you are wanting to attract.

A quick note about manifesting money. Never, ever say that you can't afford something. In fact, take the word "can't" completely out of your vocabulary. When you say "can't", your mind shuts off from all ideas and inspiration, and you will never manifest what you want.

Manifesting the things you want and need in life is not difficult. You simply need to educate yourself, learn the basics of the Law of Attraction, and take consistent action toward what you want. Soon, you'll find manifestation to be as easy as breathing.

Do You Really Care What Other People Think Of You? (By Kathryn Corbin)

"What will the neighbors think?" That seemed to be the main concern of my parents when I was growing up.

As much as I rebelled against it at the time, and as much as that concern always felt like bondage to me, and as much as I really did see it as an example of how NOT to live, I still internalized the message that it matters VERY MUCH what other people think of me.

What I realize now is that being so concerned with what the neighbors and other people thought of us back then meant we were denying our own inner guidance and our own right to choose the best way to live and especially our own right to choose what feels good to us.

"What will the neighbors think" morphed into what will anyone and everyone - except me - think about me!!! Believing that I was constantly being judged and that it was extremely important not to be judged negatively, my connection with my True Self became tenuous at best.

While I remained in the prison of what other people think of me, my external guidance was playing at full volume and my inner guidance was often set on mute.

Subtly and stealthily, I learned to let the way other people felt about me determine how I felt about myself. Which lead to trying to get other people - especially significant others - to like me so I could like myself.

Can you imagine? Trying to get other people to like and approve of me in order to like and approve of myself!

Well, it made sense at the time. Actually, it never made sense. It just became the game I was playing. The impossible game of trying to feel good about myself while believing it matters desperately what other people think of me!

When I first heard Abraham's guidance to not give a rip what other people think, I was thrilled at the idea but I had no clue where to begin.

I had always liked the aphorism "happiness is an inside job" and decided to figure out what that actually means. I finally - halleluiah! - started looking inside to feel good. There were shaky starts and setbacks, but my True Self continued to call me to feel good from the inside out.

I set intentions, recited affirmations and practiced new beliefs. Most importantly, I made friends with my Inner Being and decided if my Inner Being and I feel good about me, that's enough for me.

Now, with rare exceptions, I celebrate each day that:

I Feel Good from the Inside Out and

I No Longer Need Other People or Circumstances

To Make Me Feel Good!

And that, my friend, is #freedom!

If you take it easy, the Almighty force will be merciful and let you lead your life your way. If you resist or can't tolerate it, this Almighty force will throw more challenges your way. So, remember to be sober and humble. These two qualities will keep you safe from all hard knock downs or challenges.

Remember who you are and what you were meant to do in this life. Work smart and contribute something to your world every day. Every person on this fertile earth should have a life purpose. Carry it out and most of all, love doing it.

Never say this or that will never happen to you. Anything in any way can happen to anybody. So don't be so sure of yourself. Stay calm and work what you love doing quietly. You will be blessed. Yes, that's right what you just read. I repeat: YOU WILL BE BLESSED.

You also need to love people around you- your family, relatives, neighbors, friends and colleagues. If for any reason you dislike someone, keep your distance and hardly communicate with them.

This is one thing you should always remember: Life does not remain the same for somebody for too long. If you are in pain either because of a loss or some ailment, things will get better. If you are too contented with life, the challenges will start to set in. So in that case do not be too harsh on yourself. You need to love yourself as much as you need to with others.

That way, you are fine. Life is all about joy and sorrow and they come by turns. So make sure you understand this philosophy of life and therefore, do not, by any chance, take your happiness for granted.

I do not encourage you to worry and rob your moments of joy. Just be in the knowhow change will set in and still stay in the present and enjoy. After all, every single person on this earth was born to be happy and enjoy life. So don't fret too much and I encourage you to go ahead and enjoy!!

Happiness Really Is An Inside Job

Sure, I could say all of the standard things about the law of attraction, and I will do some of that. First, though, I will take a moment and tell you in a crazy way to be grateful for your life if you are living it right now. Indeed, you could be one of those unhappy people that makes the news and it could be worse for you if you are living a normal and blessed life now. For, the truth is that life is as good as we make it, and as long as everything is going reasonably well, happiness is an inside job. More on that in a moment.

First though, I would like to go into this territory: This morning, I woke up angry that a cell phone of mine was not charged properly/not plugged in right. Then, in that basic problem moment, I realized that it was not a "big deal", and that I would be as happy about what was going on as I made up my mind to be. I charged the cell phone in fifteen minutes, sure. That is not the point. I read a book on my Kindle until it was charged patiently and happily, but still, that is not the point.

The point is, I used my mind and spirit to deal patiently with the situation instead of letting it affect me, and I made my whole day wonderful through that same application of mind and spirit. Here is the catch though, I find myself rising like that every day and I will put it this way: If anything said about Abraham Lincoln being a patient and steadfast man was true, real and not myth, I will say this: "I understand you brother Abe. We all are as happy as we make up our minds to be."

Despite this finally coming out of me as an article, these feelings about life are finally coming out of me. Through patient development, and real life experiences to back it all up, it is all finally coming out of me.

Life for most people is a mess of plans not going right, I understand. Well, look at plans this way: Plans are guides, not set in stone. Plans are made not to be followed to the letter to go perfectly, they are guides like a flight plan that gets adjusted all the time until the plan objective is fulfilled and getting focused on objectives is always better than getting stuck on plans, because of that realistic flight plan approach working better than unrealistic wanting it all to be "perfect" all the way through. Indeed, that is what the term "perfection is a mind created concept anyway" really means. If you can stomach all this reality, you can take anything and make it great.

Cakra Meditation For Personal Development

Cakras are wheel-like vortices within the body that spins and through which energy flows. They are energy centers that determine your health spiritually and physically. It is important therefore to ensure the health of the cakras to keep the energy flowing.

There are seven major cakras that you need to know about. Starting at the tail bone is the Root cakra. This energy center is responsible for your basic survival needs. When it is not in balance, you will feel insecure, unsafe and unhappy.
