Even those who initiate the divorce procedure can experience extraordinary psychological turmoil leading to be sorry for, tension and anxiety and insecurity. Those who were not anticipating or in any way desiring the split can leave feeling psychologically harmed, confused and questioning their own worth. It's difficult to tackle these problems alone.

A support system, personal coach, professional counselor or other comparable resources will be incredibly important in reminding you that

1) you are not alone in your experiences or sensations and

2) there is a brighter future ahead for you-- if you take proactive steps in that guidelines.

While friends and family are usually extremely well-intentioned, their support might not continuously be essential for you. They have their own agendas, point of views and values about marital relationship, family and divorce. Exactly exactly what you most require at this tough time is a help system that is dispassionate, caring and educated about liable practices that will move you into a more positive chapter in your life.

Here are a couple of ideas to direct you in enhancing your confidence throughout the divorce and its effects.

Be dedicated to releasing the past: If you remain stuck in experiencing once again and sticking to exactly what not is your truth, you will not open the door to the next chapter in your life. Make space in your life for brand-new good pals, relationships, profession choices and fulfilling activities. Attempt to discover and anticipate new chances in new places.

I'll Be Happy When

When will you be happy? Do you believe it will happen when you finish school, get a better job, make more money, get married, buy a new car or house, have kids, take a vacation or retire? If you do, you will be greatly disappointed.

The world leads us to believe that we will be happy when we get something we want or when something happens. We have hopes and dreams of things bigger and better and we invest our time and money in anything and everything. Then the wonderful moment arrives when our dream comes true and we are extremely happy, but for how long? Happiness fades quickly and then we end up wanting something else. Why?

Happiness is not found in outside sources, it comes from within. Research continues to show that people who are rich and powerful are often unhappy, yet people who have little or nothing seem to be content with life. If we always place our happiness in something else, we will never be fulfilled.

There are many things that will create happiness in our lives. Use the expression 'I'll be happy when' and add these words:

  • Spreading love around
  • Building good relationships with family and friends
  • Positive thinking
  • Being thankful
  • Attending worship services
  • Taking care of our health
  • Being able to forgive
  • Being generous with my time, talents and treasure

What can you do today to create some happiness in the lives of others? Don't be surprised if you get some of that happiness back!

Fanning the Flames (By Chris Penlington)

I'm driving into work. As the traffic slows approaching a junction, a car pulls suddenly into my lane in front of me, requiring me to slam on my brakes to avoid hitting it. I blast the car horn. The young driver and his friend make rude signs with their hands and screech away laughing.

Halfway through the work day I am still running this scenario through my mind and thinking of all the ways in which I might have liked to respond. Might still like to respond if given the opportunity.

The incident itself was undoubtedly unpleasant and difficult for me. Despite having done nothing wrong I was put in danger by the insensitive driving style of another driver, only to suffer what felt like a further injustice when they reacted as they did. I could not have done much to change my automatic reactions at the time of fear, anger and a sense of injustice. Yet the incident happened once. In the hours that followed, I have recreated this same incident in my mind many more times, each time reconnecting with the original feelings. If, by lunchtime I am feeling tense, angry, frustrated and violated, who can I hold responsible for this? The young driver with the insensitive driving style? Or my own mind, which has replayed this difficult situation again and again, in glorious technicolour and with added commentary all through the morning?

It's interesting to note that one feature of the human mind is that it does not always make a distinction between what is happening in real time and memories that we are replaying. A memory can trigger the same emotions and responses as if we were actually going through that same situation again. So as I run through this situation in my mind over and over, I am subjecting myself to the same anger, fear and sense of unfairness that were triggered by the events at the beginning of the day. Does this do me any good? No, it doesn't.

It is easy to become caught in patterns like this. The feelings that are generated are highly threatening, and demand a response. Unless we actively choose otherwise, our minds will turn to automatic pilot running and re-running the memory in problem-solving mode until we find an acceptable solution. Except of course in this, as in many situations, we are not going to find an acceptable solution. Which means that the urge to re-run the events in our mind is not going to be naturally switched off any time soon. Which means that the feelings of fear, anger and having been treated unfairly will remain pretty strong and probably influence our other interactions during the day.

Even if I recognise that my thoughts are not helping me, it can be tricky to stop.

One thing that won't help is to give myself a hard time and tell myself to stop thinking like this. Fighting against how we think or feel is almost always counterproductive.

So how can I stop it? How can I help myself to cope when things like this happen? It's not easy, but mindfulness training does give us some helpful possibilities.

I might tell myself that there is something more important I want to focus on right now. Then, whenever I notice that my mind has started to drift away from what I now want to focus on, I can simply gently guide my attention back to where I want it to be.

I might recognise that it is hard for me to feel the way that I do. Since when things are hard we all need to be able to connect with kindness to help us through, I might try to be kind to myself in some small way, maybe with calming self-talk, some relaxed breathing or a small treat.

I might take a little time to focus in on the body and gently pay attention to the physical feelings that come with the sense of anger and frustration. By dropping the storyline and focusing in on my tight chest and clenched jaw I can more helpfully direct my attention towards looking after myself in the moment rather than pulling myself with thinking back into the past.

With practice I notice sooner when I am being pulled into unhelpful patterns of responding in my mind after difficult experiences. I am beginning to sometimes make wiser choices which can help me to move forward in my life. And even when I haven't made these wise choices for some time, I am learning to bring kindness to the experience and just do the best I can.

Who Draws the Line?

The lines we draw in life are really barricades we erect to establish acceptable behavior with the people we interact with. One of the most obvious ways to recognize people whose life is off-balance is to observe where they erect these barriers. Many have none at all. Barriers are like road warning signs to prevent traffic from entering areas that may be dangerous or deadly. The lines we draw in life serve the same purpose. They can be vital to our existence.

The people you surround yourself with, those who are 'in your loop' represent where you drew lines in the past. The story about who you have become is revealed by a close observation of who is in your life today. You surround yourself with people who are what you see yourself as becoming. As the same as the old adage says, 'birds of a feather flock together'; you will be judged by the company you keep. Your comfort zone tells the story about who you are and plan to become.

If you find yourself accepting behavior today that was unacceptable before, your line has been moved by you or through your acceptance of bad behavior. A spouse or partner who has a new bad habit, a child who has become a stranger, a friend who speaks disparagingly about you or your family or the multitude of things that you observe and know were unacceptable before are good examples of how your lines or barriers have been relocated. When you notice these changes in the people around you and realize you are no longer offended or bothered by them it is time to examine what changed, and why.

If the reason is because you have new information or have discovered an underlying cause that is acceptable your barriers were moved to accommodate a cause you believe is in your best interest. It takes a miracle to change the mind of any human, or a crushing blow one believes they cannot change or recover from. If the reasons you identify fall more into the category of a blow to you or your self-worth it is time to drag them back into place, recover your values and polish your self-image mirror. These kinds of things render those warning signs as life-preserving.

It is never OK to accept the unacceptable if you are trading off your own values to allow another person or situation to use you for their private doormat or whipping boy. The company of no other person is worth accepting less than you should demand for yourself. People who genuinely care will never ask this of you. If you become confused about the cause, examine the content of the requests. Would it be embarrassing to share with someone who you have no doubt about cares for you? Is it in your best interest to re-draw the lines? If the answer is no you are better served to cut ties than move lines.

Real success requires more than just material gain.

The Course in Miracles states, "You must learn to believe in your own perfection."

The true meaning of success is a mix of living aligned to you perfection being really happy with your personal and professional life.

In order to succeed, you need to own the key to success and want to learn how to be successful and rich from your heart, and then the universe will deliver it to you, and successful others have proved this.

There's a solution that will not only help you think like a success, but to actually become a success and live the life you want.

Follow the strategies given you here today and you'll see how to ensure your purpose and passion in life brings you success.

What's Real Success for You?

Previously I discussed more on all the helpful material available in free e-books, videos, and more that are a good source of information.

Real success is shown by wholeness, which is just experienced by positioning oneself with the requirements of your passion and purpose.

To just see meaning of success as a presentation of a particular level of product or monetary status acquired through aspiration is to just understand a little part of your inner power's capacity.

- Success comes as the spin-off of a life lived from the within out.

- The essential to living an effective life is in understanding the awareness that you suffice.

You produce the area within your awareness that permits you to straighten harmoniously with your higher self or the right mind, as soon as you accept you are good enough and deserving.

It took some time, and major truth-telling, however I quickly found I was pressing myself towards a vision of success based on cash, not wholeness.

I dedicated my complete attention towards my passions and enthusiasms, and I enjoyed being aligned to the meaning of success, my inner power's bloom, we may say, as an outcome.

The fact is you are better off knowing where you want to end up so you know how to design the map to get the life you want.

You wish to consider your way of life first and design your personal life and/or company around diving in and going deep to create the life you want.

I 'd read a piece that stuck with me but the author is unidentified:

"The meaning of success is 'half' won when one acquires the routine of setting goals and attaining them. Even the most tiresome task will end up being endurable as you parade through each day convinced that every task, no matter how menial or boring, brings you closer to fulfilling your dreams."

(Please note I suggest searching the web for further helpful material on things like, being successful where purpose and passion is the key to success and unlocking the door.)

To happiness and success in your life!

Being Content: How to Not Let Others Affect You

Ever wondered how to be content and happy without letting others affect you? How is it possible? Is it at all possible? This article answers these questions.

Let others' presence not bother you. You do your stuff all by yourself whatever you can. If you need co-ordination or help, ask for it. In break time, have fun and cut jokes and be happy. When you return to your work, do it coolly and be happy. You will cover many milestones this way. Stay in slow and steady mode - after all, you are the person who will win at it. Perseverance and determination always count.

Let others' words not sting at you. Make it go through one ear and out through the other ear. You may not allow what others say hurt you. Be firm and strong and speak boldly. Everything will work out and you do not have to be a people pleaser.

Let how others behave not bother you. You cannot expect everyone to be perfect and up to your standard. Nevertheless talk normally and accept them but don't let them hamper your thoughts or work.

Let how other people dress not bother you. If there is a dress code at work and someone violates it, they will have to pay for it. So you don't bother and sweat. If you don't like the way someone is dressed at a party or reunion, don't bother to say anything. Just keep your distance and mix with the people you are comfortable with and stay contented.

It's not your job to fix anyone. Let others do what they like, talk, behave or wear anything they like. You don't bother about these things unless it's your own family and would like to suggest something more rational or positive.

Learn to be content with your stuff in your place at work or home. Don't let anybody affect your peace of mind. You may sit in a garden for sometime or spend your time at a home library. Time will pass peacefully. If you crave for someone's company, let him or her know that and let them spend time with you for the time being and be content and happy.

Summing up, please don't let others' odd presence or behavior affect you. You may be in for a shock or surprise but it is totally their business. Control yourself and stay cool and at peace with yourself. That way you don't lose your temper or your peace of mind. Instead, tranquility surrounds you in your environment and you are left with your thoughts and work to enjoy and be content.

Controlling Stress Through The Super Conscious Mind

Sure, we can all hypnotize and control ourselves temporarily through the subconscious mind temporarily. But, if you want a permanent and realistically working technique that works all of the time, use the super conscious mind. This article will not be a definitive treatise on doing this, but rather a primer to get you started on this road to understanding how and why to do this. The super conscious mind is the key to mindfulness. Changing the subconscious is only temporarily redirecting the auto pilot feature on your mind if the super conscious mind is not considered, understood or tapped, I will not say "controlled". I will not say the word "controlled" in this case, because the key to working with the super conscious mind is to tap its power, not control it.

Although, this has some directions on how to use the super conscious mind, I will leave you room to think for yourself and get creative for yourself in using this mode of mind, although I will give definite directions here with bullet points:

  • First, get still and go within, you cannot do anything without doing that in some way. On this, I can only say do the best you can, but still the movements of your conscious and subconscious minds through developed discipline. I know, that is hard at first, but keep at it and you will manage this first step.
  • Second: Visualize deeply what you want, and if you cannot visualize it, think deeply about what you want. I know, this sounds a little crazy, but this is really the sanest thing you can do. I mean, having what you genuinely want will decrease your stress deeply when you think about it, right?
  • Also, finally, you can come out of this state with some actual answers if you genuinely do it right. On this, I give you room to grow through trial and error in a sense.
Realistically, I can only give those three directions as a framework, because beyond all those directions is the possession of a creative, open mind that can genuinely use them fully.

Note: I did not say perfect mind, but I did say "creative and open mind". The creative and open mind needs a framework of sound or good ideas, but not anything rigid, the genuinely creative and open mind can genuinely find its way to its goal and I am so sketchy, because the super conscious is more complex and easy to use than any computer that can be invented by man. After all, the super conscious is the computer invented by God. Think about that deeply. If you need a basic modality to get what I am saying, refer to my article on what to do when you cannot get enough sleep at night.

Finding Contentment in a Chaotic, Confused Life

In a season of reflecting over the fiftieth anniversary of Dr Martin Luther King Jr's passing, there is a stark image presented by the man himself as he speaks to students from Glenville High School in Cleveland, Ohio, on March 31, 1968 - five days before he was assassinated.

Dr King recounts a story of riding the school bus in the segregation era, having to sit on the back of the bus, the white children sitting at the front. He recalls placing his mind on the front seat and promising himself that his body would be there one day.

That's a passion unbound by the circumstances with which he was presented. He crystallised this following concept in his being:

No army can withstand the strength of an idea whose time has come."

- Victor Hugo (1802 - 1885)

Dr King refused to be identified as someone lesser than someone else. He proves the possibility that we, in our minds, can transcend the milieus we find ourselves in. The mind is unimaginably powerful; invincible when it's indwelt with the thrust of integrity and virtue.

When our mind insists on being held by a vision, no matter how lofty, the heart is encouraged. And when the heart is encouraged, faith, as a process, is inevitable. When faith walks forward with feet adorned with the shoes of courage, it's the forerunner of an anointed destiny.

If we live a life that is full to the brim to the overflowing, we don't resent it. Bitterness only spurns a hope that could otherwise be chosen. If pressures fill our lives, we must live as if change will inevitably come. If it is loneliness, we trust it won't always be that way. If it is grief, we know the sun must rise on some soon horizon. Confusion and chaos may be our present location, but contentment amid such noise assures us of a peace-laden destination.

Contentment begins in the mind resolved to choose hope in the mirage of despair.

5 Tips For Building Inner Confidence (By Helen Leathers)

"The mass of men lead lives of quiet desperation, and go to the grave with the song still in them."

Henry David Thoreau

This quote makes me sad. Mostly because I think it is probably true. The mass of men - and women - go to their grave with the song still in them. I want to inspire people to stand up and sing their song!

Why don't most people sing their song? Why do they lead lives of quiet desperation?

Is It Because They Lack Confidence To Do It?

There are loads of ways you can pretend to have confidence - to fake it 'til you make it! There are workarounds that might give you a bit of a boost - wearing those heels, or a particular outfit perhaps. But what if you could develop complete inner confidence so that you could shine regardless of where you were, what you wore, or who you were with?

How do you develop confidence like that? Well, here are my 5 tips that have worked for me

5 Tips For Developing Awesome Confidence

  1. Know Your 'Why'. What is your vision, your mission or your purpose? If you have ever had an absolute mission you will know how focussed and unstoppable you can be. If you have never experienced this, think about the vision that Oprah Winfrey, Richard Branson, Angeline Jolie, even Madonna (I love her, but some people don't) have. They know exactly what they want from life, what their mission is, what song they must sing - And they damn well sing it, don't they? Finding your purpose is massive. Having a vision for how you want your future to look, why you are doing what you are doing, who you would like to help or inspire are all reasons 'Why'. What is yours?
  2. Follow Your Intuition. I know, I talk about this a lot, and there are many reasons why that is. When you trust in your intuition, you just know that the right people, places and things will appear, as if by magic. Ladies, when we work with our intuition we stand in our power - we engage with one of our feminine superpowers! And it is amazing. We can feel guided, lucky, safe, on track, and ultimately confident.
  3. Breathe! Take a breath before you walk into a room. Breathe deeply before you have to stand up and speak. Breathe from your belly - that means not holding your stomach in by the way - allowing your lungs to fill properly. Breathing is especially important if you have to present, or even just do a 60 second pitch at a business event. If you know how to breathe correctly - allowing your stomach muscles to relax on the in breathe, and then using them to help actively expel the air as you speak and exhale, you will also sound more confident and be able to project your voice further. Your voice will sound more full and rounded rather than wispy or quiet.
  4. Energy. You need enough energy to keep yourself full of life and vigour, this is really practical and also a bit more esoteric. This is a vast subject but think about enough sleep, good exercise and fresh air (get those happy hormones flooding your bloodstream), great nutrition, quiet time, and what ever else you need to ensure you are at your optimum. But also understand how to ground your energy to help with confidence in the moment. It can be as simple as planting your feet firmly and evenly distributing your weight rather than standing (wobbling) on one leg - especially if you're in heels ladies! Bend your knees slightly and just imagine roots coming out of the soles of your feet. This sinks your energy in to your lower body and helps you to be present in the room. Excellent just before speaking or, if you feel a little overwhelmed go in to the toilets and do it before going back to the event!
  5. Posture. Posture can have two different meanings here. The way you stand physically, and your approach or attitude. When you believe in what you are doing (see point no. 1) and you have the right energy, and trust your intuition, you will have a positive approach and attitude, and people can sense that. In terms of physical posture, stand tall, ground your energy (see above), shoulders back, engage your core (that's your stomach muscles if you're not sure) and lift your head (as though someone is pulling a strand of your hair from the top of your scalp so that you extend your neck, keeping your chin level with the floor). When you stand tall and confident, it is almost impossible to feel un-confident. And if you start to slip into that feeling I can almost guarantee that your posture has slipped. Think of old TV clips of soldiers on parade
Each of these will give you a confidence boost, but used consistently over time, and combined together you will find such inner strength that you will feel confident in almost every situation.

Please don't lead your life in quiet desperation, please discover what song you are supposed to be singing and start to share it with the world. Even if it is just with those closest to you. Don't go to your grave with your song still inside.

Our Mysterious Self

Our self and our psyche are not identical. When we talk about self (or in another word, ego) we do not mean the whole psyche but only part of it, and when we talk about psyche we mean something wider than ego. The distinction between the two concepts is not clear-cut and most of us tend to identify ego as psyche and vice versa.

Even though there is much overlapping between ego and psyche (or in another word, consciousness), they are yet not identical. There is no specific area in the brain in which the self is located. It exists all over the brain contrary to conscious faculties that can be located and affected.

The fast paced progress in science has enabled the fine tuning of the distinction between psyche and self. In order to better understand the difference between the two concepts, let us ponder the issue in the light of modern research fields, such as computer science, brain and mental research and life sciences.

Consciousness and Ego according to Computer Science

The field of computers has come a long way in the development of artificial intelligence and the creation of humanoid robots. Yet, the development of psyche or consciousness for robots seems far-fetched. There is no doubt that computer science will be able to "instill" consciousness features into robots, such as incorporating all five human senses and teaching them to mimic human emotions, like love, hate, compassion, anger, disappointment, excitement, enthusiasm and others. It is possible to design robots that will express desires and have whims, or lend them various identities. In fact, it will be possible to implant in them almost all of the consciousness attributes and characteristics. However, such an advanced and sophisticated robot armed with all these features, will still behave artificially and will lack the most important element of consciousness that is the human ego.

We take the existence of self for granted since we do not know otherwise. We can learn from computer science that it is possible to have a case where there is a brain, that is there is a kind of consciousness, but there is no Self.

Consciousness and Ego in Brain and Mental Research

The notion that consciousness and self are one is based, inter alia, on the following phenomena:
a. Various personality disorders, such as multi personality disorder or personality collapse cases.
b. The mere fact that people can be hypnotized and can be led to believe they are not who they really are.
c. People who have lost their identity due to different causes and who are creating a new one.
d. Alzheimer and severe dementia patients with a deteriorating brain who have lost most of their conscious faculties.
e. People who had surgery that disconnected the two parts of their brain thus letting each side have independent desires and views of things.

If we look closely into all the above cases, we will find out that indeed the psyche or the consciousness in these people was seriously damaged. However, in no one of the above cases has the self been eliminated. The ego changed form or was divided but did not disappear. A person can believe he is someone else but his own ego does not stop existing. An Alzheimer patient who has lost most of his mental faculties still possesses his own ego which did not get lost. There is no human, no matter his mental and physical condition, who does not have his own self. Our self is preserved even when our brain or mind are seriously impaired as well as when consciousness is almost completely destroyed. Since the self is ubiquitous in the brain, it keeps on existing as long as there is a brain.

Consciousness and Ego in Light of Modern Sciences

According to life sciences, the body and consciousness make up a sophisticated system of biochemical algorithms. In any given second, a subjective experience elapses and another one emerges. No substance prevails from one moment to another and we only fancy having a continuous existence. In any given moment, the electro-chemical system in the brain produces a flash of experience that immediately disappears and gives room to a consecutive one and so on. This is why there is no "soul" or "self" that remains fixed from one flash to another. Man is made up of a collection of different systems similar to the layers in an onion (which were shaped by the environment). When peeled one by one nothing will be left.

A total opposite approach is presented by Raymond Kurzweil, who predicted the whole internet and cellular revolution and who owns intellectual rights to hundreds of patents. According to him, we are about to experience the golden age of nanotechnology which will enable us to reprogram biology so that our cells will remain always young and healthy. In his book "The Singularity is Near", he predicts an imminent and exponential technological leap which will lead us to a stage of singularity whereby we can transfer our memories and personalities to a computer that will store them. We will be capable of building bodies that constitute a hybrid of biology and machine to which we can transfer our essence and thus grant us an eternal life.

The Pure Ego

If, indeed, we are able to transfer our essence into external, younger, more intelligent and healthier bodies, there is no need then to transfer all of our psyche elements. Any negative features, personality disorders, past traumas, bad personal memories can be shed since they are not useful. In this manner, we could theoretically transfer only our pure ego to another body without any other consciousness components. It could flourish and develop, accumulate new pleasurable memories and a new consciousness in a premium body and a new identity which we have chosen.

The pure ego cannot exist without a body that carries it and allows it to realize itself. Lacking unique characteristics, it may not be different from any other pure ego. However, this does not mean we can eliminate its distinct existence. The fact that a drop of water looks like other infinite numbers of drops does not nullify its existence as a drop of water.

We have come a long way in the research and in the deciphering of many scientific mysteries, however we have not yet solved the riddle of our own self.

Stop Playing The Blame Game - It Doesn't Work!

Who is to blame for the problems in your life? While it may seem inside of our minds that someone else is to blame for our misfortunes or heartaches, playing the blame game truly doesn't work. It may feel like maybe your poor self-esteem or poor self-image have come from living with abusive parents, family or even an abusive partner. This is a perfectly rational thought, right?

Think about this deeply for a moment. Is blaming others working for you in your life right now? Does it help you to fix the pain of your poor self-esteem or negative thoughts? Truly, your outside world is a reflection of the world inside of you. If you allow others to be responsible for your negative thoughts or painful feelings, you are giving them your power. You essentially are squashing your own personal power and growth, and ultimately keeping yourself completely stuck in negative feelings or thought patterns.

I'm not saying that you weren't possibly mistreated. And your feelings of being mistreated are very valid and they are your feelings to have. But understand that in this world, the only person you can control is yourself. In order to make a lasting change in your life, you need to change you. A Key To Success Is Your Passion And Purpose In Life - Your True Free Will Lived

Do you have goals and objectives, and I also mean do you have a strong focus in life, or are you consumed by lacking thoughts?

Have you invested a great deal of effort, cash, and time to achieve financial freedom and yet feel you haven't made it?

For all your effort do you still feel that there is something missing in your life? I mean it is certainly crucial to set objectives in your life.

When faced with a number of options, it provides you a focus a way forward a mechanism for making choices. It can also be a jail cell.

How can having clear-cut objectives goals while having fun and focus be a prison cell, is what I'm asking you to consider?

The Course in Miracles shows us that it becomes a prison cell when you produce goals based upon your regretful past experiences, perhaps where you recall failures too hard to handle.

Simply put, then you set the future on the past.

When all the time you are stuck within the border of your previous regrets and fear of the future, it creates the illusion that you are moving forward in life.

It's like driving your life vehicle on the path to success by searching in the rear view mirror all the time.

You have a fantastic vision of exactly what took place in the past, however haven't a hint about what is coming in front of you.

The point is: whatever took place in the past is not a true indication of your full potential.

As the late Wayne Dyer mentioned, "To pull your own strings and grow, you need to be both ready and willing to let your future and present be opposite your past. Your regret of the past is not your destiny."

If you continue to do exactly what you have constantly done then you can only anticipate getting the life of what you've constantly gotten, simply put.

The unfavorable in your mind or on exactly what is missing out on in your life you have no option but to focus and produce limited goals if you continuously focus on the past.

You are back in that prison cell once again and you need to break the cycle, so how do you do it?

You change your thinking, which means a chance to create the life you want is the meaning of success and to learn to develop and then pave the road ahead.

An opportunity to create a focus and objectives that you desire to attain, means answering to, where are you now, and where you want to go, and the being committed to taking action.

- Where are you in life?

- Explain your present scenario.

- What are your top priorities in life?

- Do you like where your life is going?

- Where do you wish to go?

Exactly what is the true meaning of success to you can be answered to the question of, 'when you are on your death-bed recalling your life' exactly what would you want to think your life was about?

Check out these concerns deeply and often until you feel you actually understand where you are now and where you wish to go.

How you arrive will end up being obvious as you advance, and without rushing, because time is on your side no matter what age you are.

Keep focused within, on your true inner essence, and think of you as opening a savings account or investment portfolio of the self, so to speak.

The more time you put in, the more credit and appreciation of your equities and bonds appear on the account and therefore in time the more is offered for withdrawal.

Now the crucial question:

Previously I discussed the many law of manifestation tools available today in the form of free e-books and so much more on the web that can be quite helpful for living your true free will.

So, exactly what holds you back?

What stops you from choosing exactly what you wish to accomplish in your life?

It is not enough simply to create a focus and a plan, and you must comprehend where you are now and where you want to go.

To change something you have to DO SOMETHING NOW!

Put your focus into action, because it's your focus and you have thought it, designed it and built it, now have the desire, enthusiasm and objective to execute it.

Since, at the minute, you have no evidence of what is going to happen, and the only evidence you have is in the past.

To regret the past and fear the future is only keeping you confined to your own self-made prison cell.

There is something miracle-minded about this process called life.

If you look back over your life you will discover, like many others have, that most of the time you set out to do something you didn't have the ability prior, but you started anyhow.

All you must muster up is self-discipline, enthusiasm and guts, and being aligned to your true free will while in this world.

To give yourself a better than typical opportunity for attaining the meaning of success, each night before you go to sleep use these words I've borrowed from the Course in Miracles in prayer or meditation:

If I lose or forget my goal in life let me remember what my purpose is.

Have the nerve to drive towards your goals and objectives, the passion and purpose with strong enthusiasm to keep going and the discipline to create a new practice even when it is difficult.

Keep focused and keep moving forward in life.

On a regular basis ask yourself, what did I do today to bring me closer to achieving my goals and objectives and my focus in life?

Begin right now in this instant to walk free of that self-made jail cell, because the door swings easily open.

(I suggest searching the web for further material on how to empower oneself with the power of manifestation material available today.)

To happiness and success!

Turn Your Fear Into a Path to Your Strength and Recharge Your Time

Finding time to work with difficult feelings like fear can ultimately recharge your energy and confidence.

And the good news is that it doesn't need to eat up a lot of your time to get there.

Indeed, as you develop the habit of looking your difficult feelings right in the eye, you'll find that it's a big time-saver and energy boost for you. You'll experience the added bonus of exercising a lot more positive, proactive control over your time, too, because you'll stop taking the long way around things as an avoidance tactic.

We'll focus specifically on fear in this post - remembering that as you work with this, you can substitute any feeling that is difficult for you.

Start here...

So, to start, here's a useful mantra. Repeat this to yourself as you begin this empowering journey: "I turn my fear into a path to my strength."

Maybe in the past, you've tried to hide your fear from sight. In fact, maybe you go so far as to deny your feelings to yourself. You would rather not think of yourself as indecisive or uncommitted.

That's a natural-enough feeling, but it's one that actually reinforces your fears and will keep you firmly stuck in them.

There's a far more productive way to approach your fears: consciously reframe them as challenges that will call you to develop new and exciting strengths! This puts them in a positive context, and, even more importantly, places you in a proactive (rather than a reactive) stance toward them. Right there you are taking back your power and putting yourself in charge.

That changes everything!

So, the next time you feel fear about saying no, don't push that fear away. Greet it as a friend with important information to share.

3 Questions

Here are 3 questions you can ask, as you pursue a deeper understanding of your fear. Ask yourself:

How can I turn this fear inside out? (Reframe it as an opportunity.)

What lesson have I been trying to avoid? (Embracing it will ground and empower you.)

How will I reinvent myself once I say no? (The assertiveness you develop will expand your potential.)

Let your imagination roam freely as you work these questions - the answers you receive may surprise you - and I'd love to hear your experience as you make this empowering journey!

So... are you inspired to find even more time and increase your effectiveness, efficiency and enjoyment?

Tips on Boosting Self-Confidence for Teens

The following information should help teens improve their self-confidence.

Recognize Your Talents

It's easy to blow off your abilities, especially if your peers make fun of them (and they probably do so out of jealousy). But get serious with yourself and make a list of things you love to do and are good at. Keep this list just for yourself and look at it often. Remember it when you flunk a test or say something you wish you hadn't. Those talents of yours won't go away, and you can rely on them for the rest of your life... as long as you cultivate them.

Cultivate Your Abilities

You may have so many interests and abilities that it's impossible to develop them all; or, you may have one thing you really love to do. Regardless, look into developing and using some of your abilities in applications beyond school. Not only will it open more opportunities to look for activities around your community, but it might also remove you from peer judgment.

Be Like a Duck

Have you ever heard the expression that you should be like a duck and let negative words and attitudes roll off your back? It's a good thing to cultivate - if you take every criticism or off-hand comment to heart, you might find yourself paralyzed with fear of other's judgment. Remember, school and teenage-hood are not forever. You will get out of this stage and you shouldn't let the criticisms of others sabotage your future, which lasts a lot longer than middle and high school!

Resist the Urge to Compare

When you look at your friends, classmates, or pictures of celebrities, try to resist the temptation to scrutinize them as the gold standard to which you should aspire. Someone will always have better legs, superior athletic prowess, nicer hair, etc. than you. But those people don't set the standard for you; you are who you are, and they can't measure up to that, either!

Listen to the Inner Voice - Then Tell It to Shut Up

Stop and listen to your inner thoughts for a while. What do you automatically think of yourself in response to certain situations? What do you say to yourself when you wake up, interact with friends, or go to class? If you are tearing yourself down with negative thoughts, you need to stop. Address the negative self-talk and replace it with positive self-confidence instead.

Reason Why Your Attitude Will Determine Your Altitude

Ever notice your attitude will determine your altitude? Can you find a reason why? Read on to find out.

Consider the following two scenarios.

Scenario 1:

You are near a beach with your housewife. You have three children playing in the sand. You play with them for a while and come and lay beside your wife and bask in the sun. You hold a fun conversation with her. You are in harmony with your family. They can do nothing for you and yet, you are the earning member of the family and provide for your family lovingly. You even thought of bringing them to this great summer vacation and spending time near the beach.

Scenario 2:

You are at home fighting and disputing with your wife. Your children are crying helplessly. You are not earning enough for your family while you wife wants food on the table for the survival of the children at least. You quarrel more grumpily and have lost hope. How to provide for my family, you reflect. You ask, why is there so much scarcity in the family?

Given the two scenarios, the man in the first scenario treats family gently and well. He earns enough to provide for his family, all of whom depend on him helplessly. Yet, he is kind at heart and looks for ways to meet their needs. The Universe looks for ways to give further to this man since the Universe finds him the right vibration match to equip him further and carry him further up the ladder of success. The man's attitude has been tested by the Universe and he has passed the test. That is why the Universe is bending towards him to give him more. This is the magic of life, and attitude is the root of all.

In the second scenario, the man has a scarce mindset. He does not seem to know how to provide for his family and meet their needs. He suffers in silence. Yet, his attitude is responsible for his situation. He should work on to improve his skill set and get a higher paying job. He should encourage his wife to work also at whatever level she can. Together they can thrive and be a happy family. If he follows this attitude, the Universe will shower them with more abundance and wealth. The man initially needs to replace his scarce mindset with an abundant one. Soon money will flow in and they will be one of the happiest families in the neighborhood. The man needs to ask the right questions, have the right mindset and above all, have the right attitude and everything falls together then.

Summing up, the two scenarios help us to understand how attitude determines altitude for a man. He can rise up the ladder of success with the Universe magnifying him every step of the way only if he cares to have the right attitude. Because that will determine how much he will soar and the altitude he will reach. Gotcha?

Why People Always Treat You According To The Way You Unconsciously Treat Yourself

Find Peace Within Yourself

Your relationship with yourself is the most important one you will ever foster in your life.

I don't mean to underscore other relationships, yet it all starts and ends with you.

Everyone wants to be liked and accepted. It is human nature to fit in and integrate.

If you act unconsciously without being mindful of your intentions, you are carrying out unconscious commands.

If you haven't reconciled these thoughts, they are likely to dictate your life. If you set a software program to run at a particular time of day, it will continue to do so until you override the function.

You are the user of your thoughts.

If you are not receiving the love and respect you deserve, I encourage you to look inwards and heal those thoughts not in alignment with the relationships you want to attract.

Dr. Ihaleakala Hew Len is a Hawaiian psychologist who used an ancient Hawaiian method called Ho'oponopono, based on reconciliation and forgiveness to heal an entire ward of criminally insane patients.

He did this without meeting them or being in the same room as them, but by repeating the mantra: "I love you, I'm sorry, please forgive me, thank you."

That is, he healed himself first. The premise is that when he reconciled and forgave parts of himself, the entire ward of patients healed.

Whilst I acknowledge this might sound farfetched, I've read many books, articles and watched countless footage of this practice and seen how powerful it is.

The point I wish to emphasise is, when you find peace within yourself, outside circumstances will reflect that.

Have you met people consumed by their victimhood and believe their relationship problems stem from being treated badly?

One needs only tune in to reality TV and within minutes you'll overhear conversations of people being undermined.

Place A Value On Your Self-Worth

To draw a simple analogy. Consider a sharp stone lodged in your shoe while you walk around consumed by the pain. No matter who you meet, whether or not they are pleasant, your focus is drawn to the pain, not your interactions with them.

By removing the stone, you realise how it was blemishing your interactions with people. The pain affected your relationship with them because it made it difficult to be fully present and engaged.

This is what many people do.

They are unaware of carrying unresolved emotional baggage and use it as a shield to defend themselves. Yet, the shield does little to protect them but discolour their interaction with others.

Author Matt Kahn explains in Whatever Arises, Love That: A Love Revolution That Begins With You that we must develop self-honesty before we can become aware of how we want others to treat us: "Before you can be honest in the presence of another, it is essential to learn how to be honest with yourself. This requires a courageous depth of integrity to become aware of how you want others to treat you, so that you can be that way for others whether or not they're able to do so in return for you."

I often repeat this message in seminars and when coaching clients. I don't take credit for it and believe it was the late Dr. Wayne Dyer who first coined the phrase. I only remind people of its power: "You constantly coach people how to treat you."

It means: if you allow others to treat you unfairly, it signifies on an unconscious level that you feel unworthy.

Whilst you realise it is unacceptable, you feel vindictive because you didn't stand up for yourself. You might blame the other person for treating you wrongly and they may have done so.

However, a person with a strong self-worth recognises the behaviour as unjust and respectfully disallows it.

Being assertive does not involve being mean spirited, it means valuing your self-worth and upholding this as a reminder to others.

The key is to recognise deceitful behaviour and not allow others to treat you dishonestly. This happens when you maintain a healthy relationship with yourself by placing value on your self-worth.

Matt Kahn says treating others with respect because of their inability to treat you well has more to do with the relationship they have with themselves: "In the heart of surrender, treating people far better than they treat you becomes an acceptable way to live, especially because their inability to treat you well has nothing to do with you, but reflects the kind of relationship they have with themselves."

What You Become Is Reflected In Your Destiny

Nowadays, I appreciate the congruence of a person's word and their actions. I assess people by their deeds and will give them the benefit of the doubt on more than one occasion.

However, if they undermine my faith, I'm likely to walk away from the relationship, irrespective of whether I aim to profit from it, financially or otherwise.

I hold no hostile relationships with people because I make it my intention to treat others as I would treat myself. And because I treat myself in high esteem, I foster this behaviour in all my relationships.

You see it comes down to values.

You must be purposeful about what you value in your life. I'm not talking about a career, relationships or life purpose but the values you live by.

"Although all values are considered worthy and important to most people, values vary in how important they are to each person. The more important a value is, the more likely people are to act in ways that allow them to express it and attain the goals underlying it," write authors Sonia Roccas and Lilach Sagiv in Values and Behavior: Taking a Cross Cultural Perspective.

What code of conduct do you abide by?

Is it: loyalty, trust, respect or moral character?

What you uphold is what you become and what you become is reflected in your destiny. You are continually writing the script of your future via your thoughts and actions, irrespective of your awareness.

If you would like others to treat you better, firstly examine any unresolved conflicts within yourself.

"The catalyst of rejection is life's way of reminding you how other people are not always created to treat you better than you treat yourself," affirms Matt Kahn.

Self-enquiry and journaling are powerful methods to help you heal unresolved conflicts, so is working with a trained therapist.

To make peace and transform your unconscious thoughts means to develop a wholesome relationship with yourself. Your interactions and relationships become more relatable instead of hostile.

You are no longer at war with yourself and this is mirrored in your relationships.

Release and renew is a mantra I have emphasised in recent articles.

To change the foundations of your life, let go of the old and tired and create the ideal conditions for the life you wish to merge into.

After all, people treat you according to the way you unconsciously treat yourself.

As leadership expert John C. Maxwell writes in Your Road Map For Success: You Can Get There from Here: "If you want others to treat you more kindly, you must develop better people skills. There is no sure way to make other people in your environment improve."

It is by making the unconscious conscious that you come to develop healthy relationships that originate from your authentic self.

The Dry Erase Board - A Hidden Message

If you have been following along with any of my post/blogs/articles, you know that I often express my "Aha" moments or Knowings through analogies. My mind and inner knowing will play with an idea for a while, collecting information, ideas and Knowings until it spills out on a page. Sometimes it is instantaneous and other times it is a slow burn. My latest process has been a slow burn.

For the last several weeks my mind has been playing with the idea of a dry erase board and then early this morning during a quiet moment the thoughts all came together. You will have to use your imagination to follow along. I promise not to stretch it too far, but I will need your willingness to play.

First let us imagine that we cover a large wall with that fancy white paint that simulates the surface of a dry erase board. It's great stuff. You can turn any wall in an office space into a "mastermind arena". Now, using blue painter's tape, make a huge rectangle, framing a portion of the freshly painted white surface. What you should be seeing in your mind's eye is a large pristine white wall, and an area on that wall blocked out by a frame of blue tape. Leave at least 1 foot above and to the sides of your frame and 3 -4 feet below. Get the picture? Great, let's move on. Grab a chunky black dry erase marker and write down the following words inside your imaginary framed area:

ROOT CAUSE, SQUARE ROOT, PLANT, TRAUMA, SHIFT, ZERO POINT, TECHNIQUES, TERMINOLOGY, FEAR, SEEDLING, SEEDED, INJURY, ILLNESS, HEALING, ORIGINAL SIN, STARTING POINT, HEALER, ENERGY, QUANTUM, FEAR, PRACTITIONER, PATIENT, CLIENT, TRAINING, WORDS, CRYSTALS, DOWNLOAD, FORMULA, BOOKS, STORIES, TESTIMONIES, EFFORT, FEAR, SEED, PROTECTION, BRAIN WAVES, ENCODING, MODALITY, TIME, BELIEF SYSTEM... add your own.

Perfect... look carefully at your creation, really study it. Somewhere hiding on the wall that you just created is the answer to your personal healing, the healing of others and the healing of our world. Now I have your attention! What if your ability to return to balance on every level; be it emotional, mental, physical or spiritual was somewhere among all of those words? What if IT has always been right there, right in front our face! Well, it just might be.

Now take a dry eraser, try to erase your words. Go ahead and use the imaginary bottle of spray stuff that is supposed to help take away the ink. I don't know about you, but my imagination knows what happens on those dry erase boards. The words never seem to completely go away, there is a smeary messy grey haze left on the board. Imagine that this grey smeary mess has even gone beyond the boundaries of your blue tape. Ugh, it is soooo frustrating, the spray just dilutes the ink and the eraser just seems to smear that mess all over. Even when I rub hard it just smears and smears, leaving that murky grey haze hiding the pristine white of my original palette.

Recently my friend had this same dilemma at her work, she belabored over how to return the wall to its original state. Fearful that if she used the wrong "stuff" she might ruin the paint finish. Ultimately, she found the right tool. "Magic Eraser Sponge"

Did you catch it? Did you sense, know or imagine the hidden truth?

When I try to find my wholeness within the constraints of this plane of time and space, I end up muddying the waters. My perfection, my magnificence, my perfect balance, my wholeness can only be found when I remember, return and reconnect to who I truly am. The words are only written on the surface, they did not penetrate the foundation of the white paint. My illness, imbalance, trauma and illusion of separation has not penetrated my being, it is all riding on the surface, being smeared around and around.

I Am the original, pristine and brilliant white palette of my creator.

So how do we clean up this mess?

First step is to KNOW what your foundation Is: Impermeable Brilliant Pristine White Slate Full of Possibilities and Potential. You were created in the luminous image of your creator.

Second is to be aware: Perceive that what you are trying, believing, fearing is just muddying your waters, and glazing your foundation with a murky haze. Return your attention to your foundation.

Last by not least have the right tools: You have the ability to see, feel and experience who you truly are. You can choose the magic of knowing that your foundation was and has never been truly affected by the illusion of the murky mess. Focus your attention and reconnect to the "GLORY" of who you are, then soak up the veracity of your perfection.

NEVER STOP DREAMING

Happiness Quotations: Be of Solemn Joy

It's so easy to look for happiness without. The self-talk goes like this "I'll be happy when I'm driving a new truck," or "I'll be happy when I'm in love with a new man," or "I'll be happy when I get back to the body I had when I was a teen."

The looking without doesn't get happiness and then it's easy to get down in the dumps.Watch the self-talk for most people loop negative self-talk that they learned from parents. The funny thing is that parents learned from their parents. So your negative self-talk might stem from six generations ago. Now if six generations ago your family was well-off and joyful, that would indeed be magic. But if you are like many, six generations ago your family was in poverty and ached to escape to a new land. So to break-free of unhappiness, take some time to replace negative self-talk with joyful happy quotes.

Here is your happiness quotation for today, an original happy quote

Be of Solemn Joy. You are Loved.

You can trust the happiness that is deep inside of you. You can trust it because it is the very essence of you. It doesn't belong to anyone else.

You might express happiness by giving your dog a warm bath. You might express your happiness planting a garden for spring flowers to bloom. You might need to ride a bicycle fast downhill, or go to the gym and go for a swim.

You are not made of the same cloth as any other being on the planet.

If you can reach up, touch the sun with your heart. Reach up and allow the sun to warm you, even on a cloudy day when the rainbows are hiding. The sun has powerful and potent energy to heal and nourish.

How you are one-of-a-kind

It is surprising to discover that siblings have different genetic make-ups. Same parents, different mixes of genetics to comprise that one-of-a-kind expression of humanity.

It is not a surprise then that every creation of yours is yours alone. Be of joy today for you are here to express your own individual chi.

Happiness does not have to be elusive. Be of solemn joy today, and know that you are loved. In all your imperfections and perfections, in your own height and weight and problems and successes. All of this magic of you is why you are here.

Be of solemn joy. You are loved!

How to Create a Vision Board That Manifests

One of my favorite ways to start the new year s with a vision board. Creating a vision board is a form of manifesting that is extremely powerful. A good vision board holds the "essence" of your future self and lifestyle. The most common mistake people make when creating a vision board is making it a "to do" list or a goal sheet. Refrain from putting up jobs or goals, as those are the means to the quality and outcome of your vision, not the essence of who you will be. This does not mean we don't have work or career goals it simply puts the focus on how the work you do today is the vehicle to build our vision. They both align but for the purpose of our vision we are unattached to the how and connecting to the WHY!

For the purpose of this vision work I am presenting, we acknowledge it is the work of the heart and soul and therefore needs to be void of reason and thinking. The goal of your vision board is to create the story of the future self. The board can serve as a process or pathway to creating goals but does not require you include them.

Often as a result of creating a vision board you will find the sub conscious dreams are brought into the conscious mind and in turn, your reality by way of experiences and opportunities. At this point we have the ability to choose what path we take. Therefore it is very important to be open-minded and mindful of what may be coming into your reality.

The energy that emanates from your vision is of your higher self and therefore may challenge you to be out of your comfort zone in any area that requires growth. This is now the time to set goals to meet the challenges. Opportunities may look like seeing a course that interests you, a job or an event. They may ask you to give of your time, energy or money and cause you to reconsider and say no. But often it is a matter of prioritizing our daily tasks and finances to serve this new direction. Ultimately the things we set out to achieve evolve us into the person of our vision board story and they will be worth the investment.

Vision board exercise:

  1. Choose magazines because you like the cover. Don't look through them just simply pick them up. (I often go to thrift stores and purchase used ones if I don't have enough lying around my house.)
  2. Choose words or phrases to cut out that resonate with who you are aspiring to be or who you are would like to become.
  3. Choose photos because you like the color, the look, the idea, not because it says who you think you currently are or what you now do. Simply cut pictures out of magazines without judgment.
  4. Once all your photos are clipped, arrange them in "categories" to create mini stories. Stories can be my love life, my journeys, my adventures, my dreams, my future, my aspirations, my health and wellness, my vitality, etc..
  5. You can use your word and phrase clippings to paste to each grouping or you can write your own words.
  6. If you find your pictures agitate you, create tension, anxiety or even a fraction of stress, eliminate them. Its most likely a goal not a vision.
  7. Once you like your stories and they "feel" right glue them onto your vision board.
  8. Hang your vision board somewhere you can take time to reflect on it that's in a space personal to you.

Vision Board Meditation:

  • To start a vision board meditation simply allow yourself a few minutes of time.
  • Set your focus to your heart area and ask that your mind stills while your heart "sees" the board.
  • Take a moment in each story or category to name how this makes you feel. Not sure yet? Just ask that you become aware. Once you have a feeling, amplify it by seeing yourself in this story. What attributes, physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually have you attained by bringing this story into your life. Daydream till it "FEELS" good in every cell of your body.
  • If you feel your thoughts judging or questioning you can write them down and choose to work on this later. Or, you can simply thank them for showing up and bringing awareness but that you are choosing to enjoy this story.
  • You can choose one category at a time or continue with your whole vision board till complete. There is no right or wrong way to do this. Once I'm finished envisioning I like to close my quest with a deep breath and as I release it I put a smile on my face, love and joy in my heart and say... And so it is.

The vision you put forth IS manifesting and so it is very important to stay open, non judgmental and pass experiences and opportunities through the heart when they arise. Try saying yes more often and see where it leads!
