How to Appreciate the Little Things in Life

Many little things happen around in everyday life. Do you let them pass by or do you take time to appreciate? There is every reason you should value them and not ignore them. Why? Read on.

Here goes a few pointers that remind you of what little things in life are like:

  1. Watch the sunset or sunrise and capture them in your smart phone.
  2. Remember something your little daughter or granddaughter said that made you laugh.
  3. Watch in awe the photo of puppies somebody posted on social media and write a comment or two about how you loved to see them.
  4. Buy your friend and yourself cups of Starbucks coffee and drink and enjoy the view around from the balcony.
  5. Share pictures of places you visited before you met your hubby with him and laugh, smile and reminisce.
  6. Take your pair of roller skates and go ahead skate near about your home with your sibling laughing, enjoying and talking.
  7. Accept warmly the present your best friend gives you on your birthday and treasure it because you may not be in the same place as her's for a long time.
  8. Appreciate that your son enjoys collecting stamps as a hobby and encourage him all the way.
  9. Appreciate the mansion your hubby has bought for you and family and give a hand delightfully to furnish and decorate it altogether.
  10. Encourage your children and their families to go on a world cruise with you and your hubby and have the time of your life.
  11. Record all the fun events at home and work in your journal and recall them five years from now. You really will feel good and blissful.
  12. Give your niece a beautiful flower from your garden and help her tie it to her hair and capture a photo of you with her in front of the garden.
  13. Give time to your little children one lazy afternoon and help them make various handicrafts out of colored paper and glue. Take snapshots of them and post them on social media, saying how great your weekend was.
  14. Buy a family size pizza and pass it around. Put on music. Have fun.
  15. If you have subscribed to any newsletter(s), appreciate when they send you free gifts or freebies that excite you and let them know so by writing a few lines as a "Thank You" note.
Summing up, the above are all examples of little things you can appreciate in daily life and remain happy. You can take snapshots or journal them as I have already mentioned in order to seize the moments. Now is the time to hold them dear because if you don't, you will regret them considerably much later and you will even think then they were big things - all out of pace, out of touch and difficult to remember. So take your time and get along with all the little things in life and value them close to your heart and be contented. Gotcha?

8 Reasons to Stop Worrying Now

Worrying...

  1. Consumes energy. Devote all that energy to yourself instead of investing in creating and accumulating adrenaline and cortisol.
  2. Results in sleeping problems. You need the rest to face whatever it is that really ends up happening in the future.
  3. Focuses on the future. Instead of living here, today, you're so focused on the future that you have no time to enjoy the now.
  4. The future is unknown. Therefore, you're focused on something that doesn't exist. How many times did you worry about something that never ended up happening, at least the way you feared it would?
  5. Consumes time. You spend many hours worrying. By the time you manage to return to something that is not worrying you, a lot of time has elapsed; time that could have been used more productively or to have more fun.
  6. Blocks you. When you try to redirect your mind to something else, your mind goes back to the issue that's worrying you over and over again, thus blocking you from doing anything else.
  7. Distracts you. By diverting your attention from other things, you can't fully focus on them. The issue that worries you distracts you from other, more immediate topics.
  8. Produces anxiety. Focusing on something that has no solution (and nothing in the future really does) only leads to increased levels of anxiety from a lack of resolution and uncertainty.
Next time you find yourself worrying over something, ask yourself what you're achieving. Isn't there anything else you'd rather be doing or thinking about?
If you really need to PLAN, there are better ways of doing it. These are a few of the tips I recommend you consider when planning in order to stop worrying:

  1. Set a goal. What is it that you need to plan? What will you make you feel you actually have a plan? Define what your real objective is and what steps you're going to take to reach it.
  2. Set your limits. What level of detail do you need to plan? How much improvisation and adaptation will you allow yourself? One can plan and plan and plan, always looking to define more and more details. But there comes a time in which that level of detail is not realistic anymore, as chances are that our plans will not happen the way we're imagining. So, how far into the details do you want to go?
  3. Allocate a fixed amount of time. What is the maximum time you're giving yourself to plan this? Set a fixed time and don't go over that time, even if you didn't finish your plan. If more time is needed, decide when you will work on your plan again, and for how long. In between working times, no planning is allowed. You will only plan during those pre-assigned times.
  4. Then relax. Once you have a plan, accept that life might change it. After all, we can't look into the future and life has this habit of surprising us... But for now, you do have a plan. It's the best plan you could make. Follow the steps you planned and allow yourself a little improvisation on the way. The rest of the time, just relax. Whenever worrying thoughts come to your mind again, remind yourself that you already have a plan.
Enjoy life... ALL of it,

How To Develop Clearer Personal INSIGHTS?

How can anyone, ever, become, the best, he can possibly be, unless/ until, he does all he can, to develop the finest, best - developed, personal INSIGHTS? I, often, refer to this, as getting yourself, a check - up. from the neck - up, which means, trying, to be truly introspective, and understand your strengths, and weaknesses, effectively using area of strength, while enhancing, and working, effectively, on areas of weakness. Instead of lying, to yourself, as so many do, doesn't it make more sense, to really identify, and understand, what makes you tick, and, how, knowing this, might assist you, in becoming the healthiest, happiest, and best, to might become. With that in mind, this article will attempt to, briefly, consider, what this means and represents, using the mnemonic approach, and why it matters.

1. Ideas; intuition; image: When one's personal intuition, becomes better enhanced, and developed, he generally, develops a finer, self - image! Only then, will you proceed, with the quality of ideas, which makes you, truly proud!

2. Needs; nuances; nerve: Do you know, what your true needs, might be? Do you possess the nerve, to proceed, with the nuances, which make you happiest? Are you aware of, what really, makes you happy?

3. Serves; strengths/ stronger: Which strengths, will best, serve, your needs, and make you the most comfortable? Are you ready, to do, what makes you stronger, on a regular basis?

4. Imagination; issues: When one optimizes his imagination, in a focused way, he addresses the true, relevant issues, in a priorities - based way?

5. Growth; greater; good: What makes you, feel good, about yourself? Will you focus on the bigger - picture, and the greater necessities of happier, healthier living? Will you, consistently, undergo personal growth, on a regular basis?

6. Hero/ heroic; healthy; happy: Shouldn't you become your own hero? Is it heroic, to proceed, forward, every day, in a somewhat, insightful, introspective, manner? Shouldn't your primary objective, be, to enjoy a happy, healthy, life?

7. True/ truthful; timely; take time: Getting better, often requires the commitment, to take the time, to consider, alternatives and options, and which, works best, for you! Be certain, you are consistently, being truthful, and, develop/ enhance those skills/ assets, to become better! When you take a true, deep look, and examine, your inner - self, with absolute insight, you will enjoy the end - results!

8. Solutions: Learn to consider, obstacles, as challenges, to overcome, rather than debilitating problems, and you will be better able, to seek the finest solutions, which are most beneficial, to you!

Our health and happiness, are achieved, when our personal INSIGHTS, make us feel, much better, about ourselves. Are you up to the task, and responsibility?

The Nostalgia and Its Impact

Some words or sentences are associated pleasantly or melancholy with individuals reminding their attachment to events and people. Nostalgia is associated with a yearning for the past; Its personalities, and events, especially the "good old days" or a "warm childhood." The past events' profoundness attached to an individual's life reverberate subconsciously invigorating his soul to reflect upon the events. What has transpired or conspired between sub-conscious and conscious state of mind is interesting to prod. I am interested in exploring its scientific, psychological and deceptive aspect rather than political tool and medical condition.

If we reflect upon nostalgia, it leads to different moods and it also stimulus personality characteristic benefiting those who experience it. Different school of thoughts, debate its impact, both positive and negative on individuals. The most important aspect of its positive impact is the existential meaning in one's life. Routledge and colleagues found that nostalgia can not only create meaning, but also buffer threats to meaning by breaking the connection between a lack of meaning and one's well-being. They subsequently concluded that nostalgic people have greater perceived meaning, search for meaningless, and can better buffer existential threat. (Routledge is a British multinational publisher, specializes in providing academic books, journals, & online resources in the fields of humanities.)

One study explains nostalgia as psychological growth; this aspect particularly reflects upon themselves as growth-oriented people. Hollywood remembers Baldwin & Landau an Oscar-winning legacy, has found that nostalgia leads people to rate themselves higher on items like, "I am the kind of person who embraces unfamiliar people, events, and places." Nostalgia also increased interest in growth-related behavior.

The other aspect of nostalgia is as a deception. One recent study critiques the idea of nostalgia, which in some forms can become a defense mechanism by which people avoid the historical facts. This study looked at the different portrayals of apartheid in South Africa and argued that nostalgia appears as two ways 'restorative nostalgia' a wish to return to that past, and 'reflective nostalgia' which is more critically aware.

Apart from the above aspects of nostalgia, a romantic variation is of no exception. In fact, it is a charm encompassed in a subtle yet opaque fading memory of love and affection. This romantic variance is captivated by its very existence. The parting of love and reading of love letters catapults a person's imagination in the wilderness of beauty and satisfaction.

In a 2014 study conducted by Routledge, he and a team observed that the more people reported having major disruptions and uncertainties in their lives, the more they nostalgically longed for the past. Routledge suggests that by invoking the idea of an idealized past, politicians can provoke the social and cultural anxieties and uncertainties that make nostalgia, especially, attractive - and effective - as a tool of political persuasion.

The above factors have unequivocally established that sentimental attachments played a dominant role in nostalgia. However, the heart and mind combined has effectively invoke positive impact rather than negative repercussions. Nostalgic feelings have pronounced effect on women than in men, compared. This is the reason a woman needs a man's shoulder to cry upon and ease their burden. This weakness in women becomes their weak link and they get carried away by men's sleazy intentions (A sizable majority of men take advantage).

Differentiating and integrating the variances of nostalgia irrespective of gender bias has its own importance. It conspicuously shows its telltale effects on individuals in their lives. The benefits are a pleasant memory and charm within the feelings which makes a person happy and provide relief to them. An Urdu couplet depicts a touchy and captivating feeling which will be remembered for years to come and it goes like this:

"Hoped I to meet my love she met in the path in such a way,

My gaze I yearn anxiously, she lowered her glance and walked unnoticed."

Brick And Mortar

We must all build our lives from the ground up, brick and mortar style. In that sense, we are all masons of our lives or spiritual builders. With that thought, I begin this article. Lately, I have personally studying for myself very deeply into the phenomena of the mind, both physical and metaphysical, and I realize one thing: Building a program within the mind takes twenty-one days or a little more, but it is possible to program the mind like a computer or a missile. What I mean to say is, like writing a somewhat complex program for an app or application, that is what it takes really about three weeks (for a good computer coder or programmer) to program the machine to do exactly what is wanted. Same with a human being in a sense. The only thing that may take longer in a human being though, is dealing with emotions and reasoning, but other than that, the same principle works in the same way.

So, line one in a program is like days one through seven in programming a mind in those senses. Week twenty-one is like writing line twenty-one hundred in a program. Beginning of program, middle of program, end of program, it is all the same. In a sense, we are programming a human application, but it is strikingly the same.

When I think of Uell Stanley "U.S." Andersen's work or read any of it, I genuinely and deeply think of these facts, also, if you want to change anything in your life, I suggest you give what I am mentioning in a brick and mortar way some thought too. Change is more basic and genuinely easy to do than you think. What is three concentrated weeks (or a little more) in one life with hundreds, even thousands of weeks anyhow? Not much.

Indeed, we are our own steersmen. If we were not, then, we would not even have individual thoughts or any programming power over our lives. In fact, we really would be blank slates that can "go where the wind blows". Here, in this article, I am getting a basic reality about life across: We become what we think about if we think about it enough. Sure, I lifted/quoted part of that one from Earl Nightingale, but that is a reality that cannot be denied anyhow. What do you think those "nuts" Emile Coue and William Walker Atkinson/Theron Quincy DuMont meant by "Mind Building" anyhow? Some will get it, some will be irritated by the repetition of realities, but I end with the saying of a Bob Dylan song: You have got to serve somebody.

You either make direction or it is given to you. That is what I mean by that one about "you have got to serve somebody". I am not saying "good or bad" or anything, but I am saying direction comes from you or it is given to you for good or bad, that is all.

The Way To Success For You Now With This Easy Abundance Mindset For Living Your Dreams

Is success for you in life possible right now? Your life isn't really about being a competitor against others, to be fought on their terms.

A few separate business owners can be compared for their success in the corporate world, but this doesn't really show us about their entire lives, does it?

As you read along and ponder this article keep in mind that the Course in Miracles states, "The body's serial adventures, from the time of birth to dying are the theme of every dream the world has ever had."

If you'll be happier, wealthier and much healthier at some point in the future, does this imply you are a failure now?

- Success in life is about the process, not about lists of accomplishments.

- Your individual success remains in the actions of this moment.

- This may be a genuine originality to you, but does not it make user-friendly sense?

If you stop working at the specific goals you are presently working on, but the attempt is honest, and you're willing to learn from your mistakes, isn't this personal success?

The idea might be annoying for some, yet for some others the idea of success being someplace in the future is simply a method to excuse the actions of the moment.

They can continue "waiting for their ship to come in," and postpone taking the actions they need to take to fulfill themselves.

They can keep that future in mind - and always press it a little additional forward.

If you think like this, you may not like the idea that you can have success in life right now, because it reminds you that it is your duty.

On the other hand, the concept of success being in this instant now can be a very liberating thought.

Previously I discussed free material on the web such as e-books and more on manifesting your desires and the right tools for getting you to that point.

Discover your inspiration in the work of the instant you are in now, do it honestly and with acceptance of the requirement to constantly fix course and delight in the journey, and you are successful right now.

Exactly what do you want out of life, is it to become wealthy?

Travel the world? Be much healthier?

Or, is it all of the above?

Whatever your finest course remains in life is (and this is only for you to choose), when you to begin honestly in that direction, at that precise moment you are being successful as a human being.

Success in life is distinct and individual.

External symptoms of success are great - money, things and chances. This internal procedure of courageously choosing the best path again and taking action is what specifies success in life.

As I 'd said success in life can be different for few, the same for a few, and unbelievably exciting for many who dive into the process.

Success in life is about how you go about achieving your dreams, setting goals and objectives, and how you live your life while in this world.

Does committing to live life to the fullest as a way to create wealth with the abundance mindset make you a successful individual?

If you believe like this, you might not like the idea that you can be a success right now, since it advises you that it is a duty you owe to yourself.

(Please note I suggest that you search the internet for further helpful material when looking for a few things you can do to help you succeed in life, and while you do, keep in mind that success in life is unique and personal.)

To success and happiness in your life!

How "Taking Life Personally" Causes Pain & Error

Life is a holistic, universal thing that's all positive and all harmonious. Whenever it seems not to be, it's not the fault of life, it's the fault of your state of mind or perspective.

When your perspective is personal - one-sided instead of all-sided, you're then out of tune or sync with the flow of life. As a consequence, everything in life will tend to be a little more difficult, error-filled and stressful for you, and will remain so for as long as you hold onto this perspective.

All negative feelings come from the personality - which is not really real, rather than from your higher, aware self, which is really real. The negative feeling is real in the sense that we really do feel the pain, but not real in that the pain is not caused or based on something real. It's like seeing a tree branch and thinking it's a snake and having a heart attack over it.

THE SOLUTION

If you step on a nail, the pain is real and the cause of the pain - the nail, is real. So you either have to get rid of the nail or get rid of the foot. So you wisely choose to get rid of the nail. You do this by just separating the nail from your foot. If the cause or your pain is the unreal personality - which it is, then the solution is to separate your awareness - your real self, from the personality, the personality's pain. The ego's pain.

In other words, negativity of any nature is all in the mind, so the solution is to get a little distance from that thinking, feeling mind. Detached awareness, then, is the healing factor. The clarity or reality factor.

Anger, resentment, impatience, loneliness, boredom, sadness, etc., are of the personality or ego - which is not who we really, really are. Who we really, really are is the pure awareness above those egotistical, personal feelings. The pure awareness is above what we're thinking, feeling and doing in every present moment.

The real "I" is happy, joyous and free! "Happiness" can be real or personal. If it's an emotion, it's personal; if it's from your pure awareness, it's real or spiritual. We say awareness is "spiritual" because it's above the senses. Above the personal faculties of thinking, feeling, seeing, hearing, etc. Pure awareness is and reveals true happiness because true happiness is our real, essential nature. Who and how we really, really are.

CONCLUSION

You control or reverse any negative thought or feeling by detaching from it. Getting some distance from it. Some objectivity. Some stepping back. Some pausing. It's separating the nail from the foot. You're pulling your awareness of the thing back from being entangled in it. You're not repressing the emotion; you're getting above it. Being "above it all" is the secret to being healthy, happy, intelligent and free. Being "caught up in it all" is the secret of pain, limitation and error. Detached awareness, in and of itself, is the healing factor. The universal antidote to all negativity. It's amazing!

Discover The Healing Power Of Pyramid Meditation (By Mercedes Oestermann Van Essen)

I have been meditating for over 15 years. During that time I have also tried many different types of meditation with varying degrees of success.

Meditation should bring inner peace, harmony and open one's mind to receive knowledge which isn't accessible to the linear mind. When I discovered the healing power of pyramid meditation by accident, as it happened, a new world opened up for me:

It all began when I was experimenting with improving the effects of my space harmonizing pyramids.

I was given a helping hand by a very experienced healer and pyramid expert. Armed with the new secret ingredient I embarked on an intense pyramid production journey experimenting with different materials. I could feel the increased power from the new pyramids compared to the pyramids I had created before.

The biggest revelation though happened when one day I idly placed one of the new creations on my forehead.

Well, I had the biggest surprise of my life:

Within a few minutes my brain entered in a state of deep harmony. I began to see different worlds with my inner vision. I couldn't believe my eyes at the immense clarity of this inner vision which unfolded like a huge HD screen in front of my inner eyes. Was I dreaming? No. Within a couple of days I was given proof of what I had seen: I came across a video on the internet with the exact images I was shown when meditating with the pyramid in my head.

I continued to meditate with the new pyramid on my head. The healing power of pyramid meditation revealed itself to me in many ways each time I meditated.

I have verified many a vision I received from healing pyramid meditation.

I went back to my old pyramids, the effect wasn't the same. In fact I found that only the new formula pyramids provided the powerful harmonizing impact on the brain that enables one to access information the mind cannot possibly access in the linear way.

Well, I hardly need to tell you how excited I felt about the new discovery.

Now, many months into pyramid meditation I have had many amazing insights, visions and healing experiences. My own ability to do healing work with clients and buildings has increased ten fold since I have worked with the pyramids.

My connection to cosmic forces has strengthened. It seems like the pyramid meditation creates a bridge between one's consciousness and the universe which is an amazing experience.

I have given the pyramids to my partner and friends to experiment.

Every one of them also experienced the amazing energy from the pyramids in their own way.

In order to get the best results meditation needs to be focused on an intention. When you do this the beneficial effect increases and becomes measurable. If you can measure the impact of a technique in some way, the logical part of the brain will accept the new practice effortlessly.

I encourage you to find out more about the healing power of pyramid meditation. I write about it regularly in my blog and share new insights about the healing pyramid meditation techniques I am creating, or is it the universe that is creating them for me?

6 Powerful Ways to Enhance Your Self-Esteem

Low self-esteem arises when we're most vulnerable. Verbal cues are learned at a tender age and last well into a person's adult life.

During these formative years, the child's mind is impressionable. If subjected to emotional abuse, they're likely to assume this role as their main identity.

Life is challenging and being exposed to criticism makes it unbearable, especially when one is in a state of anguish.

We're unaware of what's lurking beneath the surface of another person until it's too late. We're only exposed to their facade, so it makes sense we treat everyone with humility and respect.

According to Freud, The Iceberg Personality Principle states that 90% of a person's constitution lies beneath the surface. Therefore, what takes place behind the scenes of others is beyond our awareness.

"Self-esteem is a concept developed by American psychologists to measure self-worthiness. Thus, we can conceive worthiness as the temperature and self-esteem as the thermometer," states author Mario Martinez in, The MindBody Code: How to Change the Beliefs that Limit Your Health, Longevity, and Success.

The following principles should strengthen your self-esteem. We must embody them at a deeper level, past the conscious mind for it to be of any use.

As you carry them out, your wholeness will emerge beneath the rubble of a fragmented past. This is the essence of who you are and your low self-worth is merely a story you adopted against your better judgment.

You are not defined by your thoughts, your beliefs or values. These are qualities you possess and are changeable with time.

1. Self-Acceptance

Self-acceptance means to embrace who you are, replete with your flaws and insecurities. There are two sides to your nature, so you cannot be imperfect. To draw attention to your inadequacies awards them energy and plays down other significant aspects of your character. Think of it akin to pain in the body. When you have a headache, your awareness is directed to the pain in your head. You are less aware of other body areas because of the intense pressure that commands your attention. Similarly, to focus on your imperfections is to draw awareness to those areas while downplaying other enduring qualities. Despite low self-esteem, there's equal balance in your ability to empathise with others. Harmony is upheld through other traits, but when we focus on the lesser ones, we weaken others.

2. Reinforce Your Self-Belief

Self-belief is a muscle that requires constant reinforcement. Those with an empowered self-worth attribute it to a strong self-belief. They're aware of destructive thought patterns and on the occasion negative self-talk emerges, they avoid engaging with them.

Look for evidence in the past where you've excelled. Develop an inner dialogue of kindness and empathy. You've heard the expression, become your best friend. Treat yourself as you would a family member or a loved one. Current research in self-compassion shows we're more likely to be happy and fulfilled if we nurture ourselves, instead of treating ourselves unkindly.

"You can learn to trust that there is a sane, wise, and nurturant resource within you. In fact, the more you know what you really want, the less desperately you need it. This happens because your self-esteem, confidence, and clarity grow," affirms psychotherapist David Richo in, The Five Things We Cannot Change: And the Happiness We Find by Embracing Them.

3. Focus On The Present

Move your attention out of the past and refuse to focus on prior failures and mistakes. When you're stuck in the past, you bring unhappy memories into the present moment. Come back to your present experience by staying engaged in your current surroundings. The past is a figment of your imagination because there's no evidence to suggest it exists now. If I asked you to show me your memories, you would be hard-pressed to do so. Instruct your mind to stay present when it stumbles into the past. Take regular walks in nature and observe your surroundings. Note the colour of the trees, the grass or something that grabs your attention. It might be momentary, yet it engages you in a present state of awareness.

4. Undertake Self-Improvement

Self-improvement helps you reframe failure by seeing it through the eyes of opportunity. You realise there are no mistakes, only ways to evolve. Together with mindfulness, self-improvement is a means for you to mature into a greater version of yourself. We're constantly evolving, so who you were a year ago is not the same person you are today. Your thoughts, attitudes and beliefs change, so you need to renew your commitment to self-development every day. Consider it taking care of your mind as you would your body. It requires work and discipline to become a person of character, so don't take short-cuts or assume it's not important. I assure you, if you don't invest in yourself, you'll see the consequences when life falls apart.

5. Develop Mindfulness

Be aware of your predominant thoughts by noting their themes and cycles. For example, are they self-sabotaging, negative or neutral? Reframe such thoughts as they arise and refuse to accept them as real. Thoughts are meaningless conversations that take place in the mind. You needn't pay attention to the incessant chatter because the cycle of thoughts come and go. To identify with thought forms is futile because your mind is an ever-changing oasis. Focus on the silent gaps in between your thoughts through meditation. As you become acquainted with this practice, you synchronise your thoughts with your breathing. This allows the mind and body to harmonise with one another, creating a peaceful physical state.

6. Create Empowering Beliefs

Examine any outdated beliefs and be willing to write a new script to enhance your self-esteem. Beliefs are formed long ago and may no longer be relevant, so revise them often.

Empowered individuals constantly review their beliefs and challenge their thoughts. They refuse to be drawn in to the inner dialogue taking place in their mind since they recognise it's a battle they seldom win.

The process of enhancing self-esteem can be a slow, yet fulfilling journey. It may take years to become a person of strong character, so don't be dissuaded by that. An aeroplane can go no faster to arrive at its destination. Wishing for more self-esteem without doing the work, will not draw you closer to the person you wish to become.

Be kind and gentle with yourself as you increase your self-esteem. Observe and make incremental changes when things don't go as planned. This is a learning and discovery process as it is about self-development.

Author Guy Winch states in Emotional First Aid: Practical Strategies for Treating Failure, Rejection, Guilt, and Other Everyday Psychological Injuries, "Failure has an even greater impact on our self-esteem. Many of us respond to failures by drawing damaging conclusions about our character and abilities that seem incredibly compelling to us at the time even when they have no merit whatsoever."

Instead of judging yourself, pay attention to what is taking place in your life. Avoid labelling thoughts since this has a negative effect on self-esteem.

View yourself through the eyes of equanimity and self-compassion, instead of criticism and guilt.

Afterall, you're learning to develop a new inner dialogue that may have taken years to build, so be gentle with the process. The changes are subtle at first, but more concrete over time.

If Only You Believe - Why It Matters

Human nature may be defined by two groups, those whose focus is on the probabilities in life and those who dare to focus on the possibilities. The possibility group is always focused on what can be possible while the probability group denies the existence of anything they cannot see, touch or test. For many in the latter group extraordinary events, even miracles are often pooh poohed and mocked. Impossible, they say! And for them it may be.

Our planet has recently entered the outer bands of multi-dimensional energy. The possibility believers will notice the changes first. Things that others called impossible begin to manifest before their eyes! Information and events they have longed for and dreamed of can soon become reality as cures to difficult diseases seem to appear in totally unexpected ways. Information will arrive to those who are seeking answers even though they may not recognize the source, they simply know this may work; and it will. Aging will be dramatically slowed, not by fancy products but by people who learn to move into this new energy. Life spans will be lengthened while the quality of life is greatly enhanced. The physician within will be heard and acknowledged. All these possibilities are likely to be deemed as nonsense, impossible even, by those probability believers. Why does it matter what you believe?

Look carefully at events that have transpired in your own life. Look closely at events that happened to others, events that caused you to search deeply for how it could have happened. Those are the times you were confronted by the differences in what you believe. Colonel Sanders is a great example. This senior citizen may have been the only believer in possibilities, yet he persevered forward to become a household name. The same is true of Mary Kay, a host of artists, authors and even world leaders. Their legacy is defined by what they were willing to believe; they became a part of the rich history of world events. Imagine how different history would have been written if not for these possibility believers!

What is the real difference in these two groups? Probability believers are severely limited to what they can achieve or become in life. Everyone's opportunities in life are limited to what they can accept as reality, now or in the future. Those who rebuff possibilities are limited to what they already know, what they already believe is possible. Their focus does not extend beyond 'practicality' unless they are forced to seek a miracle. This often happens in doctors' offices and hospitals where the unthinkable has arrived on their horizon and crashed into their lives. No one knows anything that can help a desperate situation and suddenly, they look beyond the probabilities which are unacceptable.

People who are creative and in touch with harmony and the energy around them are the strongest examples of possibility believers and they affect our lives. They are always on a quest for something new; a new design, a new idea, a new way forward. They can become strong problem solvers because they routinely look beyond the obvious. Benjamin Franklin, Albert Einstein and Thomas Edison are among the more famous of those who affected our world because they dared to believe in what might be possible.

If you are willing to remove the self-imposed limits on what might be possible, dispose of the idea that others may find you frivolous or uninformed, you will be poised to take a leap of faith directly into energy that is more magical than we ever dared believe! Obstacles can easily be disposed of while solutions arrive unexpectedly. Miracle shall follow miracle and wonders shall never cease, if only you can believe.

Confusion, Conflict and Chaos

Confusion in a literal sense means is the state of being bewildered or unclear in one's mind about something. It is also defined that an individual is in a state of disorientation due to many reasons. What is important is to find out the reasons of his confusion? At the outset, most people fall victim to confusion due to health reasons. However, a healthy person can be confused due to conflicting options available to him. Here, analyzing within the context will pave the way towards the correct conclusion. Nevertheless, people with less confident or lack of knowledge will become the victim of confusion.

It is advisable to listen patiently to those who have rational and composed on the subject. Their reasoning is comprehensive, substantial and convincing. Therefore, paying attention to the person and listening with concentration will paint a clear picture into his mind. He comes out of confusion and becomes productive and logical.

By and large, Conflict in groups arises due to different course of action among themselves. Although each member within the group justifies their views, thereby, disagree over the core issue. It is interesting to note that generally, every conflict returns to negotiation table at some point of time. The period of conflict varies subject to political, social, economic and cultural differing opinions. What has since been conspired or transpired between the groups within the time frame is very interesting? It is a fact that time is the best healer hence conflicts resolved to lead to compromise and accommodation of each other's needs.

I am specifying the core concept concerning group conflicts by Donelson R Forsyth, a social and personality psychologist. He narrowed down the group conflicts into four basic emotions:

1. Envy

2. Contempt

3. Pity

4. Admiration

Elaborating each emotion reduces down the preliminary issue to reconciliations. Again, it revolves around compromise and agreement within its means and objectives.

The effect of confusion becomes chaotic, and it needs to be understood comprehensively. The meaning and definitions of Chaos are varying subject to Mythology, Philosophy and Religion. It is written in books that in Greek mythology, according to Hesiod (Ancient Greek poet), chaos is the first thing to exist. In Cosmogony (The branch of science that deals with the origin to the universe, especially the solar system), it is the concept in classical creation myths. In Chaos magic, it is a branch of occultism. Chaos, especially in biblical usage, is a chasm or abyss.

It is conclusively defined that mathematically very few systems are truly chaotic, and we cannot apply these proofs to physical systems. Therefore, all difficult decisions in life are executed under uncertainty. Thus, Chaos theory gives better support to our decision-making.

In religion, the concept and meaning vary dramatically among different faith. However, in Islam, lack of certainty, and lack of believe in the faith give birth to doubt. The cardinal point is the clarity of mind in faith one practices. That is the point to ponder!

Furthermore, in a common man's language chaos is the bi-product of confusion and conflict jeopardizing the otherwise normal situation. The dynamic situation is to integrate the values arising out of chaotic situations. The rest becomes rhythmic oscillation between confusion and conflict. The chord can be harmonious if people involved are finely tuned; otherwise, it turned into chaotic situations. The cycle of uncertainty will eventually evolve into the positive outcomes. Then people will say, "All is well that ends well."

Importance Of Sacrifice

The sacrifices each of us makes throughout our lives is totally different from one another. Sacrifice is something that most people have no interest in learning. Unfortunately, most people never really learn especially in terms of money-related problems that makes most people never fulfill their goals and are left without ever realizing those goals.

Many of us wants to have financial freedom. But then again, our desire to complain is much stronger than our desire to make any sacrifices to get an inch closer to realize our dreams. Most people will never make an ounce of effort to get to where they think they want to go. We just have to cuddle and enfold that our momentary pain compared to our long-term gain.

Our various experiences throughout our lifetime are a sifting process along the narrow path that we are walking. We can take pride when we successfully surpassed a trial. We know how to sympathize when we see other people stumble from human weakness. Though, sometimes, we feel abandonment, frustration and reluctance because of the decisions we made in life.

The people whom we love and value will always be with us no matter what we do. It's hard sometimes, to do the things we know we have to do; especially when those things have unintended consequences on the ones we love. The choices we make in life can be difficult. But leaning into what energizes us is going to be seen by many as an affront.

Sacrifice is like breathing, if we can bring some focus and attention to it, it can serve us in some pretty powerful ways. We cannot help others unless we first help ourselves. By not making the sacrifices and embracing happiness, we remain at home bitter and unfulfilled.

Maybe if we are around each other all the time, then we can't appreciate each other as much and the days spent together would just be another day instead of something so special. We savor each moment together and it is filled with laughter and story telling that just inspires us to be more and do more.

Our sacrifices make life meaningful. There are no rewards in life without any sacrifices. Usually the bigger the sacrifice the greater the reward. In order to give your best effort on your current project, you stop working on many other things and pay your full attention to it because saying YES to one job opportunity means saying NO to many others. As the saying goes, "We cannot serve two masters at the same time."

To make a dream come true, you need to make compromises and sacrifices and focus all your energy and effort into doing something to make it happen. The best way to do this is to give up on all the others things just to realize this one big dream.

Cake in a Cup = Creative Perfection

Most of the creative people I know think they are perfectionists, but are actually not perfect at all; attention to detail is there, and they don't like to leave a task until it is done to their liking, but they are always open and creative in their approach. Put ten of them in a room, and you will not be able to hear yourself think, as they loudly give you more than ten different solutions to the same problem.

Some people say you are born to be creative, but I wonder if it is also a bit like a muscle; the more you use it, the more it works. Of course, we all have different strengths, and while being artistic might be in someone's DNA, creativity might be something we can all learn to embrace, nurture, and have fun with.

Which brings me back to perfection. The other day, I read a really great theory; that creativity begins with letting go of having to do everything perfectly, and the willingness to discover other options.
What they suggested was so simple, that I wanted to share it with you...

Practice making a recipe without having all the ingredients. Whether it is a meal or a cake, go ahead and turn the oven on, knowing full well that you are not prepared.

Don't dismiss Chicken Tarragon because you have no tarragon. (I don't like tarragon anyway). Substitute thyme, or whatever is in your cupboard or your garden. If you don't have any herbs, make it anyway, add whatever you feel like, and see what happens.

The same with a cake. Yes, they say it is a science, but I often use a lot less sugar, and I play with the proportions and flavor, until the raw batter looks (and tastes) good to me. What is the worst that can happen? It's still cake. Add a dollop of cream, or your favorite ice cream, and it's still a dessert that you didn't have on your plate a couple of hours ago.

The joy of this is, playing with a recipe forces you to stretch that creative muscle, and to see that there are always other options around.

After doing this a few times, you will start to look at everything else a little differently; there will automatically be more solutions to your problems, tarragon will disappear from your shopping list, and you will start to see the world in a far more interesting (creative) way...

Anxiety symptoms are not too hard to spot. Tension headaches are probably the most popular anxiety symptoms. This anxiety symptom brings on constant toilet encounters. General anxiety is not the same as panic attack.

Were you conscious of the fact that you may be suffering from anxiety? Anxiety symptoms are not too hard to spot. More often than not, anxiety may begin when a person experiences their first panic attack. They will start to live in fear of having another attack, so they are frequently on the edge. Even when they manage to get their panic attacks controlled, their lives are containing a considerable amount of anxiety due to their past experiences.

While all of these are negative enough, there is also constipation, insomnia, racing thoughts, hyperventilation, trembling, muscle tension, dizziness, and shortness of breath that comes into play.

People who suffer from anxiety are highly likely to also suffer from frequent panic attacks as well. The difference with anxiety is that the signs are felt almost all of the time and really never seem to cease. A great place to begin is what you want to transform inside your life. What reasons your symptoms? How can you keep them from interfering inside your daily life? The starting steps are maintaining a certain attitude about life, and who you are being a person. Taking this route can allow you to find a method to get your life back.

The overall best news is that if you are suffering from anxiety, you can stop it on your own by noticing some of the most common physical Anxiety Symptoms. Anxiety can sometimes make you feel like you are on the edge. General anxiety is not the same as panic attack.

Social Anxiety Medications

A fairly ‘new’ anxiety, Social Anxiety disorder was overlooked for quite a long while by the medical community as it was often confused with shyness. That being said, the drug companies haven’t been backward and there are as many Social Anxiety medications on the market as there are other anxiety medications although truly most anti anxiety drugs are suitable for all types of anxiety disorders. Only a very few drugs are completely anxiety specific, so a general mild anti anxiety medication will probably work just as well as specific Social Anxiety medications.

What is social anxiety, you ask? Well, to put it simply you fear certain social situations and will go to any lengths to avoid them. This doesn’t necessarily follow that you’ll be of a retiring nature and that you won’t like social gatherings. It only means that certain specific social situations lead you to feel anxiety and sometimes to experience panic attacks. So whereas a person with a shy disposition might shirk all social gatherings, you could be the life of the party one minute with all eyes on you and loving it and the next minute something could happen to bring about your Social Anxiety. Perhaps you find yourself in a humiliating situation or you find yourself in a position from which you can’t remove yourself and that’s when your Social Anxiety symptoms will all kick in at once drowning you in their viselike grip. So what can you do about it?

First rest assured that you can generally use Social Anxiety medications to treat your condition, but it’s always a good idea to make certain that you truly are suffering from Social Anxiety and not just plain shyness. So here are a few symptoms for you to look out for when next you find yourself in that position.

Fear of being socially humiliated, fear of being embarrassed, heightened feelings of awareness, shortness of breath, sweaty hands, trembling and twitching. If you experience palpitations, nausea and lightheadedness, along with feelings of incompetence and extreme cases of anxiety as well then there’s a good chance that you suffer from Social Anxiety or Social Phobia as it’s also known. These symptoms might seem like normal ‘shy person’ symptoms but they only become Social Anxiety symptoms when they’re experienced in the extreme end of the spectrum of feelings.

Social Anxiety medications however can fix these problems easily especially if caught in the early stages so you need not suffer for too long. However if you’re unwilling to get on the medication bandwagonArticle Search, there are always alternative treatments available for you. Therapy can also be a viable alternative to Social Anxiety medications and can help you greatly. Talk with your doctor about all your alternatives and find the right one for you. Social situations need not be embarrassing or excruciatingly painful affairs; and who knows you might just find yourself enjoying yourself for the first time in a long while if you can find the correct suitable cure for yourself.

What Is Wrong With Me? Healing From Toxic Shame

Lapses in confidence are common, but when we are left feeling like we have somehow fallen short regardless of our accomplishments, it might be time to look a bit deeper to find out what might be driving this feeling.

I remember a client of mine several years back asking, "How do I love myself? What does that even mean?" For someone who has been well initiated into shame, self-love is so far beyond their comprehension that it is like describing a different universe.

We develop shame through life experiences, social conditioning, and cultural indoctrination. In short, we believe we are bad because we had experiences where people made us feel that way-overtly or covertly. These experiences are most impactful in our childhood when we are much more easily conditioned. However, the right combination of experiences at any point in life can leave us believing in our worthlessness.

Shame is complex and can be difficult to take apart. Understanding how and why it develops can give us a bit of insight.

Children learn to regulate their behaviors by developing an emotional "clutch," located in the prefrontal cortex, that can turn the accelerator off when the brakes are applied and redirect their interest in more acceptable directions... An activated accelerator followed by the application of brakes leads to a nervous system response with a turning away of eye gaze, a feeling of heaviness in the chest, and a sinking feeling. (Dan Siegel and Mary Hartzell)

This internal mechanism helps the child learn how to get along well with others and regulate their behavior in a way that is socially compatible. This happens in a very healthy way if, along with the child's instinctual "braking," there is love and connection offered from the outside. If, on the other hand, love and connection are withdrawn, then the child will have a different interpretation of the events.

This does not happen after one episode. When the experience is repeated, and the more it is repeated, the child comes to believe that there is something wrong with them. They will come to believe that what is wrong with them is either something someone told them in conjunction with these events or a seemingly random problem they might have found in their environment.

One of the simplest ways to heal ourselves is to reverse the process that we experienced. In other words, if we lost love and connection when we had a shame reaction, the best thing we can do for ourselves is to connect and feel love when we start experiencing shame.

This is easier said than done, but each time that you can choose this, it will help you to feel less chronic shame, and through that, strengthen your sense of self-worth.

When trying to reconnect and heal from toxic shame, there are some important things to consider.

Is this person safe?

Are they capable of supporting me?

Do I know what will help me?

Do I have a back-up plan?

Is this person safe? Not all people are capable of meeting you as you try to connect and come out of shame. If you are not sure about your personal relationship, it may be helpful to first do this work with a professional to ensure the maximum safety for yourself. Even when working with a professional, try establishing the relationship's security before sharing highly sensitive material.

Are they capable of supporting me? Someone may love you a lot and be very trustworthy but lack the ability to show up in the way that you need during this vulnerable time. Sometimes, you will not know if someone is capable of supporting you until after you have tried. That is totally fine. However, if someone has proven themselves unable to show up in the way you need, you will be better off waiting to share with them until you have shed some layers of shame.

Do I know what will help me? Very often, the answer to this question is no. However, it is still worth thinking about and finding some answers to. When you know what you need, it is that much easier to get it for yourself. We often learn this by getting what we do not need and then using a process of elimination to learn what works best for us.

Do I have a back-up plan? Crossing this divide can seem really risky. There are reasons that you decided to hide rather than connect. Not every attempt is going to be met with success. In fact, your defense mechanisms might make it impossible to feel successful even if many successful features are present. Taking good care of yourself means knowing where you can go or how you can take care of yourself if your situation ends up being less than optimal. In time, as you grow in this skill, it becomes less necessary as the whole process will become easier.

It is helpful to keep in mind that the vast majority of people deal with some kind of shame that holds them back or shuts them down. You are not alone, and your bravery not only paves the way for your own expanded life, but also helps others heal from their shame.

Sat Chit Ananda, Pure Blissful Consciousness

I seek you in temples, in altars and shrines, in mantras and malas, in murtis and idols, what do I seek? That which is already in me, which I do not realize or can't fathom, the depths of non duality, my being is you, only you, yet I question every step, every turn that life takes, ridden with the burden of karmas, mistakes or lessons that I learnt, only increasing my faith in the very existence of the force that is the very essence of life, who do I call in the a crisis, when I am overcome with joy, the cosmic Brahman, I see you in all, peace, peace, peace.

The atman drives our existence, taking us through life's experiences, some that are what we want and some that are painfully not needed. Yet the being evolves with these experiences, strengthening ever more with the realization of Sat Chit Ananda.

Sat Chit Ananda, never changing Absolute being, surreal, the undifferentiated state of non-duality. It is the most perfect expression of living reality, the primordial Self, our inner being, that which is a part of the divine. Chit, pure consciousness, are the experiences unlimited by creation.

Ananda is bliss, limitless divine joy of the soul. We identify with that which does not change, and become the witness of the changes of nature. Going from a state of being to no being, from asking to receiving and giving, inner peace, tranquility and joy.

Watch as the seer and not the doer, go to higher levels of consciousness, not bound by rituals or doctrines, the self can be realized in any which way that your inner being asks you. Some find their path through meditation others through singing kirtans or yoga.

Sat is truth, the destroyer of falsehood, delusion, ego and illusion. It leads us from the unreal, the perceived reality to the real, out of the shadow and into visible consciousness of our true state that is union with the Brahman. Sat liberates us from a limited, narrowness of thought and action to our boundless and natural state of pure being.

So no more Karma or karmic action, and retribution it is the absolute truth of the being that you see simply and subjectively. I bore the brunt of my karmic action weighed down with pain and sadness with the world, till I realized that my being is pure and only in unison with the Brahman.

He is me, I am him, so where and how is this a game of blame. Go forward, take charge of the Sat through Chit and reach for Ananda.

Chit is consciousness reaching out of slumber and forgetfulness into our true nature of unconditional love. Ananda is pure absolute bliss, joy and union with the Brahman. Release all tensions, stress, obstacles, chaos and conflict, and disturbances and you are in union with the Brahman, surrender and be purified.

In Satchitananda, the chakras are balanced in harmony and this synergistic flow allows the kundalini to flow and prana permeates every molecule of your being and floods the consciousness.

Steps to Develop More Discipline

At some point in life, every person will feel the effects of a lack of self-discipline. It is a challenging goal to conquer, but anyone can develop more discipline. There will be set-backs along the way, but establishing good self-discipline is an important step for your personal development.

1. You are human

Don't forget that you are a human being. You will make mistakes, it is only natural. People start learning by trial and error in infancy-adult learning is often no different. The goal here is to learn from your mistakes and not keep repeating the same error time and time again. If you mess up one day, don't give up and don't beat yourself up. Just start fresh the next day.

2. Set attainable goals

Nothing kills a plan faster feeling like it's impossible to get anywhere. It's not conducive to your personal development to set the bar too high at first. If you currently don't exercise at all, a goal of walking three times a week is a nice, attainable goal. You are not going to go from being sedentary to running marathons overnight. Remember to keep your goals in check with your abilities. If you set the bar too high at first, you will burn out and give up. Set yourself up for success by keeping your goals within your abilities.

3. Reward yourself

When you reach a goal, go ahead and reward yourself. If you walk three times this week, allow yourself to splurge on a night out with friends. When goal achievement goes unrewarded, we have a tendency to stop moving forward. Everybody needs to feel like they got a "win" sometimes. When you attain a goal, reward yourself. You are worth it.

4. Use your time effectively

Time is a precious commodity-treat it as such. When you get wrapped up in a task, you sacrifice time elsewhere. Creating a schedule for your day can help to eliminate situations where you feel like you worked all day, yet accomplished nothing.

5. Schedule fun time

Often we get so wrapped up in everything we have to do that we forget about doing what we want to do. The stress of everyday life can feel crushing some days. It is so important to schedule time in your day for something you enjoy. Without this release, you are setting yourself up to burn out. Burn out can kill any self-discipline progress you have made. Scheduling a few minutes each day for enjoyable activities is not only fun, it's essential to your mental health.

With these simple steps even the most disorganized person can achieve some self-discipline. Take charge of your life today!
